It's true. I call this a reorganizational meeting of the Stoney Area School District Board of Education to order. Rachel, will you administer the oaths oaths of office, please? Okay. Sharon and Tim, if you two can both stand and raise your right hand. Okay. And you will read starting at I. In unison or one at a time? >> In unison. All right. I, Timothy Buban Sharon Mailen Barlet having been elected or appointed to the office of the Stoney Area School District Board of Education but have >> not yet entered upon the duties thereof, where or affirm that I will support the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the state of Wisconsin and will faithfully discharge the duties of said office to the best of my ability, so help me God. All right. >>
Thank you. I can sign it? Yep, go ahead and sign. Okay. It's official. You're back. Three more years. Congratulations to you both. Jeffrey took his oath last last week and he is not able to be with us this evening, but he did take his oath and and fulfilled that obligation. So, he'll be joining us when he returns. So, when Rachel gets situated, can you call the roll? Ready. Mr. Tim Buban? Here. Ms. Mia Croyle? Here. Mr. Jim Moser? Here. Ms. Dawn Garcia? Here. Ms. Lisa Pugh? Here. Ms. Allison Sorg? Here. Dr. Sharon Milan Bartlett? Here. Jeffrey Leveridge is excused and President Jill Patterson? Here, although I'm not sure if I'm president in this present moment. >> Oh, Jill Patterson? Here. Okay, thank you. >> Thank you. Next order of business will be election of officers,
so I will open up um nominations for the office of board president. Are there any nominations for the office of board president? I nominate Jill Patterson. Second. Jill, will you accept? Yes. Are there any other nominations for the office of board president? That's two. One more time, are there any other nominations for the office of board president? I now close the nominations for um office of board president. Um there is one nominee, Jill Patterson, for um the office of board president. Can we um do a um vote of acclamations for Jill to be board president? All in favor? Second. All opposed? Any opposed? Any abstentions? Patterson abstains. All right. Jill, you are board president. Thank you, Tom. It's the third time and it's still sweet. Kind of gets me. Um it does. It's a weird
thing, but um >> your service. All right, so now it is my duty to call for nominations for the office of board vice president. I nominate Lisa Pew. Second. Seconded by Sorg. Do you accept? I accept. All right. Uh additional nominations for office of board vice president. And one more time. Any other nominations for office of board vice president? All right, seeing none, I'll call the question. All in favor of Pew as vice president. I. >> I. Any opposed? Any abstentions? Pew. Pew abstains. Motion carries. Okay. Uh now we are to clerk clerk. Uh any nominations for the office of board clerk? I nominate Allison Sorg. Second. Seconded by Croyel. Do you accept? Yes. Sorg accepts. Any other nominations for office of board clerk? One more time. Any other nominations for office of board clerk?
