Good evening. It's 6:00 and I'd like to call this meeting of the Laramie County School District number one Board of Trustees to order. If you would please stand and join us with the in the Pledge of Allegiance. I'm a Dixon first grade teacher at Afflerbach Elementary School and this is my first grade DLI classroom reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. I pledge All right, Dr. Nettn, do we have any adjustments to tonight's agenda? Madam Chair, there are no adjustments to this evening's agenda. Madam Oh, sorry. Go ahead. Madam Chair, I move to adopt the agenda. And I second. We have a motion and a second to adopt the agenda. All in favor say I. I. Opposed? All right, that has been approved. All right, we are going to move right into recognition of staff and students

for outstanding achievements. Um, our first student is was not able to be here tonight, so we will be saving that one for our next meeting. Um, but for the week of March 30th, um, tonight we will be recognizing Haley Morton, who's an eighth grader at Johnson Junior High School. Haley is going to be recognized by uh, Mr. Steve Embriani and favorite teacher Ken Johnson. If you all are in the room, please come forward. Good evening trustees. Again, my name is Dr. Steven Embriani, and it's my privilege to introduce Haley Morton. She is an eighth grade student for us at Johnson Junior High and was selected because I thought a lot about this. There's a lot of different things about Haley that we really just can't get enough of. She's got a smile on her face

at all times when she's walking around the campus. She makes every effort to do all she can for everyone else around her. She's got excellent grades, excellent uh, attendance. She's a part of the NJHS. Again, Mr. Johnson can uh, add to that. Uh, she is also a part of the track program, which is, you know, one of her favorite things. In fact, I think her salutation is like, what's it say? Your thing is like track. Yeah. She She loves it to death. Um, but in general, this is kind of also what she is, very quiet, kind of to herself, you know, all of that, but so unassuming, but so uh, well taken care of when it comes to how she looks at the things around her and what she really does bring to us. This

is Ken Johnson. This is the teacher that, you know, she brought up as her favorite and I think Ken would like to say a couple of words as well. Uh, I actually came prepared this time. It's good to see you all. Uh, it's me again. Uh, I have to start by thanking the board. Uh, good to see you all and Dr. Newton for continuing this, uh, I've said it before, uh, what we do when we honor our students is is so meaningful to me. And for my part, uh, anytime a student of the week says, you know, that's that's my favorite teacher, that is the highest recognition that I will ever get professionally. Uh, nothing will ever compare to the to these speeches coming up and telling you about my kids. Uh, Dr. Embryani just

kind of touched on everything that really makes Haley, uh, exceptional. You know, her grades, she's a multi-sport athlete, she's an NJHS member. Uh, she's always smiling and really that's that's kind of actually what I want to focus on with Haley. Uh, I spent a lot of time yesterday trying to think, how do I make this student of the week, uh, speech to you all special? What makes Haley who she is? And it really comes down to she absolutely makes every room that she goes into a better place. Uh, teaching is a hard job. Uh, I give up a lot of time, 4 hours yesterday, 3 hours the day before. I miss out on my own daughter's award ceremonies because I need to spend time with my students and they rely on me. There are people

that think we don't do enough. And some days I think about leaving teaching. Like any good teacher, I could make a lot more money and work a lot more hours doing literally anything else. And I know that because I've done it. I left teaching once before. I went into sales. I made a giant stack of money and it did nothing for me. I came back. And I choose to stay and that's where Haley comes in. I love being a teacher because every morning a young woman comes into my room to grab her iPad. She's already knows exactly how this is going to go. Every morning I say, "Good morning, Haley." She says good morning and she has like this kind of like kind of cute see like bow curtsy nod that I have told you.

Um and my my day is brighter. And later that day she's going to come to my class um and she's just going to put her head down and get to work. She is an amazing student academically. She never complains. I ask a ton of my honor students. Um and you would be so impressed with how this young lady writes. She thinks like a historian. She does everything I could ever ask any of my students to do. She puts up with my awful jokes and makes fun of me because I want to watch bowling during the junk time during advisory. Even though she hates it. We can watch volleyball. Okay. See? Compromise. Um I go to work every day because I get to work with students just like Haley Morton. Um she is so special to

me and the other teachers cuz you know, we we talk about our students and everybody has the same thing to say about Haley. She is really the type of young person that we all wish that we could become. Um I want to thank her family and I I see you're recording this and so I'm I'm really glad dad's going to get to hear me say this. Thank you for sending her to us every day. She is a bright spot. You know, we as teachers we love her and we're just sad that we're going to run out of time with her really soon. And so, thank you for sending her to us and Haley, thank you for letting me be your teacher. It really makes my day to see you every morning and I can't wait

