Good evening. I'd like to call to order the October 27th, 2025 meeting of the Westchester School Board. Uh tonight we welcome students Desi Fez and Llaya Sano from East Bradford Elementary School with their principal Dr. Austin. They'll start by leading us in the salute to our flags. >> Oh, what did I say? >> Oh, I'm sorry. This is East Bradford. East >> the Road Runners. Wait, what? East the Roadunner. I aliance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands. One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Go ahead. We'd love to hear what's going on at East Ocean Elementary these days. >> Hi, my name is Laya and I'm a fifth grader at East Ocean. Our school has had some pretty awesome updates
so far. These things are buddies, PBIS Roadrunner tickets, the golden ticket, and a book vending machine. Buddies are when two grades team up and they get someone to pair with for the year. We work on projects and activities together. The PB Road runner ticket is something that you get when you are demonstrating being safe, being respectful, and being responsible. You can trade them in for prizes, rewards, etc. The golden ticket is a special type of ticket that comes around every month. It's delivered by Willy Wonka himself. The golden ticket goes to one person per grade who is shown responsibility, respectfulness, and safness. You can trade in the golden ticket for a prize. And the vending machine. Imagine a regular vending machine, but instead of snacks, they're books. You can trade 40 tickets to get a
token, which then you can choose any book. As you can see, EG has had some amazing things happen to it so far. Departmentalization is a process our school is going through. It involves fourth and fifth grade students to switch classes throughout the day. Fourth and fifth grade students get to see different teachers throughout the day, and we get to learn more about our teachers every day. It makes the school day go by faster, so students be more involved during school day. At EGE, we are learning the importance of being more than ourselves. This year, we have built community partnerships with Wawwa to support our Best Buddies program and with Boneham Senior Living to work with residents on various art projects. These partnerships give us meaningful opportunities to connect with others and make a positive impact
in our community. >> Okay, nice job. [applause] >> Glad you could stand up there for another couple minutes. Dr. Christopher and I have some certificates to give you >> and Dr. Austin's [laughter] [applause] paper back. >> Yeah. >> [applause] >> Christopher [laughter] >> and big smile and stay for family. [laughter] >> [applause] [laughter] >> Thank you folks. Have a good evening. Okay, moving on. We have no special announcements tonight and we'll go on to roll call. Miss Cherish, >> vice president >> here. >> Director Christie >> here. >> Director Dry >> here. >> Director >> here. >> President >> here. Director >> here. >> Director Herman. Director Parkinson >> here. >> Director >> Here >> thank you. And next is public comment on agenda items. >> There are no registrants for public agenda items. Okay,
thank you. And we'll approve the minutes from the September 29th, 2025 meeting. Do I have a motion to approve the minutes? Director Fry, may I have a second? Vice President Member Aqua. All those in favor say I. >> I. >> And please note that I will abstain since I was not at that meeting. And um opposed. Okay, motion carries. We'll now move on to approving the agenda for tonight. Now is the opportunity for board members to request changes to the board agenda. Are there any requests for change? >> I would like I would like to make a request for change. I would like to pull policy 815.1 from consent agenda because at policy committee last week week we decided that that policy needed further attention. >> Thank you. Is that do we need to vote
on this? Okay. So, may I have a first may I have a motion to approve the October 27, 2025 agenda as amended? We have a first. Dr. Dietri, may I have a second? Director Dell. All those in favor say I. I. >> Opposed. Motion carries. And this leads us to Dr. Christopher's report for tonight. >> All right. Thank you. So, I'd like to start by just sharing an update on our ongoing work around student engagement. I mean earlier this month we uh we met held our second meeting uh where we're reviewing the book the disengaged team with quite a bit of our uh staff administrators and community partners and parents. Uh the conversations have been thoughtful solution focused and as we continue to identify ways to better connect with students and to help them find
their place in school and their interests and their passions in life. Uh it's been a really good conversation. I think we we leave uh after those meetings which usually are after they're 6 to8 some even meetings and uh it seems like we're pretty energized when we're leaving which is positive. We have one more session planned in November where we'll be bringing together the ideas we've gathered and start shaping concrete next steps. Uh if whether you've been here or not for any of the past meetings you're welcome to join us for our last one. The RSVP form is on our district homepage. Last week our district once again participated in operation safe stop. Uh it's really a it's a transportation operation that we do uh with bus drivers and local law enforcement and helps us provide
