Okay, John. We're at 2.1 for bond update. Yes. Big mass. Spin a fire up. Get that presentation here. Um, so this meeting coming up. Um, a little bit shorter and quicker tonight. We're planning to do um, I can tell you what I'm going to cover. Basically, um, project updates uh, for the high school and the aux gym few other projects in there as well. Um, touch on schedules, some just milestones. Um, going to hit the budget summaries that we've been looking at previous meetings and then we will uh, head out for a site tour of the high school. Sonia with PSC is over there. Gates unlocked. Um, so we'll do a quick tour of the high school. We can then wander back and take a look at the aux gym uh, construction progress and talk

about that kind of just from outside the fence. We'll be able to see enough there that um, to cover that. Yeah, I'll have to wait till we get the PowerPoint going. Good. Any thunder storms Friday? You know, I uh, I was I hadn't seen it. We went up We went on one last ski trip to Mount Hood. It was my son's birthday. Oh, cool. They said they might get it up there, but we we didn't get any thunder storms up there. I was kind of tracking the weather driving out here. And it looked a little like it looks greater than that. So, hopefully now. All right. When we're out there walking that's good. How was the mouth? Oh, terrible. Slush? Slushy? Slushy? Slush and cement there a few times. Yeah. But it was slush. Okay.

Thanks. You, Matt. Thanks, Matt. Um You can hear okay? Okay, like I said, uh some quick project updates. Um we'll touch on budget updates. Any questions you might have and then we'll head out for a tour but led by Sonny with PNC. All right, next slide, Matt. Thank you. Okay, so Banks High School uh schedule updates. So, as you probably are well aware, the demolition of the DO building, the south classroom wing is completed. Um so we are um eagerly awaiting our grading permits and um excavation permits which we anticipate on the 24th. So, in about 11 days we expect to have those. Um a key part of like staying on that schedule was getting some comments from Clean Water Services at the end of last week which happened. Uh I just confirmed that our

comments are going back to them. They just happened like about within the last half hour. So, uh seems like we're on track for that. There's a lot of steps to uh all of this permitting so we just have to stay on a like pretty much daily. Um so, that is the next big step there. Um we do have all our permits for locker room renovations and that work is happening this summer. Um we're actually going to start early. We kind of looked at because the length of the amount of work is more than they can really do in the time frame of you know, the kind of like 10 weeks or even less that we have. So, we worked it out with the school to start um on May 4th. Maybe even May 1st here

over the weekend a little bit. Um and to get it done by mid-August to be ready for kind of sports and football stuff that they want to start using again. So, uh that's exciting. That's That's a couple million-dollar project but completely gutting the locker room, uh new layout, you know, um dealing with that kind of title line issue we had and and a lot of improvements to the area, too. Um they'll have a lot better HVAC system now. Um we're going to be putting in a new unit for that. Um we also uh Jen helped us out a lot on this one. Uh the cafeteria in the high school got some work done over spring break. Um there was a a different grant I think that funded some of that. Um so, that was great.

PNC helped us with some of that along with um some direct work uh for the paint and some equipment there uh the high school. Um and then a little out of order but I just noted there that we did receive our final language decision on the 16th uh March. And so, um hearing went went well and I think I guess that was after last meeting. That's why I included that in there. So, um Budget-wise, you know, other than all I'll get into a little more detail here in a few slides but um what we're working on for the budget is um again working towards our final GMP with the contractor PNC and um we are still working on a few uh value engineering items. We're meeting again tomorrow to look at those, um, and just

uh, really the goal there is we are just doing everything we can get to the budget or lower. So, um, we have not brought any additional funds to that construction budget. We just keep working towards that that number. Um, and so we're looking at a few more items tomorrow on that. Uh, and then there are a couple items that we are carrying as potential add backs during construction if contingency comes available. One of the bigger ones that I think we've talked about is the CTE walkway, um, from the new addition back to that area. So, that's we'll be tracking that. Um, and a couple others as well. One, um, is just a few more upgrades in some existing areas of the high school that we're going to be looking at if we have contingency available.

