Let's get this party started. Will everybody please stand? We pledge allegiance. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Be seated. We'll have a moment of reflection. So, first thing we're going to go to for is communications. Well, commendations. We're going to talk about our lovely football team. All right. Thank you, Dr. Fregi. I think Coach Hart, we're going to have you come up first. We've got a big bunch of people. You can hear it. Come on up. Come on up front here. Follow me, follow me, follow me. So we're going to have them get up here in a second, but the clanging, did you hear all that clanging before? The clanging

of a back-to-back state champ. You can see several of them that have two of them, which is pretty cool. So congratulations. Thank you. It's an honor to represent these guys and our football team. You see DJ up there in the front row with those on, and it looks pretty good on him. Well, DJ was one of the kids that you gave me early in the season. A lot of TV stations were interested in talking to you and to them at the beginning of the year because you were last year's state champion. So what's going to happen? And they all said the same thing. What things did you tell those kids at the beginning of the season? And how did you keep them focused on the goal? You know, we talked a lot about daily goals,

and it's a little bit like life. If you think with a marriage the best day is the wedding day, then everything else seems to be a disappointment. But if every day is a competition, if every day is something to look for and compete for, then it becomes easy. And, you know, everybody but Drew Bostic did an outstanding job on that. When I had you on drew you were fine you were fine that day it was absolutely great well you had a pretty outstanding Performance at the state championship game we got some pictures up on on that day the fans showed up for you again, right? No, they were they were incredible and you know to end the state championship basically the same way two years in a row as I as I give drew a

hard time, but you know the year before he intercepts the ball to end the for us to win the state championship and then on the onside kick gets it again was pretty special and then you you know that you look at the other great stories you know like AJ with the injury he came up that he had an entire state record was incredible and gosh the stories within the stories but the probably the best story is is that crowd and you know you think People get tired of winning or, you know, get complacent or whatever. And that crowd maybe out rocks the year before. I heard, Drew, they don't like you that well in Westfield. I heard you may never be the mayor of Westfield. Oh, I did not set that up the way I

thought I did. Well, we got some of your parents in the back and actually have some pictures of them on the right. You said you have another meeting after this meeting with some of your fantastic parents. Tell me what they have meant to you over the last couple of years. Well, you know, they're all terrific because they help raise these guys and make them the men they are. And, you know, the toughest thing that's going on. probably in this world is having vision for your kids. And, you know, it's like easy to say like, well, whatever he wants to do. And kids these age, they don't have long-term vision. So it's our job, and great coaching staff over there, a parent's job to have that vision and for these guys to believe in us. And

our grid iron club, and I feel like I say this every year, but what they did. to make this year special throughout the year was even more incredible than the year before. So a lot of people talking that we're going to maybe be in the same situation next year. There's high expectations again going into the next season. I was joking around with you that the Monday after Thanksgiving, he messaged me to make sure I had his parent square groups updated so that he could get the next group going for next season. And that's not a lie. So how do you keep those expectations going for the next season? Well, we try to break everything down into really small goals. And, you know, you try to first you start off with personal best. And you try

to get better, faster, stronger. And, you know, like I said, I love the staff. And some of them are like Coach Pop and a couple of them, Coach Kreider. doing second through eighth grade track right now. You know, getting those kids ready. And obviously we had a workout today. So I think as long as we keep everything as immediate as possible, I think it's the best way to kind of be humble and kind of stay hungry. Okay, so Dr. Fregi, I get you to come. You can do it right here, and we can get all you guys up here and get organized as best you can, and somebody's going to be in the front with the trophy. And once you get settled, then we'll do the commendation. Mrs. Murphy? Yes? I did want to say

we had a lot of tours that happened this fall. that ended up going through the football locker room. And I just want to say thank you for keeping that looking so nice so that every time I walked people through it, it was nice and tidy. So thank you for that. Dr. Jessup thanks you for your tidiness. I bet the parents didn't think that was coming tonight, right? All right. Guys in the front, you're going to have to kneel down or sit down or something so we can see everybody. All right. Dr. Fregi, what do you have there in your hand right now? All right, gentlemen. Congratulations again. We got a commendation from the school board for winning the 2025 Class 6A Football Championship and securing back-to-back state championships. Congratulations. Now stay there. Stay there so

we can all get your picture. Parents, come on over. Congratulations. We'll get back to the high school at some point. Not that one, no. This down. But later on, the kitchen comes, right? Yes. When it comes down to this stuff, we're going to have to start a meeting with all that stuff and restart it again after that. Okay, fair enough. Are you going to go fast? Okay. You know, it is amazing how fast and quiet it gets after that. Okay, let's go Dr. Dixon, Brownsboro Educational Foundation report. Thank you. There's a free SAT ACT test prep workshop all high school students But specifically sophomores and juniors are invited to attend this useful and free workshop hosted by be F and community partner clubs II in home tutoring on Saturday February 21st from 10 to 11 a.m See the be F website to register the back update due to inclement weather will be February 28th Thank You dr. Dixon Mr. Hacker operations update Thank you very much this evening just a couple updates really on construction We have the do have presentation later on the finances

