And also um activity report of busing or What's the story? Uh especially when this is uh softball and it's in the middle of March. Well, I I didn't I didn't get the why it was even in there. It appears to be a expenditure. So, I understand boys varsity but I don't understand softball in the middle of March. I just don't know what it was about. >> Okay. >> We'll have to We'll have to get you some answers. >> Yeah, because it got approved in consent. You already approved it. He didn't pull it. >> Okay. There was no

um no ID on it, so I didn't know how to present it. You know, as far as a warrant or whatever. >> All right. Do you want to show me that after and then I can get you the answers for that? >> Whenever you'd like to. >> Certainly. >> Okay. But I think might be somebody else might be interested in that, you know, if they want to hang around. >> It is what it No, it's not in there. >> Is that executive session stuff? >> No. I think it might be just bus billing, right? >> That's part of it. >> Part of the BOCES bill. Part of the contract invoice with BOCES. >> This says invoice uh attachment itemized listing. That's all it says. >> So, on the when Bos he sends her Bos he's

billing Monto sends us her invoice, but then they'll have a bunch of these little spreadsheets they send with it. So, the entire thing was attached. >> I had no way of telling cuz every sheet was separate. So, I didn't know where it belonged. So, I apologize if I'm out of line. >> No, not at all. >> Not out of line, George. Glad you're here. >> Anything else, George? Or for new business? And that's it

for me tonight. >> It's a little premature on this, but thanks Pat and Tammy for your service to the board. It's a lot of work. And you guys have done a great job. So, thank you. >> I agree with they said. It's going to be a huge huge loss. >> Yeah. >> I'm good. >> Good here. >> I'm fine. >> FFA Wow. I mean, I read the uh No, I didn't read the report, but I know about it. Um really really amazing what they've done. How many kids are in that total in this in that program? 3 400? >> Uh of our kids? Yes. Yes, across the state almost three 3,000. >> Yeah. And maybe you can tell the public how they did. >> Uh so, I was there Friday and it was um something

I've never experienced before. I it absolutely phenomenally done. Our kids are >> Yeah. absolute leaders among all of these leaders. The performances are exceptional. The the quality and the level of uh professionalism that our high school kids demonstrated off the charts. And it came to light when um one of the the kids spoke. He did like a little keynote at the end. And I'm not sure what district he's from. He's one of the state he sits on the top um group. And he had a very emotional speech about his life and about who he is and and where he's at. And and he said in one of the best parts about what I do um and the people I've met is the Tri-Valley FFA. It's because they I've cried with them. I've laughed with them.

And the whole place was in tears. I mean, it was it was just I was goosebumps head to toe. It was so well done. But um Grace Deal had warned me they're the loudest cheers cuz I got this beautiful award. And they are. And it was just a spectacular showing of our school. Spectacular. I mean, I went through and went to as much as I could take in on Friday. And then uh getting updates all day long from Tara on Saturday. We won this. We won this. We won this. And gobs of pictures and just beaming with pride. Just in I I would love to have the kids come present to you. Just amazing. >> Can you expand on the honors that they did? First, second, third, fourth, fifth, 10th place? >> Those No, I

don't have it in front of me. But yes, they won the top chapter in the state of of all of the chapters that there are. And um just thousands of kids in blue corduroy jackets walking around. It was really incredible. Really incredible. >> I believe we're one of the largest chapters in New York. >> I would imagine. Well, so when what happens is because of the ag classes that we offer, our kids automatically qualify for it and Tara's really great about enrolling all of our kids, so we do end up with a large chapter, but just the leadership um that we see day-to-day with the kids, but that we really saw there um just nothing like it. Talk about setting them up for great things in life. Just really beautiful. >> And how many advisors

do we have at Tri-Valley that does that? >> We have two. >> Two. >> We had 22 kids at the conference on Friday. >> Tri-Valley accomplished. >> Mhm. >> And is everyone aware we're supposed to be having an honor at the fairgrounds on the 6th of June? Maybe you can expand on that. >> So, June 6th at 2:00 p.m. is going to be their annual dinner. Right there, instead of doing it at night, they're doing it on Saturday, June 6th. So, it will be they'll do all their awards and then have a big celebration. It's the 75th year of the Tri-Valley FFA, so. >> And they're going to try to honor or bring in all their previous advisors if they're still here alive. >> That's pretty cool. >> Yeah. >> There's banners outside the school.

I don't know if they're they're still up, but they're naming all of the American recipients, the Empire recipients, and I think Mr. Strangeway. >> He was our first one. >> He's the first one. I I think they're hoping to honor him that day as well. >> Yeah, yeah. But his son is coming. His son was here for a while as an advisor as well. >> So, yeah. Beautiful. >> You want to listen? Probably, but I won't take up your time. >> All right. Um congratulations, Kaylyn. Um and Ian, welcome. Uh we spend a lot of Thursday nights together um trying to make this place better. Um Pat and Tammy, uh we're going to do something more formal, but thank you both. These are our service positions. Um I don't know how much the public is

going to watch this recording, but everybody up here is volunteering their time and having time away from their family to make the school better and and do things that a lot of people aren't willing to do. So, um thank you guys all for participation. Uh voter turnout was low. Um I appreciate the heck out of everyone that came out um after their work day, in the middle of their work day, juggling kids, making a vote. It matters. The ones that mailed in, same thing. It matters. Um we got to get that number up. Uh obviously the more engaged the community is uh the better things get here. Um maybe we bring back the uh FFA chicken barbecue we talked about, the plant sales, figure out something that we can for next year. Um collectively a

lot of us will still be here. So, we'll try to figure out a way to to you know, draw some more parents out. Uh and then um whoever set up the art show, I don't know who you are, it was outstanding. I'm blown away by the talent that our kids have in so many ways. It's just next level. Uh I spent a little time down there. Really moving stuff. Um and that's it. Uh congratulations on a passed budget uh to the board and the community. And um I'm looking forward to another great year here on the board. I have a motion. Motion. Okay. Gary motion to adjourn. Seconded by Nicole. All in favor. And that's unanimous. Thank you very much, guys. 9:08. That's it.
