this first one is good most of the nba teams you're we see in the triple digits but very other seldom we ever see a college team let alone a high school team as boyer gets that one to fall 72 points as well i think wins some games at the collegiate level it's just they ran into a great offensive team tonight with the silver creek dragons as number 32 and blocked by daniel murphy he sent that one and gets that one but throws that pass away maybe got too excited with that and they have the numbers free throw jump shot good by number 20. isaac hinton he's the only starter i believe left here in the game as dana murphy takes a step back and good setback three daniel murphy looks like the olympians about to clear the bench out here as the jv team did pick up a big win over silver creek great job by the jv players as they are about to all check in as they get him trapped stolen by boyer throws it up to murphy gets the left block and good 77 points by the o's your hands cramping up yet it's kind of more on my shoulders and there we have it folks our starters are good they played a fantastic game good work by all five of them 77 points wins mostly i would say 80 of the games here at this level like we've mentioned several times ran into a the third ranked team in the state and they're ranked third for a reason yeah see how the jv boys do here this one is up and long and rebounded by anthony lloyd and they find coleman his brother graduated last year he's one of the two seniors gets that one to fall 1 30 left to go here in the fourth like we mentioned jv did pick up a win over silver creek so good work by them i think the future's bright for these uh maybe for the olympians here as they have quite a bit of seniors but also getting the younger guys quite a bit of playing time as we have julius daly one of a younger sophomore getting quite a bit of action tonight it's always good when younger guys can get some experience in a varsity game you always want it the other way around though when you're up by a lot instead of down by law as anthony stays there and gets that one to fall personally i know anthony he runs track and he has some major hops as he almost threw tried to throw one down in the jv game but miss handled that one this handled the dunk in the jv game 38.4 seconds 34.8 seconds excuse me left here in the fourth maybe got away with maybe the dragons are gonna dribble the clock out here all righty folks it looks like that's all we're gonna have tonight yo's played hard for four quarters that's what something we mentioned here at the beginning of the broadcast i mean as a coach you can't be really mad 81 points it's just the offense was not the problem tonight a little few things there maybe some boxing out very pleased with the o's and their performance tonight 81 points but silver creek comes away with the win silver creek starts their season on the winning side as the o's come away on the losing end but a fantastic game by the olympians zach you got any big plans for tomorrow uh unfortunately our family decided to cancel our usual thanksgiving it'll just be my immediate family but yeah we're gonna still try and celebrate watch some football hopefully the nfl kicks back their times to have a 425 and 825 game with them postponing the sunday night game but other than that yeah i think that's what my family's gonna do sounds good to me well thank you guys for all tuning in and tuning into this live stream from caden wise zach pierce and myself malachi parks that's all we have here tonight here in the orange pit you guys have a great thanksgiving and enjoy it with your close family and be safe and have a good rest of your evening thank you guys
[Music] um oh [Music] all right guys [Music] is [Music] [Applause] good night ladies and gentlemen welcome on into the stream i am your commentator voice of the mustangs mr chad shulo and this is the final game of the season between your clifton mustangs and the overtame blue knights [Music] [Applause] the clifton mustangs ended up losing a little bit of a big game last week two they ended up losing a big game last week to west orange it was 27 to 19. but the mustangs are looking to bounce back this week they got both the kicker and their punter back the stethophilis brothers and they're looking to get a w to end the year you know kyle vellis jacob maldonado just everybody looked like they were having a rough game last week but they're looking to bounce back and let's see if they can do it [Music] is do [Music] my it [Music] um thank you [Music] oh [Music] so [Music] [Applause] and we are live at joseph greco field on a beautiful night good good afternoon mustangs fans i am your voice of the mustangs visit chad chulo and this is the final game of the year between the clifton mustangs in the everington blue knights last week the mustangs struggled and a big time loss but this week they're looking to bounce back and play a big game and end the season off with a huge win they are very motivated tonight you do and at midfield they're doing the coin toss and here are your captains from left to right number 28 joshua hernandez number 10 kyle vellas number 56 omar al jazeera number four nick burgess and at midfield right now number 70 muhammad abu drabbo and the coin toss will decide where the mustangs begin this game and the mustangs are pumped up [Music] and clifton is going to receive and the mighty mustangs are going to try and get down the field and score a touchdown [Music] [Applause] and out comes the special teams for both sides luke's showtime swayze back to receive the kick for the clifton mustangs [Music] and the kick is up and it will be returned by donovan swayze and there he goes inside the 25 down at about the 26 and that is where the mighty mustangs will begin their first drive of the game and out comes kyle vellis kyle velas bit of a rough game last week you know but he's looking to bounce back here and i'm very confident he will he's a very smart quarterback he's very athletic he knows where his strengths and weaknesses are let's see if he can do way better than last week shotgun formation two receivers left to right shotgun velus takes the snap handoff goes to maldonado and he gets brought down at the 37-yard line and that is a five-yard gain second and five for the mustangs shotgun formation for villas two receivers left two right maldonado in the backfield he takes the snap off maldonado gets the hand off again gets no gain it'll be third down and five this is a spot where the mustangs were really struggling last week on third down let's see if they can fix that this week [Applause] [Music] [Applause] shotgun formation for vellus two receivers on each side he takes the snap he's looking he's throwing it's caught and it looks like it's for a first down michael kristoff [Music] [Applause] [Music] three receivers right and one left rpo looks like from revels handoff goes to jacob maldonado gets a gain of about three there and it'll be second second down and seven to go [Music] here we go two receivers left to right velos takes the snap he's looking he's looking rolls left fires and it is out of bounds and it'll be third down at six looking for michael kristoff there [Music] remember like i said before this is a spot where the mustangs did struggle last week so they are looking to really zone in here they were really looking at this during practice as i was told by multiple players now let's see where they go here three receivers right one left one man in the backfield velos takes a snap deep drop fires and it is dropped looking for luke scenario and it'll be fourth down and six and the mustangs looks like they're bringing out the punting team julian solomon back to punt for clifton [Music] snap goes to him the kick is up pretty good kick takes a bounce at the 27 they're letting it bounce very nice and it is picked up at the 17.
