seconds remaining in the first half doubles to the left side nope we're gonna go double sniffer back to the left side empty backfield four vaguely can you throw in here he's gonna throw it it's gonna fake and they're gonna go to the middle of the field that's gonna be caught by the Eagles number 11 Nick janick no see it I saw a touchdown yeah hold you man so it's going to go incomplete [Music] so that's going to go incomplete we're going to have second down and ten now he didn't I didn't even see the ball come out of his hands I think the officials are getting together now coach Hunter and even a couple of the Eagles are saying your hands were up as a touchdown and then you called it incomplete so if you called the touchdown first you got to go with the touchdown that's what you call here goes another 10-minute discussion well then they're gonna have to come over and explain the touchdowns going on dude you got to go for two go for two go for two go for two so now now roxanna's coaches are coming out they want to know what's going on and they just got a penalty this is getting out of hand man I'm telling you this is an eagles and shells game every it's gonna start getting chippy too because Roxanne is kind of known to be a little chippy towards the end of games but um so make sure you're keeping your head on a swivel as you look over there towards the Roxanne sideline coach not too happy but he did he put up a touchdown whenever we thought it was touchdown then they say incomplete and now they say it's touchdown again um so now with all of that going on now you look over at our coaches once again we are now going to go for the pat we are going for a pat now a lot going on right there [Applause] great job by the Eagles they're getting into the end zone you had to do it [Music] so there's going to be the sideline penalty nope touchdowns so and they wave it off the flag now they waved off the flag on Roxanna Alex I don't know if I can call this game anymore so we have still waiting a 21-12 ball game we're gonna see if the Eagles now are going to go for two they threw the they threw the kick into you off so now coach owner says we're going for two he's got Cameron Yannick in at running back Brendan like as your sniffer back vaguely the quarterback I'm gonna see it run right here we got a lot of beef up there and it's going to be a lot of Big Block in there vaguely is going to get into the end zone two-point conversion is good are you sure keep your eyes down there make sure all right so a crazy two minutes right there but when it's all said and done the Eagles get into the end zone like we needed we get the two-point conversion and we now Trail this one 21-14 turning into the probably one of the wildest games [Music] good job by the Eagles getting into the end zone like I said we had to do it we'll drive there so now you still got to make it a step here this 22 seconds you can't let anything happen there great work I'm going to stay there by our camera Crews good job they were trying to find the officials because the officials were talking but then the coaches were going crazy so good job to our high school students and our producer behind us getting everything going so crazy a couple of minutes I think it was that was a good drive though down Bagley threw the ball really well on that drive and a lot of good openings for the wide receiver a lot of Separation so what do we have right there it looked like we faked another bubble once again it was just right down the middle of the field was uh Nick janick yeah sometimes sometimes those linebackers are or if it's man-to-man they're one one-on-one with that running back so if they think okay they're gonna go to the running back real quick and then you have a wide receiver running right behind you that's what Janet did there and lucky enough got a touchdown one score game see a fumble here he kicks it deep and it goes into the end zone for a Touchback so the shells are gonna have the ball out the 20-yard line as crazy as that all just happened I think I'd try for an end zone shot you never know it might happen so the Eagles defense comes out onto the field now 22 seconds remaining in this first half we will run to a break before the Century 21 halftime show we'll let the band get set up and we will bring you their performance always a good one always fun to watch at that halftime show once again we'd like to thank Century 21 for sponsoring that it looks they will take a knee here everybody is up on the line of scrimmage and that will do it for the first half a crazy ending to what was a slow slow first half shells taking advantage of some of the miscues by The Eagles couple fumbles I think and they took advantage on two of them got themselves two touchdowns so as we get done with the first half heading into that Century 21 halftime show the Mandy McGuire group scoreboard reads shell is 21 Eagles 14.

benefit the Mandarin to Disney summer of 2023 foreign get your 50 50 tickets out zombie Eagle athletic booster club parade is 107 dollars foreign the time foreign ladies and gentlemen welcome to the Century 21 halftime show presented by Century 21 here in town we'll talk a little bit of that first half Jared a game that you can tell we haven't played in 13 days yeah I was uh real sloppy from our first drive that we got the ball I mean Don Begley fumbled on that real early uh probably three four minutes in the game and uh our defense was had their backs to the end zone there uh so not a very good start but um got the ball in Vegas hands a little bit more and getting outside a lot of a lot of outside runs that we've seen from him um get loose a little bit tonight so we'll see if we can throw the ball a little bit downfield in the second half because I mean that last drive that we went on to score uh veggie was kind of sounded down the field finding Janet uh finding Wetzel a couple times so I'm really looking to see if they could throw the ball a little more here and you look at those two turnovers that we did have turned into two touchdowns for our team so give them credit they're taking advantage of that short field that we're giving them yeah so they're they are doing what they need to do and Eagles are just going to have to figure out how to get into the end zone and uh at least one more time more than they do so Eagles are going to have their work cut out for them Roxanna will get the football to start the second half you look around the league like I said it is the first game in the yukoke conference Freeburg is leading Central 13-8 half Waterloo a little bit of a shocker here that leads moscoda 14-6 and a half in Edwardsville leads O'Fallon which is the big game of the week Edwardsville and O'Fallon Edwardsville leads that one 17-7 at the half thank you to Zach Daley for getting us those halftime scores so that big game though in the Cahokia conference Breeze Central and Freeburg we'll look at we'll look ahead one week it's uh Freeburg comes to Colombia next week so big game here for the eagles they need to start out on that 1-0 made it a little tough on themselves right now to start but okay conference play is always going to be neck and neck between the top three teams here in Columbia Central and Friedberg so Eagles are going to have 24 minutes to make up that seven points and uh we'll see what happens after that Jared what are your keys now we talked about that first half what do you have three keys and now let's look into that second half now that you got the the cobwebs off from that 13-day layover yeah I'm at the beginning of the game I wanted to see the ball in uh burning White's hands a little more out of the running back position but uh he did fumble one earlier that we were lucky enough to recover Nick or Cam janick is that yeah he's came in a running back tonight so we've seen about three or four different running backs um back there with vaguely so I think using using our running backs a little bit more to free up a little more room for vaguely get him more room to work and I think I think we could walk out of here with a dub but we gotta get a stop here and get some more points on the board we talked about the student section the blue crew down there in construction Night Eagles got some work to get through here as we end the Century 21 halftime show and bring you second half action here at the Columbia multi-purpose field good kickoff by vaguely recovered at the five yard line shows are going to make it right up the middle they're up to 25 bust it to the left side to the 30 to the 35 and finally brought down and that's where that Shell's offense is going to be a run heavy offensive we've seen that first half it's going to take over before we're going to return yeah on that defensive line and those linebackers because they were kind of doing whatever they wanted to uh in the Run part of the game but um we'll see uh what we can do here because I remember that first drive Schnabel had what two or three tackles on the first drive and I don't think we've called his name since so uh see if he can get his name up in there again Eagles typically staying in that three-man front even with these teams that run the football a lot you would see a lot of teams go down to a four-man front but the Eagles stay with three and they keep their linebackers up close you don't see Matt drop the ball right there he didn't drop that one then when they threw it to him so and send a motion man they're gonna exhaust sorts of reactions and it's going to be a reverse going to get to the outside force back in by Wetzel good for 11 yards and a first down Roxanna coming out firing right away Brennan wike was there on that play too he forced everything back in like he's taught to do number 18.
running back is good enough to kind of give him a little stiff arm and get up field and pick up first down and as you look at him there he Taps his chest knows that that was his bad 46 yard line now for the shells I'm seeing is slowing down a little bit getting that play call is already under 20 seconds on the play clock three men down defensive ends are standing up everyone creeps up it's gonna be a run to the left side they're going to get underneath Janik misses the tackle and it's going to be brought down with three Eagles finally another hard run see if we can get a number on that number 35 that is that Terrell Graves 511 202 he's a strong running back and they were using uh who's that big guy we were talking about earlier they had another running back that was like almost 200 pounds so you got the speed back and then you got the power back I mean that's all you can ask for as a run first offense I think Roxanna knows that the Eagles offense can get Fiery in a hurry so they are slowing it down here 10 seconds now motion man we'll be here right up back we're gonna go right up the middle this time though and it's going to be Schnabel just catching them along with number 73 Tom kenningstein for a gain of two [Applause] [Music] we talked about a little bit earlier but I mean as a run run heavy offense it's it's nice when you've got those big boys in front of you blocking for you and then you can mow your defense to sleep and maybe pass one down the field here in a little bit if you don't get a first round on this play maybe a little third down action they can Chuck one down field so we'll see what Roxanna does here on a second in about eight second and eight it's an emotion man they're gonna go to the left side this time and it's going to be sniffed out by Dom vigley and brought down for a loss of one you don't miss too many attackers number 12 down Bailey he was right up there once again we've had we've seen it a couple times with this camera angles we have now the hole opens up when you get a white hat in there real quick they may only gain two or three yards but they're filling those gaps and they're filling those holes in a hurry Denny the starter we were so excited to see tonight he's over here on the sideline with his pads off so he's probably done for the night up the middle this time they're gonna have to bend it to the right side people's gonna have to force it back inside and they do it's gonna be a gain of four and it's going to be a fourth and five in a tough spot here for Roxanna open hits number 18 amazing Logan hits [Applause] [Music] fourth down in five Roxanna unsure if they're going to want to punt they're going to go for it taking their time [Music] looking like they're gonna go for it here watch the football here if you're the Eagles we've got them to jump twice I don't know why it's so quiet in here doubles this time running back's gonna go to the left side and it's going to be caught gonna be good for a first down plus two Gain of seven First and Ten for the shells I think our fans got to get into it there and then you got a fourth and fourth and five I think one of the biggest plays of the game up to this up to this point I mean you get to stop he'll try to tie the football game but you guys are just not into it tonight blue crew has been kind of quiet over there coach G's got his work cut out for him not on skates too bad right now they are moving back but a little bit of control here first down and ten ball at the Eagles 28 yard line [Applause] that was the first time we had seen Roxanna in a shotgun formation it's going to be a run right up the middle Schnabel once again is going to latch on and gonna be brought down by a couple different Eagles janick was in there as well foreign quarter here on that Mandy McGuire group scoreboard Eagles Trail at 21-14 two costly turnovers LED two touchdowns that's been the story of the game right now if you're Roxanna I mean you're loving this drive right now taking time off the clock try to punch one and go up two scores they're gonna bend it to the left side they tried going up the middle it's going to be a missed tackle but that's all right it forces all the other eagles to get there Mason vaguely was in the backfield and it's a flock of eagles to make a tackle no gain on the play as well as on the carry again for Roxanna I mean you've got another big third down but I still hear crickets literally third and six five minute drive now for the Roxanna shows when you look at the defense a couple guys with their hands on their hips they need to get off the football field I love how Hicks has a 14 on his jersey but 54.