Um, mainly where the new addition meets the existing high school. Uh, as Brian mentioned, we have the groundbreaking set for the 22nd. Um, and then another kind of significant item that uh, happened was the memorandum of agreement with Chippewa was signed and completed. Um, and so we have that behind us and all the items in that uh, agreement are planned for and and in in process or in plan and then we have a few other items as we've talked about that we're going to consider, um, that kind of relate to honoring the old deal building. Okay, um, as far as the auxiliary gym, we, um, I wanted to kind of share you some of the detailed dates of where we get when we got our permits and how things progressed there. We did get our

grading permit on March 20th. Uh we had a meeting that day to um kick off, you know, our services in the county. Um contractor set up their erosion control on that day. And um we Uh lower picture of lower right there. Um we're already digging footings and um starting to pour concrete out there. So, it's moving along nicely. Another um thing to point out is that we got the building permit 3 days after we got the grading permit. So, that went really quickly from the county's perspective. The the county has um Washington County has worked with us um quite well, especially ahead of time. Uh we've done some pre-meetings with Wayne Parker in the county to go through fire life safety issues and things like that. Try to again expedite um things out there and

then we've seen that paying off with with the county once we get um our other permits. So, that's all we put the gym. This is for the gym, correct? Yeah, so um but we are doing the same thing on the high school. We had pre-meetings with with Wayne. Uh for example, he let us know quite a while ago that he's going on vacation for a week starting like tomorrow. So, Rick has met with him before that, you know, planned around that. Like there's been a really good kind of coordination there with them. Um and we'll be starting underground out there as well, utilities. And you know, as far as I guess positives out there, the dirt was really good. Um, we didn't have any over excavation or sometimes you find like called black soil or

organic soil and then, you know, you have to really get foundation for your footings or for the building and you know, you might have to dig deeper and add more rock back. We really didn't have any of that on the gym, which is great. It was just nice native soil. Um, so that's positive because there's always kind of an unknown. Um, and um, we found there was one water line that was there feeding the the gym or the wrestling building that we had to reroute, reconnect. We found another one, turns out I think it was for like the old um, modulars or something. It was We found a couple of dead lines up there that we don't have to, you know, get back working again. Um, so next big milestone or, you know, one of

the bigger milestones is delivery of the steel building. Um, we expect that possibly next weekend. I checked today, you know, they're still confirming that, but within the next week or two we should see the steel building arrive um, and then it's going to be two deliveries. One's the steel and the other's like the sheet metal and the panels and all that. So, the steel show up first. There's coordination on site. Yes. Two sticks. Oh, yeah. Yeah, a lot of um, they already have the you know, they know the bus timing, they know which way to come in. I was out there for a meeting. They had delivery of uh, 40 ft long flat bed of rebar and so they got that in there. Um, and so the plan on the building is to try to

get delivered on the weekend. Perfect. So, that that's what they're um, planning to do. Uh, from a budget on the on the gym. Uh, so after approval of the team room addition, that will get added to the five star scope. Um, as we talked about before, the culvert is also going to be part of that project. There are some other five star projects that are non-bond, but those will be separate separate projects for the field. Um, you know, the field improvements, the golf facility, any of those of us that are are the fundraising are going to be clearly separated so that there's no coming in bond and non-bond funds. Um, and I kept the MOA here just cuz I love it so much. It has nothing to do with the gym, but uh, that one

just stayed in. Okay. Um, so our executive summary here, I think uh, there's some positive news here um, from this meeting. I brought my notes with me on the agenda. Okay, brought us up. Uh, last meeting, our program contingency, so these are all kind of monies again that we're Max, can you zoom that a couple of clicks? Is that possible? We have it on our laptops, but Okay. Do you need me to spin this at all? Maybe yeah, there's a zoom option. I don't want to spin it all over. Can you make it a little smaller? Okay. Better? Yeah. So, Thank you. Again, from from this row up is really what we're managing with the teams, too. That's our construction budget, our architect budget, all of our other consultants and things like that. These funds

