Um we have completed 11 reorganizations that were effective as of July 1, 2025 or in the process of doing another 18 reorganizations of state offices this year. Fourth, regarding fiscal and performance data, um the Department of Education completed an executive compensation study last year. We have on the Board of Education uh established performance targets for the Department of Education that are incorporated in the superintendent's evaluation. And finally, we do an annual fiscal and compliance audit. So, we are proactive in looking at these issues identified in the resolution. Thank you. >> you. Office of the auditor. Insert a $5,000 cap for a single-family residence property. Adjust the AGI caps for single and head of household filers to be 175,000 for single filers and 262 $500 for head of household filers. Insert a sunset date of January 1, 2029. This allow the credit to be claimed in subsequent years if the taxpayer has already claimed a system for credit for systems installed on residential and non-residential properties. And uh amend to upon approval.
Uh, but you can't can't get into them. And then this will also rack or we're going to buy these little racks right here uh, for all the tables and chairs. And so, uh I see the boards' audit committee as being more of a conflict than it is for providing transparency and accountability. So, um I guess I'll take the statements in order. So, the first one is um when we look at data comparing the Hawaii Department of Education to other districts and to other states, um we are not top-heavy. Our percent spent on administration is less than our counterparts, our peer organizations. >> to other districts, you guys are not top-heavy. What districts What We're talking about the whole department. >> we look at the um national count the NCES data, the National Commission on Education of the States that compares information across the different states, we have less spent on administration than other um states, for example. And we have similar information about districts. So, we have more of our resources in terms of the budget um being spent at our for our schools.
