001e e e okay we'll go ahead and call the meeting to order first item on the agenda is approval of the agenda item 12 scho District represent am agenda motion second from Josh all those in favor say I any oppos same sign motion passes 6 number three is approval of the minutes from the regular reading on the also moves second motion from Josh and a second from Alison any questions comments changes all those in favor say I oppose sign motion passes 60 approval of the treasury report I a question on that one what are we paying to the Department of Colorado Department of Revenue motion by Kayla second by all those in favor say I I oppose same sign motion passes 6 approval of the inv any questions graduation Alliance is in there again as
002it always is we are doing some startup purchasing already just a few of them this time a lot of them will be next time to approve thees presented Chad questions all those in favor say I any oppos documents are attached for the reconciliation and cash balance report everything matches on the district office level and all the matches well questions that and then recognition of visitors Jessie H and Kelly reminder you have minutes Mr Lowry should have emailed you guys a copy of the bid that we are going to talk about and the proposal I don't know if you want us to waste the time and read the proposal to you guys out loud for record or or anything like that or just give our Spiel had time to read everything okay so we um got
003a bid for the floor at the wreck to redo um have it sanded down there's a few water damage spots and um we are here asking if the school board would be interesting and helping with that cost um since the high School uses the gym for practices almost every day throughout the basketball season we thought we would just come and see if you guys would be willing to split that we're going to go to the city council as well and see if the city of Clin would help um with that cost um in the proposal and the bid you see um it would also include all new lines we're going to put pickle ball lines in hopefully getting two courts within that space and then put in a brand new volleyball system because right now
004the net gets anchored to the wall and the bleachers and it's not really safe it's hard to put in and take out and our ref stand is not very safe either so that would be getting Holes in the Floor where the standards could go in um pads and then the new rep stand and all of that no I think that pretty well covers it's more so if we can answer questions for anybody on thoughts concerns um just any feedback we can give in case there was any questions some of the water damage do you think it's from a roof or something leaking otherwise damage damage nor door yeah North Door there was a RI leaks back and before the city in the rec redid the whole R system there's been nothing since but most from
005the north time those pretty regular and it's a small very small area but I just didn't know if it was a big enough area to it probably isn't because it's the past you know if we could look at an insurance deal on that it it's been really long time that's that's what I figured I would just clarify from that nothing new as far Dage do or reix yeah the city has taken yes there there's they have to stay on top of it just a hair better because there's a advantage that they've put in back there that over time fills back in So water backs up a little bit so they've got to stay on top of that a little bit better if they're aware of the does the city actually own that building city city
006we try to resurface that every year every year couple of things too which I'd probably recommend especially for be done is to proba sweep it I know we start basketball they it still gets a little stick surface it's going to help if they take it down the wood it's going to stick a lot better than I don't know how many layers of oil uh 972 th000 they the the guy that does all the refinish said he doesn't think it's ever been refinished um It's Only just been resurfaced or re repolished whatever they do the old days now it's water solution it's not o anymore that's reason it's yellow right and now we just can't keep that tack down it's just so slick because of the dirt and people are bringing in wearing shoes that bring
007in sand and gravel and so you just cannot keep it where it's not slick so the same guy that's doing all of our gyms would be he I feel like is the only company that really does any of the gym floors around here he does it every year and I think the let we say sh 1800 is that right is what they charge annually to refinish it um the the the slickness part of it and this has come from coaches High School coaches Junior High coaches R coaches everybody it's just it's almost becoming a hazard anymore it's like skating rink in some cases literally if you watch kids they'll they'll go in and try to come to a complete stop and they slide about 2 feet before they do and it just kind of got
008to the point that some's kind of finishing it's not it just it makes it look pretty for a little while but then outside of that the slickness is still there what's his time span on it so the our thought is we would like to schedule it for immediately after basketball season next year year so next march next mid to late March of next year because the gym pretty much is dead at that point we don't have any Rec programs there's no school programs on it it just we can lock it down and let them do his thing for as long as it takes so in in the meantime also with the hopes that even between Rec budget City budget if the school got involved school budget that would give everybody a little bit of time
