for long metal will be entering into the game you can't uh Gracie de Stefano and Sophia chiagla or siaglo I'm not really sure how to pronounce that one Chad we're gonna go with seaglo let me see lucasic again in a battle on a great job use of her body and now Green Man with the steal off of Davis Stevens comes back to support finds Davis once again Davis flying up the sideline directing traffic in front of her East longmeadow's got numbers and now lukasik has to step up and there's a whistle on the play that seems like a bit of a soft call to me wasn't too much there but a free kick long metal locks out here in kasparowski will have one as she tries to cheat up a little bit and get a few extra yards ref not having that so so looking on getting set for kasparowsky's kick and chill just send it a quick touch up to Greenman and now to charmand to Greenman towards the outside for Gracie DiStefano back inside for Ducharme and he saw metal has to clear that one out can you cassik a little shaken up on the play as she grabs her left leg and she has to chase down fighting through the pain and a shot ends up in Taylor deflorio's arms and lukasik not going down as I can tell there's a motion from the sideline for her to go down and she will not does look like she's limping a little bit definitely some pain going on over there but you know what she's fighting through it definitely I mean this rivalry chat she does not want to come out of this game yeah no uh especially after our last season with that injury um I think she's taking any opportunity to play oh absolutely Sosa a one-on-one a quick cup move back inside for around kasparowski and now on the far sideline is Megan Morneau she looks up for white and substitution will be made for some metal uh number 18 Sabina mckechner MCC will be coming in to replace lukasa because she gets a quick breather and I'm sure she'll be entered right back into the game as soon as she's ready to rock Megan morneaux in the middle of the Sosa and kasparowski steps up in a body by Sosa puts kasparowski on her back and looks like they're gonna call a penalty on that one ref's certainly not letting these teams play and get away with too much this evening I've been pretty strict on the calls we'll see how uh the flow of this game affects uh whether lucasic comes back in right away I mean if you saw Meadow starts to take a little bit of control I'm sure that they might hold her out just for safety and across goes right to Sosa and now Eastlawn metal making their way in Sosa has some space and cuts inside and runs out of real estate looking to get a shot off a little too late Abby Davis able to put that ball out and now in a long metal throw in for kasparowski kasprowski launches one off the head of Stevens looking for DiStefano kasprowski again to Greenman and that ball exits the playing field and some subs coming into the game for East Longmeadow uh during the field is uh Siobhan Gallagher and uh oh wait no I'm that's not quite right I didn't think that was right uh Ali Thompson and number 11 Emma Stevens so some new players seeing the field for the first time this evening for East Longmeadow Abby Davis the recent College commit for the throw-in and her throw-in goes right to the foot of kasparowski and kasprowsky's chip goes off of Davis in a throw in for long metal once again kasparowski on the near sideline still a 0-0 game 14-40 remaining on the game clock kasprowski launches one into the middle off of the head of DiStefano and East Longmeadow making their way some great touch passing looking for Ali Thompson on the outside and that's broken up by political pelicia foreign coming up with a huge save Islam middle catching a big break just a beautiful kick saved by the deflorio there she steps out on a guy cuts off the angle and uh makes the big save those goalie camps are really paying off for and that is why she will be entering into division one schools plays like that watch it eslam and I'll catch is a big break there as that was a prime scoring opportunity for long metal and kasparowski for the throw-in again she'll look to the sideline and ball spits all the way out Long Middle making their way inside Megan morneaux a one-on-one battle with this the final and should be a goal kick I believe yeah and it will be and substitution being made for East Longmeadow number nine Kenna Marino will check into the game and she will sub out number 10 Abby Davis Davis playing some good defense so far on this left side and she'll catch a quick breather as we hit the 1250 mark long medal powering their way up field and East Longmeadow just trying to clear the ball out a one-on-one more no little chip towards the net position and ball goes out of bounds along the goal line goal kick Roman and yeah number five fantastic we'll be out checking back into the game for just Jordan steps out so lucasic move back a little bit we'll help a little bit more on the defensive side of things Roman sends that one and it goes off a foot Islam Meadows throwing just around Midfield on the far sideline yeah I believe she'll just uh stay and play a little bit of defensive midi I mean we'll see how aggressive she'll get and Sosa looking for tallas has got some room and why not just rip a shot and it is blocked down by Daigle of Longmeadow Stevens looking out wide to mckechny and that ball goes out of bounds off of a long metal player Megan Moore know to throw it in Sosa touches it around Emma Sosa's got some room beats a player puts inside looking for a shot now Ali Thompson with the ball Atop The 18.
he's probably not very quick but he's gonna put his head down he can run the numbers second down three yards to go the second three Mason vagley gets credit with the tackle there the sophomore stepping up and the defensive back position even look at that running back back there he looks like a lightning yeah he does he's going to be the pistol back this time they're going to pull to the right side with two lead linemen let's call it and he's gonna get enough for a first down he was way down whenever the ball popped out officials didn't even get excited and blow the whistles again first down by number two Carter once again thank you to the Columbia quarterback Club putting on the the pregame tailgate for homecoming here 50 Years 1972 team is going to be honored in between the first and second quarter running back to the right side this time they're gonna hand it off to him once again he's going to run he's going to get hit by look like Carter Hicks there and he's going to get the tackle a gain of three hits in on the tackle again Carter got him a little high there and you know Carter's 6'5 trying to get down and get that little guy might be tough but slow Wildcat to get up might have been the running back I couldn't really tell what number it was for 84 I believe looks about the same build as 84.
