All right, we're going to move to 4.1 school spotlight. All right, Jack, you are up. Oh, it's green. So, same. Patty day.
>> All right. Well, welcome board. Uh, we definitely uh have a lot of things that we can highlight here at DBM. And uh I chose one main thing uh that I would highlight our our school excellent on. And that in addition to a couple other things which I I understand that we we are constantly hearing about academic excellence and state test scores and so I won't spend too much time boring you with that uh but I am going to mention it. Um first I definitely want to highlight and spotlight the staff here at TBM. We have been um enrollment is very high in the district. Uh this year I have seven teachers who do are working without prep periods and um it is definitely a high level of action and attention to students here on
campus and they are absolutely dedicated and I'm very proud of the staff that works here um and works many of them working through the day without a break. So uh uh I'm glad to find out that we are getting some extra support next year but definitely want to spotlight the staff uh because the staff makes this next part possible. Uh I I would like to highlight academic excellence. Um our last round of state test scores I wanted to celebrate St. Patty's Day with a lot of green. The green is obviously in the in the good better than the red. So, uh, six out of seven categories that we get state tested on here at TBM, we grew in percents. The percents are right here. Um, I'm not going to bore you by going through each
one, but uh, we are definitely a proud site here of our student performance because this this shows not only the dedication of the staff that we mentioned earlier, but um, our students are really dedicated to academic success. Um, so it's definitely great to see all those green categories and the one that's not green just kind of stayed flat. We didn't drop, so that's always good. Next, academic excellence. First semester this school year, out of 10,3 students, 620 of them averaged a B 3.0 uh GPA or higher. So, I'm definitely proud of nearly twothirds of our campus um exhibiting those B average grades. So, another another spotlight on excellence, academic excellence. And lastly, before I get to the main part of our presentation, I want to celebrate athletic excellence here at TVM. So, we've we still
have ongoing sports right now, there are three sports that have just started for the spring season, but of all the sports we've played this year, we have four groups that have had undefeated seasons. So, um, you know, moving beyond the the boring old academics that we talk about endlessly, uh, our athletic department, uh, led by Courtney Advalong as our athletic director is, um, excellent and a reputation here in in our league. Uh, boys basketball, boys flag football, girls basketball, and wrestling all went undefeated this year. So, definitely want to celebrate that. And uh moving on to our our main part of our presentation which is the students and it should be the students. Um again moving away from from the the heavily weighted academic side. We've really tried to emphasize this year offering courses and
electives and options for students that that are beyond the academic quote unquote uh heavily weighted um you know reading, writing, arithmetic sort of sort of classes. And uh we definitely want to give students opportunities for things that will that will benefit them moving on in their in their lives and into adulthood and into their careers uh that may not necessarily be collegebound, you know. Um so we we added four new electives this school year um to the ones that we already had. Uh we added Spanish broadcasting um pathways to success and we added athletic leadership and sports medicine. Um so these are in addition to uh extending our CTE wheel which was already in existence. And so to highlight a couple of those electives, I've had I had some students here make some presentations um
from the athletics leadership and sports medicine course and from the CTE wheel. Unfortunately, the teachers here, I really wanted the teachers to be here to introduce and talk about those options for the students and some of the some of the benefits that they offer their their classes. Of course, both both the teachers had some uh um prior engagements. Um and you know, we we did kind of make this switch on on the board meeting being hosted here. So, they they had some engagements they couldn't get away from. But the students, luckily for us, are are here to make presentations. I'll go ahead and have um a couple of students. I'll let them introduce themselves, but from our CTE e-wheel course go ahead and come on up here and I'll let you make your presentation to
brag about your your elective. Good evening. Um, I'm Justin Matthews. >> Um, we'll be doing a presentation on the CTU elective at TBMS and all the units that we went over. >> Before you start, it's important to know what CT is. When I first heard about CTE Wheel, I was like just confused because I had no idea what it was going to be. But I later learned that it's actually about just exploring a lot of different hobbies and also just like elective options in high school. Uh it's a really great way to find out like what you want to do and like the future for your career or just a hobby. And I I really like how it gives like students the opportunity to find what they enjoy doing. Uh it shows a lot of
past times that could develop into hobbies such as gardening or woodworking. Uh let's talk about our first unit which is photography. Um this unit was a really good experience and a valuable opportunity for young ones because it can turn into a good career later on in life. And what we really learned in this was the basic camera modes um which a few examples are manual, TV, AV and portrait. While there are some additional ones like um landscape and close-up, they really just focus on main ones to get professional looking photos. Um and a good example of manual, which is the main one we use. It changes auto changes the ISO and shutter speed, even the aperture and shutter speed. Um or not speed, f-stop, sorry. Um but I feel like this is a really good
one because it just gives you a good idea of what you could do as a career later on in life and it's a good open up. But we want to talk about the next unit which is ceramics. >> Uh in this unit we learned uh the history of ceramics and the different ways to do it. Uh we learned techniques such when making clay pots such as slab building, clay building, slip casting and pinch pots. Uh ceramics is actually like a really interesting hobby and in my opinion is a great elective option in many high schools including in high school. This is actually one I made. It hasn't actually been fired yet, but it started out as an old block, but then I kind of messed it up, so I decided I'll just make it like
Spongebob. So, it was fun. Uh, next up we'll be talking about wood shop. I did I just want to say I didn't get to bring my clay fun cuz I didn't have time to get it, but just wanted to say that. Um, with one shop, um, this is probably my favorite one because it it really showed how we can use this as like a carpenter or builder. Um, we used we learned how to use like a miter saw, hammer, and drill. And we also did a little bit of coding, too. And we made this little TVMS block. Um, we use um CNC machine to do that. Um, and we also use measurements so that everything can be really exact and proportional. and we use like a little dial caliper. Um, we had we made another
thing, a toolbox, but we couldn't bring it in because it actually I think we forgot but um I just want to go over that and now we can move on to our next unit which is coding and uh computers. Uh so this unit was really interesting for me and I think a lot of other kids to work on. Uh it taught the basics of computer programming. We learned how to write basic coding scripts and how to use a CNC machine. Um, we also learned about the different components of computers and their uses such as a motherboard or GPU, PSU, CPU. Um, now for our last unit, we'll talk about agriculture or plant replication for better terms. >> Um, I couldn't get any examples for plants because they're from last semester. to have anymore. But it
