they're going to try to go to the left side over on that East Side Alton sideline before getting run out of bounds and Jared can you see a number over there I could not know might be 40 number 40 tonight that is Kim Janet cam janick typically wears number zero but with the black jerseys he's going to be 40. so Jared we'll see if coach horn is thinking like you are and come out slinging it Eagles are going to take over First and Ten from the 42 yard line so good field position to start something that we're not used to seeing can still buy one in here look at this press coverage down here closest to us I believe that's ribbling now they're pressing off a little bit sniffer back to the right side two running backs back with Mason Bagley single receiver split out wide it's going to be a run stretch play to the right side gonna be with number two Hicks he's got to the original line of scrimmage blockers down the field he's got a first down 40 30.

friends that I can move back on it's High School it high school so we finally get the freedom to do what we finally want welcome back to live coverage of Ashlin High School football here on waca TV I'm Josh Abrams joined Again by Chase Abrams I guess I almost said Logan Chase but it's it is Chase my older son glad to have you with us here on Friday night uh clocker is currently down 21 to9 pending an extra point or two-point conversion we've had a long uh injury delay here on the field it's uh just being cleaned up here a little bit and uh again the mood a little bit here in the Press Box as well as on the field and the stands a little bit subdued prayers out to that to that Bellingham player out of respect to him and his family we're not going to mention any names or anything uh really great show of support the entire Bellingham team came out on the field surrounded their fallen teammate as he was removed from the field uh on a on a backboard and again obviously we hope uh we hope that he gets some good news after he gets checked out yep we expect the game to continue but just just a tough scene um on the field for a little while yeah you're seeing the uh right now you're seeing the captains from both teams really great show of respect and sportsmanship on the field as the two teams uh will finally resume action here after what's probably about a 20 minute or so delay we appreciate uh your patience our viewing audience uh obviously Public Access we have a limited number of uh commercials commercials and programming that we can run uh during an injury time out like this one um but again just happy to have you with us here this here this evening ball has been spotted right about the one yard line again when uh when play stopped uh we had a penalty called against Bellingham for an illegal block on what started as a as an extra point attempt turned into a fake two point conversion attempt that was stopped short of the goal line where Runner was brought down around the 5 yd line but again an illegal block penalty was called on the Blackhawks and in the ensuing timeout if you will uh an unsportsman likee conduct penalty was assessed yes so again the ball has been moved up to about the one yd line the clockers are heading to the line right now looking for the tie we really do have a heck of a game on our hands clockers have come all the way back from a 14-point deficit trying to erase it completely with this play right here okay no subterfuge whatsoever from mck and the lockers this is a straight out two-point conversion no fake uh extra point attempt here yeah they're at the one they might as well just go for it right they're looking like they're going into that hybrid Gunk formation little more spread out it looks like CH on the right they're going to run it push waiting for the signal and there it is this game has been tied clockers 21 Bellingham 21 and we know that kickoff is going to be about 15 yards longer now okay okay okay so again as Chase mentioned we're now a brand new ball game clockers again were down by as many as 14 at the half it's now a tie game at 21 so that two-point conversion able to erase the pain of a failed extra point earlier tonight that was blocked aside yeah so we'll see where they spot the ball on this kickoff if they did in fact uh call the in Sportsman like condex on the two-point conversion attempt instead and it looks like yes they did they're going to be kicking from their normal spot so yeah so again that illegal block penalty and the UN Sportsman Lake Hond were both applied to that two-point conversion which explains why the ball was so close to the go on the one in yard line pretty much so Aaron wolf now to kick off for the clockers a brand new ball game the momentum has really seemed to have shifted to the clockers they're finally executing on offense after some terrific play earlier by the special teams and defense here's a little squib kick by the clockers fielded cleanly by Bellingham and the runner is brought down right at his own 40 yd line so first and 10 here for the Blackhawks it's their first possession in quite a while chase that that offense may have gotten a little bit iced given the raw weather conditions here tonight yeah sure hope their hands aren't too cold right lot of time on that sideline lot of time on that sideline clocker defense back out there to try to slow him down okay ball spotted at the 39 Big Nate Kavanaugh just standing there waiting for that Bellingham offensive line to show itself couple rumors floating around that he's gotten some emails from a couple D1 programs I'm not going to name any names sure well I know he he did uh attend a camp at University of Delaware this summer yes okay diaran in shotgun again hand off to Perkins and he is met and dropped by Guess Who Big Nate Kavanaugh I think he heard us from the Press Box big dogs ready to eat it's a big tfl on on first down and it's going to be second and 11 or second and 12 for the Bellingham offense now okay they're going to mark for no again okay okay yeah now got to love those clocker fans on hand here right at the 50 outside the Press [Laughter] Box Okay so second and 10 at the 39 for Bellingham Doan in shotgun once again he's got Perkins a step behind tight end in motion that was number 87 W cerie here's the hand off to Perkins right up the middle Matt ter brings him down yep short gain for Blackhawks it's going to make it third and long yeah Terry and Cavin on those previous two plays you like to see your defensive linemen stay low get low in that pad level neither one of them really did that but they're both so strong they didn't really need to Kavanagh ate up his blocker Matt ter shedding off his to make the tackle there gain of about three or four for the Blackhawks it's going to be third and six I'll tell you what Chase between you Matt Terry nay Cavanaugh we've got 80% of the uh of the 60 excuse me math was never my thing so got three fifths of the stack Junior division here tonight just looking for Josh S Andrew Andrew Clay it's been a rough start to my fantasy season fantasy football season okay let it go let it go tight end in motion third and long for the Blackhawks it's going to be a pass he steps back he's looking deep down the right sideline he's got to step and he cannot haul it in that was gamble with a step on two Ashlin Defenders there trying to make the catch as he falls down cannot hold on to it on that slippery Turf it's going to be fourth in medium for the for the Blackhawks and it looks like the punting unit has come on I'll tell you what that gamble kin has just got Breakaway speed we saw we saw it in the first half on end round runs that's the first real long pass attempt ton Night by the Blackhawks and he was open and we I've talked about David S speed before gamble just ran a straight poster out and dusted both Defenders near him as we see him move towards the the left side here maybe watch out for a bit of a fake oh we got flags everywhere on that snap let's see what happened it was probably motion on the uh thought it' be on the offensive line yep false start in fact called against the Blackhawks that snap was really soft getting back to the punter Chase Y and we'll take clockers will take any extra yardage they can get in this case it's 10 extra yards as the punter gets moved back and it looks like they will they put a returner out this time it looks like they are we've said his name a lot and it's going to be Kevin oal lumba back to return the punt standing just outside his own 30 yard line yeah we've seen Jason crisen do a lot of that work so far tonight ozal Luma getting his first opportunity if the ball gets hit to him he's been back there but it's G to snap here for the punter but he gets it off it's off the end of his foot the side of his foot ball hits right around Midfield and the Blackhawks fall on it the clockers are going to get excellent field position here in the fourth quarter at their own 49 really really costly mistake by the punter there he took a running start and it looked like it just glanced off the side or the front of his foot or something cuz it went straight up but it did not go far and uh Blackhawk Defenders had to down it right around Midfield but prevented from going backwards right right so really interesting I mean both snaps both on the the failed first attempt that with you know with the false star penalty and that second one both very soft snaps and I'm sure that had to be on the punter's mind just trying to get it away before it was too late but clocker benefit first and 10 at their own 49 it's a familiar formation as well as the handoff goes to Jason crisen running along the left tackle and getting nowhere okay so going to give him credit for a yard gain there second and nine clocker don't want to take their foot off the gas here they worked too hard to make this a tie game coming back from down two scores 14 down a tie game I would love to see a pass play right here up the tempo a little bit as crisen comes off the sideline cam antick is in he's got the play and he's bringing it to his offense so also want to share uh from the third member of our broadcast team Rob silver catching this one at home that the clockers are looking to pull a reverse of the whan game in week two yes we'll get to that after this play as Anon back to throw going to the near sideline looking for his receiver got him turned around incomplete so that's going to bring up a third and nine looking for Jacob FRS on the near sideline so came back to what Rob was saying in week two against whan the clockers LED 20 to7 at the half and wound up losing 27 to 20 so clockers were down 21 to7 a touchdown here would put them up 28-21 also want to take a moment and uh give a big shout out to Brian Henderson and his daughter Piper catching the game here on YouTube wacv Brian and Piper appreciate you guys catching the game uh from your plac out in Quincy good to see the broadcast making its way across Eastern Massachusetts anic checks the sideline for the play oal looma goes in motion to his left side snap is in antick is back another dump play to oal but he's met immediately the ball is out the play is now being blown dead they're going to call it an incomplete pass it looks like Bellingham calling for a fumble but I don't think ozal lomba ever had possession before he was met by Bellingham Defenders it's going to be fourth and seven it looks like we've got an injury timeout here on the field look having a hard time seeing exactly Who's down there but uh again we'll take a take a quick timeout away from the field as uh players are taking a knee out of respect um we were just talking about uh Brian Henderson his daughter Piper and Piper just want to say congratulations on a on a big goal I heard about in your soccer game uh believe it was earlier this week so congratulations on that hope uh nothing but the best for you and your teammates the rest of the way this fall meanwhile back here just a quick little programming note a reminder that uh our next broadcast will be this Monday night here on waca TV as the volleyball team takes on Medway the Medway Mustangs always a good matchup as that ashin volleyball team they lost a couple of key seniors uh in the off season but it's still a lot of depth on that team and a lot of good young players on their way up the pipeline really excited to see them they you know had a couple of tough games early on but uh they've been doing nothing but improving ever since and uh Medway Mustangs will be there lat latest challenge Monday night here on waca TV and uh at this point don't really know which one of us which two of us I should say are going to be announcing that game could be Chase and me could be Gabby you know keep the viewers on their toes that's right they we know what to expect so could be Logan those you uh follow ashin Sports here on waca TV you got to hear Logan call boy soccer game uh two nights ago as clockers were able to defeat the Bellingham Blackhawks three to nothing continue a nice little run as uh the soccer team boys soccer team is now ranked number six in their division those Power Rankings just came out earlier today