okay new one i need a motion to approve the minutes of the meeting of october 26 2021 chris diane all those in favor everyone thank you i need a motion to adjust the order of the agenda and to approve the consent agenda matt kathy all those in favor i'd like to welcome you all to the meeting the board of education encourages participation of residents this is a board of education meeting as the board president i am the chairperson of this meeting and any statements should be addressed to me and me alone our current policy is a total of 15 minutes three minutes per resident for the statement time frame also as a courtesy we will request if your statement has been previously made by someone else that you allow another resident to speak and make

a possible different statement i need a motion to combine both statements of resident sections of the agenda and allow the state the residents to give statements a total of 15 minutes three minutes per residence kathy second chris all those in favor thank you dr family okay good evening everyone thank you so much for joining us tonight um i'd like to start off by sharing that last weekend we enjoyed the phenomenal drama performance of pups by our senior high school drama club so i would like to take a moment to thank our director mrs caffiero miss ali our stage manager assistant stage managers meg del monaco and ashlyn hernandez stage manager in training liz gibbons technical director mr mark palmentary technical director for lights and sounds mr kyle henshaw and to the cast and crew really

well done well done all of us enjoyed your performance i particularly love seeing so many students watching in the audience and cheering on their their peers so well done team this week is school psychologist recognition week on behalf of our administration team and our board of education i would like to take a moment to recognize and thank our psychologists in our school district they truly go above and beyond to help our students and help our families and have certainly gone above and beyond the last two years in supporting our students and families with that are struggling with mental health needs so again thank you to our psychologists next week november 15th that week is supervisor and administrators recognition week on behalf of our board of education i would like to thank each and every one

of our administrators in our school district throughout the last two years certainly the work hours and work days have certainly been blurred for the admin team we truly on behalf of the board thank you for your time your ongoing dedication to our students our staff our faculty and our west babylon schools and on a personal note a huge thank you to mrs sorakis mr hanley mr payne who worked side by side with me to lead our district thank you again for your time your guidance and your unwavering dedication to this school district regardless of what i throw your way during our last board of education meeting a question was posed with regards to the new new york state requirement to post board of education meeting information although previously not required by law our team has

already had this practice in place really for at least about 15 years so any board information that you would like anything with regards to our meetings please feel free to visit our website and you'll find it there during tonight's meeting board of education meeting we have mrs curcio and mr mack here who have prepared a presentation on the mental health supports that we have in place for our students so i'm excited to share all that information with everyone next item that i would like to just review as you know as our board certainly knows i participate in many meetings on behalf of our county one of those meetings is focused specifically on advocating for the continued partnership with our suffolk county police department in particular our sros as many of you know we have a

phenomenal partnership with our police department we invite our suffolk county police department's officers to join us on our drills to give us feedback constantly we invite new officers from our local precinct to do walk-throughs of our buildings because we had all committed our board and admin team years ago we wanted our officers in our building often so that they can know the lay of the land right in our schools we actually allowed again a number of years ago suffolk county pd to conduct their own police training in our buildings that video is actually continued to be used continues to be used i should say by the police department we invite our officers into classrooms they read stories to our students they participate in career day and years ago you'll remember there was a big press

conference here on site we were the first district to sign on to the share initiative in which suffolk county police department you know would be able to access our cameras in an extremely dangerous situation because of our strong partnership and our respect for our police department i don't know of many district admin teams right that can say that chief cameron worked directly with them and we certainly can um so i share all this background information just to remind everyone of the pro of the partnership and the proven respect and collaboration that our school district has with our police officers but also to share um that during recent meetings i have been advocating for the continuation of the sro program our sro is phenomenal many of our trustees know our sro right she provides a lot

of support to our schools has conducted lessons during full days at our senior high school in previous years works closely with our admin team and families as needed so i'm really hopeful that the police department sro program that that continues and if it does there's going to be a revised sro memorandum of understanding that i'll be adding to a future board meeting for the board to authorize on a separate note but kind of similar right it's really kind of an announcement on behalf of suffolk county police department they're actively hiring school crossing guards that is another area where we there's a void there so this is an important part of the police department as these individuals are responsible for the safety of children controlling traffic in school zones and escorting pedestrians across busy intersections in

