Once again, another year, another season, and another sport. We have our son coming home day after day getting bullied. It is our understanding that the Bermudian Springs School District has zero tolerance policy and
003must follow the state law in PA regarding bullying. Over the years, we have to see that we have to use the Verian Springs to take affirmative action to reprimand those responsible and take actions prevent the bullying of our son. We are fed up not feel our son is safe emotionally, mentally and physically. In this district, we pay taxes too. Their courage, dedication, and sacrifice protect the freedom we all enjoy and ensure that future generations can learn,
007grow, thrive, and be free in our nation. We are especially grateful to the vet veterans within our Bermudian Springs community, including our staff members, parents, alumni, and neighbors. we have selfishly answered who have selfishly answered their call to serve. Dr. Myers and I were honored today to go through our three buildings and see the different celebrations that have had for Veterans Day. One of the newest traditions that we started this year was up at the high school and our high school students served our veterans within the community um of our high school students. At the district, we're committing to honoring the service by instilling in our students the same values of integrity, commitment, and service to others that our veterans embody each day. To all the veterans, we say thank you. And at this time,
008I'd also like to take a moment to acknowledge the school board president, Mr. Trump, for his service to our country. We thank him and all our veterans for their leadership, commitment, and sacrifice. That concludes my report. >> Thank you very much. Next is the assistance superintendent report. >> Good evening. >> I have a few items to report on. Um first and foremost, just wanted to report that we held zero committee last month. Um and definitely we'll have more information to share as they are crunching numbers and
009taking a look at the impact that that has had across the building. In addition to that over the last couple of weeks um continuing with our um it's not really a tradition but our uh it's a new tradition. Dr. Sterner and I were able to visit all second grade classrooms um in which we did a read aloud of a story called Turkey Trouble and discuss the importance of problem solving and creativity while we were able to introduce ourselves to those uh to that group of students. We will skip the month of December and we will u move on to third grade in December. Uh the high school is is gearing up for winter keystones in December. Um this is a smaller group of students who historically um are are taking it's just a select group
010of students who are taking or retaking Keystones uh as a pathway towards graduation. Five administration is requesting to resend the following extracurricular activity uh contracts and that's 5 A through C. And then six, the administration is requesting approval for the following contracts. So, uh, new extra extracurricular contracts for the 2526 school year and that's a 6 A through F. I know that's a mouthful. >> Motion to approve

Um, I just wanted to say um in honor of Veterans Day, we usually don't have uh a schoolboard meeting on on Veterans Day. So, I want to take this opportunity to thank all of our veterans in the community. And thank you, Dan, for your service. and um you know, America is the greatest country in the world because our veterans have fought to preserve our freedoms and that you should not only thank a veteran today, but every day whenever you see a veteran wearing either a Vietnam War, Korean War, um any service of any branch of the military, just take a moment to thank them. They sacrificed so much to ensure our
017God-given constitutional freedoms. And that little bit of appreciation is greatly appreciated. So every day should be Veterans Day even though it's nationally recognized today. So and also today um the the Veterans Day breakfast was absolutely amazing. Um so I'm really honored our veterans within the community. Breakfast was amazing. The students were amazing. But I wanted to take a moment to say thank thank you to you, to Mr. Brooks, um Serling, um Mr. Jared Nace, the cafeteria staff, the Eagle singers who did an absolutely beautiful job singing the national anthem. Um, he served 24 years on school board. I don't have the exact years, but I think it was from approximately 1990 to about 2014 or something like that.