so far asan player walking off under his own power that's good to see yeah it was Kevin uzomba who's uh been a crucial part of the uh the clocker attack on both sides of the ball tonight so uh good to see him walking off under his own power hopefully uh he can check out okay gets a nice little tap get a respectful tap from Captain cam anck yeah just the sophomore such a vital piece of this team we uh sending good wishes his way looks like the Ashen offense is going to stay on the field kind good vote of confidence here in that no never mind punting Unitus out there I see them I see them fish in Fish in I see huddle up like that I just assume I'm so sorry about that looks like Lucas Silva out there again okay ball spotted right in Midfield so clocker unable to uh to take advantage of some good field position here they're going to punt away and see if the defense can step up once again here comes the pressure from Bellingham and it works they get a hand on it fortunately it takes an Ashlin a bounce as it goes down to the 40 but certainly not what the clockers wanted from that play it looks like the clock they've got it and they do incredible special teams very excited running back towards their own sideline a little bit of luck a little bit of skill there from the clockers and it's first down in Bellingham territory so what looked like a big special teams play by Bellingham answered immediately by ashlin's special teams they're going to get the ball back and it's pretty much as if they had converted on fourth down they got first and 10 at the Blackhawk what do we got here the 40 39 yd line okay the player who recovered that we're so sorry we don't see who it was but incredibly heads up play and really just a huge swing point for the clockers who are trying to get Redemption for their last three and out I'll tell you what special teams they've been stepping it up all night here for the clockers you love giving the giving the kudos to special teams I love it okay 8:45 to go here in the fourth quarter in clock toown and your Ashen clockers tied with the Bellingham Blackhawks at 21 a piece but new life for the clockers first and 10 at their own wait a minute are they going to send this one back to New York for a review let us make the decision we got this you got to go with your first instinct right Chase I mean they said Ashlin ball yeah I mean why stick with it why second guess it they're going to re after all of that special great special teams play on both sides of the ball on that last punt attempt and it's all for not like it never happened Chase McKay not Thrills and you honestly can't blame him I mean just just a weird sequence of events and if I know coach McCay and I like to think I do I wouldn't be surprised to see the fake punt here just as like send it right back at Bellingham but here we go that's right that's right so here's the SN see if I hustle up the punt a little bit this time there it is gets it off end overend wobbly punt Ball's going to bounce and it's going to be down right there inside the 30 okay so not nearly the exciting result of the previous attempt it will be Bellingham ball now first and 10 around their own 30 yd line 843 to go in a tie game here in Ashland 843 left in the fourth quarter here we are noted at 21 so by the way uh as you heard us give a shout out to Brian and Piper Henderson just a little while ago if you are watching on the YouTube feed live go ahead yeah drop a comment in there you know if you got any constructive criticism for us you want to compliment of course we're always open to that or if you want us to give you give you a shout out happy to do that as well so here first and 10 for Bellingham and a nice little gain up the middle probably for about four yards Cory Perkins who's been the primary featured back here all night for the clockers and chase you I a little bit surprised I mean they have been feeding feeding him quite a bit here in the second half but you know in the first half we were seeing a lot of uh a lot of keeper plays by dant and listen I haven't really seen it since I was thinking about that too and I'm wondering if it's if it's an offensive adjustment that that Bellingham has done that just hasn't worked or if it's something that McKay has done on the defensive side and Bellingham seeing something they don't like from Ashen and they just can't run that play anymore or do you think it's a rope a doe and they're just going to lull Ashlin to sleep and suddenly unleash love that theory with a lot of things huh clock's going to start running dmer Kant with a back to his left we're under eight minutes to go in the fourth quarter two receivers on each side wide formation second and eight here's the keeper play he's got blocks still on his feet going down the near sideline did step out of bounds just over Midfield so a big first down for Bellingham and and I guess I'm going to get blamed for an announc we may be prophetic let's put it that way let's say we're prophetic and not a jinx well we were wondering why they weren't running that play and it makes you wonder even more a lot of success on that play early on ashon not ready for it yet again and really lucky that he stepped out where he did okay so 739 to go in the fourth quarter Bellingham first and 10 at the clocker 47 yd line and Bellingham you know again they chewed up a lot of a lot of ground in the first half and looks like that offense is starting to get back on track right here getting late into the fourth quarter if I were them I'd run the same play again why not can't stop it the exact same play yeah run until they stop it but poman drops back to throw he's got time he's going long looking for gamble incomplete he lost his Defender cont a lot of contact between the two players David sails with him step for step gamble tried to readjust in midair and just can't come down with it deep shot down the right sideline we've seen Gamble and that's the second time can't try that and once again unable to connect yes sales was much closer with the coverage that time but still you know um gamble was able to kind of shed his coverage and had the opportunity that ball hit him in the numbers he just couldn't hold on to it really just a straight up go route good coverage but you can see the trust dmer Kant has in his receiver to give him a 50/50 ball like that absolutely so you know Doan a senior gamble a junior they've had some time together to practice that one so here we go second down Dian again in shotgun read option gives they do hand it off this time met by an Ashton Defender let's see who that was number 10 Jacob fre meets him in the hole stops him for a one or two y gain okay so that's going to bring up third down looks like what what are you going to call that third and seven third and eight okay third and eight okay 713 and counting to go here in the fourth quarter all right if you're if you're the Bellingham coach are you passing it or you running it on this play um you know what this is a tough question for me I I want to I want to challenge you a little bit I well look I mean I would have to say the running game's been working a lot better than the passing game although granted they've run a heck of a lot more running plays than pass plays well I guess I guess this is four down territory I was going to that was going to be my next question is this four down territory and I completely agree 646 and counting to go in this game we're still tied at 21 Here Comes oh Anon almost blew it up barely avoids Cameron antonic going for the first down he's going to get it incredible they had him bottled up and he still somehow managed to gain the what seven eight yards that he needed for the first down that's a big conversion for Bellingham antick very nearly made his third play of the game third big play of the game dmer Kant just barely able to get away from him run for the first down okay ball spotted at the 36 yd line 635 to go Bellingham now first and [Music] 10 okay once again dant and Perkins side by side the give is to number one and we got a flag that's going to go against Bellingham they're stopping the play blowing it dead very quick it was I'm going to go out on a limb and call a false start illegal shift wow felt good about that one too I could have should have taken you up on a bit there remember chase our announcing is strictly for entertainment purposes only there is no gambling no wagering on the announ on now though there's no such thing as legal gambling on announcing in Massachusetts yeah you let me know if you see that on fandel and uh you know then we can talk about it five leg parlay including correctly guessing the shift yeah clock is running we're down to about 615 to go in the game first and 15 for Bellingham ball spotted at the 41 yd line Man in Motion is the tight end dmer can't the snap he's going to keep it himself going to the right side and quickly tackled by the clockers Matt Terry another big play so Omari Lee was able to slow him down with a hand on the right shoulder and then his teammates were able to close in and drop him really impressive display of strength by Lee like you were talking about it wasn't a full head of Steven from dmer camp but he we know how strong he can be he is tough to bring down yeah we saw it earlier this game Lee using that one arm to just slow him down enough for the reinforcements to arrive that was a true team play yep so second and 13 now clockers a little bit late getting into their defensive alignment a little bit of confusion at the line and in the secondary look like they're all lined up now here's the snap as tight end goes back in motion watch for the option play oh it's a some movement on the line thinking neutral zone infraction offside something along the lines for that I would have thought if it was against the clockers they would have let the play run would fre neutral zone infraction they're going to call yeah off sides they let it run going have to you probably have to stop that play to just avoid any potential for injury there so just like that they give they give 10 yards to Bellingham and it's a much more manageable second and eight believe that's only going to be a 5 yard penalty five yards so illegal shift and uh neutral Z fraction are not you know not equal penalties apparently so interesting look here new new formation as number 33 John duetta Jr splits out wide to the near side tight end back in motion snap is off to Jet they hand to Perkins he's got some room ahead of steam now and he is brought down after gaining it looks like he gained a first down there Jean O'Brien very nearly making a shoelaces type tackle there unable to bring him down though and it's a first down for the for the Blackhawks okay clock stops here with 440 to go now they've started it back up again they move the chains on the far our sideline this clock is ticking we're getting getting down to the nitty-gritty at this point cler's got to you know got to get stout here give up no more than a fuel goal see how this plays out so do set again in shotgun tight end in motion's very much lined up off sides their backs off now okay he's going to keep it this time he's got blockers Cuts between two Ashen players and it's going to take three clockers to bring him down including Kevin bis and it's another first down run for Domer Kant okay so Deon O'Brien also in on the tackle there as Blackhawks now well within the Red Zone against the clockers clock continues to run we're under four minutes to go getting down to about 350 and Bellingham knocking on the door I wouldn't say a touchdown be a back breaker here Chase but it's going to be pretty close we were wondering what happened to that Bellingham Rush in attack we were wondering what specifically had happened with that one play that they had run with so much success earlier guess what they've run it four times in seven plays and they're inside the 10 yard line yeah I mean if you know obviously we had a very long layoff that injury timeout it seemed like Bellingham might have been really affected by that by their teammate getting injured you know so in such a scary manner there and so it seemed like they were a little bit flat coming back to play timeout called by Bellingham okay so but they've been able to you know regroup and uh going back to what worked for them earlier yeah yeah you know they they've been over the last few minutes they have been the better team and the the momentum seems to have swung back to Bellingham as they are now within the 10 yd line or so poised for another score with under three and a half to go here in the game these teams very evenly matched obviously reflected on the scoreboard and really just reflected in the style of play tonight it's been really really back and forth very fun game to watch here at the plate to a in high school okay and as you mentioned in the open Chase right this Bellingham team a very deceptive record three 0 and three three losses but those three losses by a total of five points and again we're we're seeing them in the in the battle for their lives here another tight game and close losses will make