important reminders for drivers to follow school bus laws and keep our students safe as they travel to and from school. I want to thank our transportation team, local law enforcement, and our community partners for their continued collaboration on this initiative. It was a it was success again. As we head into the end of October, our schools are gearing up for some Halloween fun. Everyone's excited about that. I you know and Friday night people I think we're supposed to go to Mr. Skilly's house to hand out candy as a pirate this evening but maybe not he's not sure we alone but that does sound like fun. Uh but I know that I know it's a great evening here usually in our community. There's a lot of great things going on here in the community u related
to that and we'll have a lot of fun but it's always important also lots of kids out you know lots of families out. We always want to do a little public service announcement to make sure that you're you're being careful at this time of year as you're driving around our communities. Uh we're also entering concert season which is one of the best times of the year. Our students and music educators have been working hard to prepare a full lineup of performances which will begin here uh you know in November. I encourage everyone to check out our school websites and newsletters for concert dates. There's a lot of talent on display and plate to enjoy. And I will let the students talk more about their athletic teams. I'm confident the Rustin uh uh student, I'm pretty
sure Ma has something to say. But uh all three of our football teams are in the playoffs. That may be the first time that's happened in a while. And so unfortunately, two of them play each other the first game, but so they will not all be in the playoffs after game one. Uh but we have lots of teams that have made the playoffs. We have quite a few advancing. I don't know what happened this evening at Russ. I know we had some games going on. Um and we'll be following that up as well. Finally, if you haven't tuned in yet, I encourage you to listen to Dr. Reynolds District podcast, Walking the Westchester Way. I'm sorry, Walking with WCASD. It's a great way to stay connected to what's happening across the district and a new
episode will be released this Wednesday. It's really a great opportunity for us to highlight some of the great things that are happening in the district and Dr. Mles does a great job with that with our communications team. So, thank you all. That concludes my report. >> I have a question. How can we listen to the podcast? >> So, [snorts] you can you can find it on our website. It's also on Spotify where you find all your other podcasts. But [laughter] um and uh we can we can follow up with that. But I mean that that's probably the easiest way is actually if you're looking for podcast on Spotify, if you actually go and look for uh Walking with WCSD, it's on there on our website. We actually have a video podcast as well. So if
you'd rather watch it, you can do that, too. >> Awesome. Thank you. >> Yep. >> Thank you, Dr. Christopher. And now we'll hear from our high school representatives. Hi, my name is Axita Duri and I'm Westchester East school board rep and I've East has had a pretty busy October so far, but it's been extremely exciting. So, we've still been implementing our cell phone policy, which is from bell to bell, we can't use our phones, as Dr. Grim says on the announcements every morning. And as much as I want to go on my phones and like on my phone and like check messages, I've recently started looking around and seeing like all the students that I've never had a chance to talk to and I've been connecting with them and I think it's a really great
time. I like as much as I do hate someone pausing to say it again, it [laughter] it is like affecting our school really like positively. I'm seeing so many students connect with teachers, creating new bonds, and just branching out of their comfort zone. So, I do have to say that. And at the beginning of the month, we had our activity fair, which is a huge success. We had a significant increase in student signups, especially for DECA. And if I can brag, we are the biggest DECA chapter out of the three schools with 228 members this year. >> And we already started DECA signup. So, we're we pretty much have a head start. Sorry, guys. And a lot of freshmen have been signing up for uh different groups and different events and coming up with their
own organizations, which is pretty great, too. And then to move on to our athletic front, our boys bubble team did make playoffs and their first game is this Friday, and the theme is Halloween. So, I thought in honor of that, I'd tell you guys a Halloween joke I thought found online. [laughter] Um, why did the football team go to a Halloween party? >> Why? [laughter] >> To show off their scary good defense. >> Wasn't the Steelers. [laughter] >> But to move on from that bad joke, our four our fall sports did come to an end, but that just means our winter sports are coming back and our boy our boys hockey team has a game tonight and they are three P champions. So, they're looking for a good season so far. And then last Friday,
our student count council held breast cancer awareness day where students dressed from head to toe in all pink gear and they donated money. So, our student council was able to raise $850.66, which is all going to Unite for Her, which gives free wellness programs and therapies for women struggling with breast cancer and ovarian cancer. And I want to give a big shout out to our student council adviserss, Senora Moreno Davis and Mrs. Schela. It would have been able we wouldn't have been able to do it without their help. And lastly, I would like to give a good a big shout out to Lexi Whan, a senior who recently got a role at Petra as Petra in a Christmas Carol at People's Light and Theater Company. This is a like a big thing for her because
