001Call this meeting to order for everyone could please stand and join us for the pledge. Pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Thank you. Roll call, please. Trustee Matson. >> Here. Trustee Skolek. Here. Trustee Reiser. Here. Trustee Christopherson. >> Here. Trustee Wilson. Here. Trustee Galuza is absent. Mayor Baldermann. Here. All right. First up, we have one of our partners here today for National Library Week. We'll be proclaiming National Library Week April 19th through the 25th. It highlights the valuable role that libraries, librarians, and library workers play in transforming lives and strengthening our communities and certainly right here at home, our library does just that. They do an excellent job. Um the theme
002for this year's National Library Week is Find Your Joy. The theme celebrates the many ways libraries bring people together, spark imagination, and support lifelong learning. From books and digital resources to job assistance and creative programming, libraries are essential to thriving communities. So, our New Lenox Library uh every year we talk about this and it's unbelievable the numbers that they put up. In 2025, the New Lenox Public Library had a total number of 139,062 library visits. 263,755 physical and digital items were checked out. 138,811 website visits and over 600 different in-person programs and classes were offered as well as 162 home deliveries made to residents unable to physically visit the library. So, our library does an unbelievable job of taking care of the members of our community and it's nice to see you got that home
003bound as well that you take care of those that come out there. So, shall like to join me? Can I just say one more quick cuz you know I like to I like to while you make your long way around. Um so, as the mayor said, uh the theme this year is Find Your Joy and I was going to rattle off some stats, but the mayor took care of that for me. But, sometimes stats don't encompass the true meaning of things like Find Your Joy. Um I just want to call attention to some of our lovely staff here. We have Alyssa, our youth services manager, Andy, who works in youth services well, Fran and Aaron, who pro- process the books to get them to the shelves and make sure you can find them easily. And
004we have two trustees here, Trustee Lucky and Trustee Wheat. And these are the individuals that truly ensure that our community members find their joy. And I am so grateful to work alongside also other taxing bodies and local organizations that put patron or community first to find the joy. And I will say it over and over again, I've worked in many states and libraries and it's not common, it's rare, but as Kurt said in the meeting last week, that's how it should be. So, with gratitude, I thank you for recognizing us for this proclamation for a special week for libraries, but also libraries around the country. So, yeah. >> [applause] [laughter] >> Wonderful. Thank you so much. Appreciate it. Thank you. Congratulations to all of you. Thank you for everything you do. Thank you. >> [applause]
005>> Well, thanks to you too. Okay, next up is the public hearing for the fiscal year 2026-27 budget. Madam Clerk, do we have proof of notice? I thank you. Is there anyone that's going to speak on this today that needs to be sworn in? No. All right, Kim. Sure. So, the budget as presented on March 16th, 2026 has not changed. Um the total operating budgeted revenue is 94,306,752. The operating budgeted expenses is 73,489,043. Um some highlights of the budget. Total as I just mentioned, total operating um budgeted revenues are exceeding expenditures, which is important. Um the budget assumes 200 residential homes plus some commercial and industrial building permits including two hotels. Sales tax, which accounts for 48% of the general fund revenue, assumes a 2 and 1/2% increase over the current fiscal year's budget um
