>> Got it. So, >> um, >> Madam Chair, the one the one section within that with number 11 that kind of has been pulled out and put back in a few times only because it speaks to zoning requirements for parking. I I don't know if you want to make note of the ZBA relief. I know that's a separate board, but without it, it kind of makes it look like you're approving the size of spaces when that that was granted by another board. So I obviously leave it to your discretion, but I know it's come been put in and taken out a few times and just wanted to mention it one last time. >> Yeah, I mean I guess we can put that in because it is relevant and is in the report. Um, so we could put that as um it it could just be a note I guess at the end of at the end of this one because it relates to spaces that um parking space size of 9 by 18 was previously approved by the ZBA.
Four to four tie ballgame after a top of the sixth where there were no runs on no hits and one runner left on base, uh by the Wayland Warriors. I wonder if this is the last inning. Well, I you know, it's There's enough light right here that we could probably go a full seven. Cuz the uh outfield lights haven't come on. The field The lights on the turf field have come on, but these lights have not come on. So, this is a huge inning regardless for the Clockers. With Nicole Eustace [clears throat] leading off, Eustace is 1 for 3 on the day with an infield single to short in the fourth. Uh she grounded out to the pitcher in the second and she struck out in the first. Great to see her lead off here and set the table for Ava Vendetti and the rest of that Clocker lineup.
I I think I think Jasmine did have something like that in there. Um >> Matt, you're right. It was there. I thought I saw it. I had it noted out. Now it's missing again. So yes, it seems to have disappeared again. Yes. So maybe we put that just in in that section with parking spaces. It could be parking spaces. Parking spaces sized 9 by 18 were previously approved by the ZBA. I think they called it variance. The parking There you go. Perfect. Okay. So then the next portion of that um I have as parking comma plantings. So this would be a new this would be a new bullet point. So, parking comm, plantings and then the sentence is that I have is the board waves the requirement for an additional four trees at the parking area given the number of surrounding trees because that's what we were talking about last time and it's like well where are we going to cram these things.
Let's see >> And he did a good right here, right? You got your top of the order Bottom of the sixth is what you want. And Eustace ground ball to third. She's hustling. She is out at first on a nice play. Again, that's Caitlyn DeJulia. She She's been probably the star of the day for the Wayland Warriors so far today. Eustace grounds out five to three. Unfortunate start to the sixth inning as Vendetti steps to the plate looking for her first hit of the day. Uh Ava Vendetti fouls one off to go down 0-1. Nice if Ava can get on to give Bella Domestico a chance for an RBI. All right, goodbye. Ava takes a ball, one and one. Wind is picking up a little bit again. Becket has now thrown 114 pitches. Wow. So, she She's probably getting a little bit tired. AND HIT OH.
I I think we we we kind of decided that we have plenty >> given >> I just said I said um was it the fourth G GCG report? I don't remember. I just said as as Oh, okay. For for an additional trees. Um I just said given the number of surrounding trees or the given the number of trees on the site on the early learning center side. >> Yeah. And so, um, >> Tisha, were you suggesting the number of new trees planted or were you suggesting number of trees that was already on the early learning center? Because those four trees were very specific to the heat island issue on the ELC side of the project. I I think we were talking about the ones surrounding the site that there were so many trees surrounding the parking already. Um that from that that are part of the the trees to be um retained um I think was the discussion.
TOUGH LITTLE It's going to be Found the glove. a Right to Right to second. Didn't get enough of it. Soft liner to the second baseman. Soft liner. Forget about it. Put it. Soft liner to the second baseman to cause the second out of the inning, which brings up Bella Domestico, who is looking for her first hit of the day. Domestico has walked twice in flyout to right. Looking to help herself here, Domestico has pitched a heck of a game, but would like to see what she can get done at the plate right now in the bottom of the sixth. Bella. Almost takes out her catcher there on a hot shot foul ball to the right side. >> [snorts] >> She's down 0-2. Little high. Domestico takes another one, two and two. All right. Nice if she can fight back here. Gets down 0-2, fights back two and two.
So um and then I had uh just as the the bylaw reference for that is um in parentheses 5.4.4 for >> I'm sorry, Madam Chair. Can you repeat that last part? >> Um, so after at the end of that sentence, you know, I'm just giving the um bylaw reference. I just have in parenthesis 5.4.4 that and that's been kind of consistent how I was doing these. Um, so, um, and if you can just put the word area after parking, the board waves the requirement for an additional four trees in the parking area. Yeah. Um, does it need to be more descriptive than that? I mean, it was referring to a GCG um, it was referring to a GCG comment. Um did did you want to put in the early learning center? We could put in the >> or as well you could or say number of existing trees plus the new plantings.
