all right good all right we're going to go ahead and start the meeting please stand for pledge i applied blending of the united states of america which it stands one nation under god indivisible with liberty and justice for all [Music] okay so i'm going to appoint stacey for converse as our proton park for the meeting tonight did you receive any public okay we do have an agenda change that's right i skipped right over that going back to agenda changes we're adding letter d approval of change order to items for board action thank you any communications no okay moving on to board and staff reports we're going to start with miss janelle dupey who's our principal for paperback good evening i'm excited to be here tonight usually we're at knickerbocker however the cafeteria is now just

you all know partially a music room so one side of our cafeteria has been transformed into our music room so that's exciting um so i'm just gonna begin with some awesome happenings at knickerbocker so the first one that i'm going to acknowledge tonight is our staff collaboration um i think this has been huge this year especially with wednesdays being no students in the building it gives the staff a lot of collaboration time in the morning and this has been really good for them to get together and discuss the online resources that they're using some are new you know pushing them out of their comfort zone and continuing with some of the programs that they started that were new to them in the spring and getting our instructional coaches and our technology integration specialists to help

out they are in and out of classrooms and helping with the technology in so many ways so an extra special shout out and thank you to jen nicole julie tara and jason so they are amazing um the second thing is our awesome happenings is the technology the teachers are becoming more comfortable every day with using technology in the room they've been pushed out of their comfort zone in so many ways they are incorporating new programs daily into their instruction both in the classroom with their hybrid learners and our virtual teachers using so many of the new programs that we have and again utilizing those technology integration specialists they come in they've set up so much technology in their classrooms to help them navigate so many different things with our virtual learners at home so that's

excellent number three is our student engagement and um i love this picture right here this is mrs overton and she is successfully working she's got a station set up in the corner of the library she's zooming with her students from the chromebook and she's using an ipad as a document camera and it's shining down so that she can actually do some math problems on that whiteboard and her kids can see her at home and she can see that on the screen so we've definitely utilized the various pieces of technology that we have because of course you know we don't have every single you know a document camera or everything that they need in every single classroom so we're making what we have work um and again the teachers are working very successfully with csa google

classroom and you just see an excitement of learning in these kids you know even though they're only there two days a week or you know they might only be virtually they're excited to learn another thing we have that i wanted to show you was our library book quarantine cart it's two-sided and mrs williams in the library created this and it's when she pulls the books out of the return bin they go on a shelf and she doesn't have to touch them again until they come out of quarantine and she just moves the day of the week it's velcro so that we are ensuring that we're not touching those books until it's time to reshelf them so it's pretty neat and we made the poster on the big machine case so that's cool fourth exciting happening

is all of our stem activities that are continuing to go on even during trying time at school so this is our new lego table that we have in the library unfortunately it's not being used right now but we did set it up so we could take a picture on each side there are lego bins that they can be pulled out set on the top and that entire top is a lego top table so that the kids can build on top of that so when we come out of this pandemic the kids will be so excited to use that and here are some stem activities and i wanted to show you these because we are creating stem kits and these are kits that are actually going to be put together to go home to our virtual

students so that they can be creating these stem projects at home even though they're not in school so we have a book page wreath and that is with books that you know may be ripped torn whatever that the library is getting rid of but we're going to recycle them and with a jar ring they're going to make book reads the middle two are resin ornaments they are going to be given vinyl letters and the ornament and the resin and the ink and they can create that ornament at home and then the last thing is the mod podge ornaments so they will get the wooden disk they're going to virtually send their teachers a picture they will downsize that and put that in the back to go back home with them with a little tube of

mod podge and a stick so that they can paint that as well so we're really excited to have those projects going on in december and the fifth thing was the empire state maker faire so on october 16th a team presented from the knickerbocker library lisa blank submitted presentations from our summer stem groups makerspace 3d virtual print printing and robotics and the 3d virtual printing was chosen and lisa blank lisa damage julie williams and kevin chamberlain from cornell cooperative extension presented and how we were successful teaching 3d printing virtually so that was really exciting three areas of growth the first one is just expanding on parent square and utilizing all the features that parent square has to offer so one of the things that we figured out parent square can do is we did a virtual

