Yes, they do. It's it's it should start getting to the the 5-minute mark. It's a lot easier to to kill the clock. Every every possession that Ashland gets from this point could take a minute off the clock if if they play it patiently, which hopefully they will. Well, I'll tell you what, I'm starving, Kev. I'm looking forward to maybe hit up some Townhouse Pizza on the way out of here and getting some food. Oh, well, get me a calzone because uh I would never say no to a Townhouse calzone. Yeah. They know what they're doing over there, and thank them for sponsoring these great high school teams with their support. They definitely make the season go a little bit easier. So, appreciate Townhouse Pizza for all they do for all the sports here in Ashland and sponsoring on this WACA TV presentation. So, thank you.
So, um so, I think that's kind of cool and um we'll start to gather you know, I'll start to send out some emails and gather those names just to just, you know, seeking interest of people that would like to be on on that list. And we'll see we'll try to form as we go forward, we'll try to form some kind of a little structure around it about how that happens, obviously. Um and go forward with, you know, when the next when the next project comes that hopefully we're we're ready for it. So. Would we send out a call for folks who'd be interested to be on this roster? Yeah, I think we should um create Even if it's like a simple Facebook Create Yeah, yeah. Yeah, that can go out in the newsletter and stuff like that. Um a little text. And then also I'm intending to reach out to all the professionals I reached out to before who weren't interested in sitting on one of these boards.
I'm seriously going to get a calzone, though. Starving. Uh steak and cheese or buffalo chicken? Your choice. I'd like the buffalo chicken. >> Mhm. So, looking ahead, Kev, you know, we talked about the tournament. We got uh Dedham Dedham next and then finishing the season with Westwood. Um Westwood's going to be a tough one. Dedham cuz definitely a potential win. They get that They win tonight and hold on to this. They get the Dedham win, they'll be 500, which I don't think it's going to move them into that 32 position, but they definitely will be having a playing game. And from the what I looked at yesterday on power rankings, we would have the um great opportunity to drive to Barnstable. I saw that. >> [laughter] >> To play a playing game, which would be amazing. So, let's hope there's some shuffling up in the standings in the next couple days and some closer town shows up as number 32.
I think a lot of times due to the time commitment. But for these for these positions you always have you you always has a have an option in the in the moment of saying yes or no. Yes, I can do this one. No, I can't do the next one. Depending on what your schedule is like or your interest in the project. So, I think it's a very different it's a very different commitment than than what we had before. So, I'm I'm I know I'm optimistic. I'm hoping that that good things come out of that. Okay. Reports uh CPC? Anything new on that since Uh the only thing we had since our last planning meeting Actually I think I talked about it at the last one was you know, we we talked about finalizing the dollar amount for the parcel that we were trying to purchase.
So, if if you're in that 32-33 spot, those are two very similar teams. >> Yes. Obviously, 32 gets the home field advantage. Um but it would certainly be a likely a very competitive game. Have two teams that are ranked so similarly. The only negative out of that though, if you do win that playing game, then you get to play the number one team, which would be Reading Memorial. We did play Reading a couple years ago, I think, Kev, when we lost in the first round. Maybe it's freshman you were Maggie but I don't remember it. No. I think that was Reading. But anyways, they're they're they're going to be a tough team. But they're undefeated, 14 and 0 if that's the case. But we're we're we're looking ahead and we're Yeah. This is all theoretical stuff. >> tonight, then you've got to get through Dedham, and then you've got to get through the playing game.
That went up to the town vote. It did not pass. Yeah. It did not pass. >> pass. All right. Um MetroWest Regional Collaborative, did that meet Um I think it's scheduled for mid May 28th. And I saw calendar schedule options for the historic reservation training program. I think some dates are floated out for end of Doodle was floated out for end of June. Okay. Cool. I have comprehensive plan on here just because I figured once we get going that'll be a regular topic so I didn't want to take it off. Um administrative matters anything on here for anything new that you want to report on Jasmine? We do Um we do have a request coming in from the YMCA just to request release their remaining 53G um bond amounts so that'll be on the next agenda. So we just sent that out to Mike Carter to make sure that everything was all set that he recommends the release of the bond his review is complete and it's approved so I don't have any reason why he would say no and then technically you have to take a formal vote to release the funds back to them.
But right now focus on this. And again, now this would be a good time to wait for a a real clean look. Yes. There's no need to try to hit a cutter who's not open. Um Ash, the the pass is there, but she the the pass is open. >> Open was questionable, but she got the pass to her, so we'll we'll take it as a positive. But you can see what happens when it doesn't work out, you get this transition game. And you got a three on one coming in. Three on two now with What a defensive play that was. >> Wow. Kendall Westerland flexing her muscles out there, showing them who's boss on defense. Great to slow it down. Without that, we'd have a fast break right to goal. So good for Kendall for for uh stepping into that. Yep. That That worked out well for for Kendall.