009to prepare a little bit did he give us a time span on it I hav it wrote down in my office I think he said a couple weeks is all it's going to take oh really okay cuz he told me if we wanted to try to get it done before The Fall season right he would be done refinishing all of his floors and he could do it right the beginning of September and have us done in a couple weeks so we would be ready to start our volleyball season it would just practice would just kind of have to be at a h but he said he could get it done in a couple weeks we got have decided it wasn't overly important to get jam it in that fast that would just give everybody a
010little B time to prepare CLE across the board that price ain't going to change the only price that he said could change is the cost of the volleyball items everything else he said was set he he was pretty confident everything everything would stay locked in but his bid would be good for 30 days from the time he get it which puts us in mid May for basically to have a put in place so the P the push was just more so just to give him a commitment so the price locks in place he was very confident that he could lock everything in outside the materials from the so I'm taking it if we decide to do this we're not going to finish that this year next year City meeting tonight yes we're going here to
011there y so any questions that you guys might have we thought we would take or any discussion or decision making I guess one concern I have is the fact that at this point we're renting two facilities to put students in so funding this would then open the door for a similar request and it in my mind it can stack up pretty quickly as far as the expenses of crewing numbers PR be tight but that's a concern I have how much added um traffic do you see putting the pickle wall mines on I guess for all the requests for it immediate there's been request for pick 5 years now that we just couldn't find a place to do it and this just gives us the chance to put it in and make it a permanent thing
012well it's good we see we're looking at potential we want an indoor but we're looking at potential places you put even one or two places out somewhere through town for the same scenario what's your uh thoughts on City's response they are aware that we were getting bids already um we took it to city council meeting two months ago that it had been in the works as we discussed some other stuff so um at the time we had a a feeling of kind of where our bids were going to come in at so there was very minor discussion on it um talking to the city manager uh who's also on our rec commission right they feel fairly confident that the city's going to going to help I can't speak for that for sure right and I
013can't give a number for for sure Happ see that well I know how being on the city council of bush and you got a budget that you already started prior right and then things pop up that you try to get done right okay how are we going to come through this and that's that's part of the reason that we felt like it was important to push it off to 25 um that way it kind of potentially could be pulled a little bit maybe from both budgets right as as a potential just to help um we just thought to put and put all all entities in the best position to to help out Som there been discussion about having like the is one of the bigger expenses is the volleyball standard so like having like the
014W volleyball teams do fundraising or anything like that too or anything there hasn't been because those those coaches and teams change every single year so there'd be no consistency to who would do that fundraising there's been Talk Amongst our wreck for to maybe do our own fundraiser just as a wreck yeah uh for anything and that's whether it goes to that or anything we've got projects out the W we're trying to attack as we can so yeah that discussion is PR regular just just as reminder their budget the rec budget is funded through the school the school district is the only funding mechanism for rec the rec submits their proposal their budget we run it through have to can ask for Mill increase in Mill half whatever board would have to approve that for them
015to go that's just an option their valuation is quite a bit smaller because they're on the uh the old 354 District the old 354 people only are involved with thatu you officially can discuss this over the next item you can't make any you can't make any motions or anything here sor have you guys talked about thinking about raising the mill a little bit or asking to do that we haven't we haven't gotten into that um when we did it back when we when we started the fitness center in the rec and we did all that back at that time we kind of felt like that was going to be set in stone for quite a while but it's not out of discussion we have talked about it we're just trying to keep it I understand
016yeah you know open up try to make everybody how much do we use that gym now that we use bu for Junior High basketball some high school volleyball we have a a SE G some I think we even had a junior high tournament where we used this gym and that gym didn't theyed yes yes I was thinking they use both and then basketball practice the big one's basketball year then we do CT basketball down there also what you say yes boys and girls switch off every day or every week or something that's why we ref finish it which I read the contract today I don't went through that contract the the lease with the city lease with the city you p U ility 7 3,000 we Max that out as well say 3,000 have to