motion man to the right side they're going to fake it up the middle quarterbacks and keep it to the right he's gonna cut up the middle the option it might be a first down it's going to be close we'll see what kind of spot the officials give them and it will be a first down for the shells brought down by number 57 Mason Schnabel [Music] needle's kind of on our heels right now and Roxanna just marching down the field and that's what a run first offense usually does they'll get three yards here four yards here two yards first down and you're wasting a lot of time too so they've already wasted half of this quarter gonna be a pass play to the right side it's going to be a phage route wetzel's gonna have to make a place let's make a play interception Zach Wetzel into the end zone for a Touchback so you're throwing that on First and Ten when you just ran all the way down I don't understand what are you doing on that side of the ball oh my goodness then don't break coach Jermaine he's given up the yardage and he gets a turnover where the Eagles desperately need it and let's see what this Eagles offense is able to do now do not understand that play Paul I was saying that when we played Waterloo too I mean whenever you're literally running that you're getting five yards four yards every carry and then you want to take a shot to the end zone that you haven't thrown deep all night and you're gonna pick on our number one corner good luck good job there Wetzel getting in the way and making a big play first down Eagles tight end right sniffer back right we're going to run it to the right with Cam janick he's going to get three I'm coach Horner you had success with a little bit of tempo to end the first half let's try it again Cameron Janet up the middle of Columbia right now which is good to see him runs really hard puts his head down fights for extra yards [Applause] [Music] gonna be the same formation looking like for the Eagles janik's coming out 5-10 175 South one same formation I'm gonna move them from a pistol back to the left side of Vegas he's going to keep it this time he's going to have to try to get to the outside he's going to make one man miss he's going to get to the third he lowers his shoulder gains an extra yard out of it and that's a first down for the Eagles run the football hard Don Vega right 32-yard line now for the Eagles First and Ten good run there by vaguely making that man miss on the Jeep foreign doubles same formation we'll just call it that ball on the left hash this time now 518 remaining in the third quarter going to be a play action Vegas Gonna Roll to the right he's got Hicks and it's going to be caught by Hicks good for another first down or another eight yards after the carry good for 18 and another corn Vehicles first down seen a lot of that from the bakery tonight on the rollout and he almost throws better on the Run than he does sitting in the pocket crazy to say but he's he's got such good vision and he can get out there so quick because he's a quick quick quarterback and then he's got an arm strength to get it down field on the run which is very impressive to do as a high school quarterback it's a great job by Don Baker to just get out in open space and find his open guy this time we're gonna go sniff her back to the left side looks like that tight end is going to be to the left is Hicks sniffer back is wike pistol back to Janet gonna be another muft muff snapped there and it's going to be a loss of five vaguely just did the smart thing and fell on it second and 15 now after the low snap that's that's those are always drive Killers right there because you get two first downs you start getting some yardage and and now you're at now your coach Horner and now you're like you're trying to get a second and six second and seven here now you gotta drop one for second and fifteen just to get a manageable third down and he's not eight or nine trips to the left side running back to the left it's gonna be a roll to the left it's going to be caught by what he's got five he's gonna get close to ten maybe eight and that's gonna bring up a manageable third and two and that's what he wanted thank you [Music] so third down and two coacher going down talking to the official once again trying to get a call doesn't get it third and one now they're going to call it ball at the shells 44 yard line I think the refs watch that first half and heard me talking talking smack on him a little bit so looks like they're on it in the second half Hicks is going to be your tight end left sniffer back left spit out receivers on each side gonna be a hard count they're gonna throw up sides First and Ten for the Eagles keep it going coach Horner so Alex I know I'm not going to say but if we score a touchdown we've got two block kicks and I don't chance it ah no I'm gonna Transit I'm gonna go yeah I'm gonna take the time so a lot of time yeah you can get another touchdown yeah I'm gonna take I'm gonna try to take my points we gotta get the end zone first that's what we do same formation pistol back forward running back they're gonna go right up the Middle with Yannick foreign that's fine because he might run it so as the defense alignment you have to go make that attack because he might pull it down oh yeah because you might hand it off you might pull it and that guy doesn't know if you're gonna pull it or not so if he doesn't go make the tackle that was like going to the seconds after a hand move off usually the officials will tell you before the game they'll say I'm gonna say Ball's gone makes you get hit after that that's really good problems [Applause] second and seven trips to the right side running back to the left Bailey's looking to the left gonna be caught with Bryant he's going to have himself a first down he's going to get to the 25-yard line and it's going to be another first down for the Eagles and that's always nice whenever you're running back and catch the ball out of the backfield we're down by any level of football I mean that's one of the hardest things to guard then you add a running quarterback on top of that um any receiver that can catch the ball in the backfield definitely makes it a lot harder on the defense for linebackers to read if it's a run if it's a play action where that running back's going so great play call here by coach Warner and great eyes to get that ball to Brian on the side gonna be just a quarterback run to the right side this time vaguely is going to cut up field as he needs to spins out of attack he keeps his feet moving he's got a first down in a couple of extra yards he's going to get into more of the 10-yard line and it'll be the Eagles football inside the Red Zone scrambled I got coach Kendall over here just came over here and picked up that block so he might be right outs if we score here you can take a chance on that third kick two of them have been locked tonight one p-a-t one field goal we got to get in the end zone here First and Ten from the 12th tight end left sniffer back left his wife running back left is Janika vigley it's going to be the same play they're just going to run it to the left side and it's going to be a gain of zero that low snap we haven't mentioned snaps this year at all yet tonight they're a little bit low more times than not they're going to be out coach Warner is going to have to drum something up here like you said Jared you want to have those third and manageable is not the third and fifteen so what do you think he's going to be drawing up here for the second and ten I think White's gonna run a little bubble route like we always see and I mean it's wide open right now trips to the left side rolling to the left is vaguely he's looking in the end zone he's going to find what's what the five what's his gonna put his head down he's gonna get out of Bounds at the one number three line so it'll be a first and goal Eagles I'm gonna do a quarterback sneaker I'm not taking the football out of my hands coach is easy Allen I'm sure the line will make a play make a block and Braden Johnson Bryant and Janet come off that brings Hicks and Cameron Yannick there's your muscle end of the game right now with Hicks white and Cameron janek's coming in [Music] touchdown Eagles [Applause] touchdown [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] there's an injured Eagle on the play so with the training staff going out onto the field we will head into a break and we will bring you the important Pat after this foreign [Music] thank you [Music] the injured Eagle was able to come off on their own power and the Eagles are now going to go out we'll see it looks like we are going to go for two here coach domain and the Horner were able to talk it over and they got something drawn up he goes are trailing 21-20 tight and left sniffer back left running back left vaguely runs to the left he runs into the end zone for a two-point conversion and it's good foreign as we went into that break Jared was holding up two fingers he wanted two right along and it's able to work to Perfection you got the ball in the three yard line in the middle of the field I mean that they can pretty much see the re see what defense they ran and read the field really well um great job there just get to the left and find a little hole and take the lead and you look at that play right there that's a simple Zone just everyone's flowing to that left side and that that cut back is always a hole you're looking for I mean if you can get to the outside great but that cutback lane is going to be there because they have bad sides the force in that side over that sequence might have been my favorite sequence I've seen on here you have the Wetzel pick and then you got to have a Touchback vaguely making plays on his feet and throwing uh uh Carter Hicks and all of our receivers playing really well tonight so um great job to take the lead here and a lot of time left on the on the clock still but great second half to start off so the Eagles lead it now in that Mandy Maguire group scoreboard 22-21 with 143 remaining in the third quarter officials giving the quarterback down vaguely the kicker a little extra time Carter Hicks is out there waiting to set it up [Music] on a game that the Eagles took a little bit to get the cobwebs off and they're able to get things rolling now Dominic Begley did kickoff for Columbia looked like the injury was number 73 kinningstein 123 I think it was two white came off slow I think that guy's gonna have to go out and try to make a stop keep that lead legally kicks it it lands at the one and ends up in the end zone for a Touchback seeing the shells are going to take over at the 20-yard line we're going to keep it here we're like