that's okay this I'm sorry foreign thank you all right we will go ahead and call the meeting tomorrow are there any changes to the agenda to make a motion to approve the agendas as presented was it amended after yeah oh approved as presented here sorry amended agenda went out there was some changes right thank you so there is a is that okay approve as amended yeah yeah and what's in front of you is the final language what was the amendment I was trying to think what would change that [Music] um yeah oh Administration executive session Administration for example exceptions and um so there was a bush by Allison a second by Josh to approve the agenda as presented here as invented any questions or discussions okay all those in favor say aye any of those
same time okay now approval of minutes from the board meeting on April 10 2023 any questions comments being reproach okay there's a motion man Brad second by Chad any questions comments okay all those in favor say aye aye the same sign motion passes except zero approval of the Charter's report is there any questions or anything that needs to be about absolutely impressed hey there's a motion to approve by Brad second by Josh all those in favor say aye aye can you improve same sign devotion passes seven zero okay and then invoices foreign Works education is a loss of learning curriculum for sr3 also we've paid the last month we approved kasp membership and label and that was paid this month um also on the second page we had the space lid flow through come through
so that's also this present places any other questions or entertain a motion to approve the invoices as presented someone Emotion by Allison faster second by Josh all those in favor say aye any oppos same sign motion passes 17. and Reconciliation and cash balance of the cash balance report match the cash in the bank which matched Stephanie's Treasures report so we are in Balance if they have them safely I do have something to be aware of I have not approved it erect uh for the last two years of battles for Wilson activities that contract was signed July 2nd of an athletic director so this year was the first year is two more years they reduced the price to 1500 for the next two years but I haven't approved that yet for example um yeah go ahead
I mean kind of puts us bad light not honor of the contract the only person they can enter the district into a contract is a superintendent I understand that and uh and it was signed July 2nd after the motion April 22nd they should have known that there was going to be a chance I don't I don't know I mean I don't think it was a bad name I mean doesn't help our name I tried to I tried to see I suggested to check reach out and see it was like correct my bill utilizer for somebody else to utilize them so maybe we could we could we could do that and get reimbursed or something like that I suggested that so I've yet to if we would because number one we have a second I'm sure
yet but I just wanted more to be aware of that well it came out of the activity responded Wilson could I'd like to get it reimbursed back into that but because of Praise those plans for the elementary there's going to price it up in elementary but then I'd like to keep it there we could oh it's quite a few metal I don't know how many battles there's quite all the metals for two years and it has the Wagon on the front it's not like the universal hard to find another Power Dragon if you can find another school to buy them that would be fine we talked about that too find somebody that would be great talk about the church yeah we had that brought up yeah I just need ideas on how we could get
them so I still the invoice hasn't come in just an Iraq before so I have a look at that point yeah that wasn't important to be aware okay so we have public forum and I will just remind you that um performance we ask you to keep them to five minutes um Aaron the wobble it's okay if I stand right here okay um so you guys might have heard this from Mr Lowry already so I apologize about being repetitive uh but there have been a couple openings in the elementary um and obviously a lot of my job in the high school Saturday and more with the school shutting down um and so Mr Lowry approached me about filling one of those positions um and he also recommended to me um Newman University just came out with
a new program um usually to get a teacher degree it that takes a while but it's an accelerated master's program so it takes place over the course of the year so if you get this summer and ends at the end of spring next year 2024. um and it's 30 credit hours uh I would be if I were to do the program I would have some sort of restricted licensure by following be fully accredited by um the year um and so Mr Lowry brothers that's me and I uh said I'd be well I would love to do that if the district would be willing to find that to pay for it for the tuition um so the tuition is 13 200 for the whole program um I would be willing to pay my own fees and
you know pay for books and things like that uh Mr Lowry was was supportive of that idea so that's kind of the proposed library to you guys tonight um that way I yeah it could be be more qualified to teach the kids and you know be licensed on paper and everything would be nice um and so yeah and I will uh it's kind of a quick turnaround because obviously I started the summer so I will have to know about that tonight um because the application process is closing up pretty soon um I got the email today that I'm conditionally admitted as long as I get a as lots of districts sent a letter of intent to hire that they intend to hire me in this fall so so I bring that to you guys as
