Now we have about 30 seconds before the second half starts. We can see Lewis Palmer's coming out right now. Rampart hasn't quite come out yet. Yeah, but we still have that 30 seconds. Now, Lampar has had three goals. One from Dominico Jordan, a sophomore, one from Liam Milton, a junior, and an own goal, unfortunately, by Lewis Palmer's own Charles Holland, number 13. It's quite unfortunate. Yeah, Lewis Palmer hauling onto the field there. Now, Rampart has been taking control in the middle third and attacking third. So, Lewis Palmer's defensive third, they've been taking control and in the middle third of this the entire field. But if Lewis Palmer can counterattack Rampart, that's might be where they have to go just get goals. But then if they do that, Rampart can easily counter on them because Rampart only plays three in the back. Well, four, but Rampart plays four in the back.
Yeah, but they have the two outsides as the two outsides who play really high wings. They're more of a wing back. Yeah, David Glazner's here. He is the goalkeeper for Rampart. He is hoping to keep a clean sheet. He has not kept a clean sheet yet this season. He has had two goals scored on him over two games a goal a game, but he has been a rocking goal for Rampart and uh as of this game has had an 80% save rate, which is excellent. Yeah. And so far, the whole program of Rampart is doing very well. Now, both of these teams have a 200 record. So, as of now, if the score stands, Louis Palmer will be coming out of here with a loss. Yeah. And that will mean that the Rampart JVC and varsity squads are still all undefeated as JV won their game today three to zero against Lewis Palmer's JV squad.
Now, Lewis Palmer has kickoff for the second half. Yeah, Lewis Palmer. Uh let's see if that locker room uh pep talk from the coach really made any difference and if they can come back with a higher intensity this half to bring it back. All right, half just started. We've got Lewis Palmer in their defensive already. We see some higher energy from Lewis Palmer. They play it up. Oh, David Peters just is there to take that pass or not necessarily pass but touch. He's got one on his back. Does a great job move to get past Jeremy McCabe. Dylan O'Neal has it. I mean, he can rocket it from the 25 30 yard because we saw him do that again. Shot. Great save by Adam or Aiden Mc Gonagle. Gonagle. Yes, I'm sure. Seems to me that he got a touch on that. And what an excellent save and excellent shot from Dave Peters as well.
Just tips it right over to the crowd. Rowdies are being not quiet but not loud. They are making some commotion. Yeah, they're just waiting for another goal or another uh other fancy footwork and stuff of that sort to get excited and the ball just passed through again. Oh, if Aiden had a better touch there, I believe he could have just one timed it. Yeah, just a miscommunication. Goes all the way back to James Goring who plays it right back up. I think he just did that to give his times or his defense some time to drop back cuz look, yeah, if he lost the ball there, it would have been a one-on-one to goal and he could have easily scored. But David Glazner is just a solid goalkeeper. Yeah, David Glazner wins most of his one by ones. He likes the sweeper keeper mentality of going out if he needs to and coming off his line right now.
Lewis Palmer has it on the left wing. They're coming up. They got plenty of space. Rampire's not closing as fast as they were in the first half. Oh, wide option. Lewis Palmer has it. They're not taking it. Vince just gets it. And now Liam Oh, fighting for it. Le Palmer still has it on the left wing. I think they're going to try and play their striker through, but if they step up fast enough and Vince was caught inside. Oh, cut back shot. David save. I do not believe that was a shot on target. I think that would have gone replay on that. I believe that would have gone wide, David. But it's a great job that David still went after it. It was going to the inside post there and David was just unsure. So, it was a great job by him just saving it.
And now here is Lewis Palmer's second corner kick of the game. It's played in and Oh, they got a head on it. Great save by David. Excellent save by David. I don't think they're going to call that a goal because it hit the field goal. Yeah, David Glazner tips it over the bar, but it hit the field goal po field goal post instead. So, it will be another corner on the opposite side of the field for Lewis Palmer. Now Lewis Palmer is exchanging some words with the ref. Yeah, Lewis Palmer was very close to scoring another one there. So, a great job by David Glazner just hitting it up. Yeah, Loose Palmer Palmer's bench is on their feet to get ready. That was a great save. Oh, seems like the will be on the same side. Maybe they're going to have some superstition going back, but Liam just heads it out and Smogen has it.