very nice punt by julian solomon and out comes the iranian blue knights [Music] every time to begin their drive at about the 17 and a half yard line takes the snap handoff goes bounces the outside bounces back inside and he's brought down at the 27-yard line that is a gain of nine on the play by running back al jay henderson [Music] henderson with a very nice run there takes the snap henderson gets the handoff bounces inside brought down at the 31 yard line only a gain of three on the play but it'll go for a first down [Music] zakay swan in there at quarterback [Music] swan takes a snap hands it off to henderson and the play is blown up at the line of scrimmage and he is stopped for a loss brought down at the 30-yard line [Applause] that was a great great play by the mustangs defense that was number 51 owen riordan that was a great play by owen [Applause] [Music] three receivers left one right swan waiting takes the snap looking looking has a lot of time fires caught for a first down [Applause] irvington is going to hurry up their offense they're really trying to get down the field trying to get a little more i'm trying to get a little more momentum [Applause] running back switches to swans left on the second clap handoff goes bounces to the outside he breaks attack when he's brought down by nick burgess at the 47 yard line [Music] rakeem ross on the carry three receivers right one left shotgun swan hand off again and that time he's bottled up with the line of scrimmage [Applause] for team ross and that carry he did get the first down but the mustangs really do need to stop them on first down in order for this drive in order for that play to really be really to mean something more so let's see if they can stop them on first down here they're coming out to measure the ball see if they really did get the first down one of the very few times we've seen this this year and did they get it let's see yes it is a first down for irvington very close call [Music] shock information for swan takes a snap handoff goes and he is bottled up at the 45-yard line nick burgess there again to swallow that run game [Music] rakeem ross on the carry there running back splits out vine ross splits out wide five receivers on the field three two three to swan's right two is left [Applause] men in motion five wide for swan he takes the snap he's looking he's gonna throw doesn't have a lot of time rolls out right being chased down by burgess he fires [Applause] ball is thrown up in the air and incomplete [Applause] and it'll be third down and ten great pass rush by the mustangs they're nick burgess getting to the quarterback and he was panicking and he just had to get out of there but let's see if the most gangs can can finish this drive here let's see if they can just end it and get the ball back on this third down play there's a k swan a quarterback [Applause] keem ross in the backfield three receivers right one to his left swan takes a snap it doesn't have a lot of time and he breaks the sack takes it himself and he's brought down after a gain of two and it'll be fourth down in there to make the play and it'll be fourth down and seven for the blue knights and it looks like they're gonna go for it two receivers right two receivers left one man in the backfield swan under center backs up goes into shotgun takes the snap and they're gonna punt it a little bit of trickery there and it's got to the back of the end zone and it's a touch back which means the mustangs will begin their drive [Music] very good defensive stop bye cliff's in there now let's see if we can get down for you [Music] 80 yards down field they have to go if they want to get in the end zone let's see if they can finish one receiver left to right one man in the backfield fellas handoff goes to maldonado brought down at the 23.
