001Heat. Heat. Hello, good evening everybody. Welcome to the Tuesday, December 9th, 2025 board meeting of the West Senica Central School District. If I can begin with the pledge, please. If I can have the students from East that are here to present come on up and have you guys lead us in the pledge. I pledge algiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands. One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. >> Thank you. >> Okay. We'll start with roll call. Uh Loren is joining us remote. I think she's in Alaska, Australia. No, I'm just kidding. Loren, here. >> Hi. >> Hello. Are you okay hearing us all and everything? >> Yes. >> Great. Thank you. Jeremy >> present. Sarah will be joining us

002shortly. Laura, >> present. >> Thank you. Charlotte, >> present. >> Adam, >> present. Thank you. Ryan, >> Cal, >> Zach, >> here. >> Mara, >> present. >> I'm here. Dr. Ker >> here. >> Excellent. Thank you. Um, we will do our school spotlight. I'll hand it over to you. >> Thank you. It's my pleasure to uh introduce folks from East Senior tonight who are our featured school spotlight. We have Mr. Winnicki, the principal of East Senior, joined by several students who he will introduce uh under the direction of Naen Okasio. And it's my pleasure to turn it over to them and to welcome E Senior. Thank you, Dr. Krueger and Board of Education for this opportunity. Um about 11 years ago now, we sat as a collective group about what we could do to give

003back to our community. talk through ideas and at the time we were going through some pretty intense training on CVY's habit seven habits of highly effective teens integrating it into our English nine curriculum and the kids kept asking us well what can we do um how do we show this out in the community and so Mrs. Okasio along with Dr. Cervone who was principal at the time and I was with was when I was the assistant principal kind of talked about an idea of giving back to the community and the name Trojans take action uh was born. May 20th of 2016 was our first day that we did it. Um and so there was a lot of planning leading up to that day because I looked back at my old emails today when it was

004first proposed uh the date. So Mrs. Okasio I know is going to talk a lot about the history and the purpose and the planning of it. So um she is I guess this is her brainchild. She is the driving force behind it. Um she has put in countless hours over the last decade planning uh sites, busing lunches. I've learned more about how to put these big events on just by watching her. Um, we've had sponsorships with um, you know, Mark Croachi when when he was with us after we had prom at his place at the Statatler back in the day. So, we've had a really great experience over time, but she will tell you in much more detail than I could ever ever uh, put together. and the kids will give you their perspectives on

005what a great opportunity this has been for us to give back to uh the community um for all that they give us. So, I turn it over to Mrs. Okasio um to kind of give you some background here. Go ahead. >> Good evening. I apologize for running in so late, but I was um over at East at another meeting presenting, so I couldn't have timed that uh better, but I would did have Officer Maloney's name right on the tip of my tongue as I was coming here. I was like, "Oh, I think I'm doing everything." Um, so I do just They're going to put the We do have a presentation. I don't think it's up. Oh, there we go. I need to hit that. That's why. So, I do have some students here with me

006tonight. They're going to give you their testimonial of what Trojans's Take Action is like from their daily perspective. So, I have Jamir Valentine, Kyla Taylor, Aiden Frankino, and then I have Ava Knisser as well. So, we're going to hear from them in just a moment, but I did like Mr. uh Wiki said, I want to give you a little bit of a history and where it came from. So, what is Trojans's Take Action? It is, as he mentioned, our day of service. So, as many of you already know, I was a school board member for Sweet Home School District. They used to do a day of service there, and I'm like, "This is so cool." So, if any of you know me, you know, this is who I am. I cannot believe in civic participation

007more than I do. Um many of you have been um have have come to my participation in government presentations or you've heard about them from your students and they will tell you all the things about how much they love to present, right? And all of the projects that they do are really wonderful, but that is just my that's my belief that we all need to give back to our community. And so I approached Dr. Ceronia and Mrs. Krueger and I were talking about this the other day like what how did this start and it usually starts with a conversation that goes like this. I have an idea and then the idea comes out. So that is the history of how it started. Mr. Wiki gave you more of that uh about the date. So we

008will have our 10year anniversary actually to the day this year because it will be May 20th of 2026 in this coming year. So what a way to celebrate. What does that day look like? It is a pause in the school day, but we feel like it is a very worthwhile pause. And I say that and uh and meaning that the kids come in, they literally have attendance taken and then they're broken into groups. It is not just me. There is a committee of people who go and work and put this day together. We're broken up. Um, there are people who focus on the forms for collecting sizes of t-shirts because we do get t-shirts and we have them here for you tonight for you all to have a sample. But we um do get t-shirts

009so that the kids when we are out in the committee people community people know what we're there for. And then we um deploy to the buses. Um we have a committee that finds all the sites that we have a committee who finds donations. Um myself I try to focus on the monetary donations that help us pay for this day because um we have not in the past um had the district pay for any part of the day. We we typically raise that money. And then um we have an individual who finds some food donations to make it kind of special for the kids when they come back. And then when they come back, it is a day that is their celebration. We deploy buses at 9:00. We arrive back on campus somewhere between 12:00 and

01012:30. The kids have lunch and it's kind of like a field day that the elementary schools have. It's a field day for the kids to celebrate all the hard work that they just did. It is always a day that I look at Mr. Wiki and I'm always nervous like is it going to work? And then every time we look at each other at the end of the day and we think about the learning that actually just happened in our building and that learning is um what the kids are going to talk you to you about. So I have did who wants to go first? Okay, Ava Kissner is going to talk to you first. So, I've been to many, many places with um Children's Take Action. I've been to a church. I helped clean out

011their um gymnasium. I've been to Alleyway Theater downtown. And we helped them build set pieces. We helped them clean the rooms. And it was something that like not one person could do. And we got it all done in one day. And it was so like it was like remarkable to see how like something could be so changed in just a short period of time. And last year I started as a leader for the freshman. So, we do um fresh start mentoring program at our school and we meet once a month with all the freshman students and we like teach them the the seven habits of highly effective teens and then at the end of the year we all go together to do children's take action and it just it feels so good to help your

012community and it also teaches them the leadership skills and everything that we've been learning to build up to this. It's that's like the end goal and it just feels so good. >> Oh, I'm a senior by the way. >> Thank you. All right, you're gonna go next. Introduce yourself and tell them what year you are. >> Uh, my name is Jir Valentine. I'm a senior. Uh, but unfortunately, I've only gone to East for three years. I went to St. Francis my freshman year. Uh, coming to East. Uh, I didn't know what Trojan take action was my sophomore year. Uh the first time I went, I can't honestly remember the place, but we helped and we set up for something and we um we helped plant and build and it was just nice seeing everybody come

