001all right with that it is now 7:06 and we will do a recall to order of a regular session than um can we please start with a roll call check here here Christopher boys here uh here done all right next up is public participation uh public comment members of the public who wish to speak to the board uh should complete a request card prior to the start of the meeting this section of the meeting will be reserved to comments of the public all comments should be limited to three minutes criticism of individuals is not in order um and we do have one uh public comment mrose hak ladies and gentlemen I recently received correspondence from a member of the board which stated quote procedurally we typically direct community members with the concern to the appropriate
002building Administration community members nor employees outside contract a contract requirement or school code process are granted meetings with the board so that we can comply with our policies and procedures as well as various regulations quote my original email to the members was requesting a meeting with each individual member I understand that the open meetings act as well as board policy prohibits board members from meeting as a group so any conversation with the individual board members would not violate the board policy or the law both the board member oath and the code of conduct state that the members are to quote understand their views and recognize their responsibility to represent the interests of the entire Community unquote I believe a board member cannot understand or represent the interests of the communities if they are not willing
003to have honest face-to-face conversations with community members opportunities like this one that I'm taking advantage of right now are not sufficient to truly understand the issues or concerns of the community elected members of government city council state representatives and Senators even congressmen meet directly with their constituents as part of their duties I do not understand why conversations with you the board need to be filtered through the bureaucracy of the district office you as members of the Board of Education represent us the community of the C leadership is most important excuse me is almost impossible to represent us if you're not willing to have open and Direct Communications with us I know that the correspondents that I quoted earlier is not representative of all the board members but I'm concerned that there are still board members
004that have not responded to my email requesting to talk to them thank you for your thank you all right with that we will move on to board correspondence um board correspondence I had planned on visiting Lincoln today and then it didn't work out hopefully the weather weather permitting soon will happen any other updates no uh this uh since our last board meeting I had several meetings uh one with the CTA and one with uh the strategic planning committee both of them are great and I'm looking forward to so uh from the strategic planning committee um they will be presenting at our next board meeting so I'm excited to see you know uh some of the things that were discussed during that meeting some of the progress and changes um that we've been able to make
005uh Stripes that we've been able to make uh as a district um in the within the last uh couple months or the last year so I'm excited for that so that's should be coming to the board uh in sometime in February and then for the dcta meeting definitely heard positive things about the e-learning and you know uh some of the the things that that have been taking place uh within the last week or so with the weather so we were happy to hear about that I know that there's been a lot of conversations going back and forth with that um especially because of the extreme weather conditions that we've been having so it was nice to hear that people managed to get to the e-learning the last couple of times that we've had to do
006that so if if I may interject thank you to all of the students who either emailed me or showed up at Jewel Target or any of the other stores that you saw me around the corner of our house and asked to return to school so I appreciate that thank you we will be returning to school tomorrow awesome any other correspondence no I just thought of something actually um Jenna our student board member she hosted um the students speak out in December so that was good and she was going to present today but we didn't want to have her come since school was closed so but she's very excited to share next one awesome thank you all right so the next item is item the uh uh which is uh approval of gifts and donations uh

01222 packages that were opened we did delay opening one package which will be open before the February board meeting so we'll be able to include that number into it and of the 22 uh 15 of those had four or more bids in the packages for the trades and of those six of those that were awarded are contractors that have worked in our district before some capacity so the others are still familiar to our construction management crew as well as our architect but we do have six that are familiar to our district also as of right now the preliminary is we are under budget and started I knew you'd be happy um and again at first review we anticipate that we will be bringing the majority of the alternates forward for consideration that they will fit
013into the budget also so um some good news there we'll have some more hard numbers coming forth on February 6th for approval and we'll include other soft costs that are not part of the bids such as the playground and the furn equipment and Technology we are getting some harder numbers for those so we can make sure that we have those budgeted property in the total amount okay any questions thank you thank you an under budget is always good I me thank you all right awesome new business um item a 2024 conference um this is a information action item do you have anything that you would like that before I'm here with members from the strategic planning committee and a member of um representating members of social justice committee as well as um Educators we um