006plus recognizing the home rule rate increase that was went into effect on January 1st. 41% of the operating budget is related to personnel, um which includes a 4 and 1/2% uh cola. And then Crossroads Sports Complex, the operating revenue expenditures um are for a full year, which was not the case in the current year. Um which it includes a continued partnership with New Lenox Park District. Um we are addressing a lot of our strategic priorities. Um for the financial stability strategic priority, um we are maintaining 10 months of um general fund operating uh or fund balance, I should say, um which exceeds our 25% target. Uh for the focused development and redevelopment strategic priority, um we are we have the Crossroads Sports Complex field house construction being started. Um and also the new residential developments
007uh that will contribute additional lots include Turling Lakes, Spencer Meadows, Lakes Park, Cedar Point, Camera, and Harlow Valley. Um for stable leadership strategic priority, we are um investing in seven new employees and we're implementing our succession plans for some future retirements. The infrastructure maintenance and improvements strategic priority um is seeing a lot of activity. Uh on the sewer side, we are continuing on with our construction for the regional um water resource recovery facility and the regional conveyance system. Those construction uh that those are already going on and it will continue. Um we are designing a Cedar Road um pump station and uh we are the Summerfield Road pump station also design is being initiated. For water, we are um maintain or we are replacing older water lines near Cedar and Wood Street. We're constructing a
008new water tower um that's going to serve the southeast quarter uh quadrant of the village. And we're going to design a new water tower to to benefit Route 6 um and Cedar area. We are continuing with the expanded roadway uh motor fuel tax program and we also are going to improve the um Route 30 medians. And then we are going to finish the uh New Lenox Commons infrastructure improvements. Um so, as you can see, we have we're we're addressing a lot of um strategic priorities and having a lot of activity in this budget year. That's all I have. All right, very good. Any questions for Kim at this time? No. Okay, then we'll close the public hearing. Next 2026, minutes of the regular meeting March 23rd, 2026, resolution declaring Arbor Day in the Village of
009New Lenox April 24th, 2026, raffle license for 26 for the New Lenox Baseball Association, approval of purchase transport trailer New Lenox Police Department, approval of purchase radar messaging board trailers for the police department, resolution authorizing participation in the State of Illinois rock salt joint purchasing program for 26-27, and a surety release for Jiffy Lube. Any member wishing those items to be pulled and discussed separately? No. If not, is there a motion to approve the consent agenda? So moved. Second. Motion by Trustee Matson, second by Trustee Skolek. There's nothing further. Roll call vote, please. Trustee Christopherson. I. Trustee Skolek. I abstain from A. Trustee Wilson. I. Trustee Reiser. I. Trustee Matson. I. Mayor Baldermann. I. Motion carries. Okay, next up we have consideration for approval of a resolution amending the annual budget for fiscal year 25-26.
010Kim, anything else you want to add? No, that is for this current fiscal year and this is just a lot of them are just timing issues. Timing. Okay. Any questions for Kim? All right, is there a motion to approve the resolution? So moved. Second. Motion by Trustee Reiser, second by Trustee Matson. Close enough. Close enough. Yeah, it'll work. Any comments or questions? Roll call vote, please. Trustee Matson. I. Trustee Reiser. I. Trustee Wilson. I. Trustee Skolek. I. Trustee Christopherson. I. Mayor Baldermann. I. Motion carries. Next is consideration for approval of resolution adopting the annual budget that Kim talked about for fiscal year 26-27. Questions? Kim, anything else? No, good. Questions? Okay, need a motion. So moved. Second. Motion by Trustee Wilson, second by Trustee Skoleas. If there's nothing further, roll call vote, please. Trustee Christopherson.