013together as one and a group and being able to do something that's positive and to change the community. And it was honestly just, you know, like a brotherhood, family. It was just something bringing us all together that influenced everybody to do good for at least one day. and the events after the fun, the games, it's all like a reward for uh hard work and helping out the community. Uh last year I went to the Southline Fire Hall and we helped set up for their convention or and then we made coupons and tickets and we like it was like what feels like a 100,000 tickets that we all like sectioned out and it was just fun. you know, we went to an environment that's normal for a few of students in our group cuz they uh

014work there or they're always there and they let us into their world and it was just a fun experience for everybody. You know, not uh getting out there a lot. It's a nice experience, a nice change, being able to be with classmates, peers that you might not hang out with a lot, being in a group, it just brings a family together, you know, it's like a nice tradition that East has. >> Thank you. >> Great. And next you introduce yourself and say what? >> Hello, I am Aiden Frankino and I'm a senior. I'm >> Kyla Taylor. I'm a senior. >> For my freshman year, we went to Oh, we went to a park and we helped put new wood chips into the park to help give kids like a new place and better place to

015play with. Um, in freshman year I went down to Canal Slide and we just like cleaned up the parks and all the garbage and everything. >> And then sophomore and junior year me and Kyla both stay at the school. Sophomore year we helped paint our snack stand for our class making like it look better and that. And then junior year we stayed at the school, helped set up like the bouncy houses we have, the food, help all the people come around. And for it's just so great seeing people just come together and help like everyone. And for our pig project, we went to the friends of night people and helped people who do not have a meal and help make the food. We checked them in, gave them clothes and deodorant, and just going there,

016me and Kyla, it's just so amazing to see everyone. And I can't even comprehend what our whole school would have done cuz we also go there for children to take action. I think it's just such an amazing thing that we do. And I can't wait to do it again this year. >> Kylie, you went to Friends of the Night. >> I did. Yeah. >> For for Trojan Action last year. That's why you guys went back, right? >> Yes. >> Okay. Thank you guys. Thank you all. You did a wonderful job. >> So, as you can see, there are a variety of sites that the committee works on securing. Typically, we deploy somewhere around 47 groups of kids. Kids are always obviously escorted by adults. And this has throughout the history of Trojans take action, we

017have learned a lot of things. At first, we were assigning groups to places. There's now a little bit more choice that's involved. You heard from Ava about going downtown to Alleyway Theater. That was a site that Mr. Fua and Miss Brooks found for the kids because it would have value to the kids. So that is what we have started to do now is try to find sites that do have value for kids with the adults and then the kids also get to pick a group. So now they're going out with their friends and they seem to be liking that. Um just they like that a lot as well. I am not. There we go. Um, so you've seen some pictures of the days. I don't know if there's any questions for Mr. Winnicki or myself

018or the kids. >> Adam studying over there. You got it. >> Okay. Pictures are great. Um, I don't have any com uh I don't have any questions, but I have a comment. Watching you guys talk about going out there. The smiles on your face is like it's amazing. Like I know a lot of people like that have to go out and do work. They're not going to smile about it. I'm watching you guys talk about it and I I just I love how much you seem to have enjoyed it and when I've seen on the community the people talking about this project every year like I love it. I love hearing about it and I just it's what a great thing. >> Thank you, Mr. Vedant. We really I mean I think it's brought a

019lot of culture to our building, closeness amongst the kids. Um and you know sometimes the kids don't really realize because it's always been there for them. So that it's just something that's ingrained at E Senior and we're very I'm very fortunate that even with the new superintendent coming on board, you never know, right, what's going to happen with something like this. So I'm I'm so grateful to the board and Dr. Krueger for allowing us to keep up this tradition and to Mr. Winnicki for keeping it alive as well. So thank you all for listening. >> I just have a comment also. Um, I was previously on the board at Southline and the kids from East would come for Trojan Takes Action Day to Southline to get the fields ready and paint the snack stand and

020get the bathrooms up and running. And um, after seeing some of those kids graduate, they've come back to now volunteer in the organization. So, it's great to see that come full circle. >> Thank you for that. That's that's so great to hear that they're they're still out there. So, >> thank you very much for that. Any other questions? Thank you all very much for listening tonight. >> Thank you so much. >> Yeah, we'll leave them with Melissa. We have a variety of sizes and then this way you can >> move on to our school spotlight. No, our student Jeremy, you got you're you want to move Lorine around? Hi, Lorine. Okay. Um, we're gonna move on to the student exeicial board member report. Charlotte. >> Okay. So, for this month, well, actually last month, our

021holiday can food drive winner was Miss Smith. She we raised over 2,000 cans. Uh, a second place was only nine cans away, just to put that out there. Uh to encourage a lot of holiday spirit, we've started a hallway decorating competition. So each class is assigned a hallway and their task is to decorate the hallway withever whatever theme they would like and that's actually taking place right now. Um so if you want to stop by senior and look at all the decorated hallways, the judges will um discuss on Monday, decide who they think is the better hallway. And then we also have the hallway of trees. So every club or teacher um or even department gets assigned a tree and they decorate the tree in whatever their theme is, their colors or just to you

022know have holiday spirit. We also have we have our East Miss uh theme days which is from the 4th of December to the 19th. So it's 12 days of theme days. It started last week Thursday. Today was crazy plaid. And then our upcoming events at East Senior, our winter concert is December 17th at 7 PM. At East Middle, it's December 10th and December 16th. And then at Clinton, their chorus concert is December 10th. >> Thank you. Who are the judges for your hallway thing? Do you know? >> The custodians. >> Nice. >> And the clerk. >> She also present. >> I'm just I'm just trying to figure out who I got to talk to to get, you know, certain people to win. nomination part. >> I'd love to be part of it. It sounds really

023cool. Um the tree thing is neat, too. I'm assuming you guys get pictures of that stuff and get it online or share it. >> They say yes. >> Awesome. Thank you. Cal, would you like to top that? >> Can't wait. Our food drive was won by Miss Batazesi aka Scrret. Hers was a blowout by hundreds of cans, I'm pretty sure. Um, last Friday both students and staff participated in the cool school challenge which is part of a larger event you may know as Polar Plunge. In total, $700,000 was raised for the Special Olympics of New York. Over the weekend, Westfed hockey started the season two and 0 and Nick Leella put up nine points in two games, currently leading section six. That's five goals and four assists. Tomorrow night on both sides of the district

