001Good evening everyone. Uh we're going to begin our committee of the whole meeting this evening. We have one presentation regarding the paving project and Mr. Koshious will take care of that information for us. >> Good evening everyone. Um I uh in your packet I gave you the three proposals for the engineering uh the paving paving project at RKM and LVMS. And just want to know if you had a chance to review them if you had any questions in what we're going to recommend tonight for to be voted on. And those companies were CJL Engineering, Gibson Thomas Engineering, and Marcowski. >> Mr. I know that after doing the review of of the proposals myself and looking at some information online, um I'm going to make the suggestion that the Gibson Thomas contract be the one that

002be accepted. >> Okay. And you saw I gave you the additional work that they done and you can see over the last three years there was comparison with more uh paving projects they performed in CJL. But uh it was good to get the vote to see what was out there and the pricing wasn't too too much of a difference. >> Correct. Can I spot about something else? >> Yeah, go ahead. >> Um, >> can you just give us a status update on baseball field and >> Okay. Um, the questions the baseball field, we do have a project or bi-weekly or yeah, bi-weekly uh meeting tomorrow with the baseball project, but it's on it's going on schedule. They hope to have the uh the grass in end of October, first week of November. Uh, you can

003see there's a lot going on. There's a foul pole over there on the one side now, which looks really cool. The yellow pole. Um the weather's been really cooperative except over the weekend today, but they were still working at it today. Uh the fitness center, uh unfort they were supposed to actually start um they actually started in the back. If you look out back, they ripped out the grass area and all that to the port of footers so they can get the um the braces set up and they can get all closed in. There was an unfortunate uh death in the family of the contractor. So, they're hopefully going to start this week. Uh, I was hoping it was going to be today, but I don't know if they were there today or not, but

004we have the bi-weekly meeting with them tomorrow. I'll see where that is. But the big lead time was on the the skill that would um close that in on the footer. So, they really there's no time lost because there were there was lead time on materials. >> Thank you. >> I hope I did good. >> Are there any board members that have questions for Mr. regarding the paving project or any other projects. >> Did you give it the dollar amount >> for the paving projects? Uh you did at the original committee of the whole I don't think they're listed in here. >> No, it isn't. That's why I was asking >> the prices. >> Yes, please. >> Gibson Thomas total price was 39,000. >> 39,000 for Gibson Thomas. >> Any other questions from the board

005for committee of a whole? Are there any announcements from administrators for committee of the whole? Okay, thank you. So that'll conclude the committee of the whole meeting. That was from 6:10 to 6:13. We'll now proceed into the regular boarding board meeting agenda. Will everyone please come to order with the pledge of allegiance? to the flag of the United States of America and to the stands. One nation, indivisible, liberty and justice for all. >> Mr. Secretary, roll call, please. >> Miss Bennett, >> present. >> Mrs. Boyd, >> present. Mrs. Brown >> here. >> Mrs. Gamble >> here. >> Mr. Gilbert >> here. >> Mrs. Hutchinson >> here. >> Mr. Knuck >> here. >> Mrs. Cromwell >> here. >> Mr. Steph >> here. >> Nine present. >> Mr. Secretary, will you please give us an executive session

006report? >> Uh, yes. Let me update for tonight real quick. Okay. On October 1st, 2025 from 4:01 p.m. to 4:51 p.m., uh personnel uh on a professional employee and the superintendent's contract was discussed in executive session and uh school safety was also talked that executive session. Then on October 13th, 2025, from 3:22 p.m. to 4:20 p.m., school safety was talked about again. Uh personnel was talked about at that meeting and legal litigation was talked at that meeting as well. And then tonight from 5:30 to 6:02, we were talking about um personnel uh and uh uh school safety. >> And that's all I have. >> To be a sickler again. >> Hi Joe Wells. Like to make Joe Wells. >> Hi. Uh I I've had conversations before, but as a reminder, as you guys are going