was I feel like this was a really good unit cuz it was long and it gave you great idea of landscape and a career and we really just learned how like how much plants need light or shade or not too much water, not too little and that each one's different in their own way. Um and these pictures are some examples. Uh we have a China doll plant and a spider plant. Um and we want to go over a quick recap of why CT is important. So CTE wheel is just a great class for students. They can explore job opportunities, hobbies, a lot of different things. Um, some people might might not think of doing the class. Might seems kind of confusing at first, but I think that's a really great class and I'm glad that
we were able to have it at our school. And as you can see with as you can see with all these examples, TBS TBMS really gives us a great idea of all the careers that we can pursue to the best of our abilities. Um, thank you for the time. Have a good evening. And before we do, I want to show you the camera we use, which is the EU T3i. Um, it has all the modes right here, but just want to show that as an example. And we have some special thanks to students that helped us with this. Personio helped us with um, writing and organizing the sides, Mr. for teaching the class and peers for all their examples and making it a great class. >> Thank you. >> Excellent job, guys. >> I'm going
to go ahead and welcome up our next two students who are going to explain another elective. sports medicine and athletic leadership. >> Hi, I'm Isabel Padilla and I play basketball at the school cross country and flag football. Hi, my name is Paisley Venzle and I play eighth grade girl basketball. help us find their presentation. >> So our elective that we'll be presenting about is athletic leadership and sports medicine. We'd like to credit Miss Amalong who's our teacher and me and his >> athletic leadership. Ever wondered what would happen if leadership skills and sports energy were combined into one awesome class? Welcome to athletic leadership, where teamwork and motivation and a little healthy competition come together. This class is designed for students who want to build leadership skills through the world of athletics. You'll learn how
to motivate teammates, communicate like a captain, solve problems under pressure, and lead by example both on and off the field. Along the way, we'll explore topics like teamwork, goal setting, sportsmanship, and what it really means to be a positive role model in a team environment is like leadership by athletic sports medicine. Ever wonder how athletics recover from injuries and get back into the game? In the sports medicine portion of our course, you'll explore the science behind keeping athletes healthy, strong, and performing their best. This class combines sports, health, and hands-on learning to teach you how the body moves, how injuries happen, and how they can be prevented and treated using Yeti Academy sports medicine curriculum. Students will learn about common sports injuries, basic first aid, taping, wrapping, taping and wrapping techniques, and what to do
when injuries happen during game practices. You'll also dive into topics about nutrition, training, recovery, and how professionals such as athletic trainers and physical therapists keep athletes in top shape. In athletic leadership/sports medicine, students learn what qual qualities make a good leader, what type of leader you are, how to be a good leader, how teamwork and group dynamics affect a team, the muscular system, the skeletal system, basic first aid, and injury prevention. Some of the tasks of our class include setting up for home sports games, basketball, volleyball, flag football, wrestling, track and field, and cross country. This includes lowering the hoops, setting up the nets, and measuring the fields. Keep in mind that this is not mandatory in our course, but if you have other sports activities, that is okay, but we do suggest pitching in
when you can. what we have done this year. This year we went on a field trip to the Kata Leadership Conference where we learned about how to be a leader, what fundraisers are fun, and how to create an exclusive environment at school assembling in pep rallies. We also got to know other leadership students by participating in fun games and activities. Poster making. Our class specializes in posters for make for our school sports teams and athletes. Our posters show our athletes what they mean to us. I mean, what would our school be without our amazing athletes? Poster making usually consists of each person being given a job task. Coloring, outlines, lettering, and spelling. Projects. Let's take a look at some of the projects we have done this year. Sport research project. We learned the history behind
our favorite sports and the athletics. They have shaped the sport to what it is today. Paper chain project. We made a paper chain with the letters of one of the styles of leadership and where it appears in our school. Up next, a nutrition and sport injury project. Winter Olympics. This year, the class took a break to research and track the Winter Olympics as they pro progress. Over the two weeks, we learned about the history of the Olympics, the events, and current talented athletes. And during the class period, we will also watch the events and learn the rules and regulations that the athletes have to follow in order to compete. NFHS certifications. NFHS certificates are awards earned by completing online courses from the National Federation of State High School Associations through the NFHS Learning Center. They
showed that someone has learned important skills related to school sports such as safety, sportsmanship, and good coaching/leading. We will be completing out certifications in nutrient and heat illness this spring. Jersey inventory. Taking jersey inventory in our athletic leadership class was like running our own mini equipment department. We counted, sorted, and organized all the team jerseys to make sure every number was there and ready for the next season. It was fun. It was a fun and challenging way to stay organized and work as a team and make sure nothing went missing. By the end, everything was counted, stacked, and neatly and neatly and and game ready. Thank you for listening. All right. Well, thank you. I was very excited this year to uh I should say last year when we created these options for students, I
was really excited to to give them some more highinterest material that's really going to help them uh be more well-rounded individuals, you know. Um, and I think you can definitely tell that they love the classes and they're really proud of being members of those those classroom communities and I think I'm very proud of them too. So, thank you guys for those presentations and thank you for allowing us to highlight some of those uh non-academic uh courses that we that we are now offering. Have a have a great rest of the meeting. >> That was very interesting. Thank you. Okay, next takes us to our consent agenda. Okay. All items on the consent agenda will be approved with one motion which is not debatable and requires a unanimous vote for passage. If any member of the
board, superintendent, or the public so request, items may be removed from this section and placed in the regular order of business following the approval of the consent agenda. And is there any one who'd like to remove anything? Do I have a motion? >> I move to approve. Okay. Second. >> I'll second. >> Roll call. >> Member. >> Yes. >> Member Freeman. >> Yes. >> Member Dra. >> Yes. Thank you. >> Section six. report outs. I will start. Well, we'll jump right in. Jonathan, do you have all three report outs or just short? >> Yeah, it's kind of a kind of a ghost town over here. >> You're it then? >> It'll be quick since it's only just me. Uh, so first of all, I just want to say happy St. Patrick's Day to everyone here.