a team hungry and we are seeing that on the field tonight toughens them up too yeah oh yeah looking for their first win of the Season Bellingham inside the 10 yd line of the clockers first and goal okay but this is where the Ashlin defenses stood up Domer Kant is not under Center here okay let's see it is number 12 in it quarterback first time we've seen him tonight same play though hands it off to Perkins and he is brought down short of the goal line I believe well looks like Domer can't or not they brought in cam McGregor a freshman a freshman to play quarterback hey look you know all you have to do is hand the ball to Perkins how hard can that and now do can't comes back in this is weird but it netted them eight yards so right I mean it looks like they're at about the two foot line right now line Y pretty much so might be seeing another tush push play here or they'll just run the same play again and I don't know if there's much the clockers can do to stop it right now tight end goes in motion they're going to hand it off to him he's going to take the snap himself and Barrel his way into the end zone so that's why CER the sophomore tight end know you do that 2 minutes and 40 seconds left Bellingham puts another six spot on the board lot looming on this extra point try here and so far tonight head coach Dan Hadad has been playing it straight no real tricks no real surprises here he hasn't had he hasn't had to to to trick it really expect this to be just a straight up extra point I mean you know on the other side of the ball coach McKay you never quite know what's going to happen and that extra point is no good no good interesting Twist of events here Chase 2721 240 to go all their time out well maybe not all their timeouts they have two timeouts left okay two time two I could have three okay and still no two minute warning here either no two-minute warning man they've got 2 minutes and 40 seconds to work with this kickoff is also going to be interesting because they haven't started behind their own 35 yet so a shorter field would go a long way right now and I didn't see if any if any ashon player got a hand on that football it looks like he just missed it okay well you are watching Ashlin High School football on waca TV your announcers tonight Josh Abrams Chase Abrams we're glad to have you with us here Live on YouTube or if you're catching the replay tomorrow or the day after happy about that as well so uh thanks again for watching got a real real barn burner going here 2721 your clockers are down by 6 240 to go but about to receive the ball an opportunity to drive to down the field score a winning touchdown Robbie rudil joins Jason crisen in the back there we'll see if they try to Target him they haven't seen him out there yet but we know he has the return chops okay men Mendes here to kick off again for the Blackhawks goes towards rudil end over end rudil gathers it in at his 10 here he goes cutting across the field trying to get a block couldn't quite pick it up and he is down at the 27 yd line so not the best return but it's okay there's plenty plenty of time for the clockers to work with 2 minutes and 31 seconds to go they are down by six that is six not seven points an extra point will give them the lead but they got to score a touchdown first is the problem let's see what this offense can do in short in a short time period situation biggest test of the night Cam Anon it can he deliver they're going to do two wide receivers on each side cam Anon with Jason crisen to his right widespread formation five across the offensive line Anoni steps back he's going to run it little draw play running towards the sideline he'll be out of bounds no the ref is going to say keep the clock running he gets the first down runs for about 15 and there's a flag flag on the field now you're going to stop the clock yeah looked like it was towards the end of the play so we're going to see what this call was don't think it'll be a hold oh against the clockers unbelievable oh chase at least we're tied at one on guessing wrong on on referee calls well a great first down run by cam anck is going all the way back in then some it'll be first and 15 now from their own 22 okay so or they're not going to move the ball back well it's spotted at the at the 30 right now okay we're having a little trouble with the clock we're going to put reset it to 2 minutes 22 seconds to go okay so it looks like they're running the same play again but from three yards up or it's the first down again but from three yards closer than they were before okay so the scoreboard has the ball spotted at the 28 but the ball itself seems to be spotted at the 30 there we and the first down chain is farther than the original kind of confused to what's going on right now so Anon in shotgun he's looking deep down the near sideline little bit of hand fighting looking for rudicil that's going to be broken up incomplete lot of physicality at the point of cat at the at the catch point no call and it'll be second and eight yeah rudil couldn't quite complete that uh that button hook if you will to try and come back to the ball good defensive play there by the cornerback clock stops at 218 we're second second and eight now for the clockers an just couldn't seem like he could get quite enough oomph on that last pass it was probably you know the least amount of pressure he's faced from the uh uh defensive line yeah really had plenty of time to sit back and throw there which you have not seen from him at all tonight mhm okay light rain continues to fall here in Ashland as the temperature has dropped to 52 degrees and ANUK passing now he's too far he's got to split the difference there he had rudil coming across the middle but overshot the Target and that's going to bring up third and eight now I think Bellingham may have figured out who his favorite Target is Robbie rudis still getting open a few times unable to complete the hook up with Cam with Cam antonic though and now it is going to be third and long and you'd have to imagine another passing situation but it would be really tough to see them go three straight inco with three straight incompletions right after after the Bellingham touchdown biggest play of the drive so far three receivers on the far side one on the near Side Jason crisen in the backfield next to Cam antick anck he's looking down the middle he's got a receiver it goes behind and it's intercepted by the Blackhawks falling to the ground that's number 24 Sam Sullivan the sophomore for the Blackhawks and he may have just sealed the game for his team yeah he was trying to find Jacob FR across the middle but broken up and uh again the interception there by Bellingham that's a big turnover now with 202 to go in the game and Bellingham takes over at the clocker 42 yeah just a tough sequence of plays there from the clocker offense couple incompletions and then obviously the interception the defense is going to have to hold that Bellingham rushing attack for two more minutes tell you what not just not just hold the attack they're going to have to force a turnover and we've seen them do it before we know they can do it so hope is still there ball spotted at their own 43 yd line two players in the back field for the Blackhawks snap goes he's going to hand it off players going for the ball as they should pile pushing he's going to be ahead for about five or six it looks like yeah the downside of trying to punch the ball loose is the he keep the runner on his speed and pick up a couple of extra yards so the ball's going to get spotted at the clocker 3536 right in between clocks is running a minute 32 and Counting now to go this is when the longer play clock plays to some teams Advantage as they can take as much time off the clock as they want to here's the snap pick gives to Perkins right up the gut as clockers continue to try to punch it out and there's the whistle to stop the play and stop the clock with a minute five to go quick timeout from McKay it's going to be third and three when we come back and honestly if it's a close enough play I don't see why Bellingham wouldn't go for it on fourth down it would still be a long field if they can't convert I mean honestly take more time off the clock yeah I mean there's so much time left you know I would just keep you know just run as much time as I could off the clock okay so yeah minute five to go quick game reset here the Blackhawks up 2721 over the clockers third and two at the clocker 34 Andrew McKay ashy head coach called timeout going to give Bellingham something to think about got to try to rally his own troops see how it plays out do the clockers have a couple more magic moments up their sleeves okay Bellingham heads to the line stacked offensive line you've got seven men across make that eight okay D you again Perkins in the back field I got to think he's getting the ball he does he's got the first down and that should just about do it they do stop the clock as soon as he's down so exactly one minute to go that play took 5 Seconds off the clock but it's first and 10 for the for the uh for Bellingham yep and that run should completely seal it for this Blackhawks team well fought effort from both sides of the ball clockers unfortunately unable to pull out the victory so I think from here they're just going to take the knee let the clock run out it's it's you know once the ball got spotted they restarted the clock so we're down under 40 seconds to go there is in fact the knee and that should just about do it here from Clock Town may need to KNE it out one more time we'll see but nope players are going to the sideline okay so momentarily that will be your final as Bellingham Blackhawks come out on top 2721 over the clockers it turned into a heck of a game there face as Bellingham jumped out they were leading 21 to7 seem to be dominating this game throughout the first half but the clockers should put on a real good show there in the second half fought all the way back tied it to 21 but then Bellingham was able to reestablish dominance and uh punch that last touchdown across 28-21 is your final yeah like you said really really well fought game Belling him able to salvage that lead they looked a little scary for them for a second as they uh gave gave up 14 on answered to this clocker team but then able to put six back on the board themselves snatch a victory away from the jaws of defeat for their first of the year and it's a it's a seven it's a six Sixpoint swing for them and just like that they're in the plus category yeah they're in the point differential plus category this season despite that one and three record okay so again our next broadcast here on waca TV will be this Monday as girls volleyball takes on the Midway mustangs from the gym here in ashin high school five house call in the first play of the game touchdown Eagles I don't think we've ran outside Zone very well this season especially last week Hicks I know running a lot of those outside zones last week and he would get in touch right when he right when he gets the ball so first play there wow what a way to start this game and instantly looking at the iPad over here on our sideline coach hams in a coach Horner standing next to each other so great start for the Eagles there try to cap it off here with the p-a-t Keegan Thompson to do the kicking once again he's 4-4 on this season low snap picked up kicked and it goes right down middle he moves to five to five and that'll take that Mandy McGuire group scoreboard just 15 seconds into the game Columbia seven East Alton Wood River zero and that'll be another hundred dollars donated from George Weber Chevrolet so that takes the total to 500 now coming from George Weber and those 42 push-ups that we talked about the cheerleaders now we got 49 so they wrapped them up pretty quick right there so Jared zone right there just quick and simple play getting into the end zone yeah and I like using your up back what we call sniffer back and then another running back being basically your two lead blockers and that's what we saw right there uh Logan Hicks did a great job of bringing it all the way to the the numbers and then putting his foot in the ground and out running about two or three Oilers to get into the end zone great start for us great job by ribbling also blocking downfield he was able to keep his Foreigner moving downfield and did good job blocking there so we'll see where Keegan is able to pin him now the two return men I believe are number five and number nine for East Alton standing about the 15 yard line Eagan sets it deep and it's going to be returned at about the nine yard line by the guy closest to us it's going to be number six he tries to get over to the sideline over where they are and he's gonna get two about the 20-yard line where he's brought down in this Columbia Eagles defense who's kept him in every game this year gonna try to dominate here tonight and we'll see what he's talking whatever wants to come out and do like I said last year I think they had what 55 56 rushing attempts something like that something crazy I think it was 56 for 289.