a consideration I thank you for considering that Aaron yes if you want to comment on the diocese oh yes um so yeah I also don't know how much you've heard about this um the diocese did not decide to go through with the junior senior Catholic High School um and you should be kicked it around the parish council level we kicked it around the diocese level in the back of the parish council um and I think mainly is just a concern about raising that amount of money in that amount of time because obviously it's very short we think that you know we could eventually raise the money but two or three months isn't a lot so at least for for this next school year we did not plan to do do that so yeah and if
you have any more questions I'd be happy to answer anything about that as well thank you okay Dave works yeah I put it to address the board and thank you as a board for what you've been through the last year uh I know you've had to make a lot of hard decisions that you don't necessarily find Pleasant even though all of you have children in this District I have five grandchildren right now uh four of which are uh second grade enrollment and I've heard everything from this Wilson uh High School thing to what not want to travel well uh Mike uh grandchild is in preschool and he gets on the bus at 10 minutes to seven I'm sorry ten minutes after seven and let's go to my second video my preschooler gets out at noon
my other uh grade schooler get the first second grader gets off the bus at about a quarter to five I mean that's so I don't understand why high schoolers am taking a bus trip which only two showed up I believe under our acceptance we've held our arms open to have a high school for the kids to educate them read everything in the paper about how they have nowhere to go I don't understand why they consider us nowhere and I don't we've been we've been more than accepting and um I'm trying to figure this out and then what I understand we have a petition tomorrow and the petition states that they want to close the district and as I understand it and our something to that effect and and this tells me that they really don't
care as a school board from the board however their representation is in town that they don't care whether they lose their grade school or not you know because I guarantee you if we close if we shut the district down they will disburse us we might be all right down here because we have a great number of students we might not but I just think that the people ought to understand that they're voting to close their grade school if they just park this because if they don't think that Sylvan Grove Russell uh and Ellsworth won't take those students they won't take the high schoolers because they can but you give them a little bit of time and the state appoints it you know this if you don't believe me talk to the illness you know I
talked to the man and he's still in the game he's not active in payroll but he's still in the game and I tell you I just don't understand why we've been painted clapping now but what I don't hear uh 112. I constantly hear clacklin is non-acceptance of the students that doesn't want it I don't know where that came from and I don't know why perpetuates because we are welcoming if the whole High School wants to come down we'll bust them give them some time to talk on the board about something else other than perpetuating going to Sylvan Grove going to Ellsworth going to Catholic School whatever happy which is what the board has been perpetually having to deal with over the last six months since the whether or eight months since the closure notice I'm
trying to figure it out if someone could give me an answer of why that is that we're not that they would only send two was it two came to visit okay with the students visited how many kids three kids how many appearance came with them three questions three families again okay I don't know how many school how many okay how many can I ask the board a question how many students are up in Wilson High School 73 on September 30 some of which are already tried to commit to Ellsworth of which elsewhere is going to pick off the top of the 21. that's what I understand from the board from the superintendent of Ellsworth I believe those numbers to be correct you could check me on them but I do believe the numbers to be
correct good luck with the petition is what I would say I'm not so sure they won't vote for down here just to close the whole damn thing and I think that you know if that's we may have to take a hard look at that study what's actually coming out of this thing if you don't have any idea you better find out including the board members for Wilson because I understand that you're supporting this and if you're not I need to know now whether you are or you aren't supporting this petition yes or no why do you need to know because because that tells me you don't need to know anything about that you're on the you're serving a public board yes or no yes okay then don't don't address me let's start back and forth
all right but anyway that's where we're at I'm trying to figure it out I'll be there in the morning to ask the same questions to make sure that they know that they're closing their grade school under their own well and we're more than willing to leave them have a great School of perpetually to the best of my knowledge nothing's been just closed about closing it and also more than welcome him to high school this number one rated in a lot of areas including his Plastics Sports I don't know what else you wanted so tell me how it works maybe I'll have an idea okay those are the only three people signed up for the public forum so now we're on to republishing the budgets due to an increase in our at-risk funding which they changed