>> Thank you. Is everyone here? Uh anyways, uh we had our every 15 minutes which is a two-day thing. Uh last week it was on Thursday and Friday where the first day they showed you a scene of a car crash accident and we had uh students of Lincoln and Phoenix. Uh also some teachers helping out with the speakers and mics and cameras. Um they're also picked many Phoenix and Lincoln students were also taken from their classes at random times cuz you know every 15 minutes. So like like someone would just be in a class and then everybody would come up and they would take them away and they would say little something they had to say before they died. And yeah, the second day really was more of like a funeral type of thing. Um
they showed us at Danielle of all the stuff that happened last time and that's really that's really all that happened that day. Um our senior leadership trip is about in about 2 weeks or so. Uh we go to Disneyland and we check out all the the magic behind some of the rides. Like I think last year they checked out the Millennium Falcon ride behind the scenes to see how that's >> operated. Yeah, they check that out to see how that's uh running. Uh basketball will be ending this week and will soon be getting into softball and that's really Thank you. >> Was every 15 minutes impactful? >> Uh yeah, they made it very realistic. >> Yeah. >> My son was the one who um threw through the windshield. >> Oh. >> So they had they
brought a car. They had them laying out. >> They had Yeah, they had they took him to the mall. They had like police, they had the whole helicopter come down. >> They actually took him to the morg and the person in the morg said, "You're the rare one that gets you're the only one that gets to walk away." >> And then yeah, we did the video where they came the police officer came to our home and asked me if I was terrible. >> Terribly parents. >> What was that? >> I would have wished that. >> No. Even though it was fake, it was real. >> Yeah. Very good. Thank you. All right. Um, board of trustees, it's a little bit different. Member Price. >> Oh. Um, >> and can you talk a little bit what
we talked about in the meeting, too, because I want to make sure we capture it all and I'll just piggyback on it when >> Yeah. Okay. Go. Um I've had the distinct honor of uh watching two folks that both happen to be present here today receive awards from AXA which is an organization that uh sort of um highlights the work of administrators. So Miss uh Lindseay Reynolds and also Mr. Reno Penders were both um honored and we were able to stand and watch them uh receive the credit that they both so justly deserve. So that was pretty amazing. very welld deserved. Um some time ago, uh I've talked quite a bit about artificial intelligence and there was an opportunity for the district to potentially participate in um a private public partnership with an organization that
was spurred from Alpha School, which you may have heard of, unless maybe you haven't cuz you're not a dork and watch only YouTube like me, which my wife judges me for frequently. Um anyway that's a different meeting. Uh so uh when that did not pan out because they had too much interest uh the district quickly pivoted much to the to the effort of a lot of educators and folks uh on this side of the table as well who are already quite busy. Um but the idea of you know it's like I look at the CTE wheel and to me that's what is represented when I see a more effective way to deliver education. when you have a fifth grader saying, "You're on the school board." And I'm like, "Yeah." He goes, "Why is school so
long?" And I was like, "Oh, well, I'm not taking questions right now, young man, but I appreciate your um so the idea of trying to better use some of this time and to actually do one-on-one education, which I think we can all agree is probably the best way to learn just about anything." Um, so all that to say, I got to spend some time with the team at Phoenix and Atlas who've just decided that, um, they're not going to wait around. And so, um, I watched as that team really started to put their heads together on what part of this can we adopt and how do we get into forward thinking mode so that we could start leveraging some of this. The district's been phenomenal in terms of provide pro providing resources. And actually, we
had our director of IT in the meeting, which I thought was awesome, too, cuz, you know, directors of IT aren't always the most innovative and like, yeah, let's find new and exciting things to have to fix when they break. Um, but Kevin was right there alongside us trying to figure out ways in which we could take what we have and make it better. So, that was pretty awesome. And it's always fun to just watch ed educators do what they do in a in a huddle like that. Um, we also spent some time just now, you know, because we talk about um standardized tests, we talk about academic excellence and the idea that, you know, we we see these reports um issued out on an annual basis and we review LCAP data on an annual basis.
And so we got some time, April and I before this meeting with Jen and with Reno to try and better uncover how it is we are still so far behind where we think we could be both in state testing and just I think in in general output with regards to what kind of a lift we could provide for young people. So that was I don't know that was enlightening to look at ways in which um the district could do a better job um supporting teachers and you know students alike to to protect potentially increase the throughput of the time they spend in this system. And so I'll let April cave off from there. But um yeah, I think we're we're starting to try to figure out how the board can have more of a centralized
voice around um you know um I think adding priority maybe is the best way to say it. So that that was what I have. >> All right. Thank you. Member Profit. >> Oh, do you want to go after him so that we don't >> Oh, do you want me to go after? Okay. All right. Yeah, that works. So, um I'll just I only have the one thing because I've been in traction for 13 days with my back. Um so, just piggybacking on him, what we want to do is what what we kind of focused on is some two board policies that talk about um one grading and one oversight of English and math instruction. And um they they're going to be closely related to the PLC's, which are the stands for again. Thank you. Professional
learning communities with which are are made up of our teachers and um uniformed grading policies and um guaranteed viable curriculum. So um those are some of the things that we discussed today and then uh we we'll probably uh be talking about it when we ask for agenda items today. But it was a really great conversation. But we'll what we want to probably do is agendaize it so we can talk more, you know, because we can't talk more than just two people at a time. All right. Yes. Thank you. Go ahead. Um I attended the board and cabinet retreat with all of you. Had a leadership call with Dan following that um 2 by1 with April and Carrie. I attended the 12 high school career fair. Briefly poke my head in. Trud's done a wonderful job
of bringing so much to both campuses. Lincoln high schools too. Have has Lincoln had theirs yet? >> No, not yet. >> Soon >> April 1. I want to go to that one, too. But um she's amazing. Like it has progressed in the three years that I've attended it significantly. And um if anybody's any of you guys are interested, I just found out that next Wednesday is the NCAA signing day for British High School. And a parent send me an email asking if our board could come and >> it was good last year. >> That's cool. >> Sharon, the sportsmanship for the kids. >> All right. Thank you. Um >> yes. Uh since we had our last board meeting, some terrific things have happened for me for some some kids. Uh as we had the poetry
slam the second annual poetry slam and Michaela Vander uh won she's we had excellent poet but she was very good she won the big prize money and uh we were lucky to have William there William yeah William was was one of the judges and I think it was very nice to do that uh another big thing that happened and for years I've been trying to get some debate team activity going on. And Christie, when I actually first met Christie before I was even involved with this, you were a help to me. I I came to board meetings, I saw you and I thought she looks like a nice person. You're the person that picked the call and turned out, right? But um I said, "Do we have the bank?" And he said, "I don't know."
