The Wildcats Care Club is a group of 16 high school students who look out for each other and who want to help out their peers. When the group
013first started, they only stocked hygiene products in the bathrooms at both Burlington Middle School and Burlington High School. We have evolved into stopping the boys and girls locker rooms as well with all hygiene products products needed. If a student needs to shower at school after PE class or a ball game, all products are provided. We are also able to send home products with any student who is in need. One of the sponsors will ga gather the items and discreetly deliver them to the students. We have the facilities and the supplies to wash clothes for students. in need. Our goal is to have every kid feeling their best. All of this is done without other students knowing about our behind thescenes work. At Thanksgiving, we provided meals to five families. And at Christmas, we provided meals
014or gifts for three families. You might be asking yourself how we're able to do this. The honest answer is that we have a very generous community, our local grocery store, and some amazing anonymous donors who all play a huge part in financing the work of these 16 amazing young people. Tonight, we're going to recognize two of our outstanding seniors for their dedication and support to our club. These students were responsible for stocking the bathrooms, locker rooms, and assisting with organizing our closed closet. We don't know where we will be without them next year.
