We are kind of working in phases. This is a new initiative so we're going to build as we go. Um we understand that Rome was not built in a day. So, the right now we're at the stage of just building the framework. Um and this phase pretty much is just us finalizing the sponsorship packages, finalizing some of the partnership guidelines. Um we want to make sure that we have an internal alignment so we're trying to make sure that all internal stakeholders are aware of what's happening so we've started some of those conversations. Um and then we want to make sure that we are identifying and prioritizing some of our community I don't want to say organizations that have already been present, but we want to make sure that they are I guess like I said, prioritize. We want to prioritize those community organizations that have already been involved with the school district.
>> [clears throat] >> So, looking at the plan performance and the market condition cost competitive- competitiveness, SEBA does recommend that we just move forward with the renewal as with the current plan designs. Um you can see that renewal increases are favorable more than what we're seeing outside of the marketplace or outside of a trust. We're seeing in the mid-teens to the mid-20s. Um I currently have a district that's not in a trust, pretty much your guys' size. They renewed outside of a trust with a 10 and 1/2 after several negotiations. Um we're able to get that. Um other districts that we're seeing just in general groups your size renewals right now are ranging anywhere from the mid-teens, so about 17 up to 26% is what I'm working on right now. So, it is kind of a challenging year. Um so, we recommend that you renew on your current plan utilizing the district um ASBA to help keep your position in line with your employees' goals.
So you can build these kids that especially those that want to do this as a professional career in the future. There's also a day of technical training which I am very excited about. Um because again I am largely a a student of YouTube with a really big imagination. Most of what I do I think of at 2 o'clock in the morning. And so I'm very excited to be able to go and learn from the best in the business and hopefully bring that back to Blige so we can be the best in the state. Um as you know we've been competing in the ASU Gamage High School Musical Theater Awards the last couple of years. We've been top five in state for the two years that we've been competing and um we will find out Friday if we are final finalists in what categories this year.
So, that's something that's going to be huge. Um We also want to make sure that we're hosting at least one community event um annually and I want to acknowledge that the high school, which you guys have the correspondence in front of you, is hosting an event on May 2nd. So, thanks to the shared vision and the initiative of our um high school principal and our community um business associate, I can't remember his technical title, I'm sorry, Kevin Lentz. Um they had already kind of started the groundwork of thinking of something of this nature so we just kind of worked together and so on May 2nd we are having a community event at the high school. So, um and so as these phases as you can see on the board, as they build, we will continue to grow and develop and um make this something great.
Before I move to your ancillary lines, do you have any questions regarding ASBA? Or any of your medical? Okay. Okay. Sylvia? I was just kind of curious on your Teledoc stuff. It you know, of course it is free of usage, but do you have a number of how many people use it? Um it was very low. It went Darlene, last time it was very low, huh? Yeah, unfortunately it is. We do at open enrollment meetings, we do stress to the employees that they could use it. However, that the utilization there is very low. Mhm. Okay. I think most of members would just rather go in person. Oh, I see. Then than Teladoc. But, the option is there and we do make sure that the employees know the option is there. We do explain to them that, you know, they can have them they'll call in your prescription drug.
So I'm hoping that we can really push and uh we won four out of five technical categories last year in state and I really really really want to win best in state. So anyway, that is why I'm hoping to be able to go to this workshop and learn and grow as a teacher so I can then >> So you don't have any competitiveness in you. It's just all for the students, right? >> Not even a little. I I did do a lot of sports in high school. I did track, cross country, soccer. I actually didn't do a high school musical because I was competing on the field and blew out my knees. So now I'm like taking it out on the stage. Hey, we have an excellent program and and you need to take that our our pleasant our please our pleasure for what is how how am I trying to say that our uh extreme good recognition of our program our theater program and it's it's for because of you and those people that help you with that.
