approved. Also to approve the outofstate field trip for the Yria High Jotc up to Michigan. Um the next three we we're trying to do a better job of grouping these so we get them all in at once. So the next three are the field trips to well the first one is robotics. The next one is the 8th grade Washington DC trip and you'll see the next two are the same things from all three middle schools. Then we have an out ofstate trip. You'll see all three to Greenfield Village and Henry Ford Museum. And then we have uh international travel. This is to approve the international field trip with the high to Ireland. If you remember last year, we did this as well, but we then cancelled our approval because we base it on what the

security and safety rating is at that time. We have a policy. So, they know again that that as we put here in the approval that we'll look at that again and uh we'll we'll take it back if if need be from that. Um also then we have a to declare the impracticality of the transportation for the following pupils. And then we have the resignation of a contract with the special Olympics um secretary that was there. And um sorry I'm getting a robocall. Um that concludes my action items. >> Okay. Superintendent report. >> Yes. First of all, uh, piggyback on what, uh, Colleen said, I I do want to say thank you to everyone that put a lot of, um, hours in, um, canvasing, campaigning, um, whatever it was. We we truly appreciate it. Um, I'm going to give a special shout out to our buddy Xander out there who, uh, has just been a force of nature, shall we say, from the student body, and we love to see it when our students want to get involved. And also, yes, Sander, thank

you. This is his second year or second campaign he's helping us with and just a a real neat person to be around, but um we really truly appreciate it. We understand the hardships with the economy right now. We we are very understanding of that, but we also know that um this is the way schools are funded in the state of Ohio. Um, and uh, I'm going to give you one one piece of data, and I said it over and over today in in many interviews. In 1999, when the first Dalph case was uh, found the way we fund schools unconstitutional, um, the local taxpayers were responsible for about 47% of the property tax and, um, it is now up to 67%. And that just shows you how much more our um is being put on

the shoulders of our local homeowners or business owners. At the end of the day, we have to find a different way to fund schools and we need true tax reform. But I do applaud everyone that helped and came out and voted. Um we really truly appreciate that. And if you have questions, please seek us out. um it may be something we can talk about or answer and and help you understand um what the whole financial situation of of funding and and everything else is with schools. So again, thank you. Also a reminder, um this weekend the first school play, The Outsiders, um it is at 7 o'clock on Friday and Saturday and 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. So, we're looking forward to seeing that. Also, next week from 5 to 7, the ELELLL night, I think

it's next Wednesday. Dan, am I correct? Next Wednesday, we have our English language learner night at Hamilton that we will be at. Excited about that. Um, in a couple weeks, Sister Act from the Eastern Heights Middle School drama club. It's the 21st and 22nd of November. Amy, do you know the time on that? Is it 7:30? >> Okay. Both nights 7:30. So, we're looking forward to that. And please put on your calendar December 12th and 13th, the holiday spectacular up at the high school. Um, always a fun concert to go to. And there are many more holiday concerts going on. Please check with the school um calendars and and find out from your child's home school. But really excited. It's a festive time of year and fun to to participate in all these activities. And

that is all I have right now. >> All right. Thank you. Does anyone have any board of education items? >> Yeah, that's one thing. >> Okay. >> I just like to say uh welcome back Maria Friday. Good to see your face again. That's it right here. Just uh today I had the opportunity to speak at the Salvation Army Lurine County Kettle Cohles uh performed and I'll tell you so good, so spectacular. They looked awesome. >> Just everything from the music to the discipline to the continents of the of the young people performing. It was top-notch and everybody uh loved it. Everyone loved it. you were there and uh it was great. It was really great. >> Special group. >> Anything else? >> Okay. Um seems like today was a quick meeting. No executive session. Correct.

>> Correct. >> All right. Excuse me. Do we have a motion to adjourn? >> So move. >> Second. >> I'm sure there's no questions about that. Please call the role. >> Miss Karsten. >> I. >> Mr. Gabart. I >> Mr. Hower. >> Hi, >> Mr. Parker. >> Hi, >> Mrs. Sein. >> I motion carries. Meeting adjourn. >> Thank you.