007into the new school year, uh when you're giving your executive session reports, you have to give enough information to let the public know what exactly was discussed. You have your things you're allowed to keep, but enough that the people in the public can know exactly what that is. So, if you can make that objection be known in your minutes, and please provide additional details if you're able to tonight or at a later date. Thank you. Are there any motions to amend or add to tonight's agenda? Having none, there's no need for public comment on those motions to amend or add. Under old business, I'm asking for a motion that the approval be given to the minutes of the September 15th, 2025 committee of the whole meeting, the minutes of the September 15th regular board meeting,

008and the minutes of the October 1st special board meeting. >> Moved to second. >> Having a motion and a second, all those in favor, please indicate by saying I. >> I. Any opposed? The minutes carry. I'm asking for a motion to remove from table the motion that was related to the fall 2025 Pennsylvania youth survey which will now appear on tonight's agenda. >> Move second. >> Having a motion and a second. All those in favor of removing the pays survey from table, please indicate by saying I. >> I. >> Are there any opposed? >> The motion carries. Are there any follow-ups on previous agendas? Okay. Thank you. We did not have anyone sign up for hearing of citizens this evening. So, we will move into reports. Mr. Secretary, do you have any correspondence to share

009with us this evening? >> None this evening. >> Thank you. Sitting in for Dr. Dark Angelo, the superintendent's report will be done by Justin Zahorch. Yeah, I I would just like to take a few moments to uh thank sincerely Dr. Dark Angelo uh for his time. He was absolutely critical in guiding us and our district through a time of administrative transition. And I can't say enough about Dr. D and what he's done for our district and also for me as a leader. Uh his mentorship and steady hand uh were truly invaluable for us. I'm looking forward to uh Mr. Matt Moles, our new superintendent and uh his energy, his perspective uh that he's going to bring to our school district. And I think this transition really represents a really exciting new chapter for our district

010uh and our community. I'm also excited to welcome Jennifer Capusta, our new special ed director. And u she brings some strong experience and a clear passion for support supporting students, families, and staff. And uh her leadership uh she she'll be exceptional for our team. Uh overall, I think things have been really positive throughout the school district this year. Uh both Bat and Jennifer are going to play a huge part in that. U we do have an outstanding staff. We have a supportive community and our board is as committed as I've ever seen a board. So, thank thank you board. And uh the foundation here in our district is really strong. I think with some new leadership, I'm confident that we're going to be position ourselves for success. Thank you, Mr. >> Thank you. And just

011so those of you that are in attendance know, Mr. Moles is with us here this evening, sitting beside Mr. Cos. Hi. >> Thank you. So, thank you for attending and starting to get briefed on everything as we go. Uh, solicitors report. Mr. Mata, do you have anything to report? >> I only have one item. Uh, later on this week, uh, the, uh, the future superintendent, Mr. Moles, and myself will be going to uh, the West Morning Court of Comant, and he will begin at the beginning of the month. >> Thank you. Ligonier Valley Education Association report. I knew it wasn't Linda today. >> Uh, good evening. I'm Dave Forbath. I teach fourth grade out here at L Valley Elementary. So, here is just a snapshot of some of the good things happening across the district.

012At the high school, Mr. Blasco and the Youth and Government Club visited the Flight 93 National Memorial on October 2nd. Despite the government shutdown and the visitor center being closed and not having any national park services available, Mr. Blasco was able to invite West Morland County Detective Ron Zona to speak to his group via phone and share his experiences on September 11th, 2001. Mr. Zona was a state police officer who responded to Shanksville minutes after the crash of flight 93. He detailed the 13 days he spent at the site direct with our students. Mrs. Caroline accompanied the Interact Club to Lake Gardens in September. There they visited, spent time, baked, and played games with the residents. Their next visit will be to Beth Homes. Dr. Crack introduced the homecoming court October 3rd and led the

013student body in a rousing pep rally to cheer on the Rams football team. Lucas Kger and Sydney Hoyman were crowned at the homecoming ceremony that night, and it was a victory for the Rams. At the middle school, Mrs. Stall reports that her eighth grade ELA classes read a short story in which a high school girl has to choose between being in the in crowd of bullies or supporting her friend. She reminded her class the story was written 60 years ago and asked her class to respond in writing to the following prompts. With all the programs and assemblies and rules, why are we still struggling with bullying? What they did was humbling and inspiring. Her class decided to knock out negativity and collaborated to design a bulletin board dedicated to shoutouts that is nearly covered in