picture day for all of our virtual students and we were able to create a sign up and the parents are able to go in and sign up for a five-minute time slot just to come in at the back door and have their kids picture taken but it was so easy because they were able to sign right up through the parent square app and just for teachers to continue to become um increasing more pump um becoming more comfortable with the app and then getting 100 of our parents on the app because we can still see that there are some out there that still aren't utilizing that app and there's so much to offer on it the second thing is go guardian and once again it is strictly just utilizing all the features the program has to

offer um and teachers having the time to really just learn about it and navigate goguardian and realizing that they can text call and communicate with their students through lifetime while they're actually working at home and we do have a good number of our teachers using that a lot more of our virtual teachers are using it so hopefully our um we can expand that out to get even more people um using that because it's great and the third thing is making connections through zoom any way possible teachers being able to zoom with all students on wednesdays i know that's difficult with work schedules and different things and the other thing is the increased participation with those special area consultant teachers special education teachers speech ais reading etc just making sure we can get all those kids

on at their times and really making connections with them not only through academic but also that social emotional support and the last thing is where is support still needed and really it's just continued support and resources for students that are learning at home virtually we want to continue to make sure that you know they're motivated they're driven they want to get on you know it's hard to sit in front of a computer all day but keeping them coming to school because it's so important so that's it thank you all very much thank you thank you thank you any questions for mrs duvey i appreciate all the library slides i thought i recognized the book reef we share ideas [Laughter] well i want to thank you for your extra happening starting with that because i think

this time it's really important to know that you're still doing those positive things for kids looks like you got some exciting activities coming along the way so that's pretty cool moving on to policy committee meeting jason harrington the policy committee had our monthly meeting friday november 13th at noon in the district office and the following policies were reviewed philosophy of education and school board goals and objectives no changes equal opportunity and non-discrimination here we change the title of compliance title 9 coordinator to title 9 coordinator report of possible discrimination or harassment no changes possible discrimination or harassment appeal form no changes there either brings us into policy 12 sexual harassment uh we're checking some verbiage in regard to gender sensitivity and adding some distinction about what form employees and students use to report sexual harassment

more on that just a minute 12.1 sexual harassment no changes 12.2 sexual harassment complaint form we designated this complaint form for adult and personnel and we'll be drafting a new complaint form titled 12.3 strictly for students aside from that we took out names of employees listed and instead left only their titles in the event that said individuals no longer worked for the district student registration and pre-registration to vote no changes there instruction and employment of hiv-infected individuals we remove the position that we are stressing abstinence as the most effective and appropriate protection against aids because it didn't seem like our place to suggest this the policy also alerted to an advisory council which as of now is non-existent so we're working on establishing one drug three workplace no changes tobacco nicotine and e-cigarette use prohibited

which is there no changes again with code of ethics for all district personnel alcohol drugs and other substances here we made the distinction that the superintendent designates the school social worker and school psychologist where they are located and how to get a hold of them in the event that someone needed to reach the appropriate party for information drug-free workplace eliminating the entire section uh titled consequences for violation of policy drug-free workplace regulation no changes student alcohol and drug abuse as with 6204 which was alcohol drugs and other substances we again made the superintendent designation known in case someone needs to reach the appropriate party public report on revisions to district policies practices and procedures upon finding a finding of significant disproportionality we added a missing page number here finally a combination of hearing impaired appearance

parody and notice there were no changes okay thank you all right moving on to items from consent agenda resolved consent agenda items a and b are hereby approved a approval of the minutes of the committee on pre-school education b approval of the minutes of the committee on special education okay i have a motion please in a second any discussion all in favor any opposed motion carries moving on to items for board action resolved that the annual internal audit and annual risk assessment of the school district as prepared by the firm of questar iii boces for the period ending june 30th 2020 and the corrective action plans associated there with is hereby accepted and approved i have a motion please seth in a second susie any discussion all in favor any opposed motion cares resolves that