nice gain on that play second down and seven for the mustangs three receivers left one right maldonado in the backfield vellus takes the snap flag on the field which means the play is dead assuming it's a penalty on irvington due to the clapping on mustang sideline and it is a neutral zone infraction on irvington that is a five yard penalty and it will be second down and three for the mustangs much easier and much more manageable than second and eight [Music] three receivers left one right maldonado in the backfield shotgun formation for velus he takes the snap play action pass rolls left has some time looking throwing and it is out of bounds and incomplete and it'll be third down and three i was intended for luke samari and it'll be third down and three [Music] this is a really awkward position for the mustangs it's not really a passing down but it's not really a running down either so they can really choose either kind of play here but expect to pass they did throw it a lot last week so i would expect a pass here but who knows two receivers left one right fellas takes a snap he's gonna take it himself and he is dropped at about the line of scrimmage it'll be fourth down and five and the mustangs are bringing out the pun team a three and out for the irvington blue knights [Music] solomon with a punt out of bounds at about midfield and that is where irvington will begin their drive two minutes and 41 seconds left to go in the first quarter and it is a scoreless game so far ball is spotted at the 49 yard line and out comes the blue knights offense [Music] had a pretty decent drive last last time they got to about midfield and then they they punted it on a little trick play which was interesting haven't seen anything like that all year [Music] but let's see what happens here shotgun formation swan takes a snap hands it off he bounces to the outside stiff arm is a man past midfield brought down at the 39 yard line and it'll be a 10 yard gain and depending on where they market it could be a first down carry by jay henderson [Applause] flag on the field and it is on the blue knights they will move backwards and the ball will be spotted on the 37 yard line [Music] it was holding on the blue knights first at 18 at the 37 yard line my mistake first and 23 swan takes the snap handoff goes he gets past midfield brought down inside the 50 at the 47.
brian feliciano the silent assassin on the tackle that was a pretty good run by jay henderson and now it'll be second down and eight for the blue knights shotgun formation two receivers left one right henderson of the backfield swann takes the snap hands it off on a counter he bounces to the outside gets past the 45 inside the 40. it's thrown out of bounds by feliciano there and it'll be first down in 10 for the blue knights jay henderson seems to be getting a bit of the workload this game but they have he hasn't splitting carries this game with rakeem ross so maybe you'll expect to see that a little bit as he is out there right now rakeem ross but let's see what happens three receivers right one left swann takes a snap handoff goes to ross he bounces inside after getting nothing and he is shoved out of bounds very hard to hit there by donovan swayze and it'll be second down and 10 for the blue knights second and nine for the blue knights clock is winding down 51 seconds at a surprising scoreless first quarter i don't think we've had anything like this all season very interesting let's see what happens here maybe that could all change on this drive shotgun formation two receivers left one one right ross gets the handoff he's stuck to the line of scrimmage bounces to the outside past the 20 brought down at the 16-yard line and that'll be a big pick up for rakeem ross and it'll be a first down for irvington brian feliciano there to make the tackle that pretty much saved them from scoring a touchdown [Music] two receivers right one left ross in the backfield handoff goes to ross 13.
and the clock is winding down and we end the first quarter zero zero scoreless first quarter and we'll be back after a short intermission [Music] okay [Music] magazines let's go [Music] hey sweatpants [Applause] [Music] and we are back for those of you just tuning in it is a scoreless game and irvington just changed that with a touchdown [Applause] a 17-yard carry for keem ross and irvington's on the board wow now that irvington's on the board they have a six nothing lead the kick is up very high and is good that turns into seven nothing rakeem ross with a 17-yard carry that gives irvington a 7-0 lead and the mustangs are looking to answer back on this drive for those of you just tuning in welcome for those of you who have been here welcome back mustangs now down seven nothing looking to bounce back here and it's the final game of the year so let's see what they can put together here [Music] hmm [Music] donovan swayze back there to return for the mustangs along with caleb bonaparte going to kick off to the mustangs our return game has been pretty decent this year the kick is up and it's a pretty decent one bounces at the 18 and the mustangs need to get it and they do and they will start their drive where the ball was picked up at the 22 yard line and out comes the mustangs offense here we go ball's on the 21 yard line let's see if they can bounce back and score a touchdown two receivers right two left maldonado on the back field shotgun formation velus takes the snap a little low throws right caught brought down at the at the 24 yard line [Music] on the reception and it'll be second down handoff goes to bonaparte who gets a nice hole breaks a tackle brought down at the 35 and that is a mustangs first down there is an injured mustang on the field um [Music] is i say this every week but i'll just say again you know regardless if you move for the blue knights you're for the mustangs for whoever injuries are never ever a good thing and you know they happen a little frequently here and there and it's it's never good to see in this case it is a clifton mustang seems to be an apparent leg injury [Music] [Applause] that is number 56 i believe omar al jazeera our starting center as a side note he is a good friend of mine so hopefully he's okay and he'll get back in the game as soon as possible an 11-yard pickup on the last play by caleb bonaparte he's in the backfield once again three receivers to his left one to the right bonaparte gets the handoff on the second play and he is stuffed at the line of scrimmage brought down at the 31 yard line loss of three on the play [Music] second and twelve for the mustangs going apart in the backfield two receivers one receiver right three left velos takes the snap he's gonna throw he's looking steps into it fires caught by michael kristoff irvington's saying you're complete [Applause] ball is spotted at the 46 yard line and let's see and i believe they gave him a first down there yes they did [Music] [Applause] bottom part gets the handoff and he is stopped at the 45 yard line gain of zero on the run and i'll be second down in 10.