Really need to reach base here to keep this inning alive. Strike three. Gets past the catcher. She's going to reach on a dropped third strike. All right, Caroline. Maybe get a I think there'll be a pinch runner for Bella here, too. Haley comes out. Yep. So, Haley Buterman in to run for Bella Domestico brings Caroline Kyra up to the plate. Kyra is 1 for 2 on the day. She has been on base three times, though. Uh had a single in the fifth, which led to a run, and she reached on an error in the third and was hit by a pitch in the first. Up in a big spot here with two outs in the top bottom of the sixth. Kyra big swing. Goes down 0-1 here. Wait for it. Kyra takes one outside. Good Good running by Haley. Takes the base. Good aggressive running.
I think they had they had there was a recommendation that they are planting more trees than what they are bringing down. >> Okay. So given the number of new tree given the number of new and existing trees. >> Yeah. >> Okay. All right. Then I am going on to um where it says dimensions landscape setback. It's another one of the bullet points. Um, and this is where um, Jasmine, you had entered, you had entered on that bottom one and grants a special permit. So, we need the same verbiage under dimensions landscape setback. So, the board approves and grants a special permit, right? Because that's the other um that's the other uh change there. So, and under under the uh um dimensions building height, I I me I talked about that there's a twotory facade on Memorial Drive and a threetory facade on the back. That that that's what's happening, right?
One and one. Now we got a runner in scoring position for Kyra, but nice if she can follow up with a double here. Kyra takes two and one. Don't You want to be aggressive here, but you don't want to be over aggressive. That'd be a true pass. Don't swing at a bad pitch here. Caroline's a good hitter. All she needs to do is make some contact. And she hits a long fly ball over THE LEFT TO OH, UNFORTUNATELY, KYRA MAKES GOOD CONTACT. Makes good contact, does not find a gap. >> Center fielder makes a nice play. And that one is going to end the inning. Unfortunately, she just didn't get it far enough. A good piece of hitting, but right at that center fielder. Herder was well positioned, too. I mean, it was right there. She shifted over just a few steps and it was right under She got under it, so.
Because somewhere in our meeting minutes, it said three on the front and four on the back. And I'm like, I don't think that's right, but I think it was on the meeting minutes incorrectly. Two and three. >> Two and three. Got it. Okay. All right, then I'm done on that page. Does anyone else have anything on that page? >> Nope. Um, I wanted to on number two, I'm done now. I'm down to design plan review criteria. We don't typically have this in, but since we um since we were really taking the place of the design review committee, um it was kind of important to have it in. And for number two, I wanted these are my own words that I'm changing here. Um wait a minute. No, sorry. Where am I? I'm a design plan review criteria number two that starts out building orientation. Okay.
>> Unfortunately, we get no runs in that sixth inning with the top of the order up, uh which puts some pressure here on Bella Domestico It does. heading into the top of the seventh. So, no runs on no hits, and it's still four to four. A solid bid by Kyra there, who just flied out to the center fielder. And uh we We've got ourselves a ballgame here, Wayman, and I'm Again, runners left in scoring position. That's the ninth runner left on base by the Clockers today. >> That's a tough stat. They just have not had timely hits. Great. That's a tough stat. How many pitches is Bella at at this point? Is she in triple digits yet? So, so Bella uh Bella has thrown 112 pitches, 67 for strikes. She's faced 28 batters at this point. >> Okay. Um and she's got two, three, and four coming up.
So, number two here. Oh, the last um in the last couple lines of that it says though design is still at an early stage. And I was just going to change that to say though design is still in process because I don't think it's that early of a stage. So, um though design, yeah, it's in the next to last line of that paragraph. though designed is still I was just going to say a in process give it some leeway there and then I am done until we hit that site alteration special permit criteria. Yeah. So all this I think is good. So this um Jasmine, I wasn't sure. I think you're saying that we need some kind of statement here, but these aren't criteria. So that's why I didn't address them individually. So do we need some kind of statement? Um we kind of cover all these things in other in other text, >> right?
And they have they have Mhm. had some solid contact against her. Uh Carmelowitz uh doubled to center field in the third, who is two who she is 1 for 3 on the day. Sophia Beckett has struggled against her counterpart in the circle. She's 0 for 3 today. And Kelsey Kaufman um is 2 for 3 today with a double, a single, and a groundout to third. So, they do have some hot bats coming up here. 2 3 4 coming up in the top of the 7th here in Ashland at 4 to 4. This thing is coming down to the end, and let's hopefully see if the Clockers can hang on. Quite a game. Changeup, strike one. Good pitch, strike. Nice pitch. Nice start. Nice start to the top of the 7th for Domestico. Hot shot, foul ball. Right at the first base coach. Oh, two. Domestico gets ahead early against Carmela which would be nice to get her.