I think it's like $1,200 or something like that so. Okay. That's all I have new for this meeting. All right. Um and then no we had updates on these last time but nothing happened since then. Uh well the housing production plan has been submitted to the state and it it is under review. I did at least get confirmation that they're reviewing it but that's it. Okay. All right. >> [laughter] >> Fair enough. Um and nothing new on the 40Bs or the housing inventory. Okay. All right then we can go on to meeting minutes. We've already established our next meeting is May 28th. First meeting minutes we have our April 9th. Um are these the ones that we had the question about? >> Yes and what was the question? I have a note that says what was the question? Did we only uh discuss those two items and we did only discuss those two items when I went through checked it that was all that was on there.
She almost came up with the ball, too. Not quite, but We're not still a man up, are we? No. That's That That's over. That was it. 6:31. Okay. So here we go. We got a even defense offense. Peyton riding riding that defense. Austin trying to set something up. They got to get some urgency here, down by five. Get some goals. Get to net as quick as you can if if you know a good a a good strategy here is to drive to net and get a penalty and get a free shot to goals quick as you can Kev. That's what I would be doing. In a game where they have scored six goals through three and a half quarters uh to think that they're going to get five by being super patient probably not in their best interest. There's a pass didn't connect. Payton Tripp gets it.
So it was the Palm Street and our and then the YM What do you mean the I think it was two items under the Y. Two items under the Y. Yeah cuz this was at the the final vote right where we just we're just confirming the last two little pieces and then we Oh yes exactly. Like why the like the YMCA so complicated? Why don't Why don't we have more? Well, we did the previous week and it was just making sure that that's all we had the previous meeting. So, um Diva wasn't sure. And I my memory is yep. Not good at anyway. I said let's just double check. Look at this one instance. That's it. I couldn't remember. I I remember that we questioned the meeting was when I couldn't even remember why. Yes, that's all it was. Just making sure that we had the right things.
Up to Ali Marseglia but she couldn't grab it and now Paulson's coming back. Can't cross check people like that but yeah, slows them down a little bit. Gabby Eng playing some defense there. An integral part of this defense all season and last season. Great kid. Soccer player in addition to lacrosse. Do I see the sun coming out? I think it's an illusion. Okay. Yeah, you're right. Paulson with the ball here top five minutes left to go here in the fourth down by Actually Forrester with a bit of a high cross check. I think maybe hit her Yeah, it looked like it was around shoulder height more than hit her neck but she did go down hard. Yeah, she's definitely injured. Maybe shoulder or Let's hope she's okay. Yeah. The trainer's coming out to take a look at Trainer Amy's great. She's helped out a lot of kids on this field over the last couple of years.
So, Okay. Um If that is confirmed, then we can approve them, right? I mean, do you have any questions? I don't think I Yeah, I didn't I didn't have any changes on that one actually. So, I motion to approve the April 9th minutes as recorded. Roll call vote. Diva I Anna I Scott I Paul I Trisha Kendall I. Now we're on to April 30th. Does anybody have the April 30th ones because I don't think I have them. I I printed them out. Thank you. Oh, so did you guys not have them? I don't have them for some reason. I think I just Oh, you don't have any? I just forgot to print Anna's because Melissa didn't do her folder That's okay. Uh okay. Okay. Because we thought she wasn't going to be here. Yeah, I was going to be remote, but I changed things around.
Trainer staff doesn't usually get enough props. They're uh you know, they're always at every game. It's a You just stand around and wait for somebody to get injured. It's not a It's not a fun position but when they do they're ready to jump, ready to pounce. So good for her. >> role for sure. She's up. She's good. I wouldn't say she's good but she's up. Good to see. I think they're going to take a closer look, make sure there's no other damage. I I don't think they called a yellow card on the play. I think they just called a >> called a foul. They just called a whistle for >> a regular foul. So, with less than 5 minutes left, Holliston will have the ball, but still chasing that five-goal deficit. If there was no foul called, it should be an alternate possession. But, looks like they're going to give the ball to Holliston on the 12.