that was a very debatable play right there they were not completely 100 sure kristoff caught that but they gave him the benefit of the doubt and that is a good thing for the mustangs [Music] on the backfield velos is going to throw he fires it's out of bounds which means it's incomplete looking for luke cenary and it'll be third down and 10. [Music] like i said beforehand in the game this is a spot where the mustang struggled and they really did focus on in practice this is a spot where the mustangs did need to improve it and they're looking to to show that they will and can and have improved in it here in this game here we go three receivers left one right maldonado on the backfield shotgun for vellus he takes the snap he's looking people on him and he is sacked for a big loss [Applause] [Music] and they're going to have to punt the ball away to irvington [Music] julian solomon on the pawn here [Music] the kick is up it's a very good kick it's a bomb and the ball is dropped by irvington very nice front by julian solomon [Applause] ball is spotted at the 19 yard line that is a big punt by julian solomon great play looks like the mustang coaches are a little upset due to the fact that they missed an illegal block in the back that could have been extra negative yards for irvington but these refs are very picky they don't really throw their flags around like that [Music] and there is a flag against the blue knights [Applause] a little bit late but they were able to pick up on the penalty and their drive will begin even farther back ball spotted at about the 10 yard line two receivers left once it was right he takes the snap play action looking he's got a man wide open over the middle and he's going he's cast the 40 brought down inside 35 at the 36 and the mustangs just gave up a huge play to irvington very well drawn out taeyeon battle number 11 with a huge reception that puts them inside the 35 yard line swan takes the snap hands off goes and he is brought down at about the 40-yard line and it'll be second down and seven jay henderson was on that carry second and 10.
oh the 41 yard line swan takes the snap handoff goes to henderson he breaks the tackle and he's brought down at the 49 yard line for a first down [Music] luke scenario on the tackle [Music] two receivers on each side one man in the backfield timeout called by irvington with seven minutes and two seconds remaining in the corner [Music] for those of you who have tuned in thank you for tuning in for those of you who are joined in a little bit later welcome clifton is down seven nothing with seven minutes and two seconds left to go i want to thank each and every single one of you who have tuned in from week in and week out this is the final clifton mustangs football game we'll be doing this year so each of the viewers have tuned in to this game previous games thank you so much every viewer means something and each and every one of you have helped us out throughout these streams and thank you guys for tuning in each week now let's see if the clifton mustangs can have an answer for this irvington offense as they have been driving down the field pretty well so far two receivers lined up on each side one man in the backfield swan takes a snap play-action pass throwing balls batted up in the air and nearly picked off that was a great play by brian feliciano the silent assassin almost got an interception by omar muhenson wait they couldn't quite get it it was just out of his reach but that was still a very nice defensive play there is a penalty against the blue knights [Music] penalty was accepted by the mustangs ball spotted at about the 38-yard line [Applause] i believe it was holding three receivers left one right and one man in the backfield shotgun formation for swan he takes the snap hands the ball off and he is stuffed after a gain of maybe two yards nick burgess having a pretty solid game today on out there making a few good tackles and he's been one of the bright spots of this mustangs team so far in general second and 22.
[Music] five wide for swan he takes the snap he's obviously throwing he has a lot of time he dumps it off and he's got a lot of room cable boat apart on the tackle as they get to midfield and it'll be third down and 12. [Music] this episode made by marvin travis three receivers right one left running back motions he's looking swans looking he's rolling right fires caught and i believe that is a first down [Music] fourth and four for the blue knights let's see what they do here this could really be a momentum changer for either side depending on what happens and they are gonna go for it three receivers left one right one man in the backfield [Music] running back motions swans looking he throws and it's overthrown turnover on downs mustangs football [Applause] looking for jay henderson on the flat and it was overthrown great pressure by the mustangs nick burgess in there once again having one great game and the mustangs are going to take over at the 41-yard line in their own territory [Music] here we go mustangs coming out looking to answer back after irvington scored a touchdown earlier velos takes the snap a jet sweep to donovan swayze brought down at the 42-yard line and it'll be second down and seven for the mustangs three receivers left one right malted out on the backfield shotgun for vellus he hesitates looking for a play maldonado switches to the other side receivers motion a little bit to the left fellas takes the snap he's going to throw has time has to escape a little bit of pressure breaks the sack steps up throwing deep and he's got him oh my newt henson with a big play that is an amazing play by kyle vellas unbelievable there is a flag on the field [Music] there's a flag on it was a personal foul on irvington mustangs get a huge play there that was a massive completion [Music] a really nice play overall by clifton a 30-yard throwing catch from kyle vellis to omar munhansen very nice play and now the clifton mustangs start their drive they're in the red zone very close too spot at the 9-yard line an extra 15 yards tacked on after the big play and is first and goal for the mustangs there was a personal foul roughing the passengers so they they tacked on an extra 15 yards to the 30-yard reception and now the mustangs will begin their drive at the 9.