And you looked around and you find out that no, we don't have the bank. And I My my phrase is great schools have the big teams. Well, we have now thanks to um Vanessa Tree at 12 Bridges. We have and they've been functioning and they've been doing great. And the really big news is now we have two debate teams and we have some of the folks who helped initiate it and these are two freshmen at Lincoln. And if you can imagine yourself being a freshman in high school and saying and having the the moxy to say let's put together a debate team. I I didn't have any kind of money but we have two people that did and that's Tessa Silva and Max Montoya and they are going to stand and tell you a little
bit about what it took to make a debate team and where they plan on going. Could you do that please? >> Thank you. Hi, I'm Mik Mononttoya >> and I'm Tessa Silvis. We are both freshman at LHS, but we are also the founders of the soon to be debate club and team. >> We have made tremendous progress throughout this past week in the process of getting on our own feet about exploring this amazing amazing opportunity. >> This week we have found an adviser and we are now in the process of getting the actual club founded on campus. We would like to thank George especially and all the other people have been a great help in this journey providing us many resources that have established the foundation of what makes a good club and debate team.
>> We are so excited to share the next steps in this with you. >> Thank you. Thank you. >> And you two spoke at our last meeting, right? >> Have everyone come and speak. George needs more projects. Good job you guys. >> That was awesome. >> And people are going to be coming to your debates. I do one. >> Will they debate uh 12 bridges as well? >> Well, I hope very soon. They probably won't be able to get started next year. >> But I I look forward to seeing the two high schools. >> That would be excellent. They're they're going to recruit Will, right? Because those are fantastic public speaker. >> They're looking for debate members. All right. Thank you. Is that it, George? >> Are you good? Are you done? Are you done?
>> Oh, I acoustics here. >> I can't. >> Okay. >> All right. I'll try harder. All right. Okay. >> Remember Freeman? >> Uh, yes. Uh, we had the uh board retreat with Dan James and all of us uh that we attended. Um, let's see. I barbecued for uh some uh FFA and 4H kids um on the 14th or on the 7th, I'm sorry, with the Relin Force Club and we had a great time there. Um I on the 9th I think we did Pi Day. We filmed it um where I was a little zebra mascot Zeus and Carrie was um Crash and uh we went around um the district office and pi administrators. >> Did Emma put that together? >> Yeah, put it together. >> Yeah. And we >> and we we were so excited
about what we were doing that we didn't realize that Christy had um Zeus's shirt on backwards the entire time. Whoops. >> I didn't. >> Yeah. >> Zeus is supposed to be on the back. Mal's supposed to be on the front. >> Oh well. Um then I had my leadership call with James and then uh on Thursday I attended every 15 minutes at Lincoln High School and I try to go to that every year. It's very impactful. um you know I uh it's just very impactful and then to see the video out on uh Facebook um and on uh my friends actually participated in that and it was just very very uh very real. So that was it. I met the uh CHP officer that started that program some years ago. Uh okay. All right. Um,
thank you. Thanks for going out of order. Mix it up. Why not? Okay. Uh, Western Classer Teachers and Association, Michelle. Nothing today. Okay. Uh, Western Classer Classified Employees Association. Sheree. All right. Over to you. >> All right. I uh not going to repeat stuff that was already said, but do want to take a moment to recognize Lindsay and Reno again and apologize for not being there on Friday to celebrate to you. Uh but we were um at the Kelsa, which is the California uh school public relations association conference and Emma and I were able to present on some of the things that we've been doing uh in the area of uh communication, specifically student voice. And so the efforts that we've um put forward related to student senate and our portable order and it was
really well attended and well received. So >> and award yes award too. Yes. But so it was not as exciting as um as Reno and Lucy's but yes I was recognized as a superintendent to watch for communication efforts. It was very nice. Yes. And that's it for me. And congrats to all of you. Congratulations all of you. All right. Thank you. All right. Um seven. Do I have to do a read out? Okay. 7.1 approval of Western Unified School District Transportation Plan. Hello. Uh, each year the state reimbures school districts, 60% of their total prior year uh, transportation expenditures. And as a condition of receiving those funds, we're required each year to um prepare and present to you a transportation plan which includes um projected expenditures for the next for uh I think it was
last year and the next two years as well as how we will um be offering transportation services to our uh unduplicated students. And so the transportation plan is before you. And am I asking you to approve it? >> I'm asking you to approve it. All right. Any questions? Do you have a motion? >> I'll move. Second. I'll second. Any discussion? All in favor say I. I. >> All opposed. All right. Motion passes. uh 7.2 256 second inter report I can pass. So three times a year I come before you and ask you to approve not to approve to certify a budget report. We're currently on the second interim report for 2526 which um goes through it's basically our um re projected revenues and expenditures for this year um at the subsequent two years as of
January 31st of this year. We have to certify the reports either positive, qualified or negative. And um we're asking you to certify this one positive, which is great. It means that we project that we can meet our financial obligations this year and the next two years. So uh 2627 and 2728. Um looking at um how we're doing this year, and I like to do my good news, bad news thing. Um, I hope that you took a look at the more detailed uh second information that was in the board packet. If so, you might understand why I struggled a little bit to come up with uh good news. It's not terrible, but it's not great. But the good news is looking forward to next year. If you'll remember in um uh January when I talked about
the governor's proposed budget for next year, um I cautioned you because his projected revenues for next year were significantly greater than the legislative analysts projected revenues. Well, now the leg the LAO the legislative analyst has actually increase their projected revenues for this year and for next year. um bringing them more in line with the governor's projections and actually the 2526 current year revenue projections are higher than what the governor had projected in January. So we don't know exactly what that will mean for education but it does mean that in some form we should be getting um at least as much as the governor proposed in January. bad news. Um, our unrestricted expenditures, um, our unrestricted revenues have decreased. Our unrestricted expenditures have increased since first interim. And it's not by a ton. It's not a
huge impact, but it does uh it is an impact of about $3 I think $80,000 this year. And then over including this year and the next two years, that's an impact of about a million dollars overall on our unrestricted um ending fund balance. Looking at where we are in the reporting cycle, we are more than halfway through the year. We still have a lot coming up though, including the uh governor's may reise um the preliminary budget and LCAP and then the um budget and LCAP adoption in June. Oops. So, the second interim budget in summary, the the first column you'll see says first interim on this and I'm on um I'm on page four of the handout. Then after that is um our second interim budget and then off to the right is the uh
the variance between the two. So, I'm going to focus mostly on that that uh far right column. As you can see the top line, our total revenues have increased by 810,000, which is good since first interim, but unfortunately our total expenditures have increased by just over or just under$1.2 million. And we'll look at um some of the details of those in a moment. Transfers out have also increased by nearly $200,000. And that's our transfer from the general fund into the cafeteria fund. So overall, our um net or our fund balance projection uh decreases about $560,000. Um, and then if we go all the way to the bottom right of the um of that um item, you'll see our total ending fund balance projection went down by just over $2 million. Much of that is the
one um audit adjustment that only uh impacted our restricted funds. So, that's great. But if you look at the line above that, our unassigned economic uncertainty surplus uh reduced by like I had said just under 380,000 for this year. Um the next page goes into some summarized detail about uh the major changes in revenue and expenditure assumptions. So we had talked about this at um first interim our uh seabeds enrollment this year did not meet our projections and so we had to reduce that at second interim and I think that we went down it wound up being about 60 students and so that impacted our um projected ADA and so that um also impacts our projected funding. So, we are planning to lose about $290,000 from that. Um, and uh, good news though, our special
