Callas thank you madam president members of the board and members of cabinet this evening the superintendent is presenting to the board a proposal that we move the superintendent governing board updates to the front end of the meeting I know that this there's some history here and there's a reason why it landed where it is but the reason for my request is I know that while as efficient as these meetings are sometimes they can go longer in as we have a student update I would like to accommodate students to be able to make their report and not have to sit through the entire board meeting which can go as long as two hours but for that reason only is why I would ask that we move the updates earlier on in the agenda potentially after the call to the public any questions or comments sir dr.

Sims yeah I might if you may consider much better group in HD about the equity issue let that mean and the administration and and what that means for various stakeholders which are in the word around what we need to define it and talk about what we need at the whole for the blender they I guess what I'm hearing just to clarify based on work session immediately following the may board meeting to have the dialogue about the and discontent equity issue correct yes please super ten right when are we okay with that what [Music] I didn't say in equity and equity it's a word being thrown around and justifying different policy or fashion and policies we as a group should probably talk about but we all have it the concept for that and how we're applying it across the agency and house take whole issues receive it as well and dr.

kaylis no just considering dr. Califf that the student is a high school student and yes if the meetings do run long and they have to be school that's 705 710 I think it's a great idea to do so so they need their sleep and do their homework too I just have a question do they bring anything from governing more meanings back to their groups or is it just strictly to be here to report madam president member tant leadership structure if you're not aware has taken on a different function while each high school still maintains a student council the district has developed the student leadership the district student leadership council and this is a representative of the district student leadership council so the district student leadership council encompasses five members from every high school I believe there's three from sundown two or three from sundown so the representative yes reports back to the district student leadership council I would say that probably not to the individual schools because the student is will rotate through but typically only represents one school so you mean did they go back to there at least one school and report back they would go back to the district leadership student council but not from there information that is provided to the district Leadership Council would then go back to the school sites obviously there are layers of communication and the quality of the message is the subject but that is the communication flow no just my question with that was just whether or not if they were here strictly to just report on that or if they like I know that sometimes we've had stuff in the past there just are also learning about like government and leadership and if they take any of that information back that was just what so my question was I think it's our hope that they do yeah so I just didn't know like then we just if we are asking them to stay until it's like if it is a long meeting and they need to go they can just go because they'd be free to at that point because they've already reported or if it's if it would be something they're just coming to rapport and then they leave every time Madam President mr.

Sims you're also talking about in relation to the co-op's all the above yeah okay we will definitely have that item on any other agenda items that we would like to have both by the way and that superintendent recommend I think we need to also have a conversation about that meeting is scheduled for Tucson I highly recommend and we gotta figure this out is potentially have a care in Phoenix I don't know if that's a formal motion as looking like yeah requires emoji so based on that well I don't believe is an action item I'm sorry this is Shelley so what's the reasoning for having the meeting here in Phoenix well my impression is that I have a lot of people from northern Arizona that are very interested in this issue and rather than have them drive all the way from Tucson let's put it in the middle again and have it in Phoenix we can flip board meetings to the Tucson Union okay this is Shelley I was hoping to meet with students who are living in the dorms and so that we could talk with them during that board meeting or previous to the board meeting to Phil to figure out what they are feeling if we're discussing possible closure of the dorms okay so let me rephrase that because we're not talking possible to school closure at the dorm I think I said at the very beginning room as well right just a point of clarification I think that Shelley was saying the dorms closed in June for summer I am mistaken interpretation like IQ favors my question to the interpretation school will be ending in June they'll be on summer break so I want to make sure that we could talk to them prior to that how do we okay I need help with this because I totally get that like I'm struggling with the issue there's a paramount problem that you're facing specific to the the relationships with flagstaff with that conversation I need to get stakeholders in a room to start to solve this problem because it's just not gonna get any better and I also hear yourself saying Shelly as we need to meet with the students before they go on summer break so I didn't mean to come across that hard - I agree I'm not sure how to do this sure be brief all right we would be the only family coming from to Sarah from Flagstaff so please hold your meeting in Tucson because there's lots of Tucson families that aren't here today because they're trying to get up here for my 10 and i-10 said bloody nightmare and so Tucson would be fine because the people who can't speak here tonight would be speaking in Tucson I appreciate that very much that solves my our dilemma also this is Shelly now I'm sorry I'm think what we're talking about now is heaven the may or me in Tucson keep it the way it is or Accession really following in Tucson