everything else. Um, everything else when you actually look at the bylaw, it says that the planning board is required to look at this and those those sections also have this a purpose of the section. Um, so this is different. This has a purpose of the section, but it doesn't it doesn't ever say I don't think that the planning board is required to consider blah blah blah and blah blah blah. And that's why we have the sections written the way we h we have them when the when the bylaw specifically asks us to consider the criteria as written. So that's what we do in this case. I think um we can have a we can take out all of this red again. I I just don't think I can have the mindset to do it at the moment and and put in a few sentences saying maybe I can't.
Got to be proud of her performance. >> Oh, she's she's she's hunkering down and pulling from whatever down in the depths. Nice easy play to Colette. Nice play. 4 to 3 Got it. And now is the time >> That's it. Let's go. >> Now is the time for the Clockers to show us what they can do. One run. They have no runs here off of no hits, no errors, a clean inning for Bella. Nobody reaches base. We're going into the bottom of the 7th. Tie ball game. This is the This is the kind of game that sets the tone for the rest of your season. What are you going to do? Tied 4 to 4 going to the bottom of the 7th with 5 6 7 coming to the plate and the chance to win one early and set the tone for the rest of the year on a really positive note.
the planning board has considered um will pull out some words. Yeah. Yeah. >> Right. And feel that the site alteration special permit um is appropriate in this situation, you know, something like that. >> And just name those three or four and keep it. >> That's right. >> Categories we are choosing to agree with. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Yeah. So, I'm hoping I don't I'm just afraid of getting stuck on that versus getting through and coming back to it. So, >> no. Fair enough. Sorry. >> Okay. No, no, no. I think that that's a good comments. So, okay. So, let's get through the conditions. Um, so nonprofit educational use is where is where we landed or where most fitting it's approve. It's allowed under the use. So it seems to fit to me. Seems fine. Um for number two I was again um noting um elevations and res elevations and re and renderings shown in the 11625.
I agree. I agree, Mike. This is it. We got Mike Kotch over here. >> [laughter] >> Mike is Mike is one of our favorite members of the peanut gallery. >> [laughter] >> He's going to probably try to sit in there and do a game with us at some point as well. Mike Kotch, a former college baseball player. Um so, he certainly knows the game. Uh unfortunately, he wasn't a great hitter when he played. Um so, they they didn't give him a lot of time at Bentley, but uh Mike Mike is a a wonderful fan for us here uh at Hunt Field. Of all the Kotches, he's probably my least favorite. >> [laughter] >> Um His His daughter, Taylor, is my favorite, and then April and his mom are are tied for second. >> So, so April and mom are tied for second. Mike is a distant fourth.
Um question Trisha. >> We we >> I think I don't think the last time when the renderings were presented that they were set in stone. They were still work in progress. Would this limit them or tie the applicant to those renderings that were presented in November? I think it's just that like the the things say both B and C and I think in C I think we should add the AF for plans renderings or plans elevations and reports but both of those documents say substantial conformity substantial conformance so not um it's not 100% and there's always allowing for wiggle room in there. Um, but I've changed that are made, you know, by the um that seem out of sub substantial conformance, but you know, um, with the opinion by the opinion of the building inspector, then then it would come back. >> Yeah. Because I think for this project the still material elevations were still in flux.
Solid solid ranking right there. All right, Ruby Kazanjian is going to lead us off here, Wayman. What do you think? I mean, you know, get on base, right? So, she's been able to get on base today. So, let's let's uh let's get it going, Ruby. Let's get it going. Ruby is one for two today. Actually, I'm sorry. Ruby is two for three today. Ruby is two for three with a single, a double, and a groundout. And Soft liner to first by Kazanjian to lead off the bottom of the 7th. Lorelei Colette comes to the plate. Lorelei is Good hit. Good hit. Good hit to center. Nice ground ball up the middle. Lorelei Colette gets on base. Good rip. All right, Lorelei Colette gets them going. Gets a base runner up. All right, here we go, Taylor. Taylor Kotch coming to the plate here. Kotch has two walks and a strikeout today, looking to reach base for the third time.
They were still kind of depending on how the funding is materiality would have changed. Right? That's what I from the last time. So um in addition to the building permit, would this group come back to us for the rendering blessing materiality and so on so forth. >> That that is a condition we had. Um Jasmine Anna says she's trying to get in Um yeah, that is a condition that we had talked about about how to how to have give them leeway to finish the project and to be able to come back and say, "Hey, we had to change a bunch of things >> into funding or budgeting." Um >> yeah, my question is because this particular one is saying that they have to keep the copy of it of that approved rendering on 116 on site. Um so I'm I'm just curious if they go about changing things, are we going to hold them to that particular rendering set?