014amazing things are happening in D Cal and people want to hear about it so we were actually invited and um we did a proposal it was really a long shot because it's is a huge National Conference um but so many wonderful people are doing amazing things here so we were invited to present and to bring people along um and then we're also going to be um coming back to you because we also receiv received the news just last night that we were invited to presented another National Conference what we do here I'm having um students um student school board members and even just um impending B barbs PC podcast all those wonderful things are we don't think that they're really huge deals but in the field of Education K through 12 people don't see things
015like that happening so the Cal is pretty forward in that manner and so um this money was already set aside we didn't think we were going to be able to go because again it was a long shot so this money was set aside out of um title two grants we have to spend the money or to go back so um we're just asking for your permission to to um travel out of state and due to time sensitivity it is we're seeking to make it a information exactly because prices on those flights are going up any questions from the board thank you um so with that uh do we motion then Jackie to make it an just call motion awesome okay thank you uh it is recommended that the Board of Education approve the out ofate
016travel to prep the prepar conference taking place April 24th through the 27 2024 is there a motion second roll Amanda harness yes Andre pal yes Steve buers yes Ariel Owens yes Christopher Boy Yes St yes yes all right Item B which is the association of two-way dual language conference that will be taking place June 24th through 26 2024 and this is an information item being brought To Us by Mr Billy and uh Miss AJ crook so um I'm actually gonna just introduce her for those of you who don't know this is AJ Kook she's our multilingual coordinator and she oversees our one-way dual language two-way dual language program uh along with all our ESL and services that we provide our l so um as you all know we have two AO language rolling up for
017K through three uh going to four next year so um as we do every year we are looking for professional development and found professional development for our upcoming fourth grade 2way dual language team and I'm going to let AJ talk a little bit about that good evening uh this is the same conference we've been going to for multiple years it's just fourth gr's turn to go this year this is a really great conference and it's offered in the summer so no subs thank goodness this year it's in Riverside California it alternates between Sacramento and Riverside um this year fourth grade will go the idea of the conference is not only do the teachers learn the pedagogy for dual language um and they get to uh talk with other Educators from Across the Nation they get
018to build their team together when you're two-way dual language teacher you are almost a married couple by the time you have your English and Spanish perod so it's nice for them to be outside of school building those relationships learning new strategies and they'll put them right into their templates of instruction while we're there um so that's their turn this year and then we have a few admins who haven't gone through training yet um and it is being paid for out of title for you the language Improvement Grant any questions this aome opportunity happy to hear about that um consensus to bring this back yes thank you all right next item is item C which is Kaki college early college program mou this is an information item that they're also seeking to make an action item
019as well du to time sensitivity thank you so much this is one of my most exciting presentations believe it or not that I will that I have two day done in my administrative career this is a presentation that's been in the making four years prior to even my employment in the dcal school district so I'm very proud of this and very excited about being able to launch this and we'll be even more excited to watch it grow so show me the excitement and the love this is an exciting project so we're forming a partnership uh further a greater partnership with the AR de Cals um local Community College Kish college and it is called the dual enrollment program so whoops I did not mean to make that larger so sorry we'll just use the she's
020so excited she don't use two fingers on the screen so what this is is a two-year program or a one-year program that our students will apply for be accepted into either for their junior year or their senior year so there's two different launching points two-year one year the two-year will allow our students to enter as a junior they would apply as a sophomore be accepted into their junior year stay in it for two years if they elect and have the opportunity to earn their ass associates degree at the same time as their high school diploma very exciting we have students in programs already earning dual Credit One we have classes here at our high school that are dual credit we have kids that go over to Kish College to take dual credit classes we also
021have students that are in our MSA program not ours theirs the MSA program engineering math science academy so two different launching points for this again Sarah don't use two fingers the pre-selection criteria for this is to be on track to graduate of course for their high school diploma a minimum GPA of 3.5 at the time they apply is launching into the 2year they need to apply at their sophomore year the end of their sophomore year for their junior year they have to have a b average in algebra and one year of geometry both B average in those and then complete at least two years of our English or Humanities class at a grade of b or higher by the end of their sophomore year for that um two-year program there are many different sample forms
022you'll see attached to the agenda and embedded in the presentation and their Early College handbook that is not just for us but also with the other District that they're working with so the handbook is not something specific for our high school then a sampling of the student forms that includes their application the counsel evaluation their participation agreement conduct policies and a sample acceptance there are two different paths the associates in science or the associate in art there's a one-year and a two-year plan in our I'll look at the two-year and then the one-year scope and sequence just really quick to highlight you know the difference there one is the two-year the top one is the Associate in Science and you can see which classes are elective the scope and sequence they have reserved a time