So I will be a little bit more brief to in the ops update side, but just a quick update again We still have some construction going on at the high school for the interior refurbishment Just those finishing up the areas that were not touched neither the 2017 project or this most recent recent renovation addition with the senior academy and field house but we are and as we approach 2026 we'll remind the board and community on some of those completion deadlines and such as we approach spring break the connector hallway which connects the second floor from the senior academy to the main building will finally be complete i really feel like that would be beneficial to the entire flow of that building Right now, I believe they are pouring the terrazzo and such. It's pretty much,

it could probably be walked on at this point in time right now, but just really finishing a few things there. That's, again, we connect right up the upstairs art hallway, and that'll open up then to the kind of the bulldog stairway as you go around the corner. So very excited about that. It should open up at spring break. Also, the Vanguard interior completion. When we, in the 2017 project, originally built the Vanguard room, we just left it as one giant shell. knowing that we would come back later and complete that. So that giant shell of the Vanguard Room was split up into two, an additional classroom that can be utilized for all of our performing arts groups, as well as just finishing out that Vanguard with the acoustics, the carpet, the mirrors, the curtains, and

things to ensure that that is the appropriate. space for our percussion and our color guard groups in order to practice. They do have a couple, and choreography will also probably be in there as well. But they do have, I think, six and seven period that they have classes as well as after school on breaks. And I'm not sure the band guard ever take a break, but they will have a nice indoor spot for that. TV broadcasting area is also going to be complete around spring break. Not that we will move in there right away because that takes a little bit of time to get processed and get everything in, all the equipment. It's a little tough to do over a two-week break. We may have to wait and transition that in the summer. But the

area will be complete, which will be a little bit more north right next to the control room, which again is important because that's right next to all of our athletic facilities, especially with the increase in the live broadcasts. Just a nice area there away from some of the additional HVAC stuff that actually made that original spot. not ideal the current area that the tv broadcasting area will just expand into additional robotic spaces as well as project lead the way so additional use space i promise you we will have folks in there utilizing those classrooms Also upstairs art rooms are going through refurbishment that will open up about the same time as the second floor connection and the south locker room when I say south, south of the varsity gym. And again those are the old

volleyball locker rooms, old training room that we're just finishing up and as we connected some of that is as you connect that second floor we had to kind of redo some of those areas below some of the additional the piping and some data wires and such so we're just kind of wrapping all that up it should be finished spring break 26. And really extending into summer, fall 2026, the terrazzo floor around the varsity gym will continue to take place. That has to happen in sequencing just to ensure we can still get kids around the building. The varsity gym does close up after Bulldog Spectacular, which is a show choir event on March 14th. And that will be closed through fall break 26. As a quick reminder, closing the varsity gym means that some of our

spring volleyball, boys volleyball. The program will have to participate in the field house. And then also girls volleyball in the fall. They will have to play their home matches and practice in the field house. But it should be open up right around the time that girls basketball will be back in session for the varsity gym. And then last but not least this summer is the first floor art room. Again, these are all areas that were just not touched with the original renovation and just trying to wrap things up. So that is the construction timeline. Any questions on that before I move to my next slide? Is the rest of it going to talk about across the street as well? Not quite yet, no. So this is really everything, kind of more of the stuff that

will be finished, not stuff that's getting started. So it will be another ops update. We'll keep you. Thanks for that preview for maybe next time. And the reason we'll do it next time is we will be accepting maybe March or February is when we accept bids on East of Odell. So once we have all that information back for the East of Odell projects, we're waiting on that to finally share everything out in timelines and such. Thank you. Yep. And last but not least, for Ops Update, we wanted to remind folks of our community engagement meetings. And I say remind because this did go out in the State of the Schools newsletter. Thanks to Ms. Murphy for wonderful work on that. But ultimately, we've really been open and honest and transparent, we feel like, since talking