All right, seeing none, I'll call the question. All in favor? I. Any opposed? Abstentions? >> Abstain. Sorg abstains. Motion carries. Sorg is our board clerk. And now I will call for nominations for deputy clerk. I nominate Sharon Mylan Bartlett. Is there a second? I'll second. Pew seconds. Do you accept the nomination? I do. Dr. Bartlett accepts. Any other nominations for office of deputy clerk? Any other nominations for deputy clerk? All right, seeing none, I'll call the question. All in favor? I. >> I. Any opposed? Abstentions? Abstain. Dr. Millan Bartlet abstains. And I think we have a new board deputy clerk. I do. All right, one more. Nominations for board treasurer. I nominate Jim Moser. Is there a second? Second. Seconded by Garcia. Mr. Moser, do you accept? Yes. Very good. Any other nominations for office
of board treasurer? One more time. Any other nominations for office of board treasurer? All right, seeing none, I will call the question. All in favor? I. >> I. Any opposed? Abstentions? Abstain. Mr. Moser abstains. And we have now have a full governance panel. All right. Uh proposed board meeting schedule is the next item on the agenda. And I believe this was added to the agenda via board docs, but board docs is down, so no one can probably see it right now. Yes, so it's just it's our First and third Mondays. Mondays, except we do have a Tuesday board meeting September. Mhm. All right. What does the summer look like? Like July. And did we check cross-check against holidays or religious holidays? Okay. So the first meeting of July would be the 6th. Um So, note
to board members, we must meet one meeting per per month or per statutes. So, um if it ends up that we don't have quorum for the July 6th meeting, that meeting could be canceled understanding that we would have to meet July 20th. I can be here the 6th. For the I'm sorry, I didn't hear what date. So, usually the most difficult meeting for attendance is the meeting that's around the 4th of July cuz it's usually close to the, you know, 4th holiday, but >> Mhm. um if it turns out that we don't have enough board members to make quorum, then we would not meet that meeting, which would be fine because we would still meet on the 20th, which would meet our statutory statutory obligations. So, Got it. um but y'all can communicate with Rachel
and Dan and myself about your ability to attend on the 6th. I think we'll probably be fine, but we'll see. Last few years, the meeting has been um ahead of July 4th or on July 4th. So, we've typically canceled that one. Um but this is the first time in a while that it's occurred after the holiday. So, Do we need a motion to approve the calendar? We can. Okay. Um can I get a motion? I move to approve the school board meeting calendar as presented. Second. I didn't catch who that was. >> Aaron. Okay, moved by Bubon and seconded by Dr. Mayland Bartlett. Um any discussion? Rachel, let me just ask and I don't know if you ever talk about depending on what's happening, whether there's ever an opportunity to cancel a meeting, put stuff
to the second one. I know there's things we have to approve. Some things we have to approve at a timely way. Other things we don't, but I personally I'd rather do an hour and a half or two-hour meeting once a month than if there's a month where we could do that versus coming twice. So, I and I'm you haven't decided now. I'm just saying throw it open as a possibility here. Think about that. Especially if there's certain down times in the what we have to work on. I I think that's something we could consider. I think we've met twice we've scheduled twice a month meetings because of the chance that staff will be out. >> or folks will take vacation the same day or whatever. Mhm. If there's an opportunity to consider something different, let's
take it. Okay. Yeah. Okay. >> That's something that governance can take take up. Um yep. Currently in policy we we list it as two means on the first and third. So, if the board adopts a different um meeting sequence, we just have to make sure we adjust policy to like that. >> Thank you. Maybe for the summer that's not a bad thing to consider. Well, I think typically or historically in the summer we do a lot of board learning in one of the meetings. And so, and and based on the results of the board survey, I think we have a robust amount of content that we could do learning on. So, we should discuss that in governance, I think. That may work out, it may not. Um I have made a note. Okay. Um So,
approval of the cal- uh calendar has been um motioned and seconded. And discussion seems to be relatively closed. Yes? All right. All in favor? I. Any opposed? Abstentions? Calendar approved. Uh we are on to regular board meeting agenda format. So again um in board docs, but um not uh up right now, so we have the PDF of what you would see in there. It is our typical agenda sequence um that we follow. You'll notice that there are two spaces where we have contemplate closed sessions. Um those are the two typical places. We try to avoid having a closed session um in the middle of a of a board meeting um because we do stream our our board meetings and that um does create a little bit of a technical glitch, but it has been done
