first and twenty yeah 22. just about country mile 30 seconds now trips to the left side quarterbacks looking left columbia sends a man on the blitz gonna force the quarterback to have to run he's going to find a man guess who it is number five this time [Applause] good for another muscuda indians touchdown [Applause] man that one hurts that's good for a touchdown out of muscuta takes it 34-14 good snap good hold kick is up and is good goes the 35-14 in the first half with 19 seconds to go well so needed to get a stop there didn't get it so that now takes it to a three-score game marching eagles working their way over to the sideline for their halftime show i haven't been on this side of the ball i think in our three four years that we've been doing this together so columbia not something we're used to doing either so that adversity and like coach warner said last night and holt meets coach is going to talk tonight they're supposed to be two but missing schedule that we have this year that is much harder than we've had in previous years and the numbers are down with with the amount of kids that even came out because i mean we i don't even think we have a freshman team do we because i think we have nine freshman kids out so i think there's only what close to 35 kids on on this roster so um just shows like it's sad to see because i'm such a huge football fan but it's just even when you go up to like blue jay practices and stuff you just see like back in the day there was eight or nine teams now there's only what three or four teams and that's just different can be caught by mcconaughey at the 15.

make another play kyle like to see this shot going from right side to the left side of the field good for about 17 yards positive on that play good return nobody down with cramps and no penalty flags haven't been able to say those three things in a while nope let me just hit the ground right when you said it [Applause] so i believe colombia if i had to guess halftime [Applause] dom gets everybody set takes the snap takes a knee and that will do it we are heading into the century 21 halftime show we will head to a break right now and we will be back with the band's halftime show and a recap of the first half we will be back after this [Applause] oh football [Applause] oh [Music] [Applause] [Music] so [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] foreign [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] so [Music] [Applause] uh [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] so [Music] [Applause] cool [Applause] [Music] ah [Music] [Applause] so [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] so [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] so [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] oh [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] that's health food to the columbia multi-purpose field where we are now in the century 21 half time where your eagles are trailing 35-14 to the muscuda indians columbia comes in tonight with about 35 guys on their roster and i think they're feeling it right now with cramps left and right after that uh that first half yeah no kidding i mean we had carter hicks go down we had uh i mean all of them all all those couple linemen went down just a bunch of cramps that it looked like um anthony looked like his was just a little cramped lower leg area but it looks like he should be all right but hopefully they got some water and some pickle juice in them in that uh in that halftime and yeah they can come back out and not have any injuries two minutes to go here in the central tournament halftime show and right now like i said you're down three scores you're not out of it you can score get a turnover you score now suddenly down seven and some momentum's your way you're back into that ball game mosquito is going to get the ball coming out at halftime knowing you have got to get a stop here this is a huge drive yeah it's going to be the biggest biggest drive of the game coach germain's defense is going to have to come out and try not to be on their heels because um these last couple drives that mosquito has put together they look pretty good they're tossing the ball around a little bit number three is running really comfortably as a quarterback so um it's making things a lot harder for columbia's defense um like we said with the running quarterback it makes a lot of things harder but um with just things being said like columbia defense just needs to force things back inside and take away some of those big plays we've had a couple big plays that have been we where we settled down we force a five six yard play but we're letting mosquitoes athletes break away we're not wrapping up um letting them just get away from us and get in the end zone a lot of these touchdowns have been over 20 to 30 yards and that's something we need to take away and now something that was on the positive side started out with a bank well you're down seven nothing owen brewer with probably the 50 yard roughly scoop and score going into the house and uh so i mean you got that ability to make those big plays you just got to have somebody to make that play got to have that guy that wants to be the it factor i guess you'd say and that's something last year where it was just so easy we got bailed out so many times when you had a guy like london little um he if you were if you just needed the first down or if you just need a little push um if you need just any energy he'd bring a big hit or he'd bring a forced fumble or we need to see somebody step up right now and show um that those feet or those shoes can be filled and that someone needs to step up and make make some big plays here in the second half going on uh throughout the whole season i'm gonna go with kyle mcconaughey on that he's had those two or three runs yeah kick returns that have come back and uh that is something that you know kyle's got that ability he's just that natural athlete and uh so he's gonna be able to get that done so you're going to need him to step up make that play these seniors got to have to step up make the plays and those young guys make your name known now exactly got the chance to do it we're going to be kicking off here out of the century 21 half time because i know when you in well i know mostly when you were playing but there were rarely you would have sophomores stepping on the field in a varsity game you had it was all you all every year you've had over 15 to 16 seniors and with the amount of seniors i mean i know i know we still have 10 seniors which is which is great but um over the years you've seen so many so so much more players and now with these younger guys that have to step up in a varsity game i mean you have some 15 year olds playing against 18 year olds so i mean that can be a problem but um that's that's part of football and that's part of being a man and part of playing this game i mean you just got to grow up and you got to take the hits so dominic vaguely going to send that pooch kick once again going to be caught at the 28.

number 13 is going to try to make a move he's not going to number three zach wetzel gets down makes the tackle and right before that kickoff you looked at coach germain he was over giving the guys a little bit of a clap jermaine or coach horner same way he was coming down getting the finger rolling saying hey boys let's go you know don't put your dopper down it's game's not over you still got 23 minutes and 56 seconds yeah a lot of times make something happen so we'll see what the eagles got in store for them now we'll see what kind of adjustments were made at halftime and with the amount of opportunities that they've given us with all these penalties i mean we got to capitalize on at least one of these that they're going to give to us quarterbacks fumbles a snap gonna roll out to his right though tosses it over to number one he's gonna break a couple tackles gain about five or six yards but we we almost got one there uh quarterback kind of just dropped the drop the snap he's lucky enough to pick it up and roll out to his right good for five yard gain there muscular coming out gunning right away columbia's like i said you you can't can't match the intensity you got to set it so defense is a good way of being able to do that trips to the left side running back left clemmy's got three down linemen penalty flags gonna be thrown on the top formation number three is gonna break one tackle gain another flag another ten but a second flag is going to be thrown it's gonna be on the zone of where holding wood would be and i would say an illegal formation if i had to guess out of that top that top flag so now which one do you get the holding of the but they just called both of them on and he said offset offsetting yeah the white hat motioned both penalties against mascuta and then he offset him with the hand signal so i don't think that's how it works so we'll see what colombia is going to get it's gonna be a five-yard penalty bring up a second down in ten [Applause] these are those things those penalties that uh so they declined the holding took the false start so second down in 10.

four guys up at the line of scrimmage now look like we're going to send somebody on the blitz carter hicks is the stand up and there's another penalty false start on the scooter [Music] so it's gonna be another five yard penalty keep moving them back columbia makes something happen what do you think they're gonna do at practice run my lord so second down and 14. [Applause] carter hicks the defensive end and owen brewer the other defensive end neither one of them have their hand in the turf they're standing up high snap this time going to be a quick deep route to the right side and it's going to be a great adjustment by number one he's going to make the catch over meganson he's going to get the sideline he's going to hit don vagley and he's going to get into the end zone for a muscuda touchdown good for 68 yards number one's having himself a heck of a day today yeah athletes make plays man meganson was there just number one made the better play the better adjustment got it at the high point high point of the football absolutely jared and that's something that db's that you've got to be the first one to the ball because you you're literally you gotta you gotta hawk that thing you as db you you just that ball is your best friend point after is up looks like a screwball loaded falls in it is good brings the score to 42-14 with 10 47 left here in this third quarter something for coach horner right now uh you don't want your guys to hang their heads i mean this can be such a learning experience because i mean a lot of these kids they're not really used to losing um even back in blue jay days our blue jay franchise is has been rolling for a long time and um i mean sometimes a loss will humble you and it'll make you take a step back and realize like oh maybe maybe i gotta work a little harder maybe i gotta maybe i gotta do this maybe i gotta talk to my guys a little more but i just think this this can be a big learning experience for a lot of these columbia kids and just all these players out here so that drive takes all of a minute 13 seconds and it was capped off by 68 yard touchdown pass to number one he's got to be getting close to about 200 yards of offense right now he's got 12 plus touches too i bet having himself a fantasy day [Applause] so mosquitoes number 25 will send it deep kicking towards the wilderness from right to left he sends it deep and it will be recovered by mcconaughey from the 15.

he's going to go up the middle he's going to make one man miss good block by a butim in there and he's going to get to the left side another big block there now he's going to go up to the right side [Applause] in the back another great return by kyle mcconaughey can't say enough of that tonight oh it's going to come all the way back that's the third one that he's done like that penalty flag thrown back at the columbia 39-yard line i just want to know the number of flags that have been thrown tonight it's got to be close to 30 alex it's got to be that might be something that we can talk to howie on see what he says man so columbia instead of starting at the 40 of the scooter the 30th mosquito even those start at the 30 of their own [Applause] [Music] columbia going to be huddled up here like we said earlier that's a sign of heavy and that's what they're going to be in right now dom vagley's going to go under center four down lineman for moscow three linebackers turn around hand the ball off to jarvis who's going to get to the line of scrimmage and no more after that [Applause] carnegie colombia trying to slow it down a little bit here in the third quarter columbia trails 42-14 after owen brewer started the columbia scoring with a big scoop and score and had one other touchdown after that been pretty quiet for the eagles offense turn around they're going to fake the handoff this time it's going to be a pass to carter hicks who's going to catch it with one hand but be popped by number five who breaks it up use both hands and it falls incomplete [Applause] got a little bit of crowd here and nobody's really leaving it third down in 10.

i'm interested now we look over down at about the 25-yard line yeah gentlemen isn't a trainer like uh because i heard these coaches over here saying these guys used to do jv games so this could possibly be their first varsity game i believe you could be right there and he's in this guy is probably the running the show so it's a five yard penalty brings up a fourth and five [Music] columbia keeps the punt team out on the field fourth down in five now dom's gonna get the punt off again and it's another boomer it's got front spin on it it's going to hit the 27. there we go it's going to go to the 24 where moscuta will now take over hang on there's a flag back here at the columbia holding against moscow so now do you get it first no that wouldn't be now you're going to move it back from where they feel like i'm playing a video game right now dude what is going on so i think that is assessed at the end of the play [Music] they really don't want us to leave tonight so mosquito is going to be a 10-yard penalty from the end of the play so from the 24 now they're going to be at the 14 9 minutes and 14 seconds remaining on the quarry pharmacy scoreboard here at the columbia multi-purpose field just gotta dive out jared's back here worried about a moth flying into his and his head you got a mop of hair on top of your head i think it's a nest my balding head i don't have to worry about that doubles the left side sniffer back left running back left they're going to hand it off to him he's going to go up the middle and it's going to get a good push out of the mosquito offensive line he was met at the line of scrimmage and ended up getting about three out of it but brought down by a host of eagles owen brewer and jason kaczynski in on the tackle second down and seven still nine minutes to go in this third quarter had a lot of stoppages to play so far in this for the second half to see more of uh more of a flow here doubles formation hand the ball off to the running back he's met at the line of scrimmage great job [Applause] great job by the columbia defense there is jason kaczynski's helmet gets ripped off but that goes unnoticed mason schnabel in on the tackle and a downed muscuda indian on the play we will send it to a break real quick and whenever the mosquito indian gets off the field we will come back for the third quarter action between the eagles and the indians welcome back ladies and gentlemen for the third quarter in this week one match-up with it's all indians tonight 42-14 over your eagles columbia comes in enrollment of 628 muscuda 1100 doubles formation for the indians running back to the right columbia's got four guys down they send two linebackers on the blitz who run right past the quarterback who gets 12 yards 15 yards keeps his feet moving good for close to 20.

columbia dialed up the blitz there on third and 10 but like i said they just went right around the quarterback and lost containment that's what we've that's what we've said all night what we've been saying the last couple of years with a mobile quarterback like that anyone that's gonna if you don't see anybody open next thing just put your head down and start running and when you've got an athlete like that that can that's that's quick and he'll even lower his shoulder and hit you too so it's nice to have a quarterback and a double threat like that trips to the left side running back left quarterback takes the high snap fakes the handoff he's going to keep it himself he's going to could nearly get brought down in the backfield i think that was brewer or mistler one of those two in the backfield penalty flag on the play i don't know what the hell the ineligible man downfield and we now understand that the tap of the head an eligible man downfield learn something new i guess your linemen can't that's weird though because they're the one they got to go down and make a tackle because they're you're punting the ball away you got to go now make a tackle you can't just stand there that's weird [Music] number 11.