017have a membership use the gy the fitness center is the only thing that's membership have membership with the fitness Cent the gym we kind of open to the community as long as they can get in on somebody's key card because it is key card access we'll kind of open that to people so the kids can go facil so technically let's move on okay do we stay or should we sit prob go ahead and sit but we might still ask questions thank you guys thank you so gym floors actually Four ques now gy here that every year been doing wreck every year that is in the contract by the way Hollywood Hollywood year and we didn't do anything Wilson last year so I put the mainy main WIS last I do not think the bre gym
018they proceed needs to be redone this year um I talked to High School coaches a little bit they know it'll be a little bit slick they'll have to wet tow a little bit more often but I don't know that it's finish take just as they said it's hard to keep even we finish it it's hard to keep it SLI you said that we have to do it every year [Music] wreck it's in our contract with the city read it I the way I read it was on a reasonable basis um I just looked at the contract it was in there that it be refinished every year plus up to $3,000 um for utilities for the city that doesn't include any R Roofing on any roof of the gym area now I mean that's in there
019said it talks about that you know yeah and it also talks about how many years before the city could it's a 20-year contract 10 years I think before the city has an option to get out of it kind I read it does talk about somewh in there a Max $5,000 okay because I think one had cont so if we don't refinish it this year and they do this next year be basically two years worth of refinishing that we could possibly put towards towards our portion of it without any additional expens without additional expenses to the district that's correct well the third is just a little bit higher than 1798 * 2 just a thir how far we into the contract how far we into that contract so we've already been the I still don't see
020where it since we have to do it every year huh I see where we have to do it every year do you have it at Contract yeah I me I have the contract right here it's the same one you're looking at but it's I dated January 1st 2012 or January 2012 I just had her pull it out I didn't bring it with me I just read through the supplementals but it says supplementals that now if reasonable I think the word reasonable is in there yes on a reasonable basis it didn't say every year but it said reason I tell you my High School coaches tell it's reasonable to do it every year because it's slick a bit that's what because I've talked to all my High School coaches about it it's pretty it's pretty slick
021over there I mean high school's going to stop and cut a little harder when you're high so little bit faster speed just putting practices over there now not necessarily a whole bunch of games I don't know high school high school I just practi yeah and then C team games boys and girls C te games volleyball and if if it gets refinished I don't know if it's no it should be required for about a year shortly within two years you're going to be back doing a touchup again they just light sanded put water days it's [Music] PR every after the first year AB use yeah first after the first school year so if it was then in March we'd be looking at the not the first summer but the second summer correct that's what I most
022people yeah to keep them in shape it's cheaper to do it every year than finish the wood and according to the Lee that the maintenance and repair should be responsible the city should be responsible for that right yes but there is a rookie clause in there right but they got that and it talks about when you can uh terminate contract there's some time limits the contract yeah yeah basically said that if we help pay the road they can't C the contract on um is it possible that we could help with a third of the refinishing and the volleyball and then not do the pickle or the maintenance re I think it's up to be up to the board to decide how much whether it's just dollars or would it be totally up to the board
023what you want to do well like roughly right now we're for the next two years you're locked in roughly $3600 out of that amount anyways I'm thinking about it two years yes I mean that's rounding up to 17 so technically you you owe that well and and if we don't have to do ddy if we went ahead and participated in the refinishing and the volleyball part of it um it would be about 67 a third of that would be instead of yeah instead of that that would to the city be responsible for the maintenance as in the lease dictates and then the pickle lines pickle balls right they would I don't see the school using those I do the volleyball officiating stand was not to motion on yeah and then yeah we can do a
024separate motion and open Agenda on on the gym floor you can make the mo motions here if you want so you make a motion on which floor if you want to make a motion to support the three gyms on there it's the high school gy and the element so that' be for the 7,546 so5 I move to approve the price quote from Von lentil refinishing and pouring ink in the amount of $754 for the maintenance on the gym floors of the central PL Jor Senior High School Central Plains Elementary School and the main gym at Wilson Elementary second motion from Alison and a second from Kayla any further questions or discussion on all those in favor say I motion passes 6 then we'll have to get back to that yeah open okay item number nine
025the child care tax CR so I've been talking to uh the bar countyc and Child Care Network and U they would support I know we have a group uh at a group meting to clap when they would support another round of tax credits to raise funds for the daycare the only way we can go back to the Department of Commerce is to have board approval to ask for it we have to have a significant change in the project and the budget which I think going in the original proposal it was for a 32 slot daycare and I don't have any idea what the budget there was no documentation on what we thought we were going to SP in whether it was going to be built or remodeled so I have I have no idea what