to see you tomorrow. Thank you. How are we doing this this time? If you So sorry. Um if you are here to support Haley, um would you mind to stand so we can give you a little applause, too. Next, we will be recognizing another student of the week and this is for the week, this week actually, April 6th, 2026. Um tonight we'll be recognizing a senior from Central High School. Her name is Alexandria Mitchell and gosh, I is it Elsasser? I I probably butchered that, but um Alexandria, if you're here, if you'd come forward. She's going to be recognized by Dr. Karen Delbridge, the principal, and favorite teacher, Joseph Barlow. Good evening. I'm Karen Delbridge and it is my honor to introduce to you Axie Mitchell Elsasser. So, Axie has grown up in Cheyenne and

she is one of our distinguished students. She uh plans to attend the University of Wyoming and she is a recipient of the Trustees Award where she intends to pursue a double major in mathematics and psychology. Um Axi, you are um just really stands out to us as uh not just a student in academic excellence, but she is a volunteer and I think that leadership capacity is what we look for in our student of the week. And so not only is she going to go on to the University of Wyoming, but while she's been with us at Central, she's earned the recognition of an AP Scholar in Distinction and the President's Award for Service. She's been highly engaged in things like speech and debate, National Honor Society, Junior Olympic Archery, but her commitment to volunteerism is

really what stood out for us for her with this award. She has been volunteering at the Lar- Laramie County Library over 700 hours and then over 300 hours with Meals on Wheels, where she's helped create meaningful connections with homebound community members. I I just think that speaks so much to you. Um and and thank you for giving her to us and thank you so much for all that you do to represent Central and yourself. So um I'm going to let you talk just for a little bit, Axi, and then I'll let you introduce your favorite teacher, Mr. Barlow. Hi. I'm Axi. Um I didn't really prepare anything to say about me cuz that's not what I was told to do. Um But I like I like to read and I like to cross stitch and

I like to crochet. And that's enough about me. Okay. Um this is Mr. Barlow. He's my favorite teacher. Um he teaches honors geometry and algebra concepts at Central High School. I haven't had Barlow as a teacher throughout my entire high school experience, taking geometry with him all the way back in eighth grade. It is still widely known that if I need to be found before school, I will be in sitting in his room. I control his Spotify more than he does and always keep him on track with what's happening in pop culture. Whether he's listening to me give him a rundown of the Grammys, explaining every visual from the newest Taylor Swift music video, or complaining about what whatever small inconvenience has ruined my day, Barlow is always down for a good yap session. It

might be interrupted by him doing his actual job and helping his students, but it is always good nonetheless. Not only is he a great listener, he genuinely cares about his students to the point that his two daughters know the names and the general details about many of his quote big kids. On the day-to-day, I talk a lot of trash about Barlow, but he is genuinely one of the best people I have ever met and I know I wouldn't have done nearly as well in my high school career without him being an anchor to my sanity. Thank you. I also didn't prepare anything mostly cuz I'm not always prepared for things. But um there are a million things I could say about Axie that I admire and that I appreciate. Um and all of them are

true, but the best thing of this kid is her conviction to do what is right. She she stands up for what is right. She knows what is right. Um she has a pure heart of gold because she understands how people are supposed to behave and she holds people to that that expectation all the time. She is an exceptional human being. That being said, she's also pretty good student. But and I owe you a lot. I've learned a lot from you. I appreciate you so much, kid. If you're here with Axie, could you stand and be recognized? Yes. Thank you. >> So, congratulations to our students and to their favorite teachers. Western Vista Federal Credit Union sponsors the awards for our student of the week program. So, at this time, I would like to invite Carl