024is academy night where freshmen can learn about the academy programs that are offered. And next week on Thursday and Friday, National Honor Society is leading Sand on the Bridge, which is an opportunity for students to have snacks, get hot cocoa, take pictures with costumes, and other winter attire. And the money from that raised goes back into the National Honor Society. Kale, I really like the shot off. >> Yeah, >> thank you. And we'll top that with Director Ker. >> Thank you. Before I jump into my superintendent report, I just wanted to make a few remarks about the package that each board member has. That is just a small gesture of appreciation that I hope you could enjoy it by yourself, but I thought maybe you could enjoy it with your family because um >> being

025a board member is a tremendous commitment of time and I recognize that your family sacrifices so that you can be here. It's a night away from your family where your significant other or children u may be without you. And for our students, it's it's time in your already busy schedule where I'm sure otherwise you'd be home studying or spending time with family and friends. So, I hope you enjoy that. Just a small gesture to thank you for all that you do for the students and our entire school community. >> Thank you. >> You're welcome. >> And Loren, um it's a shame you're not here. I'll take care of yours for you. >> Happy to highlight some amazing things that have happened um over the course of the past month. First, I'd like to congratulate and

026recognize our very own Zack Armstrong, board member, who was recently recognized as being Erie County's citizen of the month. Lindseay Luriggo recognized him with this honor in recognition of all that he does for our community in addition to a number of volunteerism um efforts leading toys for tot drives and breast cancer awareness and suicide prevention efforts. So, congratulations, ZACH. AS WE approach the midpoint of the school year, throughout the month of January, I'll be meeting one-on-one with our building principles and also with our strategic planning committee where we will be doing check-ins and status checks on the goals that we've outlined for the school year. And one um early celebration that I wanted to share with you comes out of East Middle School um who has identified a school goal as reducing their chronic absenteeism

027rates. Chronic absenteeism is defined as a student who misses 10% or more of their school days. So the equivalent of about 18 days of school or more. And I have summarized for you after COVID, postcoavid, many schools struggled with the attendance of our students, having students regularly come to school, regularly engage in their schoolwork. And uh with the help of East Middle School's team, we've highlighted their chronic absenteeism rates, which postcoid was just about 25%. and they have decreased that with laser sharp focus on uh having students come to school and be engaged. This year for the first months of school they are at just about 11 point it's 11.4% their goal they're striving to reduce that to less than 10%. Um so I asked Mr. Marioli to share with our administrative cabinet what's the

028secret to your success? What are you doing? And they highlighted some of the efforts that they are making. They are encouraging all staff members to make one positive phone call home to a parent or guardian each week. And they have a number of recognition and incentive programs in place to really incentivize students to come to school and rewarding students at each fiveweek interval for those students who have stellar attendance. Uh so Jason Marioli and his team was able to share that out so that we can try to replicate some of the efforts that are proving to be impactful at at East Middle in some of our other schools. I wanted to highlight also that we recently had some honor society uh inductions. We had a national honor society induction on November 19th at West Senior

029and at East Senior we inducted students into Roappa National Honor Society which is a social studies honor society. So I wanted to certainly recognize our scholars for those accomplishments and recognition. We also recently had a DARE graduation. We recognized our students at West Middle School, the sixth graders who participated in and graduated from the DARE program. And on the east side, East Middle School will participate in the DARE program and graduate from DARE in the spring. Congratulations to those students. Wanted to thank uh the efforts of Franco Deasqua and the academy program for recently hosting an academy career breakfast. They had one last week and one again today where our students got to learn about a variety of different careers from professionals in the field. It was um I would liken it to speed dating.

030Our students got about five minutes at every table and there was a different professional at the table. One that got rave reviews was our very own Mick Bar um who shared some stats about the buildings and grounds department. But more practically for our students, they got to learn about civil service and civil service requirements. what does it take to uh be considered for a competitive position and to learn about civil service testing uh that is part of the process in Erie County. So it was a rich morning where every five minutes our students were engaged with a different professional and got to ask them corre questions about their career and their journey into that career. So it was a really authentic learning experience for our students. So many thanks to all who were involved in

031that. Uh we also had some fall fitness and fun. Uh we had a turkey trot at Allenale and the annual inflatable the great inflatable race at West Elementary School which I think you can find the video on our Facebook was rather hilarious. And East and West Middle School students had a wicked time. Do you like what I did there? I had a wicked time seeing Wicked at Shayes. our students from the drama club at both East and West Middle School. It was over a hundred students that participated in this and got to see uh the live stage production of Wicked. I wanted to recognize our volleyball team. Um they had a tremendous season. They made it to the Far West Regionals, which is the equivalent of the Final Four in New York State. So, congratulations

032to them. Their season just wrapped up. They went um well into when the winter season actually started, but a tremendous year and we congratulate them on their success. And then as Kale mentioned um just on Friday we had over 50 students and also three very brave administrators, Mr. Winnicki being one of them, Mr. Brinker and Mr. Lanigan who participated in the Polar Plunge. As Cal said, uh, regionally we raised over $700,000 for the Special Olympics. Our very own team of students, faculty, and staff raised $12,565. So, congratulations to those brave souls. And then I just wanted to highlight, as Charlotte mentioned, some upcoming events. It's a wonderful time of the year to be in our schools and to experience the richness of our music programs. I've highlighted some of the upcoming concerts, but please do

033visit our website where we have a complete listing of all of the concerts that are taking place in our school and also to remind everyone of the upcoming winter recess. Our last day of school is Friday, December 19th, and then school resumes on January 5th. Okay. Thank you. >> Thank you. I will um now move on to public comments. Is there I'll start reading. Um, the board will now entertain public comment for 30 minutes with each speaker given three minutes when called. Please step please step up to the podium and state your name and address. Please be respectful in your comments and do not divulge any personal or confidential information. Ken, Mr. Thompson. Okay. Well, there's no one else on the list. So, I will throw it out to everyone here if anyone else would

034like to come up and have any questions or comments to address to the board that we can hear. Okay, great. We'll move on to our personnel. Can I just Thank you. If I can have a motion on number three, please. >> I'll make a motion to approve three. >> Mara, motion to approve. May I have a second? >> I'll second. >> Laura, second on that. Any discussion? >> Well, I just was curious for the assistant uh supervisor of transportation. Are they going to be certified to drive bus as well? >> Yes. Although we would hope not to have that person in that capacity, but yes, that is the intention. >> Excellent. And if um if the board notices and I appreciate this Melissa very much, we're referencing um when we've discussed this when in our