the mornings and afternoons again there is a shortage right now and school districts may be losing some you know areas some designated crossing guards so anyone that is interested please please please um reach out to the local precinct um to ask and inquire about these um positions and the last couple of items just really fyi for our west avalon families an email will be sent out by our its department that includes a new york state technology equity survey so basically new york state is ascertaining what technology needs currently exists for our students right so in our case our students have chromebook devices that are issued by a district we have also issued wi-fi hotspots for students who do not have internet access i would anticipate that the data provided by the parents and guardians will

reflect different circumstances from other school districts throughout the state that were not able to issue chromebooks and internet access as we were again just sharing an fyi that that survey is coming your way also mr hanley will be sending out to families information with regards to optional weekly clovid testing for students again this is optional we've talked about this beforehand if a family is interested in this optional testing they would respond and schedule an appointment quick reminder if any parent or guardian has a specific question with regards to their child's instruction curriculum or the child's progress their report card overall how they're doing please do not hesitate to reach out to your child's teacher or principal and then really to close out my statements the next board of education meeting is november 23rd where we

will be inviting um the ecg team to join us for an energy performance contract update and also mr payne will be will be presenting on the student success section of the strategic plan so i had quite a lot of quite a list today but that's it that closes me up thank you mr campus adam thank you dr farrelly i need a motion to waive the discussion and move policy 8505 to third time adoption kathy second diane all those in favor okay um we're gonna oh yeah you doesn't say it no it doesn't say it all right let's let's just take the vote on this one you want to do that go ahead all those in favor that's everyone oh okay yeah it's not on here okay that's fairly okay all right if i could invite

up miss curcio and mr mac thank you for joining us today we have the clicker okay now let me see if i can um okay good evening everybody my name is gina curcio i'm the director of guidance here in west babylon and this is mr michael mack director of student services and we're very pleased to um present tonight on what we've been doing to support our students mental health needs thus far okay all right so okay so in in the summer we began meeting talking about what is it that we need to do to collaborate on in order to start supporting our parents with helping our students to adjust to transition back to school so what we did was myself mr mack dr farrelly and mr payne created a workshop on mental health and transitioning

back to school and we performed two of those workshops to support our families we also sent out parent survey to assess our student needs and any student any parent who had put out anything that was something that needed to be addressed right away we had our school psychologists who are fully who were working already reach out to those families and then any student or any parent that expressed a need we then had them as a priority in september to address their mental health needs i'd like to also say our superintendent dr farrelly even did some home visits for some of our students who had some anxieties about coming back to school so that's something that's unheard of but something that needs to be uh represented um and and really noted um additionally the scl committee

met over the summer and we created a reopening framework to support our teachers so that they're prepared to support our students in that framework we gave teachers strategies and tools such as look fors to recognize any trauma or any any signs or symptoms where they would feel that student would need some extra support as well as strategies on how to make appropriate referrals to support staff we also gave suggested sel lesson plans and our focus was really building community within the classroom because we had so many students who were virtual last year and we wanted to really create that community atmosphere for when they came back in september i'm sorry um our guidance counselors i'll start with our junior high school counselors they've been running groups as well as doing classroom lessons thus far they've

pushed into our facts classes to begin career lessons and teach our students about naviance software um additionally our sixth grade i think i skipped a slide i'm sorry about that i apologize so our sixth grade account another thing that we did over the summer is we hired a sixth grade counselor mr sean scanoni and since he's come on board i have to say he is hands-on he's began working with our sixth grade students by doing their mandated ipr meetings which is an individual progress review plan where he meets with all of the students to discuss their career goals goals that they may have to build on their strengths and weaknesses in a variety of different topics he's also presented in our sixth grade classes to get to know our students and believe me they all

