Please rise for the pledge of allegiance. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. >> May I have a roll call, please? >> Mr. Brockson, >> here. >> Mr. Evans, >> here. >> Mr. Bay >> here. >> Miss, sorry, Miss Stern. >> Miss Stern is uh unable to attend this evening. She required notice. >> Miss Schmidt >> here. >> Miss Angelhart >> present here. >> Miss Getty >> here. >> Mr. Miller >> here. Uh introduction of others. Present. >> Business manager. >> Ben Hower True Love Solicitor's Office. >> Thank you. Uh we've had uh two executive sessions uh since our last meeting. Mr. Hower, you have the details on them? >> Yes,

Mr. President. Uh on Monday night at 7 p.m. the board met in virtual executive session with Mr. True Love, Dr. Doer, and myself. The subject was personnel that concluded at 7:38. Tonight, the board along with myself met the executive session again on personnel that began at 6:15 and ended at 6:55. >> Thank you. Uh we have one committee report uh from the for this evening. U Mrs. Getty for the tech school. >> Thank you. I wanted to get the report because we have a meeting coming up next week and I just wanted to follow up. Um we met on Monday, November 24th in the tech school boardroom. We voted on personnel items, approval of solicitors fees, policies, budgetary transfers, but what I wanted to bring to everybody's attention is the approval of the student quota.

So the base number will be 425 9th graders for the 2026 2027 school year. Um Marsville will be allotted between 11 and 14. Chances are it's going to be 11 um nth grade seats. They received over a thousand applications during the open house that they held. Um, and our next meeting is scheduled for this coming Monday, December 22nd at 7:30 p.m. in the boardroom with PIA starting at 6:30 prior to the meeting. Thank you. >> Thousand applicants, not just from Morrisville, but from all the districts. >> From all the districts. >> Just making it clear. Thank you. Any questions uh regarding the tech school hearing? None. Uh Dr. Doster is not here this evening, so we don't have a superintendent report, but Mrs. Oski is here. Do you have anything here for the business office?

>> Um I'll keep it brief. Um we continue smooth operations in the business office. We're mainly catch caught up with all of our uh payment of bills with exceptional POS. are still catching up and trying to um get all of them in order for continuation payments, hoping to pay them before the the break. We um we continue to work on the budget. We are expecting everyone to complete the budget for 26 27 expenditures that return back to us tomorrow. I do have a preliminary number for revenues as of right now and we're keeping everything status quo. So, I'll have more of that in January. That's pretty much it for the business office and congratulations on my 2-year anniversary today. >> Congratulations. >> Thank you for everything that you do in the business office. I know

you hit the ground running and um I'm uh it's been a pleasure working with you. >> Thank you. >> Uh any uh discussion questions uh for business office at this time? >> Um I just have a question. I know um we had a lot of not paid because of the state and you know waiting on that. Um are we at the point now that our funds will carry us through June or are we with the cash flow we have been presently or with the subsidies that to be coming because not all subsidies have been delivered they'll be delivered on monthly basis at the end of the month each month so we should be okay. we'll continue to encounter our normal, you know, um challenge that challenge that we encounter by May where, you know, we

run low on um district funds and subsidies and all of that and we continue to uphold or limit our um our payments to carry us to the end of the school year and then pay them once we get the lump sum of real estate taxes in August. There there are current challenges is going to continue to happen. We we continue to have underfunded revenues versus expenditures and expenditures has come back. >> Okay. And do we have now the ability to borrow come June or are we still not able to borrow anymore? >> Until we finish the completion of the 2324 audit, we are very on that. Right. Okay. Y. >> So, what's the status of the >> um I touched base with them the other day. They're still working on it. We are still sending

um a couple more items from the district that we are waiting for my uh colleagues to provide. They've not provided them yet. So, we're working. >> Can I ask that for the January meeting you have some information about the charter school reform and how it's going to affect our district at all? from my understanding is no other information. Do you see what they provided so far? Like the the form hasn't been updated yet or like I don't have >> because I was under the impression that it was supposed to be from the beginning of the school year. >> Yeah, the form has not been updated yet. It's still the old PD 363 form. >> Fantastic. >> Joy, thank you. Maybe that'll be another few months down the road before that gets approved. >> Great. >>

Bucks County Community College for dual enrollment and high school enrichment programs as presented. So moved. Do I have a second? >> Second. >> Mrs. Yeti. Any discussion? It's nice to be able to see us moving forward with uh both of these programs. uh in the past there's been confusion in regards to what's the difference between dual enrollment and high school enrichment, what are we actually providing and so forth. So this is providing some clarification and what uh goals are for students enrolled in in these uh in these programs. So uh thanks to everyone involved at this stage that was able to uh make this happen. Any other discussion? All in favor I >> oppose abstain. Motion carries 70 11.2 2. And motion is in order to approve Anastasia Latnikova from Holy Family University to conduct

