001I call this rise for the pledge of allegiance. >> I aliance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all. >> As part of our opening, I'll read the district mission statement. In partnership with the communities, the mission of the build school district is to educate individuals in an environment of trust and respect so they become self-directed responsible life call and various guests as well as all All right. Agenda. Do we have any changes? >> No changes to the agenda. We have a motion to adopt the agenda as present. Motion by. Any questions or discussion? Hearing none. All those in favor say I. >> I. On number five, public comments and rebel recognition. Public comments. Rebel

002recognition. Yeah, I have a couple things. Um, one, I don't know if you guys have met Micah Thein, but he sang the national anthem with the group at the wrestling match last week. Uh, I do have a recording, so if anybody wants to see it, it's outstanding. So, thank you for that. That was very, very well done. >> So, much appreciated. Uh, I did have another one, too. Um, Ricky John shared with me today, yesterday actually. I should said I want to give a shout out to our ELEL teacher An Griffin. She has been so and so is in capital letters supportive to all of our EL students and their families. This weekend she hosted the family event at the elementary. She collaborated with local businesses and colleges to provide a fun event where families

003could come and eat, play games together, and build a community. Each family left with a deck of cards, a puzzle, and a game to play at home along with box of food donated by the seeds of home. Thank you, Hannah. We appreciate you. Kudos to Hannah for that event. Great. Any other recommend All right, we'll go over the uh summary sheet first. Um so looking at January, um couple things to touch on. We can go down to the summary right away and you can see that there was a pretty large deficit for January. Um, a lot of that has to do with we pay our 2019, 2020, and 2022 bonds. Um, in August we do or we actually have to pay them in July. They're due August 1. We pay the interest, but in February

0041 then, so we have to pay them in January. They are the principal and interest. So that payment is made for this year. So now we are fully paid up on all our bonds for this year because the 2010 ones are gone and now we we actually did a refinancing with the 2022 2020. So next year we're going to have the 2019 2020 2022 and 2025 loan. They are all August plans in February. So obviously February so we'll see the same year from now on. So um so because of that there was more expenses and revenues for the month. Um, as far as payroll, it's pretty consistent, but it is a little lower than usual because the um non-certified in December, so half of their paycheck is from December time and obviously Christmas vacation, there's

005a little less uh hours there. So, but and then um for fun six, we did see receive uh some insurance money there. So, you'll see that there was a little bit of insurance money It was turned around and the check was written to a contractor. So, but that check was written a while ago. That's why that's there any questions on this really cash flow or anything like that? >> No, we uh everything leads up to this point. So, we're getting fund seven cash and everything. And you can see at the bottom as far as our cash balances between the general accounts and the left accounts, we're still sitting over 3 million. So, that's kind of where it usually will trend maybe a little lower depending on, you know, a couple months between two and a

006half to three million and then build up and get ready for us to uh pay. Um, now we can go over the uh the budget the actual as far as this. I mean, so now we do have the final budget numbers in here. Before we like last month, we were showing everything from the preliminary budget. So now the final budget numbers are in here and you know based on what we had put in, we're sitting pretty similar to what we kind of expected. We got about a percent play with here and that kind of just will fluctuate depending on if anything big comes up for the next several months. But um there really wasn't anything unusual that would hit the general fun there. And you can see down below like when you're looking at the

007other funds like whether it's food service, community service that service now didn't show 100% for the man that we expected. And then everything with with revenues. I mean, it shows that it's a little behind as far as percentage based on our amounts versus what we've spent, but a lot of that has to do with the timing at the end of the year. Um, when you start out January, you have a lot of reversals of entries. So, the revenue really is more in line than what it shows there. Any questions on that? >> One thing I always like to when you look at this forum or the sheet the budget actual is that if you look at last year, you look at this year, we've spent $60,000 more this year to date. So that's that's good.