023for students to come on to campus in the morning and take these classes almost as a complete cohort with other high school students now sometimes our students will be with other College age peers you know because they are in college at this point um they will be rostered by them but they will do their best to have just classes for our high school students and then other feeder schools from other high schools into this there are online classes there are classes here at Kishwaukee College and classes here at our decal high school we have uh as they said Kishi had said an explosion of our our students enrolling in our dual credit classes so those are the classes that we offer under our roof we recently have added um dual credit welding since I've been
024here dual credit English 103 and 104 and very soon you'll see me come forward with dual credit stats and that's great because as we increase our classes under our Roof then our students have to travel to Kishi College they will have to for 50% or more of the classes but it's always easier when we can have it under our roof so just so you know that's what you're looking at on that two-year there's one page for the science and one page for the Arts and then same thing for the onee scope and sequence for the one year for this is the Arts and then the second page is the science nothing here is set in stone this will e and flow depending on um you know student feedback from us and from the other schools
025as to they may shift some classes around or as we offer more classes um here under our Roof then it would say you know that they don't need to go there that it would be at at our local school that's not presentation that's for me okay and then our attached mou we're also looking at how do we help to fray the cost for our students and families because if you look at the top part of this slide it says for both either the 2year ad on the associate de for science or Arts cost cost our student $ 7,747 per that's two years full associates degree under this two-year plan not the one-year plan and then I broke it down by how much it is for credits or transcripting fees and that's without materials and text
026that is straight tuition or the um transcript fees so teaching and learning worked with our B finance department excuse me and looked at how can we help def Fray those costs so what we are looking at starting off with is for students for the two-year program not the onee not the MSA this is for our twoyear program to earn the associates degree at the same time as the high school diploma is students that qualify for free or reduced can get $250 a semester and then um they would need to maintain an eligibility of a b or um higher average and then if you are a student that earns an a a average than $100 a semester to help defay those costs can a student qualify for both of those yes I think this sounds like
027a really awesome program and I think it's good honestly and we all know I Mr don't spend money but I think using District funds to incentivize our students to pursue education while they're with us it's an excellent use of our funds I guess the question I would have we pushed on Kish anymore to see if we can push that cost down I mean we're pretty much creating a pipeline of hundreds of students that are going to be paying them money every year we have we've had wonderful conversations with Kish to work collaboratively and kind of what's the best interest of uh um each organization and they have been very wonderful with us at helping us to guide our staff and to do the transcript reviews so we can have our teachers here teach classes so
028they have helped us in that capacity and many others they're also very helpful if our students do need materials helping us where do we find those where can we get them and their Counseling Services have been been so will in your view will Kish be taking on most of the logistics with our students then or will we be back you know next year hey we need another three FTE because we need more counselors to handle everything that we just had well it will be a partnership it will definitely be a partnership they will have um counseling and advisors on their end also working with ours so it will be an additional lift for our counselors it will be an additional lift on our schedulers because to make sure that our classes are you know meshed
029and matched and it's like playing a tricky game of chess as to where do we put these classes to try and serve as many students as we can it will be extra work but it'll be very rewarding work I can't can't make any promises on any upd but I don't I don't anticipate that just think how cost effective it'll be for families to be able to get a child through the first few years of college at you know at the amazing price of at $7,000 less than $8,000 for an associates degree and if they want to work we can hire them here because we will have positions available C HR for you and absolutely be glad to to them on as well it's very exciting we're very excited about so the reason why we're having
030them go over to Kish in the morning is so that they can attend their um if they're an Athletics or an athlete we don't want to discount them out of it as well because those are higher achieving so we're making sure we scheduled that so with this I'm assuming that the councilors will receive training and support to differentiate between the associates is a science for the students right yes they'll be working closely with they've already um scheduled the information night for this to come and speak to our students and families some have already started those conversations knowing that this was in the works and we just need to work out some finer details thank you thank you so much um and then due to senstivity uh with uh their catalogs right or something so we
031need theou to be yes information okay awesome any questions I just wanted to make sure that we understand there is anou that we have to have signed so that we can get things going keep things on track awesome okay any other questions awesome okay it is recommended that the Board of Education approve the kcki college early uh college program mou is there a motion second roll call Andre pow yes yes Ariel Owens Chris Boy Yes Stacy yes bam yes Amanda harness yes thank you thank you again all right item D Staffing request 1.0 FTE increas for home school liaison at De high school and this is an information item brought To Us by Miss thank you so much again here I am um Melinda catel assistant principal atelp High School is also here and help