great job drew meganson read the route well and the ball was completed he made the tackle good job by drew there on that play and there you had vagley covering behind where meganson would be so meganson knows that he's got everything in front of him in the flat or if anything's coming from the other side kind of towards the middle so meganson did a great job there of kind of backing backing up playing the deep third a little bit but coming up and peter patter in his feet and making a good play doubles the right side doubles to the left side running back left three down linemen for the eagles they send a linebacker on a blitz and number 52 there for the eagles jason kaczynski coach g is not afraid to send the guys to the quarterback here he's blitzing on a lot of plays she's even madden due to run the full field goal block on like a fourth and two or something just bring the hose same formation for offense in the defense kaczynski on the blitz again quarterback gets a pass off to number five caught at the 35 in great pursuit good tackle there bringing them down mistler don bailey there with the tackle and mistler they're coming running away and making the tackle at the end cleaning it up it's a true quarterback there by dom just holding on to the guy and let the other guys come make the tackle learn to perfect that move as a quarterback just hang on hope for the best wait for somebody else to hit him 6 35 remaining in the third quarter third and eight for the indians come on this guy trips to the right side high snap's going to be brought down quarterback's going to tuck it he's going to get enough for the first down and he's going to get more as he runs over don vagley who just latches on and is brought down by number three good job there by zach wetzel like you said jared we had a guy in the backfield but left his feet good pump fake there by the quarterback but something i mean he was that uh weak that i think that came in and jumped tried to block the pass but as a as a guy coming in that fast lay the boom put your head down put your shoulder down lay into that quarterback get a sack that would have forced a fourth down right there and maybe a punt but he jumped up faked him out went right up the middle for a first down doubles to the right side running back's going to take the handoff up the middle there's going to be a holding penalty going to be tackled there by jay mistler i seriously don't think i've ever watched a game like this alex this kind of reminds me it wasn't this bad but that game against roxanna a couple years ago in the first round of the playoffs 2019.

that was it wasn't this bad but that was one we made multiple comments of how we couldn't get in a groove trying to call everything and that was oh that's it should begin and this is i mean it's hard to just stay on task because it's just the game stops and then it's we're trying our best up here though so it's going to be a loss of 10 from the spot brings up a first down and 23. doubles quarterback's going to do a quick now route to the outside caught by number 11. now we're going to have to make a pursuit tackling we do number 11 drew meganson and [Music] the columbia eagle looks like sam denny on the tackle and he's down with cramps [Applause] we're now on nine or 10 15 so two hours here [Applause] for the game trying to see if the officials are paid by the hour by the game here let's definitely buy the game [Applause] i mean by the hour i mean we know why right now [Applause] 5 35 remaining here in the third quarter sam denney is the slow eagle off the field as trainer ethan is over there helping them on the opposite side of the field good shot of the new turf here two years ago i guess earlier or spring season was the first season on it so got that new eagle logo they like re color the numbers and stuff too because i don't know but it looks like brighter almost like it looks whiter the numbers well it was all brand new turf and everything so i haven't had any seasons on it yet yeah mosquito like we said temple earlier they've got the the play call in they're ready to go and we don't even have a guy off the field yet now we're ready to rock second down in 13 from the eagles 47-yard line for moscow doubles left side sniffer back left running back left gonna go up the middle good for nine ten yards gives up a manageable third and two these running backs whenever they get hit they're moving downhill in a hurry they're falling forward every time yeah they're not wasting no time to go side to side or run to the sidelines they're putting their heads straight down [Applause] hand the ball off up the middle it's going to be good for three yards and good for another indians first down [Applause] hayden habermill in on the tackle this time for the eagles good to see saigon back in there [Applause] clock keeps moving we're now under five minutes in the third quarter doubles left side sniffer back left running back right ball in the right hash fake the handoff gonna be a quarterback keeper right up the middle he's had an open lane all night long and it's gonna be good for another eight yards yeah that offensive line is doing a great job of just giving these running backs and number three that quarterback and just just enough room i we saw a quarter or the quarterback run down here um for a touchdown a little bit ago where he just slithered right into the hole and was good enough to get into the end zone so the line is doing a good enough job to just give the athletes spates space to work and that's all you can really ask for as an offensive coordinator same formation four down lineman for the eagles gonna be a pass to the right side and it's gonna go through the hands of number five one of the few mistakes we've seen out of the mill stop the scooter india i don't know where that came from so it brings up a third down and three let us know where you're listening from tonight see if we can knock out all 50 states we got to be got to be getting close at least same formation's going to be a pass to the left side find a little slot area there oh fumble picked up there by the eagles as carter riker [Applause] [Music] and it's going to be recovered by the eagles [Applause] that ball popped out the official just took it off the dome i think and both football's flying at him at the same time hey that's what you get for calling so many penalties man so the eagle offense good job by the defense getting the football back [Applause] one thing you want to hopefully these refs they just keep keep the game safe you don't want to you don't want it to get out of hand double formation here to the top of the field gonna be a snap handoff to bildeman who goes up the middle running a little bit up and down [Applause] good for five yards got a text they're listening to us live from aces wild one of our sponsors our pregame sponsor and the host of the holden meets coaches corner every thursday night so thanks for listening up at aces wild video game in parliament second down and six [Music] be a quick now route to mcconaughey who's gonna lose his footing he's gonna try to make one man miss but got his body moving a little bit quicker than the feet we're running through there that's something i always had a problem with too i tried to get somewhere i was going but like in my head i was already there but i had to get there first so i would always just fall right on the ground i didn't have to worry about my feet moving too fast that's a problem with having like quick feet because you know you can get there but it's just like you can't yeah exactly and the amount of time like it takes to get there and stuff it's just trips right 250 remaining in the third quarter dom's gonna have to scramble he gets rid of it and it's a great job [Applause] penalty flag on the play personal foul intentional grounding [Applause] but i don't understand oh personal left in the passer i put two penalties together there personal foul roughing the passer intentional grounding well who knows after all these flags we're probably gonna every flag's probably been thrown already so i didn't really see a personal thought roughing the passer there i guess we'll take it [Music] [Applause] we've had off sides holding face mask roughing the passer 15-yard penalty brings up a first down for the eagles and they are now in muscuda indian territory at the muscuda 48 [Applause] going to be a straight pass there for vagley and it's going to go through the hands of jay mistler incomplete second down and 10.

what did i say 21. long night now we were out of it for a while there so still brings up a second in 15. this this has been a it's been out of flow this game has been out of flow for all game games so it's hard to stay on task you expect that out of week one like we said try to keep it clean and we've been all but clean doubles pistol back is mechanical he's gonna take the hand off up the middle he's gonna make his own hole he's going to make two men miss he's going to bend to the left side he's going to get oh just about to the first down mark to switch that ball to the outside hand use that stiff arm it's going to bring up a third and once get the stiff arm and keep it away from the defender exactly don't get that fumble under a minute to go in the third quarter now on the corey pharmacy scoreboard alfie londrov has first down on the marker not third there you go now you got it it says no it is third third down in one come on guys you need one [Music] doubles formation gonna take the snap gonna take the hand off is mcconaughey he's going to follow one blocker and grant matheny and that's going to be good for columbia eagles first down columbia getting something rolling right now like to see this out of the eagles offense getting something moving right now get a positive out of the night offensively haven't been able to do much i think it was three and out on the first two drives so string some plays together here get in the endzone and finish the finish the night off strong about one second differential in the game clock in the play clock get that offensive little taste of what uh more of the end zone feels like trips to the left side into the boundary rollout to the right side is vaguely he's got a man over here in meginson with a great catch at about the 16 yard line and that'll be good for about eight yards let's call it and that'll do it for the end of the third quarter the mandy mcguire group scoreboard reads muscuda 42 columbia 14.

we will be back for the fourth quarter of this week one matchup welcome back for the fourth quarter of the indians and the eagles second down and two i'm going to do a little bit of a new look here for the eagles going to fake the handoff to mcconaughey vaguely is going to keep it he's going to bend it to the outside going to make a couple man miss but good pursuit by mosquito and getting uh getting vaguely down but it's gonna be good for a first down i believe good run there by dom getting to the sticks and getting just enough yeah i haven't really seen that much tonight that we saw a ton of last year with dom he running the ball and putting his head down and trying to get a couple yards on his own so great job there by vaguely to show off his feet [Applause] clock is not the eagle's friend right now as it keeps ticking come he trails it 42-14 doubles formation for the eagles three down linemen from the scooter with three linebackers columbia moves the running back to the left side in mcconaughey vaguely looks to the end zone he's got a corner route that he wanted to get and meganson just didn't break out of his route quick enough and it falls incomplete just didn't get out of his break there looked like 11 20 left here in this fourth quarter turned into a nice night here yeah same it's a little sticky but doubles formation pistol back is mcconaughey sending the linebacker up the middle they're going to pull it out of mcconaughey's hands he's gonna get a couple of yards i don't know i don't know how many scooter linemen didn't take that one the other way because that was literally in his stomach for a good two seconds and then vaguely decided to pull it wow that was one of the later pulls you could have i don't know how mechanically didn't just clamp down on it well the ball didn't just fly out of vaguely's hands so that brings up a third down and seven thank you all for listening once again to kchs the new and improved kchs from back in the day third and seven ball in the left hash doubles formation running back to the left three down linemen for mosquito three linebackers sending a middle linebacker on a blitz picked up nicely vaguely gonna have to get scrambled out of the pocket he's gonna get a guy into the end zone and it's gonna be knocked down there's a crack back block on sagan i saw it yep because saigon thought vaguely was going to keep the ball and run it so he came back and blocked but turned into a throw so i guess that would be like an offensive pass interference but probably going to call it crack back block because it was before he even threw the ball gonna be a learning curve in that uh film room monday on the crack back blocks both teams too yeah yeah yeah not just columbia we're gonna have to learn how to wait till [Applause] couple calls of a [Music] ball at the 29 yard line now for the eagles [Applause] third down in country mile 22 empty backfield doubles the right side more or less trips to the left dom's scrambling right away because of the blitz and he's going to complete it to meginson he's going to lose two yards when you don't have time to make any plays you just don't have time and that's what happened on that play there [Applause] looks like we're going to bring in some guys to punt it away inside the 30 bucks still taking nine minutes 54 seconds because to get a first down you got to get to the four yard line and you need 26 yards for a first when things have been going tonight just try to pin this inside the 10 or five and let's see what you can do vaguely he's had a good leg on him tonight five seconds to go in the play clock it's nice and easy to snap off it's going to be a good punch back roll good effort there by sam denny hit it about the 10 yard line or so and just took that one quick burst to the end zone and that's a game we used to play all the time four games try to kick it and try to pin it on like the one yard line so you can get the closest it's hard to do man we would like to thank all of our sponsors for everything that they've done when we ask you as fans with all the uncertainty with covid and shutting down and everything we ask all of our fans to go support the local businesses they're helping us and we ask you to go help them we've got plenty of options here and we scroll through them all the time so be on the lookout and keep the local people in mind whenever you're going out and doing stuff hand the ball off up the middle or the indians they're going to get zero push out of anybody get about a two yard gain number 73 for the eagles tom kenningstein loses his helmet i think that's like the second or third time he's lost his helmet tonight so he comes off anthony antonis the freshman comes on [Applause] second down in eight just under nine minutes remaining in the fourth quarter i didn't even know the band packed up and was out of here quick yeah they usually about the third quarter middle of the third quarter they they head out second down and eight doubles to the right side sniffer back right running back right take the snap hand the ball off up the middle he's going to have himself a little bit of a room to run keeps his feet moving and is going to be brought down by number 14 colin saigon who instantly grabs his leg and i would assume cramps because he's had that couple times tonight we'd like to remind everybody of the holton meets coach's corner it is uh recorded every week at aces wild on thursday night at 6 30 p.m if you'd like to come up watch it live we had a couple people up this week watching it so hopefully we can get some some good numbers up there i think that's something that's pretty neat that we're doing this year for the first time and get to hear coach horner's perspective on everything and we're gonna try to get you know coach jermaine in there maybe get some stump kendall coach hamson always says he's not gonna do any sort of interview he says the camera's not for him hey maybe he maybe we can get like him and somebody get somebody two coaches on there with with miss ramsey if he doesn't want to do it by himself try to talk him into it coach baker same way he's he's usually pretty quiet whenever we say hey we're gonna come to an interview maybe we can get coach baker and coach anderson one week then two together that'd be a pretty good one i tried getting on an interview every once in a while matt and last time i tried getting him on and he took off on me i told him i was going to get him pregame and he said i'm busy i gotta go and he took off so first down in 10 for the indians ball at their own 36 yard line 8 minutes 25 seconds remaining doubles to the right side sniffer back right running back running back's going to take the hand off go up the middle keeps his feet moving falling forward and he's going to get six or seven yards and bring up a second down and three another thank you goes to cory pharmacy for donating the meal tonight for the players he picked up joe bacardi's for the players yummy for their pregame meal and aces wild donated joe bacardi's and tiny's appetizers to the coach or the parents tailgate over in the perch perch or the nest i don't remember what they call it over there oh i have no idea and their tailgate section they had a pretty good showing over there too they had all the flags flying they had a camper rv over there trying to bring that tradition back doubles to the left side running back left takes the handoff up the middle once again going to be brought down by number four himself sam denney he might be the defensive player of the game tonight but he brings them down after i don't know that oh and that one touchdown that was pretty tough to beat there too sam denny the 511 160 southland yeah he's sticking his his little brother will danny he used to stick his nose in there too he wasn't afraid to hit so it's good to see uh pass down generation to generation kids that are not scared to stick their nose in there and kids that are able to make some hits doubles to the right side single receiver to the left sniffer back to the left quarterback takes the handoff to the running back who's going to go to the left side this time the eagles sniff it out [Applause] and it's going to be a gain of four [Applause] and dom vagley just got credit for the tackle i don't know if he's on the field is he you know dom sitting over here on the sideline probably his first rest he's had all night second down in six 6 15 remaining in the ball game no scooter leads demanding mcguire scoreboard 42-14 wendy is starting to filter in some subs as is mosquito hand the ball off up the middle once again gonna bust it to the right side columbia loses contain but good pursuit there by number five maddox stephen and number 15 hayden haberman good for another skuda indian first down at the 40 number 52.