see if I can pull that up real quick all right and last year they were just getting three four yards of carry 54 rushes 54 rushes 289 yards 5.35 yards of carry and they were one for one passing for 10 yards and that was a touchdown so assault and dominated last year this year it's the Eagles turn to dominate East Alton coming out showing you that size they don't have any weights and Heights listed but they're big number two is going to be the running back he's going to take the quick hand off just an ISO right up the middle good for about three yards before getting brought down by a few Eagles in the middle I believe LED with Brandon Jackson to make the attack gonna be second down and six from the 24. let's see coach Maine wants to bring a blitz here on second down make it third and long see if you can get in the backfield early three down lineman for the Eagles showing Blitz out of the top looks like that's going to be Keegan low snap picked up number two is going to get it again somebody got him in the backfield but he's going to be able to gain two third down and four I think that was her that could got in the backfield right away but he's able to spin out third and manageable four right here yeah 34 here see if number 13.

he's trying to drive try to get us off sides here so we need to pay attention to the ball so pick up a first down here for jump off sides [Music] two out wide for the Oilers running back to the left we're gonna do a reverse it's coming around back to us now with number six great job making the play in the backfield and bringing them down Force down now for the Oilers number six Smith Smith [Applause] getting that backfield and just get a hand on them [Music] fourth in six old strategy here ribbling runs back now deep just in case in quarterback number 11 is gonna go back penalty flag on the play false start on the Oilers gonna be a loss of five fourth and 11 now Oilers this might be the biggest crowd we've had all season it is absolutely packed here right now I thought with a lot of them being the junior cheerleaders I thought it was going to uh clear out pretty quick but they were sticking around blind deep all the way around big drop there out of the punter and it's going to be caught no drought there was a fair catch wave four by ribbling bounced off his hands and luckily it went straight up to him again and the Eagles are going to start over First and Ten now from the Oilers 45 yard line I still don't get that play there because he Fair catches it that happened against uh was it Waterloo whenever the fumble yeah they Fair called it and I mean you wouldn't drop the ball there I think I feel like that should be a live ball yeah I guess that's a different rule in high school football it's all different personal ten here for the Eagles good field position looks like it's gonna be covered two here for East Alton they got too safe I guess it's a safety he's just playing about 12 yards deep here biltman's gonna be your slot receiver doesn't have anybody over the top with him right now doubles all the way around for the Eagles cam Janik is going to be your running back to the right side four down lineman motion man is going to be Rippling it's a Jacksonville to him he's going to get up field penalty flag throwing on the play before Lucas gets thrown out of bounds would have been a gain of five and it's going to be a loss because of the Holdings and that's something that we've kind of seen all year you see the first two plays coach Warner outside Zone and then letting his wide receiver get a little Jacksonville Jet Sweep there somebody missed their block and got caught with a holding there so they're gonna bring him back oh loss of ten first and 20 now from the Eagles 45-yard line first play of the game went 58 yards rushing touchdown by Hicks same formation once again four down lineman three linebackers for the Oilers running back to the right side motion man once again is going to be Rippling they're going to fake it to him this time it's gonna run to the left he's gonna get near the initial sticks before getting dropped back gonna be a gain of seven second and 13 coming to you after this I don't know why I just remembered this but on that last draft when we were on defense I've never understood as a lineman whenever they get like piled driving around and then the other line it just lays on top of them like I never understood I thought I think it's hilarious it's just a lime and just laying on you for five seconds till the play's over Jace Nelson coming back from an injury last week he's going to be your pistol back behind vaguely who's going to have a sniffer back to the right doubles to the right side as well ball on the left hash gonna be hand off to Nelson right up the middle he's got enough to get a first down for the Eagles good hole good run for Columbia First and Ten from the 34-yard line looking pretty solid tonight and then everybody's hands we haven't really seen Mason have to do too much yet which is always a good thing Sam dunny and ribling good to be closest to us Peyton Andrews is going to be your sniffer back Hicks running back Dalton rainwater the single receiver to the top of the screen all in the middle of the Fiat 750 remaining they're gonna do a little bubble route to Jace and there's no stop blocking on that play and it's going to be a loss of five first and or second and fifteen now after the Jason Nelson down here closest to us and that's almost just a setup play for later in the game Wheel route that we've seen a couple times [Music] now they're going to have three guys over here over the top of the double set safety looks like he's going to be showing Blitz he doesn't Blitz they're gonna run right up the middle I believe that's Janet it is Janet he gets up to the 30 gain of seven we'll call it third down and seven for the Eagles here Brandon Jackson comes off [Applause] Brian Jackson Maybe jumping off the field Jason musk up comes on now Cason's gonna come in as a guard Brody Furlow doing the snapping doubles to the left side doubles all the way around now running back to the right hard count for the Eagles and that's going to be a five-yard penalty brings up now a third and two sure let's do a section letting them know that you cannot do that very good student section up here they're in their black attire as well and they are lined up all the way to the last row so good job there by Mr sandstrom getting the blue crew out tonight and it's all them tailgating before the game same formation doubles running back to the right motion man's gonna be ribbling they just fake nothing to him Hicks is going to go right up the middle he's got a hole he's going to get brought down but it's not until he gains a bunch of yards and the offensive line continuing to push getting positive yardage person playing Eagles inside the red zone by that offensive line so far in this drive as well [Applause] full backfield this time for the Eagles we're going to have Andrews being the tight end to the right side single receiver out left two running backs on each side and Mason pistol back is going to be the guy who gets the ball didn't get to see who that was I mean Nixon he's gonna gain three second down and we'll give him four yards there second down and six just over 520 Eagles offense clicking here early in this homecoming game with two teams coming in looking for that first victory this year Eagles have not gone 0-6 since 2000.

trying to avoid it have never had an 0-9 season in 51 years of football doubles running back to the right side six guys in the Box they fake it up Mason keeps it he could get into the end zone without getting touched he [Applause] [Music] because [Music] they had to discuss it'll come back to chips well it wasn't just quite yet holding penalty on the play gonna be a second down and six now [Applause] Mason could have kept running straight which is what he did he had a cut back going too he had everything open for him it was a good read like you had said right off the bat watching that defensive end making that read if he comes at you you hand it off if he goes to the running back you keep it Mason did what he's supposed to do there so after the penalty doubles to the left side sniffer back right running back pistol back is going to be Yannick he's going to get the football he spins around after getting grabbed he's going to get near the first down I don't think he's gonna get it gonna get maybe three of the six that he needed so it's gonna be third down now or three eagles need the eight yard line they're on the 11.