Apparently, nobody was communicating with him there on Rampart that he had a man behind. If not, he had Dylan O'Neal out wide to possibly score a goal there. Now, they throw it up line, but James Goring just easily clears it out to a boy. But it again, we just have a header fest. And now Lewis Palmer brings it down, but Liam just intercepts a pass. But then, man, I don't think either teams are really trying to possess this half. They're just kind of kicking it. Yeah, we're not seeing much from either. Great job by James using his body, but unfortunately another shot. Great save by Excellent save. Can we get an instant replay on that save by David Glazner?
Man, the myth, the legend, just like Scott Sterling. Look at that vertical. Reaching out and just grabbing it. Amazing. And now Rampar on the counterattack here. They shouldn't be saying Scott Sterling. They should be saving David Glazner. The Rampart Rowdy is getting a bit more excited here. It looks like they only have And it looks like Oh, shot. Oh, that's wide. Wide. Quite unfortunate. Oh, and that went in between the netting and a side goal. Oh, and it looks like we have two balls on the field. Unfortunately, miscommunication from the Ball Boys then. Who is that? It looks like it is Micah and Micah Simmons. And uh unfortunately we do not know that other ball boy but just some miscommunications from the both of them there and the referee just let the other ball slide. Yeah I believe that is Aiden. He also like oh Liam left a shot deflected with the rebound hits the field goal post.
Dang, that was unfortunate. Just Saman and Abuo are not getting over the ball on their volleys and they're just going over. Now we have a substitution for Lewis Palmer. Charles Holland coming in is he is the one I believe who had the own goal which is quite unfortunate. Yeah, David Peters was aiming for the far post and his foot was just in front for the block but just slided in between the legs of Adah McGonagal. Now Rampart has it down the right wing as a throw in, but it looks like Lewis Palmer once again. We're just heading it. This is enjoyable. All right, Lewis Palmer brings it down, but David Peters is right there. Oh, he's got three on. Plays it over to Vince. Vince has got some time. Plays it right back to David who's got more time. Plays Soggan. Oh, excellent flick. Ball back to Sogan.
He's going to cross it now. Rampart can get pretty deadly on crosses because they have a boyo and an excellent double scissors. That did not look and just the flex off of Lewis's palm. That will be a corner. Will be a corner. Oh, excellent move there by Samogan. That double scissors there to just burst past that player and then he exploded off of that move to get that cross and just was deflected by Lewis Palmer's defense. And they're going to play Vince Short. Vince Short played it. That was kind of a low ball. I I kind of see no reason why they pulled that back because I don't think Saman is left footed. I believe he's right footed. So, yeah. And Aboy is uh confident in the air. So if he could just get ahead on that might have been an easy goal. Yeah. Now James Gording has it in the defense.
He's got time. He switches it to Dylan O'Neal but that pass is intercepted or that cross was headed away. A misatch there with his chest. James Goring with has it. He has Aiden on the wing open and Cameron Bush now has it. Plays David Glazner to open them all up. Lewis Palmer is doing a better job this half of covering the wing. Now look at the Academy 20 symbol. They have Lewis Palmer has one man inside of it and then behind him nobody. See Dylan O'Neal is open in that 15 yard gap. Yeah. Yeah. If they can just if they can just play through ball here if he cuts central and does a square run they can find that option and was calling for it. Now, if Ao would have been maybe two steps back, I think he could have gotten ahead on that. Now, AO pressuring the ball. Tyler Pritchard, great move there. Fakes out Dylan O'Neal. Tries to flick it back like Rampart, but Rampart's the only people. Rampart's the only ones that can do that. Milton with the shot. And it's barely wide. That was maybe 6 in wide.
Wow. Very close shot there. And it's just Oh, and look at the ball boy. Ball boys getting frustrated. Oh, ball boys again making mistakes again. See, if we were at the higher level, that would be a fine for the team. Yeah, semi-pro and pro levels. That would have been a fine. And that would be what is it? A $500 fine, I believe. So, that would higher for professional level games especially. That would really That would be unfortunate. Yes. Looking for the right words to use there. Now Vince and they're going to call. I believe that next one Jeremy McCabe if he's not talked to will be getting a yellow cuz that is ref second or third foul sideline ref seems to have been talking with him a bit and uh 10 yards just like Jeremy Cab's number needs to be given for a free kick. And I don't believe I don't know if that's 10 yards, but Vince the ref pace it out. Oh, plays it right over the goalie. Oh, who is that? Just gets it and they play it up. Oh, they're countering. Oh, and they all miss the header. That is Wow, that was something that you don't see every day. Yeah, unfortunately. Dang a bit too. David Peters is asking for a foul. David Peters calling for it. That foul there. And Charles Holland who scored the own goal seems to be a bit mad and you can see why tensions seem to be high here for Lewis Palmer and Rampart as a lot of fouls haven't called.