that this year to where Medicaid is automatic and uh we had a lot more people to qualify for free and produced which increased our at risk about 100 197 000. uh so to republish it takes two things that we publish not to replace two things to spin with you have to have authority and you have to have cash currently we don't have the authority if we get that much cash I did probably increase the numbers a little bit to have a room because if you have the authority of no cash you can't spend it either so you have to have two things to spin so during this process we increase our expenditures for at risk 000 which is another 80 000 more real money that's coming in because we're required to transfer from LLB in
general fund that is a required by State Statute to transfer a certain that percentage that's right in our budget Authority so that went up 278 000. we also why we were doing this we increased our expenditures for vocational post-secondary education because we're we never have enough authority to actually code some of those things that we qualify it's good to actually identify where you're spending the money because sometimes you can't get into vocational it just comes out of jail but it's really a vocational but we'd like to keep better records of that so we know how much vocational expenditures truly are again and only that that all the funds that we have like at risk and Vocational there's only two ways that funds go in there and that's by transfer general for local option budget because
those are the two funds that come in annual Progressive were all transferable funds and we talk about cash balances being reduced or we only started with five percent of operating this year those are the buttons because you can't you can leave money in them but you know reduce our contingency our Capital Ally and then of course everything else is really loud at risk and all the special ed and trying to carry money because we have to pay for special ed so those are the reasons that we kind of look that we probably skip we're eligible for those funds we need to have the authority to spend it but we have to be published to do that just as a reminder this doesn't affect any tax dollars 20 meals general fund this is all based on
account non-ten so when we do the regular budget we really don't like this to happen because our local opposite budget is based off what we fill out in that general fund in July so when your general fund goes up your lob cannot go up although they increased my transfer because technically on paper they computed with them but there's no more tax dollars coming in for that that's the reason my transfer out of Lov went up in that risk so lob stays the same okay so basically gave up about 30 of that not having enough cushion in the general fund we didn't estimate high enough usually try to try to estimate enough have a more Authority than graduate of the cash this doesn't happen but that didn't work this year but there is no tax increase
at all I'll move to republish the 22-23 budget has presented over budget hearing on Monday May 22nd at six o'clock here second motion by Roger second by Allison any further questions or discussion hearing on all those in favor say aye aye any oppos same sign motion passes 7-0 the child paragraph uh Great Bend Economic Development has formed a group a b c c which stands for advancing Barton County Child Care Incorporated and it's actually an incorporated group uh they have their own website if you want to go to it got it Dave asked USB 112 to partner in the Care Child Care capacity accelerator Grant from the state they have been doing work with this they have plans for a 59 slot child care center it's already been developed a great bid they are offering
all part of the county schools and opportunity to partner and they would request funds to build a 59 they already had the plans for a 59 slot Child Care Center it would be on school property which we'd have to write an agreement for that if they get the funds you know it's going to be an opportunity they would actually hire it and probably help facilitate the daycare so I think it's a just an opportunity the state has put a lot of funds in a grant for this child care and they're basically looking at like one County one Grant Per County so I think it's uh it'd be a great opportunity for us to partner with the abcc Incorporated to provide possible daycare here at Claflin because of Orange County you could repurpose we had a
lot to wait to see the grant you have funds who've been collecting for daycare we could change the scope of the funds we have into other elements in Hollywood or Wilson with some of those spots to change the scope so take any questions on that the board would approve it I will have to write a letter saying that USB went to a board I'd have to write a letter for the grant and I'd probably try to get the city to also write a letter to school programming because that's what the cutter required so it's stable is provided that's what that's what our share is we're we're giving up the property for them putting that building upon it I mean that's not a cost to them they're putting all the funds towards building and equipping a
big bang slot daycare who owns the building that's in the grant we talked that's a contract at the end and we talked about that and she said you know uh the school could also help with cfk will be the food service provider they purchase that and stuff but they said it something would happen down the road that would be in the contract you know I would assume it's going to refer back to the school if at some point they would draw trouble but that so they've got that contract with the great bid working with Boise Pitt and I haven't heard about elephants yet what ages would be eligible for them from birth to school age yeah so they actually probably do it after school teachers get like a priority or so that would be it