026that budget what it looks like but if we go with uh the advancing Barton County Child Care LLC uh that is a 59 slot daycare which is significant change for plants and about a 1.4 billion project which I think that is significant way more than what we probably applied for three years ago so I know there's I have enough I think there's enough support for another maximum amount of tax credits which we didn't have maximum amount last time we received 175,000 last time which raised about $250,000 the maximum tax credit is 200,000 uh we we get when people donate that money they get turn a 70% tax credit back to them from the taxes that's how that works Banks get it's not tax credit Banks get privilege STS but so a significant change since the
027initial because I know like last year you guys knew it was going to be 52 or 52 license 1.4 minutes so how long that wasn't approved by the count okay but you knew about it one we knew it was going to be that much what that after the tax credits were applied yeah that's that's what my question was that came up after yeah it came up after so three and a half years ago uh this was applied for tax credits for Care at Wilson and Child Care Center here at clap those are the two things in The Proposal there is no budget information on that so even building a 32 slot daycare I would think would take will take more than $250,000 to build from scratch even if you put a metal building up the
028frame to the inside insulated I would think even that that alone with cost of supplies now I don't think you can get a build 250 my bu you can find a building and remodel Maybe but uh I haven't come across any buildings in town that even do that so and I think we pretty well agreed that we're going to wait and see if they can get their Grant uh they've been getting grants one they built B they got a grant they pois they got a grant they're going to write it again for cl and it'll probably be at that 1 million 1.2 probably not enough funds to cover all of it so ours be stacked on top of that Grant to complete we raise 200,000 more how much we ra we'll actually raise about 300
029more we'll probably get up to if we get the maximum tax credit if we're approved by the Department of Commerce I have to write the letter you guys if you approve this I have to write a letter to Department of Commerce requesting another round of tax credits based on increase budget need and an increased change in our proposal from a 32 to a 59 slot they let it pretty confident they let us no I talked to the gal two or three times she did finally I said there form and she said why' you go ahead because it I explained to her the change he said it have to run through their department but she encouraged me to go ahead and write the letter requesting another round and I don't know the timeline line it'd be
030great if I got it this year already usually you don't start selling these till about October November when people start thinking about taxes it's hard to get those contributions until later in this year very unfortunate you know we had know two Banks several people in you know I think people other people would you know they calculated understand they understand how it works because they have a Kansas tax liability is pretty nice benefit for them I'm not an account I always tell people I'm not an account so I can't give you advice so your tax I good disclaimer so does going after another round for the clockin dayare prevent like their's stock of getting something started over in Holier does that prevent the district from applying for tax credits to for that it would just be
031separate this is a whole separate application we had put in another application which actually hollyood uses the Sal area which is good to we get 70% tax credits whereas if you're bigger bigger area get 50% so it's not quite as attrac number if they don't approve us I mean we'll get the grant and'll what we can do she just so not quizzed why we weren't chosen overington for example they had all three of us friend they funded two I know why they did great B that's yeah the question Wasington they said hington had few more PL available already r250 okay there's really no downside to applying right we could worst case they tell you no they tell us no and then we try to search out some Grant yeah I move to approve the request
032for additional tax credits from the Department of Commerce for cland day care questions discussion all those in favor say I any oppos same sign motion passes 6 item number 10 te knowledge U I brought back a a rotation that we started a year ago uh this year our Focus will be uh fourth through e8th grade teachers along we may have a couple of Specialties Library pick up in here U Scott is working on that list and we give teachers a choice between PC and Apple so they do have a choice I tell you got I have one that does the Chromebook do that also on the smart TVs we have three a year last year we had enough funds in our small little school Grant to provide six so we put two in every building
033last year we for sure put another one in each building this year with funds available I we have a lot of teachers that say can I be mixed you know uh we try to we're trying to work through those to every staff has that capil a lot of the smartboards are not functioning very well they're old enough they're starting to I've got a couple that don't work so just try to hold on so get everybody changed over people that have them have been very positive on that so got to put two in every building last year do you know the numbers that we need uh Scott's working on that I'm gonna say 4 through eight probably going to be in that what Scott you know about how many computers we're looking at on that list