008considering the surface. So in order to keep our funs where we need to be, it's important that that's a real number. So just wanted to point that out. And then as far as the construction budget, there's nothing there was no expenses in that. So it was just a revenue matched in there. So you can see the caps and you guys remember too. So, one of the things Marcus talked about too was the insurance check. Remember that was for the June 4 and I think I shared that with you guys on the weekly update of what that cost was and so there was a little bit we added up to $7,800 extra which is to help cut over our weekly fees. But everything covered everything's finished finally delay but it's done. So that's good and that's

009it. >> Thank you. >> All right, we'll go on to 6.2. This is the DGF school. >> Somebody is absent today because they had an appointment and so Mr. O'Keefe is going to step in is going to be both middle school. Yeah. So, Ken typed up a couple things. So, I'll go through this. Some of them overlap with the high school and some in the gallery can disagree if I say this wrong, but so according to Kent, um, seventh grade compassion treat will be held on the 12th of February and we also got another compassion treat and working with fourth grade on the 26. And that's something that the NHS puts on. doing that fifth grade wax museum on the 17th and the 20th. >> Yep. >> So, the wax museum. So, kids pick a

010figure from history and dress up and it's actually pretty neat. They do it right in the common area. So, >> that was an actual wax museum. >> It is. We're not that fancy yet. And then high school, middle school, our conferences 17th and 19th. Middle school will be studentled high schools open. Uh let's see. Students who need extra support in reading and math, they're enrolled in the student success program in the middle school. Um they they take this class instead of the band required option um or one of the elective classes with parent approval and they can receive interventions in reading, math or both during this time. and they identify them through the standardized. Uh they have had some students in the middle school repeat the core classes that they didn't. So some of them

011were doubled up this year. If they did something in seventh grade, they would take that. We've got a freshman um every now and again that has to take an eighth grade test that class um as a requirement, but that has is running its course and and hasn't been that big of a headache. Student planners, I can't speak. Um, Mr. Henderson says they're going well and they're utilized for the most part. I think they're utilized better than they are in high school. Um, which we figured was going to be the case. So, they would like to continue that. And student councils, we try to meet with them often. The student council with Mr. Hendendrickson has gone very well. They share their likes, dislikes. The number one thing they would like is more options at lunch and

012the vending machine is too expensive. >> So that's what we get. >> Now this one doubles up for both. Um he's just got written here and I would agree. You know, we don't have Kent and I don't have an assistant principal this year and we've been okay. We cross paths quite a bit. He was gone today. So, we have no issues running back and forth at the each other's side of the office. Um, but that hasn't come. We've had a lot of people step up. Our counselors have stepped up, our admin assistants, and our so everyone's taken on more to make it work and we feel we're doing okay. Some can disagree, but for the most part. And then the counselors, we've changed it up. We've got a maternity leave in the middle school. So

013now that makeup of our counselors is a 59 and a 1012 instead of a 57 810 112. So there's there's a lot high school side. Uh I don't want to harp on PSO but not a huge fan of PSO. It costs us money. Um so we're trying to get a lot more options in the high school. Interesting. talking with a few other principles, there's a current proposal that if you taught three years uh teaching college in the classroom that you would get a legacy exemption. It hasn't been approved yet, but if that were the case, then that would actually free up three of our staff members to continue to do that rather than them losing their certification. So, I think that was proposed to January 5th, if I remember right. So, we're waiting to see

014the timing of all that um and how that turns out for us. We can get more into that if you have questions. Uh a couple dates to throw at you. We're going to do our PCN survey February 18th. That's where we get our signs of um the amount of vapors and and such. We're going to go an hour late. So, school's still going to be at 8:00. We're going to bring everyone into the high school, split them up, but we're going to start period one at 9:00. So everyone's there at 8 into their home room or whatnot and then we'll actually start period 1 9. So that should give them enough time to figure to get it done. Peace of mind February 23 that goes all week. That's another PCN from Jason McCoy. I'm going