ESPN where it's the touchdown timeout kickoff timeout we're going to keep it here and they give you those little ads they still show you the game on the side of the screen but they go to a quick 20 second ahead it's all about that money if you would like to donate to the Columbia Eagles broadcast in kchs email Coach Warner and he will send you the right information to become a sponsor of the broadcast either a football game basketball or they do plays a little bit band concerts they do a little bit of everything Choir concerts so make sure you like that or you hit that like button subscribe to the YouTube page kchs remote for us on Facebook [Applause] eagles need to get a stop now they're going to be a quick pass play nearly intercepted by Brandon Mike he was right there in the throwing Lane but instead it falls incomplete second and ten great play by white he just said that he came off a little slow in the play and he comes up and he's trying to make a play right away that was six right there if he catches that with a full head of steam you read that like a book quarterback didn't even look that way before he threw it just caught the ball and kind of slung it out that way but great job my wife break it up second three down lineman for the Eagles still five linebacker stepping up they're gonna go right up the middle there's going to be a gain of two or three [Applause] nothing really major they're gonna give them actually with the forward progress they're gonna give them five so a third and five yeah I'm Coach G I'm gonna bring a little bit of pressure here from from right outside Cameron Brandon Jackson I'm gonna bring it to the outside they keep running to the inside and bustling yeah I'm gonna bring it from the outside and try to force him to keep containing see some type of motion and you can also reverse here or some type of talking about Roxanna right up the middle Mason Schnabel right into his hands gain of two he's playing he's pumped up now since we said his name and we didn't hear for him I hear it from him in that whole second quarter I mean he made two pretty big plays here and uh second half already so good to see the big boy getting his name called [Applause] [Music] [Applause] that's gonna force a punt everything the Eagles needed right there as we're nearing the end of the third quarter have so far Vegas is going to be the Return Man Standing about the 43-yard line they're going to have to punt us off as was five seconds on the play clock [Music] gonna be a rugby style punt to the right side he's going to get it off it's going to be catchable for vaguely he's going to Fumble it though and he's going to be able to fall on it he was trying to run before catching it but that's all right we're still going to have good field position as we take over from our own 39-yard line and I honestly don't think we've seen him catch a punt this year because I feel like every against Mascoutah uh they didn't have to pump very much yeah um against Waterloo um I think they they didn't want to kick it to him so they just kicked it out of bounds I think that might have been his first attempt at catching a punt that we've ever seen so great to help I am to recognize that he dropped it and hop hop back on the ball real quick first down Eagles so the final 11 seconds probably gonna be the last play unless it's an incomplete pass you're gonna likely be the last play of the quarter there's a flag on the play Cameron janick's gonna get about four or five yards there's gonna be too many men on the field for him they were trying to get a guy off at the last second they weren't able to thank you very awareness by thank you to pick it up right before he many men on the field I believe that's a five-year-old penalty lips so do they have earpieces and they can talk to each other now don't I don't think they because every every flag tonight they group up and they talk I really don't think this this crew is using it he's got something in his earpiece too many people on the field I gotta figure out what the eye drop penalty we play first down you think looking like it is it looks like Alfie's got the down box [Applause] still on first down still discussing [Applause] he's ready to snap the ball and these refs aren't even ready so look over here to the wide side of the field Hayden Auburn Mill is completely outside of the numbers I think he's going to be out of the play but that's going to do it for the end of the third quarter as the clock starts since it was a run play a great third quarter there for the Eagles and they needed it as they were able to take that Mandy McGuire group scoreboard Eagles 22 shells 21 will bring you the fourth quarter right after this foreign [Music] welcome back to the fourth quarter here from the Columbia multi-purpose field where you look at coach Warner and Coach Jermaine right there did a great job on that third quarter and they're gonna have to keep it up during this fourth quarter Eagles are going to have the first down in five after the illegal substitution see what coach Warner has drummed up right now tight end left sniffer back left running back they're going to run it to the right is Janik and he's hit right away a gain of one not sure where that guy came from but it's a good thing that Janet held on the floor it looks like that backside linebacker you kind of put a hit on him Janet like you said they didn't even see him coming from the ball luckily he didn't fumble there maybe you gained yards second and five Eagles bring Janik and Hicks off the field and they send their hands to him you call it end of the game now ball in the middle of the field trips to the right side running back right Begley's going to run to the right side he's looking deep and it's going to be a good call there by vaguely just throwing it out of bounds he was wanting the corner but the shells did a good job of keeping everyone in front of him and he had Wetzel on this little out route or a little sideline hitch route but I think that corner kind of stayed and that safety was over the top for that corner out so he really had nowhere to go with the ball that's a huge play there by vaguely not taking a sec here at third and fourth four if you take a sack there you're not forcing anything down failed of course maybe an interception it's a good play there for the Eagles tight end right sniffer back right running back right we're gonna run to the right he's gonna get a loss on the plays and steps out of bounds it's gonna be a loss of two not much going on that play as it was shut down pretty much from the snap vaguely on the keeper and the big thing now they would go out of bounds that stops [Music] and you have to find them for the Eagles obviously yeah [Music] so now brings up a fourth down and seven all at the Eagles 42-yard line [Music] good thing about having your quarterback is a punter you still run out in doubles but it is going to be a punt it's going to get off it's going to bounce at the 21 yard line it's going to stop right away and it's going to be a shells bounce and it'll be picked up at the 24 yard line so Coach G now he's got to have the biggest stop of the night we got ourselves a good one here and we'll scooter and Waterloo they still have a good one Waterloo leads that one 28-12 a little bit better and after three free bird Trails Breeze 29 night or 23 19.
Civic Memorial Beach I don't know loses the Triad 49 nothing the Eagles are up 22-21 trying to train them at 11 on the clock here in this ball game the first game of the kokia conference eagles need to get this Victory need to get another stop right here send a motion man to the right side it's going to be a play action quarterback's Gonna Keep it he's going to flush to the right side he's got somebody down the middle of the field that's going to be the catch Mason vaguely was there but was just about a step late and it's going to be good for about 29 yards and a first down for the shells right at Midfield great catch there by that I think I was the big guy that they got too good yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah [Music] there he is number 24 of 6-3 210.
that's a big boy First and Ten bolt Midfield 11 minutes now remaining on the clock [Applause] they're going to go up the Middle with him again this time he's going to get nine yards before he is brought down by Wetzel and number 14 I believe that is Logan hits their left guard and maybe their Center he just got pushed back about 15-20 yards on that play and that that big old running back follow it as much yep as much as he could get [Applause] that's a big second and one Eagles got everybody three yards next to the line they're gonna go right up the middle gain of two and it's going to be good for first down shells [Applause] again number 75 Joe Kish coming off a lot of those linemen going both ways getting in fourth quarter now you got to dig deep [Applause] it's nice when you have about six or seven of them though whenever they get tired you can just sub right in and they all kind of know what's going on so coach Baker's blessing of those guys [Applause] he's mentioned that before and that Bolton meets coach is going out week in and weekend he loves the death right up the middle once again with the big man they're gonna get four five gonna get to about the 31-yard line we'll call it four yards in second and six and big boys just running straight downhill and four plus four plus four that's the first thing here and that's I mean Jackson that's all they really run right now I don't know I'm still going back to that Passage through on First and Ten inside their own 20 and there's an interception oh that was a weird toy I don't know what happened on that play there there's a bunch of guys moving everywhere [Applause] I guess the center snapped it and the quarterback just took a kneel he didn't know what to do so he took a knee it's a loss of two on the play still ticks keep it dick is anybody not that I'm aware of [Applause] so third and seven big play here for the Eagles d thank you I play there is nobody knew what was going on third and seven they're gonna run the same play again they're going to follow their big guys it's going to be another hard Run for the shells and another first down [Applause] and they're just feeding him now [Applause] picking on Schnabel now a couple times now they're going for him I've seen on it a few times he's getting double teamed almost almost every play on this drive because they're I mean they're on the same exact play they're just turning around handing it off getting four five six yards every every carry and they're gonna do it again and again let's get another eight yards maybe even 10.