King, Member Services Officer, to come and say a few words. Thank you. Thank you. All right, so how you guys doing? So, I'm It's very hard to follow them. I mean, I'm going to be honest with you. I mean, I'm so proud of these guys. Uh they they are definitely a testament to our community and I my hat's off to them. So, I'm very happy to be here today to show them some appreciation from Western Vista. So, So, I'm Carl and I am the Member Service Officer at the Western Vista Credit Union the Story Branch. Uh as we said, we were honored to support the school district Student of the Week program again. Each week we're delighted to learn about the amazing kids we have here in Larimer County. And in recognition of the student

of the week's efforts, we are proud to present a certificate of achievement and a Visa gift card to the recipient. We'd also like to present a certificate of appreciation and a Western gift card the recipient's nominated for a favorite teacher. So, we're very happy to do that and uh thank you very much. >> We will next move into the information and report section of our agenda and we will open that up with public comments tonight from visitors concerning agenda topics and non-agenda topics. Um, I have a little information to share about public comment, so I'll read that and then we'll start going down uh the list of those that have signed up. The purpose of the board meeting is to conduct the business of the district publicly. The board sincerely values community input and feedback

on school operations and welcomes public comment on both agenda and non-agenda items. Individuals wishing to comment during a board meeting must sign up by 5:45 p.m. on the day of the meeting. Sign up for public comment can be done electronically by accessing the form available on Simbli under the public comment portion of the meeting agenda. Alternatively, individuals may also contact Arlene Davis to be added to the electronic sign-up sheet. We will begin by hearing public comment on agenda items followed by public comment on non-agenda items. Please keep in mind that this is a time for board members to listen and consider, but not to comment or debate. The board asked that all speakers state their first and last name, keep their comments to 3 minutes or less, and uh please understand that if you wish

to discuss matters pertaining to the employment of a district staff member, such as the appointment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, investigation, discipline, or dismissal of an employee, that this will not be done during the public comment portion of the meeting. Such comments should be made to the executive director of human resources, or you may request to meet with the board during executive session. So, as I said, we start with public comments from visitors concerning agenda topics. Um and as of actually 6:00, no one had signed up for that section of the agenda. Um however, for public comments concerning non-agenda items, uh we did have, I believe, seven or eight individuals sign up. So, I'm going to start at the top of the list with the first person to sign up, and then we'll just go straight down

um from the the first to sign up to the most recent to sign up. Um According to this list, we have three individuals signed up to speak who are students. Um students, if you're here or online to speak, I will only identify you by your initials. We're not going to state your name. So, if you're a student here to speak, just listen to your initials um to know when to come forward. But, we will open this up tonight um with Caleb Hanson. Is Caleb here? Oh, good. Thank you. All right. Hello. Um, my name is Caleb Hansen. Um, I am the Safe and Drug Free School Counselor at East High School and Carey Junior High. Um, I have sent all of you an email, so thank you so much for being willing to read that.

I can see that um, most everyone has opened it, so I appreciate that. Um, all in that email I've outlined um, you know, the need for Safe and Drug Free Schools in the school here, the program in the district. Um, the need that we need, you know, um, interventions specifically aimed at helping our students succeed who are struggling with um, you know, mental health issues, using substances at school or out of school, um, and getting into fights at school. Um, these are really persistent issues that impact those students, um, both in and outside of school, and, you know, the rest of our learning environment. Um, I think that these services are essential, um, and I know we've lost the grant that paid for them, um, but I ask that you when and I know you

have a lot of hard decisions to make, you and the admin team, about funding. Um, I just ask that you please um, consider prioritizing Safe and Drug Free Schools because I think it is an essential service for our students here. Um, there is a great need for it, and um, I'm really nervous so I'm repeating myself, but please look through, if you haven't already, I have attached to the email I sent a lot of data, um, and other more clearly articulated points on why we need this service. Um, but I guess I'm asking for your help in in advocating to keep this around. Um, I was a student here, I grew up in Cheyenne, and I, um, all through junior high and high school had the help of the Safe and Drug Free School counselor

who is at McCormick and Central. Um her name was Tony Hatfield and she made an incredible difference on my life. When I think about my favorite teacher, it was Mrs. Hatfield. Um you know, and the things that I learned in the groups and working with her individually um have helped shape me and helped me succeed in the community and through college and um you know, I see that benefit. I see I get to be on the other end of it and I love my job. Um this is my dream job and I I understand the value of it being on both ends and I can see the need the the desperate need the students have for these services. Um so please consider and I'm just asking for your help in advocating with admin to keep

these positions. So thank you. Thank you. All right, next is Dylan Ford. Uh Madam Chair, members of the board, uh my name is Dylan Ford. I have one item today and I'll just ask that we preserve the Safe and Drug Free School program. Um I know it's been provided through federal grant which is now expired. Um but and I also don't think that anyone really wants to spend their free time thinking about uh childhood addiction because it's just one of those things that's so upsetting. Um we don't want to think about our kids being exposed to that kind of danger. Please. But the reality is that some of our kids do live with addiction. And I think that all of us in this room would want to support them. So how do we do provide