would I don't know about priority but if the board wanted to contribute for some of those fees for teachers that be the same as right now we've given about a 50 discount at Wilson for staff so lack of income is also invested you know 112 is investing but if you don't collect it you know so you can invest a stipends for daycare their employees to get down we at this point abcc would actually be the operator they'd be taking care of employees and things and stuff like that within party account so we have to get to the administrative agreement it would be just like any supplemental you'd offer a teacher one of the two places I lived at would be north of the tennis courts or north of the industrial Arts Building or through that
road between the Windbreak of the road or north of the tennis courts both low traffic areas for parents but close enough they're dropping kids off Child Care off too and you'd have to have a play with your own playground it'll have its own playground and everything else there's about 600 regulations 59 slot daycare facility would it be something that like the facts class and stuff could be another thing they could utilize it for education purposes that they're trying to get their uh Child Care license daycare license or a great facility type Prudential they can have volunteers too as long as they're not a great supervision of kids as long as they have somebody right there with it so there could be an educational experience for kids also I think the location might be something that
as we know is square footage and requirements or everything's important discuss further down the line so they took a Google map and this one to make sure when they do it that it improved by because of the zone or herself access to utilities drainage all those things so they've out they've already taken the Google Map but I would try to I think I think their architects of other equal sites in Terminator Okay but I again that's still open I know there was a discussion closer to the highway but I'm not sure the closer to the buildings always better I think probably not road that goes behind the high school maybe either one way or something maybe get that tape yeah that's partially are there any further questions or discussions [Music] I would entertain a motion
to move to partner with abcc Inc for the child care capacity accelerator grant for a daycare center on school property emotions which is my second from Chad any further questions or discussion all those in favor say aye and we don't know the same side promotion passes 7-0 online page so the district last a year ago purchased online enrollment for the first time utilized so we still have that we'd like to utilize the online enrollment and along with that would like to recommend an online payment for parents or anyone there's a wide variety of that you can do with that credit cards debit cards that required to do achs to want to do that um where there's fees for that but I would recommend that the District pick up those fees at this time just to
help parents get started with online involvement and so forth that they could be advanced I would think on younger parents probably tends to help out younger parents this capacity with the let alone in low budget balance they could actually hop on put it on immediately that's there you don't have to worry about getting cash or a check to school so I don't have to be um I'm sorry yeah it depends on how you track it yeah okay so the characteristics you're using okay so parents I mean yeah I just know that it's a trend of course for parents and stuff for kids so at some point we'll probably have a point to sell in the office if you wanted to do it in the office and we could add anything we want such as a
fundraiser if you want to use a fundraiser up with it if you wanted to do whatever you wanted you know you can expanded my recommendation would be to and we've has Administration actually they looked at it a year ago before I got here I'd use defunds and two other school districts and so we had another presentation for secretarial staff and because administrators and and all my 10 people they they think it's a pretty good one too so they're they're they think it was successful the presentation so I would recommend these photos the only expenses after the first year is 350. there's more now so again you're going to waive the setup okay put you have a percentage there's about a three point six percent fee that served yeah so that's 3.6 percent I believe that's
what that says that there is a [Music] and then if it says hch there is a I calculated on about 10 or 20 000 it's going to cost less than about 850 25. so the ACH is just a flat fee of the 75 cents was when the school pays out yeah yeah and there have they have you could on there they have these the kind of parents pay it you can set your own the parents I just know to get a large usually more successful to get it launched before and so chooses next year to say hey let's start splitting these fees and we have astronomical use before it could decide this year to change that what about the returned payments with those fees being paid by the school or okay by the payer pay
