001welcome inside Pine Creek High School the rampart Rams taking on Pine Creek this girls basketball game color Springs Metro lead the Rams with the balls we just started action here in the Eagles Jim Bryan driven alongside Dave Toller this is a shot from the outside and goes the first shot of the night and Kennedy REIT is good this sophomore guard gets the Rams on the board this is Jordan Gutierrez bringing it up for Pine Creek gets it inside nice pass over to block down there by Randle the Eagles will gather it and set up the offense [Applause] Gutierrez looks around gets it to low laocoön [Music] [Applause] Martin goes inside against that Ram zone it'll be Brooklyn Thomas from outside can't get it to go off the rim goes out-of-bounds goes over to the Rams
002so going to three-point shots yeah it really is what one goes in one does not and you look at Pine Creek what their offense rampart was really setting back in that zone I thought pine creek zone was a little more aggressive coming out rampart sat inside of it you have to get those outside shots Brooklyn Thomas their leading scorer had a really good look just couldn't get it to go down there's Reid who hit the first one up top to Cayley Ortiz and that is Haley Toit's on back in the corner to reach Skip pass that's Jada Randall inside is the Rams play everyone gets to touch the basketball Brooke Thomas comes up with it gets it to Gutierrez down the lane and she'll be fouled she will go to the line Jordan Gutierrez the
003five nine sophomore guard and the leading scorer for these Eagles almost 11 points a game and good job just going right to the bucket she gets fouled on the play 68% free-throw shooter hits the line first one is good Gutierrez with the shooters touch she led the way the last time these two teams played back in January you mentioned it earlier tonight to me 55 to 32 Pine Creek won that game Gutierrez had 18 points he's got two tonight but the Rams had Lolita three to two this time they'll work it around to read again steps inside the three-point shot nice looking shot for Kennedy Reef she's already got five points she averages six she's got all five of their points and a great job she hit the hit the three-pointer that I like that
004last shot the little mid-range faked the three-point shot put it on the floor and hit the little 16 footer it's up turn over there by the Eagles and the Rams get the ball back with a three-point lead Kaylee Ortiz up top and pine crease couldn't sit back in that zone Rams way out front work it around Randall trying to work inside as is lateness let's shop another three Haley twice on hits that one and the rampart Rams have a six-point lead my frat party shooting like this pine creeks gonna have to come out of that zone at some point here's a steal by the Rams Kaylee Ortiz down the lane blocked by Gutierrez but twice on comes up with it tries to get it to Layton Layton will slow things down come back out front
005[Applause] the wings on the pine creek zone really spreading out like you said little more aggressive defensively they're gonna have to be the way the Rams are shooting the ball early Lauzon skip pass down low to leighton comes right back let me time here in the first quarter in the Rams liking what they see they'll probably take their time on offense with this six-point lead they are and they've been shooting it so well we look at five points already from Kennedy wreath and the last one that was in hit she was about four feet behind that three-point line they scored just 32 points last time they played concrete well they're one-quarter of the way there we're still in the first quarter so good sign for the Rams we got a call here foul inside on
006Pine Creek Italy ran ball underneath as Kennedy read that that went from one corner to the other is a good look at Kennedy right there puts it on the floor gets in the lane and draws the foul Toit's auntie inbound gets it in hat J - Randall but a turnover as she bounced the ball and she was still out of bounds so that'll turn over and come back to Pine Creek rampart setup in that full court press Carlisle back to Gutierrez and she will bring it across the time line probably the best ball handler for the Eagles inside a Martin Martin tied up by the Rams a good job there defensively by reat as well as Layton for the ramp to tie her up but it'll stay with Pine Creek on the possession arrow they'll
007take the ball underneath and in to the game comes Emma Todd for the rampart Rams fort was on pass inside Gutierrez up and in Jordan Gutierrez for Rams eight all four points for Jordan Gutierrez two from the line and that little inbounds play right there a nice job by Gutierrez 11 points a game you can see why she can score in a lot of different ways Randle holds it high gets it to Kaylee or T she drives baseline blocked away by Gutierrez that's her second block of the day but Randall steals it right back the aggressive Eagle defense forces Ortiz to come back out front the Rams will set it up Eddie reap cross-court to Randall Randall tries to get it inside that one knocked out of bounds by Carlisle will stay with the ramps
008about halfway through the first quarter you see after those first three possessions Pine Creek came out and trying to take away that three-point shot forcing rampart to try to get it inside and they're struggling to pass that ball inside that one knocked out of bounds Ortiz right in front of our cameraman down there pass inside reach he makes a nice move by Thomas puts it up can't go Gutierrez with a rebound she's doing the yeoman's work for the eagle so far to Martin on the side back up top nice pass there's Thomas Oh in and out rebound inside by Carlisle and Pine Creek will set it back up but here is looking inside the Rams sitting back in that zone daring them to shoot Janene two big seagulls going to set up this zone offense
009they'll work it around Martin not share the Carlisle nice ball movement here is they get it around to low Laocoon and now Gutierrez up top can't get it to go rebound comes down to the ranks Haley Ortiz to Randall on the side nice fake inside good job count it for Emma Todd checked into the game couple minutes ago she gets a hoop and a half nice play by Todd what a great feed by Jada Randall who faked the shot made a nice little bounce pass inside the bucket goes and at the line shooting one Emma Todd there's another look at it beautiful pass from Randall horn and Emma Todd gets the roll does not draw iron on the free throw pillows back over to Pine Creek ten form little surprise right now Dave earlier this
010year we mentioned Pine Creek came away with a 23 point win there's currently down six at home Martin Brooke Thomas calling forward on the baseline she'll look inside the Rams forced her to pass it in and Kuhn walks with the basketball now checking into the game Kaleigh sheets for the ramps so to be Cayley sheets and Cayley Ortiz up top Kaylee Layton still in the game as well so three Kaylee's on the floor the rampart ramps and a Haley on the bench so it confusing for the broadcast crew okay sorry Ortiz yeah Randall nice pass inside again Emma Todd is there again she's fouled this time the bucket won't go but she'll go to the line for two more and you know she wants another shot at it after missing that first one and another
011great feed by Jada Randall going inside they did it to the to the one side last time they came back to the to this side and they feed Emma Todd she is at the line Oh for two so far at the line tonight and it's was on comes back in this time for Kaylee Ortiz for the Rams and out comes Lola and in did you see who checked in there H Parker the sophomore second shot no good we got a lane violation on rampart and pine creek we'll get the ball 10-4 good buddy Rams with the lead Gutierrez and Martin will bring it up drops back this side time every time they brought it in bounds ramparts ring the full-court press this time they dropped all the way back Brooklyn Thomas it's a tough thought
