This is very exciting. This, by the way, is the best best front row of a board meeting. I'm going to have you guys come to every meeting. This is fantastic. Fantastic. Um, we are very, very excited about our fifth grade jobs and we want to thank Willowbrook for setting a precedent that Wescott wanted to emulate. This year, fifth graders had the opportunity to read various job descriptions and apply for the ones that appealed to them. every single student who applied for a job and every single student was hired who applied for a job. They are doing all sorts of different roles in gaining real world experiences, building confidence and learning what it means to be dependable and collaborative as well as community-minded. While we have absolutely would have loved to have had all of our

fifth graders who have jobs, there are 44 of them who have jobs. Space was a little limited and so we did a random polling to recognize here a smaller group and I will be coming to Wescott next week to present board certificates to all of our volunteers. So, we really want to um just thank all of our fifth graders. And without further ado, without our wonderful leaders, Miss Bana and Miss Peterson, we would not be able to run this program. So, they're going to come up and help President Whiskey and and I give the certificates, but also tell about the job. >> Awesome. All right. So, first we have our Winnie the Wolves, who that's overseen by Miss Anna Davis, our technology integrations coach. These students took on an important role and that required responsibility,

commitment, and a willingness to serve others in a very, very uncomfortably hot mascot costume. They transform into Winnie the Wolf. They spread joy and build excitement and bring our community together at various events. So, if we want to recognize our >> Yes. Why don't you do the names? >> You want me to? All right. First, we have Samantha Swanson with us. and also >> Congratulations my dear. I'm going to give this >> Congratulations. >> Thank you, sir. >> Congratulations. >> Wait, you've got to come back up for a picture. That's the that that I mean this is the rule and this is the exciting part of getting recognized at the board is that you get a picture. Hang on. Come on the middle. Right. Here we go. And we're going to smile and you just

have to let moms and dads get the pictures. Ready? So, keep that smile going. Got it. Do we get it? Congratulations. And it will give other ones. >> All right. Next, we have our LMC helpers. They are overseen by Miss Margaret Janovic, our school librarian media specialist. They take on an important behind the scenes role to help make some of our most special school events possible. from setting up and decorating for author visits to assisting during book celebrations and library programs, really stepping in whenever needed. So, these students are very dependable and work well with both adults, peers, and show the WCOT way. Um, tonight we have Mirror. I didn't see Mirror. Is Mirror here? No. Um, Hayden Springer. >> Oh, oh my god, you're right in front. Where is Congratulations? Keep walking. >> Congratulations,

sir. And then you need to shake Mr. Risky's hand as well. >> That's how it works. >> All right. And then we are going to smile. ready. >> Okay. Oh, over. >> Oh, >> I know. Okay. >> Okay. >> Another big round of applause. Okay. And finally, a group that's very near and dear to my heart because um I get to work with them personally along with one of our PD teachers, Mr. Lrand, and that is our principal advisory committee, otherwise known as PAC. Um PAC is a team of fifth grade student leaders who work closely with us to help improve the school experience for all students. They give up their recess once or twice each month to meet, share ideas, and provide thoughtful feedback on topics like lunch routines, recess safety, behavior expectation, and

overall school culture. PAC members are respectful, responsible, collaborative leaders who communicate clearly with their peers and with adults and who consistently model positive behavior. Through their leadership, they help ensure that every student's voice is heard and that our school continues to grow in a positive manner. So I am very honored to welcome up Lucas >> Beaslo Joey Minberg. >> We have M delay also. Kenzie Hail Catherine, you got to shake President Ris's hand. Here we go. All right. And we need to get together here. Scooch down a little. All right. And we are going to smile at our parents or your parents. smile. >> Look over to the right. >> Thank you.
