he doesn't he doesn't look imposing but this kid is a good running back i mean he gets to his whole he follows his blocks um you know we've seen him carry it a couple of times he's getting six seven eight yards of carry every time he touches it which is really helpful for their team there's another sophomore for b north out there zano the quarterback with the ball now he's a junior that's a big really good tackle there that was a great tackle goodness you know right when i was talking about i i think number 10 needed to pick up that block um he was just he was he was running out in front of the quarterback there and he just i think he just missed that one third and two ah and it's gonna get that's my guy mr adams a little anxious yeah he plays hard he wants to get after it a little bit too bad there bloomington north team they they do have the steinfeld kid of course we've talked about as a senior uh but a lot of these other kids are underclassmen yeah that's great i mean great for them you should have a good football team next year as well [Music] and they have a couple other big wide receivers as well we didn't talk about that much tonight yet but uh they've got some big kids playing white out a counter play here to cody number 10.

45 40 and he's tackled down as he reaches the 35-yard line what a great return by by tyron robbins the ball will be spotted at the 36-yard line and that's where the mustangs will begin their drive great return there are flags on the field after the play if there are two penalties both on uh one on the mustangs and one on passaic they vote which means they both offset which means there is no loss of your age or gain of yardage for each team both on sportsmanlike conduct so the mustangs will begin their drive where the ball was returned where the refs say it is the 35 yard line oh mustangs break the huddle one receiver left two right maldonado on the backfield velas takes the snap he's gonna throw he's looking deep for bonaparte and it is picked off slightly underthrown and it'll be forsake ball at the three yard line their drive on their own three yard line although it was an interception it isn't all that bad we still have a 19 nothing lead and the mustangs could potentially bring one of their players down who has the ball in the back of the end zone which could result in a safety so although we did turn the ball over it isn't all that bad mistake breaks the huddle they hand it off to monroe and he will get a gain of maybe about three on the on the he'll get a gain of three on the carry and it'll be second and seven my apologies it was a gain of one on the carry and it'll be second and nine for passaic jackson takes the snap he hands it off again the ball is out it was a fumble but it looks like it was recovered by passaic a five yard carry on that plate will be third and four for forsake there was a fumble on that play but it was recovered by the indians but it'll be third down and four yards to go they have not gotten a single first down this game i don't think and it might all change here he takes the snap he's rolling right he throws and it'll be incomplete and it'll be another three and out for the mustangs unless they elect to go for it and it looks like they won't they're bringing the punt team back onto the field what an impressive game so far by the mustangs defense every drive they have came on the field and they have completely shut out the indians this game and it's been three and out after three and out they will just bring their punter back on the field again the two people back to receive the kick for the for the mustangs are kayla bonaparte and tyron robbins who had a very nice return last last time they returned a punt and is a timeout taken by passaic with 5 minutes and 22 seconds left to go in the first half mickey pizza and out comes the mustangs special teams right now they are just waiting on passaic um oh their punter is back there he takes the snap it's a it looked like a fake he just took it rolled out right robin's bobbles it he's going to return it and he goes past the 40 35 4 35 30.

he's going to spring down the sideline and not get caught that's going to be a touchdown for the cougars he's quick no flags well coach this is what we were talking about right you take the start of the of the half at the 12-yard line you take a hold you go back to the six-yard line and you then make a 94-yard drive for six soon to be seven points probably and i think that is a huge win for bloomington right now right that's a big factor gonna make this a really good game it's a big statement coming out at halftime especially after a miscue on the kickoff nearly blocked but the kick is up and good be 14 to 14. now here in the third quarter 9 53 remains yes bloomington teams here to play they've uh they've had a couple of unfortunate things happen tonight no major mistakes but uh uh to be in this game 14-14 um they're in good shape there's a heck of a counter play to set that up they had everybody going to the wrong or right direction depending on what side the ball you're on yeah and uh conor mcglitch had very little trouble getting around the edge and it was kind of an interesting play i mean it looked like a almost looked like a broken play just the way the quarterback and the in the exchange with the running back happened i it was very deceptive at minimum he was the only guy running to the left all the all the guys in the black jerseys were going the the other direction jack wrecker the um 6-4 senior from bloomington north had to secure one block and that was it [Music] so kyle trilling will kick it off here for bloomington north it's gonna be a relatively short kick taken at the 10-yard line i casted her out of the leave big big right down to the 30-yard line big block in the middle of the field by number seven excuse me that was lofton well often had a pancake in the middle of the field late flag late hold i didn't see that one either i see it see it laying out there now back him up a little bit more yeah i'll put him on the 15.

it's a tough penalty by the that flag sitting on the 25 would insinuate that the penalty occurred in the 25 that's how that's supposed to work and cass said it was tackled at the 30. so you might wonder if that was behind the play which doesn't help anybody nope well let's see if the bulldogs can return the favor here they got uh 85 yards two back formation we have not seen that a whole lot from columbus north yet this year they gave us to huffman he gets out of one block and gained about five yeah great run i mean he was bottled up and uh i don't know how much they'll do the two back uh formation coach but it worked for him in the first half on that on that long drive they had um which ended up being i think a 98 yard drive to get to 14.