012carlisle karr lyle now to page parker good patience by coach doback squad here they work it around sometimes you can get impatient when you're down a little bit there's Thomas outside three-pointer won't go the rebound Rance Randall gets it afford to Kelly sheets sheet test was on with her but it's knocked away and out of bounds by the Eagles that will stay with the Rams why rampart really changed up their defense on that last possession they were sitting back in a more of a passive zone that time they came out really pressured pine creek inside Layton twice on Jada Randall backs inside to Emma Todd it kicks the basketball goes out of bounds it'll go over to Pine Creek just joining us the Pine Creek Eagles in whites rampart Rams in blue pine creek moving
013the ball from the left to right across your screen now working the ball look when Thomas she can catch fire she's missed her first couple of shots Gutierrez working inside along with Carlisle and now the switch things up and Janee Juba quants a timeout it's ten to four 133 left in the first quarter Brian German alongside Dave Toller gate will stay right here coach doback wants to keep it here she's wondering you saw a look at her there she's asking them if they're running I'm not sure they're running the zone often they're not we could there's a good look at coach - bacon we could hear yelling what are you running so when a coach is asking what are you running she knows you're not running the right thing and we are in a nice
014job we're really mixing up their zone and the pressure that they're applying but we'll see if they can that Pine Creek can come out get into the offense they want to get into and they've had a couple of good looks already they just haven't gotten anything to fall no we did not see the first game I'm wondering if maybe the zone is something pine creek didn't see in the first game yeah therefore they weren't you know accustomed to seeing rampart played but we'll see now they should be is that rampart zone comes out front and now it looks like they're gonna go man-to-man switch it up on him and that's coach Justin Abbott playing with the minds of the Eagles he knew coach Juba could call the timeout to tell him to get into their
015zone offense and he goes man-to-man I like it love the chess match yep Gutierrez loses the ball picked up there by sheets sheets with a nice move she comes for looks for twas on on the right throws it out of bounds 10-4 but the rams are making money tonight with their defense they have been an early on it was the offense their first three possessions they hit two threes and they hit a bucket they scored eight points on their first three and then the mixing up the defense doing a nice job at the other end of the floor Martin now on the right she'll drive nice pass into Carlisle oh just misses inside Parker comes down with it gets it to Gutierrez Gutierrez need someone to move it's Thomas inside Carlisle she's badgered by the
016Rams defense throws it out nice save by Thomas and Martin is there good hustle by Brooklyn Thomas she gets the ball back Rams inside knocked away again from Carla good job by Emma Todd inside there and the Rams just all over the Eagles on defense here's Wow Gutierrez I thought blocked that shot by Jada Randall I think she thought she blocked it too yeah I think she got all ball but I think she got her with the body as she was moving right in to the shooter so going to the free-throw line Jada Randall 10:42 Randall trying to make this an eight-point lead for the Rams first one just off the left and out and in for the ramzes Hannah Benoit comes into the game checking in for Kaylee Leighton she'll get a rest for
017the first time tonight you look at that 10-4 lead for rampart they've missed their last four free throws if they could hit something from the line be even a little more yeah she better make them 11 for Thomas across the time line took Parker in the corner duty eros back to Thomas nice move inside lost it off her foot though and back comes Ben walk pushing it up two sheets she'll run it down in the corner toss on up top she'll shoot from there good presence of mind by Haley to was on to realize that the clock was running down she gets the shot off but misses and that's the way the first quarter will end 11 of four Rams in the lead at Pine Creek High School will be back with quarter number two
018after this you're watching district 20 basketball on 20 TV [Music] you about to start quarter number two here at Pine Creek High School to rampart Ram 7/11 to for lead in girls basketball Brian German alongside Dave Toller and the Rams really doing it with defense and they've hit some key shots they yeah they really have and they turned up the defense in the second half and limiting Pine Creek to just four points of that entire first quarter battle and blasio checked into the game during that break for Pine Creek and she forces a turnover by the Rams right there let's see if she can help him on the offensive end as well here she is that the freshman Matt Maddy Blasio Thomas with Carlisle inside Thomas being hounded gets it inside Carlisle puts it up
019can't get it to go Lazo runs it down to Martin has it knocked away from behind a great job by Kaylee Ortiz here comes close on against Martin blocked by Martin Gutierrez with the rebound good defense there by Orianna Martin great defense to hustle back get in position not foul and get the block clean Gutierrez across the time line and they're gonna call a block on Kaley Ortiz [Applause] so that'll be the second team foul against the ranch eagles have found four so far here in the first half man pun Creek really got to get some offense going but they really do they've got four points in this game all four from Jordan Gutierrez who has the ball right now and they will play catch way out top Gutierrez with Carlisle there at the at
020the high post sends it back to Blasio and the Rams almost get a steal Gutierrez brings it inside and now it's Martin and blasio up top inside Martin with the spin sends it back to Carla and Bazo looks like they're it's almost like they're any four corners offense here yeah they really are steal great job by Kennedy reach he's gonna take it coast-to-coast can't she get the chippy know goes out and they got that charge a great job by Brooklyn Thomas getting back on defense for Pine Creek it really was and there's Brooklyn Thomas right there get a good look at her but good job that's back-to-back possessions Pine Creek has done a nice job getting back in transition defense setting up one time they got the block shot that time they draw the charge
021but still they've done a nice job defensively they've got to get something on the offensive end I really like what Justin Abbott's team is doing defensively they're really aggressive there's another steal by Jada Randall gets it to Toit's on Toit's on to Ortiz up and it will go but she gets fouled she'll go to the line Kaylee Ortiz the senior guard for these rampart Rams who leads him in scoring about 10 points a game foul on number three Brooklyn Thomas her first Ortiz got the first one twelve to four you were harping on their free throws made their last two Kayleigh Ortiz the senior leads this rampart team nine points per game Thomas will bring it up for Pine Creek and juvik will bring a host of players in at the next whistle blows Oh
022in trouble now gets it to Martin Randle falls down but look at it the hounding defense by the Rams and stolen by Reed again this time she comes in with Blasio behind her can't get it to go Ortiz gets the offensive rebound in the bucket 15 two for rampart you love that pressure that rampart is applying up front and I think that's why we see 3 subs coming in for Pine Creek they may need somebody to protect the basketball especially up top look how far out the Eagles have to start their offense based on that defense the rampart has inside Carlisle outside Thomas shot won't go Randle has it taken away by reat grete took it away from her teammate but it's a good rebound cross-court pass Ortiz will shoot from there can't get it