032and support same thing with AJ crook um we have two F request the first one is an hsl as you've seen by the data on the agenda we have had an increase in student enrollment that need additional ESL services so this FTE request is in response to that we were um working well within our FTE allocations until we had some recent um additional newcomer students and we aren't able to move around students anymore to help accommodate what they need so that is the additional hsl FD any questions no consensus to bring this back yes thank you all right and then item staing request 1.0 FTE in increase for ESL teacher at theal high school and this really mirrors the hsl request as well that we will need an additional ESL teacher to also support our
033students okay any questions about that no consensus to bring this back yes thank you all right thank you no problem and then item F which is uh district 428 AI guidance all right so before we get started with all this I just kind of wanted to introduce this a little bit so there will never be less AI or techn or technology in this very given second that makes accessibility to these PL forms exciting and in times scary I view AI the same way I view other teaching and learning technology Integrations such as our onetoone which you guys just approved this evening stem uh augmented reality virtual reality it is a tool for the classroom when appropriate we're already seeing AI being integrated into platforms we own and utilized by staff and students we also see
034staff and students exploring on their own this presentation aims to to give a highle overview of the guidance document that has been put together with the efforts of the technology teaching and learning student services and diversity equity and inclusion departments it is a guidance document and not a policy because the landscape of AI is evolving so rapidly that it needs to be a living document a budget request of $30,000 for the 2425 school year is attached to this board item to understand Ai and education this will allow us to explore various AI Integrations such as this new lands as this new landscape evolves between chat GPT bar Gemini co- pilot llama Bing chat and that's just naming some of the large language models that are available right now so that here's our presentation so what
035is ai ai is now an intrical part of how we do things in the modern world AI is is embedded in the tools the correct grammar and AI suggests text as you type an email AI holds the potential to impact education positively but it also brings a host of new challenges and considerations anytime we have a large scale conversation about something nebulous like this I think it's really useful to tell you not only what we're talking about but also for sure where are the borders of what we're not talking about right so what is AI not what will this guidance not have anything to do with um and and where are the edges of AI that we're not going to even approach as a district AI can deliver content and information but cannot portray context
036or emotion this is a somewhat fancier way of saying AI is not going to replace human beings because I'm sure all of us know that um kids will remember not necessarily what we taught them or what we wanted them to learn but the way we treated them and how we made them feel which I think comes from myangelo but I got it from Mrs lacao when I was in high school um AI can only provide answers from the information it's been given and it doesn't know whether it's accurate or true combined with that next part I think this is really important we are going to be tasked with making sure that our students know that they have to be skeptical about all the information they're getting from AI because the answers are only going to
037be as good as the information we put in um like all data systems right but I think for our younger Learners in particular this is going to be something really hard that we have to hit hard on to make sure that they're looking through everything and recognizing the computer doesn't know if it's making things up or not so you got to make sure you know like the early days of Wikipedia um you got to make sure that you're approaching everything like does this fit with my common sense um and then the more we understand the concepts behind AI the better we can use it for constructive purposes and education and again guide students to use it properly to find the information and create content we do not believe that AI will replace our learning and
038certainly not the relationships between between teachers and students so we want to make sure that we're spending the time to teach students to use AI properly so that it doesn't you we don't open the Pandora's Box and have it get a little bit out of control we want to put it properly in its context this is a tool our students can use not the thing that they can take advantage of to get out of doing the work that will help them develop the skills that we need them to have so AI is here um there's no way around it anymore um we look at it as an instructional tool in collaboration with Ben we've been working with tnl to make sure what are the things that we need to know about AI um hence you
039all uh approved us to go to the AI conference to be able to learn a little bit more about it because what we give our students we need to know about so we're looking at it as tools just like our platforms our Chromebooks and they will never replace Miss lassio like uh Dr n said it's just it's not possible because what we bring um as human beings to the table with our students is irreplaceable but this is a tool that we will be using in the future with our students and now um so we really need to look at it as a tool of instruction and then um why do we need the AI guidance uh I think Ben explained it very well why we need it and why it can't be a policy it's