substitution number two jake poplik jake hoffman coming in for chris quinseberry jake another experienced player on the columbus east team i think they're mostly juniors and seniors very experienced side who's had a lot of success the last two years it looks like jake has gone in for uh kevin sanchez in whitley on the win foul call over the back branson young over the ball for east moves off the ball four looks like cam true blood to play it in cam true blood broke his arm in the spring season for club glad that he's back on the field i've been able to participate at this high level ball into the box for jake off a good one touch cleaned out by will holliday won back out by cam and cleaned up by eduardo cordova back and forth right now ball back to joe hefner high pressure by columbus north foul foul called right there uh columbus is free kick i'm in front of the columbus north bench looks like branson young or cam drew but we playing it in today looks like branson young will play the ball in another box on this dangerous set piece oh it looks like joe hefner's overlapping all the oh nope not playing out to joe east organized with five players in the box good service in under pressure one out by will holliday good touch by ben silva and cam back out wide for nathan wolfe defended by trent liggett good ball back to chris is a dangerous defender by aidan whitley ooh miss touch misplay by chris cleared out ball still in ball's still in play ball's still in play yes nathan white runs down onto it runs out he takes players on well defended by weston romine should be a goal kick we'll see if the referees catch it no the referees call the corner good play by weston road might get a touch on looks like flynn keel left footer will be serving an end swinger on this corner kick north right now with only three players in the attacking box on a corner kick um i would submit you'd want more than three players in the box on a corner kick 23 minutes left to go in the first half now they get the fourth still looking for another player in the box good ball by flint kiel served in well won out by silva trent liggett running in oh dathan wolfe more aggressive on that ball jesse williams picks up the loose ball takes him to the corner service in masaki versus corbin out by westin out of bounds for a goal kick for columbus east well defended by columbus east pete corden looking to take the kick along again columbus north backed up well behind the center line expecting a big kick note trent liggett and flink heel have just switched sides trent defending now the left side and flynn on the right side what's happened is that chris quisenberry has moved over to the right-hand side uh in the attack for east and now looks like the columbus north coaches want trent liggett matched up with uh with chris quiserberry um on that matchup on that wide matchup another foul called columbus north kick near midfield it does look like columbus might have changed their shape a bit looks like dathan is playing as a lone up front player with chris out wide right and jake out wide left looks like they're playing now 4-3-3 a bit anthony johnson on the ball for columbus north ball played in corbin hatcher with the win the header flynn and jake battling jake with the ball with the header jesse on the ball ball saved by jake jesse williams out with it well defended by weston well played by branson to play the ball play the ball off uh flink heel there wasaki on the ball to nathan to ayden oh well defended by corbin with the touch out to jake hofflick playing the whitley who plays out wide to jesse service in big ball pete court will eat that up all day ooh foul yup foul on white marco being aggressive getting out of the goalie foul on white columbus east kick coming out a little over 20 minutes left in the first half [Applause] if you're here at the uh at the stadium you've got the east uh fans section dressed in all pink and you've got the north fans section dressed in hawaiian gear showing their school spirit on both sides of the stands here big kick by corydon branson by himself slip header anthony johnson wins it for north to joe decker nice pass up to jay conflict tries to play the ball through and masaki's in the way flynn with the big clearance out well won by silva free ball jesse and weston battling jesse comes out with it for north good little spin move he's gonna play it in corbin well read by corbin play back to gordon and back out nice work by corbin hatcher whitley with the big header out of bounds um he's throwing subs for columbus east justin silva going in for outside back moving joe hefner to the left and um silva justin playing on the right and henry bush in uh playing in a midfield looks like they're going back to a 4-4-2 with nathan wolf and chris quisenberry up top um yeah henry bush in for joe deckard marco on the ball plays it deep to corbin sorry to nathan white battle with corbin shot well wide for white goal kick for columbus east it still looks like chris quisenberry shading to the right-hand side right now well won by jesse williams off the chest battling with jay caulflick jesse out wide well defended by joe hefner and corbin hatcher plays out to whitley willie dribbling oh referee plays well waves play on oh he does call foul here whitley fell to the top of the box as a parent we'll talk at home i'm pretty sure he embellished that one [Applause] three north players over the ball whitley nathan white and misaki willie nathan white have absolute cannons for for right-footed shots uh masaki takamoto has a brilliant left-footed swerved uh in swinger free kick if misaki's taken it'll likely go over the wall dipping um if nathan hits it'll be an absolute pounder of a ball if willie hits it not sure he can swerve and hit it we'll see what uh with the three of them decide of who's taking it whitley lined up struck it hard right over the wall always soaring high goal kick for columbus east christian cardoso for columbus north and for jesse williams 17 minutes left in the first half bulldog substitution number 11 really went up over henry bush when the ball dathan comes out with a nice play by nathan misaki oh sorry marco on the ball now nathan white on the ball for white pops out to date and wolfe on the ball plays it out wide to chris quisenberry pressure by marco figueroa out of bounds columbus north throwing it does look like columbus is now still playing the 4-3-3 or 4-5-1 depending on how high their outside wingers go chris quisenberry on the right jake hoffleck on the left with nathan up top which is a change in shape from where they have typically been the last several years i was a throw-in down the line to no one on white ball played out of bounds by justin silva throw in backwards going to will holiday in the back hills will get to fling keel out white out right takes the touch balls move forward ball inside anthony johnson he'll swing it out wide to trent trent takes the touch forward back to anthony in the middle drives it on the dribble finds aiden on the ground checking in ain't willie uh deflected pass picks it back up beats henry bush on the dribble plays the ball on nathan white back to him oh no one making the run in uh well well defended by east picked up by pete corden [Music] aidan looking for marco to make that diagonal run in behind uh wasn't on anthony and dathan over everybody that's just just a dangerous weapon for columbus seat that their goalie can kick the ball that far down the field foul called on columbus east hands in the back henry pushing anthony free kick for north eddie cordova on the ball he's looking to play short but no one's showing so he just has to just kick it right to east um possession might have been a better option there good play by misaki taking the ball off marco to nathan white nathan right back out to marco chris quisenberry defending and he is just too fast out of bounds white throwing chris quinn braves been uh was a player of the year for columbus uh the republic player of the year last year uh the top player in columbus um right now throwing taken quickly aidan whitney on the ball cuts in swings it out wide to fling keel flynn plays it back to anthony who finds trent trent like it out wide left serves the ball in floats it in high first half anthony johnson on the win on the big punt lands on jake halfix feet taking on flynn keel well defended looks like it's a throw in for east throwing for orange dathan wolfe with a big throw in looks like we have uh sanchez coming back in for columbus east and he'll be replacing dating wolf jake now coming over to take the throw in for columbus east thrown back to branson defended by marco figueroa chess it out of bounds christian cardoso alert run throwing fling kill for columbus north nathan emily coming in for columbus north go ooh bridge was open on that one but misaki came uh marco came back to win it branson inside to kevin sanchez back to branson good run of play here for east unfortunate ball trying to find chris quisenberry played at the trent though branson on it chris quinsbury with eduardo defending henry bush and anthony collide henry bush comes out with it well defended by christian not sure what the call is there which way again i'm not sure i didn't see the foul uh the referee calls foul for columbus east ball near midfield a little more than 11 minutes to go in the half looks like cam true blood is gonna be taking this one we tried to move it up about six seven yards referee called him back to uh where he thought the spot is cam true blood big ball in the box floated in whitley shoulder out to sanchez missed it on his foot marco on top of it for columbus north takes a big touch finds nathan oh nathan emily slips down cobra natural on the ball for east easy possession there to cam trooper not wide pressured by oh good good pressure by columbus north dugout well won backed by cam true bud though throwing for columbus north trent ligon on the throw plays it back to eddie cordova behind him back to train out wide left back to eduardo cordova oh dangerous ball switching the big field like that to flynn high pressure by jake coughlin good pressure by jake east eastward in the ball back joe hefner on the ball well put into branson who aiden willie picks it off well played back to anthony johnson takes the touch finds masaaki in the middle branson's just so big and strong in the middle tough to get the ball around him when he's around it just such such a strong defender that's another field for columbus seas for the last several years miss touched by jake flynn takes a touch christian cardoso's on it what can he find isolated on joe hefner nathan runs into a space oh big collision between corbin and nathan out for a goal kick returning to the game for the olympians number 19 what's in a row mine in for joe hefner back at the outside left back chris quisenberry um now switched to play up top um and a four three three four five one uh scenario or maybe out wide left again flynn and trent have switched sides to make sure trent is matched up on uh chris quisenberry back to anthony back to will he'll play out wide to eduardo who will likely play out wide to flynn there it is anthony johnson coming in the center of the field there he is finds the ball opens his hips takes a look doesn't like it back to center back eduardo kotarova taking his time cordova out wide to fling keel takes the touch forward marco comes back nathan emily making the run inside or down the line takes a touch nathan defended by cam truebloodwell served in christian cardoso well defended by corbin hatcher ben silva on the ball nathan emily coming to pressure ball to henry bush back to branson nice switch of field for columbus good run of play here open the north up jake hufflepuff on the ball too many touches well defended by anthony whitley back to aiden whitley balling behind justin silva off the header back to nathan emway ball into misaki who's on his left foot can he find it right there he's gonna hit it no i miss hit wide wide uh left by by several yards goal kick for columbus east joe decker's now coming in for henry bush it looks like east is now playing with chris quinbury's alone front runner and trying to overload the midfield they're wide players are definitely tucked in almost like a four five one with five in the center mid for columbus east asaki takamoto on the on the win the goal kick a little touch well defended by joe deckard masaki comes out with a throat to marco figueroa back to flynn keel to marco back to masaaki he'll find ooh good defense by kevin sanchez back to will out to flynn well defended by joe making him predictable back to eddie back to will holiday north can tend to keep possession for a bit for moments inside namasaki touch he'll go out wide to flynn keel who's now have a little bit of a break can he find a ball serves the ball inside can you find christian not corbin's just too organized defensively on aidan whitley's foot out to nathan emily who tried to slip him behind justin still with night defensive play plays it back out eddie cordova one times at the fling kill out left inside touch a little miscommunication between flynn and masaki this is where they're dangerous having chris quisenberry on the counter attack he's so fast will just plays it simple out well done to flink kill good pressure by chris quisenberry though east is very dangerous on those counters with the speed of chris quisenberry referee kind of get in the way of anthony johnson there what he might want to do simple pass out to trent liggett back to will holiday uh ball played in well defended by weston romine ball bouncing a bit right now nathan inland west challenging good play ooh lioness has a ball out of bounds thrown to columbus east [Applause] six minutes left to go in the first half several substitutions jesse williams and nathan white back in the match number nine nathan white number 10 jesse williams first action in a northeast match um exciting for him to as a freshman to get this action uh with five and a half minutes left to go in the first half boss neely subheaded to kevin masaki on top of it hits the ball deep to christian nathan well defended by e strong strong tackle by justin silva well cleaned up by cam slipper to anthony well done a good play by anthony well defended by joe deckard fallout wide to flynn finn playing it back to eddie one time's at anthony masaki on the ball uh no runners no runners this time easy ball to pete corden east is definitely making it compact and very difficult to play through allowing north to have possession in the middle third and the defensive middle third but finding very little space in the in the attacking middle third he's doing a nice job clogging that space defensively aiden and branson tough ball there out to nathan white who plays it back to eduardo cordova again east just sitting deep chris applying light pressure right now he's content to allow north half possession in their defensive half of the field sling kill plays it up nathan white checking in plays it back to misaki masaki takes the touch into nathan