001All right, our Science Olympiads, all of you come on up and we're going to stand right here so I can grab a >> [applause] >> Have a Stand right over here. I love the jingle jangle of all of their hardware. Okay. Science Olympiad. Wonderful. Under the amazing coaching of Ms. Patricia Burns and Rachel Ringler, I am excited to honor the Maple School Science Olympiad team. In just a second year, the Maple Science Olympiad team has achieved remarkable success earning, as you can hear the jingling, 163 medals across the season and >> [applause] >> 22nd overall in their respective divisions at Regionals for both Varsity and JV. The Varsity team fell just five points shy of first place, demonstrating that Maple can compete with the most established programs in the region. The team also qualified for
002state competition and earned an impressive 12th place finish of all teams throughout Illinois. Throughout the season, every event earned at least one medal and nearly every team member earned individual recognition. Through their grit, determination, and teamwork, these students have built a strong, supportive team culture and have established Maple as a rising force to be reckoned with in the world of science. Thank you to our teachers, Coach Kearns and Coach Rayborn, for all of their hard work in making this season fun and successful. Let's give these students a round of applause. >> [applause] >> Our [applause] students, remember my tips. Strong handshake. Ready? Take the certificate, strong handshake. Okay, here we go.