looks for Stevens Stevens towards a far post and Sosa chases it down but Reynolds comes out and stops the party some good ball movement from Eastlawn metal but they just can't seem to get a shot off yeah absolutely they're starting to pick things up um maybe creating some more opportunities for themselves on offensive side of things they just need to put some balls on net now and uh hopefully bury one and now ball stolen by Greenman she's setting it up a quick give and go play with the Stefano de Stefano touching it inside beats Stevens looking outside for Greenman and a shot on net and deflorio pounces on it that shot came from the foot of Ducharme of Longmeadow from a pass from Greenman after some nice ball work down low and up a punt to Midfield Sosa and Stevens but keckney also involved and another looks to be handball and long metal will have a free kick just around the Midfield marker heading in the direction of the Florio thank you student sectioned and the rest of the stands starting to fill up a little bit more this evening would like to see some more people show up and show their support long Meadows kick from vanco yeah also uh happening right now you saw metal football versus uh West Springfield side a head ball from Greenman and it goes out of bounds a goal kick four to fourio sorry for cutting you off Chad it's all right all right we had a little bit of an opportunity some subs coming in here for long metal number 18 and number four uh McKenna Reynolds will be coming into the game Kevin McCarthy as well and McCarthy so some new players seeing their first appearance of the field tonight for Longmeadow Stevens kasparowski and Reynolds sending it up the line to DeStefano and that ball trickles out of bounds accidentally testifano a little bit upset about that one and Mourinho with the throw in into heavy traffic and a kick by Ducharme Tia Talis looking to make some space kasparowski working with Ducharme and she can't find her foot Ali Thompson sending it back lukasik is going to do a nice job and clear it out killing some along medals momentum once again lucasic stepping up on vanco Ali Thompson a little bit of a shoulder to shoulder Ally Thompson with a good steal and she'll switch fields to Stevens broken up by kasparowski now long metal heading the other way beats her Defender DiStefano looking to turn the hips across deforio comes out and Scoops up inside her own six deflorio's punt as I believe she does have some wind in her face this evening so uh the punts in the goal kicks won't go as far as she might like to but I can see the corner Flags and the American flag blowing in her Direction and now a through ball looking for Steven Stevens gains possession and a nice play by kasparowski again Reynolds stolen by Kenna Moreno Moreno a cut move inside looking for a teammate and mckechny tries to step up Mourinho and now it's a nice give and go passing as Ducharme sends the ball up here looking for DiStefano and it exits the playing field as Kenna Marino will hustle on back and prepare to take her throwing [Music] sub coming in now for East Longmeadow Tia Talis will exit the game and I'm not sure okay man and a bit of a hustle Megan Morneau goes down along with DiStefano and the fans are not happy about that one kind of miss it as I was looking for who's going into the game it was a little bit dramatic yeah a little little bit of a you know they gotta put on a show I guess Chad you know looking for some fouls there and now a big slide tackle [Music] biolumastic that wasn't as dramatic and there is a long metal it's a long metal player down on the field seems to be good enough slow to her feet a little bit of turf friend or I don't was that lucasic I don't think it was I think it was I'm pretty sure it was so lucasic or Merino all right one of the two is Lucas I'm gonna put my money on lookastic because that was a that was a good call so I hope it was completely lucasic move Kaylee definitely one of the aggressive players for East Longmeadow our money on her substitution being made uh number 10 for Longmeadow venko at the roster yes and uh Natalie matz comes out other way around Chad Natalie matz goes in oh vanco coming out no worries I got distracted by the Ross so a little yeah hear what I here's what I love about Eastlawn Chad they have the courtesy to put their roster in numerical order no I'm always like they're the one teams that does that that I have been able to commentate so far this year every other team nothing oh yeah I think they just like to mess with us I don't know it's not very nice you know not cool man it's more requires more work you know I'm on the weekend right now I'm looking to just kind of vacate the school zone right now that's what you know looking forward to my rental but what's that hurt in your brain yeah yeah looking forward to my it's my nice relaxing round of golf on Monday morning 9 30 a.m with with you you're coming 9 30.
they don't even add an 84 on the roster number one in your hearts it's a 64. not one of them either same formation for A Wildcats five down linemen for the Eagles Now High snap gonna be a muff of a play they're just gonna have to try to make something out of nothing and they're gonna get three yards on the game here's your third and four Jared a little short from what you talked about in that previous show third and fourth yeah it's better than last week I mean I feel like Road River would have those third ones third and twos um I mean third and four that's not bad I mean last week they were just carrying every every time they ran the ball it was probably five six yards of carry so uh tonight they're only getting about two to three so we'll see if we can keep that up all game unlike last week another pass play this time they're looking for that second level quarterbacks having to scramble and now he can't do anything he's going to go out of bounds lost on the play good Pursuit there by the Eagles looks like the antennas is slow to get up now run out of bounds by number 72 Anthony antonas Antonis gets credit with the tackle as he's still down trainers talking to him at about the 26 yard line Salem sent their punt team onto the field and you can't run a play yet you gotta wait till he's more off the sideline still laying in the white so back to that pre-game um sponsors it helps get some food down there quarterback Club donated 60 shirts to former players and alumni so if you weren't able to make it to the game get a hold of somebody with the quarterback club we can get you a commemorative t-shirt and then we would like to thank Holton Meats for their burgers tonight always a great burger and a crowd favorite Joe bacardi's for The Toasted ravs and tinies for the wings all over Colombia try to spread the wealth you know every every week I always say they support us so we need to support them and that's what the Columbia quarterback Club likes to try to do and president Ron hunsacker I did a good interview with him today too it was kind of just throwing him under the fire so with the injury on the field we are going to head to a break so before we go to that break though make sure you hit that button that says like subscribe get notifications so that whenever we go live you hear us so we will be back to the Columbia multi-purpose field right after this [Music] welcome back as soon as we went off they got Anthony to his feet wasn't putting any weight on his leg but he gets off the field so it's going to be a punt for Salem really good punt gonna be caught oh it's going to be fumbled from the 40.
yeah 9 30 a.m we're playing at Cedar now hey it's a nice beautiful 40 degree fall morning weather that we will be enduring and now Roman clears the ball looking for Stevens and Megan Morneau does a great job of stepping up on Manning more no with some space touches it inside and now a pass agreement to Sosa Sosa looking to get a shot she'll touch it in Stevens and now Sosa Sosa gets a touch and Reynolds comes up with a save oh my goodness gracious oh Tic-tac-toe and Eastlawn metal once again just can't get a clean hard shot on that they just gotta rip it down absolute chaos in front of the net none of them can really get their foot on it unfortunately just a little bit like just an easy scoop up that was at the end in a play by Stevens on this Stefano and results in a Taylor deflorio goal kick yeah that was that was a little bit chaotic but I mean Chad they had an opportunity at that point you know I know you just got a stairs with this goaltender Reynolds they've barely tested her they just got to get shots at this point you know just see what she's got yeah I guess so I mean anything anything I don't know I'll take anything at this point just like make sure like the next shot that she's like looking to get away from the shot or something I don't know I'm not sure she'll do that because her job is to get in front of the ball but of a penalty and Longmeadow has a free kick in their defensive Zone Steven steps up with Megan Morneau listen I'll take a shot off the crossbar at this point something to get my blood and now a stolen pass out this the final and Taylor Del Florio with a diving save to her right she's certainly seen some action this evening Eastlawn Metals got to get things going the other direction with Reynolds yeah he saw middles lucky to have her back in that as the last line just a really talented goalkeeper and long metal sends the ball up field mocks chasing it down and Kenna Marino is just going to screen that