>> Quinn on deck. Here's we want Lorelei to be aggressive on the base. If there's a pass ball, get to second. Kotch shows bunt. Ooh, she's going. Safe. Colette steals. >> Safe. Okay, get a runner in scoring position here. Kotch takes a strike, but more importantly, we got a stolen base by Colette who's now in scoring position with Taylor Kotch up to plate down 0 and >> [screaming] >> in the bottom of the 7th. >> Drop one in. Let's go. Ooh. 0 2. Bat on ball. This is one of those tough pressure situations for Taylor here. 0 2, runner in scoring position. Just want to put your bat in the ball. Oh. Safe. She's safe. There was a dropped third strike. >> third strike. That's a dropped third strike. >> Drop the third strike. So, so we're going to have a conversation here. We have a dropped third strike.
We are kind of approving the massing of the project, right? we are proving the heights of the building. I think that's something that we are okay with. But I'm just curious, do we take that rendering section off and just leave it with the site plan for, >> you know, if you go down to the next one, C, right? And you can see at the end of that um in no event shall any of the following be permitted without organ authorization from the board at a public meeting. Blah blah blah. Talks about size, talks about drainage. Um um and then um sorry, I'm just reading through those. Nice. I see one little one little thing in it. But we could add number six or five fivei that says um substantial changes to materials or to materials in form or something like that. Would that cover? >> Yeah.
Kotch ran to first, was clearly safe. I don't think the umpires knew what was going on. The base umpire never moved towards first. First base was not occupied. That's a dropped third strike. She That's Taylor should be awarded first. >> That is a dropped third strike, and she reached first base safely. >> Safe. That's really unfortunate. So, that's too bad. Runner now is on second. Quinn Herder is up to the plate with two outs. Unfortunately, they don't get them all right, and that one is a tough one to take. A coach Sasso has every right to be really upset about that. I think he caught Blue sleeping a little bit there. Uh first base was not occupied. >> Right. Dropped third strike. Heads-up play by Taylor to go to first. And unfortunately, now there are two outs. And Quinn is got a one and one count with a runner on second.
Was Anna able to uh get on? >> Yep. I'm right here. I see that you guys are on page um eight, I believe. >> Great. Yes, we're in the conditions. >> Yep. And I've read the changes or the original that Jasmine sent with red line up through that point. Um, and so at the right time, we can catch me up to the first seven pages if you guys change anything, but I'm up to speed. >> Um, yeah, we can go back through the blue when we're when we're done. Nothing I don't think anything earthshattering. But the one thing I noticed in there, um, is number three, installation of non-native or invasive plant species. And obviously we don't want to put any invasive plant species in there, but on most of our projects um we have um at least a minimum of 75% is non-native. You know, we I don't think we ever say 100%.
Big spot here for Quinn Herder. Good. Bases loaded. Go. Go. Go. Go. Go. Go. Go. Go. Go. Go. Go. Go. Go. Go. She [screaming] scores. WE GOT A WALK-OFF WIN FOR THE CLOCKERS. QUINN HERDER GETS HER HIT, and the Clockers take the win on a 5 to 4 walk-off hit by Quinn Herder in the bottom of the 7th. This game is over. QUINN HERDER WITH THE PLAY of the day. Bases a ground ball to the left side. She ends up the day with a huge RBI. Lorelei with a big turn at third. Running all the way from second. This is the kind of game that can set the tone for the rest of the season. Congratulations to the Clockers who are And two and one in the season, huge hit by Quinn Herder. Wayman, while we wrap this up, um let's chat a little bit about Bella Domestico.
Um so, um I wanted to give that is is that you guys' recollection? Um >> I thought 75% is native. Yes, that um I don't know what I said. Yeah, that um a minimum of 75% is native. Um but I don't think we ever say that you can't install any non-native. Yeah. >> Looking at uh >> So, do you just want that removed or do you want to reward it or >> um I'm just trying to see what we've done before here. If I can find an example. Yeah. Um, here's a a line. This is from 9 9 to 49 Homer. All planting materials are non-n native species. Not sorry, non-invasive species. and 70% of the planting planting material is native species as detailed on the landscape plan. Um, drought tolerant shrubs and perennials are to be provided across the site to minimize irrigation watering on the site.
