001Hello, this is Chris Whitley with Hanver County Public Schools with an important message. Well folks, we'll just call this the infamous Ashlin Raccoon's revenge. After breaking into the ABC store and breaking the internet, it looks like Air Renegade Raccoon is taking a pause from learning his ABCs to disrupt their school day. His mind is always in the gutter and he's talking trash about the weather tomorrow. The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Hanver County from 6:00 a.m. to 6 pm tomorrow with snow expected across our county throughout the day, impacting both the morning and afternoon commutes. In addition, below freezing temperatures are forecasted, allowing snow to accumulate. This is expected to create hazardous travel conditions for our buses, student drivers, staff, and families. As a result, Hanover County Public Schools will be closed on Monday, December 8th. Employees use code 6, meaning that at the earliest possible time, only designated personnel report to work. All other employees work remotely as able. Again, Hanver County Public Schools will be closed on Monday, December 8th. Employees use code six. We understand this is disruptive and sincerely appreciate your patience as we work to make the best possible decisions for our students and staff. We hope that sharing this information well in advance is helpful to you as you begin to make the necessary arrangements. In the meantime, we hope that you stay safe and warm. We also hope that you have a possome day that is free of dumpster diving. And we look forward to seeing our students and staff once things have [clears throat] dried out. [music]