035updates. So when we're looking at the agenda, we want to go back and take a look, it's there. Um so thank you Melissa. It's great. Uh, all in favor? >> I. >> Anyone opposed? Okay, passes. Second zero. Number four, the consent agenda. Make sure I got everything. Yep. Number four, consent agenda. Uh, we do not discuss that. So, if I can just have a motion on the consent agenda. I make a motion to approve. >> Jeremy, motion to approve. May I have a second? >> A second. Ora second on that. All in favor? >> I. >> Anyone opposed? Passes 70. And wait. Okay. Lisa, if you could please. >> Sure. >> Take over. >> Thank you. I would like to invite Dr. Shioone to come up. Uh the board just took action on a number

036of personnel items and we'd like to pause for a moment for some recognition of the items uh that the board just resolved. Thank you, Dr. Krueger. First like to recognize well on National Special Education Day, it was December 2nd, but uh uh we could thank these people each and every day that work with our students with some of our greatest needs. So, thank you for all that you do. Uh we have a tenure appointment tonight. We are excited. We have three tenure um recipients uh present tonight, at least that I'm aware of. uh tenure obviously is uh a milestone in your professional career reaching uh permanent status. Uh first uh one of our very own administrators, Katie Poniovani. Katie, you stand up. Uh Katie is our assistant principal at West Middle. I will just say

037in my time working with Katie, she is such a strong advocate for her students. Uh and we have a whole fan club here. Wow. Katie, congratulations. And we have Rachel Cook in attendance. Rachel, please stand. Uh Rachel is um is a special education teacher uh here at West Elementary. Rachel, you started with us at the before and after school program. Then he did some subbing with us. Uh you joined by anyone tonight? >> My boyfriend, Jacob. >> Jacob, we appreciate it. Um Rachel, congratulations on YOUR TENURE APPOINTMENT. AND WE HAVE A SCHOOL MEDIA specialist or as often referred to as a librarian, uh, Marie Drake. Marie, please stand. Uh, Marie, uh, not only being a a school librarian, uh, at Winchester Potter. You also, uh, advised the Steam Club, Battle of the Books, uh, and

038I'm sure much more within the building, and we just thank you for your service. And are you here with anyone tonight? >> I am. My husband, David. >> David, thanks for being here. Uh, Marie, congratulations. CERTAINLY congratulations to Danielle as well who is not present tonight. But also um my understanding uh is we have none of our appointments are here tonight. If you are please wave your hand. Um well if you're watching at home congratulations and welcome to the West Senica family. >> Thank you very much. >> Excellent. Okay. So now what we're going to do is we're going to take a short recess. We'll throw a 10-minute timer up on the screen and at that point, Jeremy will yell at me and we'll start the meeting again. See you in about 10 minutes. Thank

039you. Okay, we're going to move on to number 10. Um, but before we take a vote on that, Dr. Krueger wants to explain the New York State Alps program. Um, so if you want to take over. >> Thank you. So, the resolution before you tonight would be a required step for the board of ed uh to take in order for us to participate as a district in the New York State Helps program. Helps is an acronym that actually stands for hiring for emergency limited placement statewide. It was something that was launched in the state in 2023. However, only recently Erie County participated in it. And what the HELPS program allows is for us to have much greater flexibility around our classified positions, those civil service positions that traditionally have been competitive positions, meaning someone has

040to sit for a test, a civil service test, and were limited by that civil service test to hire an individual off of the list. This helps program recognizes that in many cases there is no exa a no existing list. The list has been exhausted and also the state or county does not have any upcoming test that's being offered. So it has really hamstrung school districts, municipalities because there just aren't enough candidates available for us to to fill some of these positions. We have seen it locally in positions like custodians, head custodians, all of our clerk typists, including senior clerk typists. And what this helps program allows if the board passes the resolution tonight is that it gives us flexibility to hire qualified individuals for these vacancies, whether or not they have taken a civil service

041test. And once the individual demonstrates their skills and qualifications through their probationary period, they can earn permanent status. So it would be possible for someone to earn uh permanent status without ever having sat for a civil service test. Um it's intended to be uh temporary in nature, but there is some conversation that it may be extended because I think statewide everyone is recognizing that many of the tests are antiquated and outdated. We our senior clerk typists are not doing shortorthhand and things of that nature which are still elements on civil service tests. So the antiquated nature of it um is something that's also under review and discussion. So, just wanted that background on what it means uh with the board taking action on that tonight and that truly it could um really allow us to

042recruit different candidates for positions. So, I think it's also good that we're publicly sharing that information because people who might otherwise not believe that they are qualified to work in a school district may now be a candidate to apply for a position. >> That's great. Thank you. >> You're welcome. >> Before we actually take a motion on 10, Loren, are you good with us? Okay, great. Thank you. Uh, may I have a motion on new business? I'd say all of 10. >> I'll make a motion to approve all of 10. >> Laura, motion to approve all of 10. May I have a second? Yes. Thank you. Okay. Discussion. Anything that anyone wants to discuss in any of this? >> Yeah, I'd like to just kind of piggy back off of what Dr. Cruz said. The

043only thing I guess I have a question. Well, one thing I have a question on. I was trying to do a little research on the the helps program and it appears that even if there is a list, you could still hire somebody that is not currently on that list. Um, I think that would be bad practice um on our part. I feel if somebody already put the time in and took the test, they should get kind of like a preferential uh spot at the table just because I mean they obviously really want the job. They put the time in, they signed up, they took the test, passed it. Um and then my other concern is uh when Mick did because this is mostly gonna you know follow CSEA realm uh when he did his presentation

044he wanted the positions to be kind of career path thing. So somebody may start out as a a cleaner or laborer and he wants them to be able to be here longterm and work their way up the ladder. Um, I don't want this to turn into friends and family of current workers. I would like us to give preference to people that are with the district already and wanting to climb that ladder rather than just always work and open it up to anybody and everybody. I I think it's fine to still accept applications, but once again, I think preference needs to go to our current employees that wish to climb the ladder rather than stay in the position they're in. So, I don't know if that's something we can talk about having a policy on, but