the watertown city school district board of education amends the 2020-21 school calendar as follows november 23rd 2020 will now be an early dismissal due to parent-teacher conferences in the afternoon motion please patricia b lavar the board of education hereby approves the following appointments student information systems specialist instructional substitutes i have a motion please susie in a second okay any discussion all in favor any opposed motion carries resolved that the change order for converge one to provide 40 additional phones through the smart [Music] michael i need a discussion just just a question about the the need for more yeah so when we had our smart schools plan approved two years ago some staffing has changed and grown a little bit so therefore the need for the phones makes sense um as far as budget where is

that money coming from do we have extra in our smart schools are we gonna have to pull it from somewhere else yep josh do you want to cover that or do you want me to we should be able to eat it at some other contingency in smart schools if not we can absorb it in our uh we did have additional put aside and i t stuff so basically there's contingency in the smart schools and that's most likely where it will come from okay any other questions discussion all in favor any opposed motion cares okay all righty moving on to superintendent school's report um jason do you mind if i go back to the policies that we talked about because the sheet that we were given from madison oneida we actually added more to it because

we and so it's in the board packet um and we discussed this at our policy meeting um and i just want to take note because some of these things are timely for the next board meeting to get approved so we talked about um 1100 records management and that is we received on november 10th an update from madison oneida our policy service that we have that the state americans branch of the state edge department adopted a new retention and disposition schedule for new york local governments designated lgs-1 and we talked about that and we had just done that policy not too long ago so it's basically replacing what's in the documents of ed-1 with lgs-1 and all of the former schedules so that's really the biggest change with that policy but it also impacts policy 5410

the protection of student teacher and principal personal identifier personal information data security and privacy and on policy 7101 student medicaid and student medications it goes through both of those policies and again the changes to those are very slight in 5410 it's one revision in part eight um section a number four it's just to delete the reference and the eb1 schedule and then insert the retention and just decision schedule for new york local government's records that lgs-1 and the same thing with the student medication you have to resolve revised in part seven letter g number one again you're deleting sed record retention schedule and you're inserting retention and disposition schedule for new york local governments lg one so those were a few of the things that have to be done and we'll also have to do

a resolution on december 1st as well and that resolution um basically just talks about adopting the lgs-1 in place of the current what was in there the ev has one so we'll be talking about that but it is timely because it has to be all in place before january 1st and since our next board meeting is the last one before the end of the year it's really important that we make sure that those go through and again policy committee did talk about those the other thing is we um are waiting on the review of what the attorney general is doing with some of our like our code of conduct and and some of the other things that were required and so we've had the change in some of our other policies as jason alluded to

earlier compliance coordinator or compliance officer and so that doesn't have policy 7202 um prohibition of discrimination harassment and bullying and it's just changing the word compliance to title ix and the same thing applies to non-discrimination and educational services again it's just changing the words compliance to title ix but we want to be consistent with the other policies that we've just changed so those will be up for board approval on december 1st that's a quick quick question on that so the requirements for local governments supersede this data department earlier this year the state archives branch of the state education department so it is a branch of the state archives branch of the state ed department adopted a new retention and disposition schedule for new york local government's records designated lds lds-1 previously school districts and board

of cooperative educational services were required to follow the document retention periods listed in the schedule known as eb-1 other forms of local governments had separate document retention schedules the lgs one replaces all of these former schedules school districts and board of cooperative educational services must formally adopt the lgs one by january 1st and then follow the retention requirements of the lgs-1 so they're actually trying to make it consistent correct cool so and the good thing was you know we were pretty much up to date with that policy but now everything is is kind of in place for that so um i attended yet uh webinar by new york state school board yesterday called bridging the equity divide for your policy and i actually reached out to madison oneida about policy team this morning they gave