already know him he's been such a presence and i'm so proud of the work that he's done thus far he's attended our sixth grade orientation evening and our parent um he's also presented at our parent workshop that we recently did in the junior high school we also hired two full-time social workers one in the elementary school as well as one in the high school they've been a fabulous addition as well our senior high school counselors over the summer let our freshman orientation which i have to say was very well attended and the feedback from the families was overall positive it was a great way to have our freshmen introduced into the high school we also had a number of orientations our kindergarten orientation our sixth grade orientation as well as open forum nights for our

students if they just wanted to come in and have a question random grades and a lot of the kids who came in i guess their biggest anxieties was for from our former virtual students where they just wanted to see the building and have a tour we also gave personalized tours to any parent who requested it for their for their children so that they could get used to um transitioning back into the building for september additionally um in our junior high school we created a new mental health suite where our school psychologist and our social worker are now um in there so that it kind of gives students a level of privacy so that they're not just all going originally they were all with the guidance council in the jungle high school so if a child

has a mandated session or an individual session they don't have to feel like everybody's going to know not that it was not confidential but they didn't have to go to the guidance counselor's office and see random people they could just go to the mental health suite also if anyone just there's another office that they can go to if they need any assistance so for our guidance counselors like i had said earlier mr schwanskanoni has already been doing sixth grade sel lesson plans in the classroom our um junior high high school counselors seventh and eighth grade have been working on naviance in the classroom and career building skills individual seventh grade orientation meetings began so our seventh grade counselors have been meeting with all families and students individually to get them acclimated back to school as

well as doing their ipr meetings as well um new entrant meetings have been going on and we've had been having a wide variety of students who've been entering and every new entrant gets a individual meeting with their families as well as for the student themselves to get them acclimated to west babylon as well as groups have been beginning in particular in our junior high school the way we started our groups was obtaining data on what is it that the students need so what we recently heard from teachers was that you know our students could use some assistance with time management and coping skills in a you know in particular with strategies around test taking skills because this year more than ever with balancing sports homework being in school every day they want to those students

they want to have support for them so that's where our groups are starting in the junior high school our senior high schools similarly we've been meeting with all of our new entrants so it's any new student that entered the district they're individually meeting with them as well as their families september was has been and october has been all about our seniors and really acclimating them into the college application process so um because early decision and early action decisions are basically the priority and main focus in september and october um also writing a number of letters of recommendation and they've also been beginning with our freshman groups so they've been acclimating our freshmen to get back and then starting this week i believe tomorrow counselors are going to be pushing into our 10th grade classrooms to

go over our boces program and get a sign-up sheet to see who's interested in going in our 10th grade classes to boces next year when they're juniors there's also upcoming class presentations such as any student who took the psat they're going to be presenting in the classrooms on how to improve their sat scores and study habits as well and as far as senior high school and junior high school counselors as well as social workers and psychologists like i had said earlier our main priority has been assisting our virtual students getting acclimated back into school every day as well as our students who we knew from last year um were mentioned who may have faced a trump a traumatic situation or any type of situation that may be of need we wanted to follow up with

them and make that a priority this year so for the boces programs what i was talking about they're going to be go our counselors are going into the classroom starting tomorrow to introduce to wilson tech so for example nursing um we have a nursing program so if uh or a cooking program culinary arts so if you have a child who's interested in that what we're going in is they're gonna go into the classes tomorrow introduce the programs as well children fill out a google doc to say are they interested in attending an orientation at that point we will then be scheduling an orientation with wilson tech to come in to go over all of their programs um students will then sign up to the program to which they're interested in after they were hearing about

it from wilson tech and then we'll do a trip to wilson tech obviously if all is okay with um if we're allowed to do so we will be making that trip as a right still on to wilson tech so they could experience that program hands-on i have a question mrs garcia do we ever reach out to our former students who've gone through the wilson tech program you know maybe to come and talk to the kids you know that that have been successful they've taken the program and now are working in those fields have we ever looked into doing something like that does does wilson tech do something like that um so actually on at the sites um they do they'll invite graduates to go you know to talk to the students and actually the board