education revenue projections went up and that's based on information we get from the county office. Um, we had some new or adjusted categorical revenues. So, those are restricted revenues that come with restricted expenditures. and then $300,000 in interest revenue and other local revenues. Our um our interest rate at the county treasury continues to be uh very good about 4% and so we're seeing increased uh interest revenues over prior years which is great. looking at expenditure changes. Uh we have some increases in certificated salaries and benefits mostly for subs time sheets and then um we had some vacancies that we were filling through university instructors um contract and then we actually hired a couple of those people on. So, we were able to reduce the university instructor's contract, but then we had to increase um certificated
salaries and benefits to go along with that. Classified salaries and benefits. Again, it's it it's uh we're seeing more subs in general this year than we have in prior years. Um I think some of that is we have um we seem to have some additional leaves just over and above what we've had in the past. We we are having to increase those budgets. And then for classified also um we created and you approved a couple of van driver positions. Those haven't been hired yet, but um those will actually save us money not having to pay um med why am I blanking on it? Medic. Um it's much more cost effective if we can use vans to transport our own students instead of paying an outside agency to do that. Then we also had some increase
in books and supplies. Mostly this was a um our community schools grant carryover that hadn't been budgeted for last year. Uh we have a $300,000 allocation to instructional materials and we make this um we make this contribution every year, $300,000 that's just for instructional materials. Um but last year we um we did hire an outside agency to close the books and this was something that just didn't get done when um when the books were closed. So we are remedying that this year and putting those funds towards uh instructional materials as we um have committed to annually. We have some increases in utilities which kills me because we we budgeted increases in utilities this year because they go up every year and um some of them particularly um I think phone and electric are the ones
that are um really going up this year. technology licenses which um also increase annually and uh also just seem to be going up a ton lately like 10% a year for most of the most of those licenses and those come from the tech department and our property and in um liability insurance went up just slightly. Uh good news we are decreasing our non-public schools and our non-public agency budgets. uh we had um I think we we have at least one student that we were able to bring back from a non-public school. And then in non-public agencies, we had a PO for a I think it was a one-on-one LVN that we never wound up having to use. So, we were able to close that and save some money there. Uh just capital outlay increased a
little bit. Um we received a new um strong workforce grant where we're purchasing um capital outlay, some Prop 28 funds, and um we're purchasing a transportation van for about $30,000 that actually came out of some um transportation savings in other areas. And then we also, as I mentioned earlier, we had to increase our transfer to the cafeteria program. our revenues um are not going to be hitting um where we thought that they would this year. We were very um aggressive I would say in our um revenue assumptions. the the goal was to increase uh I think we increased by 22% our participation last year and the goal was to increase another 11% this year and we have increased participation this year but it's been more like half of that I think it's been about 5
or 6%. Um and unfortunately because of the the cost of um food and the associated goods we have we were not able to decrease the um expenditures in the same way that we uh decreased the revenues multi-year assumptions um as I mentioned our this year's enrollment came in lower than projected so at first interim so you'll see um actually last Last year we had 8,51 students. We were projecting um a 3% increase this year. That would have taken us to 8,293. We've actually increased um 2.22%. So, uh we had enrollment of 8,230 students at CowPad's day and then we are projecting 2% growth for each of the next two years. So 80 just under 8,400 next year and then 8,562 the following year. We do still think that's reasonable. Um registration is still fairly early
for registration for next year, but uh they're certainly coming in and we see that 2% being reasonable. We're also projecting uh continuing to project an 80 a 94% ADA yield. So ADA versus enrollment uh we were above that at the beginning of the year and then everyone gets sick and so January and February our 88 percentage which is to be expected went down um it'll be interesting to track in March which is kind of our our last month really that we get funded on before we um complete RP2 for uh reporting and that's what we get funded on But so far, I still think 94% is reasonable. I don't think we'll be significantly over or under that. So, looking at the multi-year projection, our total revenues uh for this year, as you can see, are
just over 130 million. That uh projection goes down a little bit for next year, which is just because this year has carryovers in it, and um next year and the following year don't. So, that goes down to about 129 million. and then back up over 134 million in the third year. Total expenditures um 142 million this year and again a lot of that is carryover. So actually next year's expenditures go down to just under 128 million and then up to 131.4 million the following year. Um couple of things I want to point out are the net increase in ending fund balance projection in next year is 796,000 and then the following year is about uh 1 1,758,000. Um those are positives, but I also want to point out that the um there's no adjustment to
this year's budget yet for uh salary and benefit increases as a result of uh compensation agreements. And the final thing on this page is again looking at that um third up from the bottom, the unassigned economic uncertainty surplus deficit. um I mean it's a surplus which is great news for us. So at the end of this year that's what we have really available um for everything above the bare minimum reserves that we're required to keep. So that's 1.7 million this year, 2.6 million next year and just over 4 million in 2728. Um and you heard me say that that the third year out we um by the third year out we we're looking about a million dollars lower. Uh at first interim that 4,69,499 was about 5.1 million. So um that's where unfortunately uh we
are in a a little slightly less favorable position right now. uh looking forward into um the next two years. So items to keep in mind, as I mentioned, salary negotiations are still outstanding for both unions and the cost of management confidential increases have not been um put in the second interim budget either. So those will be pretty significant when we uh do get to those. A reminder also that this year's budget contains $5.3 million in border approved budget reductions and savings. And then included in next year's multi-year projection is already uh 3 and a.5 million in budget reductions and savings. We uh we do intend to um put the budget committee back in action uh looking at ways to um gain efficiencies, see where we can um cut some expenditures in the future. It's not
us just us. As I'm sure you know, districts are um having to cut substantial amounts. A lot of districts in our area are have issued quite a few uh layoff notices for next year and we're fortunate enough to be able to avoid that. But the fact is we are significantly underfunded to to do the duties that we're charged to do in educating our students. And um we have to figure out how we can do that with less money until we can figure out a way to get the state to give us more money. And finally, um you'll recognize this, but it is a nice positive for us that even though this year's enrollment is lower than projected, we are still growing. And it's um so rare in California. I you know, if I go to
a conference, um it seems like half of the the programs that they're offering are like how to deal with declining enrollment and um that type of thing. And it is we are very fortunate that along with these lean budget times we're not also having to deal with um reducing staffing for that reason and um losing students. So um I'm thankful for that. So finally the future as I mentioned earlier in May I will um update you on the governor's May revised uh proposal for next year's budgets. Then in June, we will um present the this year's estimated actuals and then next year's adopted budget. In late June, the state will actually adopt their budget for next year. Uh in August, if necessary, we will bring a 45day budget revision if there are significant um differences
between the information we used to adopt the budget and uh what the state actually adopts. We don't have to do that. most years, but but there are certainly um times that we've had to do that. Um in September, you will have the unodudited actuals and then next December uh we'll be back with um next year's first interim report. So, as a reminder, we are recommending that you certify the second interim report as positive. Based upon current projections, we will be able to meet our financial obligations for the current fiscal year and the subsequent two fiscal years. Thank you. Any questions? Um I had a question on the the diversion of funds. I can't remember under what that felt of the governor's diversion of funds. >> Um have you did you get an update on that?