023to go Thomas runs it down Brooklyn Thomas across half court sizes up the defense now takes it inside lost it Toit's on comes up with it to Randall Randall all the way against Gutierrez she'll put it up and in 17 to 4 [Applause] there's another look I'm just doing them with Defense great job going to the basket Jourdan Gutierrez has played played on every minute and she looked a little tired on that one getting back this game has been up and down you love the way that the the tempo the rampart is playing with a special and defensive end there's a good job by Brooklyn Thomas to force the issue the senior guard for Pine Creek just make something happen get to the line maybe they could settle down a little bit here she makes
024a couple of a couple of free throws but they have not scored here in the second quarter they have it and I think that's the biggest thing just slow things down it was getting a little bit chaotic and I think that was in favor of rampart the way they were turning up the pressure on that defense and Thomas hits the first one first point for the Eagles here in the second quarter for 39 left plazo comes out Carlisle comes out Caroline xamarin comes in Paige Parker shot second shot is missed the Rams will let it go out of bounds off of Sam Hren and now Julie McCutcheon comes into the game for Brooke Thomas and we got another timeout we'll keep it right here 17250 not sure I expected this David before the game and
025rampart would have a 12-point lead in the second quarter to think that these teams met three weeks ago Pine Creek won that game by 23 points so credit rampart that they're doing something that we think it's on the defensive end of course we didn't see that last game but when you look at that score right now Rick fired up 17 to 5 in this game they had 32 points that entire first game 17 already in this one they've done it without side shooting they've done it with defense they've done it with transition offense the Rams getting it done everywhere right now Justin Abbott's really got this team on the upswing maybe they're they're our only win in the Metro League came January 24th so less than a week ago and that was against Palmer a
02649 to 40 to win so getting a little confidence maybe in the Rams absolutely they've lost some close games they've been in a lot of them this season but you know you can see a maybe going in the right direction right now reat misses it and they're gonna call it foul over the back on Kaley sheets for the Rams that's going to be the fifth personal foul against rampart both teams now at that same count team wise 17 to 5 fine Creek see what they can do now the Rams kick back in that zone I say kickback but they are all over those passes on to the wing Gutierrez up top to Parker down low Martin mine Creek swings it around the arrows thinks about it tries to get it inside the job corralling that
027pass by Samri Samri inside Martin no we'll go get your own rebound now Oriana Martin another shot here by McCutchen won't go and a rebound by the Rams they're gonna call foul against Pine Creek a good job by Leighton to get the rebound yeah it really wasn't good not only getting the rebound but protecting the basketball she had three Eagles all around her ends up drawing the foul they called it on the sophomore guard Paige Parker her first of this game they go inside to Layton and an easy bucket falling asleep inside there were the Eagles and Kaylee Layton gets it nice pass great pass that was Ortiz getting inside too late nineteen to five Martin in the corner trapped by the ramps sends it off of one of their legs and out of bounds
028Brooke Thomas will come back in for Pine Creek Jada Randall for the Rams Brianna Martin comes out as does Kennedy reach for rampart 19 to 5 and Pine Creek got to get something going Parker on the wing download of Gutierrez inside Thomas she'll move it inside can't get it to go and we're gonna have a held ball and this time it's gonna stay with Pine Creek well and even when Pine Creek does get a good look and I like the drive in the penetration by Brooklyn Thomas she gets in the lane gets it up they just can't get one to fall they've had a couple of good looks at it but that one right there Thomas puts it on the floor gets inside of that zone gets the shot up and it bounced around just
029wouldn't go down careless Ameren to inbound the ball they go inside Thomas Thomas this time puts it up oh just misses and she will go to the line once again but Brooke Thomas really the only aggressive player so far on Pine Creek exactly that time she just went right down the lane makes a good catch on that ball and just as she was going up for that little short jumper she got pushed on the plate foul on Morgan Ortiz her first Thomas gonna try and chip away that RAM lead got the first one nice she do such there for Brooklyn Thomas and Kaylee Ortiz comes out in comes Haley to us on Thomas his second shot good as well Brooklyn Thomas with three points tonight and my Creek back in that moving zone on the
030side shot up by Morgan Ortiz this one rebounded by Paige Parker and we got a foul inside it's gonna be on Kaley Layton and I believe we might be shooting at the other end and we are there is Caylee Layton Paige Parker will go to the line and if there's ever a way a team likes to get back into a basketball games with the clock not moving absolutely at the free-throw line nobody guarding you the clocks not moving got a shot to make seems easy doesn't it yeah I'm over here it's easy hey Paige made it look easy as well.did [Applause] nineteen eight she cut it to ten right here got the second one nice stroke by the sophomore guard no Pine Creek 7 of 8 from the line in this game Haley sheets up
031top Randle that one a good job defensively probably some pressure by the Eagles forces the turnover by the Rams [Applause] it's a good look at Brooke Thomas get you then bounce through Jordan Gutierrez Thomas Gutierrez the leaders on this team Gutierrez just a sophomore Thomas thought about it this is senior Gutierrez running things at the point of this offense sneaks inside from the elbow can't get it to go rebound ramps here comes Randall she's got Haley sheets down low she thought about it back inside the Eagles wanted a travel on that one they don't get it Gutierrez now on the run brings it up all by herself she'll take it tried to get the pass over to Parker and it's knocked out of bounds it'll stay with Pine Creek not sure what Gutierrez didn't just
032take I thought she was it looked like she was going right to the basket made a little little bounce pass I thought Pine Creek got a little lucky right there it went off a rampart player out of bounds goody eres its it inbound Samra now holds it Gutierrez in the corner nice move she'll take it I liked the aggression though usually you get a foul call on that Gutierrez doesn't get it this time the Rams come back with the basketball it's walls on across the time line - Randall PLAs on in the corner good defense by Sam Hren Randall tries to come inside Paige Parker comes away with the steal she's got Thomas with her gets it to Thomas easy bucket wrist it nice rebound inside Gutierrez can't make it Moran's come away with it
033well that's a tough break for the Eagles Haley Layton it was on but time-out was called by Justin Abbott as the Rams before they got it across the time line so we'll keep it right here 19 to 9 Pine Creek working their way back into they really are they're doing it with defense you can see how now they're turning up the pressure they're trapping players in the corner they're forcing turnovers now once you work that hard and you've forced those turnovers you got to capitalize on the other end and they've had a couple of good looks they missed a layup they missed a foot back so you turn up the defense you work so hard to get that ball and get those layups you got to be able to finish I guess the bright points
034so far besides that defense for Pine Creek is their free-throw shooting six of eight you said seven of eight seven of eight seven of their nine points have come from the free-throw line so that's a good thing but they got to be able to convert they've had a couple of good looks they just haven't been able to finish there's a good look at Jordan Gutierrez Brooklyn Thomas as they come out of the huddle if they continue to be aggressive they will get more calls get some line some more as well and if you're shooting that well you might as well chip away at this lead absolutely but you love the way they turned up the defense rampart got this lead because of their defense and they forced a lot of turnovers they converted Pine Creek