015to be very honest with you all. That was something that Kent and I agreed with like in July and then now it's the time where what the heck is this? So, it's going to be a positive thing. There'll be very we're trying to keep it very minimal to no disruptions other than opening day on that Monday, we might do a one hour late so he can address the student body. It's supposed to be 6 through 12. I don't know if we'll be able to add fit for that kind of what he's doing. He takes different snapshots and puts together kind of a here's what we did over the weekend and um displays and then they'll end it with a community event in our theater Friday night. It's I don't know how well attended it'll be

016but it's something that they're since all no cost to us it's something that they're doing so thought we'd give it a whirl and see how it goes. high school. We're going to open up our registration um on the 26th for 10 through 12 for 10 through 10th and 11th and actually 9 10 11 and then the eighth graders I think the 27th is when they'll be there registration that will give us a better idea of what our course offerings and things like that. Um staff has come forward if there's anything else they wanted to teach or try. So we'll put them together and then the ones that obviously we have two or three then we look to revamp and then we offer something else 26 February tentative but we should be close uh training tobacco

017treatment specialists another grant through the PCN our three counselors will be certified and this is via the Mayo clinic. So if we do have students that have um needs help to quit, we would have our our counselors would be trained to help them get the help they need. And lastly, uh the new policy for our attendance, how's that going? We sent out 22 five-day letters um regarding the new attendance policy, which is um our heavy hitters, which is good. So, like I said, it doesn't do anything until day 15, but we wanted to make sure that there's a five, there's a 10, there's a 15, as we said. So, there's 22 that went up for the five. And then I am hoping to increase the required credits to graduate from UGF. We're at 24. It

018was bumped down. Uh I would like to see this year's 10th graders have to have 25 and then this year's ninth graders have to have 26. We are running into issues that some seniors only need one English credit to graduate their senior year. So then I'm going to jump out and I'm going to take PSO. I'm going to blow off PSO, let DGF write a check to cover it and they still graduate and you can withdraw on time so it doesn't go on there. So that's another piece of we're not alone. So, the whole thing with the with the legacy exemption, there's a lot of schools outstate that when they said, "Nope, you can no longer teach this college class." It hit a lot of smaller districts pretty hard, which is why there's that push

019to get them granted in. And another good note for DGF, MSU, rumor has it expanded the free tuition to Fargo, West Fargo, and they left DGF behind. So, we will be having some more conversations with them and let them know what we think of. I have some questions. >> Yes. >> Um so PSO is there an option um I believe some of the other schools that I've talked to um that if they uh fail that class or fail to attend or early withdrawal and DGF is stuck with that bill that then they're um having to reimburse at least a part of that. Is that something that you're willing to um look into? What kind of help? We would >> we have and that's the whole point of >> a little bit of accountability there. >>

020Well, and that's what at the latest and greatest law conference. That's the sticking point is there's no teeth in it for us. So, you can go and you can take five, you know, good for you. Blow them all off. So, you just have to show up for your one class at 8:00 and you've got the rest of the day off. We brought that up and there's we're trying to get that passed where we can come back. But right now, as of October with with Roger, there was no course. >> Yep. The only thing we can do is we can keep it on their transcript and a lot of them are I don't care. I'm going to graduate and I've already got my scholarship and I'm accepted. So, that's the we're trying because it's not fair.

021Then we're the other thing we're looking at is is making all seniors required that they have to have at least six courses or trying they have to take six courses or be signed up. So there's some things that we can do to make it not as convenient. But everything that I've heard so far is that's the hence why I want more kind of so we can >> because if we're teaching the college class it's concurrent so if they drop out of the college we can still keep them in the high school portion and they would get that so it's going to show it's going to hurt the GPA PSO we don't even get to see what their grades are so we have to reach out we don't get them so we have to tell the

022kids well for eligibility or whatever you need to show us your grades right Now, well, if they're not in anything, you know, luckily, if somebody pulls it off and they do 14 day, 15 day drops at the college, we've been given a heads up by their advisor at Mate, hey, you might want to look at this. We haven't seen this student in three weeks and that's how we know and it's like, what the heck? The other the other part is adjusting when we're going to allow them to drop or not. So, we can, you know, it's a week. The problem is that's before school starts. You know, if you if you're going to take these, they start before we start. And so we said, "Hey, they might have to drop that class before school starts."