a heavily financial focus in our board meetings since about May, with the impact of legislation going even back to 2023, but also Senate Enrolled Act 1 from the legislation session of 2025. You've heard us talking here that we need to cut $3 million in 2026, and that is not the only year. In 27, we're looking at additional cuts, as well as 28. And really, these community engagement meetings is our opportunity to kind of talk to the community about those financial challenges, some of the solutions that we put in place. Dr. Jessup did an excellent job of talking about some of that information with our staff on January 5th as they returned. But we want to make sure that we communicate with the entire community. Because if changes come to the school corporation, we really know

that this is the center of the town and people want to know what's going on and we want to be upfront and open and honest about what those things are. So we are asking that a series of five is that folks, if they can attend, to try to attend all of those because they will build on one another. They are set to start about 6.30, same time as our board meetings. And we might be in this location, just depending on the number of signups. We're asking for folks to sign up because we have a large number. Then we may have to move over to East Middle School just for more space. So we will make that decision. But their signups are going on right now. There was a QR code in the State of the

Schools newsletter. And we will make sure and send that information out a couple more times. But wanted to make sure that we were communicate that today here for you all. And again, I know that you guys are aware of these meetings as we've discussed before, but any questions that you might have that I can answer on any of the operations update for this evening? Awesome. Thank you. Thank you. Dr. Jessup, second reading of the policies 3700 and 6130. Perfect. These policies thirty seven hundred is a reduction in force that deals with certified staff Sixty one thirty deals with bad debt. These are coming to us Just as a result of making sure our language matches what it needs to match with regard to Indiana code This is just a second reading. We will ask for

approval it at the February meeting Thank you Okay, next will be comments or patients, but we don't have any. So we're going to then go on to reorganization of the board for 2026. At this time, I will call for nominations of President, Vice President, and Secretary. I would like to nominate Dr. Katie Dixon for President, Jessica Hefferman for Vice President, and Gordon Hayward for Secretary. Okay, well, I will second that. Any questions or concerns, comments? Okay. All those in favor, signify by saying aye. Aye. Any of those opposed? Not hearing any. Motion passes. So congratulations all. And now we will move on to the election of board officer. Oh, we did that. Appointment of the following, the corporation treasurer and purchasing agent, Mr. Shane Hacker. And then Corporation Deputy Treasurer and Assistant Pursuing Agent, Mrs.

Allison Kovac. Do I need to do a motion for such things? Okay. Do I have a motion? Second. So moved. Okay. All those in favor, signal by saying aye. Aye. All those not. Okay. Motion passes. Okay. Let's move on to the next section. Board member appointments. We've got a couple of different places to fill. First of which will be the legislative liaisons to the Indiana School Board Association, which Mr. Wells has had in the past. Do I have a nomination for that position? I'll nominate Mike Wells to continue as our legislative liaison to the Indiana School Board Association. Okay. Do I have a second? Second. All those in favor say an aye. Aye. Okay, all those not. Okay, motion passes. The next one, representative to the Brownsburg Educational Foundation, which Dr. Dixon currently is on.

Do I have a nomination for that position? I'd like to nominate Dr. Dixon to continue in that role. Okay, do I have a second? Okay, all those in favor, signal by saying aye. Aye. All those not. Motion passes. I'm going to go to a suspension of the regular school board meeting at this time, and the new president shall take over. Thank you, Dr.. Preachy At this time we will call the board of finance meeting to order Mr.. Hacker. Thank you very much. Dr.. Dixon and congratulations on the appointment So this evening we will go through our annual Board of Finance meeting. This is a leg an Indiana code So it's really a requirement that all school corporations are required to go through it really is referred to as the fiscal or the financial condition report

and essentially it is These really four or five areas that the distressed unit appeals board. That's what do AB stands for has determined that these are some of the items that determines the condition of a school corporation's financial situation and so one of the things that is important to know that the information we'll be sharing this evening is based on the what i'd call certified numbers and so those from the form 9 or annual financial report that the do-ab indicators they pull from so what that means is this is not a representation of where we currently are but essentially as of year end of calendar year 2024. so we really are presenting this a year after that a certified but again that is what is required by us because we are still finalizing the books

for 2025 we I do have some of the cash balances but ultimately until that becomes certified through the Department of Education or through the Department of Local Government and Finance you will not see that information again for 2025 until next January so just that that annual reminder this is not where we currently are but where we were as end of year in 2024. And so one of the items again enrollment growth ADM the reason why this is important for us to discuss because enrollment does equal dollars especially for our education fund as you can see here really this is since 2015-16 school year we were just north of 8,100 students and you can see that trend line continues to grow very strong you can see that we used to have just dark purple color Columns