it's going to launch her like potential acting career. So, just want to give a big congratulations to her. And that concludes my October report. >> Thank you. >> Good evening all. Uh just to reintroduce myself, my name is Jackson. I'm a senior at Henderson. Um and I firmly believe that if you don't look insane during spirit week, you are not doing [clears throat] it right. Um last month I reported on a time of change as freshmen had just begun high school and everyone was getting used to new classes, a new schedule, new teachers, and new activities. Um, I found that October has been a complete opposite. Instead of a time of transition, it's been a time for students to really settle into this new year, get used to the new routines, get used to this
new school year. I see this every day as I see so many less wandering freshman's lost in the halls. I'm getting used to the new anchors on the morning announcements. Um, and I actually remember that I am a senior and not still a junior. Um, I I think the settling in really started with homecoming week, uh, where people got really settled into the Henderson community. Spirit week was the best that I could remember. Um, it had a great increase in student participation. My favorite day was throwback day. Um, I expected to see a bunch of people in ' 80s outfits. Um, but I was actually really surprised when I saw um, a 19 an 1890s news boy and I think three students in ancient Roman toadas. Um, this week was also made uh, very exciting
by rock, paper, scissors tournament. It was run by our student council and it was a fundraiser for Henderson families in need. Um, and it brought friendly competition into the school, but it also really helped our freshman community really settle in with with each other when a freshman beat a senior in the final game at the pep rally and they screamed their faces off. >> Um, we our school has continued our routine of hosting pep rallies inside which has been a great success. And then on students way out to our outside homecoming carnival. They got to admire um our our decorations, our hallway decorations. Our homecoming theme this year was board games. Our juniors were Jumanji and us seniors were Candyland. Um and I really wish I didn't have to tell you this, but the juniors
did outdecorate us. Um however, our victory in Tug of War and our superior homecoming t-shirt landed us the spirit stick. All of these events were in anticipation of our homecoming game and dance, which were both nice where students got to spend time with their friends, uh, where a lot of students were settling into new friend groups and new social circles. The weeks after homecoming, I really missed the fun and extravagant outfits. But our school didn't stop with its accomplishments. As fall sports have gotten further into the season, students have settled in with their new teams, allowing for eight varsity teams to make district playoffs. Um, one thing that has happened outside of the new routine is Erica Dunwy, a ninth grader, made it to girls tennis state championships. Uh, one of the 16 girls chosen
for that. Also breaking our traditional uh, routine is our new men's volleyball team, which will be competing this spring. Uh, we've had amazing successes outside of sports as well. Our academic teams, A Team, won the Lehigh Valley Invitational, uh, being undefeated throughout the whole tournament. Now, one of my routines, favorite routines that has continued is our chamber choir and our chamber orchestra retreat, uh, where we spent a weekend rehearsing music, forming bonds, and settling into our new ensembles. All happening at this outdoor retreat center. By far the most effective team building activity was watching our choir director fly 50 feet into the air to the song to find Gravity from Wicked when we were doing our high ropes course. You can find it on Instagram. It's really funny. Um, we weren't the only department to
go on a trip that year. The art department took a trip to the Met and I heard from those students that they really liked seeing all this art from a bunch of different cultures. Uh, finally, our students have been physically setting in settling in to many new seating opportunities that we have at Anderson. Um, in our art department, we took out the lockers and put in benches and tables, which students have been loving. They've been using them during Warrior block and study hall. And I'm excited for more to for more to hopefully be put in uh towards the end of the school year. Along with that, our the first part of our outdoor classroom was built, which has these benches that can then fold into picnic tables, which I think are pretty cool. Overall, October
has allowed students to settle into this new school year and take advantage of all it has to offer. Now, before I finish, um one of my predecessors, Form Shaw, was beloved for the ha coups and other uh poems that she included in her speeches. Um, and I know I shouldn't compare myself to others as I talked about at my last speech, but I would like to conclude my speech with a far superior poem style to high [laughter] a limick. As the fall leaves are incoming and we are weeks past homecoming, students are settling in with new sports to meddle in, even though there's still issues with our plumbing. [laughter] >> Hi everyone, my name is Mera and I'm the representative for this year. So, since our last meeting together, so much has happened at Rustin