023So we don't get >> Well, they haven't hardly done anything. So there's some conversation about that, too. >> Yeah. And when we when it comes to PSO, PSO, we are completely hands off. So if you're going PS, I will not tell you when the deadline is. I will not lift a finger for you because that's on your own to get all that set up. ECHS um through MState and then what we offer at the high school. Yeah, it's here's the the deadline. So if PSO the deadline comes and goes, yeah, sorry you didn't do it. Now you're signing up us. But when we work with Mate, I always kind of choose the option of charge us per credit. Don't charge us because you could say, "All right, Nicole's with us 75% of the time. take

02475% of the a lotment from the state where you got to look at well what's the better bang for the buck. A lot of times the per credit is cheaper. So it's like all right just charge us the six credits and then we're going to still so we're not losing we're still getting a chunk but we're getting a fraction of it. So it's not ideal. So hence, if this the legacy exemption went through, that would help us keep more and more kids in our school. And yeah, and it cost us about two grand a class. So um if Laura is teaching a class, it's 2,000 bucks, but she could have 60 kids in that class, three sections of it, and it only cost us two grand. If you've got 60 kids taking it online or

025doing whatever, we're going to have 30 grand. So >> sure, >> it's a we're in the people business, but sometimes it's a numbers game and it's not always fun. So hopefully with the outpouring of the the outstate schools, we can get a handle on it. At least have some if you're going to blow this up, you got to pay it back. But unless something's changed, I know schools some schools have it in their policy if you choose to do this. Um, but Roger was saying you if they ever did take you to court on something like that, you would you'd lose, but if they don't take you, then you get someone like that. So it's kind of roll the dice. And then the last thing I know is brought up. So the vaping thing, we've

026got we got some kids that vape. We got a lot of kids that lie. So if there's any questions, it's depending if you want to embarrass them or not or it's just a it's just a >> vibration. >> Yeah. Or so if we get we hear something or all right, there's always smells coming in. A lot of times kids coming from the outside beginning of the day, they'll walk through and go to their class at 10 minutes to 8 or whatever and the hallways, you know, don't smell very good. You check the student and they're clean. Well, they were either hot boxing in the car on the way here or sadly it's coming from their parents at home. Um, we do have that. The other ones, it's it's not I wouldn't say that it's gone

027up or gone worse. I would say of our we got a handful of the same offenders that we it's the same ones. I haven't seen a whole lot of new students come across and but when they do it's like they know the routine. You pull them out of class. You don't want to do it in front of everyone, whatever. And it's like arms out and nope, I don't have anything on me. Good. This one shows. Yep. What's that? Oh, I guess I forgot. Yep. And then we do restorative justice for the first offense. We have a guy that comes in and then now if our counselors get trained, they can also deal with it. And then the second offense, they went away from writing tickets on the first offense. And then second and stuff, then

028we can bring it to the county and whatnot. They can issue a ticket. But they're they're not sending them away. They're not it's we're not suspending anymore. We're taking what they've got. And then now they're really on the radar. And I've got kids that they know the routine. It's like, I'm not going to target you, but I busted you twice, so yeah, don't bring it here. >> Um, Kent will grab the wand every now and again. Um, our SRO is pretty much hands off. So when it comes to searches in the school, I handle that and those >> rules. >> Correct. Yep. look in the locker. I can't, but I can. And it's weird and that's but Val can obviously do different things than I can do. So that's why it's a partnership. So it's