Okay. So, um, I'm going to summarize only because I've been up a lot than I anticipated, but are there any other questions or thoughts or ideas that you guys would like me to expand upon or I don't have anything on I thought um, that, but I was just wondering um, do we have any sponsors waiting on that site to go live cuz they can't wait to hit the button. Do we have any that are anticipating that may be in our pipeline? So, I would say this and I don't want to speak prematurely for any organization. Um, in so I'll speak to last week's meeting at I went to I was in Park Forest. Um, there were a lot of there were the response was well received number one and it was I didn't know this was a thing. Like I didn't know this is a possibility.
They can go pick up their prescription. So, instead of getting sicker waiting at an urgent care, they can do it telephonically and and get what they need. Mhm. That So, that was one of my questions that I wrote down. That Teladoc um zero co-pay, it's one of the benefits. Uh So, you're you're calling and it's basically whoever's going to answer or respond is is Yeah, it'll be a list of doctors that they have. Um pick it up. I mean, it's mostly, you know, I've got a sinus infection. Things that you kind of know, I've got an ear infection. Mhm. They'll ask you some questions. We tell the employees to always register before you get sick, right? When you don't feel good, you don't want to register. So, if you register ahead of time, you're in the system. When you don't feel good or you're someone that's prone to those sinus infections or ear infections or something like that, then you're already in the system.

I was saying I was looking at time of year and I was hoping maybe they're going to do it indoors.
So, I think we're truly in the discovery stage. Um, I've had one or two like I'm jumping on board as soon as you can. Someone asked me to send them the brochure already. Um, but you know, we don't know until it actually comes into play in the sense of I don't want to count, you know, my eggs before they hatch so or my chickens before they hatch. So, um, but I have had positive response. Just us being face-to-face and having a conversation about what we're doing here and I'm really looking forward to this event because it'll be a nice open house version of things for our community members. So, if anything the engagement piece is amazing right now. It really is and and I I I I I want to I I appreciate our superintendent she's been very adamant about just let's let's get as creative as we can get.
You can call. They'll ask you some questions. Um I've even heard some will, "Can you put your phone to your mouth and let me try to look in your throat." That type of stuff and then they'll call in your prescription for you. So, it kind of takes the ease of you sitting in an urgent care or an emergency room. Right. Waiting. Okay. And that will be a nice plus to tell the members this year, too, because I think a lot maybe that are covered under the high deductible health plan, it always had a co-pay before. It was like $47 or something. Now, with not having that additional co-pay will be a nice and we'll be able to see if there's any utilization or anyone taking it from there. Thank you, Amy. So, your dental plans, moving forward with dental plans, you have both plans offered modest increases, which is consistent with what we're typically seeing in the market.
>> I don't think so. It's at Chapperel High School in Vegas. So, I'm pretty sure we're outside. >> Um, we're just trying to get creative with our soccer program. Our fall league has about 12 teams. I want to say we are jumping up two more teams came over to the fall this coming year, but we don't have a great opportunity to play unknown teams. We're just mostly playing each other. So, we've gone to PAC for several years. We've gone to Chino. Last year, you did approve for me to go to New Mexico and play, which was awesome. We found this tournament in Vegas, and right now it's nine teams. they're trying to get it to 12 where we'll do some playing games and then they'll set up a bracket based on your skill set and how those um competitions work themselves out so that you're all kind of playing at your level of difficulty.
Like let's do what the people want us to do. So, they've been like informal conversations about what do you guys want to see or what do you guys want to happen and it's been in every municipality or every town and village I should say. Um, so the engagement piece is high and I I anticipate it just it's going to be I think it's going to be great. Awesome. Yes. Well, it's it shows. It shows that you've been working on this initiative for a year or so, or a little bit over a year, or right around there? Um less than a year, but So, this was but just so you know, this was based on the goal you guys gave me at the beginning, and this was how are you going to increase revenue? So, we started doing uh just efficiency plan. This is what came out of that.