your sales okay I just noticed there were observes on that too okay I'll move that we contracted lead clubs in the district to face those fees potion by Brad and a second by Josh any further discussion or questions all those in favor say aye aye aye any opposed same sign question passes 7-0 technology I just put together a five-year minimum plan that we need to think about so that we kind of have an idea what's going to cost us you know we kind of we're currently probably have 50 percent of our teachers using over 10-year technology once the updates are gone and what's bad you get so many people that need to be updated the class gets to be a lot higher I would prefer to go x amount every year somebody knows and it's
a little bit easier transitions so I put I did that with the rotation for computers for our staff you know went down for next year I recommend pre-k through three teachers 24 25 the four through eight teachers 25 through 26 the 9 through 12 teachers 26 27 Administration in 27-28 would be open as needed and possibly start the rotation giving teachers a choice between Macs and windows with the Max and a longer rotation than that in the windows The Backs will stay in rotates and last longer than the windows and the updates will run out and if I say this up the wrong Scott as far as a tech but I know the windows will expire quicker than the max but it also gives us an idea of what how to proceed and how much
money each year we do get that small little school Grant that's available this year because of the additional devices that were purchased Chromebooks and uh iPads through the connectivity fund that we have so many of them that we have about for this year we don't have to buy anything so we we're looking at possibly the smart TV is teaching devices some of what some people do not have Smart Boards yet some of them have problems but we want to make sure that we can produce so many a year so that we can eventually get to the point that everybody can have that device that would like to teach you from uh I believe smart boards are probably on their way out and smart TVs are coming in that's been technology for about four years now
smart TVs so but that is a just a planning tool that I put together if anybody have any questions or thoughts on that so my ideas if I come and say okay this is what we're looking for we'll hope we'll get three if there's a way we could get four or five we will uh but we need to do minimal stuff every year so we don't get caught if they checked some of your appreciate you setting up that rotation and putting it down pretty clean there where's our computers at now I mean are we talking five years old 10 years old so over half of the teen years 23rd their 2013 over half of them yeah the windows are the window machines most of those are fives and fives there are a couple establishments was
probably a little bit higher I want to say the higher tier Chromebooks they're not the right like they use Chromebooks because most of everything they use is cloud-based okay I will tell you they expire quicker though the problems updates will expire quicker than the other team but the other day probably if you were less dollars to them do you think that we'll be able to hold out to get to everybody in that rotation or people well if they know what it's coming I mean you know and we can so there may be some people in that group that will be able to switch out the high school sheep is still a lot better than what somebody else they will give that machine for a while if they want to like Pre-K three let's say I've
got some machines in there that are better than going to try to use it in those other groups we may put it over there until when they wait for their location just recycle them into a living area any further questions okay moving on to the fundraiser uh several place you had cheerleaders are requested a fundraiser look at the calendar fundraising or apple basically to ensure some of their needs they have for this year again we do have a new coach talking about pom-poms and things like that it's uniformly purchase by the school correct School purchase you the following uniforms with cheerleading so it's other items all right so hand it to you know organizations try to help feed them sometimes that are out of town you know they're also out of town it comes up
with a travel deal because they're out of town and stuff also um fundraiser profession from Roger Josh the further questions comments bearing none all those in favor say aye aye and they opposed same sign motion passes 7-0 Mr President I moved the board government executive session pursued to the Kansas open meeting act and to get discussed non-elected Personnel for the topic of resignations supplemental positions certified staff classified staff and administration protect the privacy of an individuals to be discussed with Mr Larry present and return to the Open session in this room had we're gonna need more than 30. possible you could come in and take action at 30 possibly go back it's a motion on the table the second trend question all those in favor say aye Tyler and the opposed same time motion passes

a basketball camp she can Emily Ryan will be having a basketball camp at Central Plains High School it was sponsored by the wreck and I have 25 students signed up for driver's ed and we will begin next Monday Fitness support that's it there's a little late well I don't think you got anyone to mention that oh yeah you did if he if he's a great if he's old enough he got it and I've made announcements several times if you're if you are interested in driver's ed please come pick up a yeah if you're interested I've received some payments already too so if kids are bad enough but he needs one because he was too young he missed the cutoff Last Time by a week oh yeah yeah having come talk to me yeah I'm ripping