045I mean, I'm in support of this because I've seen we've seen it in the town where we've had issues with tests, but um I think we need to do a little bit more um to kind of protect our employees and or people that actually put time in have taken the test. >> Excellent. How would um you know, like you said, as far as policy or best practice, how would we best approach discussing that further? Um, I'm assuming if we approve it tonight, they're still allowed to have discussions on it and everything. As far as our >> Sure. What what my recommendation would be is if the board is supportive of us having increased flexibility around hiring that we go forward with the resolution tonight. If there's nuances of that that the board collectively would like

046us to consider, then give me some clarity and direction and and I will work with Dr. Cerone on the implementation of that. what does that actually mean in practical terms for considering candidates and how we may um give consideration to someone who's on a civil service list versus another candidate who may not be on a civil service list. Um but if that is if that's the direction from the board then I would take that back and work with Dr. Cervone on what does that mean from an implementation and a practical standpoint of things. >> Okay. Do we do we know if um if Boseies has a policy or if they're developing a policy specific to this? >> I have not seen any policy revisions. We get alerts their policy pulse they call it. Um we

047get alerts and updates when they have revised policies and released policies. Uh I have not yet seen anything but we can inquire with them. >> Okay. Jeremy, if it's okay with you and all the rest of the board, if we um you know, we'll do our vote and everything and uh we could maybe add a discussion on one of our work sessions. >> Yeah, I'm in support of it just because we we tunnel as well. It's just um I I just don't want to see uh you know us having people that have already put the time in work for the district kind of get pushed aside. I guess I I'm not accusing anyone or saying it's going to become a friends and family thing, but it's possible it could at some point. So, >> well,

048I think you raised a valid point. I think that is why civil service um and and their protocols existed to avoid nepotism that you know through test taking. Supposedly, we are to get the best CA candidates. I think in practical terms that's not always the case. a a good test taker or a poor test taker may not directly correlate to job skills on the job and in the workplace, but I think that's the spirit of why civil service originated. So, so your concern is is a valid one. >> So, if you want to just add that on to our next work session, just at least discuss a little bit behind it. Thank you. Let's see. So, we're still in discuss. Anyone else want to talk about anything else in town? I know uh you're chomping

049at a bit, but bring up one thing, but I do want to mention we have some trips on here and I really appreciate Dr. Krueger and everyone involved all the way down to running these trips on getting the ball rolling early on them. I think it helps families and kids out a lot. Um I'm sure all of us appreciate that. I know we've talked about it a lot. So, thank you, >> Marley. >> Um yeah, we have several donations that I would just like to highlight here. Um, so we have $1,500 from the Ebenezer United um, Church of Christ to the Reading Rover program for the purchase of books. We have books valued at um, $1634.15 from A to Z Books to the Reading Rover program. We have $1,000 to West Elementary and $860 to

050Allenale Elementary from Orchard Park Taekwondo to be used towards the purchase of new physical education equipment. We have uh 26 Sheffield bike stands valued at um 20 at $2,74 from Go Bike Buffalo to be installed at all 10 of the West Senica school buildings. And we have $500 from the Life Church to the West Senakica Central School District for the use of East Seniors parking lot as an overflow on Sundays for church services. So, thank you all for the donations. They're um very helpful and much appreciated. >> Thank you. And I'll note down there the budget calendar. Um if everyone hasn't seen it yet, take a look at it. Um it's very helpful. So uh all in favor on 10 >> I. Anyone opposed? >> Passes 70formational. Move on to our presentations. Looks like we

051got a good group of people waiting here to >> give us some info. So um number 12, long range facility planning. I'll hand it over to you. >> Thank you. Um it's my pleasure to I know you've got some familiar faces here in our young and right team, but to introduce you to our team from campus construction who will be our construction manager. So together our construction manager uh working with our architect. We have had a variety of meetings already, very productive meetings. Um it's a been a pleasure working with the team together. And so I'm going to turn it over to them. They will do introductions, but just to give the board um some preview as to the things that we're evaluating to include in the capital improvement project that would go to voters

052in May of 26 as our our next step and also our long range plan. There's a lot of needs in our schools as you will see. So, we have uh the the really hard work of prioritizing and evaluating and the team is going to share some insight as to how we're going about doing that work and some of the things that were uh trying to fit into the scope of the May 26 capital improvement project referendum. So, Tori, what are you going to take the lead? >> Yes, I am. Thank you everyone for having us tonight. So, as Dr. Krueger mentioned, we would like to introduce the campus construction management team to you guys tonight and also give you an update on the upcoming capital improvement project and where we are in the planning part.

053Um, we want to go over the scope, schedule, budget. So, I think most of you are familiar with me. My name is Tori Walzac. I'm from the Yannen Wright group and with me is Brandon Small and Marissa Hayden. And back there we also have Shawn Wright too. And then joining us is campus construction. So we have Nick Humphrey and Dave Vodder and we've been working together with West Senica in planning your upcoming capital improvement project. So if you recall the last update I gave you guys was a presentation on the building condition survey results. So timing wise, this works out really great as you're pursuing your next capital improvement project because we have all this most current up-to-date information from your building condition survey for all your buildings. So how does West Senica select the

054scope for a capital improvement project? Um, and that's what we've been working on over the past couple months and it's about prioritizing the shoulds with the wanttodos. So the should dos are those BCS items, the things that keep your buildings warm, safe, and dry. And the want to do are different educational components that your facility committee have been identified in those groups. So that's education, um, renovated spaces, thinking about air conditioning, rethinking how you use your pools, those type of things. So big picture starting with your building condition survey. Um just a quick reminder that we evaluate all your building condition items by building and it's prioritized by remaining useful life. So one year, threeear, 5year, 7year and each of those items are allocated a dollar amount for replacement. So you can see here on

055this district-wide chart that there is lots of scope to choose from. Um, so as Mick and your facilities might appreciate a $52 million project that solely looks at your building condition survey, um, West Sica has other priorities and needs they want to address to implement those educational needs to improve students experiences at the district. Um, so as we've been going through the scope, um, balancing those two items, the should dos with the want to do, campus has been updating the estimate along the way. So, I'm going to hand it over to Nick and he can give you an update on that. >> Thanks, Tori. First of all, I just want to say thank you to the board of uh, education for allowing campus to to join the team. It's been a privilege over the last

056it's been just shy of two months and we've done an extreme amount of work and it's been absolutely uh great to work with uh your team here. So what Tori just said is that you know you saw on the prior slide there's over $400 million worth of needs or wishes and wants and now our goal is and we've been successful as you can see on this so far to get it down to about just a little over $200 million. We still have a lot of work to do. Um this is just the cover page of our estimate based on each school district. there's each building I should say and we're continuing to work through. We have some great user group meetings. We've had a lot of good dialogue in regards to what is um the

057absolute must and wants um as well as what absolutely can be broken down into further categories. So with that, I'll turn it back over to Tori and we'll talk a little bit more about the next process that we have. >> So how much can West Senica spend on a project is the big question and I like to refer to this slide as your financial cheat sheet. So, there's a couple factors that your business office and financial adviserss look into to determine how big of a project West Senica can do. Um, things like your building aid from New York State, your maximum cost allowance for each building, and the capital reserve, which is essentially a savings account to help offset the local tax impact. All of th those are factored in to determine the project size.