going apart in the backfield gets the handoff bounces to the outside bounces back in and he is in touchdown mustangs kayla bonafide bonaparte [Applause] and the mustangs answer back with a 9-yard carry [Music] there's a flag on the field [Music] unsportsmanlike contact on the mustangs it's after the place the touchdown does stand christophelus on the kick here extra point there are flags on the field and it's called on the new the blue knights offsides they did jump a little bit early and the extra point is just a little bit closer for chris stethophilus [Music] ball's at the 10 which makes us a 20 yard kick snaps taking a little high kick is up and it is through the uprights and the mustangs tie the game [Applause] and the mustangs bench is all hyped up after a huge throwing catch from velos to omar muhinson that set up the touchdown to caleb bonaparte oh [Music] [Applause] the mustangs are going to kick off [Music] and caleb bonaparte gets the nine yard touchdown carrie had a had a rushing touchdown last week and this is two consecutive games in his final game of the year he gets another one [Music] stephophilus going to kick off for the mustangs as i said before there was an unsportsmanlike conduct penalties the mustangs kick off the kickoff is going to be way farther back at the 25.
stathophilus with the kick and they boot it to the 50-yard line bit of a squib kick there and they're going to return it past the 30 20 15 10 5. touchdown blue knights and the blue knights answer back quickly on a kick return touchdown vt tory on the return there's a flag on the field [Music] but irvington gets a huge huge return that gives them a lead right back pounds he was on irvington it looks like they're going to have to kick the extra point a little bit longer [Applause] so that 15 is a big penalty on the mustangs before caused irvington to get an easier kick return and now they turn that 13-7 lead into a 14-7 lead after the extra point is through the uprights and now the mustangs have to come out and answer back again after irvington gets a huge kick return touchdown so that penalty did come back to bite clifton but we know the mustangs the mighty mustangs are fighters they work hard and let's see if they can put all that hard work into this drive to hopefully tie up the game once again [Music] the t tory on a huge kick return that was the player that was on the kick return v t torrey and now after that miraculous touchdown by irvington they're going to kick off to the mustangs showtime swayze and bonafide bonaparte who had a nine yard touchdown earlier in the game are back to return the kick for the mustangs [Applause] both special teams seem ready whistles blown kick is up balls in the hands of one of the mustangs he just falls to the ground at the 26 yard line [Music] ball down by number 45 chaque brimley a very good player for the mustangs this year fall spot at the 27 yard line 3 minutes and 44 seconds left in the first half of play mustangs need to drive 73 yards down the field in order to get in the end zone let's see what velos and the must and the mighty mustangs get put together here one man in the backfield two receivers on each side fellas takes a snap fires about immediately caught by omar munson and he is laid out [Music] after a two yard reception [Music] and it is a pickup of two on the completion of the second down and eight the player got all up in omar's face right there and the mustangs are looking for an unsportsmanlike conduct there and they're not going to get it the raps once again getting the mustangs a little bit killed here hand off goes to jacob maldonado brought down at the 32 yard line about five yards and will be third down and three to go for the mustangs [Music] here we go let's see what the mustangs can do here third and five fellas takes the snap he's gonna throw doesn't have a lot of time fires a little overthrown looking for mu henson there and it'll be a three and out for the for the mustangs and out comes julian solomon and the punting team very crucial drive there for the mustangs and um henson did get hit pretty hard and one of the players get did get pretty close to him and started bragging and whatnot if i'm not mistaken that is an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty but the refs they just don't throw the flags they just didn't throw the flag it's a little strange that they didn't do so but looks like the mustangs are punting here at three and out over the snap the snap was really high over his head solomon couldn't even get his hand on the ball out of the back of the end zone that is a safety very high snap solomon just kicked the ball on the back of the end zone instead of letting them get close to the end zone and picking up the ball which is very smart and instead of them driving down the field and potentially scoring they do score but only two points 16 irvington seven mustangs and irvington has a nine point lead that is two scores now that is absolutely killer so after a safety irvington has to hunt the ball back at their safety [Music] now irvington does get the ball back solomon gets to punt it back to them which means irvington gets a chance to drive down the field now and snot and put up a touchdown to extend their lead or possibly kick the field goal or maybe the mustangs can stop them here let's see solomon's gonna punt it first time we had a safety all year solomon long punt pretty good balls return from the 35 yard line gets past the 50.