and it'll be a gain of four on and it'll be second and one for the mustangs second and one for the mustangs two receivers left one right shotgun formation maldonado in the backfield on velos is right velos takes the snap fakes it he's gonna take it himself and he'll be brought down past the eight yard line and flags are being thrown everywhere there's a face mask on the defense which makes it a mustangs first down it is a fast mat face mask by pacific first and goal from the four yard line maldonado on the backfield one receiver lined up on the right two lined up on the left velos takes the snap hands it off to maldonado waiting on a signal and is first and the refs call it a touchdown it is a touchdown for the mustangs jacob maldonado with his third of the game that is jacob maldonado's third touchdown of the game the mustangs have a 25 nothing lead with three minutes and 27 seconds left to go is up by stephophilus waiting on a signal and it is good the mustangs have a 26-nothing lead and jacob maldonado just scored his third touchdown there's a little confusion on the sideline and in the end zone with the referees but they came to the conclusion that it was a mustang touchdown for jacob maldonado his third rushing touchdown of the game and the mustangs have a 26-nothing lead a very lengthy lead and we're only in the second quarter this is actually the first time the mustangs have ever played the passage indians at night and it seems to be going very well for us because we have a 26 nothing lead and we're only in the second quarter that is very impressive by not only the offensive play but by the defensive the kick is up and it is a pretty far kick it bounces out the three and it'll be picked up and returned by forsake that is the running back number 21 returning it and he will take it past the 30 40 past midfield 40 35 out of bounds at about the 33 but there are flags flying that was number 21 and troll monroe on the return he made a very nice play there but there are flags flying everywhere and that is coming back there was a flag on passaic i think it was an illegal block in the back and it isn't official there's an illegal block in the back by pacific which means their drive would have started about the but due to the illegal block the drive will start and the which which means the drive will end up starting at their own 20 yard line they have three minutes and 10 seconds left on the clock huddle breaks number 15 premiere bell in the backfield man in motion he hands it off to bell who gets a pretty good game looks like a gain of seven on the play and it'll be second and two josh hernandez on the tackle second and five for passage one receiver left two right shotgun formation he takes the snap it's a handoff and he will be dropped in his tracks literally he gets the handoff and he's immediately stonewalled and he'll lose about a yard or two and it'll be third and it'll be third and six before passing the clock is winding down two minutes and 16 seconds left and counting the huddle breaks one receiver left two right bell in the backfield jackson takes the snap he's gonna go deep and it is nearly picked off but swatted away a great play by number six donovan swayze and it'll be fourth and five and it's another three now for the mustangs or another three not for passaic i'm sorry grape defense by the mustangs and they're just gonna bring their punk team out every single drive pacific has had so far has ended in a punt and they're about to bring their punt team back out here again squeezing bone apart back there to return the kicks both return the pump the snap is taken the punt is low takes a bounce at the 47 picked up by donovan swayze he'll make a move past midfield makes another move gets past the 40 35 30 brought out of bounds at about the 29 yard line with a very nice return and there is an injury on the field for forsake a man very slow to get up and he seems okay and out comes the mustangs offense once again a minute and 30 left on the clock and the drive will begin at the 30-yard line every punt return so far has been good that one is another good one and this time by donovan swayze mustangs break the huddle shotgun formation by velas three receivers right one left maldonado in the backfield fellas takes the snap he's going to throw he's looking he's got a phone apart on a screen and the refs say the pass falls incomplete although donna although caleb bonaparte claims that he caught it refs pull the whistle before the snap is taken flag on the play illegal substitution by the passaic indians five-yard penalty second and five for the mustangs a minute and 25 left on the clock we got a 26 nothing lead two receivers right two receivers left maldonado in the backfield shotgun formation velus takes a snap has some time he's gone in deep and he's gone right inside the five yard line that was a bomb of a play a 26 yard throwing catch and it is another touchdown for the mustangs unreal the mustangs have a 32-nothing lead i mean ladies and gentlemen we have a 32-nothing lead and we're only in the second quarter i mean we are absolutely killing them right now sethophilus on the extra point the kick is up and it is through 33 nothing for the mustangs what a great first half so far for the mustangs we still have a minute left well i mean we are absolutely destroying them right now 33 nothing that was jacob maldonado on the last touchdown i believe from four yards out that is his fourth touchdown of the game and we are only in the second quarter i mean we are absolutely dominating right now ladies and gentlemen this is a great game so far by the mustangs the kickoff takes a bounce and they're going to return it and it is a very good return for passaic number 15 on the return bell there is a flag on the play though still waiting on a signal see what the penalty is and is holy against clifton which will tack on a few extra yards on the initial return by pasek ball spotted at the 35-yard line jackson doesn't take the snap that is the running back who takes the direct snap and he's going to take it himself past the 15 10 5 out of bounds at the 3 yard line but there is a flag on the play it was a direct snap number 21 and jerome monroe and there is an injured there is an injured passage indian on the ground out many people from the mustang sideline and people from the pacific sideline coming to help out the injured pacific india shout out to joni serpaco and the injured pacific indian is being helped off the field that is number 21 and sean monroe that is the running back and he has been doing a lot for this team today when it comes to special teams returns to just running the ball on offense it's never good to see an injured player on the field that very big gain by monroe did come back due to a penalty i believe it was illegal touching by a passage and the ball spotted at the 36-yard line they break the huddle one receiver left to right jackson takes the snap hands it off to number 15 from near bell and he'll get a gain of about two on the run and it'll be second down and eight i believe josh hernandez on the tackle second and nine for forsake as the clock winds down 17 seconds left 10 seconds and counting two receivers right one left let's see if they can get the ball off five four they do take the snap they hand it off and he is so long and that will end the first half the the passage indians nothing your clifton mustangs 33 joseph abel made the final tackle and the mustangs will head back to the locker room with a 33-nothing lead and the halftime show is coming up it will be your clifton mustangs band enjoy it ladies and gentlemen what's up brother what's up man how you doing good what are you up to how about you all right yes no and out on the field is your clifton mustangs band for your halftime entertainment one of the best bands across all of new jersey is okay truckers oh he's pretty uh what's oh commentators hey good shots oh foreign our communities elections it's fun uh hey of the men and women so everything is going forward i tried your brother text me oh yes one hopefully you guys enjoyed that halftime show by your cult and mustangs watching banner outcome the mustangs just a quick recap on the first half the mustangs have a 33 to nothing lead and jacob maldonado running back has four touchdowns kyle valles won is it awesome right okay next time you guys come here we're back yes secrets what's up man uh places you're tired okay the clifton mustang started off the first half of receiving which means now they'll be kicking off is and up is the kick and it will take a bounce at the five that will go into the end zone which is another touch back which means the the indians will start out on the 20-yard line the mosaic indians have not even gotten a first down i think they either got one or zero first downs the entire first half and the mustangs every drive have made them pump the ball except for the final drive of the game where they just stopped them when they were on the 32 yard line which was the final drive of the half the mustangs defense is out there they are ready huddle breaks one receiver right two left jackson takes the snap direct snap to monroe 18 yard line which will be a loss of two second and twelve before the indians another great player by this by this mustangs defense is just they have been doing a very good job all around all right two receivers right one left jackson number 21 and troll monroe takes the snap he's here to throw and it is caught but the receiver is hit hard and he'll get about two yards back and it'll be third down two receivers right one left diaz my apologies looking for number 44 and it'll be fourth down and nine and it looks like they are bringing the pun team out eight minutes 57 seconds left to go clock is winding down two people back to return for the mustangs and it looks like the mustangs are going to start their drive at the 40-yard line after the punt was blocked by the mustang special teams the mustangs are doing a very good job all around out comes their offense which this game so far the mvp for the clifton offense i'd say is jacob maldonado four touchdowns in the first half unbelievable game for him so far although kyle willis has been having a pretty good game two people on the back field receiver on each side press pull the whistles there's a flying on the fly there was a flag on the field one of the reps did throw a flag but it ended up being a timeout both teams will return onto the field handoff goes to maldonado will be blocked down maldonado actually before this carry his last two before that were both touchdowns back-to-back touchdowns on the two carries before the original one that he just had two two three receivers right one left six to snap handoff to tyron robbins who turns up past the 30 brought down at the 26 yard line that is a 10 carry and that is another first down for the clifton mustangs three receivers right one left shock in formation velas takes the snap hands it off to robins who makes a nice cut past for 20 15 that is not time for mama's my apologies that is who was brought down at about the 14-yard line which is a 12 yard carry another carry by chance looks like he was brought down for a gain of nothing he didn't get he didn't get a gain or a loss two men in the backfield two receivers right one left fellows takes the snap hands it off to chance who gets past the 10 yard line it is blocked out at the eight a seven yard carry and it'll be 33. that was the third carry of the game by chance wow another guy that a lot of people on the mustangs team have been saying they want to see out there and he's out there right now and based off these first three carries he's doing a pretty decent job fellas takes the snap hands it off to chance who bounces outside makes a nice cut the tackle number mustangs touchdown they may have a 39-0 chance wow number 16 a guy a lot of people have been vouching for and he just got a eight yard touchdown which gives the mustangs a lengthy 39 to nothing lead his technology the kick is up and it is now [Music] oh and that's where the drive will start now comes forsakes offense one receiver right two left man in motion and it'll be monroe on his own past the 30 hills man 35 40 brought down at the 41 yard line it'll be a first down four percent pacific has gotten today full spot at the 41 yard line first and ten looks like left to go in the third quarter clock is winding down ball spotted at about the 43 yard line takes the snap hands it off again bounces off of a tackle belt that's enough for the tackle and he is brought down after maybe a gain of one and it'll be third down and about six yards to go 57 seconds left and counting on the clock it is winding down one receiver left three right one man in the backfield shotgun formation for passage route takes the snap he rolls right doesn't have a lot of time he guns deep and it is intercepted by the mustangs picked on by brian feliciano number three to safety with a great pick which sets up a first down for the mustangs and that concludes the third quarter the mustangs lead to 40 and the mustangs will start off on offense once we come back after a short intermission great i just want to take a quick opportunity to thank all of you who are who have tuned into the stream and are on the stream right now and here come your clinton mustangs ladies and gentlemen boss placed on a 27-yard line takes the snap hands it off to chance he makes a man miss and he'll be dropped out of the 29-yard line of two on the run they'll be second to none she is no i'm not people in the backfield he takes the snap hands it off and it'll be a gain of one on the run and vargas gets the carry and you'll be a gain of one and it'll be fourth the third down and nine to go they take the snap high snap hand off the vargas who gets past the 30 got down at the 40 of the 38 yard line jordan vargas and there are flags on the field and he injured forsake indian an injured man on the field for sake number 11 hector colon and he was able to get up on his own strength and walk off the field jarring off the field he seems okay and hopefully that is the case whether you root for the mustangs or the room for the indians it doesn't matter an injury is never good the penalty was on the mustangs and the ball will be spotted at the 20-yard line third down and 15-yard 30-15 yards ago hands off goes to vargas who breaks a tackle was brought down at the 27th and number eight is in at quarterback it looks like omar mu heisen brings up fourth down and 12 for the mustangs and we are going to pawn for the first time all game it looks like the game is over for most of our starters we have put in most of our backups but for the first time today the mustangs are going to punt nine minutes to eight seconds on the clock it's winding down 40 nothing lead one man back deep to receive so take the punt for forsaken and there was a timeout taken by passaic same the snap is taken the punt is up and it will take a it will bounce off a mustang's head and it's caught and it's picked up at the 40 at the 38 yard line which is where the drive will begin the interception earlier made by brian feliciano was a good one also known as the silent assassin the sake will begin their drive from their own 42-yard line mustangs have a 40-nothing lead that was the first punt they have had all game monroe takes the snap he's going to take it himself on a run and he's brought down after no game joshua him on that hernandez he's been everywhere on defense today and it'll be second down and 11 for passaic they break the huddle he hands them all off and he will get a gain of maybe about one but it'll be third down to nine that was number five back there at quarterback joseph jackson the man who originally started the game at quarterback he's been on and off the field here and there okay here comes the sake onto the field two receivers on each side jackson back there to take the snap he does he's gonna throw everybody going deep he's looking deep and it is overthrown and we'll see the decision that they make here and looks like mistakes should bring out the fun team once again they did take a shot there deep to say to take a shot there deep but it was just a little bit overthrown by joseph jackson five minutes and 54 seconds left on the clock two people back to return the pot takes the snap pawn is up and it is going to bounce at the 30 yard line out of bounds let's see where the referees mark the ball oh and out comes the mustangs offense once again bob spotted at the 32-yard line five minutes on the clock it is winding down 40 nothing made by the mustangs on the carry by number two anthony mustangs break the huddle eye formation toilet tail back one receiver on each side hanson takes the snap hands it off the door and she goes nowhere that is a loss of three on the run it'll be third down at 11.