Hanson is coming on the field having said his name yet tonight he's coming on for Schnabel and I think that's a good move right there yeah and schnabel's limping a little bit off the field here and gotta get a fresh more fresh guy in there gain of nine second and half a yard we'll call it [Music] second ten ball in the 12 yard line gonna hand the ball off right up the middle and it's going to be sniffed out good job Cameron janick saying you fooled us six times they get the first down but it's only a gain of two on the play first down and ten ball in the 11 yard line now eight minutes and seven seconds remaining in the ball game so it's still a First and Ten from the 11th so they still have a chance to get a first first down in goal and I'll get to the one yard line they're kind of in a good spot here you just got to dig deep right here it's going to be a reverse they're going to run it towards us they're going to try to go to the outside we're going to get to the outside good Pursuit though for the Eagles brought down by Logan Hicks and Mason vaguely on the play Jarrell Graves on the Kerry peroxide yeah all shaded to the left side of the field not quite all the way to the left Ashley when you look out there you got Carter Hicks Brandon Jackson a lot of them hands on their hips they've been working real hard tonight try to get this win good comeback took the lead on a two-point conversion now you're trying to get a stop inside your own 10-yard line backs into keeping himself he's going to run to the right side he's going to get tackled don't think he's going to have enough for the first down there's a lot of moving Parts over there third down and one good job by the Eagles making that stop couldn't see you from over there though you really couldn't see the roxanna's numbers at all third and one I'm gonna say they're gonna run the ball to the right singing I don't think that's him back there oh yeah it is 24 third and one from the three it's gonna be good up the middle not going to get into the end zone though no motions by any official they're going to call him at the half yard line keeps the clock ticking now it's going to be a first and goal from the one foot line [Applause] if I'm Roxanna I am snapping the ball at two seconds every play on the play clock you could give the ball if you score here you could give the Eagles the ball back with three minutes left if you play your time smarter four minutes left [Applause] we're gonna try to get up the middle and I believe they are going to get into the end zone still no motion still no motion for anything they're pulling guys off the pile and I think they're going to say they're short they're still not saying anything wow still no motion and let's say that they just lost a yard on the clock they can't get the ball much closer now the clock's getting eaten up and if they do score Eagles are going to need uh every second they can have [Applause] muff snap here great job Dominic vaguely stepping up tackle and it's going to be another loss of one this place should be loud right now are you kidding me some of these snackers we're making how in the world does Dominic Bailey make it back knows the snap count and runs back we're down how nice would a moth snap be right here enough snap left hand off fumble big hit rewind let's get another stop fans are starting again there we go it hurt me I think they heard me a little bit should have been like this all night whenever we had fourth and goal s they're going off to him he's gonna run to the right side and get into the end zone for a touchdown number five Roxanna so now that takes a score 27-22 I think we're gonna have to go for two here if you're roots in if you kick a few Pat you're only up six I think I go for two because you're only going to beat is up six right now I don't know I think I might kick it because then I mean if you don't get your three-point conversion game's over if Columbia scores all they need is a touchdown because you've already blocked two two kicks tonight I might try this little Wildcat for me if you want what they are gonna kick it [Music] [Applause] 10 seconds on the play clock they're gonna have to hurry up a little bit they got the proton down there though they can see it still a lot of moving Parts it's a bad snap and it's going to be picked up by the Eagles and that should be a dead ball on a pat that's a dead ball yeah so no good so that's still a huge play for the Eagles as that takes the Amanda Maguire group scoreboard Roxanna 27 Eagles 22 457 remaining in the ball game that I think like I said Jared they didn't even attempt to kick it so with that it's just a live ball film we saw that against Waterloo whenever Wetzel kind of muffed the snap and he got absolutely decked and his knees on the ground so I mean as a holder I mean that just scares me sometimes because if they mop the snap and their knee they're literally on their knees if you have guys coming in trying to kill you basically so I mean I don't know probably scarier but so coach Kendall's gonna have to uh get something good going right here the last uh P or the last kickoff went well for the Eagles so let's see if we can get that good field position once again and then you got to decide if you're coach Horner are we going to go for it right away are we going to try to eat up some clock I will the shells haven't shown that they're going to kick the onside kick man can't imagine they do it now they're going to kick it 98 of them I need for an entire volunteer we'll see the Eagles now have two men back deep to make the uh return I think Brian's that other one over there they're gonna go down the middle of the field and it will be caught Russell's gonna try to run to the left side they've like had a lot of success over there tonight they're going to get a little bit more they're going to get to the 34-yard line where they're going to take over yeah with 450 remaining and 70 we'll call it 65 yards between them thank you all for listening thanks for telling us where you're coming from listening from this good Goku conference game here tonight all right got ourselves a ball game Alex [Applause] a lot of slow start this morning or this first half but been a good second half for us here tonight tight end right sniffer back right five guys at the line of scrimmage now it's gonna be a bad snap humbled a loss of 10 on the play I don't know if vaguely was wanting to run before he got it or what the deal was but it's going to be a big loss on the play Cameron Janet comes off Hicks comes off as does Nick Janik Mason vaguely comes onto the field now [Music] Mason vaguely goes to a wide receiver you're gonna have believe it is Copper Mill nope Bryant in the backfield he's going to be your motion man now it's an empty backfield it'll be a double pass it's going to be caught by Mason they're going to throw the ball over to vaguely he's going to catch it he's going to have a man downfield that's a great block by Schnabel a great play by Don vagley a great play call by coach Warner what a ball by me got ourselves a third down and three I know coach Warner in his head whenever Mason was because you had two guys over here trailing Dom you I know coach owners Mason please throw this with an extra extra little uh strength great great job there but a little brother throwing it to his big brother there what a play there by the Eagles that was awesome gain of 17 19.
I think we had a 22 there so now it's a third and two [Music] now you got to get that first down going up the Middle with Cameron janick he's got the first down hold on to the football it's a first down for the Eagles at the 48-yard line for 357 remains down for Columbia in the ball game and I noticed that too I saw Mason don't really play wide receiver that much and I saw him go to that side I was like oh I think I know what's coming [Music] quick you knew you knew this coming too because as soon as you saw him over there you were making the pass motion with your hands good play there for the Eagles First and Ten ball at the 48-yard line all three timeouts remaining tight end right sniffer back right pistol back's gonna be the motion managenic it's going to be a play actually quarterback's just going to keep it himself he's going to get two maybe three his hands gain of three gets it into Shell's territory ball now Michelle's 49 yard line I'm still ticking too so I think coach Horner is definitely trying to score with under a minute a minute left in this game and not give them much time to do anything same formation ball in the right hash just going to be hand off to Janet and he's going to be too quick Blake wasn't able to get out and clear that man out looked like Janet just ran in front of like [Applause] it's a loss of about two or three there so now we got about what 30 third and eight here [Applause] Bryant comes onto the field now here's your running back Cameron Janet comes off this is your second one he doesn't know we gotta get set roll up oh we didn't get set but that's okay they didn't call it vegan's gonna have to make something happen he's got the middle of the field I mean he's got it oh Carter gets nearly made the catch they throw the penalty flag on the play and that is a tough tough penalty there the Eagles are going to take it though I don't think yeah I don't think we had guys on the line enough guys online scrimmage ass interference on the defense tough call there eagles will take it I think that's both guys right there going for the football yeah the official gave it to the Eagles though and Nick still almost came up with it dude I think that his office helmet whenever he fell down to the ground couldn't find the ball really so the yard penalty that'll be a first down the Eagles got First and Ten [Applause] ball is at the 50-yard line so they're going to have to figure out so I think Roxanna that's one of the things that it's going to be on the Eagles but they're just going to the 50 to mark off the 15 yards [Music] [Applause] so that'll be a first down for Columbia 219 remaining in the ball game foreign Eagles now have the ball at the 35-yard line well at the 35 219 remaining in the ball game Eagles are going to have everybody in tight doubles tight running back to the left side gonna be another pass play Vegas looking to the left zionics stopped throwing and had he kept moving there would have been a little bit of an opening there but instead Falls in brings up a second and 10.
not going on [Music] [Applause] the clock stops at 2 15. [Applause] person kind of gets to think about what he wants to call here trips to the right side ball in the middle of the field tips to the right side running back gonna be a roll out to the right with vaguely he's going to look for Russell can't get it to him right he's gonna have to make something happen he's going to throw it and it's going to go incomplete he was looking for Yannick down the field and now we got third down and ten and you saw on the sideline there was a short route I didn't see who it was it might have been [Music] couldn't really tell but he was playing between Dom and his wide receiver that corner was and he didn't know if Dom was either going to take off so he needs to go after Dom or if he wants to stay on his guy and he'll stay on his guy and that forced down to throw it down field bring up third and ten so it's going to be empty backfield now trip to the right side doubles to the wide side of the field they're going to send a Blitzer to the left side bagley's looking across the middle and it's going to fall incomplete and the play of the game is going to be right here foreign but bad ball brings up in fourth and ten two minutes and four seconds remaining in the ball game you didn't really lead him there they're kind of behind him two or three yards but see what coach horns got up his sleeve again I've seen two kind of wild plays so same formation once again here for the Eagles for the shells right now Roxanna what are you gonna do here what's your uh I mean you gotta have the ball the best best player's hands um number 12 has got gotta get gotta get the ball in his hands but you also got to get 10 yards down field so I think something that's worked all night is those rollouts that we've seen uh with down vaguely getting out in open space and if he's got an open shot down field take it so I guess I guess we'll see what Horner's uh drawing up here but in my opinion 12's either winning this game or losing this game thank you fourth down and ten what you think right now this is a good ball game we expected a good game we knew Roxanne's didn't come in they were going to be physical they were going to test us and they have done everything they could Columbia is going to have to uh make a play here in the game and roxanna's gonna have to try to make a play to end it too [Applause] [Music] [Applause] nobody but him in the backfield can have trips to his right doubles to his left empty formation [Music] right here for the Eagles gonna have to step up in the pocket he does he's got a mend down the middle of the field it's Yannick and it's going to fall in complete he has the guy where we wanted him and it just goes about a foot too far and it falls in complete you still have all your time out so minute 57 still got to be able to make a stop here if you're the Eagles defense [Applause] and down through a perfect ball and Janik was there was no one probably five seven yards from him straight to his arms first down for the shells now 157 left in this game [Applause] so the Eagles defense got to make a stop here like you said that's what you wanted right there had him where he needed them [Applause] great job there guys I mean he goes back steps up into the pocket good job by the Eagles making a little bit of a pocket there for him and I was wrong I thought we'd see vaguely kind of use the wide side of the field on that left side that I guess Horner's mind he doesn't want him thrown across his body if he's going to roll out to that other side but um yeah great job of him stepping up in the pocket and giving his wide receiver a chance just couldn't come up with a catch that would have most likely won the game [Applause] so 157.