that support? Uh if you're my age, you remember the uh DARE program Um widely known what's less known about the DARE program is how spectacularly bad it failed studies show that not only did the DARE program not lower drug use but grad graduates of the DARE program were more likely to use drugs after they went through the program. So what went wrong with DARE? Well, it turns out that just telling kids not to do drugs is ineffective. So what is effective according to the APA effective programs are more holistic and they involve helping kids to learn how to weigh the consequences of their actions and making choices about their future. This is the work of trained counselors like the ones that we've been providing through this federal grant. This is a crucial time to provide

these services thanks to fentanyl contamination of other drugs teen deaths have risen exponentially to a point where it's now one of the leading causes of deaths among teens according to the health Affairs Journal and the Guardian. It was a threefold increase between the years of 2018 and 2023. Now I know that money is weirdly tight right now and we no longer have that grant to fund those positions but our drug counselors have been doing some of the most important work in our districts keeping our students keeping our schools cleaner and keeping our schools safer. So I'd ask that you'd find some way to preserve it. Thank you. Thank you. The next three speakers are students so as I mentioned I'll just say initials. The first is HK. Is there a student here or online with

the initials HK? If you're online if you raise your hand I can unmute There are no hands raised. Not right now. Um if if she comes in or if if you see her appear online, we can come circle back around to to her comment um here in a bit. Uh the next is a student with the initials LC. And if you're online, if you raise your hand, I'll unmute you. Madam Chair, there's no hands raised. Not at all. Okay. And the third student has the initials TK. Madam Chair, there are no hands online. >> Not Not that one, either. Okay. Well, we will if if they come into the room and um or if if you see them pop up online, please let me know. Um the next uh individual signed up to speak is

Mike Fernandez. Sorry, I'm kind of short. Not sure who had this last. Just let me know when to go, and then I'll begin. Yes. All right. Uh good evening, board members. My name is Mike Fernandez. I'm the current uh SRO at East High School. I'm before you this evening to share some positive information, but also to address some importance the importance of partnerships. As a current crisis intervention coordinator with the Cheyenne Police Department and youth mental health first aid instructor, I've come to understand the importance of having a balanced foundation. There is not one agency or organization that I have been had the pleasure of working with that has managed to every problem independently. As a team member of East High, I expect and accept partnerships, especially when it comes to youth members becoming involved

in criminal behavior such as vaping, drinking, and or violent acts. According discovery of these problems is only half the work. I'm a believer in the fair in fairness and equality and accountability. Being in position in a school setting has provided me an opportunity to correct unwanted behavior with the use of both internal and external resources. Today, I'm here to speak about an internal resource that has continued and continues to provide the foundational pieces of for ensuring both fairness and accountability in an effort to continue the improvement of the educational experience at East High. It is through the safe and drug-free school program that allows me to divert students away from the juvenile justice system and allow individuals like counselor Caleb Hanson to make more meaningful impacts. You see, currently citations for either possession of a

THC product and or possession of nicotine products only come with a fine. Which once those are paid, there's no further interventions required. So, that means there's no follow-up, there's no nothing. You pay your fine and you move on. The fines range from $25 for nicotine and $325 for THC. Again, no other accountability, education, you pay the fine, you move on. The following known known data supports the need for safe and drug-free school counselor as not only that they support drug issues, but anger management issues which could eventually lead to violent acts. For the year 2024-2025 for calls for service while I've been at East. Between disturbances and behavioral issues, um I have 132 for that year. For assault charges that have been cited in municipal court, that was 17. And for drug or possession include

THC and nicotine, that was 47 cases that were initiated with only eight citations due to the diversion to the safe and drug-free program. Just to give you a rough estimate for the year of 2023 to 2024, assault fighting charges, there was 34 citations issued. 19 issues issued for narcotics which include the vapes, THC, and nicotine. Again, 34 19. Just last year, there was a significant improvement of 17 fighting and eight vape, nicotine, or THC. As of this current past fall 2025, we have only had 32 disturbances and or behavioral issues with roughly only four fighting citations and 15 possession of THC or nicotine. So as you can see that the data shows that we are showing improvements throughout time, which I'm a big believer of improvement. This data, of course, is separate from any data