is quite familiar with a lot of these programs because every year we go when we visit and all of our students that are at the different programs right um they always speak so highly of but as part of those programs they always bring back the graduates to talk to the students already late i think it's a great idea to move to having them come to students that haven't explored those type thank you all right so as miss carlos here said we hired two social workers this past summer and some of the priorities for the social workers this year so far um have been doing seo lessons um these are based on friendship and coping skills um and also any other needs of the building that come up um the social workers will also be doing

um career lessons with every grade and every student and each student will have a career lesson um plan that goes in their permanent file uh starting their school year when the school year started we bet we met about all the kids that were virtual last year and having them be a top priority um touch base with those students and those teachers to make sure those students are adjusting well back into the school setting after being full virtual and the social workers also work in iep mandated groups and individual sessions for students school psychologists this year um very involved in cac meetings and 504 meetings updated student testing so a lot of kids they're in covert we couldn't test all the students for the reps so we're trying to catch up on all that testing make

sure it's all up to date going forward um again the sites also do mandated social skills groups um were very involved in the building child study teams as well um and they're like a liaison without a district mental health so for example if a kid is going to an outside provider there are liaisons to talk to that provider to make sure that provider and us are using the same language with that student and helping that student the same way so while we did a reopening framework we wanted to still continue the work on checking in on our students so what we're in the process of doing now is creating a mid-year check-in to on a large scale in our elementary level just to see how our students are doing as well as in our secondary

level so mr mac and i our upcoming work is we're going to be working i think tomorrow we're going to we have a meeting scheduled with our elementary school administrators to go over career lesson plans as well as a mid-year check-in right now children are being checked in on like i had said like teachers are doing that as well as morning meetings but we're trying to come up with a plan that's something that's more uniform for everyone as well as we'll be working with the secondary administrators to do the same to do the same to as a mid-year to see how our children are doing engaging their mental health with the results from the survey our plan is to work on on a multi-tiered system of support similarly to what i was explaining to you

about the summer survey based on the issues that any children bring up or we can then really say well who's that best to serve that student so if a child is claiming you know i'm struggling with study skills we know that could be a tier one intervention we'll go over that in a chart next that could be something that a guidance counselor could assist them with if they're saying you know i'm really struggling with a variety of other different issues that may be a little bit more intensive than that may be a tier 2 support that could go to a social worker or a psychologist which we'll explain now all right so this is a chart on this slide basically explains all the support we have for school and one thing that's very important on

the slide is that some parents think that guidance counselors and social workers are not there for every student and they are any student can go to the guidance counselor or social workers and psychologists if students need more support going forward there are two tier two and two tier three recommendations where they can get counseling and social skills groups on their 504s or ieps another focus this year has been professional development we wanted all our guidance counselors social workers and psychologists to have the same professional development so they're all speaking the same language so this year we got something called continued which is a website it's all evidence-based professional development that guidance council social workers and psychologists will all do at the same time to learn the same language and some of the topics are going

to be enl preventative care in schools cultural awareness grief and loss ferpa and mindfulness are some of the topics that they'll study this year additionally to address our students mental health is we have a securely software in west babylon this software monitors the searches that our children are searching such as if a child is looking up depression or suicide or even something like a weapon um that service is mon tho what they're searching is being monitored 24 hours a day seven days a week through their chromebooks so with that being said all our administration including myself is involved in um addressing any securely concerns if it happens during the school day um either myself or one of the mental health team members such as a guidance counselor social worker or psychologist will address the situation

if it happens after hours it's usually myself or an administrator does anyone have any questions and thanks listening just because you know uh yeah it's definitely during freshman orientation i know i in particular spoke about it along with our electives but i think um definitely bringing it up a little bit earlier could definitely be helpful for our kids are there any other questions yes no we don't excuse me this is our presentation if you have a question you can bring it up later and we will answer it at the next meeting thank you anything else any other questions i do want to uh just you know thank the whole department right um this has been definitely a large group effort right you know in terms of and a topic that our board of education certainly