029not a perfect system. Um, bait detectors have been hit or missed. Uh, depends who you ask. I know Morehead had them. Talking with their principal, they went away from it. You do get some false readings. You get some accurate ones. And it's just a Um, you know, could probably move your desk into the bathroom then. I could I could have a desk in there, but we know we're small enough where we know the ones. And hate to say it, but we know the ones. So, we go in constantly checked and once a month, the local PD will come and clear out my grower. So, >> the the PCN grant um you mentioned the vaping and things, but is that still um uh targeting information on whether or not they feel connected to their family, to

030their parents, to the um teachers, to the community, all those kinds of things. >> Great question. I know this was the final year of the five-year grant. Jason re-uped it and now six through 10 I want to say is a community focus now. >> So I Yeah, >> but it it goes outside of just like connectivity and um community engagement and making sure that we as a community are supporting our students and they're feeling >> um embraced by that so that they feel supported on multiple levels. Right. 100 questions in there. Yeah, it's not big. It's obviously they get the they get the information of the I can't whatever kind of choice is a problem with destructive choices or whatever. But yeah, it it spans that. I don't know what it's going to look like

031next year with the community if he moves out of the school or if there's still that. I'm assuming there's still a tie in, but it's a different focus. But >> and one more. >> Okay. So conferences um at the high school level they're typically not well attended. So what is the accountability for the teachers at the high school level for that time? Are they reaching out to parents um proactively for students that they feel are at risk or having challenges? Is it a work time for them? What is the expectation uh at that point? >> Yep. They are supposed to. So at the high school what we did is at our last workshop day we did grade level meetings and it was everybody took what was the word we used everyone took a buddy or

032whatnot. So all right so the challenge was to our high school staff okay Nicole there's just something she's not doing well or this that you are going to try to make a connection without announcing that I'm going to make a connection. So it was whoever you have for teachers and that could have been assigned to all right Mike is that teacher. Okay. So, not be supposed to work. That was a month. We haven't seen those results yet, but yes, whenever there's open house, they aren't attended very well. Um, so before we do that, hey, anyone that you want to see, reach out. It it's it is it's here at the high school. So, >> do you think what I mean? Um, just from a parent perspective, you know, I don't hear from the high school

033almost ever. I've had to reach out to them u which is fine. Um but I do think it would be beneficial. I've received more contact from the elementary and middle school teachers if my student is even doing something well. Um, and I remember uh last year I received an email from a teacher and I was like, "High school teacher, what's happening?" And it was a positive feedback form and I thought that was really beneficial and that was something um that I've heard from multiple parents um out in the community that was very um positive and I just think that that would be something that would be very um good to do too to hear some of those uplifting moments not just getting a call from the school. I have reached out to see if there's

034any professional development for our staff to actually read a room, use some tac and then reach out and try to encourage. We have work to do yet still. So, it's a work in progress and there's been conversations on that and there will continue to be convers uh you talk about the attend the attendance policy and stuff. is every I've been people have addressed me this weekend or whatever questioning about we didn't know that that was even in fact or was there you go that's what I'm looking for uh now I understand it's in the student handbook because I had to look it up I looked it up or whatever so I know it's in there or whatever but did we communicate that to anybody else students or parents >> parents okay >> we we made

035sure that yeah I think there was a couple different emails, a couple different and then several announcements, several emails to the kids and I get it. They don't always as they don't so we make sure that we sent it home too. >> Plus, we did it at the board meeting. I know everybody watches the board. >> It's musty TV. So, anyway, >> I'm going to go get a damn concert. >> So, yeah, I've been looking forward to it all here. So, I got to get going. I will not be this year. Thank goodness. >> Can I Okay. My two thoughts, my two cents on the calendar since I won't be here when we vote. Um I think it makes more sense to do the e-learning before we do the the makeups in June. Like I