one out should be a goal kick and it will be two and a half minutes remaining in the first half score is zero zero thank you for joining us this evening if you are it is uh a little chilly out it's like 60 degrees but I'm nice and toasty up here in the booth it's Pleasant it's very pleasant weather it's a nice fall weather chat just over two minutes remaining in this uh first half here obviously as Brady said still zero zero game if you're just joining us um so far pretty back and forth um La Modelo has had some opportunities in Easton Meadow just had a big opportunity to bury one unfortunately could not get it so Mourinho throwing to lukasik and lucasic does a nice job of touching it in open space and she'll switch fields to Megan Morneau Morneau getting chased down and she'll cut back inside looking for someone outside the 18 and a clear goes right to the head of Morneau and Stevens kasparowski goes over the back and now Stevens is in a battle with Reynolds and kasparowski and mukasik gets chased down by DiStefano and a clear Ducharme de Stefano chasing down Roman and right to Mega mournal morneau's got some space as from a great pass from Roman through the seam looking for Sosa Sosa with a quick slide tackle Stevens chasing down Reynolds that ball will go out of bounds off of Stevens a throw in now for longmeadows captain kasparowski a little bit of a high foot there for McCarthy no call and now DeStefano long metal just the final with a quick cut move and she'll get a shot on a one-hopper into the gut of Taylor deflorio 20 seconds remaining on the game clock those shots can get a little sketchy you know they take a weird skip off the turf and uh all of a sudden the ball gets past you it doesn't make you look good so the Stefano would step up there looking out wide for Reynolds and she'll do a quick pullback move as she gets chased down by Davis now Reynolds looking inside and Abby Davis looking to clear and that'll do it for the first half score zero zero so charity what are you looking out for uh in the second half here like I said Chad it's a dog fight right now and it's gonna go into the second half deep and I I think we're gonna have a zero zero game for quite some time I agree but if Eastlawn metal really wants to you know make a statement they just gotta bury one early and then just start running away with the game you know their home turf home field um you know that they they need to sweat they they had they had a tie with long metal last time and they just really need this big win obviously yeah they just gotta go off they gotta go all hands on deck here um use a little teamwork and just create some offensive opportunities to create some pressure on this back line for Longmeadow and uh hopefully they can just get one in definitely need to start testing Reynolds I mean East longmeadows done a good job of ball movement outside the 18 but they've yet to just fire a shot on like oh yeah and just you know late in that first half I mean they had they kept going back and forth and back and forth and back and forth just ripped the ball they've been in the scoring positions and they just haven't made clear contact with the ball to put it on that here unfortunately so we're still sitting at a nil nil game there's a lot of opportunity duties a lot of chances Eastlawn metal just got to test Reynolds a little bit more as far as Eastlawn Meadows defense is gone I mean Taylor deflorio absolutely unbelievable between the pipes uh a couple big big saves I mean uh I believe it was Greenman who had the opportunity right around the mid middle of the halfway mark and I mean some some amazing saves diving saves to her right so deforio's keeping them in this game for sure yeah so far we're just setting out a defensive game somewhat back and forth at the Midfield and uh neither team has been able to capitalize on their opportunities so again we sit at zero zero and yeah I'm expecting big things from the East Long Middle offense as well as defense um looking for uh lucasic to make things happen along with uh more no you know the older the older people on the team definitely make some things going and use the speed up top you know got a younger group for sure this year I mean it's not the not the group of players I'm used to announcing obviously I don't know how many seniors they lost last year definitely lost quite a few I believe that there was only three underclassmen playing on the team so yeah I mean definitely just the new group of like same sort of situation not quite as bad as the boys do absolutely yeah absolutely and the boys suffering a devastating loss earlier today I believe foreign they're mourning their recent loss all right all right so uh that'll do it for our halftime show there's seven minutes remaining we'll see you then foreign right back [Music] I would have said a check welcome back uh to East Longmeadow High School we're just getting ready to kick off the second half me and Chad just indulged in some fine Pizza to uh stabilize our hunger and now we're ready to kick things off again I got plenty energy to go the rest of this game uh yeah zero zero and kickoff [Music] excuse me nil nil in proper soccer terms Mr uh Freeman reminded me I've been saying zero zero this entire year now DeStefano looking for mods in the middle Bridget Jordan puts mots down snaps with headbutt there Stevens looking up the line for I believe that is yeah Bella white and she's a little shaken up on the play long battle making their way a field the Stefano was on a through ball and do charme de Stefano chasing the ball up the towards the flag and an aggressive play and and these reps are literally just staring at each other damn absolutely no idea they're like waiting for the other guy to call it and Mourinho just made the club right back these guys just stare at each other for 20 seconds and they were like hey you gonna call it or am I or what's going on here they had absolutely no idea who to uh and I honestly I think that could have been a culture so I I think it was a corner kick we'll take it though so Eastlawn metal trying to make their first appearance in the offensive zone yeah not your ball number five this reflex gone but it's checked out Mourinho sending it to White and a great screen by Manning Manning's throwing to the chest of Goodrich Longmeadow making their way up field venko chasing down Tia Talis Megan Morneau with a nice move inside he creates some space looks to split the Defenders looking for Addie Jordan on the run and now back to Megan mornell Megan making her way inside of the 18 and the long metal Defender goes with the cautious route and Boots the ball out of bounds not sure who's on the far side there oh I think number three for Longmeadow Camila Daigle foreign tomorrow no and looks to be a corner kick yeah and it will be so corner kick for East Longmeadow Kaylee lukasik set to take it lucasic winding up and she'll send a heist high ball right inside top of the PK Mark I believe it went off the head of teitalis and Reynolds Scoops it up on the one hot bounce and to Stefano putting on some pressure on Roman and Stevens a little bit of a miscommunication now lukasik Talus and leave Davis on that far side now and here comes Mourinho shout out Nick torsha the man horses horses in the house torture and Sons Landscaping everybody you know give them a call give him some business torch go get the crowd fired up I believe oh yeah make sure you go uh look up uh East Longmeadow senior night I believe uh what 20 20.
two gonna give a bounce straight ahead and I think Salem's gonna recover it and I think Dom is already looking down the field took his eyes off the ball there he was trying to see what lanes were opening up all turned over to drop us all right you got to keep your eyes on that ball there Salem's gonna take over [Applause] an Eagle Terrace so I got that Eagles defense off the field which is what we needed in back on the field now I did not see who came on for answer Mr juicy I did not know so for me in front this week we're gonna send a linebacker up gonna be Five Guys three linebackers got eight guys in the Box it's gonna be a play action pass gonna throw it to the left side he's got a first down gets absolutely rolled by Dom vaguely but you got rolled from the Eagles over there look like our backside corner couldn't really tell it the number was [Music] complete couldn't tell if that was Mason or I thought it balance by number 12.
absolutely incredible 2020 and Nick torshaw with an unbelievable goal now Longmeadow making their way inside of lucasic what was that team's name pokes that ball towards the sideline and out of bounds lukasik just had to get that one out as dangerous opportunity for number 12 Goodrich of Longmeadow what was that team's name uh I have the same St Peter Marion yeah I believe it was Saint Peter Marion yeah one of the great talents of Western Nick torsha absolutely highlight real play just a real good team and the the highlight of his entire probably a high school career for being honest here uh yeah um I believe we have a score update courtesy of um he says it was 14-8 that's the last that's the last thing he said we are up 14-8 in uh West Springfield so the football team is currently up 14 to 8 as they are looking to be five in all by the end of tonight see it's Alice has some running around looking for some players a couple scissor crosses and she'll look to find and now Addie Jordan a pullback move looking for space kicks out number 14.