us a sample board policy on um diversity equity inclusion and when you read through the sample policy from nisba it is spot-on of all of the hard work that we're doing right now in our district to make sure that we're we're celebrating and we're being inclusive and so i've asked them to take a look at the model from nisba and ask them to put it in draft form so that i could share it with our policy committee in december and then bring it back um to the full board for review but and all of the things that we're waiting on from the attorney of the office of the attorney general whether it's the code of conduct the compliance plan the strategies for encouraging and reinforcing positive student behaviors or the training plan it makes sense

for us as a board and as a school district to take a look at this policy um that's been put in front of us i just wish i had that webinar a few months ago because it's really it was really wonderful um stacey tina and i attended a virtual meeting yesterday with gwen and her team and we will be using the framework of our five-year strategic plan and taking a look at refreshing that in regards to diversity equity and inclusion as well as the new normal that we're living in and then we'll ask that strategic planning committee to come back for a review and we should be probably doing that on an annual basis anyway um and updating that so um and i'm just going to give you a lot of things to celebrate things

that are in progress and updates i want to thank mrs dupey and the knickerbocker staff for everything that you do the presentation tonight was great and it's nice to see how they're including the students that are virtual i also want to give a shout out to nickerbacher because i had a call from a parent last week it was just um had hybrid students but was just a little bit overwhelmed with um having the students when they're at home engaging in instruction and making sure that they're you know as a parent sure how do i meet the needs so um katie kimball and tara elmer have made arrangements to do a home visit and work with the family to make sure that that family is having their needs met and we've done that across the district

since tonight's focus is on knickerbocker i just want to give a shout out because our staff is going above and beyond to try to make this work for everybody so thanks to them um we met with the fort drum command team to provide status updates we do that at least monthly with indian river and carthage and we will be doing a town hall with the fort drum command and indian river and carthage on december 14th at noon and i'll give you more details at the next board meeting on what that's going to you know entail from us in addition to that you know i've been attending a lot of virtual meetings and webinars because that's the time we're living in right now ty stone from suny jefferson did a great virtual presentation and updated the

community on everything that suny jefferson is doing an update of their strategic plan i attended the wellness committee meeting last week with tina and i think as we sat there and listened to the staff you know um we were all socially distanced uh the group that attended on this committee in the case cafeteria and we were trying to brainstorm ideas for student and staff wellness and things that we can do because we're at a time right now where just everyone is overwhelmed so one of the things that we came up with and i'll share with you more of the details in december but it's going to happen pretty quickly where we're looking at as a district um it's a little over 3 000 miles to the north pole and so we're going to try to

as a district see if we can together students and staff walk from here to the north pole and back so we can all record our our exercise and our walking but it's a little bit about pulling the community together for a fun activity in a way that we can right now you know as the holiday season approaches and we you know we'll be having some of the festivities that we're used to we're trying to embrace some other things that we can do to really just get our community in a better spot right after that meeting the next day i had a meeting with wpbs and when i sat in that version i realized that's another opportunity for us to work together as a community with wpbfs that were librarians on the call there were people

that were talking about virtual stem camps so um we've created a subcommittee out of that the wpbs community education council and we're going to look at ways to support our community throughout the holiday season with activities that we kind of brainstorm together but again it's just looking on how do we pull the community together because right now with a number of positive cases people are feeling more overwhelmed and a little more stressed so what are some things that we can do that are first of all coveted safe and friendly but to uh you know keep people in the spirit of the season on thursday this week i'll be meeting with the fellow achievement committee we have 28 nominations and we're going to pair that list down and then be ready to report to you most

likely by that first meeting in january the north country family health center gave us an update today currently school-based dental health services are still not allowed to operate in new york state due to covid so and there's no definitive date on when they can open so what they've done is in an effort to be proactive they've made the decision to move their school-based dental program to the community-based sites and i did send out a parent square notice about that tonight so that our you know parents and staff are all alerted to the fact that they will be able to provide their services at the community branch but for right now due to the covet and the state regulations are not able to do that tomorrow tina and i have a webex meeting with jefferson county