036just I think that's a good idea too to be more flexible. But I would my preference would be to reverse this. >> So if you learn first then read >> that would be >> I've heard a little bit of feedback not a ton but a few people would prefer that as well. Um because if kids are not having to make them up anyways at least. I mean, we know learning is not no one's learning anything new, especially the little kids, but middle school and high school could still have contact with our teachers and some sort of a practice and that way it would keep the schedule the same if we didn't have to go more than days. I have to share before >> I would be enabled on the calendar today. Um although walking up

037our kids deserve those three days in the classroom I would love to see the three days made up. Right. Okay. We'll go on to 64 Lake this year just because they were wait and see board members may or may not be on that with the schools. So a lot of it's just kind of a lot of the same things we first meet within there. So not a lot of good stuff in that regards. The big highlight was Mark Ericson school psychologist. He is going to be the Minnesota school psychologist of the year. So that was that was nice on that. touch base a little bit on some lever training with those that were coming from outside various schools that wanted to do some more but otherwise everything else is kind of status quo simple yeah

038and I'm no longer the superintendent rep that was last year so I'm really bummed out that I can't join again for another year but I think it was Dustin was it Dustin from >> yes >> yeah he's the new he'll be there this year so If Mike is not here, I can't give you an update like I've done in the past because I won't be there anymore. >> Any questions for >> all going to uh report on intergovernment retreat? >> And this will have to be me. As you guys know, I had a funeral that day. Um so I did not attend Brooke and Tracy um took care of Well, Brooke was there all day helping with all the presentations that we had put together. We test drove everything on Thursday afternoon. I went over

039there with them. Um I think everything was good Thursday night except for we had one presentation that we had to get they had to get figured out Friday but the person was there shared it with it. Uh Tracy went off introducing herself as not me which was nice and I guess that was good. Um and then Bren took over for the afternoon because Tracy had to come back. So Bren said it was very smooth to do it. So just appreciate them again stepping up and helping out. Uh it was a lot of planning, it was a lot of work. Um but our turn is done for the next five years which is also nice. Um so again, thanks to Brooke, thanks to Tracy and Brandon stepped in in my office and they went up. >>

040Was anybody here there? Okay. >> Any questions for Shane? All right. We'll go to 6.5 superintendent. >> Okay. Yeah. So, March 13th and 16th, uh the staff will be here now on those days and the principles are working on what exactly that will look like, how much work they're going to have. It's a chance to meet with PBIS, a chance for grade levels, whatever. So, they're working on what those two days look like. Um, and also hopefully give those staff members time to just get work done in the room, which usually during the school year is never. So hopefully that helps. Um, so that's all I want to say there. B, I shared with you guys in the weekly update that we have a new lawyer at Larson King for JLG mediation, which is going

041to be April 7th. I think I share that with you guys as well. um uh the new lawyer. It's because John got an opportunity to be um the lead legal counsel for a group that he's worked with or a company's worked with for 20 years. They are going to make him a president of the company here shortly. So, he's going to bridge a gap for the younger generation of people that'll be taking over that company for a few years and then he's going to retire. So he just said I had to take this opportunity and I said it is what it is. So, but the people that do and I gave you the names in that story and uh are going to take over. They have a ton of experience doing this very same and

042it was a lot of them. So, he had a lot of confidence. So, I gave it to both of them and yeah, hoping for something April 7th. Uh you're able to attend with me which is nice. Hopefully, we can get some closure. >> Does it cost us more now that we're switching to two people versus >> No. No. He said it would just be the same. It's going to be that rate and because she's going to do some behind the scenes work. Uh Ashley, April 7th, she won't be there. She'll be in London uh with family. So yeah, she's just going to help assist in this transition and so the hours that she'll probably be working. But um yeah, just it was nice to know that it's shifting to somebody else that also has done