you couldn't tell if that was Mason vaguely or it might have been number 13 for the Eagles gonna be another run up the middle fouling behind their big linemen as their big running back he's gonna get three maybe two they're gonna give it to him I thought he had three officials give them two seconds right down by host the Eagles looks like Joe Kish Carter Hicks and caning Stein playing on that defensive line at the moment that might have been Peyton Andrews I believe number 13 on that previous play that wanted to tackle but got hit hard they're going to go up the middle nope going to bend to the outside maybe a gain or two good job by Kish fighting off his block like you said there and that's what you want yeah [Applause] I would assume a play action pass here like like they have the first couple passes and get uh one of their up backs out to the flat area let's see what Salem has drawn here Eagles lead that Manny McGuire group scoreboard with 6 30 remaining in the first quarter seven nothing Salem got the turnover on the fumble gonna be just a straight pass they're gonna throw it to the left side gonna give it up toward jump ball and it's gonna be nearly intercepted penalty flag on the play and that's broken coverage flag on the play I thought it looks real good I mean he went up for the ball that was Peyton Andrews again over there I mean he was in the right spot went up tried to High Point the ball I couldn't see any grabbing or pushing or shoving but no flag there we go waved It Off nope nope never mind we heard no flag but they're still walking it off so that will be first down and ten from looks like 11 and a half maybe 12 yard line it's gonna be a two tight end look running to the left side good job firing the gaps getting in the backfield [Applause] [Music] yeah and I was standing down there for pregame during uh the linebacker drills and kosher made me saying I mean this running back runs really hard he's gonna run straight forward so you you do not want to meet him up top by the shoulder pads you have to go no low and take his knees out um that's what Yannick did there great job of getting in the backfield shooting that Gap and that brings up a second and 12 now which is exactly what coach domain wants second 12 five seconds on that play clock send a motion man is running back and we're gonna throw a screen it's gonna be a gain of three and I'm glad that he fell over because all of our guys were sold out on the quarterback that's complete the number Carter Hicks pushing towards that quarterback and now the quarterback had to do is kind of just Loft it over Salem third down but he didn't even get back to the line of scrimmage so the original line of scrimmage and now you got third and 11 here as Joe Kish comes off looks like King Stein went on with Schnabel and Carter Hicks on that defensive line now trips to the right side running back left quarterback's Gonna Roll to the left he's gonna roll away from his blocker and throws it out of bounds hitting the Chain Gang over there passing complete gotta bring up the fourth down and it looks like they're gonna throw away from Wetzel the first three four throws that they've had they're throwing towards Peyton Andrews on that backside uh man trips right over here they're gonna go with that single side try to make a play on Peyton Andrews and they got fourth and 11.
uh Bella oh boy losing it Bella White and the ball goes out of bounds left to the Post just under 35 minutes remaining in regulation still zero zero Sosa trying to fight through multiple Defenders and pelochi I definitely just butchered that name pelicia let me see I don't know I am yeah I don't even know and now it seems a talent Mourinho towards Bella white and she cannot keep it in bounds white sprinting to try and catch up to it but was a little Out Of Reach and a free kick now those Italians like to confuse us with their loss yeah but I definitely Chad I mean I feel bad for absolutely butchering the name but um I don't you know I don't know what to do Addie Jordan chasing down Ducharme charme falls on her and routes with a shot from lucasic way outside the 18 and she'll scoop it up no problem and throw it towards the far sideline Longmeadow chased down by Emma Sosa and leave Jillian Stevens we'll just touch that one out of bounds in Longmeadow with a quick throw in Goodrich battling with Davis and Bridget Jordan stepping up now Mourinho Mourinho with DiStefano the Stefano plays it towards the middle to politia and a touch move inside matz gets taken down in a shot from Greenman and she buries it top right as she falls down with 32-52 remaining in regulation there's not much you can do there as deflorio I'm in it was just a nice cross and uh made great contact to bury it top right Jamie Greenman the leading scorer for Longmeadow buries her first of the evening and Longmeadow is now up one nothing that's the the shot you saw Meadows been looking to find all night they've had their opportunities out front and they haven't been able to get something like that so oh I guess we had the number wrong so it is one nil now I guess we had the uh person wrong who scored the goal unless oh excuse me the assist okay so accredited to Natalie Matt's number 17 on the assist goal scorer agreement now East Side metal this this is where they're gonna show their grit and how they can come back from a one-nothing yep deficit here they they're gonna they've just gotta power through good team answers the goal with a goal so uh they gotta fight back here and and try and get one and a quick adjustment on the clock to 32-19 and now Mourinho playing it to White and mots mats and Mourinho on the sideline goes out of bounds a quick throw in now as long metal makes their way back off field Manning Bridget Jordan blocks that one down Emma White [Music] going down on the play Bella White now DiStefano a quick hit and ball or excuse me out of bounds and throwing for Manning Mourinho her pass gets broken up and good rich looking for mats up the sideline and she's just a little bit out of the juice can't quite catch up to it still a lot of time on the clock Chad I mean a lot of time for East Longmeadow to get some momentum going and bury a couple before the end of regulation I this game is not over it's far from over things can change in an instance just one goal and they've got a really good team a lot of good leadership I'm expecting big things out of the seniors leading this somewhat younger of a team offensively and some subs checking into the game number 23 Ali Thompson number six Megan morneaux will be coming into the game replacing number 14.
I like doing this with you Jared I would never catch on that they threw away from Zach every time so you you bring A New Perspective and you pay attention [Applause] so fourth and 11. 448 remaining in the first quarter trips to the left side ball in the middle of the field running back left they're gonna stretch it out wide to the right side he's got to get 11. he's doing a fun blood as well Eagles are going to finally knock it out of bounds luckily at the five and that's the fourth down Columbia take over imagine that goes into the end zone and they land on him thank you so after the turnovers we will be celebrating 50 years of Columbia football Eagles are going to take over now it's their own five please report to the West End Zone area on the trap with about four minutes left in the first quarter so we can recognize everyone between quarter one and Quarter Two you just heard on the intercom honor and all on this homecoming night who played previous seasons 1972 is the first team 50 years ago so pretty neat little feat here for Colombia vaguely is going to be back in the backfield by himself he's going to run he gets through one guy he gets to the second level now the third level turn on the burners they're down get going he's at the 50.
