001we introduced our kindergarten students to Buster the bus the purpose of that was to teach them about bus safety and I think Buster is good for kindergarteners because they can relate to him he drives around he blinks his eyes and gets kids really excited but also interested in hearing what we have to say I think they will remember some of the things that we said about how far to walk away from the bus not to open the safety the emergency doors to always look with with their eyes listen with their ears and use their neck muscles because we practiced that a few times with our audience to cross in front of SCH never behind remember boys and girls in the danger zone probably 85% of our kids ride the bus maybe even more our students are very well behaved and they know the rules because they've been taught since the minute they get to kindergarten I think it's a great program I think we need to have Buster out as much as possible to orient our kindergarteners and to remind them and just as a way to show off school safety and that it's important to bunam County I just enjoyed watching the kids' reactions because lots of laughter and they're really getting excited and very interested and engaged in the program we'll absolutely do this again and I'm going to go ahead and schedule it for the fall whenever our kindergarteners arrive so they our new students can meet buster thank for let me come today