043work in this area. So that um Um actually something else came up here on the agenda. So that's my problem. Questions for me. All right. We'll go on to 7.1. This is a motion or to approve the regular meeting on January 6, 2026. I have a motion. Motion by second. Any questions or discussion? Hearing none. All those in favor say I. I. I. Oppos. Approve the resation of Amy Redmond intervention effective the end of the 2025 2026 school year and approve the resation of Harley and par professional effective February 20th 2026. Do I have a motion? Motion by a second by any questions

044or discussion? Uh we do need to do a shout out for Amy Redmond. She's been with the district for long time. um after her retirement, she stepped into this role and is she's just she's just um she's great with kids. She's she's great with me. She's just who she is and those people in the crowd that know her, she's one of a kind. Just super appreciate her. And she said it's time for me to go travel and spend time with family. So good for her. >> Well deserved. I would agree with that. So had a good conversation with her last week, too. She's ready and she's excited, but she's she's going to miss kids because she loves it too. Any other questions or discussion hearing? None. All those in favor say I. >> I. Motion

045carries. Uh number nine, 9.1. This is for the fiscal year 2027 school calendar to approve the second reading of fiscal year 2027 school. Do I have a motion? Motion by Michael. Do I have a second? Second by All right. Any questions or discussion? >> I feel like there's still some questions to be asked. I know we want to get this calendar out there, but given that Britney and Angela had um reservations, I think that there might be opportunity for us to continue discussion on what those extra days look like. I think it sounds like everybody's okay with the days themselves, but how the the gray box the store box um is related. I think maybe there needs to be a little bit more discussion. >> What is the impact to delaying the approval calendar? >>

046If we wanted to wait till the next board meeting, there virtually nothing. I think that discussion board and I think the appropriate thing then to someone to make a motion to u table the motion. >> I make a motion to table the motion wait until next for meeting. >> Nicole makes a motion to table the motion. Do we have a second Troy? Uh any questions or discussion on the motion hearing? None. All those in favor say I. I >> I opposed. Motion carries. The motion is table to um we'll set that up for the agenda for the next. >> Okay. And 9.2. This is to approve the donations as presented. And the donations have presented from the drive wall in the amount of $400 for girls and then from FM area foundation amount of $3,000

047for blinking stop signs for the village area. Uh do I have a motion to approve? >> Motion by Nicole. I have a second question or session. >> The blinking stop light is something we've been working on or trying to get for up here on fourth >> stoplight. >> Stop light stop blinking. Yeah. So, it's just yeah wonderful. We trying to figure out how can we get some funds for it and this uh Eric Wilkey from the FM area foundation was working with Britney and they got it figured out. They've been very effective around the um Morehead area. When I worked in Morhead and we started going to some of those, we saw um a marketable change in um people slowing even slow just slowing down in those areas versus uh speeding through. At least that

048was my observation on patrol is that people pay a little bit more attention and actually stop before the stop sign. um we have those crosswalks in that area and um oftentimes lots of people are guilty of stopping you know near their um side here is where they go well after you've already hit a kid or hit a hit a pedestrian potentially when you cross that boundary that far so that makes me very happy and I very much appreciate all the extra work that went into that everyone for donut um because this is a resolution Um we will do this by roll call unless there's any other questions or discussion. All right. >> Hi and I resolution. All right. Um on to 9.3. This is to approve the resolution directing administration to make recommendations for reductions

049programs and positions and reasons. A motion motion by a second. Any questions or discussion? Just so you know, this is an annual thing that we do every year on this February board. So, >> any other questions? Hearing none. All those in favor say I. >> I. Those motion carried. >> Never mind. We're going to do a roll call. So, we'll just back up a little bit. Okay. Nicole, >> Hi, David. Hi, Micah. Resolution passes. Thank you so much. >> Uh 10.1, next board meeting will be Monday, February 23rd, 2026 at 6 PM here in the Delorth Media Center. Uh 10.2, to the budget committee meeting will follow that school board meeting here in the same location same date. Uh number 11 this is to adjourn the regular meeting of Belton school board. Do I have