maybe you want to go [Music] Heaven under four minutes now in the game clock 10 seconds on the play clock as you can see in the top right of your screen doubles running back left fumbled snap they're gonna hand it'll go up the middle though Mason's gonna get near the goal line are they going to give it to him no they're gonna say he's short just bounced off his hands Jared to replay early now we're gonna go heavy [Applause] yeah I mean if you're amazing you see an opening right right down the middle and you have a play call for uh for a running play I mean just try to get in that end zone look at number 53 there in the middle he's a load five seconds now Mason going under Center [Music] gonna be a quarterback sneak and it's going to be a second effort is he gonna get in he is touchdown Eagles on the second effort from Base today after getting hit initially keeps his feet moving and he gets into the end zone so with that George Weber Chevrolet donates another hundred dollars taking their total to 600 for the year with the six touchdowns the Eagles have scored are these our first is this our first lead of the year gotta be I can't remember if we scored first or if Mater's a scored first week see what the binder has to say this might be our only lead of the the whole season so far better snap this time and it's still nothing different Keegan Thompson straight through the uprights and good so that Mandy McGuire group scoreboard lead the Reese Columbia 14 East Alton Wood River zero we're gonna head to a break and we'll be back on kchs Eagles leading this one right after this [Music] [Applause] welcome back to kchs where the Eagles have the first lead of the Season leading this one 14-0 thanks for listening to us on kchs make sure you let us know where you're listening from as Keegan boots this one down and it gets into the end zone and I was talking with Coach Warner and as always his mother was listening from Florida and he said she still enjoys it every week so make sure you let us know comment like us message us whatever it's got to be we'll get you on air and let people know where they're coming from I talked to the Kendall family they were all going to be going back to coach Kendall's house to watch the kids and take in the ball game so good start here for the Eagles looks like they're going to start here on the 20-yard line off that touch back by Keegan Thompson like we were talking about last week I mean it's nice having a kicker that you can Kick It In The End Zone and have your defense start on the 20-yard line he's Dalton gets their guys moved around gonna be a quarterback run this time he fakes like he's going to go up the middle he bounces around a little bit and he's going to get about four second down and we're gonna run three yards actually second and seven coming at you Brandon Jackson is back in the game I believe he was yeah he is middle of the field there no he's not it's 65.

Brandon's down here on the sideline yet so I couldn't imagine being a a big league guy I mean we're pretty close compared to what they're doing I guess they're just watching the screen there too so it makes it a little easier on them four down lineman this time for the Eagles three linebackers man-to-man on the outside low snap picked up given to number two he tries going right up the middle he's gonna gain maybe four third down in a manageable three looks like they're going to be run heavy as they were last year not really looking to throw the ball down the field down by number 65 Josiah Miller they do get in that huddle before each play so something to look out for too Josiah Miller gets the tackle he's number 65 on the sheet so that's the uh the number I was looking at Josiah is a junior in the middle has your nose guard gonna be a pass player rolling out to the right side number 11's looking for a man he's got a man he's got number seven Damian Jackson good for about 15 yards First and Ten for the Oilers so that receiver there looks like a linebacker this Garden [Applause] had a lot of time back there so great job by the offensive line to get that quarterback some time pick up the first down Cooper white comes on Logan Hicks comes off trips to the left side tight end in there somewhere running back to the right quarterback's keeping himself he's going to try to dance around nothing going though he gets maybe two and I think there's 10 Eagles around the ball right there the only one who has built him in covering his man downfield so good job by the Eagles swarming to the football number 23.

good boy so the light comes in right on cue comes in first play gets the tackle he's been on your pancake all year it's not got a lot of time playing but when he's been in he sticks his nose in there and we'll put a hit on him four down lineman now three linebackers gonna be a run play up the middle running back just ran right in front of his pulling guard he's got to get moving gain of two third and six [Music] [Applause] that'll do it the Eagles lead it 14-0 on that manual wire Scoreboard when we come back in the second quarter Garrett will be doing the play-by-play we'll be back on kchs right after this [Applause] [Music] [Applause] whoa as you just saw there Ethan Hogan and Abby van house got honored for state champions last year in track Ethan the 3200 Abby and triple jump gonna be a quick little bubbler out there for East Alton Falls incomplete Ethan is still running here in Columbia as a senior I believe this year is a freshman at Eastern Illinois so still some positive future ahead for those two in their track track and field careers so congratulations to the two of them in the third and fourth quarter we will be honoring the boys golf team who is in their playoff run right now I guess you'd say I think they are heading to sectionals as a team so that's another great accomplishment for Eagles golf fourth and sixth inside little run try doing a little that's fancy stuff there Boise State almost oh yeah there you go regardless it's a loss or a turnover on Downs they needed six they got four Colombia's offense is gonna take over and Jared you get called to 50 yard line see how this goes [Applause] it's gonna be hard for me not talk and start out and doubles right here sniffer back right most likely going to run to the right side here would be my guess baby takes a snap and fakes the handoff and he's got some room oh he's gonna score Alex my first call touchdown to the house fake 50-yard touchdown run to the crib to the crib that was a good job there by the two pulling I think that was Kish and I want to say it was Simmons I believe of course I missed their numbers right away but two big guys coming around the corner and doing a great job leading the way and making a hold there for Mason to get into the end zone freaking Thompson on do the p-a-t two for two tonight good snap good hold looks good and it is good right now and with that George Weber Chevrolet another hundred dollars gets donated cheerleaders uh 7 21.

now you got to do another 21 push-ups with that 42 push-ups for the night they've doubled their push-up total now for the uh for the year so they're gonna get a little tired now I got a feeling you did a great job Jared keep it going bud I'm sweating up here you're just very muggy it isn't it's hot in here right now and you ripped my head off right when we got back that thing many chords I know nice to see Doug Steinmetz out there officiating tonight didn't have to make a far drive a Columbia guy doing a great thing with being an official in the ihsa they're always looking for officials gonna be a little bit of a squib gonna get near the out of bounds before it gets picked up by number nine there for East Alton looked like he was going to try to let it go but instead picked it up before Colombia could get down there good job running down the field for the Eagles all right Jared one for one on touchdowns let's not do the touchdown call again I might just I might just do Columbia's offense still lots of fans in here too from I mean the whole right side fence is filled all the way to when you walk into the gate nice to see a couple of the floats made it down there had some Top Gun Mamma Mia and I can't tell I think that's a sophomores in the middle there I can't remember what they had what their theme was Hollywood was the the main theme they had the the decorations in the hallways glass colors green games today in red blue and white the freshman not really sure that's just a bad mental problem there for the Eagles jumping off sides at the penalty and that's not what you want but offsides on the Eagles five yard penalty the freshmen were stranger things great show I've never seen a great shirt I got my parents hooked on in there what were the sophomores Juniors with Top Gun Mamma Mia seniors can't remember the South floors now first and five Jared you're doing playback here we go how many doubles left here on this first and five I'm gonna send the guy in motion he's gonna almost be a lead blocker for the quarterback gonna pick up the first down looks like it and almost a broken play turns into a first down there I'm gonna have the ball in the 30.

it's 11 30 left in this first half down on the sideline Brandon Jackson has his pads off on crutches so not a good sign for that sophomore's theme Wizard of Oz it's like tight end left here with that motion guy to the left gonna snap it fake handoff to number two quarterback's got some room on this side I'm gonna get pushed out of bounds by looks like Peyton Andrews nine or ten he might be close to his first down maybe a little short Aidan erlica was the defensive end on this side he just lost contained bit down a little too hard on the play action quarterback made the good read and hold it and Payton even uh whenever he whenever he uh got back into the backfield even spun around a couple times trying to figure out who had the ball yeah he got me on that when I was watching the running back number one for the Eagles ayton Andrews looks like we got a timeout East Alton and the second one 10 56 left in his first half want to stay here you're in play-by-play man you're in charge you got any uh homecoming memories from your high school days you know we kind of talked about that the other night I don't really know if I do I can't really remember mine one one we uh didn't really do anything crazy you did the typical high school stuff the tpn I saw a couple houses around town this week and had some some interesting places for toilet paper to be thrown they uh a house in Creekside this tree was absolutely loaded and it was high too like they did a great job on it um that happened one time at our house and it never happened again not anymore I cracked it down on all the students at school we used to take I don't know if we should talk about this on here I'm giving kids ideas we used to take rubber bands because if you try to sweep when we throw them on the driveway because if you try to sweep up the rubber bands they just roll up on each other so you had to go pick them up yeah yeah we did the tping we had the fun I think you know seniors probably won the spirit stick feel like that happens most years yeah all right second and one here and have doubles left almost a stiffer back to that right side gonna fake the handoff and run a simple out route it looks like a big tight end number 44 and he's gonna make that catch and good enough for a first down good looking drive here so far free salt and Wood River as they're moving the chains again like you said earlier whenever the linemen get a pancake block and they just lay on top of them I think Hudson Brighton I hadn't heard that they both were underneath number 53.