014positivity and in kindness. At the elementary level, Miss Munch, the speech language teacher, espouses the belief that learning is always easier when it is fun. Students played ring toss using some glow sticks in the new articulation cards the district purchased this year. Some students have made profound advancements in their articulation abilities. Uh, Miss Stevenson and the second grade melon have been hard at work learning all about the life cycle of apples. And recently they put their knowledge to the test during an exciting apple day filled with hands-on science, engineering, and creativity. Students explored Newton's laws of motion and friction, tested hypotheses, and created apple themed posters. Mrs. Story started a monthly reading challenge at both LVE and RKM. Each month, students get to choose if they want to read 30 books in a month or

015300 minutes in a month. Any active reading counts. A student reads to another person or the student has someone read to them or they read their on their own. Prizes are given to those who complete the challenge. If a student writes a recommendation for the book wall, they will get a chance to win their choice of the book. And lastly, Mrs. Oats and LV spent some time with their students learning about the Constitution on Constitution Day with a focus on the preamble. In Paris, students illustrated the words of the preamble. Mrs. Oats noted that the students were engaged in conversation about what the words meant and discussed how they would represent them in images. The preamble and their pictures are currently hanging in the hallway for all to see. >> Thank you very much. Excellent

016report. >> Director Brown, I'll let you take the EWCTC information tonight. >> Okay. So, as school is moving on, EWCTC is getting much busier. So, I'm going to give you an announcement first coming up. So, just like our RA program in our district, EWCTC has a program called Respect. Um, and there is a um They think the same kind of things that we do, you know, monthly. But I just want they had a a donation that I just I think is just really like cool is worth mentioning. Says, "Mr. Dean Miller of Frank Latroe Ligonier and Dair presented Mr. Chris Cam, principal of EWTC with a $2,500 check. FOLD will be sponsoring $10 gift cards to EWTC's and Cafe for each student recognized as a respect student of the month during the 256 school year.

017The respect program is a student developed character education program in which positive behaviors for life at the workplace are the focus. The the acronym respect encompasses responsibility, excellence, self-control, pride, ethics, communication, and teamwork. EWCTC students are expected to follow the respect guidelines in and out of the classroom. So, I just thought that was really cool. So thank you to Dean Miller from France William and Derry. And so upcoming events um this weekend we'll have a blood drive um over the health occupations. We're having a blood drive. It is this Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Um if anybody uh you know wants to donate you have to call over there and get scheduled in. So that is um Friday. So go get rid of some of your life. Um and then we have open

018house for the current students is next Monday, October 27th from 5 to 7:30. Uh they will be having program tours, face painting, uh trick or treating. And so if any of the parents have students that are already in EWC, but you want kids to go and check it out, that's a good time to go. And on November 7th, our sixth graders will actually be going for their this great tour over at EWTC. So, a lot of things happen. >> Thank you very much. So, good things over at EWCTC and then we'll turn to bad things with Director Boyd and the intermediate unit. >> So, on September 23rd uh was the last Westland intermediate unit board meeting. Um there was an executive session where a grievance was presented, survey results from the BA were explained and

019a personnel matter was discussed. After a 45minute delay, the regular board meeting started. As we proceed proceeded through the agenda, some of the notable items were uh removed from table item FS2526005 uh to grant permission for draw collector to proceed with preparation of bid specifications. The comprehens comprehensive plan along with six policies were approved. There were and approval of hiring one new special education teacher and one new personal care assistant assistant. The 2026 PSBA officer elections were completed and um there was a review of general operating budget information across all the IUs across the state. At the conclusion of the meeting, we once again returned into a second executive session to continue a discussion regarding personnel. And at 9:45 p.m., that meeting finally concluded. In addition to the regular meeting, there were two other additional

020Zoom meetings held, uh, one regarding the possibility of legal issues and options regarding the parking lot issues at Clear View, and one to discuss a contingency plan if the state budget impass continues. And I would like to thank um Director Gilbert and Mr. for their guidance because there's been a lot going on over there and I've needed support. >> Thank you very much for that report. With public relations, I believe Mr. Marabido has someone to introduce for us. Good evening, guys. I'm going to go ahead and pass this off to one of our uh one of our students here at LVE. He's a fifth grader. I'm going to let him do the introductions, and he's been working hard on this, and I know he'll do a great job. >> Good evening, Lincoln Valley School Board.