in the past. Um that's why if anyone was wondering why we see two contemplate closed sessions in the agenda, that's why we have that. Those are the two normally find it. Um Any questions? Yeah. Um Sure. Sorry, Jill. No, go ahead. I'm not sure it's so much a question as an observation. When I first opened this, I thought it was the notes from a previous meeting. Our notes are so vague that from meeting to meeting, it's like really hard to detect like what we even covered. And I I understand that like good alignment between the agenda and the meeting notes are, you know, obviously really important, but like could we provide a little more detail, especially for the public who can't join with the live streaming? Um like um could we like name the contracts,
resignations, retirements? Could we like if we pass policies, could we say policy PO 816 blah blah blah relating to tobacco use whatever like just a little bit of detail doesn't necessarily have to go into like what every person said necessarily who made the motions but just painting a little bit more of a picture and that would make people think oh I should really look at the recording for that meeting because they covered you know this following thing. Right now from minutes to minutes it doesn't really give you much to go by. And this is a good area that Jill mentioned around board learning. Best practice is that motion or that minutes reflect the topics on the agenda and all motions but tend to be sparse on conversations for a variety of reasons. One of the
things that I've mentioned to one of the firms that represents the district from time to time is that question and when we are able to bring a representative in and that'll be one of the areas that that they cover. The one area where it does need kind of courtroom style transcription is during expulsion hearings because those are quasi judicial. But currently they the reason they are so sparse is because that's been the best practice that has been given to us. However the board is I want to put I want to put our legal counsel in front of the board so that the board can ask those questions and then make a determination if they want to make adjustments from that. Yes I would say that I think that it would be beneficial to provide some
more context as you're referencing for those people who perhaps aren't able to watch the recording. Um so they at least have some idea of the content that was discussed. So that would be a good topic to bring up with uh legal counsel to see exactly what they would advise as far as information, but not too much detail. One thing we will provide is an older policy. Um WASB does um policy updates and they did one a substantial one a few years back around minutes um which will um Rachel and I after the meeting will provide the board. So then we'll put us a little footnote in the email where you can see that particular question um sharing that you asked about minutes and where they kind of cite what um best practice is and some
of the hang-ups that have come about from providing too much detail in in minutes. Um around that. Particularly if you don't grab get the minutes quite quite correct. Um remember these are all open records and and it's in those open records those that does have some um evidentiary value. So you want to make sure that you um do it well. Did you have a question? Oh, when you say best practice, do you is that code for liability? Like there could be some liability to the district by I mean cuz I think the point about like resignations and contracts, like those are I don't can does a can a member of a public see those names or is that executive content? I can't remember. The so They get in the consent agenda. Uh-huh. So they can
So um okay. Right. So in BoardDocs they anything that's in the public section of BoardDocs they're able able to see. In the minutes, they are they are just a replication of what's the in the agenda. And then what's written out are the motions and the votes of the motions, but not the substance of the conversations with within each of the discussion items. So, if there's a discussion on um a report, it'll say that's the agenda item and that was discussed. But if there was a motion, they'll actually write out the motion, who made the motion, who seconded, and what the vote is. It would seem like we could land in a in a space where the public content from the board meeting gets reflected in the minutes of the board meeting as well. And I
think that's what you're asking for, is you know, we just push that forward as as part baked into the minutes. And then what I want to do is I want to make sure that that the board can talk with legal counsel just to ask that question and make sure from a legal expert what, if any legal liability, there is in terms of moving beyond best practice into something different. Sharon or Jenna? Why don't you go ahead and first? Well, yeah, I was just going to kind of rep I like what you said. Um Why couldn't I think of the word? Anyway, um I mean, a simple way to think and I don't know if it's I don't know if you can do it is I know to, for example, if I'm looking at the minutes