white again nathan white out wide to trent liggett he's going to take a touch forward we'll see if he goes forward with it plays the ball to anthony johnson back to trent looking to go forward beats oh good defense by boston ely young freshman anthony johnson again being patient being patient coming back to will holiday east just no space at all for north to penetrate right now east is just really clogging all the spaces really having a good job managing their lanes right now all the passing lanes uh and there it is right to vince silva well defended nathan white picks up the missed touch out wide to christian cardoso defended by justin silva back to flynn keel defended by chris quisenberry out for a white throw in three and a half minutes left to go in the first half short throw into christian back to flynn on his weaker foot flynn definitely left footer well defended by i'm not sure what happened there apparently the referee called a foul i didn't see it um it looks like it's a white free kick uh these are pretty dangerous willie looks like he's going to be serving the ball in see if white can uh get an opportunity here sub-pieces are always dangerous in the game of soccer transitions and set pieces and defensive misplays are always three dangerous opportunities whitley plays it in floated in white on it are well defended well defended out by boston ely not sure what the referee saw there free kick coming out for columbus east referee is calling a very very very tight match today both ways cam true blood on the ball for columbus east nope looks like uh pete corden is going to be taking the ball right now referee has his hand up looks like they progress the ball up about 20 yards from where the set piece was or whether where the infraction occurred boss nearly with a chest down anthony johnson picks it up for columbus north to misaki who plays it forward to nathan white who plays it out wide chris quisenberry is going to eat gobble that up yup out of bounds for columbus or throw in throw in flying keel two minutes remaining in the first half two minutes remaining thrown to chris demarco our christian sorry back to will holiday again north content to keep possession in the back third and east content to allow them to do that pressure by joe deckard on flank heel ball out wide to christian cardoso back to misaki takamoto he's gonna play one in ayden whitley on the run there ball inside the box back on his right foot [Music] columbus north goal goal aiden whitley assist misaki takamoto looks at that cut back inside from a tight angle looks like it went high near post right by goalkeeper pete gordon [Applause] a minute 25 left on the clock in the first half well struck by aidan whitley on the near post driven with it with the laces to be a really solid goalkeeper in pete gordon on the near post for sure off branson young bring it forward nicked by nathan white on masaki's foot masaaki content just to play the ball of the corner um inside the 18 though beat coronado with his hands north we have two center backs right around the d on this punt really giving a lot of respect to the big the big punt from the goalkeeper pete corden ball lands cleanly inside the center circle won by dathan wolfe to joe deckard defended by flynn keel floated for a dangerous ball ooh chris quinterbrite almost got his toe on top of it that was a very dangerous chance uh well that's a great foot of ball in from joe decker he's always had a great strike on the ball with his right foot in swinger out swinger instead of driving floater he is very has a very good strike on the ball well won by to aid whitley out to jesse jesse brings it inside on the dribble somehow gets through several defenders very crowded space right there with 20 seconds left to go joe deckard on the ball plays it deep won by anthony misaki with a touch out out to aiden whitley 15 seconds to go out to flink keel ball played in the middle well oh miss touch to nathan white plays it to aiden that's half time here at the match halftime score one to zero for columbus north high school exciting back and forth match uh by by both teams so far i'm gonna sign off right now we'll come back right before half time all right right before the second starts at the new bcsc soccer stadium second half ready to get started in about 30 seconds if you're just joining us a late goal by columbus norris aiden whitley um which has come straight up one to zero right now halftime stats on the scoreboard shows columbus northwest sheet with three shots and comes through the two shots back and forth match uh columbus north holding a lot of the ball in possession um in the defensive end um but really not finding a lot of space i mean the attacking and he's doing a really nice job compressing the space um i find it very difficult for columbus north to play to get the ball in and around the box i say at the very beginning i've been around columbus soccer for a long time i think there's about two kids on the field that i've not coached i've been coaching in columbus express for the past 10 years um and all these kids most of these kids i coach when they were eight nine and ten years old so i'm just excited to be here uh representing columbus soccer at this uh uh fantastic environment fantastic uh yearly match kickoff for columbus is back to cam truebird plays it forward eduardo oh nice win by dathan wolfe out to trent liggett though out back wide to flint kill on the left flipper has the ball at field finds nathan emily on the ground big touch in the middle well defended by kevin strong strong tackle by kevin sanchez chris cardoso wins it good defense by joe ball played out wide nathan himalaya around cam truebud takes a touch inside looks for left foot of service cuts it back well defended by branson young well covered by branson young big ball out finding dathon around midfield chester back anthony picking the ball up fouled by kevin sanchez getting in the heels of anthony johnson and willie looking for the ball to be played quickly and now it's over chris quisenberry read it well come back and double down support aiden likely to play the ball out quickly to flynn there it is flynn takes a touch looking for a service well defended by joe deckard cleared out by joe hefner right to dan wolfe who's always in the right spot chester the ball down can he save it for going out of bounds well saved no man lion's been calling tight uh throw in for white looked like dayton had saved that ball flink heel with a throw in i played high school soccer with uh flynn kills father seth kill well thrown in to nathan touch back eddie wins the ball well defended by dathon little touch well divided by kevin back and forth right now dathan picks the ball up to branson young who well defended by ada whitley well tiki talk fouls again quick ball oh what's the referee waiting on not sure yet i didn't see a foul there but referee just got a quick whistle today aid with the ball in his hands near midfield let's see if he plays it short instead of just double the ball they have no one in the box closer than everybody in the box right now playing the ball in the box seems like a bad idea play the ball wide to nathan mla can he touch it yes he can defend it on an island there by joe hefner defends well serves the ball in ooh touched by cam trooper out for a corner kick looks like aidan willie's going to be coming over to serve it in swinger in we've only played two and a half minutes in the second half still 1-0 to columbus north america on the corner only a couple step run up swerved in nathan emily [Applause] nathan emily with the header off the corner kick from in whitley 2-0 for columbus north 37 minutes love to go in the second half [Applause] east with a kickoff back to branson plays the ball short to ben silva been sylvain to kevin such as nice touch left footed out wide western mind attacking out the left-hand side takes a touch but looking for the surface end now he's going to dribble him well dribbled well drilled by trent serve the ball out of bounds for a goal kick good double down pressure by looks like jesse williams to help out toughest couple minutes in soccer always the first five minutes last five minutes a half but also right after goals are scored um gotta make sure you keep middle focus um east coming down very aggressively right after the k right on the kickoff very dangerous next couple of minutes for both teams well won by weston with the shoulder um out by up trent chris quisenberry um two at first touching the ball out collision no foul call throw in ooh throwing for columbus he's called by the linesman dathan wolf dates the wolf on the ball looking for a big throw in the box east kevin sanchez checking out wide he's gonna draw a defender nope they stay centrally aiden whitley and branson aiden whitley over i'm sorry aiden william cam oh i'm rolling that silva corbin hatcher out well done chris christopher and flynn matched up looks like eddie cordova out there with him to double on that chris corber is so tough they sent him closer husband three players over to help to try to defend chris quiz around that play ran through by jesse nathan white comes out with it 1v4 right now well defended well transitioned by columbus east uh outside the or open his hips always going wide on that shot well defended by columbus he's good good attack by nathan white but columbus has had numbers defensively corden for the goal kick big kick again to midfield aiden whitley on the header wins to jesse pushing the back referee calls free kick for columbus east not sure if you can hear right now but there are definitely chants going back before between the students section of columbus north versus columbus east it's a great environment here out there out of the complex well stood by dathan takes a touch eddie picks up dathan tries to run through it christian cardoso wins branson comes away with it well done by branson young oh joe decker with a touch miscommunication between the two good defense by joe deckard oh this is dangerous not the quiz quiz break isolated ooh not sure why the referee is calling that foul chris quisenberry the most dangerous player on the field balling his foot out wide eyesight against true look at referee decides to bring it back for a free kick uh 40 yards from goal um i'm confused about the call branson young over the ball joe decker coming to talk joe hefner making a run up wide if they see him quick it draws flynn keel out of the box from a defensive position looks like joe heifer's going to serve a ball again and again he has just a great surface of the ball with his right foot always tries to strike it right into the wall that's why he put two in the wall from that distance and whitley out with the header right to branson young brings it down tries a shot ooh deflection could have been dangerous oscar blinnis with the hands east looks like they're back in their 442 uh diamond midfield columbus are still playing their typical 433 branson young on the win right to anthony johnson who digs it out oh beats data on the touch out the fling heel looks like good ball to anthony out wide the line oh good good defense by branson young cleans it up header out by buddy branson looking to play quickly aiden whitley with the header through aidan with the run too late too late for that for the run goal kick for columbus east beat cordon on the ball looks like we're having our first sub of the second half 33 minutes to go but here it's columbus north two columbus c zero marco figueroa coming in for jesse williams looks like playing out on the uh on the right-hand side of the 4-3-3 referee stops the whistle for some reason oh it looks like eddie cordova took a knock um previously so he's hobbling off the field right now trainer on the field so columbus north will have to put in the first defensive substitution of the match let's see who the coach chooses to put in looks like they're going to be putting in povett dillon a young sophomore again for columbus north plays on the same club team as several of these players of course um first action here in the oklahoma city uh columbus north match right now for columbus north they have four sophomore on the field povet dylan aiden whitley christian cardoso and marco figueroa and masaki takamoto is also sophomore he gets on the field as well so they're playing five sophomores so far in this match will holiday out the back uh playing a big ball gonna be a throw in for columbus east western roman on the throw not over marco marco quite athletic um and has a very very very good vertical leap as well tough to throw the ball over marco throws it short good good ball into silva defended foul there midfield marco in the hills of ben silva looks like corbin hatch will be taking this one on on well defended by weston romine throw in for columbus north trent league on the ball looks like they're switching again to make sure trent is matched up with quislenberry clearly that's been a coaching point uh this match they want to have tripling it on the same side as chris quisenberry so now flynn left footed now on the right side of the back line and trent has a right footer on the left side of the back line for columbus north uh and chris quiserberry really trying to work hard trying to find the openings uh to getting behind this columbus star defense right now and he's choosing the side where has young povet dylan the sophomore as a left center back and the other side has will holiday as a senior center back looks like justin silva's coming in for his brother ben silva there's branson on the ball back out wide served in trouble trouble for north good play by east oh well cleared out by trent good good chance for columbus east right there cam on the ball one timing out to joe defended by nathan emily plays it back to trent liggett looks like he's going to play it big into the box good ball into the box put him under pressure out wide to chris quisenberry trent lined up looking for support povet now comes out to support chris quiser on the ball dangerous well defended well double defended by by povet again chris on the ball looking for a service somehow he got it out oscar with cleans it up in the back whenever chris gets the ball two three defenders for columbus or seem to always swarm around him um and and chris definitely deserves that respect when he has the wildest foot big kick by oscar left-footed nice win by justin silva with with no pressure will holiday uh up high against nathan dayton wins the ball aiden wheely comes out with it driving on the ground well defended by branson hard play by branson coming up with it oh anthony comes out of nowhere with the six picks the ball up he's gonna drive himself good defense by joe decker to nick the ball out of bounds well defended by joe deckard um to run that down trent like a jog enough to take the throw in again east just very compact defensively no space at all right now for columbus or to play through christian kodu checking two throws it over to nathan emily holds on by miss touch branson out by cam trueblood povet steps in front and wins