A reorganization meeting of the Pleasant Valley School District shall be held Thursday, December 4th, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Valley District Office. This meeting was scheduled and approved at the December 5th, 2024 school board meeting. Um, at this time, we will accept any public comment on board reorganization meeting agenda items. These

items are items 1 through 13 only on the agenda. If you have any comments on those items, you can come to the podium. Okay, seeing none, we'll move on. Um, it is time to take nominations for a temporary president. I will now take nominations for the election of a temporary president. >> I could nominate Diane Surface. >> I don't think she focusing on the people who are mid midterm midterm the midterm individuals. >> Um, yourself for instance. No, not you. I know >> Matt Walters. >> Are there any other nominations for temporary president? Okay. Um, since there's only one candidate, um, I move for M Mr. Walter's election as temporary board president. All in favor? >> I. >> Any opposed? >> Motion passes. Mr. Walters, you can continue with the meeting. >> Yeah. >> Let

me just I may just take a moment, see how long this lasts. Might be my only opportunity here as a president. No. Um All right, let's go to number eight at this time. Um, I'm going to ask for nominations for the election of the board president. Do I have any nominations for board president? >> I have a nomination. Am I allowed to nominate? >> Yes. >> Okay. So, uh, I'm honored to stand here before you tonight nominate a candidate for Port Royal School Board President. Over the past year, our community has faced challenges as well as opportunities to strengthen our district. >> During this, that's not how No, you just make the nomination. There there can be >> there can be discussions about the the >> Oh, afterwards, >> but we move the person on

onto consideration. >> Okay. Um I nominate John. >> Okay. >> Do I have any other nominations? >> I nominate Sue Kresy. >> Okay. Are there any other nominations? >> All right. Is this the where I go to? >> Motion. Motion to close. >> All right. Motion to close nominations. >> So move >> and the nominations are closed. Uh do we have discussion? >> Thank you. Um so over the past year our community has faced challenges. >> Um Oh, there we go. So, um I'm honored here to nominate a candidate for the important role of school board president. Over the past year, our community has faced challenges as well as opportunities to strengthen our district. During this time, one individual who has consistently shown commitment to listening, collaborating, and keeping the needs of all students and

stakeholders at the forefront. The role of a board president requires a leader who can set constructive tone, bring people together, and keep our focus on student achievement, meaningful learning, and overall well-being. It calls her um integrity, steady character, and willingness to hear all viewpoints before making informed decisions, always with students mastery of curriculum in mind. Many voters and community members approach me asking that I nominate John Gazyski for this role, and I understand why. He reflects the qualities our district needs and earns respect across the community, from parents and teachers to staff administration. I've personally seen his ability to engage in open and respectful dialogue even when discussions are difficult. As we look ahead, it's clear Pleasant Valley would benefit from his um earning that position. I believe John is well prepared to lead us

there. >> Yep. Go ahead, please. >> To identify myself again. I would just wanted to speak about this because I Sue I I respect everything that you have done and you continue to do and you will still be here but I do support that John would be nominated. I was one of the people that stood up in that moment a year ago. I think it was in the auditorium and I was against um not having term limits on that position because I think that good leaders and you have led Sue good leaders should pass on that leadership to other other other ones of us who are here and ready to serve and that's why I would support John for this position please. Thank you. >> Any other comments from the board? >> All right. And

how we do them >> person by person roll call >> call indicate who they're voting for. >> Okay, we can we start a roll call for indication of the voting please. >> John Gazitski. >> Okay. Robert Clark, >> Sue Kresy, >> Ryan O'Keefe, >> John Kazooi, >> Matt Walters, >> Sucres, >> Norm Burger, >> Sue Kresy, >> Diane Surface, >> Sucres, >> Janet Jun, >> John Kaziki. >> Okay. Uh Denise Holley, John Kazinski, Sue Kreski. This is very difficult for me because I do not like to vote for myself. I I I showed that last a year ago. Um but um I don't know what would happen if I abstained. So at this time I will vote for myself. >> Okay. I have um John 4 you five. >> Thank you. All right. >> Okay.