it was that was the really long drive made that big stop on fourth and two to the right this time single back with just huffman redman out of the game second and call it five they'll give it to huffman he's got room up the middle stumbles across the 36. yeah he moves really well right to left uh that's that's a great run um i thought maybe he'd bust it back out to the outside uh but good good run about what 15 yards 20 yards we're going to stick with the same formation here trips to the right single back as huffman first and 10 ball on the 37 yard line blyth in motion hamlets will keep this one plenty of room to go another first down still fighting heavy good strong run by hammond's there [Music] great run well knock on wood coach they're not having much trouble moving the ball i do think i think uh huffman sat down for a minute uh i think right looks like redmond's in oh you're right i mean i missed that missed that substitution same formation same motion with blyth here and bubble pass to cast deader looking to get outside does get outside that was a good block by patel really well done you know we've talked about it every week we always talk about the wide outs and and how well they block um you know play like that if the white out just comes out doesn't think the ball is coming to him that's a two maybe a three yard gain maximum and with the block you get a first down right really good block on a good corner by the way number two has it's been a quite a player tonight and had a good tackle for a loss earlier in the game uh on that same on that same screen um so he's a good player tipped tip for a touchdown coach you said it that was great same play the opposite direction this time it was to the trip to the field side there were two solid blocks and that is a very as you said that is a very difficult block to engage in and to maintain because it feels like you're blocking for an hour out there well and and did not hold i mean you're you're you're making a good block and and it's so easy for a wide out to hold the corner on that play everybody sees it if they do life in motion hammers will keep this one up the middle he's got about 10 now not down to the ten three four yards three and a half yards yep call it three and a half i like that i don't have decimals on the on the scoreboard though coach so i'll have to call it four yeah we'll give them four six seconds six well you know we talked about the hold on the white house we've seen bloomington i think two holds tonight that were significant and relevant yeah right so turn turning turning their game around a little bit with those holds um we don't want to see that from columbus north second and six here for the dogs from the 10.