035doing the the same thing and when it comes rampart bringing it over Kennedy Reed back into the game for the ranch up top with Toit's on Skip pass to Randall Randall can't handle it Parker almost came up with it Randall on her knees they're gonna call for a travel the pine creek bench was up streaming it and finally got the call well and you're gonna get those when you turn up the defense or turn up that pressure you make people a little nervous they're not real comfortable and they catch the ball they know they have to make quick decisions and as soon as you do that you get a couple of mistakes then you force a turnover comes for comes bringing it up for the Eagles they try and cut into that 10 point rampart
036leaf Sam run in the corner hounded by Randle try and get it inside to Thomas and we got a foul called and it'll be a one on one for Brooklyn Thomas a great catch by Brooklyn Thomas she was double-teamed on the plane they still tried to go to her down on the block she goes in makes the good catch protects that basket ball ends up drawing the foul on the play Tom's takes her tribbles can't get it to go rebound rampart that's Layton and reap littles it across the time line gets it to Randle tried to pass it inside there's a kick they could have call that against the pine creek Gutierrez it'll be rampart ball on the baseline 43 seconds left here in the second quarter in the first half plus on the inbound
037nice pass inside beautiful job there by Kennedy wreath great job by Kennedy wreath there's a look at her she comes back down but how about the pass by tossing a little no-look pass look into the corner makes a pass right under the basket great look reat almost with the steal Gutierrez gets it to Thomas and an errant pass goes out-of-bounds 21 to 9 rampart ram ball we'll see if Coach Javits tells me to hold for the final shot he's gotta like the fact that he's got this big lead here in the first half loss on Randall fine Creek forces that zone out a little bit Randall inside nice pass to Todd another bucket for Emma Todd and Emma Todd was all by herself down there Eagles with five seconds let's see what they can do
038get it to go to Arras she'll get it in the lane shot up won't go rebound too late that's the end of the first half the rampart ramps have come into Pine Creek High School and they find themselves they 23 to 9 lead at the half don't go away we'll come back with halftime for you right after this you're watching gifted xx basketball on xx TV you I'm at fine Creek High School where the rampart Rams have a twenty three to nine lead on the Pine Creek Eagles girls basketball at halftime Brian German alongside Dave fuller and Dave the last time these two teams played pine creek won the game by 23 points rampart scored 32 for the game they got 23 and a huge lead at the half unexpected to say the least really
039is a great start for rampart you like the way they they came right out and they shot the ball from the outside really well there's Kennedy reat hitting the three she had eight points for the Rams in the first half Vince was on hit the three and it was like Pine Creek didn't know what hit him the Eagles tried to get it inside and they did so just once to Gutierrez that's their only basket of the first half meanwhile the Rams getting offensive rebounds that was Kaylee Ortiz then nice passing by the Rams as well really was they go inside that time was Kaylee Leighton gets the bucket and here's a great pass Jada Randle inside Emma Todd gets the layup for the Rams and that's where we're at so I'm wondering what Jeanine juvik
040is telling her team at the half because they got to get back into this basketball game Vic got to score some baskets do it all from the free-throw that's the biggest thing seven of their nine points came from the free-throw line in the first half they did get better defensively but they weren't able to convert I think for Jeanine doback and that team they got to just keep shooting keep getting looks and eventually something will go down for you and if you're just an abbot you got to be happy with this lead and we haven't seen rampart play this year but how is this team only got one one one win in the Metro Conference in just two wins overall two and 15 overall in it it tells me they haven't played like this all
041season long because if they play defense like that and they can shoot the ball from the outside they that would show up in your record a little more than it has for rampart pine creek will try and come back in the second half the Rams will try and hold it off we'll be back with second-half action you're watching district 20 basketball on twenty TV you welcome back inside Pine Creek High School that ready to start the second half Ryan German alongside Dave Toller we'll see what the Pine Creek Eagles came up with at halftime Janine joob ik pumpin her team up rampart will get the ball first they will bring it in bounds Halley tossing the senior guard brings it in gives it to Ortiz senior backcourt for this rampart team Ortiz with it up
042top back to Toit's a backdoor tease books to the corner turns it over big steal there by Pine Creek here comes Brooklyn Thomas inside shot up and good nice transition there by Brooke Thomas and that's a basket really early for Pine Creek they needed that much need a good look at it right there Brooklyn Thomas going in just their second bucket of the game but Brooklyn Thomas now five points on the evening expect the Eagles to put some pressure on this Ram team the Rams as we mentioned just two and 15 on the year and you know pine creeks gonna make a run though they definitely will they got off to a good start they forced the turnover they converted now rampart goes back to that full-court press we saw it early in the game
043they went away from it now they're back to it almost got it knocked away but they get it over to Thomas on the side can't get it to go Carlyle big offensive rebound hits the bottom and now blocked by Reed from behind like good work down low by Amelia Carlyle though going up getting two rebounds the second one she gets blocked out but Pine Creek maintains possession safe Eagles nice inbound set here inside Gutierrez up can't get it to fall but you will go to the line boy a rampart when you're defending that inbounds pass and pine creeks done that about three times already in this game you better find Jordan Gutierrez she's coming right down the middle of the lane the past come in was too easy Gutierrez draws the foul that goes against
044Kaylee Leighton her third that was the only basket that Pine Creek the first half was on that exact same play 23:12 todd comes in for leighton who will come out she's got three fouls we'll keep an eye on that for the rampart ramps second shot no good Todd with the rebound gets it out Pine Creek Gutierrez right there defensively and they get it to Kelly Ortiz and the Rams will set it up we thought about it there in the corner for a Watts was on back up top now pine creek trying to stretch that zone out rampart might want to just stay outside try and pull him out of that zone Todd to reap reap drives baseline back to Todd had it knocked out of her hands say the refs no travel get it to
045Randall Randall knocked out of Bounce you travel with the basketball 23 to 12 and the Eagles have scored the first three points here in the second half they're looking for more Justin Abbott trying to plead the case of a foul before the travel but to no avail almost stolen away by Ortiz here's a pass ahead for Rihanna Martin nice pass over to Carl I'll bump it in look out behind Creek is Catching Fire there within nine what a great pass by Orianna Martin will bounce pass through traffic we'll get a look at here it comes good bounce pass to the weak side Carlisle converts nice left hand for Carlisle now Randall on the baseline not bounds again rampart wants a foul and they're not going to get it timeout Justin Abbott keep it right here