All right. We need nominations for uh the office of vice president of the board. >> I have a nomination. >> Sure. >> Mr. Rhino, >> I accept that nomination. >> I um I nominate Matt Walers. >> Um thank you. Um I I've done my year as vice president. I respectfully decline that at this time. Thank you. >> Are there any other nominations? Can I please nominate John? Is it again, please? >> Pitch your mic. Picture your mic. No, the green. There it is. >> I would like >> It's not that easy. You see not talking. >> I said I I will always remember what it what it means to be on the other side. Um, if I could please nominate John Kaziki. I'm sorry I always say your name incorrectly, but for the vice president

position. Thank you. >> Are there any other nominations? Okay. Okay. Can I have a motion to close nominations? >> I so move. >> Second. >> Okay. All in favor to close. >> I >> All right. Uh we will proceed to the roll call, please. >> Denise Hopeley. >> John Gaziki. >> Norm. >> John. >> Diane Surface. >> Ryan. >> Matt Walters. Ryan. Okay. Robert Clark, >> Ryan O'Keefe, >> Sue Kresky, >> Mr. O'Keefe, >> Ryan O'Keefe, >> abstain. >> Gazyski, >> abstain. No disrespect, but it was abstain. >> Janet Juner, >> John Kazinski. >> Okay. and John Kazitki. >> So, it's one more >> four. >> All right. At this time, it's a tie vote. Do we have to have go with new nominations again? The whole thing. >> Okay. Um, okay. I need to

ask for nominations again. >> So, >> is there a discussion period when we have the >> after we have the nominations? >> So, we're nominating again. >> Yes. Yes. >> I'd like to nominate Mr. O'Keefe. I'll accept it on a second round. >> Are there any other nominations? >> I'll nominate again. We'll try one more time. I will John Kaziki again. >> Okay. Are there any other nominations? Could I have a motion to close nominations? >> Motion moved. >> Second. >> Okay. All in favor of closing nominations. Okay. >> All right. Now, is there any discussion? They brought it up. I just >> Oh, okay. All right. Okay. >> All right. Hearing of none. If we could please have roll call, please. >> Janet Jun. >> Robert Clark. >> Right. O'Keefe. >> Sue Kresky. Mr.

O'Keefe. >> Diane Surface. >> Mr. O'Keefe >> John Gazitzki >> Norm Burgerer >> Ryan O'Keefe >> Denise Holley John Gaziki >> Ryan O'Keefe >> abstain >> Matt Walters >> Okay, so at this time Mr. O'Keefe has been elected vice president of the board by a 53 vote. Congratulations. >> Thank you. Thank you. >> Miss. >> All right. Uh, moving on to item number 10, MCTI joint operating committee. Uh, PSBA liaison, PSBA voting delegate. Um, Mrs. Surface's uh, term expires December of 2025. She does wish to u remain at on the MCTI board. Um, Mr. Galler was also there and his um term expires December of 26. So we do need someone to fill that position that one-year uh position of Mr. Gallers. Um >> that's not something that that Rob >> No, >> I'm filling

that. >> I mean um >> yeah, >> Mr. Mr. Burgerer has been there previously. >> Be happy to serve at the good wishes of the board. >> Do you have time to do that? Because I know you're all over the place. >> Well, if I get my other books done, I'll >> All right. So, you're you're okay with that? All right. >> I'm fine with that. >> All right. Um, do I have to take a vote? >> Can I do it all? appointment point appointment power >> it doesn't say but I thought it was appointment but um I'll take a vote at the end once let me do all the others and then we'll do it all at once okay so uh we do need a PSBA >> liaison so okay but I think there's

votes over here >> okay >> with excuse me >> is there any other interest I didn't hear anybody speak up >> no I didn't hear anybody all right um also um PSBA liaison. Um it's a a a one-year term. Uh is anybody interested in um fulfilling that role? >> Mrs. Doner, would you like to fill that? >> I would like to. >> Sorry to interrupt your question. Just >> I guess not. >> I think I'm an alternate right now, too. Right. I think I believe I'm an alternate >> for what? >> PSBA. I'm pretty sure I am. >> Oh, are you? >> I think I was Mel's backup. Yeah. >> Oh, okay. Um, >> no, she's hopefully she's fine. >> Janet, are you interested? >> The voting is the voting. >> No, it's that's separate.

Yeah. >> Just the same person. >> So, basically it can. Yes. In answer to that question, um, basically being the PSBA liaison is you bring information to the board of what's happening at PSBA or any new legal stuff. Although Mr. Fitzgerald does that a lot, but um you can do that too. >> I I believe it's like a webinar if I remember correctly. It's like when you sit just you sit on like a webinar Zoom. >> No, that's the that's the voting piece. >> Oh, that's the voting piece. >> Yeah. This is the other there's two different things here. >> That's I noticed there was two as I'm asking if this hopefully is is interested in one. I would, >> you know, reflect to the other and do the other. It doesn't whatever I can

do to help. So >> whatever she feels more I'm okay with that. >> Is this a position respectfully both of you? Is this a position that maybe would be beneficial with some board experience first or is this something that they can jump into? >> You can jump into the le I served as PSBA liaison for many years. It it's pretty easy. Yeah. So, um are we >> I think she expressed it so that's >> okay. So, all right. So, Denise, you're >> okay with the liaison piece? Okay. And um the PSBA voting delegates um Mrs. Mr. Surface had been one and then Mr. Galler was the other. But Mrs. Duner, would you like to Okay. So, uh, Tammy, it would be Mrs. Surface and Mrs. Duner because they have to go on to um PSBA.