021My name is Deacon Beman. I'm a fifth grader here at LV. Outside of school, I play basketball, baseball, I'm a boy scout and I play the saxophone in our school band. Last year, I was a student council representative and hope to be elected to represent my school again this year. On November 4th, LVE will participate election day. We learned how grown-ups elect people to represent us in our government and elect our student council representatives. In fifth grade this year, we've gone on many field trips. We went to the middle school and made hovercrafts. These were made out of a big plastic bag, a big metal ring, and a leaf blower. We learned how to work as a team and not give up cuz we did this without any help from the teachers. Every Monday and

022Tuesday, we have started swimming at the YMCA. We do a lot of fun activities while learning how to swim. Also in fifth grade, we just finished writing our pride essays. We wrote an introduction, three body paragraphs, and a conclusion about what RAM pride means to us in ways that we are able to show our RAM pride. My favorite ways to show RAM pride are listening to the adults in the building, being a good role model for younger students, and always including everyone in activities. Our whole school has been enjoying this year's monthly rewards. In September, we had a pep rally where the Cheerleaders cheered and we got a visit from some high school friends and our mascot. We're looking forward to our monster mash at the end of October. We are all where we all

023wear our costumes and have a dance party in the gym. Grades 3 to 5 have been participating in a math fact competition called Sundog where there are 10,000 questions to complete in a week. Most recently at LVE, third and fourth grade were in the top 20 and fifth grade achieved 35th out of over 350 schools. To conclude, keep an eye out on the diamond for the LVE grade five gifted scarecrow. Miss Cards helped us build Steve and the Chicken Jockey from the Minecraft movie. Look for the little green guy and vote for LVE. Thank you for visiting our school and I hope you all have a great night. [Applause] So, did you enjoy the leaf blower hoverboards? >> The the leaf blower hoverboards. >> How did you do? >> Really good. >> Okay. >> And

024uh Director Gilbert, I actually believe we have an LVE um alum here to give a report from the high school as well. >> Perfect. Thank you very much. Good evening everyone. My name is Maddie Peters and I'm currently a senior at LBHS. I was graciously elected president of student council for our 2025 to 2026 school year. I've been a member of student council for the past four years. Along with student council, I'm a member of National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society where I serve as treasurer, National Art Honor Society, SAD, where I'm also the treasurer, and game changers. In these clubs, as I've mentioned, I hold various officer positions. I'm also a four-year member of our Lady Ram softball team. Outside of school, I offer my time at Fairfield Fire Department. Fairfield Fire Department.

025I have been an active firefighter for the past three years. I have taken all of the classes I'm able to take while still being a junior member. Once I turn 18, I plan to take my final class, which will give me my certification to enter a boarding building. Now, moving away from me, we move to go to what's been going on at the high school. We have grown from six members to a total of 36 members in two months. I'm hoping the strength in numbers rolls over into our next year after I graduate. We have gone on one field trip so far. It was called You've Got a Friend Day. 12 of our student council members have participated in this event at Twin Lakes Park in Greensburg. This involved the majority of schools from West

026Morland County. The students were paired up with a child with special needs to spend the day with them. The the activities included powder boarding on the lake, hay rides, the petting zoo, an animal exhibit, carnival rides, and games. The student council was also in charge of spirit week for homecoming. The student body was asked to dress in themes throughout the week. A lot of kids were asking us what the themes were weeks before the events were even happening because it was a fun activity. We try to make something that all students can participate in. This year the themes were soccer mom versus cat barbecue dad for Monday, camel day for Tuesday, comfy day was our Wednesday, Thursday for Thursday, and we finished up the week with red and black day by different grade levels. On