040changing it's it's changing right now as we're presenting to all of you so the big thing is we want to make sure that our students are using it um ethically and that the you know I know Ben's big on staff and data privacy so we got to make sure that we're in compliance with all of that as well all right which brings us to data privacy and security which everybody is very excited about so any AI systems used by students or staff that collect process or analyze student data will adhere to strict privacy and security standards is outlined by state and federal privacy laws so Sapa the student online privacy protection act is a state law Capa which is the child online protection act which is a federal law fura family educational rights protection act
041also Federal and then SEO which is the child internet protection act um all of those have to be adhered to in regards to AI in order to protect our students data um student staff are responsible for following the district acceptable use policy um sharing any students personally identifiable information is going to be prohibited on all district for for all district 428 users and we'll thoroughly evaluate any AI power tool or system before adopting it we will regularly review and ensure that the data privacy and security is being followed by the companies in which we work with the next topic is algorithmic bias which is confusing um and a long term um essentially all of our AI systems are going to be again built on whatever data we put into them so a lot of our
042AI systems have the entire internet that they can scour but the information is not vetted for whether it is accurate or fair and a lot of is based on human knowledge and understanding so this is a concept that we will need to continue to focus on especially as a school system that is dedicated to equity um to make sure that our students in particular understand understand that algorithmic bias exists and that we need to be constantly Vigilant of it when we're getting answers from AI um the best example I can think of to explain algorithmic bias isn't necessarily related to Educational Tools but if you think about your social media feed um how many times do you have to click on something like a pair of pants or a pair of sneakers before that's all
043you see and everything that we do sort of leads us down a rabbit hole that takes us closer to just seeing the same thing over and over um so if you're if you're seeing news about how your Comm Community is getting more dangerous and you're interested in that and you interact with that you start to believe that that's true everywhere and if you see information about really cool activities going on in your community and you know businesses that are opening up or that are people that are out having a good time you're going to start to believe more positive things so I think uh we need to be sure that our students are aware of this because again we have to carefully consider all the information coming at us to make sure that it's accurate
044and accurately portrays our reality and of course it's important to incorporate professional development as Ben stated in the beginning of this presentation we've already been interacting with AI through the variety of different platforms and resources that we use we just haven't said hey here it is AI and put a big Spotlight on it so we'll make sure that we're putting more and more of a spotlight on it and explaining the how and the why um and it clearly communicating and training our staff to be aware of that so then they can support students and February 16th we're going to have a teacher Institute or staff Institute excuse me it's beyond um teachers and we have many many topics in the morning they range from professional life how to use AI to support and grow your
045own professional practices um adaptive Pathways for our current programs differentiation problem-based learning equity and ethics personalized learning um chat AI in the classroom such as such as skill stro and AI the Arts Ai and physical education we have a wide array of different topics and we will continue to focus on those and embed those into either our PLC times for our certain learning groups of Staff our Institute days summer professional development workshops and whatnot that might be it we made it so uh is that the conclusion of your so I just wanted to make a couple of major points on this one is that you know when you ask the kids when they get home from school what did you learn you know all this or that right and there's some level of Engagement or
046may or may not be excitement from what they're learning the opportunity with this is that we're finally going to be on the page where the kids already are so the kids are there already they're using it they're they're accustomed to it it's just the adults us trying to get up caught up to that and not being you know um afraid not necessarily afraid but not wanting to use technology the way the kids are using so this is one way of us fin you know getting to that space and the level of Engagement that can occur so is this something we know kids like well how am I going to use this in the future well this is it right this is the future we want our students involved with AI because AI is really going
047to be determining how the future is being worked out so if our students are already being um acclimated into it getting accustomed to using it and seeing it it's not something that's going to be fearful is something that they're just like okay this is a part of what I know so they'll be more engaged and more connected to their learning and it will help us to reconnect them to their learning process on a daily basis so um that's the reason why we came we decided to to begin to bring this out to the the Forefront of our instructional practices any questions so what exactly are we spending the money on so as some of these platforms are coming out like co-pilot for examples from Microsoft they just announced today it's $20 a user so as
048we start to find cohorts or things like that to want to specifically utilize something like coort like a co-pilot um it gives us had opportunity to then buy the licensing for for those sort of things as well as uh chaff for schools which is our implementation from grades of 5 through 12 um that was actually starting this semester in which uh that is also a llm a large language modelbased platform with tutoring also in uh in platform so and those prices are are starting to escalate so it's it's basically to create a budgetary line item so that way we can track the spend on AI as well as be able to um honestly spend on AI yeah we're not going to be able to avoid it alt together because we want to make sure we're