Is that still happening? >> Um I have not heard anything specific to that. Have you? >> I I have heard that he is still with these projected revenues which the LA said yes, it is more than what they projected. They're still cautioning though that it's an AI bubble and that these revenues are not going to continue and that we need to be mindful that issuing these in ongoing is not going to be doable. Um, what I've heard is that the governor is is not saying that it means that he's going to fully fund, but he's still wanting to keep his maneuver and then divert new revenues to um, health and human services and other areas where they have not seen increases in >> so it's still on the table. Yeah. >> Yeah. >> I know
there was supposed to be a lawsuit. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Yeah. I mean, because that's a that's a big chunk. So, okay. >> When are you going to start your next budget committee? When is the next one going to start since we already got to start cutting again? >> I know, right? I thought we'd have a couple of years without that. Um, we're I think probably very beginning of next year. We're kind of doing um prepping for it and planning, but we that we'll be um I I would love to have the members solidified like before we go on summer break. >> Are you volunteering? I think we have two people assigned already to >> Yeah, I mean if if you guys want to keep that still and maybe that's a discussion for later.
>> I find myself gleeful too often and I feel like this suppressing uh budgetary stuff is just what I need. >> Welcome to my world. Thanks we member. >> Not you. You're a delight. The number is not >> good. You want this or you want that? >> Thank you. >> Oh, sorry. I can do that. I'm sorry. I'm I'm sorry. I'm having a real problem with my with usually I can scroll with my finger and I can't do that today and so I'm all over the place. Okay. Um, so do I have a motion to Okay. All right. Any second? >> Second. >> All right. Any discussion? All right. Uh, all in favor say I. >> I. All oppose. All right. Motion passes. Thank you, Karen. All right. Approval. Hello. You. Mike. >> For the
next 10. >> Okay. >> Good evening everybody. Happy St. Patrick's Day. As you notice, I do have several items. My goal is to finish them quicker than Carrie finished her two. >> So, it set that time. >> Calm it down. Uh, so the first MOU we have here is for the elimination of two LVM pair of positions. Those were actually already eliminated per the layoff resolution we did last time. This is to negotiate the impacts of that layoff. And as a reminder, this is one of those times that a removal or elimination of positions is is a positive because they were actually backfilled by two full LVNs. So it was actually an increase of services that were able to provide. So nobody lost positions based on this. These were both making vacant positions that we
backfilled with full LVNs and this is the union agreeing to the impacts of that. >> All right. Any questions? >> All right. Do I have a motion? >> I'll move to the >> All right. I will second. >> George seconded. All right. Um, any discussion? All right. All in favor say I. >> I. All post. All right. Motion passes. Next. Approval of go ahead. >> Sure. So 7.4. This is approval of changing the classification of a current LVM para which was a vacant position to quote unquote just a parah. And again this is a a case of a positive. This is a student whose required services for a 101 were diminished because a student has made progress. The auditional benefit for this is LVN/PARS are one of our hardest classifications to fill. It's easier to
fill full LVs or or parents, not this kind of combo position. So, this reclassifies an LVN par to a parah. But because that is technically the motion, it's a lower range. The impact of that needed to be approved by the union which they have and now I submit it for your approval. >> All right. Any questions? Do I have a Do I have a motion? >> I'll move to approve. >> Do I have a second? >> Second. >> All right. Uh, any discussion? >> All right. All in favor say I. >> I. All post. Motion passes. 7.5. >> 7.5 is anou that changes um uh re reclassifies a position at 12 Bridges Elementary School, which is one it is our largest elementary school and they serve a lot of meals. The staffing connected to that
site in the food services department was not as robust as it really should have been given how many meals they're serving. So our food service director Christina Lawson when one of these positions became vacant asked us to reclassify a food service assistant to a cook/baker. It's a far more broad amount of services that they can provide that helps ensure that that site's able to provide a lot of meals to a lot of kids. So it's basically a reorg of the food service department at For Elementary. Good move. Any questions? No. Do I have a motion? >> Move to approve. >> All right. Do I have a second? >> Second. >> All right. Any discussion? Okay. All in favor say I. I. All >> oppose. Motion passes. 7.6. >> 7.6 is the creation of a new
position for the district office, specifically the education services department. The ed services department has gone through a significant reorg since um this past year where we had some of our ed specialist administrators leave which we did not backfill. So Jennifer Aladdin has kind of taken her time to really be thoughtful about what is needed to make that department function efficiently. And so one of the ways to support that department's efficient function is to create a new ed services clerk position that is very similar to what is already existing in the special education department. The head services department, as you can imagine, gets a lot of paper coming through in terms of curriculum orders, everything you can imagine just to make the department function. This clerk's job will be to take care of all that clerical
stuff so other people who maybe have more administrative positions aren't bogged down in the paperwork and can do the leadership work that's really important there for their position. So, this is a new position to make that department function more effectively. >> All right, any questions? >> Do I have a motion? All right. Second. Second. >> All right. Any discussion? >> All in favor say I. I. All oppose. >> All right. Motion passes. 7.7. Sure. Lot of paper. 7.7 is the raise of our account tech 2. Our account tech 2 positions have been at range 28. In the recent uh comparison of the classified positions with account tech 2s or their light position with other districts and our comparables, we were quite uncompetitive. So ranging this to raising this from range 28 to range 30 puts
us right around that that six rank or so that we've been kind of trying to at least get everybody to slowly but surely so that our account tech twos are compensated at least competitively with our comparative districts and this was particularly important as we just established an account tech 3 position that the gap between them was not too stretched. >> All right, any questions? Do I have a motion? >> Move to approve. >> You have a second. >> I'll second. >> All right. Any discussion? All in favor say I. >> I. All oppose. Motion passes. 7.8. 7.8, excuse me, was the new classified salary schedule. So this is basically just putting into a document all the adjustments that we just made with the account tech to the ed clerk etc. So it's capturing what we
just approved in the various other classified items. >> All right. Any questions? Right. Do I have a motion? >> Motion to approve. >> All right. Any second. >> All right. Any discussion? All right. All in favor say I. >> I. All oppose. Motion passes. 7.9 >> 7.9 is a brand new position that is going to be within the certificated management salary schedule and this is being called the second language educational program coordinator position. As I previously referenced, the ed services department um was downsized by three administrative positions recently which we did not backfill as Jen Holland was looking to again how can we function efficiently but at the same time the workload that was going on with the remaining people within her department was not sustainable as I think Reno and some others can attest