of Bella White and number two Addie Jordan will be checking out of the game and I'm liking the three up top right now with Megan Moore no I mean she's a beast and she's got a lot of speed as well so um I'm definitely looking to see her user speed on that left side and you know I'm looking for a through ball Sosa a quick pullback move trying to get it to Talus and it goes off her heel and benko goes down on the play and a free kick for a Long Meadow we'll give a shout out to uh Nick torsha um winner of the 50 50 raffle donated I believe most of it or all of it all of it to uh right back to Rays of Hope so uh good move on him great kid gotta love it happy Davis trying to play up the sideline and throw in four Long Meadow score is one nil in favor of Longmeadow ball goes out of bounds and should be another long metal throwing on the far sideline and East longmeadows defensive Zone throwing goes office Stevens and spits back towards the top of the 18 where Ali Thompson's there to break things up and clear that ball out Megan morneaux able to be Defender they've got a two-on-one Emma Sosa going the other way Thompson and Thomas a touch to Thompson and now Sosa looking to turn the hips looking to get a rip a shot and she scores and there's a whistle had the ball oh yeah they call it back craziness so no goal on the play from Sosa East long metal had numbers and momentum going the other way and unfortunate break there and now they've just got to be a fire lit underneath them at this point I believe in her way to uh plowing to the net I think she knocked over a Long Meadow uh I'm out of Defense guess what Chad that's just an aggressive play okay I know that's called aggressive soccer yeah I'm on your side here these refs got to get their heads out of clouds right now I mean come on plus she had the ball plus she had the ball Mr Mickey would have liked that one but like I mean you know can't be Mr Nice Guy all the time Chad sometimes you gotta take a quick reality check now some subs entering the game number 22 me and Metro will come into the game along with number 15 for Longmeadow um Marley Ducharme Bridget Jordan will come out of the game for East Longmeadow and for Longmeadow number six Catherine Policia politia lukasik back to Stevens and that pass is broken up by venko and now Roman steps up and clears it all the way out to Midfield and Chad going back to that play I mean some great ball movement from East Longmeadow and using their triangles oh yeah absolutely you know uh you got called back I mean I want to know what the call was because Sosa had the ball so I'm interested I mean well I mean I I saw the goal and then I saw the refs hand go up pointing towards a long metal possession so uh across inside into Florio hops on that one wasn't really sure what the fine details were definitely like to uh have a little Chow yeah have a little chat Megan morneaux chasing it down on the far sideline more no in a one-on-one battle and she gets B and a quick up pass and Pat locked down by Davis puts the ball down and lukasik makes a play Ali Thompson's got some Running Room [Music] cuts inside towards the top of the 18 and a great defensive play made by Manning now with Mia Metra looking to support and Eastlawn metal with a quick transition a great look from lukasik on the through ball now Mourinho again tamecha kicks right back to Mourinho and she'll switch fields to Morneau on the far side and it goes over her head and out of bounds will be a long metal throw in going the other way seems to have a little bit of momentum as we just over 25 minutes remaining in the half scores still one nothing in favor of Longmeadow if you're just joining us Islamic just had a goal called back after we are not we are unsure of the call yeah um I mean that's that's gotta light a fire underneath I mean absolutely you got to be furious at this point hopefully a little intensity comes out of that and um and maybe come up with one soon kaylukasik fighting through multiple Defenders and Mourinho will come up with the ball and make a smart play tomorrow no more no looking for Sosa and Sosa puts the long metal defender on the turf we have a uh another you saw metal football score update um over in West Springfield it's 24-8 Easton Meadow so uh you somehow definitely giving them the work right now so always good to see he's football team looking to become 5-0 by the end of the evening yeah I mean they got a good team yeah I mean currently they're ranked I believe number three behind Westfield and I mean obviously Central I mean I say you know what Chad I say we go give Central a go let's go show them what we got you know why not let's just get a little scrimmage going they can put all their backups in back maybe like a few teachers or something yeah let's have a little fun with it you know you could do like a student teacher Central game like you somehow against the students maybe like Mr Freeman will be half back Ally Thompson with the ball can't quite get a good touch to some space goes off of her right foot and ends up in the hands of Reynolds Stevens heads it up Mia Metra chasing it down and ball spits back out Roman DeStefano calling for it and Kenna Marino coming all the way back to make a great save and kicks the ball out of bounds and a throw in for Manning and I believe a sub coming into the game for Longmeadow number 13.
one man 25 20. see yum s Columbia Eagles touchdown that movie just made at the 30-yard line to cut back across the middle of the field if he was going one-on-one he wasn't winning that one what an athlete [Music] made up for that fumble punt that he had a couple minutes ago he said yeah I'm gonna take this one myself 95 to the crib get your breath bud I gotta kick those Raptors [Music] so for the pat good snap good hold kick is up and it is good place [Music] 135 yards and two touchdowns look at that man you did that on the spot Alex there's no way you just did that in the spot well you had a 40-yard pass in a 95-yard run all past coaches and players not too bad for that Eagles offense so that Mandy McGuire group scoreboard now reads Columbia 14 Salem Wildcats 0-423 remaining in the first quarter and that's just the start you want if you're coach Warner makes your job a lot easier when you don't have to call a lot of players two plays two touchdowns so now you see Vegas coming off for the first time first time this year for a uh for a kick well the Eagles are going to have a new kicker coming out [Applause] for this kicked off and a well-deserved break for vaguely they got the black jerseys on tonight so the number is nine but with these black jerseys they don't always have everything available so not sure who number nine is tonight but here we go [Music] they kick it deep on a good kick that's gonna be caught at the 11.
Sophia chiaglo siaglo one of the other be answering the game replacing DiStefano Ally Thompson balls touched lightly out of bounds by Ducharme Merino throws one off the sideline and it goes out of bounds automatically quick throw in for Manning 22-25 remaining in regulation of this game it's still one nil on Meadow and a classic rower again Sosa keeps the ball Oh I thought that stayed in okay never mind I guess the referee's right there he should have better eyes than us so yeah I like to argue with everyone they clearly have better Vision they definitely have better Vision than us so like the parents that was still into the referee's just standing right next to him and now Mourinho bit of a ping-pong match and vanco chips it all the way out Motts and Roman steps up into that one spits out to Midfield Stevens looking to make a touch pass to Talus and it's broken up now Kaylee lukasik a quick pullback move a cup move towards the outside and she'll play it out wide to Mourinho mourinho's got to chase this one down and a little too much on the pass from lukasik impressive skill moves and uh at Midfield though by lukasik there and I've noticed a little bit too much I've noticed Chad they've moved her towards the more defensive mid right now but I'd actually like to see her go more offensive mid I mean you have Tia Talis there right now so we'll see uh if long metal holds on for a little bit longer I'm sure they'll utilize our skills so I mean I think that they may be holding back a little bit just based off that injury earlier but um we'll maybe see her work the ball up a little bit more and a clear from long metal Eastside Meadows had most of the Zone time offensively so far in this second half but Longmeadow being the victor as they lead one nothing just over 20 remaining and Manning with the throw-in Thompson steps and Greenman with Motts and Stevens clears that one up Sosa with a good that was just a slip up there no no dirty contact okay so it looks bad I just want to clarify right right off the bat that was a bit of a slip up by the long metal player and uh definitely could have been ugly though I'm glad she's okay because she kind of like went you know heels under looks like heels under yeah it was a little a little scary looking but uh glad to see she's okay just looked like somebody laid his shoulder into her yeah I mean but not not any dirty contact that was just a bit of a slip up and aggressive play you know what happens sometimes looking towards the middle nobody home okay lukasik chasing it down and she'll let Stevens take it Megan Morneau and she's taken down on the play and goes Head Over Heels Kenna Marino oh a little bit of a sour play by Manning there [Music] oh I like that fake out by Mourinho pretending like she's gonna be amazing with a little