okay maybe he just didn't work well they've been gone a lot okay I'm gonna go ahead and start um first they've already announced about the Catholic Diocese request to withdraw the police about a week and a half ago to meet sr3 proposal we've completed an air quality study that was required we have an environmental impact letter ready to go and I'm waiting for the historical site review we're not on the historical site so I don't think there'll be a problem with that and then it'll determine whether sr3 is approved for it not going to start the process until I'm sure but it's going to be approved I love that test Bill what's that did you hear any results on that test air quality yeah really good in our favor when you have to have any
kids gym and stuff it's not supposed to be like I forget 1200 and it was 1400. Okay so yeah okay just a short review of Senate bill 113. just a couple of things about Senate bill 113. it has been passed by both houses not signed by the governor has not been written yet it's not been completely dropped at this time people who review it haven't had a chance to review it because it's not told me about it that's considerable one which is a lot of our finance bill it does increase the base of the three-year CPI average to 5088 48 46 this year on base day eight uh general fund will be used the higher your current year enrollment or prior year enrollment except if you close the building and you will use only current
year enrollment on September 20th has not been signed by the government of the people because I don't know so that's the way it stands at this point oh also they're going to increase the cost of living allowance for that they're also going to pay our state Aids on time this year normally they don't pay us in July or June they wait till July if the new fiscal year and pay us but this year they're going to pay us in June because the cash balance of the states are very high maybe it had 7.5 million to special ed state aid they're going to create a special education task force they extended the high density at risk funding to sunset July 2027. which also matches the date for the expiration of our current funding formula as it
stands today 2027. that formula I don't know how long an appointment has been it's been adjusted but the formula itself has been in place for a long time schools who accept students from a closed School we'll be able to use their low enrollment waiting Factor the higher the prior year Factor or current year factor and it will freeze it for three years so if you get more students you're low enrollment waiting normally goes down it's a lighter it's not as heavy weighty because you got more students but you take students from a closed building they will be able to keep their low enrollment waiting for three years without it going down so increases the amount of state aid for students significantly they added a million dollars of school safety grants which shows applications are not
out yet I am prepared to apply for it as soon as it is available it will be a matching Grant based on your enrollment traditionally we get eight or nine thousand dollars for that Grant traditionally and then you got to match it I have a project already quoted for that to apply for that Grant when it comes out I'll repeat that school safety Grant well I'm going to get eight or nine thousand dollars about Millions they also added I had added a million I needed there's an acronym myself and what that stands for I should have looked like this yeah to look it up they have all these acronyms in here I know most of them and then you're just looking over my shoulders I read and she's it's just letters it's not really words
the ominous spill budget Bill the city Bill 25 event passes they'll have three billion for mental health intervention teams on that Grant this district has never applied before a review to see if we want to apply for mental health intervention team Grant in the state they expanded the TL tclissp eligibility which is tax credit if it comes down to get a tax credit for private schools is what that stands for I abbreviated a little bit but they increase the eligibility the people are eligible for that uh non-public students May participate in public Asia activities this one you like local school board members can be compensated now for this bill for this bill it's up to the board by the district uh yeah besides the legislature has the first right of refusal of cell of District
buildings and they have 45 days to decide if you had a district building to sell the state would have first right of refusal just so you know that the state can refuse the sale of any building in this bill and they have 45 days to decide example would be for last building is sold that that would have had their approved by the state before it could happen nope in the past it's been passed by both outside but not signed and it hasn't been written in a draft so somebody can look at it yet so these are just high points that they're getting out of conference committee events and we hope to have it written so that people can read it and tell us interpret it because I will tell you it's going to be very
lengthy and hard to interpret when it comes out uh also just a reminder in this uh some policies they have open enrollment the 24-25 year which means non-resident children or staff may enroll as residents all the students may be considered residents uh military children have priority for the lottery so at 24 25 students can go wherever they want without being approved but I will tell you that before then that will be looking at policies to set how many total kids we can have in the class and that's been an effective thing outside District you could put it back so and that's what eligible has adopted those okay the last thing I need to ask is also is for Wilson graduation I need you to get a number also for that so anybody got a 10