there that is when we only had one Count day now we have two so that's where the additional light purple color lines are are coming into place So you'll see a fall count and a spring count and for the most part we usually continue to grow from fall to spring There's a couple anomalies there where we have dipped down But I have also included the 2526 fall official enrollment, which is ten thousand three hundred and seventy four and again from last year in the fall count 10 251 that is a growth of about 123 students so again as we remind ourselves from the demographic setting such we are growing as a district the majority of that growth is at our secondary level we did not grow we're not growing as rapidly at the elementary k-5

level Next is our fund balances. Again, this is from 2021, 22, 23, and 24 on that graph, just so you have some historical. But the 2024 is really the new updated version for this particular PowerPoint. And again, it includes the fund balances from our education fund, the operations fund, and our rainy day. So the 2024 balance overall, which you can see there at the top. Pointer out is the fourteen point one million dollars when we add all those up so now It's important to know that while this is a snapshot in time. There is often a story that explains some things So this number is a bit inflated and here's why so that number right there in the education fund just north of five million dollars When we think about legislation that took place in

0282024, one of the things that changed is the Curricular Materials Fund. The Curricular Materials Fund used to be a separate fund that was not inside the Education Fund, not inside the Operations Fund, but its own separate fund. And we think back to even a few years ago that we would receive charged book rental or curriculum material fee, and that money would go into that fund, and then we would send payments off to the textbook companies and things when those came in. Legislation abolished that particular fund and now that money is included in the revenue we receive per student in the education fund. But at the end of 2024, we had to take the money that was in the Curricular Materials Fund and shift it into the Education Fund. And so while that money was still

going to be spent on Curricular Materials, it does impact... the inflate that education fund balance. So that's one of the things to keep in mind is the education fund in 2024 at the end was a little higher than what our normal cash balance would have been with normal expenditures. But we shifted that money from curriculum materials into the education fund. So again, you can see the running balance here whenever we've had maybe major purchases. The Anderson property, which is where Crossroads is currently at back in 2016. We had additional property for Crossroads Elementary here as well, usually out of the rainy day fund. We had some upfront construction costs going on here in 22 with the high school renovation. And so, but you can see here our cash balances. And why do I have that

highlighted in yellow? Because again, If you look at those cash balance through year over year, it looks like a pretty healthy financial situation, and we certainly were. Really, the end of 2024, or 24 into 25, is really when the legislation began to hit us with what we've been discussing here in our board meetings. And so when we look at our cash balances for those three funds for 2025 currently, that number, again, that's uncertified, just our own books. But we've gone from 2024 at $14.1 million in cash balance to $7.8 million in those same three funds. Education, operations, and rainy day right now is a cash balance in our end of year 2025 at $7.8 million. Our annual deficit surplus again this plays a little bit of a picture here with that and we think about

the annual revenue versus expenditures You will notice here that the revenue outshines the expenditures and the education fund that again is related to the curriculum materials shifting that money from The curriculum materials fund in the education fund which counted as revenue and so that's the reason you will see that surplus But in the operations fund, again, we began to see that decline or dip in deficit financing in the operations fund due to the removal of the protected taxes waiver. So our revenue was just short of our expenditures in the operations fund in 24 and will continue to be in 25 and 26 as we've presented. We look at fund balances as a percent of expenditures. Again, I would say this is a little bit inflated based on the same information, but board policy would like

to say somewhere between that 12 and 16 percent range of our percent of fund balances as our percent of expenditures. Again, 24, we are just over 12 percent, so fell within that range. but again i would argue that we were just underneath that based on the curriculum materials fund 2025 we will not meet that goal for the percent of our fund balances as a percent of expenditures again based on the change in legislation And last but not least here on the do have indicators as revenue by type. Again, this essentially shares all of our different revenue sources. We have federal income coming in. We have state property tax and other local income. So while it might be difficult to see, there is a very, very thin blue line there that represents the federal. Again, that

comes mostly in the form of grants, oftentimes mostly tied to the special education program. The largest portion of our revenue comes from the state. Again, going back to we see that line increasing, and that is directly tied back to our enrollment increasing and the state foundation increasing every so much. And so the reason that that's getting more is because we have more students. We also have in our property tax dollars. This would represent both operations and debt service that is combined as local property tax dollars into the same little gray area. And then the local sources that would be facility rentals. There might be other local income tax and such that we receive that goes into that. Not a major source of funding, but that is where our revenue comes from. And that is our