public health and the jefferson county superintendents to see what the status is in our county um and i'll be able to give you a further update after that we continue to watch you know the positive cases develop not only in our district but in uh you know we've been lucky here we haven't had anything in the last week or so but if you look to our surrounding counties or the state of new york or across the country um and in the national superintendent forum group that i'm in most of the discussions that we have on a weekly basis is that this is a common problem around the country and more schools are going remote so we have two plans in place we have that remote plan ready to go when we need to activate that

but at the same time we've already planned to have our students come back you know k-6 at least to start with instruction hybrid when we're able to do that so right now it's just waiting on the data and seeing what happens and i would highly encourage people to remember you know during this upcoming thanksgiving to be really safe to do all your social distancing wearing your mask you know follow the guidance that we've been given um groups of less than 10 because you know as i told one parent today schools are really so far a pretty safe place to be and we need to continue to count on our community to make sure that when kids are in school they're not coming and they're not bringing things into the school a couple more updates for

you um the intramural program has been going really well we'd like to extend that out again for another three weeks while we wait on winter sports and winter sports are kind of on a pause right now um as superintendents in our weekly meeting you know we started to talk about winter sports and what that might look like but then with a number of cases that are positive we have to wait on guidance um you know from the new york state public athletic association but right now winter sports um that are safe or potentially could happen are bowling which we don't have what we don't offer and swimming and so i wanted to give you an update on high school pool this morning jason benedict from king and king reached out and basically said that um

jeff palace from palace contracting um you talked with him this morning all of the 26 inlet jets have been removed which is the hardest part of the job and they just received the new jets and they're going to begin reassembling them in the fittings and making sure that they are watertight he believes everything is on schedule to be complete by the end of november as we agreed upon and um the district has been very pleased with the progress and the daily cleanup so as of right now things seem to be going very well with that project and we'd like to keep that going in a forward direction so that if we are allowed to have sports our pool will be ready yay [Laughter] um and then meal distribution next week will be on tuesday which

is a change because of school on wednesday and then two reports that will be coming up in the near future to the board we've been doing a lot in the area of technology and then a lot with facilities so two of our newest members to the team jeff wood and john wilson will be coming at two separate meetings to update the board on the status of where things are at one of the things for example um stacy tina and i meet with jeff on a bi-weekly basis and in meeting them with this morning i mean we could go on and tell you about all the things that have changed in the past 45 days that have been incredible one example would be the email security implementation with mimecast if emails come in that are suspicious

they're quarantined and then we have to each individual user has to either release them permit them to come in or they are blocked so it's really been a nice way to start to clean up some of those potential you know mishaps that could happen but a lot of work uh john's only been on deck for a little over a week right now and he's working through fire inspections and he's getting to know the custodial staff so both jeff and john look forward to coming to the board and sharing out what they've done in their first few months on the job so we'll start with jeff maybe next month um if not then january and then john would fall so i gave you a lot of information but a lot of things have happened since the

last two weeks and the other thing i guess i should mention is when i met with wpbis wpbs the wiz quiz because of code has been cancelled so they won't be um having a whisk quiz this season wiz quiz will hope to return in fall of and that's it all right assistant superintendent for instruction [Laughter] um i wanted to share with you some positives at the end of marking period one um we spent some time on case principal and assistant principal and then the principal of the high school we met yesterday and dissected some of the passing rates for our courses as well as overall course averages and talked about implications for instruction and what are some of the areas that we might need to really look at a little bit more closely um for

student participation and engagement and we know that that is a struggle across the board where it's not unique to our district but it's something that we are faced with tackling as a sort of a problem solution mentality so really looking at those closely um one of the success areas though which has been a really nice happening i think overall because it's been a struggle for years is in the area of pe um our passing rates have soared this year and you know it sounds like a a little bit of humor but you know when i asked the principals i said you know what do you think the reason for that is kind of knowing in my mind what i thought it was um we really talked about the mindset shift that has had to happen