that's a touchdown for huffman right up the middle untouched really really big hole he goes uh you know we've talked about this as well i mean go you go back to the bench and you you thank your lineman there i mean he did he ran 10 yards and his jersey didn't get scratched i mean just a great run but really great blocking up front no trouble at all for the dogs to move the ball 85 yards for the score no that did a great job there connor ward on for the p.a.t it's up it's good like connor good kicking 21-14 dawg's lead john i just clicked over to the columbus east game a minute ago they are leading seymour 56 to zero seymour is not a bad team yeah i was gonna say the uh the columbus east uh that's a good football team and because we have we've we've seen the scene the seymour team is i mean we expected them to be in this game right uh we didn't expect them to win but at the end of the day we didn't expect 56 to nothing yeah definitely better this year yeah tyson moore is taking that program and doing a good job down there so yeah i'm sure some of the jackson county faithful have been looking forward to this opportunity to try to put a game together minimize the minimize the deficit the difference on the scoreboard but it doesn't look like it's going to happen i mean columbus east has has really had a couple of great games this year and uh they went down to was it floyd floyd central was two weeks ago and what they were six right in the state at the time and uh really put a big a big win up there um so it's not surprising they're beating the seymour team it's just surprising they're beating them as badly as they are i've got a pesky fly right here on my in my area coach i apologize for my distraction somebody needs to help you like they needed to help the vice president i think it's mike pence i can't get him deleted it's not uh it's not dr bozeman's hairdo oh there's a good return there by b north out to the 33 yard line sorry to report the fly did not have the same end as the fly for mr pence all right i don't think so it's not halftime at east now oh we'll we'll get we'll get a quick check on the east probably fourth quarter they start i think the game started just a little bit before us josh our technical guy here is asking questions about the east game and we're trying to get you guys an update here give it to the back for about a game of three there for b north i think it's three minutes left in the third quarter at the east game so we're a little we're a little bit behind him we got about six minutes left in the third 21-14 columbus bulldogs ahead 6-10 remains here in the third quarter clock running bloomington north with the ball second and six to go lozano looking to scramble running around able to get outside now oh tackled out of bounds at about the 48 scrappy kid that's a good run i mean that's a great run for first down and keep your team in it that's hustling first and ten here for bloon to north gave the old halftime call still rumbling about a gain of three or four so check that folks at home it is half time at the east game no disrespect to seymour anybody else but i've always wondered and i've been on that side and so have you what exactly do you say when it's 56 to nothing and you're in the locker room on the on the donut side of that well either side you're on the 56 side or you're on the zero side you know i know what you're supposed to say on the 56 side is actually kind of hard to coach because you you gotta you got to get your number twos and number threes in and and you don't want to you don't want to you don't want to slow the game down but you got to get guys that haven't seen the field as much so you can get some reps in um you have to also think about you know being classy right so you can't you can't put 70 up like that doesn't make a lot of sense uh because nobody wants to see that especially in a in a in a rivalry game that's in town and kids that play each other you know since they were little kids um on the on the zero side of that coach honestly i think you got to just stick with the the scheme that you're trying to whatever your game plan was you're trying to go up you're trying to go out and execute it to make seven happen right you want to put the ball in the end zone doing what you said you were going to do good defense really good defense scruggs it's greg played great that was a great defensive player right there i love this kid he is he is uh a really talented kid plays both ways and that was great defense but back to the the zero um i don't know how you feel about that but you you want to take your game plan and go prove you can score touchdowns right now you're probably playing against the second team defense but that's okay you go out and execute and get your guys a couple of scores and hopefully hopefully you make it 56-14 yeah you definitely don't want to walk out of there with with the zero at the end of the fourth quarter third and 12.

they're gonna run the screen here that's a that's a tremendous tackle out there on the boundary by the bulldogs i can't make out the number yet but he was sealed up by that wide receiver and that is i believe that's royce lofton out there just shed that block and he had made a tremendous tackle it was a flyby but on that kickoff a little bit ago he had a pancake in the middle of the field that was just fantastic he's a he's a tough kid that might have been the tackle the game coach there's nobody else on that side of the field at all adams is trying to trail from behind but there was nobody out there to make that play and that was going to be a big gain yeah great play instead b north is out there to punt now on fourth and seven from the 48 r line oh something side of the foot i don't know if it was blocked or blocked thinking i don't think he kicked it cleanly that was a duck that is gonna be a net punt of five yards [Music] the old five yard punt doesn't help i have bloomington north defense there's nowhere to line up they're still trying to figure out what happened [Music] all right we got it right now we're at the 44.

plum is north 44. great field position for the bulldogs trips to the right 425 left in the third quarter 21-14 dogs lead hammons will keep it up the middle scott rooney still moving across the 40s 35-yard line so close to being gone at least one one tackle away from hitting that seam and making it through the game is closed coach but the bulldogs are having zero trouble moving the ball up and down the field yeah they've hit another gear they came out at halftime and they look they look pretty good in the first half they know maybe a little clunky but not too bad they're they're doing a night it's a good mix right now they're running a couple different guys and they're just running the ball really well life in motion here from trips to a two by two formation hammond's back to pass looks out here to tell craig catching this is one and he's down for another first down that is a great catch and run really good [Music] i like the patel kit he he's a he's a good wide receiver he doesn't get as many touches but i mean when he does he does a nice job and he blocks well he does he sure does which is why he's in on every play every single one give us the huffman this time for a gain of two you know it it'd be you know sticking with the patel kid for a minute the um i'd be surprised they don't try to throw it to the the back corner every once in a while they they'll throw it to the back corner and they've they if you go all the way back to the beginning of the season i think in the scrimmage they were they were trying to throw it to either scruggs or patel in the corner i'd love to see patel one one on one in the back corner here trips to the left trips to the field here cast editor in motion this time yep watch the corner looking for the end zone he's got a receiver yeah he's got a touchdown that is a tremendous catch and throw from hammonds to mcdaniel put the dogs up 27-14 with three minutes to go in the third quarter [Music] great i think that was with hayden hey mcdaniel great uh great throwing catch [Music] carter ward's kick is up and good and scoreboard now reads 28-14 dogs lead three minutes to go here in the third quarter yeah they they just i mean they say right now i mean if they were to get the football back and score again in the third this you know this is the best third quarter we've seen them play i think they look really they look really good right now against a good football team unlike my bears coach who have yet to score a point in the third quarter of any contest nfl contest yet this year so you're telling me that you're watching the nfl well i watched the bears you're watching the bears well yeah it's a different it's different than watching the nfl i i don't i can't not watch the bears yeah this this is it's it's a weird time to watch nfl or any kind of all the diff it's just weird without fans like i can go to a high school football game and sit here with you because it's just fun to be here it's unfortunate that there are not more fans but watching a game on tv with no fans seems strange to me how do you feel about it well it's strange certainly but i'm not going to not watch it because there's nobody else watching it well you are watching the bears well yeah yeah we've been we've been uh ever since 1986 just waiting for our year to come back around yeah that was traction for a few years but now the cubs don't score in the playoffs either so [Music] i think you sent me a clip of the cl of the cubbies not not doing something the other night didn't you i think you sent me a text about it about not doing things yeah he must have been disgruntled when you sent that it happens early and often hard award kicking away here for the dogs that one will be received at the about the eight yard line a little bit well now back up the middle looks like they didn't that actually resembled a six-year-old soccer match for just a few seconds there folks i mean that's a six-year-old soccer game lately maybe four-year-old soccer that just turned into a big beehive yeah nobody knew a little bit of a scrum a rugby term for you so speaking of cardboard cutouts at games did you happen to see the dodgers cardboard cutout they had bernie bernie oh yeah from the weekend at bernie it's just genius it was beautiful for any of you at home that you know are old like us in your 40s maybe 50s and you remember weekend at bernie's you got to go out you got to google weekend at bernie's in the dodgers and see the picture of this is the funniest thing i think i've seen in baseball this year bloomington north decide they're going to go ahead and play with 11 this time instead of the 10 they had out there first and ten here from the 23.