down here are really um, what we're keeping on our side of of the books so we can decide, you know, how we want to have those spent. You know, they're they're really not committed. So, like for the team rooms, as we talked about last time, um that was a 400,000 um need out of program contingency. So, this This before was 1.2 million. We took 400,000 out of that to to fund the team rooms. Um and then there was 102 uh thousand from the Buxton Buxton fund. Buxton fund. Yeah. So, that came in to help me kind of lift that back up. Um the these other additional funds, again, are our interest, plus we have uh received 11,494 from ETO energy trust rebates as of now, and 55,872 for all the great work Max has done

to maximize our E-rate funds. So, there's about 67,000 or so um that uh on top of interest that's gone into this fund that right now we, you know, have not earmarked it for anything. Um and we do have about 180,000 more ETO funds that we're expecting from work we did at the high school to upgrade the boilers and the uh air handlers in the cafeteria and gym. Um and then E-rate where Max has completed a RFP for the cabling of the high school so that that can go in for re-reimbursement as well. So, um that row there is where we're going to track those kind of things, and I'll just keep updating you um each meeting on those cuz that's just you know, a huge advantage to keep bringing in funds like that. And I

think, you know, Brian, I think this like on the newsletter that we send out. This is stuff that we should highlight to the community. The grants that we're getting and and things that we're doing as part of the construction to take advantage of. Yeah. And you know, when we were just looking at this again, it's it's just good to remember that we, you know, we've already funded um the culvert um at about 230,000 and the additional maintenance space which is part of the gym of 400,000. So, we're still, you know, we've funded some things already, but we still feel a lot of, you know, we've got a pretty good uh contingency there on our side of the books. Uh If we go go to the next slide real quick, Max. This This shows us So,

this again is everything like above those other lines I was talking about. So, this is what we're really managing with all teams on. These are all the projects combined. We have This is the contingency we have for kind of unforeseen conditions um that are not in the the contractors' contracts. So, things like bad soil or, you know, unforeseen conditions. We run into a tank or something as we're excavating. That's kind of what that one's for. Um And up within this line of three is where we have like P&C's contract, Five Stars' contract. All the actual work is up in here. And so Um all in all, I think we talked about this before we're about 7% contingency which on our side which um we feel is a pretty good place to be considering where we're

at. So Um That was really the biggest item. You can see that permits are starting to We got permits. We probably dealt with about 50 permits or something so far. We've spent today you know, 280,000. We have 1.2 million budgeted. Um, here pretty soon we will have paid for all of our permits and we'll kind of see how we're doing on that that line item. Um, we usually budget about 2 2 and 1/2% for permits. So, um so far we're tracking pretty good there. Um and I guess the last thing I'll kind of mention is furniture, fixtures, and equipment. We're going to start a process to interview furniture firms. Um we have about 450,000 um budgeted for furniture for the high school. Um, so we want to interview firms and kind of see I know

Brian attended a conference kind of looking at furniture. There's a lot of different options right now. Um, so we want to um give firms what our budget is, have them come come in and kind of demonstrate different options. Um, we've worked with a number of firms that we're going to bring in and interview. So, um that's uh I guess one last kind of large item that we haven't needed yet. So, it'll be kind of exciting to get that going and underway. >> 901 item is the same line item that came from the other slide, correct? So, there's uh let's see. No, go to the other slide. >> Under contingency, you've got 902 there. Yeah, they're all nines right now. >> Yeah, that's kind of just random. Now, the 901 is up in these numbers. Okay,

so we have we have roughly uh 2.7 million in contingency. Correct. Yep. Yep. Um Any other questions on the budget? Thank you. Um Yeah, I think those are the main things I wanted to cover. Um so the uh the tour will be constant to see where we're at on if you've been inside the fence, but it's it's uh it's locked up. I They broke a bunch of stuff. Hopefully it will build itself, but Yeah. Now you can see everything we took away. Um yeah, so we just head over to the high school side, right? >> Yeah. So you said this the gate on this side of the fence is open, so I'll have to park somewhere over there. Can you meet us over there? And then after that we can kind of wander over, look

at the oxygen, and give you a quick update there. You mean you're you're uh helmets and vests and stuff