so I'd like to add to the agenda to involve the students to have them come and speak with us I hear you and I think are we talking in another work session or during the regular board meeting we'll be having a work session in Tucson yes but I think the thought process is we have a regular board meeting followed by work session to talk about the equity issue before because we've done that before I met with some of the students before last summer and that I mean that were they were there for a camp and that worked out well we did it I think an hour and a half before is that yeah I think Charlie met me that meeting this is Linda I just want to emphasize you know at the last meeting I felt I didn't really like the idea of having a work session after the board meeting I'm not a huge fan of that I just to be honest it feels very rushed we have the meeting and then we have our work session and then we all leave and I think something more like a retreat a full day half a day I think we need to make time for something like that we really do a meeting after a board meeting it just feels like another board meeting where we go round and round in discussions I'd like to have an agenda created I would like to ask that we have time set aside for retreat whatever we want to call it a work session or a retreat not just two hours after a board meeting this um this is UK I was just going to throw out there as a possibility if we could meet with students prior to the board meeting and maybe have a a topic specific discussion or some of the stakeholders in a time-limited forum after the board meeting so that we hit both stakeholder groups and have specific topics for each of those and then I would agree I think we need to look at a half-day hold a session retreat type of thing to get at some of the other media issues at a later date so maybe we can capture both and maybe if I'm hearing the right cks feed that we potentially do the board meeting followed by an information session if you will and then a full-blown work session to kind of come up with some solutions and ideas based on what you're saying and retreat I take a lot of time but I think it's important enough that we start to air this out so and know you're okay with doing something before were the students I'm really embarrassed right right the gradual Saturday retreat and people's schedules were so complex at one time we couldn't put a quorum and the other time we can only get five people so it's not because people don't want to do it it's if people have complex live and getting a time where everybody can get together is difficult people have already set the time aside for the board meetings so it kind of works as a natural progression to just go into it it's a long day rushed and it's not ideal but everybody gets together more regularly with the work-study than they have with the retreat to the press glenda okay okay yes I do I can see your point so that would mean that a work session I'd like to have specific agenda items laid out and that's what we stick to I don't want it to just be Oh did because then we digress and so I do value your time I want you to value my time and so I would expect that all the board members would make a retreat a priority I mean that's one of the reasons we're on this board so if you know why are you here in the first place if not to make time outside of the board means it's long okay point point taken let's make an attempt at it thank you we're gonna have to do as well are we clear on the agenda items for next week are there any others that we want to bring to the next or future work session for four I think we definitely need to prepare for that too any other items now I don't know if I need to come back to item 1.0 for call to the public or not if so I I don't know your name so I've got 13 slips so if you want to con it come up and tell us who you are and you've got three minutes Tina okay come on up Tina that was our yes sir this microwave number on the line about six minutes we're almost there we're almost done actually it's perfect timing but you know before you speak I'm just gonna make sure that everyone everybody understands that the names on these sheets are entered into public records so there will be a documentation of it you never gave you three minutes please proceed I would like to just start thinking start by linking the members of the board for their service and I also appreciate you taking the time to hear the very important issues that come with the Equality and the spending and I appreciate you taking the time to be willing to put that on the agenda to be looked at in a bipartisan way that everybody will be able to see what is truly clearly going on here and I want to thank you for your time and thank you for allowing me to speak perfect thank you very much there are no other speakers I'm gonna move to item number nine I move we adjourn this meeting I have a motion to have a second I second a second doesn't favor say aye hey all those opposed Oh during your stack come on up and state your name I'm going to give you three minutes to speak good call just make sure you state your name and how many are there you got a couple of you up here come on up hello my name is Amanda Steele Thank You ASDB school board members for allowing me to speak tonight tonight I want to direct my comments to the lack of availability for children serviced and regional cooperatives to assist technology devices to utilize an instruction instruction of their vision impairment services as proven in the materials provided by Danny to the school board as a result of their open records requests to indicate that there is a clear discrepancy statewide and what is available for visually impaired children literally excuse me living in regional areas versus metro areas these discrepancies make decisions for families that receive ASDB services without them knowing it in the case of Sawyer's family they have a child entering middle school far less prepared than his peers living in Tucson all due to his geographic location for five years Sawyer received Braille education services with nothing more than a Perkins Brailler because those working in the education services excuse me in the north central region of regional cooperative were untrained themselves in modern devices that help visually impaired students ASDB staff didn't know what to recommend they weren't exposed to what would be helpful they were never offered in services or