Um, do they have to be approved? >> We can just do all those in favor of those. >> Okay. Everyone in favor of of those appointments, >> I >> Okay. Did you have something, John? >> I did you say? >> Oh, yeah. All in favor? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Oh, you were saying I. I thought we had a question. >> Anybody else saying I? >> Okay. >> All right. All right. Are there any Pleasant Valley School District board members that have any comments at this time? >> Comments on what? >> Uh, just the reorger in general. Yep. >> All right. Dr. Conrad, any comments in this part? >> Uh, yeah. Actually, just a couple comments. First off, uh, congratulations to President Mrs. Gresky and Vice President, uh, Mr. O'Keefe. Um, I look forward to all

of us working together. You know, obviously, it's a shared responsibility, but I think important more importantly, it's a a shared commitment to um, the students and community, and that's something that I think we have uh, you know, taken steps and we've strived and we continue to strive to uh, to work collaboratively uh, to have really good dialogue. um you know and and uh have really fruitful discussions about you know the direction that our district is heading. So I look forward to those discussions and uh you know again uh look forward to the the dialogue and uh the mutual respect that you know we'll share obviously amongst ourselves but also in regards to the community because we're all here for the students and that's what we need to continue to focus our priorities on. So look

forward to our progress. Thank you. >> At this time, I'd like to adjourn the reorganization meeting and call our regular board meeting to order. Everyone in favor of that? >> Yes. >> Okay. All right. >> Yeah, he's your That's true. >> All right. We have to do the roll call. >> Um I think we should for the minutes. >> Okay. All right. Could I have roll call, please? >> Absolutely. >> Burger here. Robert Clark >> here. >> Janet Jun >> here. >> Don Kazitki >> here. >> Denise >> here. >> Sue Ky >> present. >> Ryan O'Kee >> present. >> Diane Surface >> present. >> And Matthew Walters >> here. >> Okay. Thank you. Um our student Okay. I'd like to let you know that we did have a brief executive session. uh prior to

the beginning of the meeting on December the 4th, 2025 uh for personnel matters including but not limited to performance and our discipline negotiations and legal issues. I do not see our student um government president with us this evening. So we'll move on to community questions. Dr. Conrad, did we have any this evening? >> No, there were no community questions submitted. Um I just want to take a moment as well just to then clarify. I know we've had some discussions uh during our public meetings just about community questions and again our board still values uh the questions that are being submitted. Uh what we've been seeing sometimes is they might be um individualized questions and some of them are a little bit more global. So you know as a board and and as a uh you

know team of 10 what we've decided is that uh we're still going to have the opportunity for the questions to be submitted. those questions will then be uh receive an answer from myself or you know in collaboration with my team and what we're finding too through some of our discussions are that there are others that have you know similar questions if for example it's about you know where do I obtain information about you know scholarships um we can put that under a newly created page frequently asked questions that then helps others to see you know um and um locate answers to questions that they also may have that are less individualized. So there'll always be opportunities for additional dialogue and we'll continue that. I've met with many uh community members and parents uh over the

years. We want to continue to do that. So I think there's a lot of value in those opportunities and as you all know I mean reaching out to myself and uh our administrators and our administration team when you have questions I think is very uh beneficial. So that way we can engage in some really good dialogue. So that's all. >> I think maybe towards the end of the meeting we can maybe do a tutorial to show how to get to to where those questions are. >> That' be great. >> I just mentioned it so I don't want to put them on the spot but maybe at the end we can >> just give a little tutorial. >> I know a guy. Y >> okay. >> Thank you. >> Thanks. Y >> All right. Um secretar's

report. Mrs. Smail. >> Good evening. Tonight I'm requesting approval of the minutes of the meeting held on November 20th, 2025 and approval of the December 4th, 2025 board meeting agenda. So moved. >> Second. >> I have a motion by Mr. Walter, seconded by Mr. Clark. Is there any discussion? All those in favor, please signify by saying I. >> I. >> Anyone opposed? And that motion carries. At this time, are there any Pleasant Valley citizens that would like to address the board? If so, please come to the podium, state your name, the township you reside in, and it is on agenda items only at this time. Okay, seeing no one approach the podium, we will move on. Mrs. Surface, treasures report, please. >> Yes. Tonight, I'd like to move item number 17A and B. A isformational

