003item which is the adoption resolution for certification of signatures with the onboarding of our new CBO. Our next item is item 7.2 to receive board policy for adoption and this board policy is related to a response to immigration enforcement. Um what each of us have before us is a revised document that was put on the agenda. I'll briefly state what the revisions are. If you flip to your second page, there's several underlinings. Items A, B, C, D, and E. They're the same essentially the same comments just in multiple applicable locations. Um primarily it's related to um our staff safety. So when there's a
004um an an officer or someone that comes to the campus requesting information of students for stu for staff safety one of the inclusions is to ensure that there's two people that are a part of that response as opposed to one individual so that there's support or at least um a dialogue amongst the team. so that the the response could be provided. And then the other item is related to how we work together with our local law enforcement agencies. In this case, it would be with the Hawthorne Police Department, the Elsa Gundo Police Department, our Los Angeles uh sheriff's department, uh depending on which department serves which school within our boundaries. And again, that is also for the safety and protection and process information of our local law enforcement. So, we're all working together to ensure
005that the safety of all of our students and all and of all of our staff, which is one of our key pillars that we've already adopted within Weisburn. So, uh with that, I'd like to make a motion to approve, uh the agenda item with those A throughE revisions that you all have before you. I'll go ahead and make the motion.