they just sit there he just sat there yeah he wasn't letting him get up so he just said you're going to stay here person 10 from 49. you have that tight end to the left so almost a trips left set there and hand it off to number six he's gonna reverse field cut it back up looks like Logan Hicks there first guy to get his hands on him good job by that running back turned it lost it about one or two into a Gainer one or two make it second and eight Logan Hicks on the tackle for Columbia Hayden got back there once again and when the guy reversed Fields got just underneath threw his arm out but luckily Hicks was right there the play East Alton taking pretty good control here of the clock in this second quarter they've already had it for over two minutes going back into the first quarter so this rushing offense holds on to the football a lot trips right quarterback's Gonna Roll out to this side he's gonna tuck it and run he had a guy down field but decided to try to get some extra yards by himself only gonna pick up maybe a yard gonna be third and six here let's see if coach remains yards by The Eagles flowing once again they just stretched that that play out wide making the quarterback make a decision and whenever he tried to cut back the guys who were flowing to the football were able to make the tackle big number 73 there for the Eagles Lincoln Corbin did a great job getting down the line right there he's got himself big old cast on the right hand look on this left side here nothing there but got a big old mid on their right hand but at least gonna have to burn another time out here 8 40.

left in this first half Eagles are up 21 nothing we'll head to a break now we'll be right back Eagles are up 21 nothing on kchs [Applause] welcome back to kchs third down in seven for the Oilers coach Horner trying to get the Eagles fans into it gonna be a slant play across the middle and it falls incomplete luckily because that slant was open there got to give a shout out there to Dallin Stevens just did a flip just on a vertical big fourth down here it looks like Oilers are the 45 yard line ball is on the right hash gonna be a trips left they just motion that tied into this right side so somebody's gonna have to be locked onto him quarterback gets the snap Gonna Roll left it's gonna look down field two guys in his face looks like that's Cam janick there first one he's gonna have a sack push him out of bounds that's gonna be a turnover on bounds it's going to be Eagles football at about the 40 morning energetics seven yards gonna be a turnover run down great job there by Jackson biltman did a great job holding on to his receiver and not letting him get open and once the quarterback decided to run Jackson blew out of the cannon to help make the tackle damn look like eagles will take over at the 49-yard line 51 yards to the end zone here would be nice right before halftime go up four scores oh Winans coming out limping a little bit Jason Muska comes on late douche backfield doubles to the right looks like two linebackers are shifting around gonna hand the ball off to looks like Hicks once again maybe no gain on the play actually I don't know if that was six there looks like muskop came in for one play I'm always hobbling off for this boy Lincoln Corbin coming in for him now I believe is going to be in that guard position with furlough still doing the snapping duties that was Jason Nelson on that last carry not Logan Hicks Chase comes off and cam comes on Deuce backfield again doubles to the right again looks like rainwater single receiver over here to this left side bagley's gonna drop back to pass he's going to take a shot downfield he's got rainwater it's gonna be a little bit too much great ball foot too far put it in a spot where if anybody was gonna go get it it was going to be Dalton Rainwater the sail a little bit over his head a little bit out of bounds bring up third and ten in that point that you made right there a lot of people just see that that's an incomplete pass and darn it's an incomplete pass but it's a great ball you know it's your guy and your guy only is going to make that play so yeah it looks like it's a bad incompletion but in reality not too not too shabby they're automation yeah whatever you do to never throw it short I'm sure you heard that all the time or anything throw it over their head or throw it out of bounds make your receiver go get it looks like coach Horner not happy once again saw this last week with him I already had to burn a timeout but I mean you get it's third and ten talk this play over I believe at halftime they will have the coronation coming or not coronation but they will be showing all of the homecoming festivities and who's on Court and everything like that so I'm believing we are going to be showing you that here on kchs during halftime it's going to be a 20 minute halftime so just like last week a little bit longer half time to get everything shown and Jared look at this first half it's a game that Eagles are leading at 21-0 and uh a little bit of feel but now it seems like it's kind of going a little stagnant now yeah especially on the offensive side of the ball we look pretty good every time we've had the ball um Mason looking really good tonight making uh two good reads two good pulls to get himself from the end zone um a line also playing really well tonight opening a lot of lanes for these running backs to get through and then Coach Warner just giving give him the call to his athletes foreign gonna be doubles to the left sniffer back left single receiver up top I think Mason keeps it here you want to visit Zone I think he's throwing this ball oh he's gonna hand it off looks like Logan Hicks gonna come to this sideline gonna cut out field and he's gonna have the first down Logan a little bit of a late hit there [Applause] Logan Hicks got up and did not like that started walking back at one of the oiler players that hit him late [Applause] great job blocking there once again out of the Eagles wide receivers and a good job on Logan to recognize which way they were shoving their guys and uh read the blocks like con but on the defense for that late hit there with the dead ball 15 yards First and Ten straight run there by Hicks though outside and see chugging along the sideline and put his head down and take a late hit there Eagles on the Michael Jordan yard line 23.