do have indicators. That's our financial report on condition. condition on our finances. So happy to answer any questions that you might have on any of those slides. Okay, I will move on to the investments, which again is another Indiana code item that we do here in January and our investment report is listed. You can see our historical trends since 2017. The top portion of this is essentially what I would call our operating accounts. So that is the education operations in Rainy Day. So the same fund balances that we just discussed, that is represented there at the top. So when we generate interest in these funds up top, that essentially is what I would call additional miscellaneous revenue. That would be part of the black line there in the previous graph. And so that's really more

of our checking account, if you want to call that, or our savings account combined. So in 2025, about $678,000 in interest earned. Those dollars can be deposited back in the Education Operations Fund for our normal expenses. So we can use those dollars on things like staff salaries and things. It's not tied to have to go to anything specific. It does count as miscellaneous revenue. Why did we earn less money in 2025 than 2024? Well, it has to do with some of our cash balances. If the cash balances aren't as high, we are not generating as much income, as well as just the Federal Reserve interest rate has also dropped this year, and so we are not receiving as high of a rate. But I promise you that our checking account through First Merchants is an

outstanding rate and certainly one that when we have shopped that around. No one can compete. We are receiving the Fed rate on all of our accounts, as well as an additional five basis points in our savings account. Anything here below would be from our construction funds. So we generated an additional $837,000. So when we generate additional funds right there in construction, again, that came to use back in the project. So a good example of that is the completion of the high school project. We didn't want to add any custodial staff. So what we do is we took a look at some of the equipment that we had in our... in our new spaces and maybe we could update that, a bigger scrubber, some autonomous machinery that would help save a person. And so when we

have additional funds that come in like this from interest dollars, that allows us to maybe make those purchases on equipment like that, that we didn't have in the original budget of the project, but we can spend that. And those are the little things that we've done with that dollar, sometimes equipment or things that have popped up as we've lived in those spaces. All in all, about a little over $1.5 million in interest earned between construction dollars and our operating accounts. And again, I can promise you that the business office and Mr. Ebert are working their tail off to ensure that we are maximizing our interest earnings in any capacity. When we close on a bond, we ensure that we work with our financing advisors as well to ensure that we look at the draw schedule.

If we only need a couple million dollars coming out in February. We want to make sure we maximize the proceeds that are in the account. And so we take advantage of every opportunity we can when it comes to investing. So, again, happy to answer any questions on the interest. Questions? I think that we missed election of officers. Should we go back up? Oh, yeah, we did. We did do that. I got just real excited about going into my presentation here. And so election of officers typically for president and secretary of the Board of Finance has remained consistent as the board president of the board. We have not had to have a separate meeting, but that has been the past practice. And so that's the information I usually provide and then let you all determine what

you want to do with that information. Do we have a nomination? Are you going to make a motion? Okay. Present. Can we get a second? All those in favor? Aye. Aye. All those opposed? Thank you. Excuse me. I did. I'm sorry. Scratch your voice. Mr. Hacker, do we need to move into number four? Number four. Yep. recommendation to approve resolution authorizing the investment of public funds for certificate of deposit of deposit mr. hacker thank you very much so the last thing of our board of finance meeting this evening is to ask your recommendation again we have not implemented the certificate of deposits recently because it has not been to our benefit but we always want to make sure we have the flexibility to do so so the interest earnings that we've received in our checking

account and savings account has outweighed our bill the need to do the CDs as well as since our cash balances are lower than what they have we need the the liquidity that our savings account provides which is we're getting that higher interest rate but with no penalty on transfers into our normal checking account and so however we if something changes or rates dip and certain cds become the way for us to generate the most amount of interest through our investments we want to have the flexibility to do so and we need your approval of ability to do that each and every year and asking for that recommendation at this time Second. All those in favor? Aye. All those opposed? Motion passes. At this time, we will adjourn the Board of Finance meeting and reconvene the

regular meeting of the Board of School Trustees. Consent items, Dr. Jessup. Thank you. At this time, I ask for approval of the minutes of the December 8th business meeting, approval of claims, and the superintendent report. Second. All those in favor? Aye. All those opposed? Motion passes. Superintendent's report, please. Dr. Jessup. No, keep moving down. Got it. Sorry. Nope, that's okay. Let's see. Old business, we have none. New business. Recommendation to approve authorization to issue written preliminary notices for teachers subject to contract non-renewal due to reduction in force. Dr. Jessup. thank you as we've discussed throughout throughout the last several board meetings as we talk about financial situations currently in the district this request gives me the authority to issue RIF notices should we determine that we need to reduce the amount of teachers that we