lozano back to pass he's got no coverage man he's scrambling just really running but got room on the ice that was such good coverage i mean the bulldogs have made the decision that they're gonna let him run a little bit a lot of guys on that play are double covered and they're gonna let their defensive line and a couple of linebackers try to take care of lozano but there was nobody open on that play do you think if they made a sequel or any other movie similar to weekend at bernie's today anybody would care would it fly who came up with that do i think it's okay and how no how is so successful you and i are talking about it at a high school game yeah 2020. yeah well i think i was trying to explain the cardboard cutout and why it was funny to my 15 year old and i think her response was is that okay yeah and i said probably not today that's a sit down yeah you got it's it is maybe a learning moment yeah someone's got a lot of a lot of plans to do about that was that a movie and did you watch it and did you laugh did you enjoy it how how was that it was bad 80s comedy weekend at bernie so much i i don't think we're allowed we got a little we talked about we talked about 80s sitcoms last time and a few a few friends that got upset with us so we probably not going to the movies from the 80s tonight i don't know if i want to stick with it let's see what happens we didn't plan on talking about 80 sitcoms last week and it just happened second half we got deep into it oh we covered a lot of ground into hollywood squares and newlywed game and some other favorite game shows it's third and ten here for bloomington north cause everybody's coming still got pressure from dawson wow gonna throw that ball out of it dawson did a nice job there a lot of pressure through the middle great job that's what we're talking about if you're going to double cover everybody on the on the outside and the defensive line is going to play like that bloomington can't move the football [Music] dawson adams having his way up front he's playing hard tonight i didn't realize he was that quick he looks faster tonight maybe it's the beard maybe his beard his beard's getting a little thicker my beard is coming in nicely yeah it's almost movember right he's he's been growing early he's been growing that thing since he was in the eighth grade that's right oh yeah for this moment yep that's a good point so we would talk about it cast at her back oh bad bounce that uh oh well you can't get in there gotta get out of there that's what we're talking about earlier that's what you want your golf ball to do you hit it with backspin yep and then it bounces you know five or six yards back it's not what the punter wanted do you see this thing yeah i saw it the other day the sheet you can get this there's like a apparently a golf spreadsheet where you can the exact distance you're supposed to hit your ball when you're like 100 yards out or 60 yards out have you ever seen this spreadsheet the distance you're supposed to hit it to land it appropriately at like 100 yards or 90 years well there's a lot of things like a save up you've seen that no no do you need it no you don't need it that's there's a lot of variables in my golf game ham is with the keeper now he's got room oh another big block right patel on the outside hammond's all the way down to 35.

man what a run that was great that was a great run dogs are looking great here moving the ball what is the best part of your golf game overall in general or or this past wednesday uh in general ah stacked him up uh anything from 180 to 120. that's where you're the man no i'm not the man nobody's good from 180. that's that's where i feel pretty confident you feel good at 180 what are you hitting from like 170 it depends what's going on generally speaking flat and nothing else that's probably a seven that's big coach flatline like i'm still you know you gotta fall over all conference in high school blythe on the screen to the outside cass that are the good block there close to a first down good block good catch nice throw clock ticking away here in the third quarter it looks like they will go they're running this little inside screen we've seen this play before but they've run it a lot tonight yeah it's a slip screen and they have run it before but they you're right they've run it probably six or seven times so far oh yeah at least it feels like they're you know and they're doing well with it right so they must see something in the bloomington uh you know bloomington has been coming out and playing this kind of uh zone i i think they're really concerned they must have come into the game worried about giving up uh you know seam routes to cast that are you know for 50 yards of pop so they came in and they're they're they're playing kind of this very loose zone and uh i don't know it's it's it's not working i'm sure they've watched the same film that we have and seen cass editor catch how many touchdowns in that post across i think four four or five something like that it feels like he's done it a bunch of times [Music] somebody 28 28-14 lead for the dogs going into the fourth quarter here third down two to go the last official regular season home game here at max andres as mentioned they the bulldogs will host center grove here in two weeks likely going to maintain the per side spectator capacity moving ahead third and two with the dogs two by two formation life in motion hams will keep it no surprise first down still on his feet looking for more he is almost free still on his feet all the way down four or five yeah i'd say coach you know we just talked about it a minute ago i think coach bless you know bulldogs coach plus would take uh four of those quarters the third quarter he'd take four of those against center grove right now i think he would take that i don't i don't disagree with you that that last quarter was maybe one of the best quarters we've seen him play you're going to have different different dudes on the other side of the ball certainly but i agree they they have looked strong here this game especially the second half and as mentioned before columbus north has four and two and the two they've lost have been close east and roncalli and both of those came down to the wire at the very end yeah so they can could they played a yeah and they weren't playing their in my opinion they didn't play their best football against east right they they played a there was a lot of like compared to tonight i mean i don't know how many flags they have i don't think they have more than one maybe two they can give two because dawson jumped off sides in the third um hammond's with the keeper for a dog score but you remember that east game it felt like there were flags in the air all night long and a lot of them were bulldogs a lot yeah a lot of them are big big flags too yeah you know so just ends the lead here 34 to 14.

columbus north having their way with the cougars 10 57 remains on the game clock here in the fourth quarter hopefully you guys weren't listening at halftime we talked about this being a seven point ball game um and it doesn't look like it's gonna be a seven point ball game what do you think coach what's bloomington going to do i i'm i've said it before i'm i'm doing everything in my power to get the ball in steinfeld's hands yeah they've targeted him once in the second half that he made on a completion 18 yards or so and i believe that's it maybe they overthrew him one other time but that was that was it i would i would run everything through the the kid that's going to play big ten football well i like that i mean i uh he he hasn't he hasn't shown any uh real weaknesses on on a longer route i mean you can run a 10 15-yard route great hands can jump i mean he gets up in the air he's the biggest guy in the field i don't know why you wouldn't do what you're saying well you mentioned it earlier they they've got not even paid much attention to their other receivers except just glancing at them yeah they got three guys that are six four they've got several good looking kids yeah lined up as slot and x and y receiver uh and the white jerseys so it you know it's it was always funny you know the the dbs the exception of maybe uh mr king um the dbs are always seem like they're a little bit smaller than the white outs to me i don't i don't know if that's true i think you know these these kids are big big tall kids but these bulldogs the dbs and the safeties they will hit you hard and so you know that's a factor that's a big factor carter's going to give a squib kick here up the middle and he's going to be brought down about the 26.