High School. We finished up our homecoming week with our final spirit days and the even more exciting pep rally. During our court skit, we had seniors acting out scenes from Despicable Me, Teen Beach Movie, Dancing with the Stars, as well as other unique idea ideas. I will tell you, it was very funny seeing a bunch of minions and a student dressed up as Grill jump out out of the freshman scene and start crawling down the the gym with a big fart gun. all with music playing. Um, and this is all in an attempt to raise our school's energy for Saturday. For our class competition, of course, you know, the seniors won, but the juniors and freshmen and even our administrators put up a good fight. We had an successful homecoming game, winning 3114, beating Downtown
East and the even more fun-filled Saturday night, complete with music, dancing, and of course, our friends. Uh this month, Rustin also celebrated two student authors, Jane Goodwin and Josiah Martinez, who got their short stories published in Fight or Flight, and our school library even hosted a book signing with these two authors. Additionally, um, our Elquente Club or our Spanish culture club hosted a tortilla making event during our nighttime where students got to understand the process of mixing different types of maze or corn flour and water to create their own own tortillas. Using a traditional tortilla press and understanding the culture behind it, RHS students got to eat all the tortillas they made, marking this event a tasty success. And then going along with what the school board talks about the portrait of a graduate, uh,
our principal advisory committee met last Friday to discuss the results of our own yonder patch experiment where select students decided to have their phone locked away for the whole day to see what the school day was like with absolutely no phones. So, like Aida said, a bunch of students were not happy with the result, just not having their phone at all during their break times or their study halls, but they did feel that there was more connection between students they've never talked to before, and they felt that that facilitated a better environment. Um, we also at this meeting discussed student engagement both in the classroom and community and reflected how engaged students rise up to be impactful leaders in all aspects of their life. And then along with Halloween right around the corner, Rustin is
getting a little more spooky. From Halloween decorations to a spirit day this Friday, the Golden Knights got into Halloween spirit with their annual booing of their elementary schools organized by our student council. Moving on to a more musical note, Rustin Orchestra got an amazing opportunity to play at Senator Kamida's senior expo at Westchester University. We sent a full senior quartet and these wrestling musicians made us all very proud. Our marching band also had another incredible season so far. They placed first in their first three competitions of the season and are looking forward to their state championship competition this coming Saturday, November 1st at Upper Morland High School and also the US band's national championship competition at Metife Stadium. Last but not least is our sports update. As fall sports are coming to an end, wrestling
teams have done very, very well, going above and beyond this season. Senior Sophia Natinka placed sixth at the District 1 Championships and has qualified for the PAAA state championships this Saturday. Our girls volleyball team also earned a number two seed and are playing this Thursday against Pope John Paul for District 1 championships. Our boys soccer earned a number two seed while our girls soccer earned the number one seed overall. and both are hosting the District One semi-finals tonight in a double header with finals happening this Wednesday. As for golf, Rustin's proud to have two places. Cole Barry as District 1 gold championship and Nina Benadetto as overall fourth place finish and they both secured a trip to the PAAA state championship. And then finally, our football team has had a pretty eventful year and have
earned the number three seed in the District 1 playoffs and this Friday will mark the first playoff game. So, good luck nights. And to end on a positive note, with our last two games literally whooping East and Henderson, they couldn't score a single point on us. I think it's safe to say that rest is the football championship of the Westchester Area School District. >> Thank you very much. Uh well done. And I will say I'm very glad to hear that the uh new cell phone policy is making a positive impact and increasing connection among students and staff. and that the uh Henderson, the new city in Henderson has been um popular with with the students. That's very gratifying, I think, for everyone on the board to hear. So, thank you and we'll I'll see you
next month and good luck to all of the sports teams in the playoffs. I'm interested to hear what happens with the rest teams tonight. Pardon me. Now, we'll move on to our monthly personnel report. Miss Reed, >> thank you. Um, so tonight we are, um, there's a number of new folks who are joining, which is great. I also want to acknowledge Karen Alder, who is retiring after 23 years in the district as a reading specialist at East Bradford Elementary School. Um, we also have 35 teachers who have achieved tenure here. So, congratulations to them. >> Thank you. Short, sweet. May I have a motion to approve the October 27th personnel recommendations as presented? Vice President Bever may have a second. Dr. Dietri, all those in favor say I. >> I. >> Opposed. Motion carries. Next