It just is what part of what they are applying for. It is part of their application. So, it's necessary to include it in part of their decision. You can, if you'd like, leave it just a paragraph underneath it that says, you know, this this was reviewed by the board or the board didn't find any, you know, no waiverss were requested under this or you can add a summary to it. But it was part of their application, so we should memorialize it in the decision as well. Yeah, I think I think your idea of just a like you said just a little summary um because like I said as opposed to the other ones which are listed as criteria that the board must consider. These are kind of the just a general um the purpose of the section. So, um, if we want, we can skip this and come back to it because it's something we could fill in because basically it's saying we have no issue with this and as per previously explained, we don't have any we kind of already talked about all of these things.
She has put her bat in the ball twice. Bella does have some really good mechanics. I mean, she's still pitching the same like she's still pitching like this is the 6th inning, 7th inning? 7th inning. This is it. >> Yeah. This is it. Right now, go after this batter right here. Oh, just got a piece of it. Just got a piece of it. Yep, she held on and waited on that changeup. Domestico tried to fool her, but she hung on and fouled it off. Could be good good piece of hitting there. I shouldn't say it's a piece of hitting, but a good swing to stay alive by Carmela Watts. Uh cuz that's a that's a tough pitch by Domestico. >> [screaming] >> And she gets her looking. And rings her up. A fantastic pitch. Another strikeout for Bella Domestico. Great way to start the the top of the 7th.
Um, and I'm not sure how to to word that right now, but I'm happy to either come back to it or just have a couple simple sentences that we'll deal with later unless anyone feels poetically inspired. >> No, it feels like it is just repeating itself too many times, you know. >> Yeah. So I think it's just a sentence or two saying that we >> we don't have anything here but if we can come back to it or >> yeah we just can acknowledge the section but I don't need to repeat the >> same information. So, leave the red in there for now, um, Jasmine, but we'll just come back to it and and write just a couple sentences that say we're okay with with with that um with the uh site alteration special permit. So, that then puts us on conditions. So Trisha when we're doing that that B1 that limit land clearing alteration I don't know how that really works with that shity bond and it how is that so I guess we should wait for legal counsel to weigh in >> um for for >> the be limit land clearing and alteration of prior to site plan preliminary plan or definitive plan approval.
Bella gets her looking. >> Now, she's going to face >> this is a dangerous hitter. Sophia Beckett who has struck out twice today. Beckett and Kaufman, right? Really want to see if you can get Beckett here to not have anybody on base for Kaufman. >> Great. Nice off-speed another off-speed pitch. Domestico has that off-speed pitch working right now. Look at the batter. Look at the batter. Looking fastball all the way. Good time now to throw that Perfect pitch. Perfect pitch. Don't know if you want to go two off-speed in a row. One and one is the count. Domestico to Beckett. She toes and throws. Low, a little low. Just a little low. Not a bad spot though. I like that spot for Bella. She can just pick it up just an inch or so. Two and one, Sophia Beckett. That's a hot shot to Currier.
Does it just mean that till you get a site plan approved, you can't do you can't clear the land? Is that what it all means? >> Well, the preliminary plan and the definitive plan, I think those have to do with um subdivisions. No. So in our case it would be site plan approval. Wouldn't you say Jasmine? The a preliminary plan and definitive plan are part of um subdivision terminology. So ours would just be site plan. >> All right. >> So you take that those two off. Is that what we're saying? >> Are you looking? >> I would suggest they stay in, but they're just not applicable. Again, it's right from the bylaw, so I don't think you want to be cutting and pasting those sections. It's just not applicable to those definitive and preliminary plan. >> Yeah. I mean, what I'm saying for this section is that we don't need to quote the bylaw here because there's no criteria here.
Currier up, fires to Kazanjian. 6 to 3 in the bottom. Nice play. Quinn to Ruby for the out. Two outs in the top of the 7th. Bringing up to the plate Wayland's best hitter today, Kelsey Kaufman, who is two for three on the day. Like I said, that's a big play to not have anyone on base for her. Absolutely. Want to get Kaufman here because you do have Calabro and DeGiulia up after who have also hit the ball well today. So, this is a big at bat for Bella who falls behind 1 and 0 to start. Two outs, top of the 7th, tie ball game. Number four hitter. Fouls one off, one and one. Bella's attacking. This is telling us a lot about this team, two women. Let's see what they can do, right? Young pitcher Yeah. in a tough spot right now, showing grit.