and it references something matches the agenda, I can go to go back to the agenda, click on it. Is there any way not to link? Can we just link that same documents? Any reason consent agenda can't be linked in the minutes? For example, so if I'm reading, you know, consent agenda approved, I click on it and there it is. Or you know, I mean, a little thing like that. Electronically those are all all there, but I think we're talking about printed minutes. Are they in the minute? I'm sorry. Did you want to go? Go ahead. Are they in the minutes electronically? All of that is linked already? I do not I don't know. I don't I don't believe so. It just doesn't concern the first of the agenda and I I feel like that's the
barrier you know, that's a barrier for the public to know that like oh, if I go back to the agenda for this meeting that I'm looking at the minutes and then I click on the links. I mean that's just adding an additional step where it seems like maybe if we linked the same things in the minutes it might just make it a little more accessible. It seems logical to me, but I did I I'm totally fine with consulting with legal on this matter because I don't there might be something we don't know about what could happen. Did you have another comment? Just kind of synthesizing and bringing it back to seeking counsel about it. If the recommendation is to keep it as vague as we currently do, then I think we need to interrogate what's
the purpose of the minutes then. If they're virtually the same document as the agenda itself, then um are we really carrying out what it's intended to do? Do we Do we have a different mechanism that serves that function and maybe we don't need them anymore. I mean I'm sure Robert would have something to say about dismissing that facet of his rules, but you know, the point being like let's just be thoughtful, you know, and not just go through the motions because that's the way it's always done. Let's make sure that the tool is serving its purpose. That's all. Well, you you highlight two two things. One, we have a policy that says we use Robert's Rules as a framework, by the chair and get in the way of the spirit of the board. So, from
that standpoint, we it gives the board grace. But, from a legal standpoint, I believe that legally any open meeting must have minutes attached to it. So, to to the point you made, Sharon, that um we do have to have minutes if the minute if the minutes are um deemed to be best practice to be a subset of reflection of the agenda plus the addition of any motions that were made. Um it Something that I think provides a level of detail beyond what was done prior to the digital era is the fact that we do record them. We do have electronic uh link back to all of our agendas where where they can go to see the actual agendas and any attachments to them, even if they aren't in the links. We can certainly explore that
and have legal counsel come and advise the board as to the options that are in front of it and then make some tweaks tweaks from there. I certainly in this particular era area um I'm um glad that we have a board that wants to be operating in the best interest of the community and a community that is very trusting of the board in the way it does its deliberations. So, I think there I think there are spaces in which we can improve and meet in the middle. I just want to make sure that the board is getting the right information from the the uh right people who would be ultimately if someone is upset with the way we are doing things, are going to be the ones that are going to be represent represent the
board and the district in those matters, so. Uhm, don't mean to be to sound evasive, but I that is definitely one of the things that when it was brought up, I brought to our legal counsel just so that they had a heads up on that. So, uhm, we do have uh, some areas that our staff have asked about. So, in board bites is a brief summary, which is just a paragraph narrative of the agenda, but that is viewed that is audiences for Let's now put that up. Uhm, the uhm, that it that was asked by our by our staff and it is another area and it and because it's on our website, it's viewable by anyone who has access to our, but the audience is for our for our staff, so. But, good questions. Are
there any other follow-ups? >> Yeah, let me just just to be sure. Am I Do I understand you correctly on the same if there the the most the the specific motion that's made and and amended or if not amended or you know, whatever is actually passes, is that in the minutes through the specific words of the motion? >> to be uh Okay. Yep. And as part of part of the part of playing it on the consent agenda, if people have questions about the minutes, uhm, board members have the ability to separate out >> Right. and then can say is this is this accurate or what not and then can make adjustments to the minutes. If I can surmise, I think that the concern would be that the spectrum would be a transcription of the meeting.