annual training to show those interacting with children and what was available visual impairment has been substantially benefited overall because of changes in technology and given the blind a new access to their world without those in charge of instruction being exposed to new and developing technology they wouldn't know what would be helpful to the students they work with daily and materials provided to you earlier this week you can see that in regional cooperatives there is a clear strategy for selection magnification for instruction versus simply teaching children how to read Braille with technology in the southwest regional cooperative for example students have far greater access to technology devices like the Braille apex or in Braille note touch while in the north central cooperative students are lucky to get a Vizio book magnifier a device that has been discontinued and no longer being supported but literally being purchased annually by the this organization this availability chooses an educational path for families that the varies based on organization this availab I'm sorry this is that that is a discriminator this is just taury and it needs to stop as a state-funded entity ASDB has an obligation to service with equity and fairness which neither has been shown in this case of assistive technology tonight I am specifically requesting that this Board of Directors ask ASDB administration to investigate this lack of equity specific to the availability of technology for visually impaired students living in regional cooperatives students should have shouldn't have to move from families to get access to something that children living in at metro areas have this practice of separating families who live in rural parts of the state to satisfy technology needs is absolutely ridiculous and as an AZ a Z taxpayer I've taken notice and I'm outraged please train your staff provide tools for children to use education equitably and seek innovation live your mission statement it is about time thank you thank you second speaker I'm sorry thank you so much for allowing us to to speak can you please take your name up sorry my name is Suzie try so this evening I wanted to speak to the issues of relocating students in rural parts of Arizona to receive services that children in metro areas get it's disturbing to me and it hurts my heart is I'm also a mom of a child with a disability this week ASD be admitted in the green families IEP meeting that they cannot deliver the services but Sawyer's peers in Tucson get and recommended day school placement suggesting that this family should be split up and that Stribling should live separate from each other that is a parent it just it just hurts my heart and I lost my specs right it just shouldn't be split up and and asking if a parent to to end their career and to move because SP APA can't simply provide keyboarding instruction and flag stuff is just saddening keyboarding instruction is a necessary skill for all students but most especially visually impaired deaf students it's a still if the states pull the duct and the blind students doesn't provide this who does the real answer is that ASDB does provide the service just in Tucson and Phoenix and it doesn't offer it to the 74% of its student body population living in cooperatives and 49 of its revenue source or maybe it's just a service that is VA is refusing to provide to this family which I really hope it's not it's shameful and it's just sad mean that this you know I I just hope that the the school board would really look at this because let some other words but I'll change it for the second just because basically you know the needs of this families aren't so great to warrant the suggestion you know the hardship placed on the school districts that have to live with this recommended recommendation should be noted a school district has a federal obligation to provide services to provide services and the suggestion comes at the cost for a family that creates liability and most of rural Arizona and the school district in most of rural Arizona school districts that are contracting with a std for services are running on funding that is dwindling a SCB not being able to provide equitable services and suggesting relocating for a family exposes districts to lawsuit nasb APA is not a good stewart to these two those who serve they serve whether that is students to school districts I'm not to ask you to wrap up things so basically what I'm trying to say to you is that when I look at your funds I'm seeing 700 and what $71 per per student per year for a child to receive these services and I'm looking at how much these other schools are making per student there's a very big difference and I don't understand where that's coming from I'm really confused on that and I really just asking I'm here and asking that you look at that and and reconsider when that money's going thank you thank you there are no more speakers the parts been turned in I saw the motion on the table for adjournment for the second all those in favor say aye I was opposed guys have it thank you everybody

Stanner I would leave that up to the discretion of the student based on what they can do if it would be yes would be ideal if the business of the board was integrated into the district student leadership councils communication system but there may be obviously times when the student needs to leave that's a good idea as well I think though to just just as a point to mention I know that their ASB a conferences I've been at that just reminding the board that the governing board update is really just supposed to be a brief update of any current event type things so even though it's great relating our students out to be efficient as well with art as far as our time and getting out at a decent hour to so I think moving it up for the students is great but then just I think to as long as we just keep it to current event matters we should be good either way any other questions or thoughts on that okay then I will move the board approve the moving the student superintendent governing board updates after the call to the public portion of the governing board meetings I'll second motion made by Christine Pritchard second and by J Leonard please cast your votes motion carries this next we moved to superintendent governing board updates I don't believe our student is with us tonight then it's a good thing we good girl all right next is superintendent update dr.