bit of attitude I like to see the competitive yeah I mean you gotta love to see a little bit of the competitiveness you know get something nice going it gets me fired up I know that and Kayla lucasic will have a free kick but you know that's also just in Sportsman like that's just uncalled for especially when you're up one nothing like you know Ally Thompson looking to take a shot yeah that's something that the losing side usually does and now Manning excuse me not Manning I don't want to falsely accuse someone else of being Manago Merino that is maybe I'll prefer but Thompson bit of a high footpath Manning and lucasic looking to get involved Mia Metra thank you trying to chase it down unable to do so ball kicks all the way back out to Stevens and she'll play towards the middle of the Tia Talis Talus a through ball looking for Thompson or Sosa Thompson running up on the right side and long metal Defender keeps that ball in and sends up the line right to the foot of Mia matcha matcha looking for a cross inside and make it more no there's a little bit of space up top and that ball is heavily cleared out of bounds great look by Metro there to uh get it to the middle almost more now could have had an opportunity to put that one on that unfortunately she couldn't Garner control the ball and a big time corner kick here a substitution for the captain made we have number two for Longmeadow uh I do not have a number we do have a number two but I know that my keckney is checking into the game for east side but I'll cross remove cassid goes to the far post looking for Stevens and it goes out of bounds but Esau metal will get round two zap ball did go off of uh I believe green men of Longmeadow so Kayla lucasic set to take another one from the op opposite corner handsome great encouraging words for Mrs deflorio to bend it in oh ahead from Morneau and just a little too much on it goes wide left of the net Islam Meadows so far has been dominating this second half and they're just looking to get a shot I mean they've yet to have like a good clean shot besides the one obviously that got called back yeah it's hard to get those in soccer I mean the middle is usually pretty locked down so I'm looking for a teitalis outside the 18 just just a ripper that's what I'm looking for right now yeah that's um I mean I'd love to see that as well I'd love to see you across bicycle kick top right corner it's a little let's go a little crazy Chad let's let's come back to reality for a minute here I'm not saying that they couldn't do it but and deflorio with the wind in her favor launches that one past Midfield Sosa on the run a little bit of contact with Daigle and now Sosa a cup move inside looking for someone up top of the 18 Talus unable to get to it and Davis sending it into the middle of the metro metro Quick One Touch pass to make me and it's broken up nicely now long metal quickly transitioning the other way around Midfield and a pass broken up mckechny looking for Metra in the middle of the field and Metro was unable to receive that pass a bit of a miscommunication there Megan morno firing up the line playing defense on Van Gogh and now a burnt Defender and a shot across looking for a post and Mourinho has to come out of her position to try and get a foot on it and the ball goes clearly out of bounds unless it did go should be an Eastlawn metal throwing okay good falling straight through everybody sub coming in for Eastlawn Meadow number two Addie Jordan will check in and Mia Mecha will check out a lot of speed up top right now you got Megan Morneau Addy Jordan and I'm a Sosa looking to make things happen and looks to be a timeout taken by coach late Coach Lee of East Longmeadow so as we have a couple minutes here Chad um we've kind of been talking about it as play's been active but Eastlawn metal has certainly been dominating offensively so far in this second half and they've just yet to get a clean one on that minus that that shot from Sosa you know that was called back um with her goal but yeah they've really just brought the intensity of the second half um they've had their opportunities but uh Unfortunately they just yeah as you said haven't really gotten anything clean on that I haven't really tested the long metal goaltender and um I mean so far it's working out for a long Meadows yeah 1-0 you know the long Metal's got a lot of speed up top but you saw Meadow matches it right back I mean I like the adjustment the coach Lee just made um he's got more no running up top along with I believe Sosa and uh Addie Jordan so I'm excited to see those three start to work together a little bit and you got Talus and lucasic in the middle you know those two they're The Playmakers yeah so I'm looking for a solid through ball from one of them um and just use the speed up top like a lot of times most goals you see in soccer especially around at high school level through balls is just through ball after through ball you just gotta get it through the D and and take off um so definitely looking for that something to spark here for Eastlawn Meadow and tie this game up yeah um looking for one of the East Longmeadow leading goal scorers to step up I think as of right now uh Tia Tallis leads with four goals on falling behind is Addie Jordan so uh one of those two or even anybody else um just yeah I'll get a shot on that so Talos had a big game the other night on Wednesday with a hat-trick as I believe who they play I don't remember where they play Wednesday night um I believe oh West Springfield Westfield oh was it Westfield my mistake yeah so in that three nothing win Thomas hit all three so that was initially supposed to be the pink out game I believe so so soft Addy Jordan and now he saw metal making some way up field Kayla Kassick has to chase that one down as it goes towards the sideline and a nice defensive play by long metal Megan Morneau breaks up the clear now more no switching Fields over to Addie Jordan Jordan can't get any part of her body on it and it's gonna go all the way to the sideline where she has to chase down I believe that is kasparowski and a clear Eastlawn middle throne for Abby Davis Kevin Moreno touch back to Davis Davis sends it up the line and ball comes back towards the middle to lukasik lukasik sends a ball up towards Sosa and cleared out of bounds by I believe number 15.
good wall of blockers here for Salem they go in Ben Scott firing down and making the tackle they're at the 26-yard line for Colombia brought down in the tackle number one Ben Scott he's made a lot of tackles on the kickoff team this year that's one guy that's got a motor that goes 90 miles an hour and he's an athlete he's just a great athlete all around good showing here from the Columbia faithful again on a Brisk evening here from the Columbia multi-purpose field oh it's football weather now I'm thankful we're in the booth trips to the left side now Salem's gonna have to throw the ball trips to the left side running back left they're still going to run the ball up the middle and they're gonna get tripped up is the big running back by number five I believe that's Peyton enough that's Stefan's on the carry for Salem brought down by Cameron janick and Carter Hicks and this is good to also good for uh Columbia because if you're a power offense run first and you're playing from behind you're gonna have to start chucking the ball around a little bit which you're not really used to but let's see what they have in mind second down and six trip to the left side again they're gonna fake the run to the left quarterback's been keeping himself he's gonna gain four and once he got to contacts he stopped right there but it's still gonna be good for a first day yeah Dominic vaguely on the tackle that's because he saw number 12 coming up first down Wildcats 320 here left in first quarter Salem has a ball at their own 37-yard line three linemen looks like Geronimo here we're gonna bring everybody all those linebackers are stepping up Coach G making the shift as Salem makes the shift they're gonna do a counter here to the left side quarterback is going to hand it off get the running back who's gonna gain three that's a slow slow play there's nothing was going you look like yeah it was just a simple counter counter run there running back had a hole to his right if he wanted to bend it back this way [Music] three yards second and seven Eagles last week and even tonight sticking with that three-man front a lot of times when you see a running team you're gonna go another defensive lineman we just bring the linebackers and we do it this time blow it up in the backfield we'll have to see who gets off on the pile of the last but like caning Stein and like Brandon white he was back there in a hurry so like I said a lot of teams are throwing forward we're just gonna throw five linebackers at you along with number 73 Tom petting as long as you have uh I mean if say you're bringing seven you have seven in the box and then you have guys like Wetzel uh Peyton Andrews Don vagley and Mason vagley playing straight up man-to-man on the outside so um if it comes down to that could be looking pretty good [Applause] third and sixth in the Salem head coach is going to want to talk it over 140 remaining in the first quarter we're gonna stick with you between the first and second quarter watch the honoring you're not already down to the West End Zone 1972 team and all the other teams here so Jared you look back at this game a lot of older guys a lot of younger guys and uh from your team how many of your buddies are still active watching the games commenting