058And right now, it's looking like a 50 million to 56 million project. So, that being said, after Nick's slide of looking at that $200 million, how do we get that down to $56 million? Um, so it's really going to be a lot of continuing working with the West Senica team to prioritize what can fit into this project and realistically what can fit in the next couple projects knowing that not everything is going to be able to fit into this next project. Um, so some scope items that have been prioritized by the district to tackle in this upcoming project is the fire alarm replacement, taking a look at the aging boilers, electrical infrastructure, high school restrooms, and middle school STEM and tech classrooms. Um, some items that are a priority for the district but have been

059slated for a future project would be things like refinishing the Torzo floors, replacing ceiling tiles, um, renovating elementary school locker rooms, Allenale and West Elementary playgrounds, middle school restrooms, just to give you guys an idea. So big picture, um the goal is not just planning the next capital project, but really planning the next three capital improvement projects, which results in a long-term plan for the next 15 years. So I know you're not going to be able to read the scope on this sheet, um but we wanted to share this with you just to show that um you have a plan moving forward and that everything is in one spot. This plan works like a living document. We continually update this with campus and the district. Um, we can add things to the list. Things that

060can't necessarily make it to the upcoming capital project are already slated for the next project 5 years down the road and so forth. So, I'm going to hand it over to Brandon and Marissa and they're going to talk a little bit about that prioritize scope. So, one of the key issues that was raised at the high schools was the condition and the layout of the existing bathrooms. Um the district has expressed concerns about um adequate supervision in these areas. Um and we're we're looking into different options to um to address these challenges. Um we're considering design improvements to create a more modern appealing um toilet room um which may include incorporating gender gender neutral facilities or individual toilet stalls with full height doors, walls. Um you can kind of see in the example on the

061right of the presentation up here. Um that's one of our layouts. Um with this design, the state education department has specific privacy requirements that we have to kind of discuss with them to kind of determine what they want us to do design these bathrooms according to their standards. Um and then on top of that, we also have a new building code that's coming out in January. So that'll kind of add another curveball into this. Um, so keep working through those as we reach out to SED and we'll get some bathrooms designed. Um, and I'm going to turn it over to Marissa for the middle schools and elementary schools. >> Sir, would you mind just elaborating on the new code if I mean just out of curiosity, is it like something super crazy or >> uh,

062No, it shouldn't be super crazy. It's just they haven't put it out yet, so we don't know what's in it yet. So if you bring up some gray areas of what they approve and what they don't approve. Just curious. >> Thank you. So in addition to assessing the BCS priority items at the middle schools, we have been discussing with the district is there a need to maintain four swimming pools in the district. It may make sense to invest in the systems to maintain the pools at the high schools and repurpose the middle school pools as additional teaching space. This would entail infilling the existing swimming pools and renovating the spaces to become STEM suites. The floor plan on the screen highlights a potentially repurposed layout. Um this is including the pool and one of the

063locker rooms which would um create an access corridor to the renovated STEM rooms. And this preliminary exercise has started discussions on what STEM spaces are needed at the middle schools such as a shop space and the possibilities of clean rooms or maker spaces or classrooms. Example project photos included are of middle school and high school technology renovations. um Young and Wright campus and the district will be doing field trips to recent projects to see what other districts um have been prioritizing with technology renovations. And at the elementary schools, a key priority is improving the conditions and the safety of playgrounds. Winchester Potters and Northwood elementary playgrounds are in the most need of replacement. Um and at the site of Allenale and West Elementary, the group has discussed reducing the congestion at the dropoff lanes through

064strategic site work adjustments. Other key needs and wishes include adding staff restrooms at West Elementary and we are looking into repurposing the auditorium at Allenale to become a cafeteria and kitchen and improving cafeteria acoustics at Clinton and Winchester Potter Elementary. All right. So next schedule, right? So we've rolled up our sleeves. We're going through all the scope etc. But also schedule is an important component. So we actually work backwards to forward in the fact that all right when do you want to have a vote? So right now it's tentatively and this is all up for you as the board to make a decision but right now we're targeting a may vote. So what that means is there's a tremendous amount of work as well as legal requirements etc. in order to get to that May

065vote. So, you can kind of see we're in approaching the green box first of the year and we've already started of finalizing the scope and getting into kind of your referendum value that you'd like to put out to the community. Once that takes place, we'll come back to the board with kind of again another update of kind of where we're at with the scope for you as the board to understand where we're kind of at to hopefully finalize the scope. Once we get through that in about February, um there's a whole seeker and legal component um if vote prep we call it that'll lead us up to um the middle of March. And then ultimately, just like your, you know, budget vote with a capital project vote, there's a 45day time frame or window that

066you need to meet for advertisements and everything like that in regards to legal notices. And then we will also have, you know, right before the vote, plenty of public info meetings for the community to understand exactly what the capital project is being proposed as. And that would ultimately lead us to a May vote. Okay. So, I'm going to talk about what happens after the vote. So, what we show up here on is a conceptual schedule for multiple phases. We're not sure if we're going to need three phases, two phases, four phases. Once we get into the design, we'll figure that out. But what I wanted to point out there though is it's approximately two years from now before construction would actually start between everything from pre-referendum, design after design, then it goes to the state

067education department for review. It could take several months there. Then we bid it out for one to two months. submitt start which are getting all the products approved by the design team and then we start construction. So construction for phase one we're looking at 2028 bidding in the end of 2027 and then we'll have another design going on right after the first design is and one reason you might ask why aren't we designing everything at once? Well it allows us to start earlier. If we wait for everything to get designed it's going to take longer for the design to occur. So by breaking out multiple phases we can start work earlier and get work done inside all the buildings. Thank you. >> All right. So just a quick summary for the next steps. Um we'll