breaks a tackle brought out of bounds at the 45 that is where irvington will begin their drive with a nine point lead two and a half minutes left in the second in the first half of play and out comes the blue knights blue knights looking to extend and already to score lead looking to make it larger and harder for clifton to come back three receivers left one right swan takes the snap handoff goes to ross brought down at the 40s brought down at the 49 yard line i believe or know the 42 yard line and it'll be second down all right three receivers two receivers left two right one man in the backfield mustang showing blitz they back off swann looking throwing it's a screen he's got rakim ross he gets past the 30 past the 20 and he is stumbled and tackled at the 5 yard line there's a flag on the play let's see as if this coming back is a false start on the offense which means the play that got them into the red zone at about the five-yard line the scream to rakeem ross goes all the way back and it'll be second down and i believe 13.
[Music] realignment three alignments [Music] one receiver right three left [Applause] ball is put at the 47 yard line clocks winding down a minute and 50 left to go in the first half of play five wide swan takes a snap he's throwing he has a lot of time he's looking deep and it is nearly picked off but a complete was looking deep very good coverage by clifton [Music] bonaparte knocking down the pass and they'll be third down and 13 for the blue knights [Music] here we go third and thirteen let's see if the mustangs can stop here a minute and 38 on the clock three receivers left one right swan takes the snap there is a penalty flag on the field i believe it is a false start and it is it is a false star on irvington which makes their third down and 13 a third down and 18.
[Music] third and 18 for the blue knights let's see if they can convert here this is a very hard play to convert on here but let's see what happens here five wide swan takes the snap has some time looking steps up fires very low pass it complete and mustangs are going to get the ball back as the blue knights bring out the special teams last time irvington pointed they did a little bit of a trick play where it looked like they were going to go for it they did a snap and the person who got the snap ended up punching it and it was a touch back let's see what they do here [Music] caleb bonafide bonaparte who has a nine-yard touchdown carry this game back to return [Music] [Applause] a little bit of a high snap pond is up balls bouncing the ball hit a member of the blue knights and the mustangs should have picked up the punt but they didn't and it'll be first down intent for the mustangs at about the 15 yard line ball spotted at the 23.
mustangs need to drive pretty far down the field a minute and 22 a little bit time strapped but let's see what the mustangs get put together here maybe they could get a field goal to end the first half of play malted auto on the backfield three receivers to veloci's right one left shotgun formation he takes the snap he's gonna throw fires right for bonaparte and it is dropped and it'll be second down and 10 a minute and 18 left to go in the first half of play [Music] mustangs break the huddle two receivers lined up on each side of the field maldonado on the backfield minute 18 left to go nine point lead for irvington velas takes the snap has some time steps up he's looks like he's gonna take it himself stumbles a little bit falls forward gets back to the line of scrimmage there's a flag on the play is holding on the [Music] offense ball spotted at the 9 yard line now second and very long for the mustangs here swayze gets the hint let's get the hand off on a jet sweep brought down at the eighth third and long for the mustangs [Music] blue knights to call a timeout 53 seconds left of play in the first half mustangs looking to drive down the field third and 23 at their own nine at their own nine yard line just a quick note as the timeout goes on thank you to all of you who have tuned in the stream to those of you who have just joined welcome is a 16 to 7 lead by the blue knights [Music] and the mustangs have the ball right now looking to drive down the field and end the first half with a score ball spotted at their own seven yard line third and 23.
let's see what the muslins can put together here thank you ladies and gentlemen for those of you who are tuning in two receivers developers right one left maldonado gets the handoff he brings the carry up to the 12 yard line 47 seconds left in the in the second quarter in the first half timeout is called by irvington now they're trying to get the ball back and probably put up another score here to end so they can so they can come out here in the second half and score and just completely extend their lead to make this game a bit of a blowout but the mustangs are going to try and not allow that let's see what happens [Music] um [Music] the mustangs are going to punt the ball last time they did that the ball was very high snapped anyway out of the back of the end zone irvington got two points on a safety but the mustangs are looking to not let that happen this time and hopefully get a good punt like they have every other time other than that play they have because they the punting so far by julian solomon has been pretty good but let's see what happens here snap very far left he's down on the ground and that is another safety that has two safeties in the row for irvington they have an 18-7 lead unbelievable this is unlike anything i've ever seen before irvington's first last two points their last two scores have both been safeties [Music] for those of you who are confused it is pretty much college rules if he's down at on the end zone it is a safety unlike the nfl the pros where you have to be touched down for you to be considered down but he was the ball was way far snapped left solomon couldn't quite hold his balance and now irvington extends their lead to 11.