you know you can tell they they've thrown that plate that that ball a few times he's looking for that ball to be thrown a little bit longer because he's used to being the guy that goes up and gets it and that ball was under thrown and as a result was picked off bulldogs take over ball in the 41 first and ten hammond scrambling he's gonna be brought down behind the line of scrimmage this time good play that's eli shetterly the 6-2 222 senior for the cougars with the sack yeah pretty quick got in there i don't know if there's a broken play on the line but great play 9 42 on the clock clock running fourth quarter dogs lead 35 14. give us the hammonds this time nowhere to go oh excuse me hoffman huffman you know that's it's the easiest thing we do i'm sure you and i have switched those twos i mean parents at home we apologize parents in the stands we apologize we're sitting right below us we switch those two kids names around all the time they're great players steady dose coach you think just keep pounding it yeah take your time run the play clock down 13 on the play clock so far 8 53 remains in the fourth quarter take your time life in motion trips to the boundary hammond's back to pass this time with the catch at the 50 and brought down to 45 for a first down yep great great throwing catch good route say it all the time you know you watch all four routes there [Music] every single route was run well which is what creates the opportunity to have a guy catch the ball right if if if if you're the number two or the number three receiver there my guess is cassette was number one receiver there but uh um if you're not running your route he's not getting that ball ball on the right hash trips to the left trips to the field here hammonds will keep it that was the that was the play we were talking about the beginning of the game i think uh before we were actually on the air um just that little read in that defensive end he he he had the same exact look on his face in the first quarter it just freezes him right and uh and he's a good player right we just saw him make a sack a few a few plays ago but it just freezes them keeps looking better and better the way he's running the ball same play yeah all right he's in he might have scored yeah he's in bounds they're gonna say he stepped out of bounds at the six yeah what a great run again great blocking you got you got black jerseys down there blocking wide outs down there blocking i can't see the numbers from this this far away but uh just a great effort the whole right side there the line and uh and the wide-outs 7 40 on the clock 35-14 dogs lead this time they're going to give it to hoffman across the middle stop short oh one more score coach i'll do it right yeah one more score turn it into an unreachable game be pretty comfortable yeah great opportunity to get into some 80s and early 90s movie talk can cover a lot of ground about movies that's why we're here with seven minutes left 30-point blowout second and goal from the two hammonds to huffman should be stacked up for a loss yeah for sure good play a big boy number 78 oh ray stewart number 77.

also a big guy the bloomington guys up front are a couple of 300 pound guys and we we always joke around about whether the roster's telling us the truth or not uh there's a few guys on the defensive line in bloomington are definitely telling the truth on their uh on their way in big guys ray stewart is listed he's a senior 6-2 298 yeah let me ask you this it's bigger than race yeah you are 298 yeah or close to it do you just go three hammonds um you know for me i like a uh very precise approach so 298 says something about a man it says he's paying attention oh got a dog on the turf here come back to that hope everybody's okay i'm not sure who it is yeah i did not see a number i'll get it for folks here in a second it's a good effort there by huffman that ball was supposed to go up the middle and he bounced it and kept working and here and that one all the way in the corner for a for a touchdown for the dogs yeah all right get get them sitting up all right good that's isaac wood earth wood rough excuse me coming off the field coming off on his own that's good ginger but it looks okay yeah maybe an ankle or a knee just looks like a little bit of a just get banged up so 41-14 is what the scoreboard reads now 603 remains in the fourth quarter so if you are what i heard you say is if you are if you are 298 you're putting 298 in the roster yeah yeah and i'm actually the kind of guy like if i go down or up three or four pounds i'm looking for the for the for the guy i'm making copies i wanna i wanna change it week to week you want it to be accurate every week yeah you want to do friday weigh-ins yeah i'm a huge fan huh well we should talk about that some more yeah caught awards i mean yeah you know these guys in the locker room they talk about what they talk about what they're eating right they're like yeah i gained four pounds i'm you know that's it's part of the conversation like i i ate six arby's cheddar melts is is a part of the conversation like you should get credit for that okay i i don't i don't disagree i but what i'm saying is that the the question is if you're a legitimate 298 yeah do you become 302 the on the roster you do and you do it and you get to say i actually think you should have on the on the rosters to say how it happened but do you have to be 302 can you still be on the scale 298 but put 300.

oh this is a different part of the conversation we talked about this before you have to if you're going to go to 302 you have to be 302. okay you're going to just get to say it these this is the problem with all the guys that are 265. they're all 240. right the 265 guys are all lying they're extra 25 pounds because it looks intimidating 298 is 298 but 245. if you're 298 like that's different than 245 there's a lot of 245 guys there's not many 290 yeah no and then they got one that is 334. also legit i say you give it to him yeah 295 and a half carter just kicked one into the old soccer net down there by the freshman squad not fresh but look comfortable tonight don't they coach what do you what do you make of that timeout they're out there in camp chairs a couple of them that's nice we thought maybe they got thrown off the sideline but probably not i bet there's a story there is there's there's a story it's it i think it's probably some kind of camaraderie thing right we could probably make up a story yeah that's well i'm just surprised if like some of these guys are like they don't own a camp chair they got the masks on and everything you can get a camp chair at goodwill you know what i mean like those four or five guys that are sitting down on the ground well they're they've missed the snap message they're not in the snap through yes or something yeah whatsapp or whatever it is first and ten for the cougars 86 also big guy three dogs just swarmed that one yeah i don't i don't know you think there was a you think they got decided this afternoon like let's get camp chairs and sit in the end zone i'm not sure that's how it happened that's 86 i'll mention this real quick coach that's uh that's aiden steinfeld he's a freshman uh he's the youngest of aaron yeah he already looks like a senior he's a big kid no that's just oh they swallowed up there by right there luke revel for the wow for the bulldogs for a big loss we we talked about lofton's tackle earlier which was a great tackle and a great play that was the uh that that's where you get buried tackle right that's just the guy pounding you into the grass excuse me that was nate osterman on the tackle there 52 i thought it was 57 looking through dirty windows up here i suppose bunch trips formation for the cougars third and six oh no that's just great defense trying throwing up to the old charlie lingard steinfeld again yeah they they're gonna have to throw that ball up high i mean he's got a a full foot height advantage on that but you can't throw that ball inside right [Music] you know if you're gonna throw a jump ball you gotta throw outside or out of bounds yep that's why the last one got picked throw it high throw it out to the outside shoulder a little miscommunication maybe about the punt coverage yeah adding some players late here yep you might want to count them so they got 11 now stay away from that one punt huffman will wave it off rolling boy backwards again that is not that's not how my pitching wedge works at all uh he's got some backspin on his ball tonight good punch to begin with but it's a net 16 yard punt again that that poor average going to be tough tonight yeah he's got a six yarder he's got a 16 yarder that's not good coach no 438 here in the fourth quarter 42-14 is what the scoreboard reads oh well the timeout looks like uh mr horn is yeah quarterback a young guy sophomore i've seen him what three times this year so far he's been out there a few times hey this kid you know credit to him we saw him early in season saw him in scrimmage he throws a pretty ball a tall kid sure does you know completely different kind of build than the hammond's kid but can really sling it hammond's a little bit more of a thrower and a slasher the horn kid's gonna be a he he's he's built like a pocket passer right so we'll we shall see i'm sure we'll see some more him over time watching these starters over here on the bench coach from north celebrating the conference indiana win here moving to five and two a decisive win here tonight gotta feel good about where their confidence level is going into the end of the year into the tournament yeah they look they look like a fantastic football team right now compared to what we saw kind of in the middle third first third of the season you know that gibson southern game probably scratched that one off because they just beat that team badly um but then they had a little bit of a blip right and they looked a little sluggish and then uh huffman hurt his ankle came back last game huffman didn't look so great when he came back from the ankle um and now i mean this is the football team they probably expected to be ian calvert on the carry for the dogs he'll get it again here he's gonna bounce outside he's excited still on his feet and running out of bounds about the 28 that's awesome good run great run [Music] well coach be thinking about your offensive and defensive mvps we'll come back to it here and man it's always hard just a minute and thanks again to first financial bank and ruoff home mortgage for the sponsorships and ovation technology being able to stream our games here tonight calvert again on the carry for a gain of three 350 on the clock as it runs dogs lead 42-14 so coach the jolie rentals and joel lee development offensive player of the game for columbus north your choice oh it's so tough tonight um i'd probably give it to hammonds because he's thrown he's running well and he's throwing it well he's got a bunch of touchdown passes um huffman had some had some scores tonight but didn't rush for a bunch of yards like he normally does he ran well when he when he did run but hammond's i thought just did a nice job so i'd probably give it to him who do you got yeah i was thinking the same thing it's it's hard to get away from that choice he's throwing the ball well i don't know how many yards he's running for it's been about a million it seemed like in the second half every time he touched the ball he was getting 12 yards plus really secured the victory here for the dogs [Music] horn to calvert again he's got room on there certainly not it was a tough job there'd be qualified people here doing it this is true 148 on the clock and running dog is going to run that play clock down as far as they can zack horn in the gun he's going to take a knee yeah yeah this is that's just how it works right well the dogs will win this one 42-14 they travel next week to terre haute south final game of the regular season final conference game terre haute south's record struggling a little bit this year two and five coming into tonight they play southport tonight the good thing is you've already talked about the terre haute south team in our previous broadcast in sight of civil war in vigo county because i was calling school's wrong mascot that was a good chuckle the good thing is you realized it by by the time we got to the end of the third quarter you had cleared it up well josh sent me a text and he just said braves is all he said in the text that was funny i had no comments about that only only comments about 80 sitcoms so honest mistake coach that's right no great football game tonight bulldogs my opinion best game they played this season they look great they certainly do look solid that'll do it here at max andros clock's going to run all the way out final score 42-14 we will not see you next week as the dogs are on the road but we do believe we will see you here hosting on the the youtube channel a week one of sectionals against the number one ranked center grove trojans see you next time thanks for joining have a great night nice coach