that is collected through LCSD number one. So keeping track of what is occurring within our schools is essential so that proper and efficient resources remain in the place of such programs like safe and drug-free school. Thank you for your time and I appreciate it and I know you guys are big on statistics so I wanted to address those, but the school environment is completely different from what I believed it was when I first became an SRO. So I have kudos to the administration, the teachers, and of course, anybody else that works with children cuz it's a very difficult task at times. Thank you for your time. Thank you, Officer Fernandez, for all you do. All right, our last uh signed up to speak. I gosh, I may not get this name right and I you

know too. Is it I thought it is it Arianna? Arianna. Arianna. >> Yes, ma'am. It's spelled really funny. No worries. >> beautiful name. Thank you for being here. All right. So like she said, my name is Arianna Hanson. Um much like everybody before me, I would like to talk about the safe and drug-free school um position. I was born and raised in Cheyenne. Um growing up, my household was very turbulent um to say the least. Uh abuse, neglect, drug use was commonly experienced. Um when I got to high school, I was using myself and um had a rough time finding my way. Um was on the wrong path. Um I can honestly say that without this position, um I wouldn't be where I'm at today. Um from the groups to the support that the staff

provided in this position, um I was able to uh get clean, learn so much. The groups were actually volunteer. Um I volunteered to do them and I liked them so much and I benefited from them so much. I did all of them and graduated and graduated high school, which at the time I didn't think was possible. Um now I am about to graduate college. I am um signed up for my master's program and have got in, start in in May. So um I have a beautiful 4-year-old who's very smart and very healthy. Um all these things would not be possible without that staff at that position. Um I know that there are outside resources for these positions, but like I said, in a household like I grew up in, I would not have got that.

So I think it's really important to have these positions in schools that can be actually accessed by kids that need them and much like me, there are kids that need them, you know. Um, so again, I just like you guys to consider how important it is. Um, I know everybody before me came up with a lot of data and statistics and facts about how crucial this is. I can tell you right now, I'm a first hand example of this this program does work and it's very important and I plan on staying in Wyoming. Um, like I said, I'm getting my MSW. Um, I have a daughter and I would like to see her grow up in a community that is setting our kids up for success. So, thank you for your time. Thank you very

much. And I'm going to circle back around to the initials of the three students that we were hoping to hear from tonight. Um, so I don't believe anybody's in here the room, but perhaps if they're online, um, we'd love to hear from HK, LC, or TK. And if you're online, please raise your hand to speak. I'm not sure they're on tonight. Okay. All right. Well, that concludes the public comment portion of our agenda. Uh, we will now move into just a a quick update on upcoming meetings. Um, this Wednesday is the first one I'll talk about. This was an addition to our schedule which some of you may not be aware of. Uh, but on this Wednesday, April 8th, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. here in the board room, we will be holding a public

hearing for comments on chapter nine, section five, use of district property, um, policy changes. So, this policy the policy changes have been out for 45-day review. That 45-day review period has ended. The comments received are all posted on the website and accessible to the public. Um but, we will be receiving more public comments um face-to-face here in this board room from 5:30 to 7:00 this Wednesday night. And that comment will be limited just to proposed changes to that policy um and not to anything else. Um then, on April 20th at 6:00 p.m., we have our regular board meeting here in the board room. On believe this is a Tuesday, April 28th from 12:00 to 1:30, we'll have the executive team meeting with uh Dr. Newton. And then, um on Monday, May 4th, 2026, we will

be back here uh for a 5:00 p.m. work session and a 6:00 p.m. regular board meeting. Um do we now have any individual board communications or reports that anyone wants to share? Trustee Cook. Thank you, Madam Chair. Just one real quick, I've been to a couple things, but one really touched my heart. Um I went to Dildine uh shortly before spring break, and Bridget Wightman was selected as the educational support person of the year for student support. And um So, I they had an all-school assembly, and then they surprised her. And it it was so she was so thankful and seemingly such a hard-working person. And um so, it was fun to see that. Her adult son and her husband were there, and they surprised her. So, to walk into the gym and see them

uh or to have her recognize they were there. So, it was it was a very cool experience. So, to to whatever. That's all. Thank you. Trustee Ashton. Did you have something? Oh, Anybody else? All right. Um well, then I will now turn it turn it over to Dr. Newton for reports from superintendent and staff. Thank you, Madam Chair. I just have a few announcements this evening. Um first at the top of the list, April is the month of the military child, and in this district we not only honor all of those who serve our country in the armed forces, but also their families. The additional challenges facing students whose parents serve are substantial, and we do thank the kids for the sacrifices they must make as well as their parents. Um as I usually do,