068continue to rank and prioritize that scope to get it within the budget limits. Um and also think about those upcoming projects as well. Not just the next one but the next three. Um, and like Nick and Dave mentioned, we'll work through the seeker and shipo process, um, public information documents and work with your financial adviser to finalize the budget amounts. Guys have any questions for us? Just a few things that I wanted to add and thank you so much for the the overview and kind of walking us through the process. Um on the slide where we have our middle school pool renovations where we'd be filling that in. I just wanted to point out in the design there uh it was mentioned that we have to add a corridor. That's because currently to access the

069pool you actually access the pool by going through the locker rooms. So the locker rooms would be condensed in size and we would have then a hallway that would allow us to access those new classrooms. And um if any of you are available on December 16th, we're going to go and visit middle school STEM classrooms at Frontier Middle School and high school STEM classrooms in Grand Island to get a sense of um the the possibilities for those spaces and what innovative classroom spaces may look like for our district. I also love asking the question, what would you do differently? Um what do you wish you had done so that we can learn from from other districts? Uh and then as noted for the driveway and entrance at both Allenale and West Elementary, we feel that

070that is going to be a real critical piece as we reconfigure our schools. Uh those schools will be starting instead of in a tier three four configuration. Those schools will be starting and dismissing approximately 10 to 15 minutes difference. Uh so we will have more vehicles, more bus traffic in a shorter amount of time on the campus there at both Ellenale and Westell. And so potentially adding a third lane so that we could have a car poolool lane that is separate from the two-way vehicle traffic is one of the things that we'd like to accomplish there just to avoid um significant congestion. >> Dr. Is there any way to add a second entrance exit from just here on Orchard Park Road like a secondary one? I I'll let the team respond to this. We have

071discussed it to have another cut into Union Road or I'm sorry, Orchard Park Road. We would need approval for that. Um but anything that the team would like to respond to? Yeah. So, what we would like to do is get a traffic consultant involved. Um, we did this when we were looking at West Senior's parking lot when we reconfigured that and they do a great analysis to figure out the traffic flow on Orchard Park Road there and about how many buses come in and out, parent pickup. They'll take a look at all of that and come back with recommendations to make it a safe circulation. Do they typically go ahead? >> No, because I'm not talking. >> Oh, same thing. Do they typically come back with one recommendation or they come back with like a

072plethora of >> I believe with they'll come back with a couple different ideas most likely depending on what your goals are for it. >> Yep. >> And now I forgive me. I remember um in one of our prior meetings talking about the fire alarms. Yes. Yes. And you have the fire alarm replacement here and a new code. And if we're going to switch them, we have to update everything to meet the new code. >> Is that >> right? Yep. Yep. That's something that the district wants to prioritize. Um, currently the system works, but it's very outdated. Um, so they would like to replace it on a holistic approach. Okay. And then the the last thing that I'll note because we did have some prior discussion around it is uh we did invest in having an

073air conditioning study done and to air condition all of our buildings would be substantial. Um I believe it was $85 million if I'm not mistaken and that would be to air condition every space and every school. So not realistic for us to to tackle at this time. But what we are looking at is can we expand our air conditioning capabilities in large gathering spaces. For example, at our middle schools, our our auditoriums are not airond conditioned currently. And if we were to invest in air conditioning our auditoriums, then that could be a gathering space if a classroom becomes too warm and we have to relocate the occupants. So, we are looking at some key spaces that would be large gathering spaces, but that's likely the the limit to what we will be able to consider

074because even with what you've been presented as the scope, we are well beyond uh a 50 to$60 million project. And so, we we will likely need to make some tough decisions and prioritize what is in this project versus future projects. And before we got too far into that process, we wanted to just bring this to you as here's where we are currently. Do you have any significant concerns, feedback, things that you'd like us to consider as we refine this and and likely pair this down and begin to prioritize this further? >> So, what I I would recommend, go back over it, take a look at it, think about questions, email them to the board, and Dr. Groover to figure out. Um, now is a good time though to ask all the questions as opposed to

075when we're signing the check later on. Um, one thing I do want to ask the air conditioning survey, I'm assuming you guys did the study. >> Yep. It was actually part of your building condition survey. >> I remember my guess on this, and tell me if I'm wrong, it's just the air conditioning all the buildings. It wouldn't necessarily be to efficiently air condition all the buildings. No, it does break it out into different spaces. What your existing system in how it would make sense to incorporate air conditioning into that building. So, it's building specific because each building is different in their HBAC components. >> So, the study went all the way into proper insulation and air ceiling and all that fun stuff. >> Yeah, it's a very in-depth report. >> I know. I know. I

076know. We're not doing the whole building. I was just curious how in-depth it was cuz you can stick an air conditioner in a room and say it's air conditioned but it's got to cool the room down. >> Nope. It addresses how to make it air conditioning while meeting SED standards as well. So SED has specific requirements. It's not like you can just, you know, put in a window cassette unit in the building, you know. So it does take a look at that. >> Go back a few years to our some of our older board meetings and you'll see the other we couldn't hear each other. Um that's great. Anything else? anyone >> are we looking at like all high school bathrooms or are we pri prioritizing certain bathrooms within those buildings? >> It would be

077the the student laboratories that we've prioritized um those that we lovingly refer to as the gang laboratories. So the existing student laboratories and redesigning those spaces. We would like to do all of them if we are able to do so. If if not we may need to prioritize it further. So I mean this probably sounds like a stupid question. Student lavatories are basically all the un all the lavatories that students can use throughout the day, right? That would be the definition of that. Do we have a lot of other non student like a lot of them or >> we have adult laboratories that are really exclusive for faculty and staff use so that faculty and staff are not comingling with our students as as they're using the facilities. So, we do have adult lavatories um

078on each floor, for example, of our high school that are designated as those spaces. >> Oh, just curious. How many I mean, I've been in the school a lot, but how many laboratories do we have? >> Student ones. Is that like 10 or >> Yeah, I know. I just just curious. You don't have to give me a general. I just thinking about if we're doing them, I can't >> I think there's male and female on every single floor. There's some that are for >> and on the first floor more than one generally because that's where your gymnasium auditorium is. So on the first floor I I believe that there's two I'm thinking in in different schools and then one on the second and third floor if I'm not mistaken. But if you want a counter

079to see the floor plans we can certainly >> Yeah. Well and we'll see them. >> Fact checking me it's accurate. Thank you. >> I was just trying to think to myself. I don't, you know, I know those funds when you first walk in by the auditorium, those need to be done, but I was thinking about the I don't think I've really dealt with the other ones in a long time. So, cool. >> Anything else? Um, isn't there some schools within the Western New York area that are currently have plans with the new bathroom or the other? >> Yes. Um, Pioneer Central School District reconfigured their laboratories in a similar model. We actually uh on their website they had some um renderings of what that would look like and we learned a little bit about their

080approval process and they had to redesign what they initially planned. So we're trying to to determine what will the state um allow because there are requirements on bathroom configurations in schools but Pioneer is one that has been a model for us to look at. >> Anything else? Okay, then we will uh we will end that. Thank you guys so much. Appreciate it. >> Thank you all for being here tonight. >> Join us. >> Yes. Thank you. >> We'll move move on to board of education discussion. Um the first thing that we have on the list is school visits. Melissa has sent out an invite, I believe. >> Okay. You You sent out a good chunk of invites. That would be something different then. I'll talk about that in a second, right? I think so. No.