up is approval of the consent agenda. Uh I don't believe there are any amendments to be made tonight. Okay. May I have a motion to approve the October 27th, 2025 consent agenda as listed? >> Dr. Dietri, you may have a second. President, >> yes, >> that policy that director Dal was on the consent agenda as amended. That's >> Yeah, I'll do that again. We'll do that again with amended. Thank you, Linda. Um, so may I have a motion to approve the October 27th, 2025 consent agenda as amended? Dr. Dri may I have a second? Director Parkinson. All those in favor say I. >> I. >> Opposed. Motion carries. And we'll move on to our committee report. First up is Director Dornell with teaching learning and equity. >> Thank you, President Fle. >> Yes. Uh let's
see. The teaching, learning, and equity committee meeting met on Monday, October 13th. We had one action item, the approval of the draft calendar and for the 2026 2027 school year and one of the items of note uh talks about how in the spring break is actually going to be a week long. Um several years ago spring break was a week long. It's been changed so the last several years it's only been a few days. So now we're going go back and give it a try to have spring break to be a whole week and that doesn't push our school the end of the school year back too far. I think like the 10th or so will end in June. Uh we also >> unless we bring you another calendar where it is not a week
which may happen. [laughter] >> Yeah. The calendar is a moving living document continues to grow and develop and change. um for discussion. We reviewed um and discussed schoolboard policy regarding the calendar. And the item of note there is that um the the current policy says that our calendar start either a week before or a week after Labor Day. And if we were to start a week after Labor Day, that puts us back to like the middle of September, which pushes back the end of the school year. And so we made an amendment in the in the calendar policy to allow us to not be locked into that seven days before or seven days after. Uh we also discussed a new board policy uh involving therapy dogs. Therapy dogs have been part of our our district
for a while. We've had these practices in place, but now we have a policy that addresses um all the things involved with having a therapy dog on in our in our buildings. And then we also had presentation about the advanced placement results presented by Dr. Beth Ziggmmont uh assistant director of teaching learning and equity. Uh next month we'll take a deeper dive at the teaching learning and equity committee meeting to look at some of the disagregated data and our next policing learning and equity meeting will be on November 10th at six o'clock and everybody's welcome to attend. That concludes my report. Thank you, Director Dell. We had no personnel committee this month. So, next is Vice President Beaka with property and funding. >> Thank you, President F. The property finance committee meeting was held last
Monday, October 20th. As we do on a monthly basis, Mr. Scully reviewed the budget forecast model and changes made from the previous month's model. The 2526 changes in the net of all changes for the month of October resulted in ending fund balance increase of 1.8 million which will be utilized to reduce the 2627 budget gap. Mr. Scully then reviewed to the committee the summary of all funds on the forecast model and shows a budget gap after the act one increase of approximately 13.7 million. The administration as they always will continue to review these projections for potential savings to reduce the millage impact for the 2627 budget. Mr. Skully then reviewed the 2627 enrollment projections. He advised the committee that the 2627 projections is a total student population of 11,921. That represents an increase of eight
students from the current 2526 actual enrollment. So basically pre-lo. Mr. Scully then re uh reminded the committee that the projections will be used to plan for building budgets as well as staffing needs for next school year 2627. Mr. Scully reviewed the student market share analysis and that the district's percent of total students is currently at 79.3%. Mr. Skully then reviewed the 2627 next school year building budget allocation, also known as PPA per pupil spending analysis. The total allocation is 3 million uh 06 uh 3 million64,866. That's 38,72 less than the pro projections in our current forecast model. The recommended PPA factor for the 2627 school year is $15582. That's a slight increase of 82% from the 2526 factor. Um the recommended 2627 fixed activity budgets were kept consistent for middle school and increased by 21,000
at the high school levels. The committee recommended approval of the 2627 building budget allocation. And basically, if you're following the agenda, I4 is an approval item. So, do have a motion tonight for the board for approval. Approval is requested for the 2627 building budget allocations. I so move. >> I have a first from Vice President Balaka. May I have a second? Director Bernell. All those in favor say I. >> I. Opposed. Motion carries. >> Continuing on, Mr. Bner director of facilities then presented the committee with a list of capital projects to be considered for next year for the 2627 budget. They included things such as roof refurbishment at Fugate Middle School, roof refurbishment at East High School and uh those 2627 fund 30 capital projects as we call them total to total price of 911,124.