18-7 and solomon's going to pump the ball back off to them again [Music] return by rakeem ross past the past midfield brought down at the 48-yard line tackle made by owen tackle made by the silas hassan brian feliciano 35 seconds left to go in the first half let's the mustangs are looking to get a big stop here and hopefully go into the second half only by only with 11 point deficit first and ten for the blue knights all spotted at the 48 i'm looking to get at least three on the board to the right side four four four come on let's go [Music] three receivers right one left what you just encroaching a penalty against the blue knights it goes backwards five yards first and 15 now five wide for irvington [Music] swan takes a snap looking doesn't have a lot of time rolls left fires deep and it is out of bounds and it'll be second down and ten there is a flag on the field [Music] discussing the penalty [Music] penalty on irvington intentional grounding he kind of that's not really the greatest call there because he was pretty much on the sideline when he threw the ball out of bounds but the mustangs really aren't going to complain about that irvington just keeps going this backwards [Music] the game is being very delayed because one of the coaches for irvington is still on the field he doesn't seem very happy about the penalty [Music] letting irvington have it right now the crowd is [Music] it was like they were looking around for a football couldn't quite find one and the irvington coach was also just standing on the field trying to fight the ref over the penalty sorry for the very long delay swan hands it off there he goes past the 50 past the 45 brought down the 44 and irvington's trying to hurry up offense with 17 seconds left clock is winding down [Music] swan under center he snaps the ball he spikes it nine and a half seconds left to go and he'll be second and it'll be second down and ten after the spike [Applause] here we go three receivers left one the three receivers right one left jay henderson in the backfield [Applause] shotgun swan takes the snap handoff goes to henderson he gets past the 35 past the 30 out of bounds at the 27 three seconds left on the dot first and ten [Music] three seconds left remaining of play and irvington is looking to score that ball is at the 27 yard line mustangs hold them here they're only down by 11.
irvington gets it here they have a massive lead five wide for irvington three to four safeties back there for clifton looking to cover the end zone mainly let's see what irvington does here flags all over the field false start on the offense the blue lights move backwards and makes this touchdown even more difficult for them to score let's see what they do here first and 15. ball spot at the 32 yard line let's see what irvington does here they really do want to score still a five wide formation four safeties back for clifton [Music] swan takes the snap he has a lot of time he's going for the end zone and it is swatted away but caleb blown apart and that ends the first half of play and it is an 18-7 lead by irvington mustang seven points well this is the halftime and we'll be back all right ladies and gentlemen welcome back this is about the end of halftime and then the clifton mustangs are down 18 to 7 to irvington looks like they are struggling a little bit irvington did get two safeties and they were both because punts were pretty much in the back of the end zone first one was real high and julian solomon just kicked it into the back of the end zone and the other one was snapped way far left he fell on the ground and according to the rules here you do not have to be touched down for you to be considered tackled if you are down if one knee is down you are tackled and irvington was it was able to score touchdown clifton scored a nine yard rushing touchdown by kayla bonaparte senior and clifton is looking to bounce back here and hopefully gain the lead but irvington starts off with the football in the second half [Music] yummy [Music] is [Music] and the kick is up it's an onside kick and it is recovered by irvington i believe it is and irvington will begin their drive at the 47 yard line out comes the irvington offense who has dominated through the run game their run game so far has been unbelievable by all jay anderson henderson leading the charge here we go let's see two receivers right one left this one takes a snap hands it out to lj henderson who has gotten the workload and this time he is stopped at the line of scrimmage for no gain and it'll be second down in 10.
[Music] for those of you just tuning in welcome back i am your voice in the mustangs vincent chanchulo final game of the year for the clifton mustangs and thank you for all of you who have tuned in for the streams but this will be the last one for football because there will be other sports coming up which i'll bring up to you guys later on in the stream but for now welcome back clifton seven irvington 18. [Music] here we go two receivers lined up on each side swan takes the snap on an option it is fumbled by anja henderson he takes it past midfield brought down at the 51-yard line gained of about five on the play and it'll be third down and five for irvington [Music] mustangs looking to get a big three and out here two receivers lined up left one right shotgun formation swan takes a snap it's a it's a play action he's gonna take it himself and he gets past the 35 yard line brought down at the 34.