back to branson who one times it out to marco one time a little sloppy passage of play here oh kevin i'll pick kevin there's a good chance oh well touched by kevin sanchez can you make something of it good touch in oh chris almost with a great ball good passage to play by columbus east that's what they can do very very very quickly kevin just so creative and chris with his good runs and good speed uh just barely missed that ball man that was a good chance that's the second time chris has got those balls over the top on the nick of his foot just can't quite get that final touch so dangerous trenton on the ball plays it out to nathan lays it back to trent being simple trent not sure what to do well defended by joe decker just patient defending well done plays it into anthony again just not just little space kevin playing hard defensively back to anthony north will regroup played all the way back to povet we'll see what pop it thinks back to trent out wide here left didn't decide not to switch the field big ball over the top can it find it now corbin's gonna eat that up uh well defended by corbin touched by silva younger silva out by cam true blood trent ligo with the header ball's been in the air quite a bit sanchez trying to bring it down well done by sanchez oh miss communication between sanchez and branson back to anthony marco with the run okay played over the top knob corbin there again corbin always well positioned um he's played a lot of good soccer a lot of good coaches um he is uh he is well done he's had a very fine match right now positionally and just winning all the balls well done by joe finding kevin it's in the center foul on aidan whitley um free kick to columbus inside the center circle it's like cam oh quick ball by branson quick ball by branson well defended by povet we're all defended by pavik that was a good great decision by branson to go quick catch north off guard right there um caused a lot of problems nathan on it plays it back to aidan whitley uh just floats it up there corbin will eat this one up again just well positioned all the time so much experience with corbin um as club man high school season four year starter for columbus east oh foul there called um uh looks like branson young foul on christian cordosa um just just on the other other side of midfield 25 minutes to go 26 25 minutes to go here in the in the game columbus north currently winning two to zero here looks like aiden whitty's going to be standing on top of the ball again columbus north not putting big numbers in the box look for a short play here um there it is ballin and nathan emily good touch good little ball to nathan white can you get it can you bring it down touched in again um this touch out of bounds for a goal kick for columbus good little inner play there between nathan emily and nathan white uh results in a goal kick though for clemency with the last missed touch looks like misaki takamoto coming in for aiden willie for columbus north and ben silva is now coming back in the match for joe deckard uh both teams replacing center mids that have played a lot of minutes right now i'm trying to rotate those players in on this hot and muggy day big kick again right to midfield sanchez wins it with no pressure uh somehow anthony digs it out there to christian cardoso out to trent looking out wide good run by marco figueroa uh jumps over the ball good again just always good defense by corbin hatcher winning the ball off marco for the columbus he's throwing quick throwing to ben silva good play ooh trouble ball come all the way across with the misplay out to flynn keel takes the touch to the left side lays it off to nathan who tries the dummy run cleaned up by cam true but again cam very experienced played for player for east um a couple year starter for them as well as the center back um you know clean up everything as well in the center of the field kevin oh coming to branson miss play anthony with the win marco on the weak side there's marco with the ball well defended by weston making that recovery run good ball out ben silva on the ball chris making that great run out wide good try for referee colin fouls um there again about 30 yards from goal there's a dangerous chance for columbus east looks like poverty got into nathan wolf there a bit who's gonna be on the ball i always suspect chris quisberry this one shooting range isis by chris quisenberry the right foot or kevin sanchez with the left foot and i would expect a shot rather than a pass or a service columnist north of the four-man wall that's a lot of respect from this distance putting four in that means the team is absolutely expecting a shot um and not worried about the service played into the box right now one of the items i'm not sure why columbus north is putting those people along the six yard line there they are pushing them back up columbus is doing the right thing trying to drive the players back as deep as possible i would expect chris quisenberry to try to hit this one over around the wall good hit goal columbus chris quisenberry clearly the leader of this team great free kick over around the wall in the upper corner oscar bellinis with no chance to make that save game starting to get riled up right now for sure uh crowd columbus crowd is definitely back into the match right now what a strike by chris quisenberry i'm hitting that ball over and around the wall um in the upper corner high school goes have a tough time making that save columbus north with the ball of the kickoff playing it back to uh to will holidays in the center back out wide to flynn [Applause] ball player to the top mark of the touch but corbin there good play out by east they've got the momentum right now anthony johnson with the win of that off jake off like he's played out wide here i would expect there it is the christian he's going to go one more here out to trent there it is um the whole field is flooding out here to the left-hand side trent matched up quickly taking him on he's going to find he's going to find the cornell brings it back finds nathan what's he looking for serves the ball in uh that's not going to do anything in this match pete's too good for that one well done by east defense again not very much space right now for the columbus north attack through that defense find out why who's going to win it first looks like dathan wolfe defended by flynn kill out wide dathon on top looks like he touched the ball out of bounds columbus throwing sling kill on the ball for columbus north looks like aidan whitley is back on on the line going in for christian cordosa cortes so throw in one by silva out of bounds though throwing white sling kill takes it quick throw into marco figueroa takes a touch back to flynn keel touches it up wide well done by corbin hatcher as always one back by marco nathan white cleaned up by corbin sorry by cam big bite willie on the header ball been the air not the prettiest passage of play here for last few moments finally balls on the deck um just the ball played forward blindly up front sling kill on it plays the ball out of bounds big throw in from dathan trying to catch him off guard good throw good throw uh dangerous pop it there to clean it up aidan whitley wins over jake tamasaki on his weak side finds nothing but air finds nathan off his left side good defenses swarming defense by columbus east ben silva digs it out with help from branson back to corbin oh almost finds jake's feet anthony johnson on the ball for columbus north takes a look finds aiden wheel in the middle who simply plays it back north trying to get organized right now i'm trying to settle the game down a little bit with that pressure from east in the last several minutes 20 minutes to go here in the match game 2-1 columbus north 2-0 most dangerous lead he scores a goal now the east has the loss of the momentum um right now north trying to slow the game down to get a little bit more of the game back um to their to their style and their liking back to eden whitley slide there from um hofflic it looks like flynn right uh well done by corbin hatcher clean it up as always tries to play it forward finds his way to dathon will holiday defending back to dathon who plays it back to marco good little flick to masaki tries to play forward anthony's got it he'll find trent out wide here on the left-hand side should take a touch forward big touch is he going to try to drive out on 1v1 nathan getting run into his space he's going to shoot it he's going to shoot it easy save for pete corden from that distance that's an easy save for pete corden good passage to play there for north switching fields finding trent good run by nathan emily to the corner freeing up the space for trent to run into the middle of the field and and and try that and take that chance big pump by pete corden well over midfield it's so dangerous but right now there's not a lot of players from east back there it's just dathan and chris uh trying to go 2v4 2v5 and it looks like anthony johnson has gone down with a cramp not good for columbus north he's a solid player has had a fantastic start to the season for columbus north patrolling the entire center of the field enabling the attack so um time out on the field uh well anthony johnson tries to to bring out um try to leave his cramped trainer on the field the teams will certainly take this moment uh to get a little water break and get water in them we'll see how north adjusts um uh what they've shown previously when aids or when anthony steps out aiden whitley would step back to the sixth um and then somebody else will drop into the center mid we'll see how coach coach reacts to this because he's been the top player in the team so far the first handful of games but he's certainly in some pain on this cramp okay if you look at some of the stats coming in as we have this little break columbus east has won for the last six sectional titles um so they are certainly hoping to continue to ride that this year again with a lot of senior leadership and experience between their junior and senior class uh uh right now i mean two years ago making to the final four making it to semi state with a final four and many of the players on the field right now for columbus east were participating were part of that match um so they're looking for their experience to drive them forward if you can recall last year um in this match there was a tie in the last 30 seconds on a free kick from chris quisenberry so again this game could go right down to the wire especially with the game as intense as it is and back and forth as it is i'm looking for the last a great last 19 minutes and seven seconds of the match you know of course columbus north looking to reassert um uh where they had been the last several um before like you know before five years ago um and and and find a way to participate more and and be more competitive at the sectional level and uh this is a good step forward if they can pull out this uh this victory today oscar blinds with a big punt branson clear winner no pressure trent legging on the touch big touch forward to nathan over everybody nathan's gonna find it joe hefner on the defense cam coming to help well defended by joe hefner who finds masaki inside in the box left footed well defended by cam and branson two defenders flowing to misaki well defended massage with a good chance on shot though and well done by nathan to find nathaniel to find him out find him penetrating there pete courtney on the big punt again well over midfield this time jake hofflick is on top of it and willie comes out driving with the ball finds nathan white back to christian and aidan has stepped into the uh the sixth role with masaki and christian playing um in advanced roles right now that's three sophomores playing center mid for columbus north great ball out wide by jake to chris quisenberry isolated will holiday a great ball he's gonna find it silva's well touched by well touched by flynn kiel good defender well done by jake finder branson he's gonna find chris chris dary as he finds out why that's the right play finder find your player wide well defended by marco chris quinn around the ball again takes a lot of players to guard him i've already sent two now the third chris still on the ball still on the ball still on the ball still on the ball nice defense took four players for columbus north to get that ball off chris quizora in that moment just to clearance out touched by cam to nathan emily referee stops play two players collide in the back looks like will holiday a cramp and chris quisenberry again been a hard match so far uh players playing hard coming back with uh cramps it shows the intensity in the level of this game and how hot and muggy it is out here today but chris quinn quite a handful when he has the ball on his foot and north korea continues to send players to him to try to defend to get the ball off his foot and it looks like will and chris collided there at the end also looks like flynn keel has gone down looking for a stretch out his uh leg as well um that's two players for north right now getting their legs stretched out from a cramped perspective we'll see if they both can continue i didn't announce this earlier i apologize but eduardo cordova back on the field and center back for columbus north for povet dillon previously but it looks like will holiday is going to have to come out because he stopped play for him poppy dylan coming back in first center big for will i'm going to guess yep will's back at the line the next stop should play will will go back in i i'd certainly presume they're gonna go drop ball we'll see if we just simply play it back to columbus east uh goalkeeper let's see if the ball goes straight back there if flynn just hits it back or we actually uh keep possession here if they keep obsession here yep plays it into marco slip header dangerous play well defended looks like it could have been a handball that's what he was calling for well done by joe to save it from a corner kick [Music] yup linesman saw the handball handball called on nathan white they'll be free kick freeze at the top of the box pete corner with the ball see if he plays short nope he's going to decide to play along again trying to find nathan wolfe on these headers right at nathan aiden whitley defending little touch yep foul on dathan um on aid whitley a free kick for white [Music] north is hoping they can get will holiday into the match um on this on this set piece adequately trying to make that call referee making counts he's not gonna allow it i'm pretty sure yep not gonna allow it all right gotta wait for the next album to play throwing for columbus north or goalkick or goal or our offensive corner kick ain't willie plays a deep into the box well defended [Music] played out by uh cam trueblood they will have this substitution now i will holiday will come back in for private dylan [Music] flynn killing the ball throw in with nathan emily and masaki takamoto supporting aiden whitley holding in the sixth position right now quiz quiz back in the match as well matched up against trent liggett