[Applause] up to Middle gain of five time out for the Eagles only five seconds run off the clock so Roxanna if you get a first down here game's over we all know that but you never know a bad snap like we saw earlier with that quarterback taking a knee right after um [Music] but you know they're not going to throw the ball so you're gonna we're gonna have the clock running on one of these plays they're not going to take it into the air so the clock's going to run at least one right there I'm going to number 24 Evan what is it Evan Wells yeah that last drive that they had he probably had about I'd say eight to nine carries probably and he's just picking up probably four or five yards of at least a carry so I'm definitely running that with him but they uh we're banking on him tonight [Applause] second five ball at the 40.
thank you [Applause] one more play and the Eagles are going to call timeout right away then just try to save as much time as possible everyone up to the line of scrimmage for the Eagles they're going to go up the middle just to the left side going to be Schnabel once again makes it stop again four seconds off the clock this time you guys on the Gary stuff by number 57 Mason Schnabel I'm usually on these plays your safeties are coming up because you know it's a run so don't fall asleep here on third down because if they do a little play action and you think it's run run run run um because this could be the end of the game right here if they pick up four yards and get a first down um but if you're if you're a safety coming up you cannot let anyone get past you because one play action they can throw it over your head I mean they could score right here um so you gotta you got to be smart oh [Music] [Applause] [Music] some people fly a lot already but never know in high school football anything can happen [Applause] here come the shells out on the field trying to get a first down and walk out of a cochlea conference week one for the Eagles the W for the shells okay the biggest play of the game right here to the right side it's gonna be a loss of seven on the play good job by the Eagles defense they're gonna call one more time out that's going to be another four yards on the play [Applause] it looked like I couldn't really tell who made that whole play happen but fourth down now with the with the clock stopped you got to think that roxanna's gonna punt the ball away and force us to travel downfield with only 142 left in this game and once Columbia scores you most likely win the game depending on how much time is left on the clock so we'll see uh what Roxanna does here but I would definitely definitely definitely think they would punt here because if they wouldn't [Applause] 33-yard line so I'm definitely putting the ball away here and making Columbia travel 60 plus yards if they can get a good point away we saw a pun earlier that only went probably 20 maybe 15 yards so we'll see uh maybe we can get a block upon who knows you never know man can't snap anything yep [Applause] come on all right Punk hits off it's going to go to the left side they kicked it away from vaguely it's going to be picked up by vaguely at the 33.
he's going to run he's going to get to the 35 he's going to try to make something happen he's got he's got something on the right side he's got blockers to him in front of him he's going to make one man miss oh got himself he's at the 10. he's got Eagles touchdown Eagles that's going on no penalties on the play it is a touchdown for Dominic vagley 67 yards and I can't believe what just happened that's going on my broadcast how about Dom and Nick Vegas holy cow he had himself a wall and when coach Kendall and Coach horn and them watch that game film they had a wall set up they laid their bodies out for Don Bailey to get in the end zone there that was that was beautiful [Applause] so now the eagles only up one you're gonna have to hey I think you're gonna have to go for two here to get yourself up three yeah you have to I mean go up three they can go down and take a field goal and go to overtime but oh my goodness [Applause] that was my play of the year so far I think I was I was digging on to you Alex that was awesome so it's not all over yet we still gotta get in get that 2 conversion [Applause] wow electric playback Vegas gonna hand the ball up no it's going to be a bootleg to the right side he's got Carter in the end zone he's got Carter for the two point and it falls in complete that's all right though the Eagles now have that lead 28-27 on that Mandy McGuire group scoreboard at 121 remaining in the ball game [Applause] [Music] looks like somebody is an injured Eagle on the play so we're gonna end to a break and we will come back with that final 121 after this Eagles Take the Lead on the Manning McGregor scoreboard 28-27 .
[Music] [Applause] [Music] foreign [Music] welcome back ladies and gentlemen to the Columbia multi-purpose field where the Eagles lead at 28-27 after a huge 67-yard run by Don Begley on that punt still have an eagle down on the field right there but that's what you wanted finally got the everyone into it got the students there ready to be into it as well now but game's still not over and roxanna's got the ability they've shown that they can run the football tonight down our throat so we still got to make a stop yeah and they only got what 121 left on the clock and I mean I think coach Jermaine's probably going to throw another um safety in there like a dime package we'll see where they get the ball at because if you're Don vaguely I mean I would try not to kick it in the end zone I'm gonna try to Pooch it in the in the corner like a 10-15 yard line it makes a make somebody go recover it looks like Brennan Jackson is the injured eagle coming off the field drinking water so I'm hoping that's just cramps because we need him on the defensive and the offensive side of the football so but that's another guy it doesn't come off the field very often [Applause] so once again game's still not over I believe Roxanna has two of their timeouts so they still have plenty of time to get down the field and again they only need the field goal to win the ball game so let's get this fourth quarter going here at the end of [Applause] the good uh oh my goodness you like these intense games I don't sit there anymore I had to put my chairs Bagley has it teed up to kick off [Music] oh what he's waiting for he's gonna let that play clock go all the way down he's gonna kick it off in five seconds he sends it deep and it will be caught at the eight yard lock attack I have to get up the field now get a good wall of blockers and a good job good Pursuit by The Eagles forcing them out of the backfield and now it's going to be brought down at the 25 and that's a big play there too ball game still not over Coach Steve you gotta make a stop two timeouts like we have said before the shows don't bring water on the stop for the Eagles rainwater in for the stop for the Eagles and it was a big play right there what we needed all right Eagles shells take over at the 25-yard line three down lineman I'm playing more of a safety now not really playing up as a linebacker because they have the left side they're going to roll to the left forcing them to step back up in the middle of the field it's going to be caught by number 22 I believe brought down by number 40 Cameron Janet and that clock is still ticking I'm sorry not 22.
82. not getting out of bounds there and not burning a timeout so clock is that's it doubles this time roll out to the right side gonna be caught Eagle's got to try to keep them in bounds but they can't forced out of Bounds at the 40 good for five yards and a first down for the shelves 46 46 seconds remaining gets out of bounds Roxanna on the clock I don't know what their field goal range is if they have it that's all they need though for the victory laptop I think I'm gonna be remaining I'm going to be sending some blitzers on trade online eight yards now they're gonna have to make something not able to and it's going to be a sack all sorts of eagles in the backfield making the tackle and it's going to be a loss of 15. in the show he's gonna have to take a timeout that's what you need right there if you're the Eagles we've seen a lot a lot of weird stuff tonight the fumbles [Applause] the hello snaps there's been a lot of just things different it hasn't had much of a flow to it all over the place actually a loss of 22 on the play the second 22 36 seconds remaining in the ball game and that might have taken the wind out of sales you think maybe hopefully yeah you're telling alignment and your linebackers whoever's blitzing within your ears go get them you know what they're trying to do no I'm putting non-vegely in the middle of the field and I'm putting Mason Bagley wherever wherever else that you need to put them but I put two guys at the probably in the middle of the sticks here around the secondary but we never let anyone get behind you keep everything in front of you know try to keep them bounced because tackling in bounds now I think they are out of timeouts now if I'm not mistaken but um big second down play coming [Applause] on this drive Eagles are doing I would call it a nickel right now they got they got Ford defensive backs all deep about 15 yards they're going to look for the Hail Mary they're going to throw it it's going to fall in complete bring up a third down and 22 now [Applause] and you know they're gonna go towards the sidelines they're not going to throw the ball in the middle of the field unless you you're gonna get the first down um because if you don't get that first down that clock's gonna tick and you're gonna have to come up and Spike it now which would be fourth down and lose the game so I think that play right there that was that was the biggest stepping stone that they had to maybe getting some points out of this but [Music] to the left side running back left They're Gonna Roll the left side they're gonna have to throw and it's gonna go incomplete falls to the ground number five there for the Eagles fanatic Stefan nearly had the entertainment interception Carter Hicks forcing the throw in a hurry so now here's your now [Applause] fourth down in 22 26 seconds remaining in the ball game a good ending slow start for the eagles they had the two weeks or the week off last week we're able to play a very good second half we'll call that shot watch out for all the uh timeout here for the shows on this play you got to watch out for every year later yeah and uh and you don't want to get a pass interference call because you can't end the game on a penalty um so if they Chuck it down field just just go for the ball don't don't yeah just do anything you can [Applause] but we'll see what they got drawn up here on Fourth and 22.