011Aye. Trustee Skoleas. Aye. Trustee Wilson. Aye. Trustee Reiser. Aye. Trustee Matson. Aye. Mayor Baldermann. Aye, motion carries. Okay, next few items are with Spencer Meadows. First, we have consideration for approval of an ordinance granting a special use for final PUD plat for Spencer Meadows. We also have consideration for approval of plat of easement for offsite storm uh sewer for Spencer Meadows and then the setting of surety. Robin, you want to take the first couple? Sure. Um back in January, the board um held first read of the ordinance approving the final PUD plat for Spencer Meadows. At that time, the developer was proposing two phases. Um since that that time, he's worked with staff and this final plat does encompass the entire um subdivision. So, it includes two lots that would um closely resemble the lots
012in Prairie or in Ashton Estates North, which is to the south of this property, um as well as 50 um three lots for uh on smaller lots for what they're calling cottage homes. Um those lots are uh minimum of 61 ft wide and a little over 7,000 sq ft is the minimum area. Um landscaping does comply with uh the village code. There would be a monument sign placed along Spencer Road um close to a water main, so there's language in the ordinance saying that if the sign has to be removed, the village would not be responsible for um replacing it. And then these are some examples of the variety of floor plans. They're predominantly ranches, but some models would have a optional loft or bedroom upstairs. Um but they would all comply. Their minimum is
0131,600 sq ft um and they would all have first floor brick. Um the offsite easements um is shown here in yellow and that is for storm sewer um on property that is not included in this development. Um one other thing that has changed as a result of them going uh forward with the plat in one phase is that they are requesting to get permits before all of the public improvements are done. So, the ordinance does um set forth what has to be done before permits would be issued um predominantly the offsite water main and water main through the subdivision, but then they would finish um basically the um the north-south street and get permits on that and then while they are finishing um Jack's Trail, which is the the curved one that goes out to
014Spencer Road, um they would at least be able to get permits uh and start building on the west part of the property while they finish the improvements to the east. Um so, at this time, staff is recommending approval. Okay, the petitioners here tonight, anything to be added? No, nothing. We're good. All right, very good. All right, first is uh consideration for approval of the ordinance granting the special use for the final PUD plat. Is there a motion for that? So moved. Second. Motion by Trustee Skoleas, second by Trustee Wilson. Comments or questions? Anything? Okay, roll call vote, please. Trustee Matson. Aye. Trustee Reiser. Aye. Trustee Wilson. Aye. Trustee Skoleas. Aye. Trustee Christopherson. Aye. Mayor Baldermann. Aye, motion carries. Now, I need consideration for approval of plan of easement for the offsite storm sewer. So moved.
015Second. Motion by Trustee Skoleas, second by Trustee Christopherson. Comments or questions? No? Roll call vote, please. Trustee Christopherson. Aye. Trustee Skoleas. Aye. Trustee Wilson. Aye. Trustee Reiser. Aye. Trustee Matson. Aye. Mayor Baldermann. Aye, motion carries. Now, we need a consideration for approval of setting surety for the Spencer Meadows offsite public improvements. Will? Yeah, uh thank you, Mayor. So, for all the stuff that Robin just mentioned, we're looking to set the surety in the amount of $2,753,828.57. All right, very good. Any questions for Will? Motion to approve the setting of surety? So moved. Second. Motion by Trustee Skoleas, second by Trustee Christopherson. If there is nothing further, roll call vote, please. Trustee Christopherson. Aye. Trustee Skoleas. Aye. Trustee Wilson. Aye. Trustee Reiser. Aye. Trustee Matson. Aye. Mayor Baldermann. Aye, motion carries. Thanks very much. Good luck.
016All right, next up is consideration of ordinance prohibiting the use of a potable water supply by the installation or use of potable water supply wells or by any other method in a limited area of New Lenox as depicted in exhibit A to this ordinance. This is a first read. Brian? Uh thank you, Mayor. The ordinance will do exactly as titled. Uh it'll prohibit the use of groundwater as a potable water supply on seven parcels around uh 301 West Maple Street, which is the uh Speedway gas station near wastewater treatment plant number one. Other properties include uh the property just to the east and west, the metro tracks, um the wastewater treatment plant number one and Haines Park. Uh This ordinance is uh being requested by Marathon Petroleum, which is the parent company of Speedway, and