Le Palmer is probably just getting frustrated because they can't really do anything with the ball. Rampart always has the ball. They're always going forward and when they do give up the ball to Lewis Palmer, they get it right back like ready. Dylan O'Neal one v one takes two of the cut back. It's two and it looks like being chased. Is he going to take the shot? Yep. Takes it and three points is good. But no, it's it's over the bar. Can we get an instant replay on that? And um I'm telling you, if Rampart could get half of the shots that they've had off target on target, they can probably be up by more. Yeah, cuz a lot of their shots are off target cuz LP Oh, that's a really dangerous ball by Smogen has it. Oh, a little too big of a touch. Yeah, but as we were speaking about before, uh Lewis Palmer's forcing them into difficult shot situations sometimes, so they're being a bit off target there.
Man, Vinces, shoots number eight. Cole Mooney, he's fighting for it and fortunately goes out for a Rampart throw in. And oh, this could be dangerous for Rampart. David Peters is pushing into it. Plays the Liam. Passes it back. Oh, and that misouch there. Fighting for it. David Peters is going to put it in. Dave Peters cross. Miscommunication by the goalie. And I think the goalie for the goalie wanted to control that with his hands. McDonald should have called his center back off because if he did, I believe that they could have been not where they are right now. Maybe they could have possession of the ball. They could have possession and be counterattacking off of that cuz as of right now in this half, I believe Rampart has 80 plus possession. Yeah, Rampart has looking for the ball. Oh, miscommunication by a boyo and looking for the Dave Peters just run straight past it.
So, oh, Vince has it. What a great touch. He's going to use those body fakes. He's got time. He's looking for Dylan O'Neal on the opposite side, but that is right to tie or right to the center backs or CDMs of Loose Palmer. A boy keeps it in. Oh, boy with the nutmeg. Oh, and Dylan O'Neal is going across. That does a great job by bit of fanciness there. Ramar really likes beating the one-on- ones in fashion. They don't like just musling them or anything. They like to do these intricate moves that most players don't even know of. Looks like a goalkeeper for varsity is being warmed up for Lewis Palmer. Number 22, Jake Babbot is being warmed up. He might go on for Aiden McGonagal here. He's being warmed up by number 21 Trey McAlla here. But that's one of the unfortunate things just like in the 1980 Miracle and Ice game when the Soviet Union pulled out their number one goalie.
That is kind of the reason they lost and it's a possibility that McDonald is keeping them in. Yeah, Lis Palmer seems to be doing the opposite mentality and trying to maybe push forward. Maybe uh Jake Baba has a stronger foot or looks for counterattacks faster. So, they're just trying to maybe diversify their squad. Now, Rampart is just picking off the passes in the middle from Lewis Palmer. Lewis Palmer needs to clean that up because that's what's giving Rampart the really high possession. And they're going to call a foul. Um, and number 13, uh, of Lewis Palmer, Charles Holland, seems to be in disbelief by the ref's decision. Yeah, that was a foul by Andrew Merrill. Yeah, another free kick for That's his first foul of the game. I don't believe he tried to do that purposefully. I think number 10 for Lewis Palmer. Jeremy McCabe is getting ready to sub on.
All right, Dylan O'Neal's taking the free kick. You've got four people in the box rampart. Matt is staying at the top running in. And look if you see how J one looks like they have a trash option. I believe it is Aiden. Oh, ball played in. It hops over everybody. And it's in. Oh, they all just distracted the goalie. Can we have an instant replay? And it goes past all of them and looks like it's a goal for Dylan O'Neal. And Dylan O'Neal goes right to Kyle Bergmire, one of his best friends. Bounces in between a boyo and uh what it looks like I believe James Goring. And it just slips through and it just goes over uh in McGonagal's head. Some poor communication by Lewis Palmer's goalie and their backs. Unfortunately, he couldn't see the ball there because it was blocked off by both Liam and uh not Liam.