049building in that technos skepticism in particular but it's not safe to just say get on the the web and use the free tools because especially if students put in their personally identifying information then it exists forever so we just we need to F that in so what is our I guess have we started to look into how these contracts look like do we have a guarantee like this much bandwidth is going to be set aside for your District so I know like when you use some of the AI that exists now it'll be like oh yeah you need to wait 10 minutes because 10,000 other people are in the queue before you that have put in no we're guaranteed with chaffer schools to be able to have access when we want access um but yeah
050as as you kind of stting with like um open AIS and chat GPT and some of those um if enough people from our IP space which is the physical addresses that are associated with our organization if enough people go outbound and try to utilize that AI for free it's going to cut you off uh you get like couple attempts within a day and then and then you're done and the same thing is starting to happen with like uh bar chat um being CH I mean like all these various llms that they're allowing you to utilize it a little bit so you can get an idea of what it is but ultimately all of them want to be a a subscription based sort of service and the subscriptions for Education from my perspective um from Microsoft
051and from Google are are pretty wildly out of whack um at 20 to $26 a user that's not sustainable even from uh looking at our students who are of the age of 13 plus as well as our staff um that's not that's not a license that we're going to be able to utilize but if we can utilize things like cha for school and basically um get the same results and be able to do it cost effectively as well as look at other new and emerging sort of Technologies coming out meta launched llama which is also an llm um and they happen to be in our backyard maybe some someday down the road there's a partnership opportunity but as it stands right now it's it's sort of establishing uh let's do AI let's do it with
052with guard rails let's make sure we don't take the car off the road and uh let's put it into place with safeguards and then also establish um a fund for it any questions right thank thank you say us to bring this back yes thank you all right um the next item is super report that was a last one so I wanted to first and foremost take uh thank everyone for the amazing job that everyone has done to make sure that e-learning was as successful as I believe it was and by that I mean um children went home students went home with their Chromebooks they went home with packets the teachers U made themselves available to our students I know it was a lot of work for our parents and I thank them and our Guardians
053and our caregivers uh for keeping their kids at home and the kind of work that they had to support them with I'm hoping that um um that the e-learning days are over and the snow days are over but I feel feel like uh it was a good decision to do e-learning versus snow days we don't have to extend the school year so we're we're able to do that but most importantly I think it was really important that we have the technology a one-on-one and we should be taking advantage of that um our our all of our uh Storm Team I'm G to call them oh thank you um has was amazing um you know the fact that our buildings were clean they were ready they were warm our parking lot shoveled side walks they were
054just ready for us and they did it all hours of the day and night I appreciate that I thank Tammy and Brenda for being uh on call with me at 3 o'clock in the morning 4 o'clock in the morning to make sure that we're making the right choices um all the cabinet for listening to everything that needed to be thought of to get everything done and all of the teams across the district making sure that we were all ready I really really appreciate it it just shows once again how uh we can work together as a team to make things happen dcta was amazing we did a lot a couple of collaborative conversations but one specifically on Martin Luther King day and they took their time we did as well to make sure that we
055were making a good choice for today so um again I just wanted to make sure you all knew and thank you and thank you for responding and giving me feedback on making sure that I'm making the right choices for the district as well so to me that's the biggest piece of everything I know I might have forgotten the name of somebody but I didn't do that intentionally thank you to everyone every single person that had anything to do with a child being any learning learning being a part of any cleanup being a part of all of that thank you so very much I appreciate that um I think that um the other thing that's just really important is that we're beginning our second semester and you know second semester brings a lot of things the
056weather number one right so we're going to have spring we're going to have winter spring and summer all in one semester and we need to remind students first of all you all asked me to come back to school school so you're asking me to come back to school that means you're ready to be back in school and learning we want everybody to be on track to finish their school year and matriculate well I'd like everyone to make sure that they're coming back and paying attention to what the expectations are and that we remember that you're coming to do a job students come in to do a job their job is to learn our staff is here to do a job and that's making sure that you learn and that the environment is conducive and that
057the rest of us are making good decisions for them so let's make sure that we stay on track make sure that our students get an opportunity to finish uh where they're supposed to everybody show up for school okay I mean that's it come to school learn and do your thing and we'll be uh finishing off a really strong and I keep looking up there because the camera is there so I want to make sure they no I'm looking at them um other than that thank you very much for this um opportunity to say that but thank you again for um all that you do okay that's it for me you know what that means with that um it is recommended uh it is now 7:53 and it is recommended that the Board of Education will
058adjourn um all in favor say I thank you everyone thank you for coming thank you be safe leaving please be careful walking outside