And or what we do now. And if we do something in the middle, there it leaves room for wishy-washy around what was left out. And so that's where I think it would be advisable to have legal counsel around if we decide to do something in the middle that's not a transcription of the entire verbal conversation of the meeting. I would I would like an attorney's advice on how to approach that. Yep. So, I I don't know. Just it it has been a long time, but I do remember and maybe this was where legal counsel had told us not to do this anymore. We used to link something a little bit more substantial. And it was a while ago. Would it be possible, rather than transcribe everything, can we just provide a link to so they
can watch the meeting at their leisure. Just I just I I just seems like we need to we're we're we're talking in circles. I mean, we we need to talk to the attorney. I just don't feel comfortable going with anything until we've consulted with the attorney. So, we can do that? Mhm. Yeah, I think we should do a board development with our attorney around this topic. >> ask him all kinds of he him or her all kinds of questions about everything. And we're a little bit off the point of Yeah, cuz he's a complaining the meeting agendas, which is what our motion is. Yeah, I think that's a good point. Okay, so any more discussion on the meeting agenda format? Because that's the topic we're on. And I think that this agenda format is, you
know, a good framework and certainly um can be modified as time goes on. Mhm. So, Just you've mentioned a couple times sort of board development as an idea. Does that fit within the discussion section or where would you stick that? Board development would be outside of the public meeting, right? Would be outside the This is our standard regular board meeting, so board development would be a special special meeting. We usually do it before. It would be Well, as you define it now, you do. Well, it board development would be for informational purposes only and there would be no action taken by the board during board development, so that's why it would not need to be publicly notified because we're not making changes to policy during board development. We're just gaining information about the operations of
the district or This may come up as you as you think about topics to cover and like somebody comes in and talks about what we're doing with uh and how we're dealing with kids with disabilities or among those topics. Is it where is that just a discussion then? Well, it's a it's a learning session. So, where does that fit? It would not be on the agenda. It would It would be in board development. We don't No, that's what I'm asking. Why why would that be only in board development? Because there would be no action needing to be taken if it was just information. Well, it wouldn't be public. I mean It's a noticed meeting though. Yeah, not public either. Not noticed. It's noticed. I'm sorry, what? It's noticed. It's noticed meeting. Public's made aware that
we're having a board development meeting. Sure, and they're all here. Well, they can be. Well, I'm just saying I We'll We'll get into when you talk about topics and other things, but I guess my point is we'll go with the same thing that I've said before in some way is I think we have a responsibility to inform the public along with ourselves on certain things and I don't think having 45-minute meeting by ourselves ahead of a meeting satisfies that aspect of it. I think the ones we've had have been good. They've been good for us. Mhm. Who else knows what's going on? Unless you happen to be in the in the building and in the district. So, I would I mean at some point I would suggest we add the opportunities for you know, you
call it listening session, call it board, call it learning, call it whatever you want, but something that's public. Okay. Lisa? In the past, I seem to remember we have had items on the agenda that were not things that we voted on. For instance, haven't we had like like Kate come in and give us kind of an overview of the report card and we we had talked about like seclusion restraint data. Like Kelly would come and I know we haven't done that lately, but like I thought that that every once in a while we would have a have a discussion topic that wasn't connected to an action. Well, there are certain things that we have to review annually by law >> by the statutory requirement. Which would be include seclusion and restraint things. And um curriculum
things that Kate would talk about. So, I think uh if I can ask one clarification. So, Jim, to your point, the items under discussion items, are you talking about so board development is board is designed for board learning to build background knowledge. Things that come to the board that aren't action items can be listed under discussion items like we did in the board's practice has been that when the even with decision items, the board um historically in that history is almost 4 years old, I'll start with my tenure here, the two-step process that we bring an item that we're going to ask the board to um make a decision on as a discussion item and then the next time is discussion action. If there's a situation which time is a factor or whatnot, the board
has at times moved dis- uh discussion directly to discussion action and done it in one step. But to your point, we do have a space on the regular agenda item that with um the discussion of the board and the board president um vice president myself saying the agenda, we can put things on to the discussion item for for for discussion during a regular board meeting. >> Right. But that isn't the only type of meeting that this board has. The board development, the work groups are his- have been historically developed prior to me coming here to be a space where board can do some learning. And um the space where our task-oriented um things that the board is responsible for doing to to take those things up. The most recent of which is like um climate
and culture work group's been working on a dashboard for belonging, developing the definition belonging and so forth. Educational opportunities has looked at curriculum interventions, things of that nature, and brought forward those recommendations to the board because the board in and of itself wanted to have efficient meetings and have the meetings be uh tied closely to policy discussions and policy decisions that are that are being made. And things that aren't substantively tied to one of those two things were things that were emailed or done in work groups or during board learning sessions. That's That's just to provide context, but but again the the structure of the board determines the function of the board. And so that's kind of if that helps kind of clarify. Well, let me the implication I'm going to just go take that