081>> Holiday stuff. Okay. Got it. I thought maybe they were all grouped in there. I apologize. So, once we talk about it tonight, Melissa is she's >> she's uh she's sitting there with her finger on the button. >> Yeah. Um, so the visits, did everyone get the email about it? Does anyone have any feedback? Um, did we have any feedback from you guys on visiting? Did we uh tell them about that? >> So, so just to kind of recap and remind everyone, what we were proposing is we wanted to try a 7:30 a.m. visitation at our high schools and to schedule both high schools in January for a 7:30 start. thought we would try that time if maybe that's uh works with your work schedules to start the day at 7:30 at a high school

082do about an hour tour at the high school and focus on the high schools for January then the middle schools in February and then we would likely pick I don't want to say random times but maybe some mornings some afternoons and try to do our elementary schools later this spring >> figure it's a it's a good place to start um get something going now that we're going to be through, you know, the other little project we worked on first three months or five years of. Um so, does anyone have any feedback on that? And and what I'll throw out there is if if you do want a tour of the high school and you are not able to make that one, just reach out and we'll figure something out for you. Promise. Um is anyone

083interested in that or is everyone here going to check on it and see what they think? I would ask that you can just hit no if you can't on the invite when you get it and hit yes if you can or reach out. >> Cool. Any other feedback on visits? Okay. Um that takes care of uh that part. Anything else anyone want to bring to the board discussion? >> I'll just bring up um the Dr. Krueger's midyear evaluation. So I'm going to send an email after tonight um just kind of recapping what the process is. Uh Dr. Krueger has come up with goals um which I think everybody saw earlier this year and has evaluated her assessment towards uh progress towards those goals. We um tend to use super eval but um as part of

084the midyear process there is no process for formally documenting it in super eval. So I think what I'm going to do is um send over her self assessment and then you guys can each send me feedback and I'll send you the timeline. and I'm asking for it by December 28th so that we can um it'll give me a couple of days to compile feedback and then we'll meet uh as a board to discuss on January 6th um at the exe executive session after our board meeting and then we'll meet with Dr. Krueger on January 20th to formally present that to her. The final eval towards the end of the year will be formally documented in super eval. Um but does that process work for you Dr. Hoover? It certainly does and and the midyear is

085conversational informal feedback which which I'll be looking forward to and then more as you mentioned more formally documented in the super evail system at the end of the year. >> Great. Any questions or thoughts from Okay, great. >> Thanks. >> Thank you. Um let's see. Anything else anyone want to bring up? I got one thing. um not so much board related, but I just wanted to let everyone know I've decided to step down from the SRO position starting January 1st. Um so this will be my last meeting holding both roles. Um I know Ed and Zach were already aware, but I just wanted everyone else to know. >> Well, is that a congratulations? >> Yeah, congratulations or thank you. >> Just wanted you guys to know I'm stepping down from the position. Well, and on

086behalf of E Senior, thank you for your service to E Senior, to our students, to the entire school community. There's certainly big shoes to fill there and uh the selection process for that's underway. Um and so we'll keep you posted on that. >> But thank you. >> Appreciate that. >> Jac did say you wouldn't be able to handle it. >> True. True. >> For real though, >> I have to go babysit him at the station. >> Yeah, that's what I figured it was. Got to keep an eye on him. Um, and the last thing I just want to bring up is uh kind of an ask. Uh, Melissa sends out some great invites. Um, they're pretty I think they're pretty self-explanatory. They're different events that we're having. If even if it's once a week or

087so, if you could just take a minute and go through. I know. Um, if you're not going, like you kind of I look I look at I'm like, I'm not going. I don't care. But there's it's probably beneficial a lot of times just to hit no or even maybe so it like shows up on like, hey, this could be on the radar. Um, it helps with a lot of things. Like I'll I'll go on each day and look at what events are going on and see what board members are going to try to make sure we at least have one um board member if it's something we're expected to be at. I also know it helps with reserving things and we pay for like if you say you're going to a certain thing, we're paying

088for spots. So, um, you know, just I'm I'm asking the whole board if we would just respond to every invite. Yes, no, or maybe. even if it's not immediate, just go through the emails and check it out, please. I think it would make Melissa's job. Uh she's not asking for it to be easy, but she has to put up with me. So, it would just be helpful um knowing what's going on. Um and you know, uh obviously if we do sign up for something and we cannot make it, don't be afraid just shoot me a quick text and we could see if we can cover it one way or another. Um I know the other night we had a budget meeting um and uh like we could there were a lot of people couldn't attend

089um and it may have been more beneficial to know ahead of time so we could find a different time that works for it. So um I'm just just got that ask for you guys. And the second part of that ask is if we are holding meetings that we've especially internally that are hard to make just reach out and we can there's other options. I know we're going to discuss possibly something else for the budget committee meeting. Um, we're going to look at maybe something could help the board members make it if we do at a different time, that sort of thing. So, we'll get feedback on that. I don't we're going to do feedback now or at the next work session um uh on that or were we going to reach out to just the

090committee? >> Just the committee members to get feedback from the committee members. >> So, the committee members um will reach out to that and similar to any other uh items that we do. So, um that's it for me. Anything else anyone else? we will end board of education discussion and um there's going to be no more public stuff going on but we will need to go into executive session. Um so if I can have a motion to go in executive session to discuss the contract. >> I'll second >> Jeremy and Sarah. Uh any discussion on that? All in favor? I thank you. And uh just a reminder we're going to do exec. We'll come back and uh end our meeting, but we are not planning on doing any other public business. Thank you.