The only thing I have Well, the first one thing I have maybe I'm good. Thanks. Um One thing I have is that under 55 Tilton and I wasn't even there. But, under 55 Tilton Yeah, that's fine. Um the third paragraph it says um Oh, no. I'm sorry that that was not so what I was looking at. No, sorry that that was uh was Huh, I don't know where it was. Maybe I was looking reading something else. There was something I just it was really hard to understand, but now I can't find uh where it was. So, maybe it was in a Don't know if else had a problem with it. It must not have been that hard. Then the only the only thing I do have on there then is I was wondering about on the revised fee schedule discussion on page five. Um I didn't see in there that um No, never mind.
I think they're calling a regular Was it a foul? Yeah, a regular foul. It's just not a card. Nice job on defense there. Was that Was that Ashley coming back in, or was that uh I'm not sure if it was Ashley or Ryan. Their numbers look kind of similar there, but whoever did it, nice look by Yeah, I thought she was going to free us there, but it was actually to Trip, and Trip up to to McGuinness, and once again, see if Ashland decides to wait for a perfect opportunity, instead of looking for a a fair opportunity. I love Alyssa Brian as a player. She's just She's aggressive. She's fast. She's rarely a number that I call that I saw something go wrong. She's just is always consistent, and that's a good place to be. So, she's been great. >> her Bolduc. >> Ooh! Great pass from Payton to Maggie McGuinness for the goal, top corner.
It's there. It said that you will include a footnote that a waiver to the fees may be requested. I'm just going crazy. So, never mind. >> You've been busy. We're good. All right. I'll make a motion to approve the April 30th minutes. Second. >> Yeah. And I'll call vote. And I'll cast my vote I. Skowpinski, [clears throat] I. Fuller, Messina, I. And Trisha Canaday, Okay. Never mind. So, um elections are Tuesday. Go vote if you haven't already. Um and Otherwise, technically this is my last meeting I guess. Yeah, go vote, show support. You mean if nobody votes? Yeah. >> [laughter] >> And so when we have our next meeting on the 28th, oh you're not going to be here. We typically reorganize when we have a full board the first meeting that we have a full board. I think we're fine. We could just keep them as it is.
So, if you're going to shoot, make sure you score it, and if you're going to pass, make sure it's open. So, that was a a good example of that. Hey Kev, one more point. I won't jinx it, but one more point, and we're seven. Okay. >> And then we get another point, and we're eight. So, you're you're looking towards jumping up to 32, aren't you? I'm thinking about it. Yeah, I'm thinking about it. Yeah. I you know, my my kids always razz me, cuz every year I'll I'll print out the power rankings, I'll put them on the fridge when they first come out and they never know why I do it, but little do they know that you and I both have spreadsheets on our computers and we're figuring out what the next step is and who we got to beat to do what and statistically not the smartest person, but I try and I love to try to figure out what's going to happen here.
Oh no, we're not. >> [laughter] >> Little snarky look you had. Don't poke the bear. In fact I was like in fact I was I would I was like I want people I want to people to consider that maybe we'll be having Hey. Warm up being the chair, practice being the chair cuz I am no longer the official chair when when that hits. That's that's election. I've never heard you so clear before. >> [laughter] >> Last three years you've never said this. Right, yeah no I'm I'm I'm quite I'm quite different this year. So I am I am. So if people do have any Dipa, are you sure you don't want to be here at the 28th? I'm just saying you could end up being Why don't we all think about how to go about it? Yeah. And discuss it with the full board on the 11th of June.
In the mind. >> Yes. So, they kind of got mad at me when we put it on the fridge and they were 35, but I said, "Hey, you know what? It's got to go on the fridge no matter what. Something to something to strive for and play for." So, 3 and 1/2 minutes left here in the fourth. You got Ashland 12, Holliston Panthers are six. Another draw control for Ashley Forster, so she's having a heck of a game. Ryan Adorno wide open in the cut through there. So, shooting is is is fine if you're Ashland, passes are fine. Just make sure they're good ones. Just if it's not quite there, then just wait. No need to rush these. That's right. Got plenty of time, you got the lead. Just sit back and wait for the right one. McGinnis around the corner, top left corner. Another good goal.
Will our associate member also be here? For the 11th of June? As far as I know. Um great. So I think that will Yeah cuz your term isn't up until the end of June. >> Yeah, so why don't we have that discussion as a board and All right, we'll get to the we'll get to the 20th. >> Bring some ideas and maybe we should all think about it, connect with Trisha, brainstorm with her what it involves, come up with creative ways to do it if you know if there's no one who wants to step up, what will it look like. Can't we to somebody into it? Well, I mean, you know, I would describe Tricia's style. She's extremely independent. I think with a lot of respect for Tricia, I think she tends to not delegate that much to other people. Um right, you're you're pretty pretty good at doing things directly.