So, Delta Dental is a 2.5% increase, and then EMI is a 1.8% increase. So, Sibis recommends you just renew with the dental plans for both of those plans. The vision plan, your VSP vision plan is actually on a rate guarantee through 2028, but you currently have two tiers. So, you currently have an employee only, and then a family. Um we went to VSP, we ended up getting a enhanced benefit for the members and the employees. So, this enhanced benefit, you'll see where it's highlighted in yellow, it's going to increase the allowance. So, right now individuals get $130 worth of allowance for their frames. Now, that allowance will increase to $200. You'll get that additional allowance, and also, if you could scroll just a little bit down, you'll see the rates. We'll scroll down, and you'll see we've got it on a four-tier structure. So, now the rates are lower, but you get an employee only, an employee with spouse, employee children, and then family.
But it's just a great opportunity to kind of see the girls adapt their skills to teams they're not used to playing and learn to adjust in the game versus we play Snowflake and Xolo and Round Valley. We kind of know who to mark and what our strategy is going to be. It's just another way to improve their skills and give them another opportunity. We're also trying to build our program. Our program, um, I was gone for a year, I came back and it's just shrunk. So, we're investing a lot of time in our junior high and elementary kids with a spring club right now. We're inviting all of those kids to join us in our summer workouts when we're just getting together to play. But, this is something else that just really gets the girls excited about playing soccer and having more opportunities. It also gets them out there to see coaches from other areas.
As you recall, we provided that extra stipend for her to go out there and do the night events, to go out there and engage, and that is what you are seeing. And so, the excitement piece is I think we've got it built, and the launch of it, we're going to start looking at this for next year as we start looking at our first games, cuz our first target for me is that first homecoming game. What are we going to be able to do? You saw the energy that we had this last year. And as you know, we've got this ribbon-cutting ceremony with the softball softball is coming up soon. That's going to be another piece that we start. So, we've got some really good pieces in place here, and I think Andrea has done a fabulous job out there. She's going out there and engaging with our community.
So, you could technically have someone that maybe has employees and covered their children right now that are paying 28.71, but they would fall into the employee with child or children tier and pay 17.40. So, it technically saved them some money as there. And also, VSP is going to put in a four-year rate guarantee, so these rates will stay the same until 2030. I was shocked when I wrote that. First time I've had to say 2030. Where do the times go? So, our recommendation would be to move to the option one for VSP with the enhanced benefit for the employees. The life and AD&D is in the second year of a rate guarantee, so there's no plan changes there. The only time someone would see a rate change or a rate increase is if they're on the voluntary option and they move out of their age bracket into a different age bracket, then they would see that increase there.
A lot of coaches will come and watch these tournaments to just give them a second look if that's what they're wanting to do after high school. So, we're just trying to get creative to get them some more games and unfortunately in Arizona by itself since we're the only ones who play in fall, we have to go out of state to kind of find these tournaments and competitions for them. >> You said there were some other teams coming into the fall league. >> Yeah. So, Paige has come in and we've been told Safford has come in. We're trying to schedule a Safford one though and having some trouble. So, we're trying to verify that right now, but that's what we've been told so far is that Paige and Safford have come into the fall. >> Way to go. >> That's long way to go. But Paige is a long way.
She's going out to these night events. I can't go to everything, you know, but she has been able to hit so many things. And I think the excitement that we have from people saying, "Oh my gosh, you know, we didn't know this was possible. We didn't know about this or that." This is now connecting all these dots. So, this is to me just a just a triple win for us, truly, about doing this. It's a revenue, it's an engagement, and it's showcasing our our district very well. So, I'm pleased about this. Absolutely. You may have said this. Uh is there like you remember a couple years ago we went to an event that University Park had at Governor's State where they had um music and business food and I think you came as well. Is it possible to do something like that to try to kick it off and invite businesses out?
Short-term disability it also is on a second year of a 2-year rate guarantee, so we just recommend renewing with that. And then taking a look at open enrollment communications. You'll see the There's the new benefit guides and the presentations. We do have meetings already scheduled for May 8th. They'll have They are at each individual school.