[Applause] final 26 seconds here and if like you said you just got to go for the ball knock it down usually at the end of I know we've only played two games this year but I feel like at the end of the water we gained Carter Hicks made that big sack to pretty much put a good cap to the end of the game so uh I like seeing big plays in the game so I would love to sack and interception or just something nice to get everybody fired up yeah the fourth down play the biggest game from the biggest play of the whole game coming right here we'll see what happens now for the Eagles rollout for the quarterback again go to the right side he's going to Chuck it deep there's five eagles down there and it's gonna fall incomplete sir turn over on downs and that's what the Eagles needed yes sir the best formation in the game is about to be called here Victory formation for the Eagles [Applause] you just do a triple group hug right there you gotta love that those three don't really come off the field that much during uh any any game so um that was pretty that was pretty cool he's setting up the ball game was over [Applause] [Music] kids on the sidelines to Stand Up Make some noise yeah we have Eagles on for the victory formation everybody's favorite play the quarterback knee to end it on a victory so what a game we just had a slow start the Eagles had the all three what a great first half turnovers penalties giving up touchdowns where we couldn't and we shouldn't and when it all boils down to it big time players make big time plays and Big Time games the 67-yard punt return from Don vagley is what does it and that's what gives the Eagles a 28-27 victory here in week four Jared what a game yeah Alex that was uh it was a pretty fun one to call I wasn't thinking that in the first half I said I don't know if I can do this anymore because those reps were making me a little mad in that first half but um that's that second half was really good football that we just watched I mean we put together some really good drives um all starting off with Wetzel getting that big pick in the end zone then going all the way down field and capping off the score there and then they they March down the field and they score and then we're thinking here oh my gosh who's gonna have the ball ass is probably going to win um but it wasn't that case tonight well it was that case tonight because we got in Victory formation and uh don Bailey just that part return I'm gonna be watching that tonight that's for sure what a ball game we had and it was a lot of fun guys did a great job resiliency is the word that I'm going to use and the adversity they battled it and they were able to come out they got the victory they improved to three and one on the season one and on the Cahokia conference and that's always like we said in the aces wild pregame so that's what you got to do you got to get off and get started and we were able to do that so with that we're gonna end this one we're gonna say the Eagles did what they needed to do they came to multi-purpose field and they got themselves a victory they improved the three and one for Mr Nickerson the high school students that we had back here helping us on the cameras in Columbia First Responders police EMS and fire thank you to the fire department for setting up 1929 the ladder truck thanks for letting me go up in it I guess it has to go up we had a lot of fun in the pregame show and we kind of like this pregame atmosphere that we have yeah it's fun so it's a lot of fun so it's able to uh have fun because if you are sponsors and you are our Watchers so make sure you go to uh whether that be Facebook YouTube get that like button hit the Subscribe button and watch us every week on kchs for Mr Nickerson for Mr Jermain I'm Alex Schlemmer see you next week go Eagles baby foreign [Applause] [Music]
hello everyone and welcome to Stockton University we are going to chat a little bit about our dual credit offerings here at Stockton as well as just some general information about Stockton University so let's get started some general info we are located in Galloway New Jersey so we are located on 1600 Acres of the Pinelands National Reserve we are home to over 9 000 undergraduate and graduate students I like to say that we're a medium school with a small size Feel Again keeping those classes small about a 17 to 1 student faculty ratio what you're seeing here is again that Galloway campus it is beautiful and it is what a lot of folks think of when they think of Stockton so come on down and visit if you haven't already and discover all that Stockton has to offer we also do have another campus over in Atlantic City and this is what all the hype has been about recently everything you're seeing here was just built in 2018 so we have our residential hall and our academic building there right over right steps away from the Boardwalk from the beach from the ocean and we do have another residence hall that will be opening up in Fall of 2023 so some really exciting things happening over in AC for our students I did just want to go over our different schools here at Stockton we have over 160 different areas of study that's including Majors minors certificates some excellent dual degree programs for students to start their undergraduate and even go into pursue a master's degree as well so lots of different options I did just want to put all of our different schools up there if you head on over to our website stockton.edu you can see all of the different areas that students have to study Within These different schools again many different areas from business to Education Health Sciences I mean and everything in between so certainly go ahead and check out all of those different areas because chances are if you're interested in it we most likely have it here at Stockton but without any further Ado I did just want to get into some benefits of earning dual credit through Stockton University and really just dual credit um in a nutshell so you can earn college credits while you are still in high school again doing so really allows students to enhance their skills to be successful at the Collegiate level um so I think time management critical thinking problem solving study skills communication creativity and following directions you can challenge Yourself by again taking those accelerated college level courses that demand your highest level of performance while getting confidence that you are prepared for college because again you are starting that while you were even in high school and of course probably the biggest benefit that a lot of folks think of is saving time and money by entering college with completed credits and possibly even shortening the time it takes to graduate here at Stockton we are very generous in our transfer credit um even for our first year students so folks that are coming out of high school we do take up to 64 credits and that can be a mix of these dual credit courses and even some AP courses that you may be taking so again just a few of the the real benefits of being a dual credit student another huge kind of perk of being a dual credit student is the cost in transferring of credit so student participating in a dual credit program will received a reduced tuition rate and that's about a hundred dollars per credit we are on a four credit based system here at Stockton so that's about 400 dollars per course here at Stockton with all additional fees waive and just to kind of compare that a normal four credit course here at Stockton is usually over two thousand dollars so you are saving so so much by getting that done while you are in high school now if you're a student coming from a family and you've received free or reduced lunch you can actually earn dual credit for free so again even better than that 400 if you are participating in free or reduced lunch you can earn your dual credit with stocked in for free and then just a little bit about transferring credits I know our our students are always looking to go ahead and kind of see how well what I'm doing now really benefit me in the future there are two really great resources that I just wanted to point out there is New Jersey Transfer that's ndatransfer.org where you can plug in your credits um this is really within the New Jersey school system so think to your schools four-year schools kind of all coming together on one website where you can see how what you're doing will go ahead and benefit you so you can plug in any coursework there we also have something here at Stockton so if you're taking dual credits in high school and you know that Stockton is your goal that you are looking to go here for your for your degree you can go over to stockton.edu transfer and check out our degree Works platform you can actually plug in what major you're interested in and plug in any dual credit or AP coursework that you've completed to see how it will plug into your degree so again really transparent in our transfer processes for our transfer students of course but also for our first year students earning dual credit so steps to becoming a dual credit student it really is this easy check it with your high school to find out which courses are a part of the Stockton dual credit program um and ask them how to sign up so if those courses are not been worked into your schedule um see the opportunities to possibly do so two you can complete the online dual credit application and I will give you some further resources on that in just a moment you will register for your stocks and dual credit courses by November 1st and if applicable make your payment for those dual credit courses so this is kind of our step-by-step play by apply to becoming a Stockton dual credit student and any questions about dual credit you can actually head over and contact Sean Manuela she is our administrator who takes care of all of our dual credit students here at Stockton we do have her email up there as well as our dual credit website where you can see exactly again how to apply how to become a part of this dual credit program while you are in high school and I did just want to throw out a few different opportunities that we have exclusively for our dual credit students if you are a senior completing some dual credit courses we will be sure to invite you to our sneak peek Stockton week this is something we just kicked off last year but it actually gives you the opportunity again if you're a senior to come to Stockton and sit in a real Stockton class so you really get a feel for the students maybe even the area that you're looking to study so that's a really exclusive program again just for our dual credit students as well as our dual credit visitation day we did Just Launch this again last year and I put a little photo down in the bottom corner as well but we really we filled our huge Sports um building with all sorts of programs and activities exclusively for stocks and dual credit students from really all over New Jersey um so you'll get to connect with students from other schools take a tour enjoy some of our campus Cuisine while you're here as well so lots of exclusive opportunities so again any questions do let us know Sean is an excellent resource and you can also let us know in the admissions office if we can help in any way thank you so much and I hope you learned about Stockton's dual credit
it's called budget hearing order Pam King signal call a thief yeah fog present Hemphill yes Nolan yes rabe Gorman here the only thing on is to review the budget changes so same that I presented last month um revenues expenditures were balanced it was on display for 30 days and then no one came and asked any questions so not one not one there were no changes any questions is there any public comment regarding the efe 110 CTE budget nope move to approving then is that good it's a roll call microphone here president anfield here Nolan here an hour right with Gorman here are we need a motion a second to approve tonight's agenda so moved second yes bulk yes anfield yes Nolan yes Gorman yes please join us in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic of which it stands one nation under God indivisible with liberty dresses from thank everyone for coming out tonight those viewing elsewhere nice night out so we'll make it quick so we can get back outside Dr Stern given yes thank you for coming tonight um we have a couple of our graduate students here welcome um we also have our Union representation thank you for being here members of the community and athletic director Jessica who will be presenting On Athletics and activities oh it wasn't public comment Dave good evening uh on behalf of the cea I want to say thank you to the board of education and administration uh for your time on negotiating our new contract I appreciate the collaborative effort on both sides and getting a new contract done and I you know we hope that will lead to retaining quality and attracting quality Educators so thank you for your time and efforts we appreciate it you're welcome thank you Dave all right next we need a motion in a second to discuss and approve the consent agenda someone's second um in your packet you have a more lengthy Finance memo there's a few other things added than my normal monthly stuff uh revenues and expenditures are um in your packet revenues are at 6.34 compared to 5.09 a year ago expenditures are at 11.8 percent compared to 10.38 um a year ago impact fees we received 314.19 for 14 new home starts and then we also got transition fees for seven thousand two hundred ten dollars our bills payable report for September are normal for September September is always the largest bills paid month that's coming back from the summer um everyone's kind of getting back caught up and then um it's just yeah massive our audits for both Central and Northern Kane are still in progress there's a few things still outstanding like our asset schedule from the appraisal company a few other new reports that we're going back and forth on so it's taking a little bit longer we're going to probably file extensions just to make sure that we take our time and I have time to review it before we sign off on it um so you probably won't see that next month but maybe in November um there's some new grants that are out there that are opening up two of them that kind of caught our eye that we think that one of them I know for sure we can we're going to apply for and and probably will get um there's the school maintenance project Grant we've been doing it for the last couple years it's a 50 000 match um they'll give us 50 000 we have to at least spend fifty thousand we currently have the one open week we did Central Middle School and High School windows with it two years ago completed that one now we're I'm in the process of doing literally Lakes generator so now I think we're just basically going to write the same grant for hbt's generator and just knock that one off the list too um the rebuild Illinois capital program they've appropriated 100 million dollars for Early Childhood grants um and reading that lengthy Grant application from a totally different obviously not ESB or state related but um it's more for building new Early Childhood centers and big construction type things but in there there's the words equipment so we were thinking we could try to apply for some playground equipment that might be more um for the little three and four-year-olds and get them at the elementary school so we're going to do our best to apply for that and see if we can kind of um get that funding for us as well and then um Central 301 right now we have a letter of credit with the federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago they hold part of our collateral not all of it but just some of it um we're going to move that back on to like old seconds books and Harris will be the custodian of that collateral as a third party we're doing it with Northern canes um and I think it's just it's just something it's just one person different it's not anything it's not going to affect our collateral or anything like that so um after tonight's meeting I'm going to kind of move shift back to that looks DNA for home starts remain about the same that will be well over 200 new permits again this year if it looks like it's going to funnel a previous year's pattern we're only eight homes off of our highest which was two years ago for this same period of time right mm-hmm let me slow up a little bit with the market but I'm still pretty active thank you well yes I'm Phil yes Nolan yes yes Gorman yes vaccinated Motion in second to discuss