[Music] MJ looks like we're gonna have doubles here looks like Jason Nelson is the back ball on the left hash and the sand looks like built him in motion gonna fake the handoff to him rainwater in the middle looks like Mason's Gonna Keep the ball he's going to run to the right side gonna have the first down gonna try to pick up the touchdown and he does there at the end that was something last week that got to like a five yard line and he just ran out of bounds and this week decided to try to get in the end zone for his third rushing touchdown of this first half [Music] that brings the score 27 nothing on that Manny Maguire scoreboard Keegan Thompson on now to try the extra point [Applause] Jace Nelson having to run on late now little sweet feet there at the end of the Juke at the to get in there Mason on the whole he can do in the kitchen with SNAP good hold it is up and it is good Eagles push the score up to 28 nothing now with 7 25 in this first half a great start here for the Eagles yeah I'd like to see if we can get this even to a running clock and yeah this is the Columbia football that we're accustomed to seeing so it's good to see it here tonight [Music] [Applause] one thank you that we haven't given yet this year to Josh rushing helping with the camera duties on home games and doing all the computer work on road games and last week if you watched our our pregame show the AC while pregame show we had no audio whenever we first started talking and then whenever we came back we figured out the audio but then our headsets weren't working so without Josh I don't think me and Jared would have known what was going on Josh right away knew that uh that it wasn't registering the microphones apparently you got to turn the computer on but before plugging something in or I don't know what it was he tried to explain it so thank you to Josh for volunteering and coming out and helping on kchs we scored in two quarters what we did in 20 quarters wow [Applause] it's gonna give a big bounce oh you better pick it up I'm going to be picked up at about the four yard line Eagles already down there breaks a couple tackles could have had him inside about the six or seven yard line but only gonna get up to looks like about the 11 yard line where the Oilers will take over with 720 left in this second quarter I think that was number 30 there Logan has Vito getting down and making contact about the five you said Mason had somebody in the mid Dalton right in the very middle of the field and Dalton was throwing both hands up but there's a lot going on in a short amount of time so it's gonna be for 12 yard line you might have a delay a game you're getting close under three seconds now trips to the left gonna just hand it off we're on the inside Zone up the middle four or five white hats all on the ball there only a gain of we'll say two second and eight if you're the Oilers here we've had a couple of down by numbers decent drives where you get the ball to Mid to Midfield and then you just kind of stall out we have to go for it on Fourth and long I haven't really been able to convert on those and that's why the score looks like it does gonna be a single receiver to the left side quarterback's just gonna take it and run up the Middle with it gonna break a few tackles maybe a gain of three or four there looked like 72 rolls off the pile there except Don Robinson 73 Lincoln Corbin and 88 hertlica bring up third down Mason came into that play late at the very end and right away I watched he went for the football and when he got off the pile he was the one that handed the ball to the officials so you always hear about you know hold on to the guy and somebody else go for the ball and that was Mason's idea he went straight for it Time Out East Alton 553 in the first half it's all Eagles so far in this first half and trying to get on the the win column for the first time like we said in the Ace wild pregame show both teams coming in at 0-5 so somebody's gonna leave here with the Victory and right now let's hope nothing gets messed up and that'll be the Eagles Jared if you have any homecoming memories that were you ever on court yeah were you no no yeah I can't think of I think we played Salem maybe my Casino remember it's been so many years of doing this they all run together yeah it all just meshes together I think we played Westland we were victorious you never want to lose on your homecoming night I mean we've mentioned a couple times how many people are out here tonight so you never want to lose on in any home game but especially homecoming when all the alumni are coming back and you want to make it an enjoyable experience for everyone that comes out yeah I'm losing that game just makes that dance the next day just word or something like so coming out of here with the wind is always nice third and three trips left quarterback's gonna drop back to pass and he's going to be taking a shot downfield number seven oh definitely gonna be a penalties around there Peyton Andrews bear hugging the man flag was thrown ball was in the air for 10 years yeah I suppose incomplete ass interference I would imagine and that's what it's going to be painting on that one uh just even at the start he had his back to the quarterback so he never even saw the ball go up in the air nothing and I guess I would imagine he's got to be coached to do that but like I said he has no idea what's going on he's just watching strictly what that wide receiver is doing so I don't know he was just in a tough position there because he was the ball was thrown short and that receiver kind of had him beat so he had to come back for it so he kind of just grabbed him a little bit a little bit a lot of it he hugged him quarterback gets the snap gonna hand it off to number two again [Music] and that d-line's looking pretty good tonight not really getting in the backfield but not getting any push back you see the quarterback tap him on the back then he handed it off and like give him a pat on the back holding down that defensive line right now [Applause] looks like Hudson Grant cam Janik Logan Hicks look at Andrew's game trips left he's gonna look to pass again he's gonna take a shot downfield that ball will be uncatchable incomplete bring up third and six here complete same way again though he had his back if you look at biltiman on the other side Milton's watching the quarterback and Andrews is just with his back to the quarterback so same way again had no idea what was going on thank you from Cincinnati Lincoln Corbin's grandparents so there's another state we need to get a map inside here see if Mr Nickerson can do this get all 50 states we need to just scratch them off as we get to him gonna be reverse here number six down and somebody read that like a book cam Janik backside he just waited there basically just caught that caught the runner there one we'll see if this offense wants to go for it here we've gone for it on almost every fourth down tonight besides one I believe which was the first drive I think they're gonna kick this one here yeah there we go we go back up three blink back to receive this Punt and about the 35 yard line and that ball went straight up in the air I'm gonna take a bounce towards that sideline going for a touchdown here I think so I think if you're coach Warner uh take a chance take a chance go up 35 nothing come out punch one more in Eagles good job there by Keegan Thompson he come flying out up the middle there trying to get the block and it was a little short but good attempts made for sure I also think to try to burn some of this clock down as much as you can get in the halftime I just said we need to go for it he just said we need to burn the clock that's my all that's my offensive mindset Begley's gonna take the snap turn around and hand it to Yannick makes a good cut to that right side breaks a couple tackles not till he had the first down a gain of about 17 yards and then you go first down just like we've seen all night Columbia's picking up first downs something we haven't seen really all year let me get in the end zone great run by Yannick there just running downhill and lowering the shoulder pads same play on the same play with Yannick and he's gonna do the same exact thing good stiff arm there Runs Out of Bounds gain of seven we'll call him second and three and if I'm coach Warner I'm like run the same play again Jason Nelson coming in now for Atlantic two seconds probably 30 or 30 yards nearly 30 yards on two runs more than we had rushing all of last week 22 yards rushing last week 30 on two plays the ninth doubles right sniffer right looks like that's Jason Nelson now gonna run a quick bubble route out to riebling he's gonna have the first down runs a man over first year football player you love seeing that lowering his shoulder number two you can get up the first down in this first half biltman comes on Peyton Andrews comes off [Music] now I go I take a shot here Mason's definitely got the arm strength looks like they're just straight up man-to-man out here too so if you can give you a good route combination and vaguely throw the ball out and feel it legally gonna stand in the pocket simple little out route to Belton and that cannot be caught I don't think drop should go against the quarterback that ball just right through his hands right there they keep more stats on the quarterback as an incomplete pass in the receiver on a drop there was a good Block in there too and Jackson's guy he was a good six yards off so that's someone who even you said before the game that we want to see him get that ball in his hands a little more and he had a chance there just couldn't really grab the ball gonna go trips left again scrimmage all right it looked like he tried pulling it right as there was two defensive linemen already in his face and they kind of just got stuck together and went backwards and unfortunately that we haven't seen that play tonight but that's like what we've seen most of the year yeah so for that to be our first negative play with 305 in the first half to really be talking about that that's not bad I lost about five day or third and 15 now now coach Warner probably run a little roll out to this side or give one of his guys a chance one-on-one gonna be doubles looks like Jason Nelson's gonna be that up back gonna send the guy in motion fake that oh he's got two guys deep shot hasn't thrown it yet still looking downfield and just decides to throw it out of bounds had two or three guys downfield didn't want to take the shot like holy smokes they were wide open those guys bit so hard on the Jacksonville motion Savage Warner on the bottom right here see that safety dive up throw the ball that's what you work on all week now it's Fourth and 15.

the eagles look like they're gonna send the punt team out this one away those guys didn't have anybody with unseen playing field who was it I don't even remember who it was low snap picked up by vaguely gonna get the punt off gonna take a good bounce let that roll I'm gonna be inside the five but could have got it down closer to the one yard line can't really tell who's first one down there it looks like Hudson Bryant and Dalton rain water down to recover that punt good bounce for vaguely he would have had himself a touchdown if he let that arm loose I wish we had replay we could show you how wide open those guys those corners and the defensive backs they bit so hard on that Jacksonville motion so that might be something we can come back a little later if we need to score anyway wide version 10 from the six 24 left they're just going to run the ball here try to get the halftime only down four scores gain of three we'll call it four second and six and I don't know if you agree with me but coach or do anything special just try to get the half time they get the ball coming out of half too trips to the right side tight end left and split out has a wide receiver a little bit of a size Advantage for East Alton quarterback drops back the pass he's gonna look down the middle of the field overthrew him number six was the intended receiver or Denny on that coverage over there I think it was built on third down and six he might be I think you do stay aggressive I'm not a big fan of that play called by East Alton if you want to run the clock down as much as you can because now you're stuck with a third and seven then you got to get a first down and if you punt Eagles are probably gonna get the ball right around Midfield with enough time to go score and now they're just going to run the ball up the middle again I'm gonna be close to the first down I have it didn't get touched till right at the first down marker official on our side here is giving to him and they are going to give it to him third and sixth one vehicle I don't know what happened on the interior for the Eagles but it wasn't good it was a big Lane there for that running back they've been running that play all night long it's a simple inside Zone so that number two who's getting every bit of two yards to three yards of carry I'd say but you just can't convert on fourth down all night long looks like they're gonna have trips to the left basically with a single receiver to this right we're gonna run the same play and he gets stuck let's go looks like it might have been 52 Jason muster number 52 he's in muskob on the attack he's been a guy all year that's been getting in the backfield great job on that defensive line it's like there's a timeout called second and 12.

now about a third of a mile a little bit over a quarter timeout Eagles good job there by Logan and Mason running the alleys and making that tackle pushing them back to the five 37 seconds now very quiet second quarter there like I said good flow good feel in the first quarter and I've gone down to nothing here in a second you look over East Dalton's got almost that whole grandstands packed couple people on the fence line wanna be on his sides can't really even find an empty seat down there can't find much empty fence either they're down in the end zone even wrapped around this looks I'm sure there's a bunch sitting on the hill over there too what about going under Center this time tight end power someone tackle me exactly Zach bailed over down there he started at the 15 he was out he made a life decision there getting out of there hold on Peyton Andrews big thing there no big boy [Applause] wildcat with a tight end there gained about seven eight yards on it too fourth and 12th and they bring them out are they using him as quarterback now looks like he's going to be doing quarterback he ran out of bounds so that should have stopped the clock they have the Corey Pharmacy scoreboard here at the Columbia multi-purpose field at 15 seconds officials wanted to go to 29.

they look across the Way East Alton coaches are all motioning that should be running but with him going out of bounds yeah you go for a Blue Block here two good luck reading all these guys 44-58 11. there's a punter now they got to get up to the ball 10 seconds under under 10 in the play clock fourth and 12th here and drop back to punt it almost if anything it's only going to be a seven yard six yard punt man Eagles nearly got another block so it's still got 23 seconds here punch one in the end zone I've run that same motion that we just missed the touchdown oh I know what I'm running 25 yards I think I'm running I don't know what that's called just yell it out to him Come Running hurricane oh I got that one I mean trips to the left side doubles to the right we're in an empty set here legally's gonna get the snap gonna drop back the pass he's gonna throw it up towards Riesling he's going to come down with it at the five he's going to be in the end zone another Columbia Eagles touchdown s nothing nothing special on that play they just went straight to it good adjustment there by ribbling Weber Chevrolet dead believe it he was that touchdown scorer last week when we ran that little Razzle Dazzle trick play to make it 7-7 now Keegan Thompson on with a p-a-t I miss Begley doing the hold [Music] good snap good hole good pressure off that outside but gonna be up there take that Mandy wire group scoreboard go up to 35-0 and we'll stick here with you only 18 seconds there's your worry another hundred dollars donated by George Weber Chevrolet takes it to 500 tonight 900.