Mr. Uh Burster then reviewed the 26 27 next school year's capital reserve projects and they consisted of many projects that we see as ongoing projects the school does his normal maintenance things like emergency repairs concrete sidewalk and curb replacements continuing to improve the elementary school playgrounds fencing repair replacements flooring replacements in the schools some additional roof work uh stadium lighting LED upgrades for the Rustin High School stadium uh boiler replacement at Stson HVAC replacements and interior painting. All of those three things are at STSON for total estimated cost of these fund 27 projects as we as we call those for next school year for a total price of 3,265,266 267. Uh and I do have this item also uh for approval. The committee [clears throat] recommended approval of these capital projects I just listed and
this is item I5 on the agenda tonight. So the motion reads as follows. Approval is recommended for the 2627 capital projects list as is presented. I so move >> and refer from vice president. May I have a second? Dr. Dietri. All those in favor say I. I. >> I. Opposed. >> Motion carries. >> And just finishing up the next property and finance committee meeting. All are welcome to attend. It's next month on Monday, November 17th. And that concludes my report for this evening. >> Thank you. And we'll move on to director Dietri and polic. Thank you. Policy review committee met on October 20th and the committee reviewed a few times sensitive policies and then began to review section 900 community. These policies and administrative guidelines appear on tonight's consent agenda and were approved with the
exceptions of policy 815.1 and this is part of question 9008 which were tabled at the committee meeting for further review. Um, our next meeting will be on Monday, November 17th. And that's my report for tonight. My question was, did we need to pull 908? Well, the consent agend >> it wasn't listed somewhere, but both of those policies were tabled at the committee meeting. That's my report. Thank you, Dr. Dri. >> Hey, we will now move on um to we go to take the glasses off. We will go to other reports. So, Director Dell, can you give us the IU report? >> We'd be happy to. The Chester County Intermediate Unit board of directors held its monthly meeting on Wednesday, October 15th at the CCIU Learning Center in Coatville. Dr. Siobhan Levy, director of student services,
introduced Victor Brown, interim principal at the CCIU Learning Center, who gave a presentation on the new senior blitz program at the CCIU Learning Center. Mr. Brown explained that the senior blitz is a proactive initiative designed to ensure that every graduating senior is fully prepared for life after high school. Through one-on-one meetings with administrators, students will receive personalized guidance to confirm their postsecary plans, whether that involves college, military service, trade school, or other career pathways. Dr. Jean Dr. Gene McCarthy, director of Grand Wine Valley Virtual Academy, BBA, and her team provided an overview of key initiatives designed to enhance student wellness, engagement, and creativity in the virtual learning environment. She was joined by Kevin Basty, supervisor of operations, and Kellen Spina, supervisor of curriculum, to highlight the progress and expansion of BBA's wellness, world language, art,
and physical education programs. Kevin Ballasty presented on BBA's wellness check-in program. He reported that BVA has made significant strides in supporting student wellness through its wellness check-in initiative. Kellen Spina spoke about the world language program and how its collaboration with the uh Appalachia intermediate unit has brought synchronous K through2 virtual world language instruction to students across Pennsylvania through a seamless one-click connection. Students engage with live teachers in a variety of languages including Japanese, Arabic, German, French, American Sign Language, and Latin. The CCIU board of directors acted on the following business. We approved a resol resolution to authorize uh issuance of a revenue anticipation note to cover potential cash flow shortages created by the current Commonwealth budget impass and federal government shutdown. Uh we also approved several contracts with districts for services such as communication audit
services, leadership consultation services, and professional learning in structured literacy. The next CCIU board of directors meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 19th at 9:30 p.m. at the Technical College High School Penox Bridge campus in West Road. That ends my report. >> Okay. Thank you, Director Dell. And do we not have a legislative report this month? Okay. >> I I would say that in that report you heard that the CCIU is now going to go out and get a revenue anticipation note which is because they're not receiving any state funding and so they're going to have to take out a loan to essentially you know maintain operation and unfortunately that comes at a cost. The loan is not interest free. They're going to have to continue to pay that. So it really is starting to
have an impact here in Chester County on our families and our students the fact that the budget is not moving. So I want to make sure that I get tilted. Thank you for that. And we now are moving on to other business. And Director Parkinson has one action item for the board to consider. >> Um, yes. Approval is requested to accept the resignation of Dr. Karen Herman, Westchester Area School Board Director in Region Two. I so move. >> I have a first from Director Parkinson. I have a second. Vice President Bever. All those in favor say I. I. >> I. opposed. Motion carries. We'll now move on to comments from residents on non-aggenda items. There are no registrants for this call period. >> Thank you, Miss Quest. Thank uh let's see. I instead of a