i pledge allegiance to the flag of the united states of america and to the republic for which it stands one nation under god indivisible with liberty and justice for the all is a separate motion that's been consent as oh i understand okay got it okay are there any additions to the agenda we didn't have an adjustment this afternoon every every single adjustment it's under personnel and make a motion to prove the agenda as amended very discussion okay motion pass 7-0 concerns of burlington usc 244 patrons very nice thank you from now on okay bes october report if anything for darla she was on earlier darla is on we've got administration directors uh remotely tonight so i think and looks like lindsay doug matt stacy uh dave watkins is with the jv football game tonight so let's see if darla is on there darla can you hear us when she went from her phone to uh she borrowed our development she went middle school report anything for mr springs a high school report if anything for mr reid okay the technology report everybody should have a copy in front of you guys i do apologize for the latest the past couple of weeks has been kind of awkward so but i didn't want to get a lot of kudos to people so i appreciate your reveal my paper version so that new um fiber optics that we got how much more bandwidth can you steal or get uh you know right now we are at 1.5 gigabits or what's called 1 500 megabits i think realistically as a group as our county-wide group we can go up probably another 500 egg realistically and once we go beyond another 500 we don't have to redesign the fiber we just have to redesign the electronics once we start going over 000 from that standpoint you know you had speech 243 went to google classroom google video and that is a very very high end video system there of course us with microsoft teams um usb 245 using google classroom and then just even and working with like james and the hospital staff they had a couple of big projects this summer that moved to more internet based uh the courthouse had more internet just everybody bloomed but really it was it's a remote learning that's really the biggest growth piece and then just some stuff we're seeing in each of the different pieces so i think 500 bank would take care of it and basically the federal government's allowing us a chance because of copen to adjust mid-year to make our pipes bigger and give us more grant money to do that so um you think that'll cover us for a long time or are we looking at buying all the new equipment to actually get a bigger sounds like it sounds like it's not in the near far future to need a much bigger toolbox right right we did we did this basically every spring for a july startup and so basically really where it's going to fall down to us is it's going to fall on two vendors for our past couple of years it's been valmet and empty networks it's going to fall on those two vendors to do some equipment upgrades to support the type that we want to grow to so it's not going to be on us it's going to be on the vendor to make those changes to support the next level of bandwidth all right that's good yep any other questions uh you put on your report about the five thousand dollar grants and i know craig had on this week with 3600 or something i saw that yeah so i i really appreciate everybody continuing to work on grant writing i know darla has you know several of y'all so great job on continuing to look for ways to fund the outcome at coming up with the general funds i appreciate that uh lindsay do you have a report um [Music] [Applause] [Music] okay there's a few things listed there um again the organizational report comes down with the count day of september 21 this year so i want to thank everybody technology department central office staff principal secretary just a whole team effort and very important to get that done on time accurate so we have our funding appropriately and accordingly uh we have a half day for staff development coming up on october 19th that's going to focus on the mandatory dyslexia training there's like three different two-hour modules for a grand total of six hours of training the state has put together those modules so you can stop and start those however you want to and you can put your teams together so the building administrators have put together let's say for example the first grade teachers are going to get together and the staff that work with them in second grade and so on and so forth so they're working on putting together the connections as far as the people and they're going to take time and it'll probably be over at two two half days that we do this if you're trying to do all six hours at once it's mine i mean uh lindsay and i went through the training went through it uh on three days two days two or three days i can't even remember but um so anyway that's what we're going to do we're going to break it up basically into half and then the staff they can stop and start those modules have discussions they will also have access email or phone number with the presenter the actual lady who did for presenting so that's a good thing we have the first quarter ending nine weeks coming up we have nine weeks in the books on the 16th of october uh again it's hard to believe we're one fourth of the year through and we have made it on site and remotely so yay for everybody administrators directors all of our staff board of education patrons you name it it's been a true team effort and then on the 30th of october we won't have a school because grand teacher conference at the parent teacher conference makeup day and kind of tie in on a couple other quick notes here um that i didn't get to put down i have to apologize because there was an honor we received navigating change 2020 food service operations committee this was when they were working on again the navigating change document uh tracy served on that committee focusing on food service i'm going to read the information and i got the information to katie and the republican today kansas can step up to the lead it is important to ensure all children have access to school meals regardless of the learning environment for the health and well-being of students continuation and adaptation of meal service in some form should remain a priority in the 2020-2021 school year ksde extends its sincere appreciation to the members of the navigating change food service committee who stepped up to lead and donated their time to research and then developed considerations for food service operations to be included in ksdes navigating change kansas guide to learning and school safety operations so tracy was involved in that committee so i want to thank her and they'll be harmful coming up in the paper so big thanks there a couple other items real quick too that i didn't get to because again things happen so fast talking about grants we are in the process of a lot hopefully we're going to find out some information on grants we applied for a fema grant tracy and i worked on a fema grant about 130 1 000 and change approximately we are finishing our lab will be submitted to that but they've come back with just a few questions fema and it's very very detailed we're going to have everything lined up so we're hopefully hopeful i think i hopefully have asked answered the last question that was asked today but we're hoping to find out about that money coming um soon and then also we've got the daycare grant to the jones foundation for about 325 000 we're going to hopefully find out some information there and also the county has looked at helping us out with some of their spark funds submitted some information to ron the true love amber presley and so we'll see if we get some money there to help us out because there's a need obviously for daycare especially now in this cold world that we live in so um anyway grants we have a lot of grants out there floating and if you know of any prayers you can say that pastor hail maybe i'll help us out with anybody and everybody say keep the good vibes coming and i mentioned to you in one of my friday notes that we were maybe looking at the going to get another 10 passenger van because we're actually running some bands for bus routes now those 10 passengers the 10 passenger van we got has been just tremendous uh we'll probably look to maybe uh to do a um a just a proposal a bid for put out bids for that if you guys are okay with that we'll look to trade in two vehicles an older van we have a van that's sitting with about 130 000 miles doesn't go out of town and then we have an older car we're not doing a lot of transportation for uh for conferences and for uh in-service and things like that because a lot of it is now you can see zoomable um that type of thing so if you're okay with that so i'd like to go to you know go ahead and look to submit uh applications for bits and try to get something going one of the reasons we're doing it now is because last year we approved one in november covent threw havoc with our ban we didn't get until july there are very few transit vans out there right now there's less than a handful if you don't get it now then you look to have to special order if you special order you could be looking at july again so that's one of the reasons we kind of want to do it now anyway it'll adjust our capital outlay a little bit but what our transportation needs right now those extra two seats and vans are very very helpful not only for the kids if we're driving it as a bus route but also if we have activities we're sending uh mike vance for example if we send c team football three coaches drive three vans at times because of our lack of bus drivers questions on that so it hasn't been budgeted but you're gonna move some stuff in capital yes um yes exactly and the approximate number is somewhere around by the time you do a trade-in i'm going to say between 38 and 30 36 and 40 000.