034uh I had it yeah I S that 15 15 18 something like that between Macs and PCs and then like you're in consales gets a teacher Chromebook which is you know just a faster Chromebook so it's about 18 I something like that so you can see by the end of 27 everybody should be updated be able unfortunately you got to start this rotation probably two years later but it's good to know because I know I've had I've got several teachers that probably on year 13 or 14 some of IMX you have 13 you have a bunch of iMacs that are like 13 years old my laptop's 12 years old yeah you have we have some that's C get the updates once the operating system still update then you really start problems with the applications because
035they update the application and it won't run on the operative soem it's the same thing with crowbs uh we do have small R grant that we use to improve technology the rest of it be like any questions on technology update there'll probably be at next month or they as far as prices to improve the technology a that stuff was all on back so what's that for a while a lot of that was on back not having problems with no I think we're okay uh what we do have probably have extra chome on the Shelf I think we'll probably get them all off the shelf this year item number 11 Surplus appointment so looking at our small vehicle Fleet is not very reliable hasn't really been updated for a long time you see two vehicles here
036that have over 200,000 that we like to disperse in probably purple way we have two with wheelchair accessibility that I believe put prices on and sell to other schools or put on away chose but I think there's schools interested in that then we have a a piece of equipment that was given to us back while back few years back that they don't need and I don't know if they'll put it upell put it up for sell it's kind of a big piece of equipment that's very specific it's not a universal type piece of equipment is basic football piece of equipment for extension out so and it's very big and BTY takes up a lot of space I guess that's why we will turn around and purchase have some recommendations for purchasing so the state is
037approving that 12 passenger transits now can be converted to 10 passenger by a licensed dealer so there some of those available we also know there's some 10 person Vehicles made by other companies that we might look at they actually make a 14 passenger school bus that does not take a CDL you have to have training physical Defensive Driving uh you still need to learn all the rules like stop bus at rail crossings and so forth but it doesn't require C 14 pass you can get yellow use it both for routes and activity you get white which is activities only cannot take kids home white bus take on activities that's yellow and but we need to start updating our small Fleet our small fleet has a lot of years and miles on what's the recommendation of
038that I mean we need to start updating every year every year so it's like everything else you can't do it one just need kind of have a plan sell that stuff and put it back in we're use all this money first that we get to upgrade and then additional Mone that's what we'll probably get enough I know we will for one at least one just here because the two bands are valued over 10,000 and you said you do know school okay so it wouldn't be too hard to get I don't think so okay I'll keep you updated on I'll move to approve the disposal Surplus as presented motion by second by Chad any questions comments in favor say I any oppos same sign motion passes 6 item number 12 the school district rep on the
039cloud Rec commission CH price session is open a school that position I get this recommendation from the CL PR commission they have a data meeting and Derek Holland shed was willing to take the place of Kiren so this just takes a board motion because we run that through the just like what we talked about earlier the two Mills goes through the district so they have two District reps two uh and then one at large two City two School pardon two City apped by the city thank you thank you [Music] by Chad and second by Alison all those in favor say I I any oppos same time motion pass M president I move that the board go into executive session pursuit to the Kansas open meeting act to discuss non-elective Personnel for the topic of resonation
040supplemental positions certified staff and classified staff to protect the privacy and IND individuals to be discussed with Mr Larry Mr Sherman present and return to open session in this room which would be 720 by Josh second by all those in favor say I I already got my step I think you're just like torturing do he go to the city what do he go to the city yeah I told I would stay so that way we'll see what happens yeah and that way he could maybe atast whatever realized everybody I e e e okay we are back in Open Session I to approve the resignations of the following staff JD kma head high school football coach Charlene and Jerry Zena bus drivers at Wilson Alan McCartney bus driver for Central planes key hip for her supplemental