only. >> Second. >> I have a motion by Mr. Gaziski and seconded by Mr. Burgerer. Is there any discussion? >> Special education Pennsylvania. What was that? Um, this is an invoice for out of district placement services for three different students. >> Thank you. >> You're welcome. >> Anyone else? >> All those in favor, please signify by saying I. >> I. >> Anyone opposed? >> And that motion carries. Moving on to unfinished business, Mr. Fitzgerald. Uh just very briefly and I'm I'm pleased to report a successful case that that my partner and you know him Tim Gilsbach um argued on behalf of the Parkland school district in front of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania which was a big case for school districts statewide involving the Sunshine Act and and the agendas. If you recall, for the

last about, I'd say year, the Commonwealth Court had precluded amendments to agendas after the 24-hour period prior, which hamstrung a number of districts that may have to do business within those 24 hours and modify the agenda. Well, with with Tim's good counsel, um the Supreme Court found on behalf of the Parkland School District, which reinstates the interpretation that schools had had that agendas can be modified within 24 hours and during the board meeting so long as as a appropriate protocol is followed. Um I'm not suggesting that districts should go back to the habit of doing that, but it does allow on on a on a particular case by case basis for agendas to be modified. So that that was a good report. >> Thank you. Is there any other unfinished business? >> Okay. Hearing of

none, we'll move on to new business. Um Monro Career and Technical Institute. Mrs. Surface. >> Yes. There's nothing this evening. We will meet Monday, December 8th, and that will be their reorg meeting as well. >> Thank you. Uh Mr. Clark, Colonial IU. >> I still have not met with the IU yet. I believe it's uh in two weeks. I know the time. They're they go a little high hiatus in November for >> Okay. Thank you. >> No complaint here. >> Um PSBA liaison, Mrs. Hopeley, I not putting you on the spot, so we'll just >> Nothing at this time. >> Okay, there you go. >> Thank you. >> And I also do not have anything at this time under education. Uh finance report, Mrs. Surface, >> that I'm asking for motions later on in the

agenda under item number 26 and 27. Thank you. Athletics, Mr. O'Keefe. >> Good evening. So, athletics report for the update of this month. Uh, girls volleyball. Huge congratulations to Riley Rogerio for being selected to the 2025 girls volleyball all-star state team. Under cheer, our cheer team will be competing in the EPC's competition on December 10th, 2026. And that'll be held at Eastn Middle School, I believe. So, best of luck to them. Girls and boys basketball. Congratulations to Sebastian Sachi, nominated for the Pocono Records preseason boys basketball player of the year and Ryland Knap nominated for the Pocono Records 2526 preseason girls basketball player of the year. You can vote for both athletes at the Pocono Record until tomorrow, December 5th. Quick winter sports update. Well, Mother Nature threw us a curveball at the start of

the winter season this week. So hopefully for the rest of the season goes much smoother because when it doesn't, our athletic department has to put in the extra work to rearrange games and transportation for all of our student athletes during this winter break. Uh if you have some downtime, please come out and support our student athletes uh with wrestling, boys and girls basketball, uh dance team, anything that's going on. Uh they'd love to see our support from the community to to cheer them on. And that's it. Thank you. >> Thank you, Mr. Keefe. Um, under policy report, there are no policies on this evening um, for approval. Moving on to capital improvement. Mr. Burgerer, >> they need somebody. >> Yeah, just a reminder um, we haven't had any meetings since uh, our last board meeting,

but just a reminder that uh, some classrooms will be changing at the beginning of the year over the JCM. So, uh, parents and and their students should be prepared that to get messages coming forward about that change. Also, there are going to be some minor changes in the traffic pattern and there'll be forthcoming messages relative to that as well. So, it's only reminders of what I had covered at the previous meeting. Thank you. And just for everyone's, we're going to put that on the uh website as well, just as we did for especially for traffic patterns. I know that can be very confusing in the morning. >> Okay. All right. Um Mr. Clark, technology, >> nothing at this time. >> Okay. Thank you. Security, Mr. Walters. >> It's good to see chief and assistant chief

in the audience tonight. Thank you guys for being here. Um no, no information at this time. >> Okay. Citizens Advisory Committee, Mr. Gaziski. Yes, we had a good discussion about the fid days. Um went the whole period, the whole hour. Um we gather a lot of information and in the January working session, um we're going to be discussing that with the board as a whole and anyone in the community that wants to talk about more about the FIDAs. Um during that time, our meeting in January as far as the CAC meeting will be January 7th and the discussion will be starting with cell phones usage in school. That's all. Thank you. >> Thank you. All right, Dr. Conrad. >> All right. Uh, under superintendent report, there is no report. So, moving on to human resources,