2020-10-13 Somerset County, NJ YouTube / Board Meeting transcript source: youtube Board Meeting 10-12-20 · passage 1
okay [Music] you're good all right let me get to the open public meetings law the new jersey open public's meeting law was enacted to ensure the right of the public to have advanced notice of and to attend the meetings of public bodies at which time any business affecting their interests is discussed and acted upon in accordance with the provisions of this act and board of education policy 0162 the board of education and the borough of bound rook has caused notice of this meeting to be posted in the board office and at fountainbrook high school and mailed or fast to the courier news foundry borough clerk south bound brook board of education and any person who has requested individual notice and paid the required fee please stand for the first i pledge allegiance to the flag of the united states of america and to the republic for which it stands one nation under god indivisible with justice [Music] mr here um i just want to thank all the teachers faculty staff parents for making the beginning of the school year run as i guess as best as we can under the circumstances um i know tonight you're gonna we have talked about um speaking about going forward uh whether or not we want to keep what we have in place as is or whether or not we wanted to amend it so i guess we will look forward to that and i would like to thank mrs alloy is retiring this year so i want to thank her 22 years of service to this district um i'm sad to see her go um so i hope that uh wherever she is going or what she whatever plan she has for the future will be you know uh a new chapter in her life so thank you for your service to us so i guess that's basically it it's all yours um i just have a couple things um first one is we have to open up the pse free room um so we have a teacher for that room so [Music] on monday um the other thing is we got a letter from the state as i told you back in the summertime they were giving us a lot of leeway for grants and moving teachers around unfortunately um last week we were notified that we must keep all of our pre-school teachers um in pre-k positions or we'll use that funding so we have to make some some changes in uh where we have some of our pre-school teachers notifications went out today about some changes that are going to happen there and then the one thing that we are starting to notice that i want to make mention of and hopefully we can get some support for this is we are starting to see particularly so we really need some parents to uh kind of help us out make sure that the students are logging on and eating the tasks that they are uh supposed to be completing because we are getting a lot of students that are you know um turning off their cameras or walking away and coming up with excuses for not completing their assignments and doing the work that they have so we are trying to uh work with families and trying to get some of those things done but i wanted to make mention of that as for the other topic um on the schedules the district has opened a in a hybrid manner for the month of september using a half-day schedule with 50 of our students in person and 50 of the students virtually today we have had no pieces of transmission of cobia 19 in our schools however we have had a few features at 19 outside of school which has impact classrooms to a limited degree currently i know we have one student that may have kovit but this is this has not affected our classroom students or teachers as this again was outside of school the current covenant data from the state has 16 school of outbreaks with 58 linked cases to school the central west region if everybody recalls in the summer time we went through those maps from the health department about regions we are in the central west region currently we are in the green zone we are no longer in yellow we are on the green however in the central east zone which is middle section town mexico state or in the yellowism as we discussed moving forward with the potential of extending the school day to a full day i would like to board to keep in mind we have been in school for only four full weeks and the start of the normal flu season is just beginning i would also question the borders please remember that flute and coconut systems are almost identical as we discussed this issue as we discussed this issue i do believe that it's in our best interest to have more time pass before we meet [Music] however if the board would like to have a discussion um moving forward with uh some ideas for a full day school um one of the first things i would suggest is we establish the number of open seats that we have in our pre-k classrooms to see how many students we can accommodate would be step one step two would be send out a request to our virtual only parents for an indication of how many would like to change from virtual to in person if the requests are more than the open seats that we have we will need to take a look at our schedule from a five day week schedule to a possible av schedule to accommodate those requests which then would be a complete schedule change what we currently have which again i think would not be a welcome situation we could try a full day scheduled trial we can either start a full day trial schedule starting november 9th through december 22nd or start november 30th through december 22nd again that's really regular flu season or we could wait until january 4th to try out full days of tribe schedule from january 4th um again i'm still late to have more school data than just four weeks i really do think you know we have about eight weeks of doubt to make it well but obviously you know i know you guys want to talk about that today so i'm just giving you that information that i have and if you like have that discussion now i guess we can do you want to have it at the beginning um do you want to do you want to have it at the beginning of the meeting or do you want to just wait to get through the meeting and talk about it because i mean we're not voting on on that tonight anyway correct correct you can do it on your uh um all right so at this point we had no uh committee meetings between between correct oh no we have cancer um tonight okay uh is there anyone in the public that would like to come hearing none all right and we have no comments online all right minutes of 9 28 can i get a motion to approve the minutes from 9 28 20 20.