[Music] passion of these separate $133,000 yet [Music] the United States America stands one nation this is my - a bunch of liberation I'm Terry with the Board of Education last night and we chatted stoner mom to capital this is a continuation of that the agenda for tonight and tomorrow they're both written as such tonight we have in the capital non-recurring of fund a number of items that the Board of Ed hadn't spent and some of them were for the schools that Center and huckleberry and we asked today if there was going to be anything that could be repurposed and he does have to go through all the proper channels but with it looks like there could be a minimum of fifty thousand today could be repurposed as rebirth was I'm just in total some of those are not labeled school by school and it's not bonded so that but he can post was going to check with Dan Caldwell and come up with a number for the two of them it would just be a temporary number until it went through the process of the Facilities Committee and the port event but the the Canon tentative number is at least 15,000 that's 50,000 I was previously in a board of ed capital budget in the capital non-recurring findings in the financial statements that Schedule D six so it has to I'm not if I'm just wanna clarify it has to be what capital was just all okay it could theoretically be caveat for capital right those have to be careful correct if you decide to spend zero money on the board of it you could use it towards the police computers okay my guess is you're kind of spending not the most it could be what only be like a hundred and seventy-five thousand a doubt it would be all of that because there's some things that they are there's they're doing it with that money but it looks like fifty thousand at least but this is money that was set aside for bonds this was the current spending the cash cash spending it just didn't get spent in 1819 17th and 18th and it is on your financial statements I can pull those up and show you might be easier [Music] it is this money down here so some of it is 2017 money and some of it 2018 money that Matlin spent yesterday looks like some of them are projects that were under spent select the huckleberry portables there's balances but those are gone so I think that that was that was spent that oh so it had 60 was the original approval I'm carried into this fiscal year was 26 they spent that 26 this year so this is the original approval amount how the debts of logic than they overspent though this one there's fund balance there of 92 so 92 what was this what was carried into the current year during the end of 95 but they've had three thousand 667 of a small construction grant from the state of Connecticut so they carried in fund balance in 92 they added revenue spent 95 there's zero fund balance that all 187 because some of them are are already in progress that but the ones that like the CES down here Center and huckleberry here are the ones that we're looking but did we find out have you spoken them whether or not they plan on spending it back.i minimums pen has to speak to Dan they were gonna speak today but apparently they didn't and then once they come so if Ken's numbers 50 Dan might be able to increase that a little but then they'd have to go through the channels so you could take one of their projects and take 50,000 off of it and say it's gonna be paid with these funds sorry and why many many projects for example the middle school or the or the air-condition didn't bring it down to nine ninety seven or something this slide at the bottom so p.m.

in compliance with current code technically the rule is a slide only had to be in compliance with the codes when it was installed which it was very made a decision to remove the soil because it didn't have upward slats on this there railings coming up so where does that slide its you can't give give it anymore because it's not if somebody takes it and wants to install it it didn't have to become compliant and the knowledge is what we thought the areas where the way they're gonna do a little bit of lawn work gift but not one and move the couple of railroad ties because they thought they were trip hazards replace it with something so it's basically mulch something else I mean that doesn't really matter what no yeah just take it off yes just take a pic it is just take it off though the reserve in this vide it's 50 that oh he doesn't need to know that it's gonna be yet wondered was the caucus yeah yeah we loser are we a regular sideline 17 minutes one of the two potentially good feel we're sure though 17th and so is that going to require that's going to require us to re-appropriate it once it gets assigned is that how it works er um depends on how the bonding was written because it's usually the windboiler this knows this catch oh no this sketch probably to be safe yeah well we're just putting the money aside so that I think if we're doing it to a reserve we could take it out of the budget and just reclassify it in the financial statements that because you don't have to approve spending for anything whereas if we had a $50,000 vehicle we wouldn't want to take it out of the budget because then it never gets approved but since it's just a reserved I we're not we're going to approve it before we spend it in okay [Music] so what happens if on Monday the 25th they finished their exercise and it turns out that there's 100 5055 overall they already do so let's say wrap up this week right things are approved and what happens with that extra 55 what we could do is if we were going to transfer if you approve a budget that says paid currently 1.5 million let's say and there's money in that fund we could just under spend the 1.5 million dollar transfer and do 1.4 million and transfer it over that way it hits the bottom line and the general fund we don't have to transfer over a hundred percent if we if we don't need it but it's there it's been to me in the eventual intent preventively expending the original intent that's good but did you have a chance to review Marcia's file I know she sent it out a little bit ago did you have any no no questions comments or concerns in the capital page nope so then in the contacts you might go into the summary page so we're all on the same