001Hello, this is Chris Whitley with Hannover County Public Schools with an important and heavy message. Well, it's colder than 1.21 gigawatts. The flux capacitor is frozen and we do not expect conditions to improve. So, time travel and any other form of travel is not advised. In addition to hazardous travel conditions, a cold weather advisory from the National Weather Service goes into effect at 900 PM tonight until Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. with temperatures forecasted to be well below freezing, preventing melting on roadways. As a result, Hanver County Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, January 27th. It will be a remote learning day. Employees use code six, meaning at the earliest possible time only designated personnel report to work. All other employees work remotely as able. Please also note that any designated employees who may be
002needed will be contacted directly by their supervisor. Again, Hanover County Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, January 27th. It will be a remote learning day. Employees use code six. For the remote learning day, all families will receive a parent square message from your students teacher that will include information about accessing assignments and how to contact the teacher if your child needs assistance. We encourage you to read the full message in Parent Square or on our website at hcps. us for more information. We understand this is disruptive and sincerely appreciate your patience as we work to make the best possible decisions for our students and staff. We hope that sharing this information well in advance is helpful to you as you begin to make the necessary arrangements. In the meantime, we hope you stay safe
003and warm. Be sure to take good care of each other. Watch out for Principal Strickland. And whatever you do, don't be a Biff.