Oh, what an incredible incredible performance today. >> What a fantastic performance by Bella uh to end the day. Bella Bella only allowed uh two four six hits on the day, four runs, uh and you know, not not all of them are earned, only three earned runs, but most importantly, 11 strikeouts for the freshman. 11 strikeouts for the freshman, and even more impressive than 11 strikeouts is the fact that 1 2 3 4 5 >> Looking. 6 7 8 9 10 of the 11 strikeouts caught the Warriors looking, which means she was dealing today. She had She had them off She had them off balance. They didn't know what was coming, and so she um kudos to her. Kudos to her is right, and a really solid performance overall by Bella Domestico at the at the on in the circle. Let's talk about some quick stats.
So maybe maybe we just take that verbiage out. Um, I mean I think I think we could take out all of I mean we'd have to reumber all these, but I think we could take out this whole line about plant species. Um maybe put the substantial changes to materials and form in number three and address the address the plants later on because I think they have their own. >> Yeah, there is also J which talks about 75% of all landscaping plantings shall be native species. >> Yeah. Let's let's put my new thing in number three and we'll um >> It's loading. Hold on. It's >> okay. And then we'll deal with the uh plants in its own condition below. I hate it when it does that when the when the uh formatting gets screwed up. I can never fix it properly. >> I'll change the formatting later if we can move on.
Nico Eustace is one for four on the day. Uh Ava Vendetti uh and Bella, unfortunately, are both hitless. Caroline Kyrou one for three. Ruby Kazarian two for four with an RBI. And Lorelei Colletti two for four with an RBI. A huge hit in the bottom of the seventh and scores the game-winning run. Taylor Cotch over two. Quinn Herder one for four on the day, but the most important hit of the game, the walk-off single to end it as she knocks in Colletti who scores from second, and Harley Cashin was over two. On the day, the Clockers had seven hits for their five runs. They did strike out nine times. They're going to certainly want to take a look at that. What would be great is if we can potentially uh get one of our players to come over here and give us a a quick chat.
>> I I totally get it. So um and then um so then there's a few conditions um few conditions noted by GCG about the f about the future expansion and the maint maintenance shed that there's no drawings for those that those would come back. Um, and and can I just ask a question about that? When we if and when we go to build that shed, what does that look like? We just come before you and present that piece and it gets approved within the context of this site plan. Is that kind of Yeah. >> It's just that piece. >> Got it. Okay, great. >> Yeah. Um just given that there's you're kind of saying something's going there but there's nothing in the drawings that say >> Totally. Yeah. Yeah. We we got to figure that out. I just want to understand the process. So that sounds good.
We'd love to see if we can talk to Bella uh a little bit about her performance, but I think Coach Sasso is going to have them, so I'm not sure if we'll have the time to do that. Uh Wayman, it's been a joy doing this with you. >> This was amazing, Mike. Lot of fun. >> Incredible. We caught a We certainly caught a great one. I appreciate you taking the time out of your busy schedule. >> This was much fun, so much fun. Glad you And and and and these players, I mean, I think they're Hopefully, this is something to build on. And um yeah, I mean, looking forward to a great season with these girls, and so um Yeah, I More More of the same. I've been saying it for a couple of years now, the future is really bright for this program. They've They've They have been able to take advantage of a new coach who's got tremendous energy and positivity.
>> Okay. So then um and then on J, who knows what it'll be J or I. The one about um the 75. I guess it's J or K. Yeah. So, that's the one um where I have this other little sentence that we typically use. Um I'm going to send it to Jasmine. Can I do that? And it can be either put in now or later. >> It hasn't come through yet. >> I just uh Okay, I just sent it. So, I kind of said it before, but I'll say it again. So it says all planting materials are non-invasive species and 70% of the planting material is native species as detailed on the landscaping plan. Drought tolerant shrubs and perennials are to be provided across the site to minimize irrigation watering on the site. It's not meant to imply and maybe so maybe we'll tweak it.
What What I see from him is positive energy, which has really been a great change for for this team, and you can feel it. You can feel a change in the dynamic of this ball club and the change in the aura. This is the kind of game in the last 2 years they probably aren't able to hold on. I I think they had only one error today, which which is a fantastic defensive performance, great pitching by the freshman. So, you know, obviously, a really timely hit there by Quinn Herder to to come back after a tough day. So, I I'm just I'm really proud of these girls, and they should be proud of themselves, and I think the future's going to be bright. No, absolutely. So, you know, kudos to to Coach Larry Sasso, uh assistant coach uh Pam Curtis, and he has three positional coaches to help out.
