Do we have corporate faculty association? CSFA. >> No. >> Yes. CFA is

004here. >> CFA is here. >> Okay. >> All right. Can you hear me? >> Yes. >> Okay. Good. Um, good evening everyone. I am Rosanne Salceto Cork and Faculty Association President. We're all back from a very nice, well-deserved vacation, but only for teachers who live out of town to return to the unsafe drive to Corkran in a dense fog. CFA has reported this issue to the district countless times. There were 34 school districts that reported a foggy day schedule to Channel 30 ABC News this morning. And um I'm going to be honest with you on those um schedules for those foggy day schedules, a lot of them were on a certain schedule. They had delays um or they had no transportation. Um and there were several uh school districts that were closed. Lakeside, Walina, and

005Buenav Vista school districts were all closed. We had a drive teacher driving from Clovis and the usual hour drive to work took him an hour and 45 minutes. Our district is definitely in need of a foggy day schedule. There shouldn't be any quote conditions to the schedule that would affect staff time off, etc. It should be district-wide for all employees to ensure the safety of all staff getting to work. It would be a shame if something morbid happened to someone on their way to work. At the last board meeting, my colleague, Mr. Nicholas Brown, reported on the status of negotiations between CFA and the district. CFA would like to highlight and remind the board of the information that was presented. Number one, a tenative agreement was it reached on several bargaining items. However, salary was

006not one of them. C number two, CFA conducted a poll on the offer for salary, but it was rejected based upon Hamford's raise and Mr. Pacina's raise. Obviously, teachers in the district are not satisfied with the current offer, nor do we feel appreciated for our district's progress, our time, our hard work, and our dedication to this district. CFA in the district returns to negotiations on January 26, 2026. To end this report, CFA would like to wish everyone a happy new year. Thank you for your time. Cork and Faculty Association. Thank you. California School Employees Association. N comment.
