All right, I call to order the committee of the whole. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Thank you. We're all here. Well done, everybody. Um item number five, confirmation of sale of house construction project, Mr. Melky and Mr. Duff. Oh, let's approve the agenda. >> [clears throat] >> Is there a motion to approve the agenda? So moved. Second. Any discussion? All in favor? Aye. Motion carries. Thank you. We're all here. Number five. All right. Good evening, everyone. This is house number 27, take three. >> [laughter] >> Come to this board first in September, and again in November, and now in May with a third and hopefully final agreed upon offer

to purchase. We Our fingers are crossed. We feel good about contingencies, this being one, board approval. Offer agreed upon offer of $420,000. This house has been on the market for next week it'll be a full year. We've had a couple of price reductions to get to that number. Looking to close on or before June 26th. Just for reference, at last accounting, this house with the lot included cost around $356,000 for us to build. So, after close and everything, we should be netting about 60,000. So, that's still in a good place for us to continue to acquire property in the future and then maintain this great program that we have in our district. So, take any questions from the board about this offer. I have a question. Yes, sir. Um in the contingencies it says the

builder hereby guarantees blah blah blah workmanship. Yeah. For a year. Yeah. Fix things no cost to the buyer. Yeah. And I know who the seller is, I know who the owner is, I know who the buyer is, you know, but builder I don't see spelled out in the here. So, we're the builder? Yeah. The district? Yes. Okay. Ted Sherman, that's the one who would be the kind of project manager, the instructor. So, when we do have situations like that, and we do, within that year time frame, they reach out to us and Ted It's nice cuz we're we're right in that same neighborhood still. So, yeah, he just works with them. He goes over and takes a look at what their concerns are and we address it. And we need to pull in contractors or

whoever to to deal with it or >> Quickly not. It's usually and it's been like like a door is sticking, you know, settling of the house and they'll say, "Can you come in and adjust the door?" You know, things like that. It's been nothing really major. It's been a There's a flooring thing once where flooring I think again with the settling in one room, they asked for some adjustment to that. So, he just came in and he could do that. All right. All right. Good. Thank you. Any other questions? All right. So, is there a motion to approve approve the sale of the residential property at 2825 Stony Brook Drive um for the accepted offer of $420,000 and closing scheduled on or before June 26th? So moved. I'll second. Any discussion? All in favor? Aye.

Motion [clears throat] carries. Thank you very much. >> Third time's the charm. Okay. Um to adjourn to close session, um we will take the vote for adjournment with the roll call vote. You have to read it, so I need to read it out loud. Um per state statute section 19.1851c to consider employment, promotion, compensation, or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the Board of Education has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility for the purpose of deliberating strategies to address specific issues pertaining to collective bargaining for teachers. Is there a motion? So moved. Second. Any discussion? All right, let's roll call vote. Aye. Aye. Aye. Aye. Aye. Aye. Aye. Aye. Aye. Motion carries. We are adjourned. Thank you. I can't believe it's raining right over there. Thank you for being flexible. I only have one

more after hours. That's it. Now they can try to pass it on to me now today if I don't win. I know, it's very exciting. No, I'm surprised that you're being nice. That's why I'm coming in. Girl, you're a You look like the mayor.