and filling you in whenever we get done broadcasting um let's watch it almost every week um they're always telling me if I had a good or bad but um and then a couple other my buddies uh don't hail the brand every now and then he Tunes in um Jordan Holmes every now and then Tunes in so uh I got a couple friends that still uh check back in and see how the team's doing and that's a big thing like coach Tremaine said in the pre-game show it's good to have a following and we're going to try to get a list of all of the former players starting from this year and go back as far as we can get a list of the seniors get a list of their numbers and emails and be able to keep the an alumni page going so be on the lookout for that to be happening three down lineman we're going to send a couple linebackers from the right side they're gonna run away from them they're gonna get caught in the backfield Logan Hicks [Music] pretty good and Hicks filling in for Brandon Jackson who was injured two weeks ago he's now in a leg brace over here at about the 42 yard line he's got a full leg break so fourth down and five Salem's gonna go for it in their own territory I got nothing to lose doubles to the left side sniffer back left quarterback's gonna bootleg to the left he's going Way backwards wrong direction gets rid of it and it falls incomplete where the Eagles will take over number four turnover on Downs good job Plum Eagles defense and there was Yannick and Logan Hicks again putting pressure on that quarterback I know I said that they're going away from Wessel but every time they want to roll out to the left side which is kind of confusing to me because you have your quarterback rolling all the way around and let's throw it across his body but and they uh whip for it there at Midfield so we'll see if Columbia can put another one on the scoreboard here doubles to the right side we're gonna hand it off to Hudson Bryant to the right he's gonna have to come back makes a couple men Miss in the backfield he's got five yards and a good run making something out of nothing Bryant I'd like to ask all the former players if you're listening comment on the chat we'll be able to read it live and let us know where you're listening from give you a shout out that's all the wheels were here he said the last four weeks they've had to watch us on YouTube they actually made it to the game today so we lost one listener there but they're here in attendance with us tonight [Applause] Eagles are gonna have to run one more play as there's about six or seven seconds differential on the two clocks it's King set for the Eagles to the left side and the ball off fumbled on the play right into the arms of a Salem Wildcat and that is not what you wanted if you're the eagle so once again shooting ourselves in the foot recovered by Brendan Luxor Salem [Applause] hang on to the football you go up three scores and this game could be over in a third just look like a bad handoff there look like vaguely went to hand it to Bryant I believe was the running back next week against Bree Central you can't have those two fumbles in in the first quarter you know coach Brian's short great coach over there and Breeze and he'll he'll be all over that if we fumble the ball twice in the first quarter so we need to clean that up for next week for sure might have been Yannick on the fumble gonna be a pulled hand offense into the quarterback this time but what do you know it's our quarterback um Wildcat zero so that is the end of the first quarter Columbia leads it 14-0 on that Mandy McGuire group scoreboard we're gonna shift over to the former players at the 10-yard line and one will stay with us here history tonight along with principal Brian Reeves we would like to recognize all past coaches and players the pioneers of blue Pride football 1972 was the inaugural season of Columbia football and tonight we have some members of that team present please help me recognize the 1972 Columbia eagle with us tonight are Dave Eckert John Ecker Jeff Davenport Steve ehlers Al farmer Jim Hopkins Wayne goody [Applause] Mark Blair and Coach Joe day [Applause] other members of the 1972 team were Paul Straub Steve Ray in Scottsdale Clarkdale CJ Lurch Jim Friedrich Jim Wilson players on the team that have since passed Larry Soma Gary West and Steve muskoff how about a huge round of applause to all past and present members of Columbia football [Applause] [Music] thank you [Music] good day pretty cool moment there for the 50th anniversary of homecoming so thank you for all those guys coming out and supporting on Coach Horner and Coach Jermaine they always say blue pride is more than just a saying it sticks with guys from year to year so thank those guys for starting something and now we got to keep it going second quarter is going to get underway with a pass play to the right side this is the first time they've threw him to Wetzel it's going to be a game good job on him coming back and making a break on the ball he's really good at reading those that wide receiver whenever they're gonna shut down their hips and run a quick hitch route down five yards to go made a good good open field tackle for a good third and five here at what coach Germaine always talks about third and five from the 45.
I can't tell these numbers are so small on these jerseys they gotta I gotta talk to whoever makes them over in Longmeadow Sosa Apple goes out of bounds on her cross and will be a goal kick for Longmeadow just over 12 minutes remaining and this absolute dogfight here between you some metal um still one nothing game with uh the sole goal score um dreaming long metal with the throw in and their own Zone on the far sideline kasparowski [Music] looks to find the feet of Goodrich and ball pops towards the middle Tia Talis able to grab it and unable to control as Manning breaks up the play lukasik now chasing down Stevens ball pops towards the sideline for Greenman chasing down Greenman a little bit of arm work and greenman's able to be lukasik now a battle of Megan Morneau and mourno will put it off agreement it'll be an East long metal throwing going the other way foreign and the Longmeadow player steps up to break things up a great move to get by and now up to Addie Jordan Jordan sends it towards the corner looking for Sosa on the overlap run and longmeadow's there to break things up meaning lets the ball go out of bounds lukasik quick to transition finds Tia Talis and Talus with a big body Andrew charme and now I believe lucasic set to take a quick kick as East Longmeadow gets sacked Tia Talis with a great play classic waiting for things to develop in front of the net and she'll send one towards the Middle top PK Mark Ball spits all the way back out to her and she'll switch fields looking for Stevens now eat long metal making their way up field number two who does not have a name I kind of feel bad for that girl because she just name what's on their on their roster sheet yeah I don't know I'm I'm interested by that maybe JV call up I'm not sure yeah [Music] yeah and uh long Metal's got too many too many women on the field right now so I think I think that should be uh yeah I wish this was like hockey Chad you know like just have a quick power play but unfortunately that has not happened number 18 for Longmeadow checking into the game McKenna Reynolds replacing number 13.
it's gonna be a tight end with the sniffer back to the left running back to the right Eagles have four linemen they're gonna run to the left side try to stretch it wide gets forced back in by what I believe was White gonna be a gain of two maybe one and another stop for the Columbia Eagles defense your base maze on the carries for Wildcats brought down by number 75 Joe Kish fourth down again at Midfield it looks like they're going to keep their offense on the field again and try to get something going with this offense maybe three first downs so far in this game watch the football here this is something like you said we do that all the time no other team tries doing it to us four down line two linebackers trips to the right side of the quarterback he's going to look to his left throws and it gets knocked down at the line of scramledge incomplete and another turnover on down for the Eagles [Music] thank you Columbia gets his big frame gets his big hand up in the air and gets tough gets the stop Eagles defense built Ford tough tonight [Applause] doubles now to the left side of vaguely with a sniffer back left running back spread out way right he's gonna be the motion man gonna be a fake to him they're gonna look for the Deep ball it's gonna be a pass down to the corner and it's going to fall in complete I believe I thought rainwater Dalton rain water intended a number 34 Dalton Marine War got off his fingertips it looked like but I don't know what he had been in bounds I couldn't tell the ball could have been thrown a little bit more in bounds but that would have been a tough catch there you said built Ford tough like I was gonna say like that Cardinals Bullpen today [Music] it's not pretty same formation on the right side gonna be a run this time and good job getting off the block for that Salem defensive lineman carry for Columbia yeah scrimmage and that's it [Music] Cardinal a cardinal Bullpen is more like the Pittsburgh Steelers today that's another shot oh shattered coach Kendall there in coach Warner both Steelers fans oh yeah trip to the left side third and ten running back to the right gonna be a pass no protection for vaguely it's okay he finds a stagger out he finds a first down left to the 25 to the 20.