and it's been increased as we took because of those interest from the payments assuming the worst case scenario that they're not bonded [Music] right now we're looking at Capital paid with cash about $600,000 true on to the town probably top down or something else just do that the town expenditures or anything anyone wanted to comment on straight away or should we do with the honor of the fairies for those specific comments I mean it's just the same comments as yesterday which is you know trying to manage the required growth in the town with the require discipline needed to get to the did engage his responsible sustains forward progress towards the next several years as we build that bill towards this model built was at school so we talked about it last night we're here at the end and I'd say keep beating that drum of you know sustainable growth with discipline on every and every line for every department so is there anything that we would like to discuss the selectors budget [Music] we have brought this up very early last year but the possibility of adjusting the selectmen salary after the election so I just came up with just obviously that's debatable but and then just kind of putting only a half years of that balance so I figured if 110,000 as a salary requirement was a reasonable or not then that would adjust up the salary to by nine thousand six hundred and fifty-five and the current budget and Nanette would only be effective January now that's just how I represented it I don't really remember when calling it a half you just cut it in half since Guffey and gruesome Hatfield yeah and weird weird one time to come from I don't know that was just that was just number it just came up lately you know obviously that's that's a part that's debatable but I was thinking it it would have Keating obviously discussed and then I kind of see what everybody else thinks about it and my logic was take whatever that annual salary is and just cut the increase in half for this year that comes go basically call it a hundred thousand you could call it that oh yes for this year but then next year that salary would yeah we'd be the new salary with no raise from that good it would be but he's not getting the true amount from nothing or she there was a new elected official did not get keep they're getting they're getting those they're getting the bump and then again the phone but that's in the pump we're trying to get to and I get that a one penny per se they would but they don't okay six months yeah if you're gonna do a monthly starting on regular elections in November though right Sarah stunning January right right okay yeah so they would never start too but there's any fruit first year off of that so really over ginger six months yeah then I guess the question is what if it was a reasonable see if you recall when you gave us that worksheet that had first selectmen salaries for the surrounding towns you recall what that was what was yeah look I gave you a combination of First Selectman in town managers right and it range anywhere from about 95 up to 150 with town managers making more why I don't know but yeah Matt Knickerbocker just got a raised to it 1998 I think Rudy is at a hundred and something and 115 Sherman's not a good shirt on the Roxbury they're really small [Music] I'm okay with the 9400 bomb to bring it to us so how does that work if we mean for something that kick you the gent one right based on the new election cycle so it's less about the person in the chair person will be in the chair how do we make sure that doesn't take effect July I think the money's there in the budget and also it would be as a No yeah well you guys passed the motion and that's what it is we can't do anything until January 1st I think you would have to put her liver salad you want in it's a full amount then you'll have money left over because 6 months of salary that isn't paid once it couldn't it be done at a regular meeting if we set the salary we put it in the budget now and then we could set the salary of a regular meeting you could but then you'd be over budget it was responsible for favorable campaign is trigger a trust [Music] because we have the number of things that we do that with with people that start and they're on probation and and six months said they might get a change we did that with Dana she came to us at 50 and we had a six-month review period and we told her if you do well we'll be a 55 which I thought was hers did she did Bert all right so let's see where we are and then we'll come back to there is so non union wages I assume that is the administrative assistant yes Ginny last year we had put me crease in there paya dance for 10,000 last year and you said let's make it five and never not a nice dear friend a pope would revisit another five g's a critical part of the organization she's phenomenal and she does make significant less than what other people in her position do [Music] gee Lily axis and lucky chiefest and she's well so they 73,000 represents the yes yes any questions on that right anything else in the first leg budget that I'd like to discuss moving on border finance I think the big the big secret is that there we have that 39,000 there's the audit our portion of the audit and then the NIT is whatever is that cost being shared similar to audit it is not because it's only covering the town side that we could expand it to cover the other sites for a fee I did talk to the IT director in the Board of Ed and they're not quite ready for it that they thought that they had won last year that but we couldn't share it the recommendations because theirs was on a student that hip up protection of student data what's the split between audit fees and this new 19,000 siit on it the consultant that we've used in the past at 16 to 19 either way we'd have to go out to look for quotes does everyone agree that this is a good idea now to doing this for the downside yes but what bloom at the border I'd be ready but what they were thinking is they would read ours and try to copy the ideas improve their systems and then [Music] what was the status of the discussion with Michael I thought you were okay but I don't discuss it let's coordinate that so let's budget this but then hopefully yeah we should get a break there