throwing to nathan emily good touch back to flynn well defended by joe hefner out of bounds for a quarter converter for columbus north ayden whitley not going to take this corner kick now he's playing the sixth position with a 2-1 lead 15 minutes to go uh north keeping four players back against the two for columbus east marco figueroa to play the end swinger um and for this oh now it looks like dayton wook is coming back nathan wolfe is coming back to help defend in the box only three players maybe four players in the box for north they're keeping five players back right now good service into the box nathan imlay still put it out christian cardosos uh lets up on it and whitley applying light pressure now he wins it out of it just runs it out of bounds i throw him for columbus north puts it down trent like it with a throw in nathan and nathan switching position on the runs thrown into nathan emily right down line good decision by them miss touch out of bounds throwing for columbus east looks like western roman on the ball chris quisenberry again trying to find open space switching sides trying to find it ivan flynn trent ligging and flim kill again switching sides um trent lingard now left-hand side i think they've switched sides at least five or six times this half already good touch by um by ben silva out to kevin well done by branson out to chris quisenberry can you save it if you can you can see eduardo yes well done bye chris uh good touch by by trent well done by chris to take a good first touch and progress it forward puts the ball down joe hefner on the throw in big throw over to joe joe deckard defended by eduardo gold kick for columbus north out of bounds for on columbus east looks like columbus north has a substitution up at the bench i can't up the line i can't see who that substitution will be oscar bellinis with a goal kick won by silva uh good touch uh miss touch there marco has the ball back to flynn for columbus north plays with his left foot finds out the white one his feet takes a touch inside plays it back to misaki aiden williams going to run through it finds it beats branson branson always tough just because you beat him once doesn't mean you can beat him again he's always there good touch by babasaki inside the christian out wide here to trent does he take a positive touch he does inside with the right foot on the sake back out to trent he's going to drive no always inside right foot misplay right there massa looks like marco can dig it out though good good good idea for marco plays it all the way back i assume he should he doesn't turn over oh god fortune right there simple play out some will play backward in the right play there looks like there's a sub coming in for columbus north i can't see who it is is that morales i think it might be brian rodriguez a freshman playing outside back i think i can't tell a number hasn't been announced i think that's who that is uh young freshman getting uh getting a few matches under about playing the last couple matches for columbus north outside back left-footed player um going in for flynn keel yup that's who it is um so uh so for young freshman getting uh some minutes in a big match like this good good for him good play by eduardo miss touchdown it's like oh this is dangerous chris quisenberry has the gap has the lane right now he's played in well played in he has the gap good hit out wide ooh nice play by columbus he's so quick on the counter great pass there great win by ben sylvan great pass out to chris quisenberry found the gap between the outside back and the center back it looks like trent liggett is now down stretching will holiday is now stretching again columbus north back line is really um really hurting right now from a cramping perspective we have 11 minutes and 45 seconds left to go in the in the match 2-1 for columbus north again play has been stopped trainer on the field uh cramping right now for the back line for columbus north this is at least a third or fourth stoppage of play for cramps for leg cramps on the calf this one looks like it's trent liggett and he's been the one following uh chris quisenberry all over the field and chris is definitely not cramping up he's in immaculate shape right now so we'll see how columbus north um adjusts how they're going to match up against chris because they've been intentionally putting trent on him the entire match and we'll see how they match looks like they're putting povett dylan in sophomore so we'll see how he matches up against chris with chris's with all chris's experience right now goal kick for columbus north oscar blinnis on the kick good kick up to midfield branson cam somehow nathan white pulls out of it plays the ball out wide to jesse making the run forward columbus north hasn't been forward for for quite a while good touch by jesse around the defender he's in the box good cross well defended well defended by columbus big clearance out to dathon chris quisenberry's flight on the left-hand side well dug out by masaaki there branson still finds chris this is dangerous chris out on the wings you got two runners coming center middle from east you got dathan and kevin coming back if you can find him on the box well defended by eduardo chris quisenberry um really really really taking it to him to columbus north back line right now eduardo had to come over to help but really great hustle from the center mids for columbus he's beating the cinemas from columbus north down the field both of them into the box before uh columbus north midfield can get there uh certainly columbus east is winning the transition battle right now um in the last 15 minutes not the match chris quisenberry on the ball for uh for a corner kick looks like justin silva is back in the match looks like anthony johnson is back in the match for masaki um for north and justin i can't tell who justin went in for uh but just went in looks like they're putting two people on the ball out wide joe decker to quiz quisenberry [Applause] [Music] [Applause] referee losing track of players the second time i've seen how to count the number of players to make sure we're we're legal wasting valuable time right now for columbus season as he counts players in swiger for chris great ball is nathan going to be there well won by eduardo cordova anthony on the ball looking for a big hit probably to nathan white good ball up the line if it stays in bounds it does good touch by nathan white can you find anybody underneath he does finds povet he's got to be quick france is coming branson always got to be quick on the ball branson's always there well done by branson played back out by silva well one backed by povet out to will out to aiden whitley [Music] hits the referee okay i'm not sure if that's fortunate for coleman shortly unfortunately that ball was probably to nobody out to the deep corner so wasting a little bit of time apparently ball is going to go down drop ball to columbus north clemson wins it he's going to play it out wide now to povet now chris quisenberry's matched up against brian morales as a freshman this is really dangerous right now there's no one hanging back on chris quisenberry the uh sorry brian rodriguez he has pushed that forward um not paying attention where where chris quisenberry is if east gets the ball quisenberry is wide open from a transition perspective good shot well saved well saved from pete gordon [Applause] big pump by pete brian's over it over him right to chris quisenberry good touch oh sorry miss touched out of bounds throwing for columbus north throwing to ayden whitley lets it run takes a touch just plays it deep into the corner throwing for columbus east just flopped it in there to nobody in particular eight and a half minutes ago two to one columbus north [Music] will holiday stepping through to win to uh bro rodriguez plays it up good win oh i thought he was going to come out with it went to nathan inlay back to nate and anthony back to nathan he's a little run on it great chase by kevin can he get there to help he does good cut back from nathan he's gonna try to shoot from there that's not gonna be pete corden from there pizza's two two side of a goalkeeper to be beat from that distance p big punt big punt again well over midfield trying to pick on chris quisenberry's side and that freshman for sure chris well defended chris coming out with it though back to silva back to chris turns on aiden good touches good step up in winter man again it takes so much aiden whitley having a cramp right now he's gonna have to come out of the match here in a moment he's down pavement dylan wins the ball chris cardoso [Applause] again another stoppage of play columbus worth really really not not hydrated well enough or not in shape well enough for this match at least the fifth player going down for cramps uh for for camps in the in the crowd for the hamstring in this in the second returning half the olympians number 19 western romer seven minutes and 23 seconds left on the match on the scoreboard columbus north beating columbus is 2-1 uh it is anybody's game right now columbus are trying to hold on um having cramps you know figuring out how the coach is going to continue to adjust to these difficult conditions chris quisenberry trying to find an opening uh somewhere against combustor's back line with two two uh outside wingers right now uh outside backs that are new to the match and so chris is trying to find where the right space is for columbus east and their center mids continue trying to find chris the ball right now it looks like povet dylan's responsibility to follow chris around aidan whitley just to his feet now walk off the field looks like trent liggett is back into the match uh for povet sonal will be trent leggett on on him and also sorry trentling it in for uh brian rodriguez um so trent will certainly match up against chris again we'll go drop ball right here [Music] looks like they put in masaki takamoto in the center mid i'm saying that cinnamon's from north would be anthony johnson masaki takamoto and christian cardoso front line for columbus north jesse williams nathan white um nathan emily uh front runners for uh for east would be still dathan um and and chris center mids right now silva joe deckard branson and uh sanchez oh that's david chen sorry david ching has his first varsity minutes here uh in this action sorry david chen in the center mid not misaki good turn by christian david chin another young sophomore on the team uh first minutes here in his and his first northeast match um good good pressure right now joe and nathan throwing for uh for columbus east good win by sanchez nathan woof on the ball can you find chris trying to well done to silva finds chris out wide ooh great shot great chance by by east just over the bar that can just columbus can just strike so quickly so quickly great little outlet pass from silva several the balls on his foot with a little bit of space he's been able to find chris quisenberry several times um really clever little passing right there from columbus east side with a good head ball winner from sanchez in the middle of the field and then dathan to to silva big goal keep go kick from oscar bellinas branston easy winner without pressure povet heading to back ball in the air christian cardoso brings it down branson in the back christian brings it out digs it out not a lot of help david chin nice play out there gives it to anthony plays the ball simply out to trent league on the right-hand side columbus trying to slow the game down frenetic pace right now to the match the ball has been down the attacking end for columbus season for the last five or ten minutes good touch from jesse williams gets gets through a couple what can he do here keeps going now cleaned up well by cam true but having a good match cam and corbin in the center box right now um good win all right there ball in the air still anthony dathan's just so big referee again dave is just big not sure how you call that but again calling a very very very tight match right now uh foul at the center of field columbus north ball just about five minutes to go now looks like western romine is down for columbus east hobbing off with uh with leg cramps looks like they're putting in justin silva on the left back position right now for columbus east it'll be white free kick this referee's still not sure what he's doing um he's just very confusing he's walking over to the to this to the fan sideline the play has stopped i'm not looking to talk to the referee but man he aligns with it he has no urgency about him at all oh he's telling the clock it's about five minutes and 25 seconds back on the clock instead of the clock says 515 he's asking this the clock operator to put 525 back on the clock but again not a lot of urgency in the center referee right now looks like will holiday at the center of the field gonna take a free kick he's gonna play it short plays it deep into the corner uh silva with a nice win again nice win to his brother uh ben nice win there anthony digs it out um look under control there to jesse to david chen nathan white cleans it up oh bad ball back well picked up by sanchez he's always gonna be looking forward well done by dathan checking in good ball out wide ah well read by povet poverty digs it out good touch inside beats them good defense by nathan referee man just ticky tacky fouls let the kids play free kick for white but man just so tight let the let the kids play man plays it short to will will taking a touch east is going to be all types of pressure high pressure on the back line right now not allowing to have have the possession like they had in the first half jesse williams splits oh well read again by corbin it's just so tight back there well out by joe heffner good win by joe deckard povett wins runs through it to nathan emily well done back by joe to joe heffner big hit out chris quinterberry's going to come and win it for for columbus east gonna play back to sanchez foul there i'm sure somehow we let that one play chris quisenberry digs it out with the ball there's a foul call that one does he dig into his pocket yes he does yellow card to trent liggett three minutes 55 seconds left to go in the match yellow card to trent ooh getting a little testy out there get a little testy out there between between chris and trent rodriguez back in the game for columbus north it went surprisingly if trent puts himself right back on the line to come right back into the next stoppage nope he heads to the bench i get another dangerous opportunity columbus north given a lot of space inside the box they're almost back to their own six they're definitely not holding a high line at all given all types of space um for the ball to be floated in uh looks like we have anthony johnson matched up against uh chris quisenberry right now on this set piece nathan emily matched up against nathan wolfe um looks like branson would be taking it and again the referee jogging this time he's jogging so a little bit of urgency showing this time he's probably gonna reset the clock again the clock right now says 345.