to with what was going on. So in looking at what really needed support the secondary language or second language education program that's going to include things like dual language learners immersion English learner programs things that we just have a lot of work with our FPM to make sure that we are like doing what we need to do to support students who are in the acquisition phase of a second language. It is going to be this person to provide the ultimate downline of support for those students. So after a good 8 months or so, this is a position that Jennifer has determined is really critical so that her department can provide the services that our students need. And so we suggest this new position to be created. >> All right. Any questions? >> Do I have
a motion? >> I'll move to approve. >> Do I have a second? >> I'll second. >> All right. Any discussion? Okay. All in favor say I. >> I. All oppose. Right. Motion passes. 710. >> Okay, 710 has a lot of attachments. It's probably not quite as complicated as as it might seem. >> So 710 is doing two things and then it's got all these salary schedules connected to it that are impacted by the decisions that 710 would approve if you choose to do so. 710 starts off with offering to our management teams the 3% and 2.5% raise structure with 3% effect of January 1st of 2026 and 2 and 12% effect of January 1st of 2027. The same offer that's been made to all of our crews so far this year. management team has accepted
this and so these salary schedules that are attached reflect that the reason for all the different salary schedules as we have one that's going to be effective retroactive to January 1st of 2026 and another one that we need to improve that's effective January 1st of 2027. So that's one aspect of what this item brings to the table. The other in addition to the management salary schedule rates that we're proposing for all people in all of our management schedule. So that is classified management, certificated management, senior management, all of those and our cabinet as well. It does not include the superintendent to be very explicit. Okay. In addition to that, our psychologists and our mental health specialists. Those are people who find themselves on the certificate of management salary schedule because that's where they are, but
they're they're technically unrepresented. They aren't really managers and that they're not doing a whole lot of supervising or evaluations. We just don't really have a bonafide underrepresented group. So, they're bumped in with our management group. those positions. Those are our psychologists and our mental health specialist position. In a recent analysis, we find that we were eight out of eight in those two positions by a significant amount. So to rightsize them to get them to at least six out of eight with our comparable districts. This proposal asks for an additional 4.5% raise to just the psychologist and mental health specialist positions and that would be effective July 1st of 2026. So what you end up having is three phases of salary schedules. Those from January 1 of 2026, all management. Then those impacting July 1st of
0772026, it's all of our management schedules, but the only people that are changing are the psychologists and the mental health specialist. And then again on January 1st of 2027 for the 2 and 12% raise of this 2-year deal. So, I know that was a ton of information, a lot of documents, but it's not quite as complicated as it might look like. >> Thanks, Mike. Any questions? Um, do I have a motion? >> I move to approve. Uh, is there a second? >> I'll second. >> All right. Uh, any discussion? >> How many psychologist do we have? >> Approximately 12 calling a baker's dozen. just about one through site with obviously some of our smaller sites like shared and not having a full-time psychologist but but call it a dozen when particularly when you add the
mental health specialist. >> All right. All right. Any more questions or Okay. Uh do I have a We had a motion in a second, right? All right. All in favor say I. >> I. All oppose. Right. Motion passes. 7-Eleven. >> Okay. Last item. Uh this was hot off the press uh late Thursday, early Friday to get this in the packet in time. This is extending the same raise that was offered to the management group to the classified confidential group. There's a group of employees that work at the district office that are classified in nature but aren't part of the union. They're called confidential. That's normally due to their access of information, particularly when it comes to budget and negotiations that aren't for public consumption until they're actually ratified and approved. So they have their own
style of negotiations that we call meet and confer very similar to what we do with our management team and they have accepted the same raise percentages that we just went through with management. So long story short their salary schedules are going to be adjusted if approved 3% effective January 1st 2026 and 2 and a half% approved uh if approved that would be effective January 1st of 2027. >> Any questions? Do I have a motion? Is there a second? >> Second. >> All right. Any discussion? All right. All in favor say I. >> I. All oppose. Motion passes. All right. Any time left? >> We're going to call it a tie. >> All right. 712. Adoption of um of policy. Well, this is just a review. >> No, this is these were in front of the
board at the last meeting and for approval tonight and then we have Yep. >> All right. Um, this one includes this one. It's 111 195. Okay, >> the stagger is getting me sometimes. >> I can be honest. I know. Um, which is fine. >> It's a me thing, but um these are the ones just Jen >> uh just remind >> Yeah. So, district sponsor, social media, superintendent, recruitment, selection, debt insurance and management relations and local agencies and then close session. So, close session and carry. >> Okay. there and there was a change. Thank you. You remind me there was a change in close session um that you guys we did remove because we hadn't removed it from >> this one and that reflects this because that was an error on our part that was something
that didn't. Yes. >> Yes. So that Yes. The the one that's in the packet that was >> for review last time. It reflected the change. Yeah. >> Okay. And it was just just basically it was a something that we had already um taken out in a previously approved policy for our student uh members and it it was not consistent and so we consistent. Yeah. >> Okay. All right. Um so this is not roll call. >> Uh any uh questions? All right. Do I have a motion to approve please? All right. Do I have a second? >> I'll second. >> All right. Any discussion? All right. Uh, all in favor say I. >> I. >> All oppose. All right. They pass. All right. Section eight. Let's see. Review. Yep. New policies. So, uh, yes. So, this
is your next small batch of policies. You just got a handful and one is a removal because um it's no longer applicable. So, it's for board to review and we'll come at the April 21st meeting for consideration. >> All right. Um and Marie, did you have reviewed them? >> Okay. So, we'll >> let me know. >> We will let you know. Um Okay, sounds good. Any questions or anything? >> Question or anything? >> No. >> Okay. Yeah. Usually we come with something, but I didn't have anything. I think you had a one more thing that you were considering at this point, but >> Yeah. >> Okay. All right. So, all right. >> We will. That's fine. >> Yeah. We've got time because the next meeting won't be till April. Yeah. So, we've got some time.