there's just no no punishment for too many people Sophia siago and now Longmeadow inside the 18 looking for someone up top PK Mark Kenna Marino chasing down Freeman and that ball goes out of bounds off of Mourinho and a long metal throwing for Manning Manny to Green Man and lucasic sends it back to Roman lukasik now to Mourinho Sosa a good body position now Manning and she goes over the back quick transition by lukasik looking for Addie Gordon and she's got some Running Room Addie Jordan looking to catch up to the ball and can't quite get to it and that ball X is the playing field for a long metal goal kick so just under eight and a half minutes left in this game here Sosa he's somehow just looking to get something with the ball in the corner she ain't able to turn her hips looking inside Freddy Jordan Tales are over the crossbar with eight minutes remaining in the regulation foreign very frustrating Chad I mean I I almost put a hole in them I almost put a hole in the wall or I should say my table here now lukasik looking the other side of the field Megan Morneau stepping way up to assist and now lukasik has to drop back she'll play it towards the middle to Mourinho Mourinho back to lukasik out wide and Lucas will touch it back to more now and a penalty on the on the play Greenman getting a little bit feisty with lukasik and lucasic screaming for a ball the ball girl's got to pay attention here so I can't believe they're gonna make that call while we're still in possession lucasic set to take another kick in a similar spot and she'll send it towards inside the PK Mark ends up on Sosa's foot Sosa trying to fight it through and she goes down inside the Box looking for a call and she won't receive one Megan Morneau goes down after her foot gets Tangled Up ball spits all the way back to Roman I'll tell you what Chad they're certainly letting long metal play out yeah I mean I don't know what these referees got but I'll take a piece of it Megan Mourinho these some metal has a little bit of energy now though we've got a lot of energy going right now Emma Sosa a one-on-one battle with Grace venko and apple goes out of bounds just inside the flag so it'll be a throwing they'll give it to more now six minutes remaining in regulation long metal up one nil Sosa a bicycle touch pass looking and goes out of bounds Reynolds will take her sweet time but the ball boy there for islamo not letting that occur she was trying to take her Sunday stroll a couple days too early come on much so just over five and a half minutes now lucasic chasing down lucasics got some space able to keep the ball she'll try to get a shot on and it's taken down on the play once again no call on the field I think that he saw Meadow in the last minute or so has gone more shots on net than they have the entire rest of the game now a goal kick zap off goes right to the foot of Sosa Addie Jordan with some room and a corner kick now free slong metal it has the ball boy kicks it into Mach 2.
makes a man miss tries to cut back in and Zach Russell ladies and gentlemen gets the Eagles first down and gets us into the red zone all right Columbia fans that's good enough for a Columbia Eagle first down [Music] [Applause] First and Ten for the Eagles from the 12-yard line people are fired up tonight we haven't seen it like this all year I don't think wets are dancing around like a ballerina out there he's got a homecoming dance tomorrow and he's just getting practiced and warmed up Begley's gonna run to the right side just a straight run makes a man miss lowers the shoulder gets into the end zone for another Columbia Eagle touchdown me a touchdown did you get the skirt yep I didn't skirt we hit the brakes he puts a foot in the ground gets into the end zone for his second touchdown of the Night On The Ground he's throwing for him [Music] listen to the band the band's trying to play the fight song right now but yeah you can't play it too loud when the play is going on foreign [Applause] so that takes that mean to Maguire group scoreboard now Eagles lead it 21-0 flip around the field and we will be back right after this [Music] welcome back ladies and gentlemen where the Eagles lead that Manny McGuire group scoreboard 21-0 after a 12-yard run by Dom vigley getting into the end zone and sends it deep and it's going to take the Return Man back to the one it's going to be caught he's going to try to get up to the middle of the field he bends it to the right side he's got the 30 and he's got a all of the Eagles Ben Scott missed the tackle this time at the goal line but he came down number 12.
6 coach I don't even think it's a ball it's set to uh take the kick as we have reached the Hot Table final five it might even be one of their head coaches lukasik sending it into the middle top the 18 to Talus Megan Morneau back out wide to lukasik and she'll send it in to Sosa she's got some room tall is trying to get a foot on it and it's cleared out by long metal defense [Music] just once again and finally saw metal gets a whistle somebody just has to to just get good contact on the ball and oh my god let's just start swinging legs at this point he got nothing to lose aimlessly even like better than not getting a shot on that Roman setting it in and Reynolds has to come up with a save shot from Roman and the clock Narrows down just over three and a half minutes remaining as Reynolds takes her time Reynolds punts it just short of Midfield on the one hot bounce and that ball exits the playing field making their way towards the middle Long Middle trying to play a little bit more conservatively yeah just trying to control the ball here run out the clock if they can um so they're not going to make any aggressive moves outside and a quick cut back by Reynolds and a shot inside and a great breakup by lukasik and it's saved by deflorio [Music] classic dropping all the way back to assist that would have definitely most likely been a goal yeah that would have been the dagger and yeah probably the dagger freestyle metal but they still have some life just under three minutes remaining one nothing game East longmeadows gotta get the ball out of their defensive Zone and now a through ball up the sideline to Stefano a cutback move inside looking for a teammate and she'll send it for a post for Greenman kicks all the way back out and Roman able to break it up as she sends it way up wide towards the far sideline Addie Jordan chasing it down and she'll be the first to the ball Islam middle a little bit light on numbers Jordan looking back to mckechny and ends up right on the long middle Defenders foot now Tia Talis with a quick body and she'll get the call two minutes remaining in the game lookastic set to take the kick for East Longmeadow [Music] you still met us to hurry up and get in position here they need as much time as they can squeeze out of this last minute 45.
good Hustle by Ben Scott right down again number one Ben Scott his third tackle tonight on kickoff Salem could get something going here on the offensive side of the ball got some big boys up front might not move the greatest but man they do hog up that whole offense four guys at the line of scrimmage three linebackers they're gonna go up the middle once again they're gonna get five keeps his feet moving after that initial contact and gets eight three and after they go up the middle kennington's coming onto the field for the Wildcats Logan Hicks on the stop for Columbia Logan Hicks how many times has he been called tonight I'd say four or five already shooting them gaps and making good tackles he got second and about three here second and three gonna be a run right up the middle again gonna get to the line of scrimmage lowers the shoulder forward momentum gets him into Eagles territory in a first down for a while pass picks up first down [Music] and for people that couldn't see last week that's literally what they did though it would be First and Ten they have a five yard carry second and five and they get a four yard carry third and one then they pick up a first down and here we go again it was like that all game you just couldn't get a lot of stops in that first half and it's kind of hard to watch but a lot better tonight pass play this time looking for the right side one of the double move I was looking to the wide receivers and in on the sack there for the Eagles looks like Brennan white Brandon white on the side for Columbia from The Blind Side [Applause] gotta break up a second down and 14 and go so a loss of four on the sack by wike second and 14 moves him back into Wildcat territory 8 20 on the clock remaining we're gonna have a couple guys from that 1972 team come up do a quick interview during that Century 21 halftime show Salem's gonna go up the middle once again good block there getting a hole open but they're only going to gain two and a slew of eagles making them tackle after a short game bring up third and 11.
