006in yellow. We need to add K County Public Schools. >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. >> That's for BB. >> Yes, sir. >> So, it's not on that. In other words, that change has not been made yet. >> No, it's not on here. No sir. >> 21. >> As well as um the date change. It should be um the revision should be 2025 instead of 2015. >> 11:15. 011Dr. Top? It's a council of school boards, whatever. It's a different I know our membership through the National School Board Association is through the South Carolina School Boards Association. Several years ago, ties were severed with the National School Boards Association and we being the South Carolina School Boards Association took up with the and I can't think of the acronym you just called it. It's the Council of School Boards or whatever and we might need to look at changing that before we take second reading. >> Yes, sir. Does this reference the National School Board Association and policy B down that third fourth paragraph? If >> we're not a member, it needs to be deleted. >> Right. Well, or either change it to what organization >> and the same thing on policy BJ when we get to

012that one just a minute. >> I just noticed that when I was looking through it. >> Right. BK schoolboard memberships. Okay. Policy BIE, board member insurance and liability. The district maintains liability insurance to protect the board, its members, and employees. Date change policy BJ, school board legislative program. The policy chairman P is talking about is policy BK, school board memberships and professional associations. It says the board will maintain membership in the state school boards association and participate in its activities with dues paid by the district which also provides indirect membership in the national association. >> What does that mean? Also BJ the policy before that it also references the National School

013Board Association. >> So you're not a member of that in is what you're saying. >> Yes sir. >> You can just do a search and anywhere it says National School Board Association. >> You just need to update it to the current organization which is CASPA COSSBA I think it is. >> And Dr. Tull we can find out. I can find the name of it out if you want to. Dr. Ter can find that out. But we'll get that. >> Um >> so you make changes on two of them. two BJ and BK. >> So I believe Miss Kaylor that is policy BJ >> BJ BK and then there's one prior to that >> I believe was it B I E as well. >> Yeah. >> Yes sir. >> I think that was it. >> Yeah

014the B >> and B. >> Oh yeah. >> So I've got B I D BJ and >> it mention BIE. >> Yeah. Let me go back. >> I don't see it in BIE. >> I don't see it in B. B though. >> Yeah, it's in B. >> Yes, it's in B. >> B is in dog. >> Yes. The board must approve travel. It's in that paragraph. >> BJ and BK. >> Correct. >> B I D, BJ, and BK. >> Right. >> Yes, sir. >> So, it's three. >> Yeah. Right. Okay. [clears throat] Thank you. I'm sorry, Miss. >> No, sir. Those are the ones. >> Okay. And the N highlighted. Well, those that's a correction. So, are there any questions? Because that's the last policy. We have those notes to make the corrections for B,

015BJ, and BK. All right. Anybody have any questions? [snorts] Then do I hear a motion to take first reading on the amendments to policies? Again, the ones that are listed in the agenda without repeating all of them. >> Kevin, you count them as 25. >> 20 policies and two administrative rules. >> Okay. 25 policies and >> 20 21 >> 20 policies >> and two administrative rules >> and what's that GDC support? >> That's a policy. >> Okay. >> All right. So that's that that that one's included in the 20. >> So it's 20 policies and two administrative rules >> that are listed in the agenda and then we we're going to note it as such. So I hear a motion to take first reading on the amendments to those policies. At this time, >> I

016make a motion that we take first reading um on the 20 policies and the two administrative rules that were presented uh in in tonight's in Miss Keller's presentation on tonight. >> All right. You heard Mr. Jenkins motion. Is there a second? >> Second with the addition to she's for us, >> right? Uh and that before we take second reading, obviously we'll we'll wait to get those amended. And those three policies are policy B, policy BJ, and policy BK where we'll need to change the name from the National School Board Association to the current national organization. And we'll do that, include that in second reading, and that'll take care of it. All right. Uh so we got a motion and a second then to take first reading on the adoption of the amendments to these uh

01720 policies and two administrative rules. Is there any discussion? Any further discussion? If not, all those in favor of that motion to take first reading on those 20 policies and two administrative rules. Please signify by saying I. >> I. All oppose? No. The motion carries. Thank you, Miss Keller. Thank you, sir. Uh, next on the agenda is an executive session for personnel recommendations and resignations. Do I hear a motion at this time? Well, you all had changed anything as far as the agenda, right? I hear a motion at this time to go into executive session um for personnel recommendations and resignations. >> Make a motion that we go into executive session uh to discuss to discuss personnel recommendations and resignations. And upon completion, we return to regular session. >> All right. Mr. Jenkins has made

018the motion to go into executive session to discuss uh personnel recommendations and resignations and to return to open session upon completion of our discussion. Is there any is there a second? >> Second. >> Motion and a second. Is there any discussion? If not, all those in favor of that motion to go into executive session for discussion on personnel matters and then to return upon completion of our discussion, please signify by saying I. >> I. All oppose. No. That motion carries and we'll go into executive session and cross go into conference room. Right. All right, we're back in open session. Is there any business to come before the board at this time? >> Make a motion that we accept the employee uh the recommendations presented by the superintendent. >> All right. Uh motion to accept the

019employee recommendations as presented by the superintendent. Is there a second? >> Second. >> Motion and a second. Is there any discussion? None. >> If not, all those in favor of that motion to accept the employee recommendations uh by the superintendent, please signify by saying I. >> I. All oppose? No. Motion [clears throat] carries. Um is there any further business to come before the board? If not, do I hear a motion to adjurnn? >> I move we adjourn. >> Uh we motion to adjurnn. Is there a second? >> Second. >> Motion and a second. Uh is there any discussion? Not. All those in favor of the motion to adjurnn, please signify by saying I. >> I. All oppose.