046Dave what is pine creek doing well they're forcing turnovers three turnovers already for rampart they were doing that in the first half but they weren't converting the difference is now they're getting the turnovers and they're converting up the other Hank Carlisle gets a bucket Brooklyn Thomas got a lay-up in transition Gutierrez hit a free throw and all of a sudden they got this lead down tonight really is the intensity we did see the same intensity yeah right out on the bat in this game but they just weren't getting baskets so now Pine Creek starting to score can rampart hold them off 23 - 14 Rams have yet to score here in the second half good look at some of the Pine Creek faithful dressed up for hunting hunting season hunting down that lead Carlisle inside
047nice pass maybe either way with a walk but she scores does Lola cubed 23 to xvi iran's now this young basketball team might be feeling a little bit of the pressure randall founded by martin she travels with a basketball forcing turnovers is exactly what pine creek is doing they continue to do it and getting it done on the offensive end as well they're getting good looks and they're converting those layups and as we said pine creek doing it on both ends and you like the way they're playing right now for rampart that last timeout justin abbott I'm sure just telling his team hey let's settle down we're playing just fine don't panic but you got to take care of the basketball you do have to take care of the basketball and it's tough not to
048panic when three Eagles right in your face Gutierrez now try to get it to Carlisle almost stolen by Reid inside again another easy basket for Q we will assume with four straight nice feeds getting the ball inside here's a look at it there's the past Carlisle the Qun the layup goes 23 to 18 now the Rams have yet to score here in the second half three minutes gone and there's another turnover Thomas with the steal [Applause] brings it across half court she'll slow it down she was courted guarded by Hannah Benoit I'll top Carla on the corner this time they guard Kuhn inside Martin looks cute trying to get open down there now she comes to the side gets into Gutierrez shot up blocked off Carlisle Lauzon saves it but it foot was on the
049line good call down there on the baseline by the official and Pine Creek will keep the basketball substitution for rampart coming in Kayleigh sheets comes into the game replaces tossin goodie heiress she wants two three shot up won't go rebound by reap and the Rams stave off that for the moment Reed gets it in the corner two sheets sheets try to get it in Benoit picks it up thrown away here comes Thomas with Reed right with her Brooke toss nice move to look back in school what a nice move by Brooklyn Thomas to fake like she was gonna pass it backwards and put it in it was a look at it coming right at you Brooklyn Thomas goes in for points in this half already Anna Todd inside and we're gonna get a foul called
050against that aggressive Pine Creek defense and rampart breathes a sigh of relief on that one yeah they needed they need to slow things down the foul goes against Carlisle her first for rampart six possessions in this quarter six turnovers they haven't gotten a shot up credit that Pine Creek defense for that Katie Leighton comes back in for Benoit now to get it in to reap Reed who is left open in the first half had 8 points gets it over two sheets now back to reap reap will take that shot and got it first bucket of the second half Haley Layton for the Rams gives him back a six-point lead much-needed basket for rampart to slow things down it was an 11 o run by Pine Creek to cut this lead to three before that last
051bucket by rampart inside really another foul called against the Rams that one's going blue 21 that's her fourth foul on Kaylee Layton and that's tough he just coach averages put her back into the game so she'll come out gave me a late in the junior forward and Randall comes back in the sophomore little bit less experience on the court now for the rants Martin - Thomas working inside Gutierrez nice pass working around Martin nice job Karl I'll take the shot won't go with a nice rebound inside get it to go to Aris just off the mark Randall with the rebound Gutierrez picks it up she'll take it all the way in can't get it to go and we've got an offensive foul called as Emma Todd stood in and threw the chop great play by
052Emma Todd she knew she was going to take a big hit on the play Gutierrez picked up that loose ball she took about four or five hard steps went to the basket here's here's a good look at it right here there's Gutierrez with the turnover gets in boy Todd got there just in time to drive that charge Randall in the corner reap she's open again got it and reap now has 13 points Kennedy Reed the sophomore guard who averages six a game having a game of the season for her Janee juvik wants a timeout and Pine Creek will take it so Pine Creek had cut this to three but then Reed has hit two baskets since then and the lead is back to eight back and forth we go back and forth you started this
053second half it was a 14-point lead by rampart in the Pine Creek comes out scores the first 11 points of this third quarter cut it down to three but a couple of big baskets Kennedy wreath the sophomore guard with five in this half and has done a great job of slowing this thing down trying to keep her team in it as they're protecting that leave they were up by 14 at one point credit pine creek coming out playing great defense forcing turnovers and converting on the offensive end but rampart is coming back with some defense at their own here late late so we'll see if Pond Creek can keep up this assault Thomas gets it in from Martin and they'll set up the offense way out top and Martin with a nice job there to
054go back door it's a de Kuhn Thomas comes inside nice bucket what a move by Brooklyn Thomas a great move I think that pass was intended for Jordan Gutierrez Thomas stepped in front and knocked it down takes it all the way around the horn end of the basket goes up with the right hand she's got six in this quarter back to live action the Rams with the ball up top send it in the corner this time Ortiz wants the shot got it Kaylee Ortiz the Rams are on fire from behind the three-point line why they are and they've needed to make some shots this is how they started the game and it's how they built that huge lead was hitting those outside shots than a nice job the last few possessions Gutierrez inside get the
055touch Gutierrez having a tough time shooting tonight Kaylee Ortiz brings it up the ranch without fear nine-point lead gonna try and nurse it in the corner back out top Ortiz thought about it Randall skip pass almost knocked away by Gutierrez sheets comes up with it and they'll come back out to our teeth or ramps no panic in this offenses another shot by Reed won't go but sheets is there for the rebound gets a good Tod but it's knocked away good job defensively there by Blasio for Pine Creek here comes Martin all the way coast-to-coast op Oh can't get it to go but we got a foul and Martin will go to the line a great job by Martin just going right to the basket split a couple of Rams players goes up with the left
056hand just a little too strong but she's fouled on the play and she'll get two from the line Oriana martin 5-7 junior guard for these pine creek eagles first one off the back rim won't go Haley Toit's aunt comes back in for Caylee sheets Haley for Caylee Caylee Ortiz still in the game Caylee Layton has four fouls for the Rams second shot good for Martin and Reese gets it into Ortiz nice job by Randall handling it he'll take it in gets a bump and she will go to the line as well couldn't get the puck at the fall but Randall Jada Randall the sophomore will go to the line that's a clip on how you break the press you can't do it much better than that Haley Ortiz a senior guard catches the ball over