050on Tuesday to review start that process um we have been meeting we continue to meet with the administrative new staff for next year for a smooth transition into the 2425 school year um after reviewing all the information on trap shooting it's highly recommended to have a school affiliation not a school team um you have to have some way to raise funds for ammo and proba pay but a lot of them use ducks unlimited it business forever groups you have to have volunteers for every three to five students all them have to pass safety course I guess my recommendation would be that U if we can find somebody who wants to lead that whether that be just for our district or maybe two schools um we had 30 sub students express interest surveyed them to have
051an interest in it so I think you know there will be some interest again it could be school affiliated so that just being like running under the name basically yeah so like when you compete at State it' be cers so forth because of the rules and rs most of them so if you do it under our rules you knowability comes into play about insurance uh that we have to ask them they get it through the association there's a traffic shooting Statewide Association he can't transport rules who's next closest one is Russ I talk to and elworth is affiliate they're not so both boy and Russ started this school and they got away from school affiliation and they have some people that are really interested another thing if you could get groups interested they can set
052up the ranges they could have their own competitions besides the practice and they usually practice twice a week that's another thingo so if you can find somebody that has a real interest that could organize and probably get people involved in those two organizations uh that's who does fundraisers boy does a little r they have they buy like a fourwheeler and do 400 tickets at 100 bucks a ticket for for a fourwheeler they make $20,000 off of that just an idea but that I just think it's probably going to have to be school affiliated would be better serve the students that need school um we also can continue to prepare prepare for the end of school year and the transition and um to the end any questions for me board member reports but was that like
0537 through 12 for the 30 7 through 12 what's that for that 30 some kids did you 7th through 12th grade uh was that 72 or 9 more than 30 yes it was 712 and it could have been I was thinking it was 30 so that since they would practice just twice a week like if they wanted they doore like they score and and practice on another night and if it's real young kid they said five's too many they want to make sure they do it right kids you have five stations in every might said most of them have more than one range two five but like if they did that they since it's not every day practice type thing they can still do track yes most of the yeah yes and H I don't
054know if my shot yeah I knew there's yeah 58 responding to the survey and 39 interest I think if the counil like an Amo that Del a lot of am cost most of between 15 and 20,000 and can't remember R charges a little bit just so they'll show up on a consistent basis I to help there's somebody in this area that has an interest in that I know the kids get one going there's say 40 half of 20 still decent do we know how many boy has for Russell they both have lot 40 plus yeah it's 20 grand for them rough 20,000 bucks yeah they usually buy it up front any other question open Agenda item want to revisit they said that they were doing it at the end of next 25 okay so they
055would still be playing on it for a year without it being refinished correct so it probably would need done this year I talked to my coaches they said they would wet moic try to get by just to save the money I T my co they said they they understand I saido it year it'll be slick they have probably they take wet towels and put around the brooms after they broom it hold stinky it'll it'll last for a little while that's an every day every day you wanted to finish if you can't make motion I kind of eliminated that cost s they're willing to do that in hopes to have a better surface after that yeah or is the other third coming from is that City well if we don't finish it this year it would
056c a little more pleasing our part because we can take our expense this year and our expense next year now I don't know if it got ask taking care of it after that is that expense still the same or is it change because it's a different surface no it'll be the same good it's just harder for that treatment to as effective on that finish right color size we have no plans to not use it I mean for basketball practice no we' have it says us having to go early in Lake by switching gyms nobody has to come in at 6 in practice and nobody has to start at 6:30 at night official I think i' make do the third of it 82775 we're going to cover the repair cost toost is that and the pi
057Char wasn't it the total 24,000 if you did that you could probably ask it' be like us prepaid four four and a half years emo for supporting this I just don't think we should have to pay the pickle balls Court out we're not going to use those the school isn't going to use and then where they're they're obligated by police to do the maintenance but I we could take that and say okay finish since we do use it probably the most that's you to well at this point there has been a motion I don't for do they I know the said class right now they're so second discuss I don't have a problem paying that but like it got brought up would be Inc for us to say hey we don't ref the next three
058four years and they would have to come up with that 98 but that first year it don't get finished anyway so about five years well technically we ow for two years anyway no matter what so do that motion you know so we got two two years into it that I won't say to it but you could that I be favor doing a third at the and a third at the volleyball system those two and then keep us on this regular schedule that uh a third of it's about 6700 and then you figure 3600 of that yeah so 6700 so you were looking at so the pickle ball is just is $700 $1,300 off of what they're asking no okay we're at least we're obligating My Le to do the ref finishing does the volleyball system