this year because of cobit in that students can't change for gym class anymore that that has always been a source of contention for students and their participation some are just very reluctant to do so despite the fact that they can have individual areas um to change if need be but in trying to make them as comfortable as possible we're noticing that both in the middle and high school the participation rates are much higher um students are very engaged in what's happening at both levels and so that's a really big positive so just wanted to share that um impact aid surveys continue to come in um our clerical staff in every building has been so instrumental in helping us and so we have you know piles of surveys coming in every day we're still shy of

what we're looking to have back for the district you know ideally 100 rate across all buildings would be great um but we're getting there so hopefully i'll be able to share with you some statistics on what our military and civilian rates are for the 2021 school year at either the december meeting if not then definitely the january meeting but just wanted to keep you updated on that but that's still a work in progress and then in front of you you have a synopsis of the family survey that we put out um probably almost three weeks ago at this point and i just wanted to share with you some of the highlights of the survey um we did have 632 responses um not not a bad response rate overall but uh not as high as our

reopening survey obviously and if you look at the percentages of the grade level responses it's just shy of a 10 return rate for all grade levels it really was pretty equitable across the board obviously would like to have more input but at this point that's where we stand a pretty equitable split across whether students are attending hybrid on mondays thursdays tuesday friday or all virtual and you can see that you know overall people are relatively satisfied with the instructional work that's happening this year as well as some of the social emotional supports and such um there's a big divide between the amount of teacher-led instructional time each week about half of the respondents uh said that it's just right and about half of them said that it's just little so something to discuss a little

bit um but when i dig into the building responses um and i shouldn't say buildings i'll say elementary versus middle and high um that seems to be a resounding theme throughout so it's not particular to one aspect of our instructional grade levels pretty squarely in the middle for synchronous learning most of the respondents were at least somewhat satisfied with the experiences there and the same for asynchronous learning some of the positives that were shared apparent square was just across the board something that people said off the bat has been a really positive aspect in particular it has increased the communication across the district with the community and i felt that that was very a very good positive health and safety precautions that we're taking in the process of reopening making sure that students are wearing

their masks and that they're able to come to school and participate as students for those who have chosen the hybrid model was noted as well it was mentioned a few times but i thought it warranted a mention here is information that's been coming out from our advisors and our high school for seniors specifically um was something also that was noted as a positive because that's a group of our students who you know is experiencing their senior year in a different way than a lot of them had ever planned on uh so something that we're definitely cognizant of the weekly schedule uh something that was very ever present in the reopening survey which we had made a big effort to put in place uh has also been something that was very positively received and you can

see in the next few pages suggestions for improving virtual learning um you know a lot of parents they no longer get back in school and they know that that's not a reality right now um and many of them were very um very mindful of that and and very positive about the work that's happening but they they really can't wait for the day that their their children can be the best here [Music] they are looking for more live instruction so that's something that is a work in progress for us as a district and our k-6 model is very different than our 712 model so just keeping in that in mind with our hybrid students as well across the board k-12 um having you know that availability for teachers is really tough right now they still have

students on those days and so we're trying to keep that in mind and find creative ways to help students when they are at home uh throughout all uh there's been some questions about attendance raised a few weeks ago we did shift our attendance mode started the year out looking at virtual program best practices for collecting attendance and we did so on the basis of the collection of completed work from students and giving them a percentage of attendance based on that completion and while it is a best practice it was proving relatively ineffective for us to be collecting daily ascendant attendance which is a state requirement as well so in trying to mitigate and balance both of those needs you know one for flexibility and families and the other for meeting the demands of the state

requirements to submit that daily attendance we did make the shift to doing daily check-ins so that we're making sure students are checking in daily if they're able to do so independently on their group of classrooms but then on parent square for our students who are of younger ages maybe wouldn't be able to do so independently we're continually trying to find a way to do that in a more efficient manner but that's where we sit right now but i do want to know that that was a suggestion that was very heavily emphasized throughout the survey and at the very end are just a note to all of those suggestions for improvement there were themes throughout the survey i did you know share some of the details that i just shared with you verbally but just so