017is due to leaking underground storage tanks located at the gas station. Uh the ordinary This ordinance is the first step of entering into an environmental indemnity agreement with Marathon, uh which will allow them to take responsibility for removing any contaminated soils if we run across any by doing construction at the next phase of uh the uh water resource >> that to the board at the next meeting. Yeah. We'll bring that to the board uh at the next meeting. Yeah. >> [clears throat] >> Uh there's a a few other items that need to be addressed also. A highway authority agreement Right. needs to be passed also and then we could enter into that agreement with Marathon. >> But that's important. They're going to take responsibility >> They're going to take responsibility and remove the contaminated soils
018should we run across them. >> won't make turn into a Correct. It won't hinder us from moving forward. All right, this is first read. Any questions for Brian? So, the remediation that's going to coincide with the construction of the the pump station, is that is that what we're saying here? Or just trying to get a feel for timing on Yeah, so Correct. So, we've got to give uh Marathon a 30-day notice when we before beginning construction. Uh once we begin construction, if we do run across any uh contaminated soils, we'll be testing for them as they construct. Yeah. And if we do, then Marathon will then step in and take responsibility for Okay. remediating it. So, they're going to take financial responsibility or they're going to do the work? They will take financial responsibility. >>
019what we prefer. We're not going to do the work, they pay. Mhm. Good. All right, any other questions for Brian on that? Okay, we'll bring that back as as well as the rest of them. Thank you. All right, next up we have consideration of ordinance amending chapter 106 zoning of the village code to create criteria for allowing hotels as special uses in certain commercial zoning districts and removing hotels as a permitted use in the I-1 limited industrial district. Robin? Yes. Um so, as the area near the Crossroads Sports Complex starts to develop, um we've got interest from a couple of hotels, um but the concern has been raised about how many hotels um are reasonable uh before they start over saturating the market and competing against each other. So, this ordinance would classify special use
020uh hotels and motels as special uses in the C-2, uh C-3, C-6, and C-7 districts. Um and then it would set uh special use criteria that at at such time as we reach 700 units or 700 hotel rooms, that part of the special use process would include um a STAR report, which is an industry uh an industry standard report on hotel occupancy and they would have to demonstrate that existing hotels have operated at an 80% occupancy rate for the preceding 12 months. Um because we do have two hotels that we are working with, um so the ordinance is drafted such that it would not go into effect until January 1st, so that the hotels that we're already working with don't have to go through the special use process right now. All right, very good. And
021that's very good. And that was important to them as well. They're out there making sure that they're not Any other thing we want to be careful of is um we don't want to just have any type of hotel go up and thrown up. We want to make sure we have the right hotels for our area, for what we're trying to accomplish. I mean, for the whole town, but certainly for that area. We don't want to be over saturated. And that's um this is one of the things we talked about negotiating with the land sale over there to bring the hotels here. So, that's good stuff. Any questions on that? Okay, we'll bring that back then. Thank you. All right, next we have consideration of approval of resolution authorizing uh the standard form agreement between the
022Village of Lenox and Trkla Architecture. This is for the 140,000 sq ft field house. Um staff and council have gone over it. Uh the total cost for design and construction observation uh for the addition to the maintenance and field house as well is uh $2,726,850. The good [clears throat] news is the majority of this funding is uh being paid by uh the interest that we earned off the initial offer. Curt, anything to add on that? >> The only other thing The only thing that this does not include is the MEP or the mechanical, electric, and plumbing. That will be handled uh separately from that, but all the other design elements will be handled by them. Plus the construction observations, you said. Very good. All right, any questions on this? No? All right. Is there a