one step further. The implication are you Are you saying or implying the things that would end up under discussion are are intended to be action items later. Typically, yes. All right. So, but not necessarily. But not necessarily. Okay. Good example will be Monday we will have Lin Breedlove come and give a report on the this past year's community conversations. That will be the board's opportunity in a public session to add to receive the report and then have conversations as a board. What do we want to do moving forward? We receive this and the board can't have a conversation outside of a public hearing on what it tends to do moving forward and it's not a matter of a particular work work group. This is one of those few times where the full board is going
to make have a discussion, but doesn't necessarily need to take formal action on what it wants to do moving forward. So, that would be a prime example of the discussion that you're talking about. Yeah, I think things like that are good and and I would encourage more of those things. Mhm. Lisa, so for instance, I know like in the survey when we were asked about topics, one of the things that I would like more information on is kind of how how we're changing, how we support students with disabilities and with a new student services director, um like what what sorts of things might change or where we're looking for improvement. And so that I guess it sounds like a board learning um a big a big nice juicy board learning time that could uh we
could all learn something more, but I wonder if the public also um might be interested. And we know the hub's not covering um what goes on in board learning. They would report on what we do in our meeting, which I and I just think that some of those things about the good things that our district is doing or if there's something changing, it's nice to have objectively described um information. So, like is even if we would have like a longer board learning session on the topic of how we're supporting students with disabilities, is there a way to move a summary of that into discussion? So, it makes its way into and not just us talking about what we learned, but like, you know, some some other way to bring that information to the public. I
think the one way uh and it's something that we've tried to focus in on in the past is the report section of the agenda. So, prior to the um student rep reporting the district administrator report, we have work group reports that can also be inclusive of board development. Um, and then having whom whomever is giving the report out do um that would be a great opportunity for uh whoever is doing that report to report out on the just of um that work group's agendas and But it wouldn't be coming from the student services director. It would be coming from one of us. It would be if it was a board board development. Uh I think we could have the president report on board development. Okay. You know, I think that could be added or implied
and y'all could remind me about um work group reports and a report on that. I think that that's makes sense. And typically that's an opportunity where when reports are done, historically we've asked are there any questions or things that of that nature. And so, while not formally under the discussion, it becomes um, because it's informational, it's more asking clarifying questions and things of that nature, not a formal not necessarily a formal discussion back and forth of I believe this, well, I believe that, let's meet in the middle type things. It's more a report. Yeah, a report and then asking clarifying questions of you know, did the conversation include this topic? And could you elaborate more on that? Um, Sure. Aaron, go ahead. Do the work group reports have a written component that gets included in
the agenda? And I maybe I've just been missing them or is it is it what we report on orally, you know, taking a turn? Orally. Doesn't have to be. Cuz we're talking about why we don't have like a very transcription kind of summary is because we might miscapture something, right? We might mischaracterize something and yet we're relying on the legislative update to be reported orally, right? Were we lying on the work groups to be reported orally? Like we could perhaps include like a very short summary, a few bullet points of what happens that could be embedded in the packet. And then we can read about that ahead of time and then during the meeting if we've got something that we wanted to showcase or ask for clarification about we could, but then we're not relying
on memory and reporting anymore. And that also paints a clearer picture for the public. Um So, I opportunity for consistency. I think it's difficult because the work groups are varied in schedule. So, sometimes they meet, you know, the hour before, sometimes it's the day before, and I think that puts an under burden on the person that's involved in the work group. Um I think it's more important and I think our focus should be on noticing the fact that work groups are going to be meeting in the future and we do that already. So, if the public wants to know what the work group will be talking about that meeting is posted and they can engage in that conversation as can anyone outside of the work group that belongs to this board. So, go ahead. Can
I suggest that we move this conversation to governance? Um and that, you know, you let us know when this will be discussed in governance so that anyone who might not be normally attending governance but would be interested in this topic can join it. I just think we keep straying pretty far from approving the agenda format and I would concur and I I would encourage that the governance group to look at data and um are we in violation of any state laws? Are we getting lots of feedback on related to transparency or lack of transparency? Um because that's that's what should be guiding us. Um well, I I might prefer something different but at the same time our goal I think is to be transparent while also making sure that we are in compliance with state
statute and laws and so I would I would just encourage that. And you could potentially, sorry, you could potentially get views. I mean, our our meetings are live streamed and up there on YouTube for anyone to watch at any time and our view numbers that I've seen are just really, really low. So, it's not like the public is necessarily clamoring. Right, and I don't think it's our our responsibility. I've I've run boards before and you know, it's the public has a responsibility to to to take the time to watch those meetings and learn what's going on. We can't force-feed them. Um and so I just don't want to go down that rabbit hole where we feel like if somebody doesn't know what's going on, we got to make sure that they know it. Mhm. Mhm.