has you know um participated in right in all the different meetings from back in the spring right um you know in terms of throughout right all of us with having at the forefronts right the priority of meeting the mental health needs of our students right if that's not met um then everything else in terms of their academic performance right and then falls aside right so i do want to thank everyone involved um with regards to this right the the social worker is a psychologist um you know throughout this this whole process the guidance department as well right and your efforts right in in leading our team in all these discussions and the board right you know again from day one um we recognize and we're hearing this right we continue to hear this right that

mental health needs are you know both adults and children continue to struggle so thank you so much for tonight's presentation um and um unless you have any other okay thank you thank you so much good night policy i need a motion to waive the discussion and move policy 4000 to third time adoption matt second kathy all those in favor thank you i need him i'm sorry i should have just highlighted also if anyone comes up with any questions um you have our chain of communication right with all the phone numbers and contact information write an email and phone number um so if you need to reach out to ms curcio please feel free to reach out to her that is her email address there or mr mac that is his email address there and again

this is also on the website um plus on that document the chain of communication document that we sent out to parents with everyone's contact information as well that's okay thank you i need a motion to waive the discussion and move policy eight three three zero to third time adoption matt of chris second matt all those in favor thank you we did the next one um policy 5420r i need a motion to wave the reading and move that to second time discussion kathy i need a second matt all those in favor that's everybody excuse me first time reading i need a motion to wave the reading and move policy 8112 to second time discussion motion kathy diane all those in favor thank you first time reading i need a motion to wave the reading and move

policy 8220 to second time discussion john second matt all those in favor thank you we have no old business no new business at this time residents wishing to share a statement should come forward to the microphone state your name and address and any organization you may be representing or write your name and address on a card and hand it to someone at the podium residents who pose questions will be be provided with the name of the appropriate person on the chain of command to contact remember it's three minutes with a total of 15 minutes good evening everyone how are you good how are you doing well thanks so i have a couple of things that i just kind of want to address because we've had a lot of conversation or rather a lot of commentary

in regards to the dei the sel the not crt in our schools and i have a couple of things that are going on with my children that i find quite concerning my daughter came home with an english project and she comes to me and i listen i'm trying my hardest not to read into the stuff guys i really am but this is the thing in sixth and seventh grade right in the junior high those kids are so subliminally able to be imposed on right they don't they want to fit in they want to do the right thing right but there are certain flags that come up and when my daughter comes home and says hey mom they have the blm fist on one of my projects i said lucy bring it to me let me

say i was relieved to tell her no that's not what it is but this this is what it was if you want i can hand that that one to you so this is time you gotta run this was where that was the cover for a writing assignment so i said okay that's that's not what it is but obviously as an adult i know what that is as an adult i'm sure you know what that is right that i'm really not familiar with okay well then let's look at it this way let's do some critical thinking right red in my head and i'm sure in your head means power correct because i know when i wear a red shirt to work i feel powerful it's to draw attention so i look at it i google it

and what comes up the marxist 21 website comes up which is socialism kids are smart you all know that they're going through their chromebooks maybe not your chromebook but their personal chromebook at home and they can google things and they do google things i don't want my american child believing in socialism because we're a capitalistic country here at least for now hopefully for the future did you speak to the teacher no because what am i going to say to the teacher just like i'll explain why i didn't say anything to the teacher lucy because this is the thing the teachers are being taught what to teach what is she going to say to me i picked red because it was supposed to be power it was supposed to empower the children to write okay great

i get that but you couldn't just use a red background with the white writing on front of it now i have a six-year-old child who's in first grade last week we were at my daughter's softball game she's playing with a little boy babysitting thinking she's big and she goes you have a minute left okay i said where's this kid's mother because he didn't belong to our team she goes mom i don't know where his mother is okay well let's go look she goes i don't know what it looks like what do you mean you don't know what it looks like what are you referring to it's mother no his mother i'm a mother what am i it's all subliminal messaging that is coming out of the school she went to a lutheran preschool she knows