the most of graduation okay I'll try to be there okay 10 o'clock on Saturday 10 o'clock outside 10 o'clock on Saturday also I approved Don cars today had two benches on for Memorial money at the football field at Wilson when I approved for him to take him and relocate him of his choice I thought that was okay uh it's been interested to do it was sitting there sitting out there in a memory of I'm not sure the cars and Memorial money pay for suspensions in memory of and they're going to relocate those to a different area that's all that was fun also Vietnam traveling world will be getting started right on that corner tomorrow I believe they're here around I don't know what round one 1 40 they're going to leave and go down Main
Street down highway four tournament Hoisington and they'll be located in Great Bend for a while that traveling for the Vietnam travel students our students will be out here tomorrow okay any questions on that for me that's all I have oh I forgot the bad I didn't want to talk about that much our health insurance is going out seven eight point seven seven percent this year which no increase is the last two so the average is good but it's never good when you jump 8.7 so uh that option D is going from 507 to 535 that's a single high deductible plan see the dollars is included there I'll skip that one too okay that made it now that may come up anyway I put down to discuss the petition to disorganize uh been in contact with
County Clerk if that's filed tomorrow then we'll set a an election cannot be before July 1st per stage statute there's already going to be a let's in August one I don't know if that'll be it or not determined at a later date of the contact state board and so forth I just think it's important if we get to that point to try to educate all patrons like what yes or no means district has to pay for a special election only uh yes so and to my knowledge right now I tell you A lot of people are trying to figure this out right now it's hard to get answers but yes I anticipate that if it's a special it may even be a cost even on a Franklin because there is a chance a primary would
not be necessary because you have to have so many people file in a city or school lexic to have a private okay I don't know if that's going to happen so that's all I have there any board member reports um there has been a lot of talk recently about developing uh kind of information developing a booster club I know it's been talked about in class I think for activity Maybe going to get moving on it and stuff so pretty excited about that I've heard of I've also heard of possibly an endowment or something I know some of the top things people have talked about is the track and uh possible clothes for expansion and then also just being able to provide support for all of our partners like the art but I'm using the FFA
whether it be helping pay for transportation or meals but that was some stuff that I had occurred and I was pretty excited and happy to hear about good thing I would encourage that I don't know we've talked about having Community meetings or something that to really get the ball along with all that so one of the things that as I was a good thing is just to have open communication and liaison between entities anything else okay in any openages items I wanted to throw out an idea I don't know about hunter's education in school in high school trapped a few people ask me I don't know I know my son has talked about the truth there was one thing that was vetoed and not overridden was kind of safety in school so we can't do
that I don't know if you can't do it I would just saying this it's not mandatory on that statute sub schools I know have trap and I know 4-H is kind of trap shoots also I don't know about gun safety it's real time for crypto they can be I know there are some districts but what I believe that bill was about was using that particular yeah you required to use that curriculum yeah I think some have hundreds safety but I really love that but I know the Trap Teams man they're getting more and more popular my nephew is on one at Council Grove oh yeah are they saying she's out of school though or are they uh private I know there I know a lot of schools that have it but they are not School
sponsored you know what I mean because of you're not supposed to have Firearms property I can't have it on school property right but I mean I don't even know if a lot of our school sponsored but here's an email I got like 15 teams in the league or approved to use the school's name the entry or the club activity through the school that means periods 6 or 12 are eligible must have knee issue safety certificate or Runners so sent to me yeah I I hear you I don't at least the ones that I know of are not sponsored by the school like these two schools yeah this school doesn't pay for they get out private owners it could be Club that's what I heard him say I heard him say Club in that statement Rush
county is the 4-H County 4-H sponsors the team collect some information to get that out anything else yeah items for next month's agenda Professor three personnel handbooks student fees District property against the insurance along with purpose comp insurance renewals okay but 25th for sure 20 seconds sorry I have 20 seconds okay you the meaning if there's nothing else I would entertain a motion to occur so let's see okay Emotion by Allison second by Josh of all those in favor say aye aye no same sign thank you everybody