on the season this is the Eagle football that we're accustomed to watching and custom machine with all these points going up good to see you back and going right now yeah and it's been a tough I know for the coaches and the players it's been a tough five weeks um he's been in every single game pretty much besides that Roxanna one we have a chance to go down and possibly win the game but couldn't even get in the end zone on a couple of those games so especially those coaches and players gotta I'm feeling a little bit happier tonight it takes the push-up total for tonight 105 push-ups and Thompson send this one deep robbed at the 15-yard line picked up by number nine good job to get down the field and make a tackle right around Alex Johnson Dalton rainwater good job running down making the tackle 13 seconds to go before the halftime show begins we'll head to a break whenever the halftime show begins and getting things set up let the band get going and I'm sure we will film what Campbell [Music] welcome back to the Life Community Church halftime show presented by Life Community Church here in town Royal coming to you live on kchs from the Columbia multi-purpose field where a night that we're used to seeing Columbia leading this one 35-0 over the East Alton Wood River Oilers and in the game 0-5 or so and five it's what we expected we had a little bit of a run and then in the end it kind of got a little sloppy at the end of the second quarter there but regardless Eagles are on top right now yeah good flow in that first quarter like you said got a little slow in that second quarter but I mean overall you can't ask for a better first half on both sides of the ball shutout and scoring 35 points uh more than we've scored all year so um I can't nothing really bad to talk about this week um line looks really good Mason vaguely has looked really good on that uh as quarterback running the ball and pulling it so he's done a pretty good job tonight and that's something that we've looked for all year is trying to see something like that happen we've had some big plays out of our wide receivers and um you know they're they're playing pretty well tonight so it's that's all we could ask for him to do and haven't got any unofficial stats but I would say hands down the most yards we've had in the game all together we did it in the first half so last week 22 yards rushing like we said cam had two rushes for 30 yards so it was a good good half all the way around in our alignment really opened up some holes there for all the running backs and quarterback yeah and even that defensive side of the ball he's Solomon Rivers had decent drives they've started every drive around the 10-yard line I'd say and they've got all the way to Midfield but then they just stalled out on fourth down I'd say four or five times already tonight so our defenses look pretty solid like I said but um I want to see us get to 40 and get this running clock going it would be nice to have a running clock something that we haven't seen even you know they've been close to with the bad lucks this year I mean for a couple years that's all we saw were running clocks there for a while so um you know it was a fun half the call we got two minutes yet and then they're gonna add another three minutes on to the clock uh for the stretching and everything so whenever it boils down to it you know you got five minutes you got to try to get that happy ending here and uh go into the dance tomorrow night with uh with Victorious and like you said it's always more fun after you get that win yeah it's gonna be not not very fun for bran Jackson if he has to go to the dance on questions yeah yeah he's a little banged up right now he's uh we he did leave one crutches I think Houston was hobbling around a little bit he was going back and forth getting into the uh into the play a little bit later on too so couple injuries there that are going to pay attention to see if they come back but Brandon did have his pads and everything off so he's probably not going to be coming back tonight so what's your one thing like you said you want to see that running clock we're about four minutes now from the second half what are your thoughts and how are we going to get that running clock you're just going to go for it right away I think well overall I feel like coach Warner has kind of got everyone involved tonight we've seen uh riebling with a couple catches had that touchdown catch um tried to get the ball that built him in a couple times on those little uh bubble routes um Jace Logan Hicks and cam janick are all getting positive yardage tonight um running the ball and then like I said earlier Mason has three rushing touchdowns tonight I think he threw for two of them so I mean overall um I'd say just keep doing what you're doing get your ball out to your to your athletes and I want to see either Dalton rainwater or I want to see Danny get in the end zone I don't think either one of them have a touchdown yet I know uh Denny does not but you know Logan Hicks first play of the game 50 was 58-yard rushing Zone to the outside it was just a simple play but that's how the Eagles got the store scoring started and hopefully there's a little bit more to come here in the second half I'd like to see the goose egg stay up on the defensive side of the football they've been doing what they got to do we're gonna do what we got to do we're gonna flip this around we're gonna head to a break and whenever we come back outside of This Life Community Church halftime show we'll bring you the second half action from Homecoming in Columbia at the Columbia multi-purpose field right after this [Music] welcome back to kchs in a week six matchup in the Cahokia conference Eagles and Oilers Eagles all first half 35 nothing and we come out of this Life Community Church halftime show and one big thank you need to go to Jill Dickerson at the high school secretary for everything she does with homecoming from the games the dance the festivities the she does it all so thank you to Jill Dickerson on another wonderful homecoming week here in Columbia we would also like to thank Joe bacardi's and the Columbia quarterback club for supplying food and dinner for all of the volunteers that come on Friday nights and make everything possible Deacon Thompson gonna set it deep and it is going to be returnable it's going to bounce at the 14.

big number 44 is coming at you and ahead of steam and a great job by bilzeman getting down there along with I believe that was number 30 again 44 for the Eagles Logan svedo to make the tackle and there was a life decision made there again with number 44 coming full head of steam it just got out of the way and went for the ankle so East Alton is going to start at their own 20-yard line after a minimal return on the kickoff to start the second half three down lineman gonna be four down alignment as Hudson Bryant comes up late four down lineman three linebackers it's just gonna be power right up the Middle with number 44. nothing fancy nothing special just coming right at you that's funny because me and Mr Wetzel are talking at halftime and he said give it to 44 on that position every time he's gonna get you four or five yards remember it's a little wildcat with him that's what they did there second now I mean if you do that three times first down every time looks like they're gonna come out have him back quarterback again looks like they might run the same play same formation 44 gets the snap gonna run to the right great backside tackle looks like is that case in musk off again all over the field tonight getting a lot of time this this season uh defensive line hi doing well tonight bring up third and six what are you gonna do now on this one loser than that one now you got to try to get six yards yeah and 11's still their quarterback's still over there on that sideline so it looks like they're going to be in the same formation again third time in a row they're just gonna run it straight down at you again good job by the Eagles that time looks like that's Cooper weich making the tackle there no missed tackles there's four guys that had to bring them down but nobody missed anything another listener coming from Cuba Missouri thank you to a former quarterback of CJ Schlemmer listening from Cuba he's at Frisco's eating some dinner he said so former quarterback there [Applause] gonna be a punt this time number 11 comes out steps back and Eagles are going to go to the block and they get the block great job Hayden heard looking getting back there making the block and the Eagles are there to jump on it right away and they're going to take over at the 20-yard line we almost got one earlier I remember who it was but had two or three guys in that backfield almost blocking that they're like able to somewhat go right down the middle and Mommy takes over in the old 20 yards get untouched and the thing with that he didn't even run into the kicker either which is sometimes hard to hard to do so let's see what happens going here now for the Eagles offense gonna send motion man Peyton Andrews just slides over a little bit of a low snap picked up by vaguely hands it off good cut back there by Jason Nelson but nothing really going after that keeps his feet moving and gains four something quick with CJ he is married with joy from Joy's airfare so thank you once again from Joy's Hair Fair joy and Kylie up there two football moms they donated the meal tonight four boys and the cheerleaders from Joe Bacardi so thank you to our sponsors and our supporters for all the years here Colombia football kchs second and six I'm gonna go doubles looks like we empty got trips to the right side there is another receiver we're gonna send him in motion looks like Mason's gonna pull it go to that right side gonna have the first down good tackle there in the open field by number four for the Oilers Ronin winners hide behind the other receiver in that trips but Columbia Eagle first down will be first and goal that we're gonna go trips right into the boundary again with doubles to the left empty set there is nobody over Nelson here on the bottom slot received around a quarterback power this way we're gonna send Jackson belt him in motion again they're gonna flip it up to him get to that outside buddy and he's gonna get there looks for another Eagles touchdown [Applause] I think that's his first touchdown of the season always love to see that 100 donation from George Webber Chevrolet that is the first touchdown for Bill to win coming into the night Cameron Yannick Jason Nelson Lucas ribling and Mason vegley were the four touchdown scorers for the Eagles so tonight you're gonna put biltimen on the list yep picks who else I think there's another one in there and rebling he scored last year Keegan Thompson's kick is up and it is good Eagles 8 24 11 just third quarter we'll stick with you here don't worry Pharmacy scoreboard transition of the field so that takes the George Weber Chevrolet donation now six hundred dollars gets donated tonight hundred dollars with every touchdown so that is a thousand dollars on the season and we look at the Eagles coaching staff now all of them are on the sideline uh coach Jermaine and Coach stump are the only two with headsets on so now with the 40-point lead once the clock starts after this kickoff it will not shut off unless East Alton scores but I don't know if they even shut it off at that point or do they let it go once it hits 40 it rolls yeah that's how it is in basketball at least from the suitcamp family eagle or suitcamps are always watching from C-Town blue pride in our heart thank you from an old running back and a young linebacker Camp families always listed in and always telling us that they're excited to listen man Owen a great teammate of mine back in the day he was one of the leading tacklers in school history yeah he's probably one of the best linebackers to ever go through this school and you could ask pretty much anybody and they'd probably have him in his in their top three so now once you can't definitely uh National Treasure of Columbia football [Music] Keegan Thompson got the ball on the tee ready to kick this one off it's like three men date 44 that middle Turner number two and can't see that other number right now number four number two is going to catch it at the 11.