what a mother is had a conversation with her last night her father had a conversation with her is a dad a him or her a dad is a him okay is a mom a him or a her a mom is an it no so now i'm at home teaching my six-year-old that a mother is a woman this is a problem guys i send my kids to you to be educated i don't want some elemental messages sent to them it's not right and it's not fair thank you for your time thank you hi everyone this is april marisco um i i was going to bring up just general things like we know what signs are on the bathroom doors which kind of in a way goes with what jen had just mentioned um is that a

reason why the parents can't go into schools because they're trying to hide things of signs going up posters going on the wall i'm looking at everything that was just shown today and everything is about mental health did anyone ever think that what we're doing to our children right now is what's causing it we're masking our children we're having them six feet apart that that scares a child and then you had brought up saying well in sixth and seventh grade we discussed college that's insane in sixth grade i was playing with barbie dolls did you ever think that what you're doing is what's causing their anxiety what's causing their depression it's insane and it's sick it's bad enough that you guys i know watch the news you've got to know about dei seo crs all of

them mtss it's all critical race theory you're fully aware of that and yet it's still being implemented into the school and if you don't if you think that i'm being foolish and stupid well then it's on west babylon thank you i'm a graduate from here you're the one that gave me to educate myself so now i'm going to be a stupid parent where parents aren't included i won't have that our children are our children we do what we feel is best not the school they're not government run thank you hi nicole mandolia um i just wanted to ask another question it was brought up to at the last board meeting about vaccination sites at the schools and you didn't answer it last time you said you'd answer tonight it wasn't brought up do you have

an answer tonight if they're going to be vans at our schools wanting support there are no vaccination sites that are no no there's not there's not going to be any for sure because i just wanted yes because the world health organization uh has a statement saying the physical presence of the child or adolescents with or without an accompanying parent at the vaccination session is considered to imply consent which scares me as a parent because you're saying no you could say no but no i don't i don't even recognize our country right now this is the united states and it's total tyranny going on under this regime and it's just it's crazy our rights are being taken away and as a parent i don't want to send my kids to school thinking that they're going to

get injected with an experimental vaccine that i don't want in my child's body so do i need to put a letter instead they have on file because according to hosho if you know parents she's going to give us the chance to do the right thing and if we don't she's going to have no nothing else you know no choice but to mandate this because if you thought you saw a push back on the masks that's nothing to when they're going to try and inject our children so we're all we're preparing for it and we're ready so we're going to fight that one dr is going to respond to you we received a family who's going to respond to you we received a question from new york state asking for asking superintendents if you wanted to

um partner to establish vaccination sites in schools and i responded no that was i think middle of october kind of towards the maybe third week of october so we have no plans for any vaccination sites on school property anything along those lines and i want to say i forget which date it was specifically wrote a letter um speaking to that that is a very personal decision right that every family will have to make again first and foremost wearing my mom hat right and then there's also the superintendent hat every mom every dad every guardian right that's a decision that every family member will needs to really make and carefully consider right with their own pediatrician so to answer your question uh directly the answer is no we don't have we have indicated to the state

that we have no interest in establishing vaccination site in west babylon okay i don't know if you have the opportunity to read did you send that out in an email blast no when i send out whenever i send out a letter to the governor's office i don't send it to the community because i address it to the you know i don't know if it's posted on the website okay dr family wrote a letter to the i saw it i saw the letter but you know nothing seems to be they'll say one thing and everything changes so we just hope that you know we're given information and we don't want our rights taken away as parents i can promise you that this board of education would not allow someone to come in and vaccinate your children