027that Friday before the homecoming game, we had a Tik Tok bead challenge. To bring some additional school spirit to the homecoming festivities, student council brought 800 red and black bees to play a Tik Tok challenge that has been trending across the United States. Each student was given a single beat in home room, but but a member of student by a member of student council. Throughout the day, students, teachers, and staff could play the infamous rock, paper, scissors game to either win or lose their beats. Students could challenge the teachers once they earned 10 beaded necklaces. The bead challenge was not to be played during class. It was in the hallways and at lunch. At the beginning of the homecoming pep rally, students were to finish a challenge with the final being one student from each

028grade level. It ended up being a challenge between two teachers and a sophomore student because several just had just lost their bees to the teachers. Grace and Docky won the challenge and the $25 sheets gift card. The students, the kids have asked if we will play this game again. when we have our spikeball tournament in November. Currently, we are having a door decorating contest at the school. Student council will be giving away three prizes to the home rooms, clubs or stu or sports organizing the different doors. First, each first place category of scariest store, funniest store, and most creative. We've asked our two art teachers at the high school to be the judges. We'll continue to build school spirit and pride with the Christmas store decorations will be which will be going on in December.

029Now we'll be having hat days at the high school. This Friday, we'll be sponsoring our first ever hat day. This will continue for one day each month throughout the rest of the school year. Students, sta, teachers, and staff donate $1 to wear a hat of their choice as long as it is school appropriate. Student council members will collect the donations from home room. Each month, a new charity will be picked to donate to. This month we have voted on and agreed to donate the money to West Morland County Food Bank who will receive the donation. Next week we have two events planned. Student council will be sponsoring a club fair in the gymnasium during both seminars A and B on Tuesday. To date there are 10 different clubs, national honor societies and sports signed up.

030We have opened the event to just not clubs but also sports and honor societies. Each organization will get a table to display their information and student and have their students explain their information. Also, next week we have a Halloween party planned with the life skills classrooms. We bought pumpkins from K's family farms and they will get to decorate with funny face stickers. We also have treat bags prepared for them. I was lucky enough to get some small pumpkins and cords to also go in their treat bags for them. And finally, hopefully we'll be making our cafeteria a little bit more welcoming by decorating with seasonal themes. Currently, we have numerous fall decorations lining the walls and we switch out to the winter season with snowflakes and snowmen in in December. Some of the other things

031happening at the high school right now. Ligonier Valley High School will presenting this year's fall play, Parents Just Don't Understand, on Saturday, November 1st at 7 p.m. and on Sunday, November 2nd at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students and senior citizens. Currently, Tyler Jones and Addy Mikausski are playing at the PIAAA Individual Golf Championships at Penn State. First round championship first round and championship round will be held on today, October 20th, and tomorrow, October 21st. Our students and staff wish Tyler and Addie good luck in a sendoff parade this past Friday. Gregory Slesman was recently named football player of the week in the trip live for his performance against Charlotte on October 3rd. He had two interceptions returns for touchdown, setting a new school record. He also holds the record

032for the longest interception return for touchdown, which is 72 yards. We are pleased to share the success of our recent schoolwide effort in honoring our national breast cancer awareness month. This year, the the sign significance of supporting breast cancer awareness took a deep meaning for our district members. As a member of our own LBSD family were personally impacted by diagnosis. With the enthusiastic backing of our administration, our district launched Pinkout Wednesdays. As a symbol of our collective support, we are happy to report that 430 shirts were sold and we'll be making a donation of $3,035 to West Morland Walks, a local organization that provides direct support to local breast cancer patients, survivors, and their families. Level One also discounted their final invoice to contribute to our donations. Thank you all for your tremendous and generous