he's asking with three five four he's asking we are 354 so i had nine more seconds back on it again this is too many stoppages for my liking for this game he's not letting the kids play um and he's just stopping to play making a lot of about himself um frustrating free kick for columbus east branson over the ball everybody else for east nathan white only one up top for columbus north north with the nine players in the box but giving up a lot of space um this could be a mess in the box branson floats it in wins by nathan out by eduardo cordova looks like pav is going to run this one down chased by joe deckard povet shouldn't probably just one time up to nathan white takes the touch just one times it out won by justin silva touch to joe joe that wide to ben silva ben silva to joe deckard good possession right here for columbus east good touch by ben good little dribble [Applause] ben just hits it back out three and a half minutes left to go in the match big clearance by jesse north are just going to be content to sit back right now with nathan white as a lone frontrunner big throw out going to justin rodriguez going to press picked up by christian cardoso nathan white to rodriguez he plays it uh well picked up by branson well played always in the right position you can just tell the experience of some of these uh the defensive experience and positioning by the columbus back line in center mids joe decker plays it back to joe hefner big hit coming there it is well done by eduardo cordova to read that play big looks like columbus road to be content just playing big balls over the top and kill the game out nice work by nathan white to be be composed when the ball played out to rodriguez who played the david chin lots of touches out to rodriguez back to chin miss touch well positioned by corbin to hit that ball branson back to cam trooper big ball up top dathan wolfe is all over it with povett dylan papa wins a foot race to nathan emily back to eddie cordova back out to povet he'll find nathan right here in the middle he'll find it no there it is anthony anthony being chased by kevin sanchez see what happens here wow call going to columbus east columbus throw in two minutes 10 seconds left to go in the match referee stops the clock um someone down from columbus east with leg cramps it looks like it is maybe i can't tell olympian substitution cam true blood maybe [Music] i think it's cam true blood that's uh down with cramp uh leg cramps also looks like joe hefner is laying down on the ground um over by the two minutes nine seconds to go two to one columbus north anybody's match here i'm clone resources content to kick the ball down the field klemma sees the plant all the pressure right now columbus north starters that are not on the field right now due to leg cramps outside backs two outside backs two center mids um and so a lot a lot of players playing for both teams today [Music] looks like you have jake hoffleck returning to the field as well looks like he might be going outside back for joe hefner we'll see if east decides to change her shape to put more attacking players on because jake heflick typically is an attacking player um if he's going in for joe hefner in the back hillary will be attacking out the back or he will uh they'll be changing shape flink kills also coming in for brian rodriguez um left-sided player looks like flynn keel is now going to be matched up against chris quisenberry with povet dylan going to the right-hand side jesse williams looks like he's taking it upon himself to come back and play a lot of defense here as well he's just lining himself up in the back in the back line um trying to hold on anthony will anthony johnson still trying to stretch out uh his calves yep that is cam drew blood uh i walk out the field gingerly right now with like camp cramps [Music] joe hefner is going to come off the field and jake clefik will play in the right back position and jake huff will not take the throw in for columbus east yeah it looks like jesse williams is now playing uh a third center back right now for columbus north um with eduardo will and jesse as those three center backs throw in to silva big out by jake won by will holiday anthony johnson with the header well won by justin silva david chin on it good work by david to play it anthony now nathan to flynn good defense by sanchez good defense by sanchez good pressure by by nathan throwing for columbus north a minute 40 to go again getting a little testy last couple of minutes here no one wants to walk away off the field with the loss here today [Applause] throw in to columbus north you recall again last year chris quinbury hit a 30-yard bomb free kick with less than 20 seconds to go to tie the match um east will be looking for the same type of uh outcome here in the last minute and a half today well won by nathan well won by flynn back big kick uh by eduardo just get the ball out ben silva's moved back to the center back position for cam big pressure by nathan white povett wins it out popping with the ball is he driving to goal somehow he is the referee decides to go with the goal kick um goal kick for columbus east 45 seconds left on the clock pete corden going to come up with a big kick right here big kick pushes it a little bit to the left miss play by by povet looks like jesse trying to get chris quisenberry tough matchup right now out of bounds by will holliday very similar circumstances last year ball in that corner 30 seconds to go 2-1 for columbus north big throw in coming for dathan wolfe east throwing everybody forward pete corden up to near midfield big throw in one out by jesse williams again going back and playing center back uh to look like they're playing five in the back right now big touch by dathan big dive in by povet dylan looks like big kick out by nathan five seconds to go four three two one well defended at the very end by columbus north two to one your final uh columbus north goals by aidan whitley and nathan emily go for columbus east by chris quisenberry a great match great pressure um all around um you know certainly hot and muggy conditions a lot of players cramping up toward the very end of the match with the leg cramps still i count three players on the floor right now for columbus north uh with with cramps lots of emotion out there great

so those guys too thank you and i know mr steiner you might have something a little bit later so yeah all right uh we're going to move to the public comment as i am going to say anybody thanks mom's watching all right normally we would move on to the consent agenda items but we're going to pull an item from new business up ahead of that because we want to make sure that behind like this and i'm going to let the mr key paper well and i actually we're just going to turn it over to mr snyder and i do have a little write-up here but i won't switch it over until he's ready so um basically we had some parents and alumni from northfield that came to me and mr warren and i thank mr hawker as a board member so we've been talking and you know there have been places around like mr neal tennis courts mr gannon from shark creek softball field mr wilbur dawes football field and mr weingartner the baseball field we have mr campbell deck for wrestling and mr colton mark for the west gym and someone came with an idea about we don't have a name for our track but i know a guy that spent more time on that track than anybody else and so we are coming to the board to ask if we can say welcome to wilbur dawes field and living track when people come to northfield because i think what 40 years or more on the track 53 so it's like if we're gonna name stuff and we thought we should have a living track out there you know i came here in 68 spring to 68 and there was no track out there it was it was stoned uh the parking lot was gravel and big stones for the foundation to be put in and then that summer they put in that new six-lane track and i heard that southwood and northfield were one of the first all-weather tracks put in in the state of indiana and the school board said we'll add two more lanes in five years so it wasn't my idea but a lot of people you've had in track and in pe and in class over the years i didn't think it was a bad idea so i said no i'll take it and go with it you know half the people in this room and it's funny to sit here and see all these people and i've been drivers training she's in our sixth grade class but you know when i was kevin invited us to the school board and my first thoughts were after 53 years and jane trying to get me to retire 10 years ago the last 10 years she secretly came to the board [Music] i worked with you for eight or nine years at and they got along great and i went on a science motion trip here and there before we we're trying to get it back but you know before all this other stuff happened and all i know is i couldn't agree more with naming that track lending track if it's okay with these guys thank you i can't imagine a better person i had him as a seventh grade football coach he right he started me out in a grade school in urbana uh had all four of my kids in elementary you know phys ed and then you had three of my kids and tracking across country who better okay well i've been blessed with a lot of good talent uh scott a spinner hold the school record 100 to 200 400 i was ninth in the state when it was pouring down rain and finished eiffel state of course i always say good athletes will make a good coach and and it's true but of course kevin um i raised him from the cradle with pogba reached in the crib and took his hands and legs and turned him upside down bouncing up and down before i was in first grade we had a mattress on top of tires that i was jumping onto can your mom let him do that kevin was fifth of course i don't know if you all know that track and cross country is the whole entire state it's not divided into small groups it's the whole entire state to finish ninth in the state and of course we've had several other athletes placed at the top kent state kevin was fifth his junior year and his senior year is second in the state and uh made the indiana all-star team and he got a full full-ride scholarship in indiana state which saved us a lot of money but you know the the biggest supporter that i had was jane six kids right running down ballet and cheerleading soccer she did all that stuff so i could coach thank you i'll oh and i wanted to mention mr driscoll his son uh i think it was four years ago the 4x1 greenway team we didn't have the four bestest sprinters around but our handoffs were so smooth and so slick that we just got random because of the baton exchange and went undefeated county champions uh conference champions broke the school record sectional champions and we were set to go into the state finals and so ryan had appendicitis so right yes brian was the lead off leg and i'm standing there in the middle field and ryan white scott is a good good head start and he was kind of jogging around the track and we were in last night ninth place what's the matter with him and of course we got way behind and couldn't make it up and i found out later the next day he was in the hospital got his appendix we just thought he was nervous [Music] all right we have a motion in a second to officially rename the track at northfield to be lending track all in favor say hi we did move that up if you want to say you you may but you want to go you can do it too so it's up to you okay [Laughter] he doesn't look that fast 49.4 you know what that that means that's good pretty substantial he could run collegiate i tried to get him to run that purdue and he would have brought his time down considerably at the college all right we're going to move on to consented items uh first up is approval of the minutes from our last regular meeting on august i'm going to take seven minutes thank you i wish you a second to approve from our last starting with claims this will be our last uh this concludes our pay for the 21 school year 2021 school or so next payroll would represent the new the new school year nothing nothing major other than that second second there's a big number on there too yeah okay that was our first payment for our room i saw that whole uh i don't know why it cuts this off but you guys should see the bottom part where i make the little notes on there i don't know why it does it on here but just the pdf yeah so what you're seeing here are i did factor in a potential uh wage increase but we don't know that for sure until we go through the contract bargaining and then i do have the basic grant revenues all focused from the july 2021 estimated number that was submitted but it does not reflect the actual september adm counts hopefully in the next week or so we'll have a better general idea of what our september alien account may look like um but obviously we won't know the actuals until towards the end of september once they go through their whole process and cleaning up and everything like that but i submitted 2 000 and so that's what the dollars represent in there based off of that number and then that will get adjusted once we know what september actuals are so that just kind of gives you a little bit of a preview then for the remainder of the year of where we may finish out and then for operations nothing really has changed with anything in there all based off of trends so nothing i didn't change anything on that as far as what would be consistent uh one thing i will say and i don't know if you will notice that have noticed that we got a memo from the stapler accounts like two weeks before our first payroll in july or in july saying that we had to change our object codes and so the reason we have to change our object codes is to uh it will track the new legislation as far as the of tuition support go into teacher salaries and the funding floor formula where you have to pay more in teacher salaries each year as long as the revenue increases so they have to track that so one of the ways they track that is through changing object codes so they gave us a whole new set of object codes that we have to use moving forward and so you can kind of see there are some rows that are left blank there and that was because of the change in the object for that so really won't get a good idea of trends for a while until get through a couple months of using those object codes but that is something new that is represented on both of those cash flow spreadsheets so anything with an object code 110 is strictly teachers and teachers are defined as somebody that teaches more than 50 percent of their day so counselors no longer count as teachers even though they are considered teachers in our bargaining unit so it gets a little tricky now with some of that but that's what those numbers uh are representing there state tracks out on a year-end basis for how six months so on our form nine we report every six months and it pulls in all the information based on what we what our accounting structures are and then they use that information to determine out their tolls so like when they so now when they compare teacher salaries they'll code anything with an object 110 will represent how much we spent on teacher salaries and then whatever our basic revenue is revenue support from the state is for that time period they'll use that to figure out if we've met that 45 percent or not and there will be some discussions about changing some of that legislation already as far as you know adding some people back possibly counselors and also maybe the benefits because that's a big part of budgets also so there's been a lot of discussion about that but we don't necessarily know why it just became 45 percent where that number came from it's just an arbitrary number what happened with that but there'll be a lot more discussion about that coming up in the next legislative session in my reading that correct we're at 46.85 percent of that is that that's a different number now okay that number is how much we spent in our appropriations yeah so right now they don't include any kind of benefits nope benefits are not included in the teacher compensation polls anything that's why it needs to be revisited yes i love oh operations i already mentioned everything with operations there's nothing new there sure so this will conclude our budget review for the 2022 budget and then the next board meeting will have our budget hearing and then the board meeting after that we'll have our budget adoption so the last thing that i kind of go through with everybody each year is what we call the form not our form for advertisement which is something that you will approve at the budget adoption which just highlights what we're going to advertise as far as the tax rate is concerned and so we all know what taxes are i don't think it goes to the definition there according to those slides i do have a video that i want to show that was kind of funny what's been where's all your money going buddy taxes [Music] so he's learning at a young age so when we look at determining what tax rates are what impacts on our tax rates there's a couple things that we look at we look at assessed valuation and levies and so assessed valuation is what determines the value of a residence for tax purposes those are things that us as a district we don't have any control of we are given what our assessed value is as far as the district-wide component is we don't control what property values get assessed as or any of that type of stuff but assess valuation plays an important role in figuring out what the end tax rate is going to be and so the other thing we look at is levies levies we do have a lot more control of this is essentially the levy is the money that we are asking to fund our budget and so based off of that levy then and what our assessed valuation is there's a formula that determines what that overall tax rate is going to be so our levees are considered fixed levees and so uh on a kind of a seesaw there the levy amount is fixed and then the rate is fluctuated based off of the assessed valuation so if the assessed valuation is high the tax rate is lower if the assessed valuation is lower than the tax rate becomes higher so we look at historically where we've sat or where we've been with our net assessed valuation you can see over the last three years we had a little bit of a decline and then we kind of flattened off our excessive vibration has not uh increased uh as much so it's kind of been a little bit on the flat side of things but currently we sit at 721 million dollars of assessed valuation for our district so that can kind of show you how it's grown over time we do get estimated numbers from the county uh in deter in showing what our assessed valuation may potentially be the number that we got this year was pretty high uh which was uh unforeseen a little bit uh looking to be if it's true was around 760 million in assessed valuation which would be the highest that it's ever been about a year ago we had a study done through policy analytics we've already went through all of this but just kind of to review it this was all happening when the pandemic started but this was kind of a projection that was used in looking at what our potential assessed valuations uh would be over a period of time uh the blue would be what would happen on a regular situation where the orange represents if we were to happen to go into a recession a lot of uncertainty was happening at that point in time because of covid and everything else so they ran a couple different models for that so from an assessed valuation standpoint if we wanted to compare with our border schools uh huntington has the largest assessed valuation obviously it's one district one county uh and so they get they pull in everything from from that area and then we would be next followed down by everybody else the one thing that's interesting to look at is the little dot that dot represents the assessed valuation per adm so student number so based off the number of students that we have you know that comes out to be about 350 thousand dollars of assessed valuation per student so that shows a pretty strong assessed valuation free when we look at our tax rates over the last 10 years you can see that there has been some