absolutely not not i just wanted something really quick that's this different topic my oldest goes to school here and the bathrooms there's no paper towels in any bathroom you need to address that with the principle with the principles it works there's no things that are working there's no so nothing you need to address that with the building principle and then that'll come to us in a different channel so it does come to you eventually everything the kids you want everybody to be clean they appear well instead of washing their hands um please at the end of this meeting if you have a moment i'd like to know specifically which bathroom right because i i i'm not aware of i'm sorry ma'am since it's a serious topic that you just raised right i'm not aware of

everything not working everything not being functional right as you just described so if you could if you have a moment right after this meeting share with our assistant superintendent exactly which building exactly where so that we can address specifically um the concern raised okay thank you very much and again we have a chain of communication with phone numbers and email addresses right so just want to make sure everyone is aware that if you have a concern you don't have to wait two weeks right for a concern there are multiple layers there of people who are responsible for addressing those and we want to make sure that those are addressed immediately i'll be short this time i promise my name's sean farris you guys know um i'm here because uh two weeks ago i dropped off

information to the board regarding scl diversity equity and inclusion uh and some of the specifics that were being implemented or suggested to be implemented by the state of new york based off of nysed statements statements through boces and such i just want to bring to the attention of the board and to the folks here just in case because west babylon taught me always be a good student and do your homework right so i've been looking into panorama education which is the firm that the fbi and the doj are protecting because of familial ties uh and this uh organization panorama ed uh has been the reason why the power hungry attorney general has referred to parents in this room as domestic terrorists which i know you folks do not believe is true but i i would

like to point that out and on panorama's website it does make mention of mtss and sel and diversity equity and inclusion and a lot of these uh a lot of these systems and a lot of these uh new plans and schemes are potentially nefarious by nature whether or not it's executed this way in this district remains to be seen i hope that there is no systemic issue with regards to what jen brought up here but for those who don't know that fist has been used by black lives matter because black lives matter has explicitly stated that it is an inherently marxist organization that fist is a marxist symbol that fist is soviet marxist propoganda that is dangerous to be teaching children of any age let alone sixth grade now i am not going to point

to that and say that this is what is happening in every single classroom here but the fact that it's happening in one classroom means it's happening in too many classrooms and it needs to be stopped because that is not appropriate nor is it helpful or constructive to build unity in a community to build unity in a state and to build unity in a nation to send out propaganda that is responsible for a government that has been as oppressive and genocidal as any government has been witnessed in the history of the world this needs to stop now what i've been saying since the middle of august is that it's seeping in and i've been told i'm crazy not by you i've been told i'm nuts it's seeping in we've got proof it needs to be fixed

and next time two weeks from now i might have more information about inappropriate conduct that a west babylon employee has been engaged in but i'm doing more homework before i make any accusations upon that and lack of discipline thank you can i just suggest that if you do have information on somebody that you not bring it to the public meeting they will not know names no i cuz i can't allow you to say any names but i understand you would need it to bring it to mr hanley okay that's fine okay that's fine excellent thank you if i could just add um any employee that's not doing something appropriate we want to know who the employee is so that we can address it right i can't address a situation with a particular individual if i

don't know the issue and i don't know the individual that we're referring to so any parent right anyone right in terms of the community that has a specific concern and i'm just going to repeat it again if it's serious enough to bring it up then it's serious enough to follow through with all of the details so that the appropriate individuals in the district can then address the situation right if we talk in general terms if we don't bring up a specific individual right who is doing something inappropriate in the district then i can't handle that and i can't tackle that so please again this goes across the board right you know and that's why i think this is campus nano indicating beforehand you know did you reach out to the teacher well no right or

any of those pieces if we don't bring them up to the appropriate individuals regardless of what the topic is of concern it cannot be addressed you know so again i urge you this topic or any other topic it is our obligation versus parents and also obviously as individuals right to reach out to the teacher the principal right and specifically bring up the concern so that then we can appropriately address it because this form here isn't where it gets addressed thank you i have to say i've never seen a better behaved audience of domestic terrorists god help us okay i need a motion to adjourn kathy second ray all those in favor looks like we all want to go home thank you ladies and gentlemen you