right since more she did all of the financial statements would say sniffing maybe that's save you any time and she said huge amount that time yeah I asked him and he said well look it's the same battle we're just different work yeah so I'm gonna keep my few words right and exactly right okay so it's there for now lose consensus that we want to leave that the way it is let's go back to the we did the tax litigation line so tax litigation it was 44 Department request and then got dropped by 19 and 25 it has been not a lot before that are we assuming that so this was 44 the original estimate was from the attorney back in January but then some of the cases had closed and then there was one case that has a lot of similar cases around it that it sounds like we won and can use that save money on any other litigations there so that was the original estimate was his and then as time passed their savings from less from them closing off and that one the multiple tier one where so we have a number of them from a development where all the properties are very very similar and on one of them the property was valued by the town of 480 thousand and the property owner went out got their own appraisal and it came in at five hundred thousand as if she decided not to pursue it we said we're more than willing to take your appraisal if so that's gonna have an influence on the other people in the development I think so we will not be going to the level of court cases and there's still a couple the tax litigation includes not only attorney fees in that line but also appraisal fees so that next year that should go back down to where it was the six to nine thousand sugar it's never change yeah because this will finish up the last Reeve out tax litigation statute of limitations others oh you have to file there's a certain period of time between I believe it's January and end of February if you want to appeal your and now you can do it every year but people typically only do it in the first year or the second year after the Reeve out a lot of people don't see it until they get their tax bill then they forget then it has itself some reminder and they file the next year so Julie the first two years yet the only other time you usually would have an issue is somebody built that new house a new house or new development and they disagreed with the value you place on it they could come but again those are one-offs of Glen is right they should go down and then since work you move back up I forgot on the legal fees they took it down from the previous which was for the requestors I think is good are there what's the process for people being allowed to access certain people are allowed to like lounges Alice do they deal with this other daily basis I asked other people like I gave tanning in the assessor's office because she was going through some of these litigations that she could talk directly then to Tom most of the other ploys come directly today I initiated April the WPC a corpsman right and they didn't need to so when we get that belt we're sending it to the ICCA yeah so we're keeping a pretty close watch on that somebody's fees are also for the transition to the new pension right the review of the entire plan document updating and making sure that all of the agreements we have with the unions agree with the plan document and getting everybody on the same level meeting this is when it kicks in it's 15 days for this 30 days for that the detail each of the unions have a slightly different agreement so we've had to adjust that they don't mean anything from a money standpoint but from managing the pension plan standpoint it means a lot it's okay this one's got 30 days this one against 25 days to do something yeah make sure you have all that so that is almost completely wrapped up now tell me we're already our employees already talking to mass mutual help we've hadded sessions for them to come in and see what its gonna be so I think we're going to be in good shape there and from the accounting point of view this fee started the original budget showed 155 it dropped by 60 because we reallocated the HR attorney out of legal fees and then Steve's budget what was actually in a separate budget last year and we put the HR attorney under HR 2 and then there's a third place that had pension consultants down and employee benefits in last year's budget and we move that up into the HR budget as well so we've reallocated some of the pension some of the legal fees several times a year all reach out to mr.

Beecher when tested each of the attorneys talked about ways to reduce the fees ways where we could be more efficient suggested maybe that like on this one instead of someone just spontaneously calling maybe having monthly pre-established meetings so that all the fees would be saved up and coordinate the questions so if the then if there's something further to do we would issue a purchase order at that meeting to say hey what do you think it's going to take and then we keep lid on the fees that way and keep control of the piece that way and so that's been discussed with each of the attorneys and the pension actuary the HR person so I think we have six different professionals so we've talked about that we're also most most likely gonna go out to bid oh really yeah to see what we can get from attorneys what they'll include in their normal retainer what's included included talk to two towns that have done it and save some money it got a little war room in that retainer [Music] finance department [Music] thirty that's probably the most exciting part it's different from last year last year's budget but not last year's actual no screaming no this doesn't work for the wages they're noticing a trend of frequent and five four percent increases what's behind that specific number people we were opposing a two and a half percent raise but remember with the accruals and then it curls you're gonna be another percent it's I think it's seventy percent point seven eight percent makes thanks they're still well we gave you these salaries and the increases by person right I get that but the three point five for showing off everywhere if I were to add point seven eight plus two and a half its below that's under three point five four so where's [Music] mr.
