Uh, welcome to the CHS podcast. We're here to talk about art. Um, I'm joined by Briley Bosch. Hi. Um, let's get started, I guess. I didn't think of an intro. Where do you get inspiration? I get a lot of my inspiration from things that I see, um, beautiful or really just either out of the ordinary or overly perfect. I don't really have an in between. Um, I like drawing a lot of sunsets and things that are just overly beautiful to be nature. Yeah, and I also get a lot of inspo from my family and my friends around me because they give me a lot of my ideas for what I draw and what I paint. Well, speaking of painting, what is your favorite medium? My favorite medium is probably a lot of charcoal work. Um,

I like just straight line drawing a lot. And I also like a lot of pastel work. It's very difficult to work with, but it's definitely fun to use. I will say that. Uh, what do you like making art of the most? Probably either people or surroundings. I really like to draw, um, landscapes and like forests with maybe an animal in it or just very simple yet extraordinary things to see. What what got you into art? I started art when I was younger because my family have always been super into, um, art things. My aunt was a beautiful artist. My dad's a really good artist. And as I grew up, I grew up around singing, which that brought me into the world of music and art around that. And then I learned how to draw from

YouTube videos and continued that until now where I just draw cuz it makes me happy. Uh what other forms of art do you enjoy? Um I like a lot of musical like I said and I also like um it's not necessarily an art but like martial art. Um I do lots of wrestling and things that will beau- beauty. I really like the beauty of things and that's everything around that I just fall in love with like nature. Just pictures, I take a lot of pictures. So you're also into photography? Yeah, a little bit. Do you often take photos or rarely? I take photos of things that I see that really make me like want to take the picture. I take a lot of pictures of sunsets, flowers, butterflies, insects. Um I don't take very many

people photos but I think it's nice to capture the moment of things that need to be shared or that can be shared. Uh favorite artist? My favorite artist is probably hm There's a lot of them out there. I will say um I will say my father actually. He writes a lot of music and part of the reason I started singing also so probably say my dad. Does he have any like socials that he posts his art on? He has TikTok and he's very into TikTok. Um but other than that he doesn't like to show his music as much but I have heard a lot of it and I think that he should so. Uh do you have any like What's the word? Like something to tell people who want to get into art? If you

want to do art you need to try it because it's something that is every there's some form of it for everyone and it doesn't matter how old you are how young you are or how good of it you can do or how little you can you can try it because there's something for everyone. So if you're not good at drawing maybe you're an incredible painter. I can't paint. I'm not very good at painting but I can draw and I have plenty of people that want to try art but just don't think they'd be good enough for it and you can't let fear stop you especially in something that you're just trying to show feelings and how you want to create something. So you're you really have to let yourself just do it and I feel

like if you want to and it's something that you see in your future 100% try it because there's nothing wrong with trying something and if you don't like it you don't have to do it but if you don't then you'll miss out. Are you planning to continue doing art things in the future? Yes, I believe that I'm going to continue doing art um hopefully all of my life. I'm not sure if I'll go into anything specifically job wise for my art but I do want to share my work with people and I write a lot of music and sing a lot like make my own music but I I believe that when I get old enough to actually show it off it will be worth it so hopefully. Is there any way people now can

see whatever you've done if you're willing to show it? Well I am in Bel Canto. So, um you can see me sing at any of our competitions type things, concerts. Um a lot of my art is displayed in the art room. And I mean, you can come up and talk to me and I'll show you my stuff cuz I love showing off my work. She will throw her art at you. I will. It will just full on throw it. Absolutely. >> So, beware anytime you enter that room. Um I suppose that ends it. Thank you for coming in. Thank you for having me. Yeah. Goodbye.