and approve the tenanted budget so much second your board package should have a budget that looks like this tentative budget it's the detailed Excel spreadsheet it has every single section of the budget goes through every single line item in the budgets our working budget that we use in the finance department and we use it in payroll and kind of the behind the scenes part of it if you have any questions on it I can go through it later but there's a lot of information there but I just kind of wanted to present to you some of the highlights so tonight we're just doing the tentative budget going to ask you to approve this tenant to budget and it's going to be on display for 30 days it already is in the newspaper and then October 18th which is Tuesday because we have to have our 30 days is when we'll present the final budget with revisions and we'll have a hearing at 5 45 for that that one so we're pleased with FY 22's outcome these are kind of the bullet points of some of the going through the budget of what I kind of saw when I was going through it um after coming off of fy21 and covet all the covid stuff we're kind of getting back on normal Revenue succeeded expenditures and all funds except for the tort fund um last year we projected that the Ed and O M funds would have had deficits didn't hold true some of the reasons we got extra money in our Levy our Levy came in more than what I had originally projected and then our national school lunch program that we did the free free summer meals we got over a million dollars more than what I budgeted which is crazy um and then our athletic and registration fees were up I think just we didn't know how many kids would come back in sports and all that stuff jumping in so in the O M fund our corporate personal property tax came in higher than than budgeted um and so because the O M fund had extra Surplus I was able to move some of the ebf from the Ed fund to the O M fund so I kind of just evened out the the funds that way um the tort fund had a workers comp refund for over ninety one thousand dollars it was from like 2013 14 and 15 claims it was like three years that because we were really good with our work comp claims they gave us the pool gave us money back so that was totally unanticipated on the revenue side but then our legal bills and our insurance property insurance went way up so that ate up that 91 000 and then put us in that deficit um still pleased with how it all came out um and it the tort fund you'll see that I'm working down that fund balance anyway because it's kind of creeping up to close to a year so this would actually help that um and FY 22 all of them all the funds landed with positive numbers so nobody had a had a negative um fund balance these reserves kind of help us you know for future exactly what happened with covid we were able to sustain all of our stuff and not cut anything any programs and coming up down the road you'll see that our enrollment is just forever and growing that we're going to have to do something with our buildings and stuff so building up some of our fund balances in the o m capital projects funds will help try to offset some of the borrowing we might have to do um some of the projects that were completed last year we finished the windows and frames at CMS in the Central High School front we got mobiles at the Elementary's and got those up and running CT and PK's cafeterias got expanded and there's still a little bit of work being done on those but majority of the work has been done and then we did um HVAC upgrades throughout the district and then finally you have a question yes so when those projects go from one budget year to the next are those will that all be allocated to last or did was that ever cut off on June 30th and like that's then continued over into this correct kind of budget that's how it is if it crosses the bills paid up until June 30th yes okay because we're Cash basis anything we pay in up to June 30th we that goes in that fiscal year so I think um I think the cafeteria have 200 000 left over to spend so um and then one of the things it might be in one of my future slides but we used Esser funds the Federal grant that we got we had an sr2 and an sr3 Grant we used all of sr2 to for the mobiles and the cafeteria expansion and then what it didn't cover in that fund or in that Grant we moved to sr3 so we used as much as we could out of sr3 was a little bit more complicated you had to use so much for um like remediation and interventions and you had to use so much for some kind of curriculum stuff and you had like there were certain buckets that you had to meet so all the buckets that were optional or extra we definitely used for those projects so almost all of that was paid for on the federal grants and not out of ours and then anything that we could pay early like a lot of the schools got their school supplies for this school year and they paid for them in May and June just to kind of get that up and running it's just out of the way the tuition bills Mid Valley we always pay early just to we know those numbers so we can capitalize on that this slide hasn't changed and since probably I created it which is kind of our philosophy obviously the top top is for the students needs whatever they need for instructions whatever the teachers need to be able to instruct the kiddos to be able to learn we want to keep our fund balances um adequate and then be fiscally responsible with all of our purchases when we we do our budgeting um budget considerations these are the key points kind of the most expensive areas that drive the budget on both the revenue and the expenditure side our top revenues come from local property taxes we don't have very we don't have very little commercial so it basically all falls on local property taxes and then the evidence-based funding is um is vital for us so we definitely need that money and then like I said earlier the sr2 grants and stuff we used for most of those projects so that was able we were able to not use our own local funds using those up the expenditure side's salaries and benefits there were people people company so obviously that's going to be our biggest thing and then our curriculum instruction needs and then the last two kind of just our capital projects we're always trying to make sure that we're staying ahead of our our buildings and making sure that they're clean and safe for staff and students and then the operating cost is it's just amazing it's hard to predict this world we're living in with the gas prices going up and natural gas and electricity and then Cappy paper shortages and things like I never thought we'd be talking about are happening so it's kind of if you we we need copy paper we had a bid and they weren't following through so my choice would be to pay a little bit more somewhere else to get it because we need it those are things you can't plan for so um we're kind of we did get it so all the teachers were very happy about it but from here from the original bitterness um so I think just the supply chain shortages and stuff those were kind of you we don't know and with some of those things they may not be here in time like we may think we're going to get this generator for instance it takes 18 months to get here so eight so it might not even hit this year it might be next year so it's kind of hard to project with that kind of stuff um this is our sources of revenues uh you they're sorted out by local state and federal I just kind of put down the ones that fall under each bucket um it you can I'm not going to read it all to you but you can see the local property taxes our lunches athletic fees are in the local the state is our ebf and then a bunch of Grants um and then the federal we have our national school lunch all of our title grants are Medicaid and then those special ed grants are in there um and then the the sr1 was done we've used it all up sr2 and three they're one-time grants we don't they don't keep happening so those were just one and done so for Revenue assumptions you can kind of see I kind of broke it out in five different categories our local taxes um I projected 50 of the distribution coming in the fall 50 in the spring kind of goes 48 51 it all kind of varies I'm kind of back to the 50 50 just because it seems like they're giving us more in the spring than what I normally project our local taxes are projected come in about 56 million dollars so that that is for that slide evidence-based funding we are projecting it at nine million sixty six dollars and 540 we got new tier money of 1.5 million dollars the years prior we only got about 200 000 or 167 000 I think very minimal but because we moved from tier two to tier one that me that makes us so tier one is the one that gets all like all of the funds tier two it's like 10 of whatever's left over from the 90 goes to tier one and then of that ten percent then you get a little piece of it so because we moved down which sounds bad um it's not it's just that we're getting the calculations have our enrollment because our enrollment's growing and it takes into effect your local capacity Target which is a lot of um we're heavily reliant on our local funds there's no commercial to kind of offset it so there's a whole bunch of different variables in there so it's basically showing that we're out growing faster than what we are bringing in and on the taxpayers dollars so um so yeah so that's a huge jump for us this year is that a new calculation then like starting this year no it's the same calculation but we were at I think 72 percent last year and now we're at 67 which bumped us to the lowest category okay so the goal of it is to get all the people in tier one to get them all equal so that way we're all in tier two and basically getting rid of all the tears eventually but you got to get all the tier one people like the poorer people up into the tier two and then like tier four they're they have more money than they know what to do with so we yeah become friends with those districts yeah State categoricals um same nothing's really changed with them they're they're more timely so we are getting our four payments so that's good um so I budgeted for one for the one that they owe us for this year and then three for the following year so that would be a total of four um that's what we projected in our budget impact fees I projected at 1.4 million we got 1.7 last year we got 1.4 the year before so I kind of went back to a two years ago amount it's really anybody's guesses to we keep the housing searches keep coming so um and then transition fees those ones have kind of been kind of stagnant at the 55 so I we had 54 last year at this point and 55 000 for those um so this slide just shows you the expenditure objects So within that big Excel spreadsheet there's all these different buckets um just kind of lays out the different categories that the expenditures can fall into and then this slide shows us salary benefits um 70 of the budget where all the rest of the budgets 30 so it just shows you that we're really having our salaries percent really doesn't change I think it was like 67 last year and went up to 70.
and uh all right who do I see I've got to move my screen around I see eight participants at the meeting we have Kate Julie John Spang Teresa Eddie Miranda Kenneth Wallace and Albert w-a-l-s-t-k that isn't Kevin is it yes it is Mr Russo how you doing this evening I'm fine thank you sir all right Eddie well you want to bring us up to speed on our year-end closing numbers well I'm going to share my screen can everyone see that okay thank you John um so two agenda items we have today are uh the fiscal year 22 year end financial report and then the second line item will be uh the 2223 uh Reserve draw down um update um John will give us an update on that and then we'll open it up with any questions or throughout my presentation if there's any questions I'll stop I'm gonna go to the first page it's a little bit bigger is that better is that a full page can everyone see that yes okay Eddie I think it was better before um for the screen okay I'll go back okay is that better yeah that is better okay okay thank you Kevin welcome using two screens just it looks different on mine versus uh on your on your end got it um so as we're all aware uh our budget for fiscal year 22 was 139 five eight five one five six um we used all the money as of June 30th um there were some encumbrance uh expenses you know through July and August that come in but we encumbered it throughout so there was you know the 3.214 million you see right there online item in the middle of uh encumbrance that's um that's the money that came in July and August and kind of really rectified with payroll any invoices we received for you know facilities updates or anything like that any invoices that were outstanding um so that's where I go in in the middle and you can see it right here where it said we continue to transfer line items to close the fiscal year if we needed to transfer money from one line item to the other uh we did that throughout the months um and I just made any adjustments made very similar to the grants to Grants were a little more uh are a little different because there's certain grants that have certain things that you can only do so those are things we did that's why uh this year is the first time in the last two years that we are not returning any funds if you remember we were in a pandemic we returned funds back to the city a lot of that had to do with health insurance you know in the beginning of the pandemic Transportation so a lot of that went back to the city and it's in our city Reserves um key things I wanted to we wanted to highlight last year and as we begin to open this year and I know there was a John I know you were discussing it with Teresa um you know Transportation as if you remember this time last year our transportation and shortage of drivers was it was very tough to get drivers on board getting kids to the schools were having a lot of issues as a district not just us in Danbury but across the state um actually I've spoken to a few other districts across the states and they're having similar uh issues um here in Danbury if John correct me if I'm wrong we actually been really good with our drivers and we have enough drivers and we have you know some that are you know subbing in um which is great uh number two is our overloads if you remember at the high school um we had a lot of overloads uh we ended up hiring Kelly Services to help us with the subs a lot of that had to do with uh when individuals tested positive or they were just we didn't have enough staff shortage of Staff um a teacher say I'm a teacher and I have a free period I would pick up that overload um and that's really what uh created a overload in our finance also so uh the good thing about that is the vacancies kind of helped us cover that balance there for the year and the custodial original budget um we had to move some money um last year about a million dollars to cover the custodial budget um because there was not enough there so we move some money from other line items to cover that um so that was good and this year we made sure we budgeted at least plus a certain percentage of increase this year um number four is our teacher vacancies um as I mentioned earlier it covered it helped covered our uh overloads so that there wasn't not if there wasn't enough in the general fund we went into Esser the Esser Grant to cover the rest um High School athletics uh back in the fall we mentioned and we sat down with a chip in the high school and Dan in past years they never budgeted for the three uh Seasons it was really uh just really fall winter and then spring wasn't really budgeted uh this year that changed last year we did transfer money back into their account so they had enough funds for uh spring Sports this year they have budgeted and in their budgets they know they have fall winter spring so they've uh chip and Dan and you know they've worked closely with us they know what their budget is they know what's a budget and we'll continue to monitor that throughout this throughout the year online one uh concern that if I remember um in April or May I brought to the finance committee and the board's attention that um we were alerted in April by the uh CS of the Connecticut State Department of Education that our um Magnet School Grant was reduced reason being the enrollment in the magnet school was a lot less than what was submitted back last year um so there was a shortfall of about 250 000 fiscal year 22.