023motion to approve the resolution? So moved. Second. Motion by Trustee Matson, second by Trustee Skoleas. Comments or questions? Okay, roll call vote, please. Trustee Matson. Aye. Trustee Hi. Trustee Wilson. Hi. Trustee Skelly. Hi. Trustee Christopherson. Hi. Mayor Baldermann. Hi. Motion carries. Okay, next is consideration for approval of a contract for commercial and industrial available sites. This is exemplified Nancy Dye is asking for this is our economic development coordinator. The cost is $4,000 and this is software that identifies commercial and industrial properties land available for sale or lease within a defined area including of course our zip code. She does a great job. She got people emailing her and calling her all the time looking for spots and locations. So Robin would you Just to add the benefit of this over the current system is this
024automatically uploads those sites to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity and the um the Illinois Economic Development Corporation or IEDA. So it gives us more exposure on on those sites as well. All right, excellent. All right, any questions on that? Okay, is there a motion to approve the contract? So moved. Second. Motion by Trustee Skelly, second by Trustee Christopherson. There's nothing further roll call vote please. Trustee Christopherson. >> Hi. Trustee Skelly. Hi. Trustee Wilson. Hi. Trustee Reiser. Hi. Trustee Matson. Hi. Mayor Baldermann. Hi. Motion carries. Okay, next we have consideration for approval of an amendment to a proposal for engineering services for Crossroads Sports Complex outlots from Spaceco. Um yeah, so this um this amendment does uh several things. The first is to um adjust the lot line for the hotel that was recently
025purchased um at the the foot the footprint exceeded what was originally platted for that lot. So um we when we closed we did a meets and bounds or we did a um a legal description transferred for that. So just to make it cleaner and all one lot this would um do another resubdivision. Um and also the legal description that was done for that lot. Um then they would also have uh uh prepare the land title survey for the lot two which is the 15 acres that are or 12 acres that are under contract with um Pulse Properties. Um and then they would also um provide a a number of services related to our contract for that. Um and then lastly there is a a bit of a flood plain that crosses through the property. Um
026it was mitigated through the detention um ponds that were constructed up there but in order to get it recognized as being out of the flood plain there are some topographic and other um services that would be provided for that. The total cost is 23,750. Yeah. And uh initially if you recall the purchaser of lot eight was also had the ability to purchase lot seven at some time in the future. Um when we found somebody uh for the other 12 well the other acres plus ended up being 12 acres it made it necessary to be able to change where lot eight was. Uh that was part of the confusion as well but certainly was in our benefit because what would have happened is we would have had one through six developed eight developed and then seven
027would have been sitting there and hopefully developed in the future but it didn't. We were able to negotiate seven away from the owner of lot eight. And so as you know um it's all in our favor. It's in their favor as well to to make for a a better flowing lot. Uh Spaceco has done a great job doing that. Any questions on that? Okay, is there a motion to approve the amendment uh for the engineering services? So moved. Second. Motion by Trustee Reiser, second by Trustee Skelly. Comments or questions? Roll call vote please. Trustee Matson. Hi. Trustee Reiser. Hi. Trustee Wilson. Hi. Trustee Skelly. Hi. Trustee Christopherson. Hi. Mayor Baldermann. Hi. Motion carries. Okay, next we have consideration for approval of a resolution authorizing and approving a first amendment to option and lease agreement New
028Singular Wireless AT&T. Mark. Yes, uh AT&T approached us um last year wanting to um renegotiate the contract that expires in 2030. Uh they want to lower the monthly rents and the future yearly in- increases. Um we negotiated for several months and came to a an agreement where the monthly rent will not go down um but we will give them a couple years of no increases from 2030 to 2032. They'll be 3% every year after that. This is a five-year contract with auto five automatic five-year renewals. Um there were some minor changes that Chris proposed. Um we are waiting to hear back from AT&T but it doesn't affect the any of the actual terms of the contract. So I'm asking for approval based on those conditions. And they have come back numerous times and we've held
029steady that hold the contract. There a new tower coming in would come in at about half the price that we get monthly. So Mark has held steady negotiating with them. So it's actually still a very good deal with us that that they wanted us to get back to something that would be akin to a new a new site as opposed to what has been or close to twice as what you'd get on a new site. Mhm. Mark this version has my change in the moment. Yeah, that does they have not approved that version yet. Well, it was all it was >> is all we're going to approve. So It is yeah. There's nothing as Mark said there's nothing in the the the business. He was clarifying I'm just making sure we can move forward with