059will that affect the leas at all adding to it because we paid some of it who owns will they maintain possession and ownership that yes it'll be theirs the building's theirs it's actually city property it be like a donation for that part of it so is the volleyball stuff that's down there is that cities or is that schools that the city uses cities okay yes 2025 by 2028 that's what I have now 28 if weay foring every year City 26 27 2 that you be same that's kind of what I prep It's Kind prep yeah that's kind of what so 28 29 first year have to how do you get 9,000 again 18 I took five which would be 28 24 this year yeah 25 26 27 [Applause] would that have to be adjusted in
060if we ask cover would that have to be address yes have to be the contract I guess it sounds like minimum two years I I wouldn't have a problem 28 close that put close to that that [Music] so normally is the wreck build for this refinishing and then we pay it or is the school buil this one right here is our bill and this was the so on the books it's going to look different historically yes I would assume when the bill comes in the cityes but because the city will be built project then we will let a check to the city or whatever that's reason next year that has to come out of the general b and we can't come out when it's not our property okay [Music] not to purchase always should we
061ask the city if they're willing before we through the or motion accept it's whatever you guys want to do I can somewhat make a suggestion that if the city's not willing to pay for it the wck would be able to eat that in their budget on the 17,800 it would cost to take care of ref finishing it every I don't see that the W board would have a problem taking care of that if the city if that's what you guys decide and the city doesn't want to take care of that cost the wreck I feel like would take care of it because we really want floor done for our benefit for it be motion if you put that in the motion it's not yeah because if the city backs down you don't have to go
062I will make the motion to support the bid as presented the cost being 82775 dependent upon the city of Clin accepting the finishing for the remainder of the leas term 28 29 right the remainder of I think you have to renew it two years you have to yeah two years before act so depending upon the city of clap to pay that maintenance M yearly for remainder of the lease okay can we add the city of plin or the wreck since just to speak to what Jesse's point was you have to take a vote Before You Can Am the motion can I my motion second so she can't her motion you have to make another motion to amend the motion I make the motion to amend my motion I can make the motion to amend yes
063okay can I amend her motion I would make a motion to amend her motion to include the wreck as an option to pay for the annual yes okay's Kayla's motion was dependent upon the city of clapin to pay the yearly maintenance for the remainder of the lease okay so then we're going to Chad seconded that okay why don't you just vote no and then we get started go ahead and then Alis made motion to motion to include to pay the and then so now we have to vote on the amendment to the motion so all those in favor of the amendment to add or to the motion say I and oppos same side that motion passes 6 so now the motion is all put together so the city of Cl or the r can cover
064that until the 29 2829 could it well um she made the motion for the remainder of the lease so you're saying just for 19 for 2028 29 which is the same answer same okay so on that couldn't you just put Andor uh the city of the city of clapin and or the wck and those two can just go through it so now we're going to make another motion so the motion that she made to amend the previous motion that's final oh okay sorry no we we agreed to amend it now we're g ready to vot on it so now we're making a regular motion well now that is the motion now we're voting voting now we're voting that's what I meant she made a motion to amend her motion now you're going to we're gonna
065basically we're going to vote on my first with her Amendment okay all those in favor say I any sign motion passay yes with the stipulation we should have just approved [Music] sorry another item on open Agenda is I've got a request for out of state travel in July by the FFA for officers to go to the den area to plan and do the retreat uh all they're asking is for Transit from travel that'll be on next month's agenda I wanted to put that out there because they make plans and you said that's for FFA board off officer prepare for next okay activities July 26 through the 28 and if not possible I would encourage them to come and present Mas and they don't have to of course but I would encourage them to so they
066they uh had that I have that need to approve that or anything I'm still writing the okay and I know you kind of already mentioned but yeah I do want to express my gratitude and appreciation that to Mr Murphy and also Mrs Murphy for the time and effort you guys already put make the transition and I also wanted to say I know Mr Styles mentioned it at the banet but Mr Ryan was voted Regional coach the and we have one more meeting yet don't we yeah that that everybody will be here next3 personels student fees possible property our insurance that's going to be a big deal got two other bids coming in for our property insurance we hope have our insurance yes very trying to renegotiate health insurance say I