057on the wing looks up had Randall up ahead of her makes a great pass Randall goes right to the basket and draws the foul for shot good for Jada Randall the left-hander for the Rams she'll have another shot to try and make this a 10-point lead once again for rampart rampart right now has as many points as they scored the entire game last time they played these Eagles second one short Carlisle with the rebound get it to pallazzo and she'll bring him across the time line Pine Creek sets up against that rampart zone shot outside by Martin won't go Ortiz with the rebound Kayleigh pushes it to Randall Randall over to twice on easy bucket great job on breaking the press and getting the easy basket there for the rampart terrific ball movement one side
058to the other for the easy layup inside Gutierrez she's hounded by Rams and we're going to get a call one official says jump ball it's going to go over to the Rams Kennedy Reid comes out of the game Hanan Benoit comes in and she will inbound the basketball Gutierrez on her and walk in to Ortiz and the senior guard no problem breaking ankles and moving it up across the time line has a shot block though Todd can't handle it rebound Oriana Martin but a nice move that was by Ortiz Martin in the lane shot up and good Ariana Martin Eagles trying to keep that pressure on almost stole the ball back but it's gonna stay with rampart they have a nine-point lead look at this Ariana Martin a great little floater in the lane that's
059what you call a running one-hander I think the teardrop yes Benoit tries to get in gets it into Todd almost walk with the basketball now throws it away but Benoit comes back with it pushing forward to Randall time running here at the end of the third quarter Todd inside they're gonna call with walk in with a basketball 13 seconds left can't Pine Creek score this would be a big basket if they can cut it to 7 here and that's the pressure we saw rampart break it once easily when you break that press you're going to get an easy basket but if you can't the pressure of Pine Creek forced another turnover Carlisle in the corner looks inside Gutierrez thought she was fouled inside so to Jeannine juvik no call to be rampart ball benoît trying
060to get it in gets it into Ortiz she'll move it up two seconds one second shot up and off the glass no good with the Rams withheld the onslaught by Pine Creek they still hang on to a nine-point lead we'll be back with the fourth quarter in this one you're watching exciting district 20 basketball on 20 TV you back inside Pine Creek High School fourth-quarter action just getting underway and it's another steal by Pine Creek they've had lots of turnovers here in the second half the Rams Pine Creek shot up Gutierrez won't go rebound inside and they'll be Randle and the Rams that come away with it pushing it up ahead Morgan Ortiz tried to get it to twice on it goes out of bounds and that Pine Creek defense forces another turnover and that's
061it that's a situation right there rampart whip this lead you're up nine points you really don't need to force that basketball inside set it up run your offense 34 to 25 and as time goes here mine creeks gonna have to start pressing to Carlisle gets a bucket there cuts it back to a seven-point lead nice job nice look by Carla good look on the base baseline Amelia Carlisle had a bucket in the third and that one right there she has four points tonight was on Durant laptop inside Emma Todd she'll move on Carlisle can't get it to go to Oz on I'll take the three way off that comes Pine Creek Breanna Martin getting a nice one earlier on the break she goes inside they call an offensive foul that's tough to believe that Toit's
062on was set on that one the official watching the Pine Creek bench thought about calling the technical foul on the bench there yeah sure sure did we've seen a couple of those those charge blocks had gotten the way of the charge those are so close tough to call at full speed let's take a look twice on line they were both moving the defensive player has has the right to that to her line but good job of holding that spot and drawing the charge Morgan Ortiz is in now number five the sophomore little sister of senior Kayleigh Ortiz for the Rams blahs oh now drives and I'm gonna call a block on the inside but gets Kaylee Ortiz that's a coin flip in they they all look about the same you go charge one time you
063go block the next Thomas inside cootie eros gets it to go this time and suddenly it's a five-point game presses on by Pine Creek Kaylee Ortiz loses it Martin comes up with it and there's a foul on Ortiz two quick fouls by the senior for the ramps I think that's her fourth as well Kaylee Ortiz just picked up two quick ones and she does have four fouls we'll see if they get her out if they leave her in but she's such a huge part of this offense for rampart good look at Gutierrez there and she's gonna try and do the exact same thing again bla so outside can't get it to go Ortiz with the rebound and they're gonna call Blasio with the foul on that one and Kaylee Ortiz if she is to foul
064out in this game that's huge because she is the one breaking the press for the Rams yeah really is they they need her out there they're gonna give her a break right now she will come out with those four fouls Haley twas on comes back in Morgan Ortiz is in their wits was on was on hammy by Blasio in the corner and here comes Reed back to Morgan Ortiz who gets it across the time line and across now block there by Thomas Moore hounding defense the Eagles come up with it they're gonna catch grief with a foul on Brooke Thomas but it's just the sixth foul I believe so to be out of bounds for Pine Creek next foul then we going to the line they will and that's the third foul on Kennedy reach
065he's had a great game 12 points in this game so three on reap for on Kaley Ortiz so a little bit of foul trouble now for rampart coming down the stretch Kaylee Sheets comes back into the game and they will play in the zone against Pine Creek that gave Pine Creek some trouble in the first half let's see if the Eagles can attack this zone here back to Martin Martin nice baseline move goes up gets fouled Gloriana Martin's gonna go to the line try and cut this thing inside five great move on the baseline there's a good look at Orianna Martin but a little head fake created some separation she gets down the baseline pulls up and gets fouled on the play Jada Randle picks up her first but as we mentioned that's the seventh
066team foul on the Rams so from now on Pine Creek will be going to the line no matter what kind of foul you get Martin's shot just off the iron [Applause] [Music] [Applause] it looks like pine creek getting prepared to play a little man-to-man trap after Martin makes the second one who cuts it to for someone to pass it into fine twas on almost five seconds pine creek knocked off Gutierrez and it'll go out of bounds off of REITs mind Creek basketball 34:30 like white pine creek forced eight turnovers on rampart in the third quarter alone three already in this fourth quarter the defense of pine creek getting them right back in this game that's why Kelly Ortiz is back into the game for the Rams four fouls for her keep an eye on that
067Thomas goes inside can't get it to go Randle with a rebound really is the only way pine creeks even starting to back off is when they miss a basket so twice on up top one agreed to move reek comes off curls shot up glass how did she call look at that beautiful shot Kennedy Reid has had the touch all night long that's a big one make it a six-point rampart lead inside Gutierrez goes by Todd won't get it to go knocked away and here comes Kelly Ortiz quit today on the run with Toit's on gets it over to her it goes off of Haley and out of bounds pine creek basketball yeah tough pass to make there under under pressure Kelly Ortiz where she was at probably should have made one more dribble and just
068gone to the basket and you might draw a foul yourself on the play Mattie Palazzo brings it up gets it to Thomas and rampart plazo drives inside knocked around by Todd's shot up and out of bounds no foul called it'll be Ram basketball but this is where Pine Creek has been excelling on this this pressure defenses press they've forced many a turnover so reap tries to get it in beyond the long arms the Gutierrez gets it to Toit's on Ortiz goes to the ground Randle breaks the press by going to the middle works on Martin stops she'll take the shot won't go rebound Layton she's got for thousands well for rampart how about Randle nice offensive rebound to get the bucket eight-point lead it really was great job with the rebound and then she just