if there are any agenda items that may warrant a little bit of extra explanation, um I think we have a couple here tonight. Um the first one on the consent agenda is number five, translation services, and this is um in order um for us to stay compliant, um not only compliant with um with uh IDEA special education law, but 504, Title VI, and civil rights, and making sure that families whose primary home language is not English um have uh fair access to um to the uh written word in their um and spoken word in um phone call translations as well in their in their native tongue. Um we also recognize that aside from staying compliant, it's just a great way for us to partner with our families who maybe have a bit of a language

barrier. So, you will see the um uh consent agenda motion tonight to renew those services uh for translations. And um new business item F7, legal services. Um in addition to our able counsel, uh Ms. Paulie, we sometimes have um need for additional legal services um in moments where there are conflicts of interests or just volume issues or or sometimes litigation assistance that goes beyond the typical day-to-day operations. So, you will see um an an item F7 for legal services. And the last thing I'd like to update the board on this evening is um and I know this has probably been long overdue for us to be able to stay stay out loud, but according to Mr. Knapp um this next week, the construction bids for the new ARP Elementary go out. So, um that is

just around the corner. The 5-6, of course, is to follow in the coming probably weeks and or months um even though those are not happening just exactly simultaneously, that does not throw off the um the intent to open the both of those schools at the same time. So, um a huge milestone in um in this community's attempt to get the new build at ARP. And Madam Chair, with that, that is the end of my reports. Thank you, Dr. Newton. Does anyone have any questions? No. Okay. Okay. Well, we will move on to new business. Oh, actually we won't. Sorry. Excuse me. We have to vote on consent agenda. All agenda items listed with the designation of CA are considered to be routine items by the governing body and will be enacted by one motion. There

will be no separate discussion on these items. Any item removed from the consent agenda will be considered in its normal sequence on the agenda. Does any board member request to remove a motion from the consent agenda? We're seeing none. Madam Chair, I move to approve all motions listed as consent agenda. And I second. We have a motion and a second to approve all motions listed as consent agenda. All in favor say I. I. Opposed. The votes have been approved. Now, we will move to new business. Madam Chair, I move to an advert error to approve an additional $63 fee proposal with Advanced Roofing Technologies in the amount of $693,403 instead of the $693,340 approved on February 9th, 2026. Including a 10% contingency for associated governmental fees and requirements for the purchase and installation of roofing

replacements at various sites. Second. We have a motion and a second to approve an additional $63 on the fee proposal with Advanced Roofing Technologies. Um, do you have any questions or discussion on that? Okay, all in favor say I. I. Oppose. It's not very often we get a vote on $63 items. All right, that has been approved. Madam Chair, I move to approve a fee proposal with Alco Fence Company. Alco Fence Co. in the amount of $64,868.50, including a 10% contingency for associated governmental fees and requirements for the purchase and installation of security fencing at various sites. 045broken down as $1,007,700 to be paid with major maintenance and $142,000 to be paid with special building funds for the purchase and installation of the transportation fuel island replacement. I second. All right, we have a motion and a second to approve the fee proposal with Ryman Corporation in the amount of $1,149,700 for the purchase and installation of the transportation fuel island replacement. Do you have any questions or conversation on that? Can we know what that is? Yeah. Why? Mr. Dow. Madam Chair, members of the board, was the question why? Yeah, that was my question. Okay. What is it and why are we doing it? Yes. So, there's a few pieces to this. We've gone to more gas buses than diesel than we used to have. And we don't have and we have diesel tanks out

there and as you know over the years our transportation department has expanded actually in that direction of where the tanks used to be so we have the um training center on there as well as the bus wash and that the tanks are to the point of needing replacement anyway and they're pretty much in the way of where all our buses come in and out through the gate through the access gates. So what this does is allows us to add fuel tanks for gas and we have that land that's right behind the transportation building. We'll put fuel storage tanks back there as well as you know everything that goes with that one of the reasons this is broken down into two parts on the funding is because as most of you may know major maintenance has

to be used just to replace things that are there so this is a replacement of the tanks and the fuel islands as well as the 142,000 out of special building fund is some of the associated that go with that one of those being a training pad where they approve and train their drivers and and where they pass for their CDL and we also use that we train some of the nearby districts as well Laramie 2 sometimes Albany and I think maybe even Wheatland a little bit. Are there any other questions? Thank you Mr. Now. All in favor of approving the fee proposal with Raymond Corporation please say I. I. Opposed. That's been approved.