030this as as All right, any questions for Mark on this? All right, is there a motion to approve the resolution? So moved. Second. Motion by Trustee Skelly, second by Trustee Wilson. There's nothing further a roll call vote please. Trustee Christopherson. Hi. Trustee Skelly. Hi. Trustee Wilson. Hi. Trustee Reiser. Hi. Trustee Matson. Hi. Mayor Baldermann. Hi. Motion carries. Okay, next up we have consideration for approval of a construction contract for water main extension for Pete's Fresh Market. Will. Yes, thank you Mayor. So as Pete's is is going in there were some changes to that building from the original proposal which required water main extension basically around the west side of that building that we need to do out there. So we've we've reached out to to a local company J.S. Alberico and asked them to give
031us a proposal for that. So two things one asking for a waiver of the bidding requirement. Alberico is is a local company they've done a lot of work in the area and and to get this done and get it in so that Pete's can complete all their site work we're asking to waive that bidding requirement and then this work asking for approval of the the contract itself in the amount not to exceed $105,800. All right, questions for Will? No. Just the water main so that's that's our responsibility to provide that's why we are having to. Correct. >> Okay. Correct. We it was part of the original agreement and until they could give us the footprint of the building it was difficult for us to see where that line would would loop the system. Okay. All
032right, and we do need to obviously get this done right away so we can get correct drawings. All right. Any other questions for Will? All right, first is there a motion to waive the formal bid process? So moved. Second. Motion by Trustee Matson, second by Trustee Skelly. All those in favor signify by voice vote of I. I. Opposed? Motion carries. Now is there a motion to approve the construction contract? So moved. Second. Motion by Trustee Reiser, second by Trustee Christopherson. There's nothing further roll call vote please I'm sorry roll call vote please. Trustee Matson. Hi. Trustee Reiser. Hi. Trustee Wilson. Hi. Trustee Skelly. Hi. Trustee Christopherson. Hi. Mayor Baldermann. Hi. Motion carries. Okay, next up we have consideration for approval of a construction contract emergency vehicle preemption device maintenance with Meade Electric. Will. Yep. Yes,
033thank you again Mayor. Um so these um EVPs is kind of what we call them in the industry. Those are the little blinky lights that turn the the majority of the ones in town are on IDOT right away areas that they're in charge of. So um they've done a inventory of those and found um quite a few issues out there and I think there's I think about 15 to 20 different areas um that we have issues with them. So we're looking for approval tonight to have Meade go out there and fix all of those so um everything works in in accordance with what it's supposed to do. And that uh contract we'd look looking for approval not to exceed $27,000 $537.38. >> And obviously this is an emergency. This is part of our emergency police
034and fire service. Correct. All right, any questions for Will? Is there a motion to approve the construction contract? So moved. Second. Motion by Trustee Skelly, second by Trustee Wilson. There's nothing further roll call vote please. Trustee Christopherson. Hi. Trustee Skelly. Hi. Trustee Wilson. Hi. Trustee Reiser. Hi. Trustee Matson. Hi. Mayor Baldermann. Hi. Motion carries. All right, next up we have consideration for approval of purchase vehicle barriers for police department. Chief. Uh thank you Mayor. I'm requesting to approval to pre-order 50 Pentagon F-18 vehicle barriers that are budgeted in the FY26-27 budget. Uh these barriers stabilize um our rapid deployment where no heavy equipment is required. The amount of barriers we're looking to purchase will um give a complete uh common shutdown during uh large event and also can be used on any other events as
035they're very mobile. Can be set up with individual people and used in many different places. Um the lead time on these barriers is four to six weeks. We believe having them closest to when the entertainment season starts is most beneficial. We wouldn't take possession of them invoice or payment until the the budget year starts but we'll be looking to purchase 50 of these barriers. They're $1200 each. That would be a $60,000 purchase. And these are special type of barriers so we're going to need to wave the formal bid process to go directly to this company. It's mobility and it's flexibility was what the police were Yeah, we need that. Are there any questions for the chief? Okay, I need a motion to wave the formal bid process. So moved. Second. Motion by Trustee Matson, second