069turned to her right there was nobody there or walked right into the basket and hits the layup timeout Janine Juba can Pine Creek and David's pine creeks been doing just about everything they needed to do to get back in the second half but the Rams have been there every single time but they have it seems like every time Pine Creek cuts this lead to three points grant partakes up right back up to seven or eight they've had an answer for for Pine Creek they're chipping away they're getting closer but as you get deeper into this ball game you're gonna run ahead of time eventually just got to keep playing your your game to get this thing to eight points they've done it with their defense and they've forced a lot of fouls rampart has several
070players in foul trouble already the big one their point guard Kaylee Ortiz who's had a great game tonight she has seven points but done a great job on that press breaker good look at Jeanine to Victor on up a play for pine creek and on the other side Justin Abbot can't say enough about the coaching job he's done as I said earlier we haven't seen rampart play all year but I'm impressed with his team tonight they played real well their defense forced a lot of turnovers early against a pretty decent pine creek team they have this eight-point lead can I hang on yeah that's that's the big question right now but I as you said Brian you like the wait Justin Abbott has coach this game change it up the way he's played defense they've
071had an answer every time Pine Creek gets a close and we'll see what they have drawn up coming out of this timeout and we see the press once again set up for Pine Creek Pine Creek with the basketball on the side Bazo gets it to Gutierrez hounded bikes was on it's inside and back out to Martin nice touch by Orianna Martin 38:32 coming down inside the second half of this fourth quarter Ortiz gets the ball to Randall good job by Kaylee from the floor randall takes it in can't get it to go twice on with the rebound grants no need to rush things here but over tees easily down the lane can't get it to go find creek with the rebound [Applause] Martin nice pass out Gutierrez for three No off the rim can't find
072the touch tonight here's Thomas what a beautiful move she's done that several times tonight can't get it to go now knocked away by Randle to the floor good hustle Randle and Martin on the floor gotta love this basketball game you gotta love both these d20 schools just getting in some competitive action why great hustle by both teams Pine Creek had two really good looks couldn't get it to go down though Gutierrez try to get it back to Thomas knocked out of bounds by Randle 336 left now no reason for either of these teams to panic Pine Creek works it around blahs oh nice move tried to get it back to Gutierrez on the ground Layton comes away with it we got a held ball and it's gonna go to rampart Kaylee late and played well
073early on for the Rams but she does have four fouls so a pair of Kaylee's out there with four fouls each ortiz anna late reek trying to get it in bounce comes in to Randall Randall turns on Martin thinks about it gets it to Kaylee Ortiz she'll go up with it and there's a foul kind of surprise the Rams are looking for shots that early I am - I was thinking the same thing once they break that press they could have easily set up their offense ran a little bit more time off the clock but Kelly Ortiz the senior had a little room on the baseline goes right to the basket draws a foul of the second of the game on Orianna Martin Ortiz misses [Applause] Kaleigh Ortiz the senior guard we'd probably like nothing
074better than Avena district 20 rival misses both of those that's a tough misses for the senior Pine Creek across half court there's Thomas Pine Creek doing a good job get it to Gutierrez at the elbow tried to go up with it blocked Griet comes back with it Toit's on on the run back to Ortiz knocked out of bounds by Blasio and rampart will keep it and I'm trying to tell his team stop what's no reason to rush this right slow down we are still ahead in this game 38:32 twice on try to get it in to Randall stolen away by blossom blossom Ortiz got to be careful there with four fouls should've gotten the call there that abounds by Randall right in front of the pine creek student section one of those nice heads if
075grant Wilkinson over there we'll see him later for the pine creek boys and they take the court we said Justin Abbott was putting up the stop sign to slow his team down the pine creek coach is right next to us or screaming slow down both both of these coaches wanted to settle down getting a little chaotic out there at times Ortiz knocks it away Randall comes up with it she's gonna take it coast-to-coast puts it up Oh can't get it to fall but she will go to the line love to see the sportsmanship there as Martin was there to help her back up to her feet absolutely and going right to the basket Jada Randall I don't know how she got that ball up and nearly made it with two pine creek players all around
076her and we see the fourth foul on the play that was called on a little cocoon Randall shot up won't go just inhabit talking it to us on now I believe he's telling her read there's no reason to shoot the basketball that early look for a good shot so 39:32 is Randle makes one a seven-point lead for the ranch Pine Creek starting to run out of time 2:30 left Martin inside Gutierrez tried to move had it knocked away it goes out of bounds and Gutierrez just a frustrating night can't get her touch and the Rams have been hounding her all night long he bound the basketball Thomas in to Gutierrez they've done that several times not again the miss Kaylee Ortiz comes out with it and she's smart she's gonna pull it up nope forget
077about it why not go down the lane get it back to Randle now the Rams will slow it up twice on up top [Applause] she drives around up and in what a great boot my helix was up the others senior guard for rampart 41 32 Pine Creek got to get some points inside Gutierrez easy bucket finally gets the touch from inside there and pine creeks got to force some turnovers now 41:34 150 left Plus on out top handed by Kuhn this is Haley Ortiz up no Thomas with the rebound that's sure whether angel shooting Carlisle Thomas Carlisle knocked down she gets back up Gutierrez coming inside she'll get foul men should be two shots I believe she was going up for a shot and she'll have a chance to cut this lead back again to
078five pine creeks got to really get busy here one day if I've left they really do but when you foul on a play like that you allow Pine Creek to get back into it without the clock ticking 1:25 left Gutierrez at the line she's 3 for 4 tonight 70% on the season it's about right yeah Gutierrez first I believe I heard him yell timeout so 125 left 41:34 rampart with a seven-point lead though one more free throw for Gutierrez after this timeout I'm not at basketball but if I'm Justin Abbot I tell my team not even to try and shoot there is no shape in value yes no shot clock right you don't have to shoot that's I'm sure that's part of the speech right here it's going to start out with what happens on
079this free-throw if Jordan Gutierrez makes that free-throw you know they're coming out in the press you've got to get the ball in forcing the failure but once you do get it in and get it across half court just hold the ball they have to fail you and then rampart is going to have to make their free throws and when we've seen both teams tonight struggle at the free-throw line in a game like this seven-point game coming down to the wire if you can make your free throws you can ice the the basketball game and we'll see if the rampart can do that those guys hope you're enjoying this basketball game in a wee dimension rampart comes into this game at 2 and 15 so maybe they're just excited that were in a basketball game and
