Oh, say [singing] you see by the dawn [singing] early light. So proudly we held [singing] at the twilight last gleaming who's brought stripes and bright [singing] stars through the perilous fight. For the ramparts we [singing] watched were so gallently streaming [singing] and the rockets red glare.
So, this is a reading log sheet. And so, what you'll be able to do with this is uh check out a book from the uh school library, check out a book from the city library, read it, take it back in after you're done reading it, um you're going to have that opportunity to confer with the librarian about what the book was about, and once you answer some of those questions at the bottom, just a verbal answer that you're going to give to them, they're going to sign off on it, and you're going to be able to say, "I completed a summer reading challenge uh book." uh for students that are non-readers yet, if a book is read to them uh by the parents, we're going to work with the city library on having this. So for students that are prek uh as non-readers, we're going to be able to have them if you read the book to them and then talk to them about the book and the students can understand it and you're checking it out of a school library or a city library um then confer with the librarian about the book and how you read it to them and they'll sign off on it as well too.
Uh do you have any achievements in Triumph? >> Well, so far we've held a few events such as our Triumph Friendsgiving. Um then our Christmas lock in and also the Triumph March Music Madness competition >> which hopefully most of the school participated in. >> Hopefully, you know. >> Shout out Mr. Rice Tribe for winning. >> Yes. Not shout out to my tribe for not winning. >> I think we got, you know, somewhat close to >> I'm sure. Yeah. Actively forgetting what song we picked. >> Uh what's the history of Triumph? >> Okay. So, um as the historian, um the history start it's it actually started in Illinois in a high school in 1936 and has just grown throughout the Midwest and has even created some chapters into California and all the way up to Maine. So, it's a coast to coast uh corporation. Um, but it was just recently brought to Clearwater this school year.
Turn over to Miss Clementina Carla. >> Good evening everyone. Good evening President Buendia, board members, Superintendent Diaz, and everybody here, colleagues. Um, every year we have to revise our budget according to the most recent ADM. Um in December we have an opportunity to revise our budget if we are over budget which we were not. So that means that now right before the fiscal year is over we are required to do our revision please the budget revision will impact M which is maintenance and operations classroom site fund district additional assistance and special projects. As you can see on this page, the M budget is where much of the daily expenditures take place, including salaries, benefit, supplies, utilities, maintenance, and repairs, and other miscellaneous expenditures, which are not of a capital nature. As you can see, our um revenue control limit increased by $675,61. Um when we do the adopted budget, it's a projection and we try to be very conservative.
So I think uh we will start with Miss Butler. Come on down. Can Michael Codlesie come up? Here's Michael. So, do you want to look at the audience or do you want to look at the board? It's up to you. >> I'll look at >> Okay, we'll talk to the board. There's less people, right? Okay. So, I had a couple people do some words about Michael and then I added some at the very end. So, Michael is a friend to everyone. He has a way of bringing people together. He's generous, kind, conscient conscientious, and attentive to others. He's also very thorough, and hardworking. Um, I added that he always has fun dress up costumes for every dress up day. He's so spirited. He has lots of school spirit. Um, he brings a joke of the day. So, does it do you come like a couple times a week?
>> All right. So when we do that agenda, I'll just be right now. >> Yeah. >> That's why we take care of it. really make me want to know karaoke. It's going to make me want to see >> the horses. I've seen you >> do a darn good job, don't we? >> Yes. >> Yeah. >> Great. Okay. All right. We'll have call to order. Have a welcome. Just in time. >> So, we have our call to order. That was it.
Uh we are not doing an additional presentation in order to maximize um our time with our budget revision. On those uh the the main areas on the budget revision that were updated from the last budget that the board has reviewed was the actual um at to this point, the latest ADM calculations. Uh we do that in an effort to maximize any student ADM that was not captured in previous budget revisions. Um the only other significant changes uh in addition to updating the student average daily membership um was uh the May revision reflecting that decrease of the 255 ADM that we discussed our enrollment decline in this year. It also includes the final carry forward numbers from 2024-25. When we initially propose our budget, we don't have those final carry forward numbers uh because we have not closed our previous fiscal year. So, it's important when you finalize your budget for the year, as we've discussed in the study session, uh that we maximize those dollars so we have the most carry forward possible uh when we close out this year.
So, I'll go ahead and call this meeting to order. We're going to have uh start off with the Pledge of Allegiance uh led by Ms. Shayna Murray. And we will precede that with a moment of silence. So, if you would all please stand and join us in a moment of silence.
Let us stand for the pledge of allegiance led by our board secretary Chenine followed by our mission statement being read by our board member Elizabeth. >> I aliance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands. One nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all. Our mission statement is to engage and empower our students to positively impact their community and future. >> Thank you both. Do we have any public comments? >> No. >> Okay. Not nothing electronically. Okay. Thank you. All right. Do we have any board updates? I have one um this Thursday we're hosting uh boys conference track meet which is the first track meet we're able to host uh since we put the facilities up and I can't even I don't even know the last time we hosted an event. So it's pretty exciting that that not only we're hosting a meet but it's boys conference.
