Proposition number two is required by law and is not connected to the school district's budget or educational
002programs in any way, nor does it pertain to the operation or budget of the school district. The inclusion of this proposition on the ballot does not constitute an endorsement by the Cold Spring Harbor Board of Education. Proposition number two is placed on this ballot pursuant to a petition submitted to the school district by the Whailing Museum and Education Center of Col. New York State Education Law section and section 253 allows state authorized museums to place a funding proposition on the school district ballot. Shall the board of education be authorized to appropriate funds in the amount of $150,000 for community educational programs and the operation maintenance and capital improvements of the facilities of the Whailing Museum Society Inc. known as the Whailing Museum during the 2026 to 2027 school year and annually thereafter which sum is
003to be raised by a levy of a tax upon the taxable real property in the Psr Harbor Central School District boundaries. So I'm going to take a motion to amend proposition number two to say that and I have a Bruce a second. All in favor? Now I'm going to take a motion to approve. Can I take all other items as a slate?