080they're just enjoying playing and you know what a lot of that game management comes from experience and they probably haven't been in this situation a whole lot they've lost a couple of close games but at 2 and 15 sometimes the coach you have to coach those situations Gutierrez makes the second one so now it's a six-point game Greek gets it into Randle pine creek gonna keep pressing here they go to a man-to-man press reap lost it you're gonna have to handle it to carry the basketball Kennedy read tough one there though Javits wanted a foul no call 4135 now six point lead Gutierrez to inbound it gets it to Thomas vide eras inside June doesn't want it Thomas skip pass to Martin Martin thought about it Iran sitting back in that zone Thomas will shoot
081for three got it it's a three-point basketball game 41:38 one minute left the Rams with the ball now and here comes Ortiz breaking the press she'll come up and get it over to Layton she will take a shot off the glasses good the rims get the roll there they got a five-point lead okay Lee Thomas de Blasio inside Gutierrez shot up off the rim no good no foul here comes Martin with the offensive rebound the clock is still running 34 seconds Martin out to Thomas Thomas cross court pass plazo had a chance at the three she's fouled by Layton and Kaylee Layton fouls out of the game with that foul right there and Blasio will go to the line Madeline blahs oh the freshman guard little bit of pressure here she'll try and cut this
082to you a three-point basketball game with 26 seconds left Madeline Palazzo as you said the freshman just came up recently is played in three games and well she's a huge situation right now at that free-throw line certainly is and watch coach Kubek telling her team here down 526 seconds you got to make the fruit you got him make both free-throws you're down five got to have it and you got to get a quick foul then it starts with the free throws you need those two then you get into a one possession game you get it to a three-point game but you have to foul quickly and boy the last time rampart had the basketball now we're going to take a look at the three-pointer Brooklyn Thomas skip what a big three that was she's had
083a great night tonight Brooklyn Thomas the senior guard for Pine Creek but boy effort for Pine Creek they've got a foul quickly we saw rampart the last time they got the ball in against the press they drove it all the way the length of the court we thought they were gonna pull it out instead they go for a shot late he hits that shot you come back the other way and then Layton gets called for that foul there's just an avid coaching his team up you know parts happy because she made it and it's at five point lead right now and you got to think Justin Abbott's gonna tell them to get the ball inbounded one of their better free-throw shooters because you've got to think that Coach Kubek just over team let's make both
084these free throws and let's foul yep exactly pallazo first shot up no this is the first Randle comes down with it's was on is fouled by Martin oh no white ball they call the Gaul out of bounce in his Pine Creek basketball Wow twas on dribble the ball out of bounds I couldn't see it on the edge of our table here I apologize Pine Creek basketball 23 seconds get it to Thomas they're down five they need a bucket get in inside Gutierrez back to Thomas for three shut up comes into two timeout Junie juvik 13.2 seconds left pine creek right back in his basketball game a two-point game Thomas boy what a huge shot the shooters touch Brooklyn Thomas averaging nine points a game she has 15 she's at the last two threes that's what
085you want from your leadership a senior a veteran player in Brooklyn Thomas it's two big shots down the stretch cuts it to two thirteen point two seconds left coach Kubek you've got a foul yep rampart you don't have to shoot can we remind them at well and maybe they don't have to foul the last time they tried the foul and rampart turn the basketball over so well ramparts got to get the ball in don't turn it over force them to value don't make your free throws you still have a two-point lead in this basketball game can almost hold it if you get the ball inbounds yeah yeah value so we'll see Cayley Ortiz with four fouls will still be in the game I would think they would want her to have the ball in her
086hands either inbound it or off of the inbounds it looks like Emma Todd is in the game Kennedy REIT will do the inbounding Emma Tod was on Randall and Ortiz and for Pine Creek on defense they don't want Gutierrez to be up on orede repo trying to mount the ball get it to Caylee Ortiz and she's got it no foul and now the foul by Martin and Ortiz will go to the line maybe a tough break here because we're teased missed her last two from the free throw she really did I think she made her first two tonight she missed her last two she's got seven points so 2 for 4 from the line but I think if you're a part if you want anybody at your line that your senior point guard in the
087situation Haley Ortiz first shot got it huge free throw by Kelly Ortiz this one even bigger maybe a big two possession game if she misses this Pine Creek could tie it with a three got the second one Kayleigh Ortiz here comes Pine Creek quickly up the court Brooke Thomas a tough one there as Hort East goes to the ground Thomas misses Blasio is fouled by Randall Mikayla Ortiz is down she ran into a brutal pick that was set for Brooke Thomas and coach Abbott not happy thought maybe a foul should have been called on that there's 3.1 seconds left I believe Pine Creek [Applause] was fouled by Randall but everyone worried about Cayley Ortiz right now we're going to take a break we'll come back we'll let you know how Kelly Ortiz is doing after
088this you're watching district 20 basketball on 20 TV you back at Pine Creek High School glad to report Kaylie Ortiz walked off of her own power as Maddie brazo misses the first free throw and that could just about do it for Pine Creek as they're down for they now need a four-point play pallazo was shooting her second free throw he's up he's missed rebound by Randle inside she'll be fouled by Gutierrez so Randle will go to the line at the other end in rampart nursing that four-point lead but as I said Cayley Ortiz ran into a monster pick by Lola Koon went down and we took a timeout but she as I said walked off by herself she's overlooking with the trainer's right now but she's gonna be happy tonight because ramparts gonna pull out
089this win Randle shot no good knocked around by Thomas reek gets the rebound and that's the way it's going to end and the rampart Rams come in and pull the upset 45 to 41 over Pine Creek this was a heck of a basketball game and started in the first half Dave rampart Rams really won this game in the first half they came out with some great defense and there's a good look at Kaylee Ortiz on the sideline she looks fine we got some highlights for you the ramp our tram started in the first half yeah they really did and they started out quick there's a putback by Kelly Ortiz and rampart built a huge lead 17 to 5 in this game Emma Todd inside they had a 23 to 9 lead after they built that
090in the first half and then Pine Creek came back in the second half by forcing turnovers in Brooklyn Thomas what a great game she had the nice look back there got the bucket Oriana Martin with the running one-hander Pine Creek cut this ballgame to 2 / 3 late but the rampart Rams were good enough down the stretch to make the baskets to win it this one key right here by Hale it was on rampart Rams will a huge win tonight Haley Layton hits that one that was the last basket of the game and that's the final count 45 to 41 the rampart Rams moved to 3 and 15 2 and 5 in the Metro League the Pine Creek Eagles fall to 5 and 14 3 and 5 in the Metro League we hope you enjoyed
091the first game of this double-header we will be back with game number 2 for Dave Toller i'm brian german stay tuned we got a good one coming up for you the boys Pine Creek and rampart after this on 20 TV you