>> All right. Do we have any public comments? >> I don't. No. >> Okay. So, I'm not going to read that. All right. Future agenda items list off what we have right now. >> Yes. We have regular review of AI policy and and that should be getting interesting here hopefully pretty soon. >> Soon. >> Yep. Uh early literacy success followup. Yeah, I think uh Jen is getting ready to do a the spring followup because we had talked about just kind of as we're getting close to the year mark of of having um less AIDS um in particular at the lower levels just how's it going and so she's preparing presentation before the end of the year for that. >> Perfect. and then academic excellence presentation that's December January curriculum and assessment >> and that was
the related to the guaranteed file curriculum and just uh assessments like ongoing monitoring of student um progress that wasn't necessarily aspect related that was >> okay Jason do you have a comment on that I mean it's it's sitting out there and I know we're going to talk about future items Nothing. >> Okay. Uh resolution for funding staff awards. Uh that's probably >> that was a >> we talked about that. >> Yes. And that was like board donation piece and um and the I have done some uh homework into this and so it would likely result in actual board policy um and not a resolution. So, I actually reached out to the county because there I think I had shared at the last meeting that um the county board um is doing something similar and so
it's just more of a if there's interest on the board, I can put the stuff together and then you all would ultimately need to decide whether or not you want to do it in the future. >> Yeah. And do you Yeah. Thank you. And do you think that we should have two members that um talk about how these funds are used and bring it to the rest of the board? >> Yeah. Well, so it would be um ultimately that the the board would collectively like there would be um the policy would do kind of two things. one indicate that the the board is waving um portions of their statement and those would be then um essentially rerouted into a fund that the board collectively makes uh agreements on how it gets spent and um indicating
such things as student scholarships, teacher award, student appreciation types of things, but that any uh use of those funds would have to be approved by the board collectively. What happens if there's board members though? Um are they forced then they don't have a say? What happens maybe and the policy could be a voluntary thing my understanding and the county is still working on there. So, I'm kind of late in the conversation, but it's um that it would be um it could be nothing to all of it type of thing >> based on how much we each decide individually. >> Yeah, I was thinking that too. Okay. Okay. All right. That sounds good. um academic excellence awards and >> that's just it's still on there because it's still somewhat pending based off of the last meeting
and there may need to be a little bit more >> behind the scenes conversation about exactly what that might look like. >> So that would be you know can you put that on Jen's >> Yeah I know it's on Jen's radar radar >> to have to have a position as part of academic excellence knowing that George and I need >> Right. Exactly. And it sounded like from the last conversation the will of the board was meeting once a month, not at each board meeting. I put that in and we're going to talk about more about what that criteria. >> Yep. Okay. Cultural appreciation class. We just added that. All right. So, future items. >> When is the next AI up going to be? I'm really interested in >> um probably after Lindsay and I have
a opportunity to have some conversation about um the new TK8 and then um also uh we've we've got a couple of programs that we're looking into. Um so it's it's not too far off. >> Yes. >> All right. No, I think um I think I'd like the board to um to agendaize sort of a a better understanding of board policy as it relates to um supposed to say that. >> Yeah, I wrote it down and I texted myself. So um we said um for policy 5121 as far as uh is the grading is consistent grading. Do we know what was the term on that? >> Consistent grading. >> I'd have to look it back up. >> Okay. It was 5121 but it was like a consistent grading. >> Related to grading. >> Yeah. Related to
grading. Okay. >> They said that the work was set policy for consistent grading. >> Yeah. Okay. Yeah. because there is the teachers assigned grades in accordance with board policy around grade. >> So that and then 6142 oversight of English and math instruction. The board has that. >> Okay. And so um we wanted to talk more about a guarantee the PLC's and guaranteed viable curriculum and then the uniform grading policy were the two but the two board policies particularly that I mean there were several but 5121 and 6142. >> Okay. >> Got it. >> Yes. Yes. That way we can share um some things that we learned today and it's going to be an agenda item so we can talk about it with more than just me and Jason. >> Okay. >> And then we'll I
think our goal probably is to have some action items based on discussion around those two board policies beyond just like review as a normal update process. would reach something that could be actionable >> because I think we'd have to agendaize the action as well. Would we not? >> We do an information first and then we did agendaize the action. >> But I've seen it both. I've seen information and then you can't. But if we agendaize both and something comes of that, we could potentially act as well. I wonder if we agenda. >> That's weird. The way we have >> Yeah. I think the hard part is that like the because the discussion slashaction or information slaction there is usually a identification of exactly what that action mean. So you have you you would have to
>> determine through discussion what you want the action to be and then take action in the future because the public would have has a right to know what actually will be acted on that night or considered for action. >> Public comment. No, >> I said you mention >> I did. >> I had just know you can probably answer on our weekly update. Jen had mentions about dyslexia interventions and um I'd like to have that agenda present because I have some of the parents that were on the committee that are wanting And I think we did a presentation if we can >> about the new curriculum. I don't know if you call curriculum, but the new support systems that you're looking to implement. >> Could that be incorporated in the early literacy followup or looking at
um assisting it um middle >> the middle and high school students? Okay. >> Yeah. Because they've been really pushing for that. >> Yes. With hesitation because we haven't finalized it yet. But it'll be coming to the board to be finalized, right? Or is that >> Well, we're still working out the details as far as if it's a class or if it's an intervention, all the different details of the principles. So, it's it's still tended to be push. >> Can we do a TV? Okay. >> I mean, because almost all of these are TD. >> All right. So, we will be discussing maybe what Okay. All righty. Upcoming meeting. Oh, I'm sorry. Were there any more agenda items? Okay. All right. Next meeting is April 21st at Creek Site Oaks and then we have one May