033support for the great cause LV wears pink. With the guidance of Dr. Crack. The senior cl The senior class voted to select six couples to represent senior class at homecoming. The six couples brainstormed ideas with Dr. Crack for a theme for the pep rally which was throughout the years where each couple dressed in a style of their chosen decade. To make the pep rally more inclusive of the other grades and to make it student centered, the six couples and officers from other grade levels competed in a series of fun relay races that had the whole gymnasium cheering with excitement. Dr. Crack and the homecoming court made sure the LER Valley Rams were pumped up and energized for the game and the rest of the homecoming events. On Saturday, October 4th, the high school annual homecoming

034dance was a huge success. Sponsored by the cheerleading team, this year's theme was a night under the stars. Set the stage for a memorable evening. More than 225 students attended the event, enjoying a night filled with music, dancing, delicious food, and plenty of fun. The decorations and energy created a festive atmosphere that perfectly captured the spirit of homecoming. Big thank you goes out to the cheerle cheerleading team boosters and all the volunteers who helped make the night such a wonderful celebration for our students. Moving away from the high school, we go to the middle school. On Friday, September 26, 2025, Ligonier Valley High School host or middle school hosted its 33 annual 5K race. We are proud to share that 94% of their students participated in this long-standing school tradition. A special thank you goes

035out to our Ligoner Valley cross country team for completing warm-ups and stretches before the race. We also extend our gratitude to our first responders and volunteers who helped ensure a safe and successful event for all participants. That is all I have for you tonight. Um I can assure you that the administration is looking that and we think we have a solution that will be presented in the near future. >> Thank you for that information. Director Brown for policy and legal. >> Um I have no motions but I do have some information. We have um been steadfastly working in policy legal to um try and get caught back up right when we were moving things on to the website policies and format. that was whenever pastor uh director passed away that was kind

041of like his thing. Um so we are now um back into doing that again. So next next month at the committee meeting of the whole uh we will have a presentation by Mason from Digi Communities which we are looking at possibly as as a um possibility to house our policies. Right now our policies are all online. there's psot like click the hyperlinks they don't work that kind of thing I have been working at trying to get all the policies all the attachments because by law all the attachments that go policies have to be on the website they never were before uh and so but when I was doing that I thought hey you can't access those anyways because they're hyperlinks um so if you're interested in seeing that um presentation that will be at next

042month's Thank you very much. Are there any school board director comments for this evening? >> Yes, I have um at the last month's meeting, Mrs. Settler, and I see she's here tonight again to address the board about the inequitable cyber funding formula. I spoke briefly about the same subject and the taxpayer dollars that are being used for frivolous spending by all cyber charters across the state. But let me be clear. I am not opposed to parent student choice of their educational model for students. The public school act of 1949 guarantees every student of school age a free education. However, I am adamantly opposed to the lack of an equitable funding formula. And this has been costing the public education taxpayers, that's all of you out there and all of us sitting up here as well

043for cyber waste for well over a decade. An example of that at the Lincoln Valley School District, I contacted Mr. Kosas. Um during the 2324 school year, our total cost for cyber education was $1,689,000 689,322. That was for 96 students, but not all attended the full year. That tends to happen. They kind of come in and go out. During the next school year, the 2425, the same cost was within the same parameters, 1,678,052 again for 95 students. And again, they didn't stay stick with it for the whole year. Each week, the education voters of Pennsylvania group post a cyber charter waste of the week. Some of the examples are of what they're spending our money, your money on are axe throwing, lottery parties, tickets to indoor and outdoor amusement parks. One school during the 2425

044school year spent 2,733,610 to one company for a variety of advertising. That's $444 per student. Incidentally, cyber charters continue to purchase property. Now, remember, cyber is supposed to be virtual education. So, if they're using money to purchase property, apparently they have way too much of your money. They're having to find a way to spend it. Mr. Kosha shared with the board on October the 13th some proposed figures on the yettobe pass state budget. These figures did include some promising relief if if it happens, but the difference of $117,000 584 between cyber transition is what one of the proposals is called and the um Senate Bill 160 House proposal. That's a big difference. So, we don't know what we're going to get if we're going to get anything. Um the uh cyber transition their proposal was