So move. Do I have a second? >> Second by M. Schmidt. Any discussion? All in favor? >> I >> oppose abstain. Motion carries. 70 11.3. A motion is in order to approve the 2026 meeting schedule and public notice for the board of directors. So move. Do I have a second? >> Second. >> Mrs. Any any discussion? Just so that everyone knows um in November the uh meetings would have been moved up by a week. uh which would mean that our work session would be on the second Wednesday of the month and our board business meeting would have been on

the third Wednesday of the month instead of the third and the fourth respectively. Um because of the Thanksgiving holiday they got moved up. Unfortunately, uh scheduling wise uh Veterans Day happens on November 11th which is the second Wednesday of the month. So, we're not going to have a work session that meeting. There's only going to be one meeting that month. Uh, as far as the full board goes, it'll be a little bit more lengthy because we will have our committees of the whole during that meeting. Uh, as well as committee reports and everything else that would have happened during the work session. We're just going to go ahead and go right on into the the business meeting. So, there won't be a review of of the agenda uh the week before. So, um try to

remind everybody during that time, but just uh heads up that uh you'll want to be able to look at in advance of that agenda to make sure that things are set the way that we want them set um prior to the meeting. >> Any other discussion? >> All in favor? I >> I >> oppose abstain. Motion carries 70 11.4 motion is in order to accept the resignation of Dr. Andrew Doster as superintendent of the school district of Burough of Morrisville effective no later than March 5th, 2026 unless mutually agreed uh depending upon pending solicitors review. >> So moved. Do I have a second? Second Schmidt. >> Any discussion? >> Um, I just had a question. Uh, normally it's listed under executive content and I don't see anything attached. Do not get the letter >> the

resation. >> Yeah, the res. >> I received an email. So there was no >> So there was no >> there was no letter there was no nothing else just >> correct. Okay. >> I didn't provide anything. Got it. >> I just have to say for those who are following along, who have been with us for years watching what's going on, yes, we've had a revolving door of administrators. Um, despite contracts that call for four or five years, they tend to leave sooner. And there's a reason for this. We are an underfunded school district. without having proper funding. This is going to be a continuing issue. The current superintendent went on the TV. He did interviews and proclaimed to the state the difficult situation we are in with our funding and we continue to have no

resolution which means that this is going to be a continuing problem in the Morrisville school district. It is not fair to our students. They deserve better. Um, even if there's less than a thousand of them, they deserve the same thing that the school district next to us gets, the same opportunities, but they don't because of the underfunding. It is not fair to the staff and administrators who have to constantly adjust to the new superintendent who is stepping in. and it is not fair to the community as they watch this turmoil within the school district. So, I don't know what we have to do to get the state's attention. It seems like we've done everything that I can think of, but the underfunding is causing more things to occur than just reduction in programs. We cannot

maintain personnel. And I am just tired of it. And I think there are other people who are sitting on this side of the table that are tired of it as well. And I believe the staff of this district are tired of it. And I just want our state reps, our state senators, our PTE to hear us and do something because this is not going to change unless our funding changes. Thank you. >> Thank you. >> Any other discussion? >> Can we do a uh roll call vote on this, please? >> Mr. Brockington. >> Yes. >> Excuse me. >> Mr. Evans? >> Yes. >> Mr. May? >> Yes. >> Miss Getty? >> Yes. >> Miss Angelhart? >> Yes. >> Miss Schmidt? >> Yes. Mr. Miller. >> Yes. Motion carries 70. >> 11.5. A motion is in

order to advertise the position of superintendent and to authorize the school district as administration and solicitor to take all steps deemed necessary and proper, including but not limited to working with the Bucks County Intermediate Unit number 22, to hire an interim and/or permanent superintendent subject to further board action. So move. Do I have a second? >> Second. >> Smith. Any discussion? >> As Mrs. Getty has mentioned, we've been through this before uh and we're going to do it again. Um and uh in the past, we have worked with the IU uh they've helped facilitate the the interviews, they've helped facilitate the postings. um they're a good partner in this process. Um, in the end, it's the board's decision, but, uh, we are looking to most likely reach out to the community, uh, find out what

their interests are, as we've done in the past, uh, to the point where we would hopefully have another, um, meet and greet, uh, once a candidate has been, um, approved. um and then uh we'll go from there. But uh again, it's the uh it's a process that we're unfortunately all too familiar with. Any other discussion? All in favor? I >> oppose. Motion carries. 70. We have no announcements on the uh agenda other than uh I just want to wish everybody in our community whether you're in the schools or you're not. Um no matter how you celebrate this holiday season, I hope uh it is a joyous one. I hope it is a healthy one. I hope it is a safe one and um I wish everyone uh a happy new year as well and that

is also as healthy and uh joyous for for you all. Any other announcements from the board? Moving on to public comment for non-aggenda items wish to speak. Hearing none. Motion to adjurnn. So move. Do I have a second? >> Second by mishmid. All in favor? I >> oppose. Abstain. Motion carries. 70. Good night everyone. Thank you.