you have those our plan with uh this is for tina patty and i to really sit with this a little bit more in depth take some time and go through it and make sure we've got all the information in there to share with the community and then to share it with the staff the administration and then post it so that the student can see the results of the survey as well and what we're continuing to work on that's it all right thank you assistant superintendent for personnel and student services so coleman seems to be a topic of prevalence i've set up meetings with jefferson county public health on friday for our staff and all of our employees 2 45 and 3 45 faith lustig will be leading a discussion on the covet 19 grades k-12

toolkit she'll also talk about travel which is the timeline topic and any other questions that our employees may have about covid in our community and in new york state so that's a good opportunity great attendance we did one in october and we'll do one again now to keep everybody informed uh we've also been meeting with our uh people support staff i met with k-16 last week we're working on a new set of protocols for hybrid students who are not working outside of school and then protocols for remote students not working within the virtual environment so we have made a great effort the team has done a wonderful job in creating a flow chart and then implementing it in terms of reaching students who were we've been unable to reach since september now we're going to

move into students who are present but they're not doing their work or not present you know in terms of you know getting their work completed and engaging in instruction so we're looking forward to working on that moving forward i meet with the seven through twelve team uh tomorrow at one pm um i continue i met with the nurses last week they continue to do a fantastic job we communicate all day every day regarding different topics that come up it's just ever evolving i talked with wendy o'sullivan today our fort drum school liaison officer and we're working on a couple of things um as mrs lavar had mentioned we met with fort drum last week um and we're working on um communication between fort drum and our district and in terms of uh quarantine fort drum

has their set of rules for quarantines is a little different than jefferson county public health but we seem to have a good system in places of today for communicating that information doctors notes things like that simply like that we just have to make sure that we have a good record of our students who are sent home with symptoms either they have to get tested or have a chronic condition or have a lab tested result for another condition so ever evolving we're all learning together and it's been a great uh team effort all right business management we're gonna delay about 15 seconds i'm going to try to trick the system a little bit here audio condition so ever evolving we're all learning together and it's been a great team effort okay so for us the budget

calculations budget preparations are ongoing both these isrs are starting to come in and you know there's other soliciting additional quotes we have to redo the application and stuff right now but they've done a tremendous amount of work and i think we're nearing work with our tech completion on the feedback because when i turn the volume up here thank you to stacey we have to redo the application and stuff right now but they've done a tremendous amount of work and i think we're never completed on the feedback [Music] it's just cycling back through so i don't know how we want to handle josh's report but at this time i can call an idea yeah it's gonna say that we could call him can we call him yes we'll give him a call and i'll put him

on speaker and then the public will be able to hear him as well you're on speaker go ahead okay i'm going to mute mine starting to get a bunch of other additional quotes and it's just it's not going to process a lot of much better ideas and wrapped around what exactly we're going to work earlier this week the due we are currently working on a construction manager rfp and i believe this is i'm going to sit down and just discussing this we are happy with the construction associates it's just part of our due diligence i don't one of the things that popped up in one of our audits honestly is that it's been a long i mean like eight plus years which is far outside of our policies since this has been done and we'll

also be doing the same thing for our auto response internal external this winter and spring and beyond that just continuing to pare down that future capital project class before presenting faf board that i think is pretty well complete except step one is going to be to get the construction manager figure out what that's going to be so that they can double check for costs just so we don't have a realistic number from that's all any question for that no i'm good anybody else questions thank you so much thank you josh have a good day all right so some upcoming dates again very pared down since we can't be in our schools for large gatherings unfortunately so no holiday concerts coming up which is quite sad we do have a faf committee uh next tuesday two

weeks two weeks right so december 1st um and then our next board of education meeting it's also going to be december 1st 6 pm um and then buildings are closed for christmas the 24th 25th through january 1st go around the room probably starting to give you anything you'd like to add all right so can i have a motion to go into executive meeting to discuss the superintendent's goals jason thank you give a second all in favor all right motion carries