045$162,000 and the house bill 279,000. That's a difference about about 117,000. That's a lot of a big difference. Um it would make somewhat of a difference in our budget, but we don't know that it's going to happen, do we? No. Here we sit again. Every year we have to get our proposal into the state what we're going to spend, but we don't have any idea what we're going to get from them or when we're going to get it. So, just remember those are your tax dollars for um some very frivolous spending that is continuing in the summer chart process. Thank you. >> Can I ask you a question regarding that? >> Yes. Do crushes give you a number of per student. What is a number per student? Do you have that? >> Well, you don't

046really know how much per student because it depends on what you can ask. >> It's different for special ed and regular red students. Yeah. >> Yeah, special ed is different. >> Can you remind the audience what difference between special ed? >> I think it or I it's around 11 to 12,000 for regular ed and about 26 to 27,000 for special ed. each of those years there's a significant difference. Yes. >> And what is the cost approximately for your student to attend the public school or online? >> Our through um e Academy through the IU >> either the brick and mort. >> Well, we we do our side through IU. Yeah, that's significantly a lot less than that. It's based on per credit. Uh I have to check with Janine, but it's way well way lower

047than that. So our regular end students in the brick and are they around 13,000? >> Well, it dep see I caution you on that because you got there's you can't compare those ones because cyber schools doesn't include all the costs that a regular school district has. So it's really a different comparison on that u because there's a lot of factors that regular schools like the facilities that they have that they don't have the cyber schools. So but we can do it internally through our system a lot cheaper than the outside cyber school. >> There's a vast difference between the two. >> Yes. And even for the district, um, when we have a special needs student, we don't just mult them all together or everything and and take match amount. We do it based on the

048exceptionality, which could be a lot less than otherwise. >> Exactly. >> Thank you. Uh, Miss Hutchinson, if I may. Um, I have a district that is partnering with several other districts here in Western Pennsylvania um that is going to be filing an action against the charter schools here in the coming weeks. Um, once we move that >> once I've been doing it for 10 years, >> once Mr. Moles gets on board, I'll get him. Um I believe that probably some of the data from leaker would fit where we're the the complaint we're trying to make but um I think it we have a very good ch chance of being successful in that. We really need to and back in the beginning at least 10 years ago I can't even remember how how long it's been

049that we met with some school directors from Alagy County School District where they were encountering the same thing and you know we've had promises that they're going to rectify the funding formula. It just simply hasn't happened. So thank you. Thank you for the time and thank you for your comments. >> Anyone else from the board? >> Yeah, I I just have a The reason that if you remember the reason that the pays motion was pulled from the agenda last month was because there was not a sufficient way to be able to access all of the questions. Um so uh Mr. Zorch and I worked that out and on tonight's um agenda after that motion and when you get online uh there is an attachment called survey questions. It is a PDF of all the survey

050questions that the parents can look at. So you can see what kind of questions are going to be in that case survey um when it is given to the what is it 68 10 12th grade >> and you should have received a text message earlier today as well. >> Anyone else? >> Uh I have two things either Mrs. Hutchinson or Mr. Psycho. Uh, where do we stand on our T-Mobile awards? Did we get to Did we go through to the next month? >> Uh, no, we did not. >> We $25,000. We did not make it, but we did. Everybody did a great job, >> but without the first. >> Yes. >> And Mr. Mayor, I'd like to thank you for hosting us here this evening for the school board meeting. and uh you're doing a

051wonderful job with all these kids as was evident by the student report that you had this evening. Thank you very much. >> Good staff. >> Thank you. And the staff of course. Yes. Future dates and activities on November the 10th at the administration building in town at 4:00 will be the committee of the whole agenda setting meeting. Followed one week later on the 17th at the high school. We will have the committee of the whole presentation at 6:00 immediately followed by the regular board meeting. If no one else has anything, I will entertain motions for adjournment. >> Move second. >> Having a motion and a second, all those in favor of adjournment, please indicate by saying I. >> I. >> Any opposed? >> Motion carries for adjournment at 6:56. >> Thank you everyone.