036by Trustee Skolies. All those in favor signify by a voice vote of aye. Aye. Opposed? Motion carries. Now is there a motion for the purchase for the vehicle purchase? So moved. Second. Motion by Trustee Matson, second by Trustee Skolies. Comments or questions? Okay. Roll call vote, please. Trustee Christopher. Aye. Trustee Skolies. Aye. Trustee Wilson. Aye. Trustee Reiser. Aye. Trustee Matson. Aye. Mayor Baldermann. Aye. Motion carries. Okay, under reports and communications, um, tickets are on sale for the concerts that we have, uh, already publicized. We are going to, uh, in the next few weeks be announcing one final concert that will take place, uh, in September, but we're not allowed to, uh, put that out there yet, but it is a major, uh, star from, uh, from a major band. You know, we have one of
037those once before, but it's a different band this time so don't Paul McCartney's not coming. Um, but that will be exciting. Uh, so we would encourage everybody out there to do that and, um, that's all I have. We've got a whole list of summer activities that are out online that we would encourage people to, uh, go to newlenox/events and, uh, see all the great things we have happening in our community. Aubrey's really working hard on that. All right. If there's nothing for me, village attorney? Nothing tonight. All right, thank you. Um, village administrator? Just to quickly go off of what Michelle, uh, mentioned tonight. We were at a meeting last week and it was, uh, the taxing, see all the taxing bodies. It was interesting. They went around and talked about projects that we're working
038on. We were literally not only working together but working together on projects, uh, with all the other taxing bodies. So it is, it, sadly it's unique. It should be how things are normally run, but it, it, it does say something about the village that the, the cooperation between all the taxing bodies. Well, it does and and it certainly wasn't like that as Robin and Kim and I know, Brian knows, when I first got here in 2001, there was, uh, a lot of bad blood. A lot of bad blood between the schools, the parks, the village. Uh, and there was not cooperation and things did not go well, but it's taken a lot of work uh, to get it where it is and it's nice that all of our boards work well together as well as
039all of our staff, uh, for the better, betterment of the community. So that's great stuff. And it is incredibly unique, no question. So very good. Thank you. All right, payroll disbursements, Trustee Matson. Yes, sir. I make the motion to approve our bi-monthly disbursements in the amount of $6,964,500.87. In addition to these disbursements, approval is needed for payroll in the amount of $529,833.12 paid on April 2nd, 2026 and that would be in the form of a motion. And I will second that. Okay, motion's been properly moved and seconded. Any comments or questions? Roll call vote, please. Trustee Matson. Aye. Trustee Reiser. Aye. Trustee Wilson. Aye. Trustee Skolies. Aye. Trustee Christopher. Aye. Mayor Baldermann. Aye. Motion carries. Anything else, Kim? No, sir. All right, nothing, no one here on the floor. Trustee comments, Trustee Reiser. Yeah, two
040positive things. Uh, last week my son had a baseball game out at the sports complex on a Tuesday night and it was freezing. Um, but that place was packed and it was really good to see that on a, on a Tuesday night, Tuesday cold night. So, uh, great job to Scott and the rest of the staff there. And then just wanted to make note on Beth, uh, Beth Alderson's, um, write up here in the packet about the Find Your Fun program. What a great thing that is where, uh, the sports complex is going to be generating interest and tax income just because of it being there, but it's also going to be driving, uh, that same thing to our existing businesses. So, uh, just great idea. I think it's, um, very cool that, uh, we're
041going to be able to uh, help out our existing businesses too because of that, that property. All right, good. Thank you. Trustee Matson. Nothing tonight. Thank you. Trustee Christopher. Just another shout out to the library. Um, we go there a lot. We have, I have four kids and, uh, at all different stages of life and there's something for all of them. And they just get so excited to go there. There are so many resources. Um, there's always something new rolling out. They have this cafe. You can, of course, books, but there's the, the 3D printer all the kids love. Um, it's among so many other resources there. Just get out there if you haven't checked it out yet. Excellent. Very good. Trustee Wilson. Nothing tonight. All right, thank you. Trustee Skolies. Nothing tonight. All right,
042well we have no, uh, need for a council of the whole meeting next week nor do we have a need for executive session. So if there's nothing further, is there a motion to adjourn? So moved. Second. Motion by Trustee Skolies, second by Trustee Reiser. All those in favor signify by a voice vote of aye. Aye. Opposed? Meeting adjourned.