um this slide kind of shows the um percentage breakdown of expenditures in the operating funds you can see the education fund is the biggest that's where all of our salaries and um basically everything's at in the ad fund and then the O M fund is right behind it it's the second biggest um Spanish assumptions you'll see a list of the major um the major ones that I kind of pulled out of the budget there's still changes occurring with our costs as we're kind of coming back from covid um we've made increases for all of our salary benefits from both the cea and the best contracts we made the adjustments for all the insurance increases and TRS and everything on that aspect uh capital projects we are budgeting for the transportation and buildings and ground facility the generators we have three or four more schools that need generators so we'll get those up and running and then the high school the central high schools track outdoor track is going to need some repairs and a whole new facelift so that's kind of what's on our docket and then the increased costs I kind of already touched based on those were kind of the hot ones that I was shocked at how much fuel and the bus leases and you can't get the buses but you're kind of stuck with you know the cost that these people are charging the Food Supplies it's just outrageous how much I mean now everything's charging a five dollar delivery charge just to get the same food here that we've been doing for 20 years so it's but we have to have food so those are kind of the the bigger topics that have been kind of sitting out there um and then these are the next couple slides are just kind of some highlights I pull out I mean I could highlight the whole entire budget but I try to just pick the same ones that I kind of do every year but this one kind of shows you a bunch of different salaries kind of broken out by the elementary middle school and high school athletics um and then your total total salaries in the Ed fund are the 31 million at the bottom there this one's kind of broken down my department I kind of just picked the food service department the special ed Department tuition and the technology budget because those were the bigger departments throughout that budget so total education expenditures are 52 million 447.
um we are also gonna probably experience the same thing come this year um to the fact that we really you know um submitted what was current we hope that you know come October 1st which is that census date if the number is a lot more then we will receive a lot more funds so we we've received the funds from the State 70 we receive in September and then the the remaining 30 we receive in April um so we're looking at you know that's something we're monitoring for this fiscal year um it looks like a shortfall of anywhere from a hundred thousand to a hundred and fifty thousand depending on what that enrollment looks October one uh so that's something that I will keep uh bringing up every uh finance committee meeting just to give you guys a heads up on that Lee can I just ask a clarifying question yes um we're talking about students coming in from other districts and choosing to enroll in this school and because it's a magnet school there's a minimum that we have to hit threshold wise we uh John was able to find out 75-25 um so 75 of our students have to be you know our Danbury students let's add 25 has to be from our outside districts on you know Brookfield Newtown Bethel et cetera Etc and and any sense um Kate brought it up I just want to interject and say we we experience a decline in enrollment from our other towns during the pandemic and everyone might recall that while other communities were either in-person learning full or at least offering in hybrid we did not have that option available to our families at that time and so this is going back to those school years and that's what's having an impact on our budgeting for this school year now so that's what 2020 2021 so 1920 school year in 2021 it probably would have been impacted 2021 I think is the year in question that's impacting this year but for the first part of that year uh we were we were uh remote and then we went hybrid in the second half and so a lot of our neighboring communities were either full in person or at least hybrid throughout the whole year so we lost a lot of um participating districts during that time students from participating districts during that time even though we wouldn't be compensated from the state we had we would have these extra seats that we could fill with Danbury students to make our class sizes a little smaller here and there yes or no so the answer is it's complicated um the answer is yes we could have uh but it also would impact ultimately our ratio and so the the easiest answer is to pack in fifth grade uh because the next year it wouldn't have no impact after October 1st uh but if we were to fill in those seats prior we would ultimately compromise funding for the following year um so October 1st is kind of you know when the enrollment is kind of supposed to remain kind of static and that's what counts toward the state so let's just say we you know added in more kindergarten first second third and fourth graders um those numbers would impact us for the following year and if that ratio is still not 75.25 with a compromised funding again it's a challenge and balance we continue to go back and forth trying to balance at the same time trying to maximize every seat thank you thank you just to let the committee know um we as a district have uh we've been brainstorming especially the last few months on um what we plan on doing are we changing the theme of the magnet school something to draw the attention um our chief of schools uh Chris uh Chris roach who's who was the principal at AIS um who's working very closely with the new uh principal over there to see um what those needs are what you know what what what a theme is is what is uh Danberry needs right now so so uh attract the outside um districts to come to Danbury so I'm going to jump right back into the the financials so the next three to four pages I'm sorry this is the summary page this is this is a breakdown of your general fund broken down by salaries benefits uh Property Services purchase Services supplies program Improvement is basically bundle up of what the financials look in the next few pages but as you can see you know our budget was 139 585 we've expended what was encumbered and giving us a zero balance no money going back and then you have your Grant report right here if you guys can see this what our grants are this also includes as we all are aware our Esser funds and and John and Eddie can you go back to that summary page for a second and so I I recall going have any discussions with the committee and some members of the full board as well last year uh because we had a number of line items that were in a negative throughout the school year and so I guess John and Eddie I guess my wondering is do you feel like after closing out the year in a zero and moving uh monies around to different line items do you feel like we're better a little better budgeted for 22.23 giving you guys experience for almost a full year last year yes more appropriately budgeted in a line items I should say the moving of you know when we I think we talked in a springtime when we were a little concerned of moving the line items and seeing where the issue was because we didn't create the budget for last year this year you know we did create the budget for this year so we know where those uh or you know those if it if the line goes over it goes under we really know what why the reason is versus last year so we feel a lot more comfortable and also as we close June 30th I think um John and I and the team really felt like okay we we identify some issues that we will look continue to look even come this year that was faced for example that custodial overtime you know yes we budgeted correctly this year but we you know I don't know if God forbid something happens with covet or whatever may happen so um we'll continue monitoring those lines as we always do but um to answer your question Kevin yeah we feel a lot more a lot more comfortable now okay thank you I think I I'd also add though um before we start making we'd like to have a month's um I don't pause before we start doing the transfers because uh we can see a lot uh this month and next month about how our how our budget is going uh particularly in the area of salaries you know we we've had quite a bit of turnover like we always do where we've brought in new staff uh people have retired and turned over uh We've budgeted uh for that uh breakage if you will but I I think if we could have enough maybe not the report that's coming up maybe we'll leave that without transfers and then the following month uh do the transfers it would help us a lot to do that foreign thanks thank you can I ask one thing how are we doing with the auditors I can address that now or we could wait till the report is finished what's your okay I'm sorry Al your your speakers are yeah if it pleases the group I I'd like to complete this report and then we'll take that up at the end uh and we will we will address that thank you please continue uh John and Eddie okay Matt may I ask a quick question it's relevant to what we're talking about right now with the breakdown from uh 2022 um much like was done with the general fund summary report where you guys are breaking it down into categories so we can see how those dollars are are being spent I wonder if we might be able to and I don't know if it's possible because I know the grants have very specific purposes um if we could do a similar sort of thing with the grants to sort of see how the grant money is being spent in the district okay that that is something we can do um very similar to the general fund um um I'll I'll sit down with John and Kevin and um create something very similar to the general fund and see if that's uh because what you're looking for is a let's use uh Alliance really out of Alliance how many um how much is going into salaries benefits etc etc correct and that's for each Grant thank you although I would be okay with just an overall an overall picture Eddie if you want to if you guys are able to provide a specifics for the alliance Grant because I know that's one of the larger ones um that's wonderful but just even a general sense of of how those grants are going out would be really helpful thank you okay the next as I mentioned the next three to four pages are your general fun line item by line item your salaries you have your assistant principal supervisor social workers custodial staff the first page is really salaries as we go into the second page you jump right into salary stops right about here where you see employee benefits which is a smart Social Security but it's a health insurance um then you have your life and Life Insurance Dental these four bundle up sorry into your 200 lines many goes into your 300 lines but as you can tell um prior to you know say six months ago we've uh we've seen that you know we budgeted correctly you know what was the year to date expenditures uh what's remaining encumbrance and then with a balanced there we go this is basically the summary this is the backup for the summary and then the next three pages are your your Grant breakdown so as you may uh mentioned Kate you would like to see something like this for all grants but say all grants and how much of that is going into salaries benefits etc etc foreign yes thank you Eddie you're very welcome it includes my updates on that do we have any other do we have any questions on this part of the report um where does the uh new Dean of the academy uh fall under or is that separate and Eddie I could answer that um of course this is the 21 uh 22 school year but for um the year coming up it will be in the sr3 and that's at Grant number 37.