and that is a first down for the irvington blue knights very well thought out play [Music] it's a k swan on that run [Music] rakeem ross now on the backfield he's been splitting carries this game with lj henderson and he just gets the handoff for kim ross he's brought down at the 32-yard line gain of two there tackle me by omar riordan and i'll be second down at eight flag is on the field and i don't think there's a penalty i think the flag was just down on the field on accident and there is no penalty it was just an accident by the referee [Music] a man in motion shotgun formation swan takes the snap handoff goes to ross he powers forward brought down at the 27 yard line gaining about seven on the play it'll be third down at three there is a flag all the play though let's see the penalty [Applause] [Music] [Applause] it appears to be that there is no flag on the field another accident the flag thrown by the refs third and three for irvington two receivers lined up on each side one man in the backfield shotgun for swan mustang's crowd getting a little loud calling audible the swan he takes the snap he's gonna throw deep drop has time gunning deep and it is incomplete and there's a flag on the field mustangs don't seem happy about it i'm assuming it is a past interference on them very angry about it additional flags on the field prior to the original flag that was thrown for what i believe is past interference but we'll see seems to be a little bit of shoving going on between clifton and irvington multiple coaches from both teams on the field right now looks like about two for clifton in about eight or nine for irvington head coach ralph sink you out there for clifton [Music] [Applause] he's there with the referee he's trying to discuss and see what the penalties are there's about four or five flags down everywhere all across the field they are not 100 sure about what the penalties are but we'll wait and see [Music] let's keep on chatting [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] a lot still a lot of discussing on the field for the penalties there's just flags referees coaches all across the field sorry for the long delay ladies and gentlemen just flags like players confused coaches out on the field referees this is just as confusing for all of us up here and the camera crew and people behind the scenes as it is for you guys at home and for the people on the field it's very weird [Music] um [Music] [Applause] penalties on irvington and penalties on the mustangs they finally sorted it out [Music] and they are still pretty confused [Music] refs are still trying to sort everything out they are very confused just as confused as i am and everyone else here is you're doing a great job oh [Music] so it seems to be that there were three penalties in total unsupported like contact on both teams and a pass interference on the mustangs which means it's a first down for irvington so now they finally sorted it out irvington the ball is spotted at the 17 yard line and now they're finally going to play some football [Music] ball spot at the 17-yard line all the coaches and refs are off the field and now they're going to play some football three receivers out there two left one right swan takes the snap handoff goes and there's a flag on the field and let's see what it is they figured out that one a little quicker this time it's a full start against the blue knights they'll move five yards back and it'll be first down of 15 at the 22 yard line rakeem ross moved a little too quickly [Music] first to 15 for irvington the blue knights two receivers left two lined up on the river keem ross in the backfield swan calling an audible shotgun takes the snap he's throwing he's looking end zone and it is incomplete a flag on the field there is a flag on the field i believe in his past interference on the mustangs i don't know what kind of call that was he did turn around and swat the ball away let's see what the flag really is i believe it is past interference on clifton [Music] pass interference on the mustangs as he was looking for the end zone there omar muhenson was in coverage didn't look like he got his head all the way turned around but from where i can see it looked like he turned his head around he made a good defensive play there but the refs did throw a flag and now a timeout is taken by clifton eight minutes and 17 seconds remaining in the third quarter and we'll be back after the timeout you tell them [Music] it's been a very long third quarter and based off of the time where the penalty was taking forever to figure out on the field the quarter would have actually been over by now that was about 10 minutes long and there's eight minutes remaining in the quarter very very confusing very long third quarter and this is only the first drive so let's see what they can do here it's first and ten they're on the they're on the mustang's 12 yard line two receivers lined up on the left to right running back motions to swan's left takes the snap handoff goes no it's a fake swan takes himself he's brought down with the seven gain of five on the play and it'll be second down and five to go for irvington [Music] man in motion one receiver left two right takes the snap the handoff goes bounces to the outside takes it past the five reaches for the goal line and he's in touchdown blue knights al jay henderson aimed for the touchdown and they get a 24-7 lead and irvington extends their lead [Music] we're going for the extra point kicks a little high nearly blocked through the uprights and it is good and irvington has a 25 to 7 lead seven minutes to 35 seconds left to go in the third quarter and clifton is looking for a big comeback here [Music] [Applause] mustangs down by 18 points looking for a huge comeback here against irvington i've seen miracles before with this team we've seen many miracles happen not only here but in college and in the pros and this is no different let's see if the mustangs can do it here get a miracle at joseph greco field for the last game of the year two people back to return the kick would be donovan swayze and kayla bonaparte kick is up bonaparte going to return it past the 20 past the 25 past the 30 past the 35 brought down at the 38 very nice return by caleb bonaparte and that is where the mustangs will begin their drive and out comes the mighty mustangs offense kyle vellis had a pretty solid first half they did okay but overall it was just very inconsistent but the mustangs are looking to change that didn't run the ball a lot a lot of passing downs but let's see what the mustangs can put together here down by 18 points like i said before so so maybe you can expect to see a lot of throws mustangs in the huddle huddle breaks bonaparte in the backfield one receiver lined up on each side shotgun vellus takes the snap hands it off to bonaparte bounces to the outside brought out the 40 no gain on the run and it'll be second down and 10.