Okay, well. I mean, we should make sure. Sorry. Go ahead. Anyway, I'm sorry. Okay. Um Jim Like I don't quit that easy. No, I it's dangerous to give me a a box that says suggestions for topics cuz I quit at 15. Um and I don't might have if this goes to governance to work on, I would probably plan to attend, but I think there are a lot of things that go on in the district that are are known to staff and administration and are sort of a black box to the public. Um and I think both for a sense of accountability, but also a sense of there are so many good things going on here. There's so much thought that goes into what how things are done. Whether it's things like how do we plan
our in-service time? You know, so somebody in the public says, "What do all the teachers do during in-service?" I I don't know. They come or they come to you and say "You know, what what are teachers doing those in-service days?" You go, "Well, I don't know." Or uh you know, do we have a capital plan that so we don't have to worry about a referendum 3 4 years necessarily down the road?" I don't know. Um so there are all kinds of things like that, in my opinion, which are the topics I presented that are helpful to us as board members in providing some kind of oversight that there's some accountability, but also a chance to compliment and recognize the good work that goes on. And that's why I think those things should be more public.
Um I realize I have sort of the most flexible time of anybody here, probably. So, you know, I'm that obviously whatever the will of the group is, but that's one of the reasons I think more of this should be open and public. And if governance takes it up, I'll I'll be there. You're on governance now. Oh, am I? Well, then I'll be there. For sure. Okay. So, we're moving that to governance. Do you need a vote? We're going to call a question on the approval of the motion. So moved. Or all in favor? It's moved. >> I. I. Any opposed? No. You're opposed? >> I'm opposing it. All right. Opposed by Bowser. Any abstentions? All right. Uh agenda format is approved. We are on to item G, which is the proposed work group assignments, which
is in progress. I have a draft, but I needed to wait for officer elections before I could finalize. I did take into account all of the preferences submitted by board members, and I will come back with a report at the next regular board meeting. Monday. A week from today. Next week? A week from Oh, yeah. >> Mhm. >> Yeah. All right. Any questions about work groups? Want to change their minds about their work groups? >> I will say there were some work groups that many people wanted to be involved in, so you may not get all the choices you wanted, but I tried my very best to meet everybody in the middle. So, um ensuring that no one had more work group assignments than anybody else, and nobody had severely less, and trying to make
sure that I shared the love of work group chair. So, with that, I would move on to meeting closing. Uh we have a regular board meeting on Monday at 6:30, and then another regular board meeting on May 18th at 6:30 p.m. No work groups are scheduled because the work groups are in progress. If there are no further discussion items related to future meetings, I would entertain a motion for adjournment. So moved. Moved by Bourbon and seconded by Croyel. Any discussion? All in favor? Aye. Aye. Any opposed? Abstentions? Meeting is adjourned.