have within Brownsburg If we think about to give you some history on this when we think about the 24 25 school year we had 631 teachers This school year we have 631 teachers. So we have the same amount of teachers that we had as last year However, we hired 70 teachers over the spring and summer last year We have a awful lot of teachers who for one reason or another mostly because we're a very young staff who stay home with children who relocate with a significant other last year we had a handful of people who left education in all so this gives me the authority to riff should we need to i believe any cuts that we're going to need to make we're going to be able to make through attrition but this is the

authority that i need in line with indiana code to be able to riff in the event that we need to do so ask for approval at this time all those in favor Hi all those opposed motion passes Thank you recommendation to award construction contracts. Mr. Hacker. Yeah included in the board packet You will see the bids received for HVAC central plant replacement at Cardinal, Delaware trail We accepted bids and like Thursday December 18th if I remember off the top of my head and so those bids come in Pretty well, and we're able to not only accept the base bid but also one alternate as we look to Really do it in complete overhaul at Cardinal Bell or trail And again, that's a little more expensive than typical because it's really two elementary schools, one building.

And so the size and scope of that project a little bigger than, say, at Whitelick or Eagle. And so, but again, this continues to churn through our maintenance plan of being able to replace those central back or central plant HVAC rooms, which, again, actually help us tremendously what we've seen within our utility usage and costs. And so very, very thankful for that. At this time, asking for your recommendation to award those contracts as recommended in the board packet. So moved. Second. All those in favor? Aye. All those opposed? Motion passes. Now, superintendent comments. Thank you. I'd like to start with an easy one. Thank you, Mrs. Gordon, for taking minutes for us. We appreciate that. Mr. Hacker talked about the community engagement sessions. Currently we have 20 people who are signed up. We're going to

hope that that number increases because we certainly want as many people as are interested to attend. Thank you to our football team for coming tonight. That was a lovely turnout. Super excited to see our kids. If you did not have a chance to watch the Rose Parade, It was very exciting. Our band represented us so well, and what a not fantastic day of weather for our poor kids and the families that went out to support them. I recorded on three different channels and watched all three different channels and I probably should have done more because it was on a lot but we got some serious air time and I think it had to do with just how great our kids looked and how well they performed so kudos to them. Last week we welcomed back

students for the second semester and we are underway and just moving forward with the rest of the school year so excited that we're back in the swing of things. I know that I do much better on a schedule. And so I'm glad to be back. Great. Board member comments. Mr. Hayward. Yeah, so I want to congratulate the football team again for the back-to-back state championship, and I expect more clanging next year. Maybe we can go back-to-back-to-back, the 3P. Thank you, Mr. Hacker, for all your reports on the operations and finance. You always do a great job, and I really appreciate it. And congratulations to Dr. Dixon for becoming our new president. And I know you'll do a great job. Thanks. Mr. Wilson. Congrats to the football team. I gotta say all my media friends who

cover high school sports, they're trying to bait me to say things on social media to say there'll be a three-peat. But as I told Coach Hart a couple weeks ago at a basketball game, I refuse to say anything. But it would be nice to have a three-peat though. Definitely congrats to our band for the Rose Parade. Many of my IU Media School students. saw the band and said it was a great time for Brownsburg because I do promote Brownsburg down in Bloomington quite a bit. So congrats to that. Congrats to our new elected officers, Dr. Dixon, Mr. Hayward for being secretary, and Ms. Hefferman for doing a great job as president and now taking over as vice president. Mr. Friese, Dr. Friese, excuse me. That's all right. Okay. As always, I echo everything that's come

down before me. The main highlights, I mean, I really recommend people to attend those community meetings. I mean, the more information that is spread, the better about that. So please get out there and attend those. And, again, congratulations to our new lineup, and I wish you success in your new roles. I also want to echo congratulations to the football team. This is always one of the best meetings when they all show up and are so excited to be here. I had an opportunity to attend wrestling team state this weekend and heard a lot of positive comments about the field house and saw quite a bit on social media and what a heartbreaker that was. The boys did so well. And I look forward to having an opportunity to serve in this role. Thank you so

much. Can we have a motion to adjourn? So moved. All those in favor? Aye. All those opposed? And meeting's adjourned.