fluctuation up and down a lot of that is driven by what the assessed valuation is um and so again you know if assessed valuation were to go down tax rate kind of increases it goes up tax rate might kind of decrease but as an average of those 10 years we've been hovering in the low 80 cents i couldn't find one for 2020 so i had to use the last one that i had access to this just represents from 2019 what statewide the median average was for school corporations it was just uh just at a dollar and so you would see that historically we've been in the lower 25 percentile of assessed by their of tax rate this is just another graph representing the same thing you see we would fall in that 80 cent category tax rates again uh policy analytics use that assessed valuation to kind of give us a prediction of what our tax rates may look like over a period of time uh and so the green or the orange would represent if we kind of kept our tax rate uh as far as our our debt and our operations tax rates similar over a period of time and how that would adjust as assessed valuation changed the blue line would represent if we assumed our current debt schedule which would show debt falling off and i x out the 20 20 uh two there because of the bond that we took out that will be paid off in 2023 so that line would actually represent just bump over to one one column to the next side there uh this shows tax rates uh comparatively uh with our border schools and you can see there that we are the second lowest than of our surrounding areas and then this is a similar graph that shows tax rate compared to uh levy amounts and the reason i show this to you because it is i think it's kind of interesting because you can see okay huntington their tax rate i think it says a dollar eight but that that dollar eight is that dollar eight mike dollar three and that dollar three generates over 16 million dollars for them uh and so you see our tax rate at 87 cents generates just uh around just over six million dollars and then you can see like wabash city theirs was a dollar six i can't 64.64 and that generates less than four million dollars so you can kind of see how some of those tax rate and dollars that they actually generate for that corporation so tax rates are impacted on two of our funds that would be the debt service and operations fund those are not state supported those are not federally supported those are only supported by our local tax dollars and so evaluation plays a role in that circuit breaker loss plays a role in that tif districts which can have an impact on assessed valuations can play a role in uh some of those determinations so our goal is to advertise a higher rate and a high levy to ensure we can collect the full amount of levy for the budget we need in order to operate so to do that we use a low assessed valuation in our advertisement and because we do a low assess valuation that's going to show a higher tax rate increase to get the levy that we do that and we do that to protect ourselves because we don't know what our assessed valuation is going to be and if our assessed valuation comes back lower than what we actually put on there that could cause us to not uh be able to fund our budget because we may not be able to draw as much levy as we've requested and so i'm kind of playing a little bit of a game there with that but once assessed valuation is set then that then it will typically level out to what and what it would normally be for us so things to keep in mind which funds are max levied funds and which funds are not so our operations fund does have a set levy so even though if we were to say okay i need eight million dollars to fund my operation budget i'm not gonna ever get eight million dollars i'm only going to get whatever the levy is that is determined by the dlgs for that and they base that off of the growth quotient which is the next slide you can see our levy grew from 4.3 this year and it was 4.2 so another thing that can impact taxes is that if your assessed valuation does not grow as fast as your maximum levy growth quotient does it could also cause a little change in your tax rate as well uh because it's not being able to keep up with that but your your levy growth quotient or your max levy growth quotient is based off of the six-year non-farm personal income average uh and then you can see what that average is some years it's higher some years it's lower uh and they take that six year average and like i said some of it drops off so one of the reasons why we had a higher increase over the last couple years is because you can see in 2013 that eventually dropped off of that six year average and so the numbers became higher with that and that's what has increased that growth growth quotient over that period of time so the far left column represents what we advertised in 2021 which would have been last year's budget and then the next column to it is what we actually got or what actually came about from the 2021 advertisement so it shows that we advertised a low assessed valuation in 2021 that was our actual assessed valuation and you can see we advertised last year at a dollar six and then after our assessed valuation came back it was at 87 cents but allowed us to get our levy that we asked for to fund our budget so in 2022 again we use a lower assessed valuation um to advertise a 97 cent tax rate but if you look at the 2222 estimate we don't know what that's going to be yet but if i use the same number as what we currently have that shows what it would actually be around 88 cents and depending on how that assessed valuation fluctuates i would say that could go up or down 3 cents and if it happens to be 760 million dollars then that's gonna go down for your four cents probably and so um it all determined on what that is final assessed values the last thing to consider we haven't considered this in a long time but we've had to do it in the past for cash flow purposes is to borrow money uh just on a yearly basis to cover any issues up and running the cash flow we haven't had to do that but one thing that has changed in legislation now is that we cannot include that in our debt service budget unless it's been already approved in the past we could put that in there in with the intention like we could say okay we're going to put ten thousand dollars in our debt of service with the intent that we might have to borrow money that would pay off the interest for that but we no longer do that we have to have the tax anticipation warrant approved by the board first before we can do that so that's something that's changed with that but so i did not in the debt service when we talked about that service there was no estimate in there for any short term for that so with that being said then that kind of concludes our budget review and then we'll go into the budget at our next court meeting the last thing then that i need to advertise before we can have our budget hearing is the form three which this just shows what our budget estimates are which we went over each of those funds individually uh in previous board meetings as well as what the levy is to support that fund uh if it's a tax support and so it will advertise that information along with when our budget hearing dates and budget adoption dates are being held and this is no longer advertised in the newspaper it hasn't been for a couple years but it is advertised online at that website there and so once that is approved then i will submit that to the dlgs so that it can be advertised on that website for a while okay i have a motion in a second to approve the advertising of the form of free in gateway i'll try moving on to personnel under resignation we have cody mcclure junior high golf coach and stephanie selleck secretary cody was at northfield and stephanie's at southwood employment rebecca macy paraprofessional at metro north elementary sarah gaylord paraprofessional southwood elementary kristin pegg junior high volleyball coach at northfield high school melissa spann junior high volleyball coach at northfield cheyenne ruff paraprofessional at metro north elementary tiffany livesay elementary volleyball coach sharp creek elementary jessica freeman secretary at south of high school abby denney elementary volleyball coach southwood elementary having met amy matthews elementary volleyball coach at southwood elementary and then under leave number 126 and 127 and you see the approximate leave when they begin and when they return i move to approve the hr report second second to approve hr all in favor say aye apartment career center report yeah we had a short meeting the other day schools got off to a good start they said uh yes 640 650 students that's up about 40 to 50 from last year which is great and they're meeting with some architects and we're going through the building so that's still on the slate hopefully they'll figure something out all right yeah i just want to say again this is the 11th day of school and just continuing to witness um all of the staff working very hard um and also still dealing with the situation with the pandemic and so we work with a lot of great people that are very dedicated to what they're doing so we have student learning every day so just appreciate all of them to continue to do what they're doing because it is taking a lot of time and extra effort to be able to get all that accomplished all right mr craig is not here does anybody have anything in his under new business public hearing or formal bargaining what we're going to do here at this point is that since september we are going to be doing formal marketing with our teachers and so at this point we are required by a law to have a hearing uh on that bargaining by the teacher contracts so i'm going to open the floor for anybody that might have anything to say about future contracts okay not hearing any we're going to adjourn that normal bargaining meeting uh moving on to the recommendation to approve the vault meal price change due to ido school nutrition yeah so we did this this summer and then the friday after school start we got a memo from the department of education on the nutrition side that said our adult meals need to be increased since school schools that do the sso program which means we're doing that program that's the seamless option so that we provide free meals to our students the adult meals cannot be cheaper than the reimbursement rate of the free meals and so that means we have to increase our adult prices to meet that guideline and so the requirement is for adult meal prices to be at four dollars and sixty cents what did we say four dollars cheers [Music] watch it in a second to approve the state's mandate to remove the school prices for adults say hi i like to mention that when i first started teaching it was 35 cents i don't know if you get a milk for that some people claim that that was before paved roads and electricity at least before paying practice okay we're going to move on to the junior senior high school improvement plans and i just want to mention that uh principals here tonight just to share briefly very briefly their their school improvement plans not a lot of changes from last year and obviously you know that the testing has changed a lot over the years as far as having testing and not counting and things like that so um they will be very very brief in this you have had that since friday to review it to ask you know 100 questions if you want but they're going to be very brief so they can entertain all the questions that you have so we'll start um in alphabetical order with schools so it will be mr snyder first all right the main thing in northfield just we appreciate the technology but one thing i noticed my first year over there last year is we just need to get back to some things that work which is like i noticed during our norse time there's a lot of junior hires on the phones they weren't reading books they weren't using the time we don't have time to waste obviously with the pandemic they're in and out we just need to make sure we're using the time so looking at ilearn data when it came back in i don't like ilearn i don't think it's that great of a test but it is a baseline for us our language art scores weren't good enough there were some that were at state level some a tad bit below but typically i think northfield should be at or above the state average all the time so that's the goal that i've been talking with teachers about and to do that we brought back a program called reading counts that we didn't have last year encourages kids to to get books and read a lot every junior high student's been to the library got books when i go by now during our norse times which is the point of norse time is to give kids a chance the high school kids if they're not doing well in a class it's time during the day to go to that teacher and get extra help but if they don't have anything to do and a lot of kids have their work done and they need to be reading my belief is and i think a lot of the staff is you don't get good at anything that you never do if we're not reading at school and writing at school and doing math at school we're not going to get better at it if we're just texting on our phones so we're putting that up we're getting back to some old school stuff so that's basically in a nutshell we love the technology we use it to keep connected with kids and communicate with parents and all that but if we're going to get back to reading writing and math and i mean reading and writing and math in all content areas it's not just the reading writing and math teachers job the english and math it's teach them how to read in history class how to look at primary sources how to get evidence on what's going on teach them in science how to read that science and get information from it and that's why we're working on getting some new materials for those classes but it's just kids got to be doing that and that's what we focus on at northfield just to use everything we have and use the time we have with the kids to teach them how to get back to those basics and get better in those areas with what we currently are especially since we've lost so much time over the last year and a half two years any questions for mr snyder i appreciate that today thank you right alphabetical order okay we continue to look at um our goals uh i learned math and english the state average percent of the eighth grade uh and on that one test we continue to work on our graduation rate to keep that at 97 or above and also work on our attendance rate with a 97 percent order bond to to work or fulfill those goals this year last year we looked a lot at our atlas which generated a failing rate report every couple of weeks or so and what we noticed from that data is that the rates of failing grades were larger than what they had been in the past and so to ameliorate that situation we've changed our bit committee our behavior innovation team computer looked at behavioral concerns academic in terms of students to a grade-level team format where teachers who primarily teach seventh and eighth grade ninth and tenth grade and eleventh and twelfth grade are going to meet on a monthly basis to review data to look at kids behavior their academics and so hopefully that's going to provide some more quickness and responses more collaboration amongst those teachers and awareness of how those kids are doing in various classes so that's in a nutshell what we're working on any questions there all right i didn't get all the way through i was trying to time it out that i would give her that's going to be a little more difficult and uh mr mcdivots likes our focus at white's is to just to continue to work to find ways to help our students graduate without a waiver we are certainly making progress on that we have work to do with the new graduation pathways diploma there's a part of that diploma just because the nature of the where our kids are at are really going to struggle to find a way to check all the boxes of that department so really our primary focus and we've looked at creating a local creative pathway which i assume mr keifer shared with you but did not get approved but we're not we're going to continue to look at that as an option we're looking at a potential partnership with the virtual school that may be able to do some uh connection with us uh when our kids leave campus to pull in some some capability for them to check box three of that graduation department with a place of elder crossing so we're looking over that but the big thing we're doing at school uh with our with our staff is implementing a student conferencing model or teacher's conference with our students one time a week just to listen to them about how things are going what their struggles what sort of goals they want to set just to help make sure we're keeping kids focused on and on the track of what they can do and so we hopefully keep them from getting frustrated on what they feel like they can't do so we would love to get our graduation rate to 67 just mention that since we have an audience and obviously an audience online too i don't know how many besides my mother but when we talk about that we have to always remember um the students that come to us from all over the state of indiana and typically an average day of about six months a lot of them come uh what we used to call i don't know how much we didn't start this but uh the transcript looks like swiss cheese there are a lot of holes in it and sometimes it's just a big hole because there might not be any credits and they might be a sophomore junior senior and in six months you can't necessarily get all that time back to be able for them to graduate so it's one thing that we continue to talk and even to the media when it comes out because typically that will come out as a district graduation rate and so i had to always talk to them about splitting that up into the different schools because it's a lot different situation but they do great work there working hard and uh i appreciate what they're doing there too so i just want to mention that again just because some people just don't understand that whole situation so any questions okay i'm going to slide through if you guys want to read those later i'll let you have them but there's a lot more slide throughs how long is it like 130 pages so second okay we'll show you the second to accept the school improvement plans all of them say that now we'll move on to finish business which we haven't and then we'll move on to board policy the second reading and vote for foreign policy 1220 electronic participation by board members in a board meeting and president daisy i did not receive any more comments or questions for the rest of the board so i would ask for you to approve this new policy one motion recruiter for policy 1220 electronic participation of board members [Music] regarding electronic participation before the university meetings on so i have one question i guess and i didn't know since i was gonna be here anyways i thought i'd bring it up um northfield hosts their cross-country annual cross country invitational this saturday at the field of dreams and as a part of the course um dr mccann has graciously allowed us to use his trail over the years and so i met with him on sunday and picked up the key and he had just had a conversation with mr france now regarding an indemnification letter for us using his property for the meet is anybody aware of that this is my first time getting it i don't know if that's what i needed to talk to the ad or if i needed to get in front in touch with mr france for that but apparently it's something that's been done in years past do you know anything about that no okay school had to provide some kind of insurance for protection from using his woods or his property yeah his property i probably first went through the athletic director of north carolina i would imagine well okay so to start with like i said i was just going to be here anyways and durham could come and i thought i would just ask if anybody here knew anything about it okay i'll go to josh okay so it was something dr mccann asked of me and i said i'd be here i'd take care of them yeah it's a saturday so okay i'll talk to josh in the morning and then we'll reach board members