Mrs. Lorie Fulmer. >> Good evening. Tonight, I'm seeking approval of items 21B through 21F. Items 21G and 21H areformational. >> So, move second. >> A motion by Mr. Walder, seconded by Mr. O'Keefe. Is there any discussion? I I don't know if they're going to say, but the esport if someone just want to review that is what that esport advisor that position is. >> Sure. Uh, sorry. Thank you. Sure. Um, we uh added the position for uh the ath the comp competitive team in the supplemental contract and we're just getting that off the ground. So, we're doing inter murals right now and they'll be staying after school um so we can get that program up and running and be hopefully competing next year. Okay, thank you. And one other thing that I'm hoping we had a

sad the SADDD advisor at the high school. I'm hoping that someone will step up in our faculty to uh cover that position. It's very important position. Thank you. >> I just have a question with esports also. Backing up. Um, can you explain again you're going to have the mock competitions or there could be mock ones this year and is there also someone else that's in charge of it >> there besides Kyle? >> Right now it's it it's just Kyle. Um, we have a position at the high school level too. Um, that's not filled yet. So, right now we're just in the stages of getting the students to stay after school and they're doing the games and we're working through all of that. I would suspect and I'm going to look at Mr. um that we

hope to do some competitions or mock competitions for next school year. >> And was there another administrator involved? I >> Oh, Mr. V. >> Yeah, >> they're not they're not involved in it, but they know a lot about it. Um so, um >> Mr. who just finished his dissertation, who is Dr. Heir now, um and Mr. Van Borhees are both doing their dissertations on esports. >> Oh, thank you. That's why they know a lot about it. >> Correct. >> Anyone else? All those in favor, please signify by saying I. >> I. >> Anyone opposed? And that motion carries. Okay. I'm also seeking approval of items 22B and 22 C. Item 22D isformational. >> Second. >> I have a motion by Mr. Gaziski, seconded by Mr. Surface. Is there any discussion hearing? None. All those in

favor, please signify by saying I. >> Anyone opposed? And that motion carries. >> Moving on to uh item 23, curriculum. Dr. Rayen Howard. >> Good evening. Tonight, I am seeking approval for item 23A. >> So move. >> Second. >> I have a motion by Mr. Gaziski, seconded by Mr. Walters. Is there any discussion? >> Yeah. So this is what we discussed last time that first weekend, correct? Correct. >> Excellent. Thank you. >> Yeah. Anyone else? All those in favor, please signify by saying I. >> I. >> Anyone opposed? And that motion carries. >> Moving on to operations. Dr. >> Can I can I pause for one second? I'm so sorry. Okay. >> I just wanted to One is for this weekend. The other one is coming up for sure. I did ask also, this is

not on the agenda, but I did ask Mr. Van Vorhees to um provide a little bit of information on some of the new legislation or rules that have come out concerning cyber charter. >> Oh, okay. >> Sure. So, thank you Dr. Howard. Um just a couple things and actually uh Mr. Fitzgerald may actually be better suited to speak on this, but uh we are certainly interested in some of the reforms that have come through for cyber charter schools and how that may affect Pleasant Valley School District as a whole. Um, probably the largest piece that actually came through that there is a change now where students can no longer use cyber charters as an escape for truency. Um, which was quite frequent. We'd had students who as they'd start receiving notices at Pleasant Valley that

they weren't attending school and parents could be brought to court. Um, some children would choose to unenroll from our school and go to cyber charters essentially to try and uh remove themselves from some of those uh possible repercussions. Uh specifically the the new reform states that a child is who is habitually truent uh may not transfer to a cyber charter school uh unless a judge determines it's in the child's best interest. So if they're receiving notifications that they're habitually truent uh they can no longer leave voluntarily. A judge must actually determine that's an appropriate movement for the child. So this may actually help our enrollment numbers moving forward and also help for the accountability of our students with education. Thank you. Thank you. >> And now operations. Dr. Howard. >> Yes. Good evening. Tonight I'm

seeking approval for item 24A. >> So move. >> I have a motion by Mr. O'Keefe, seconded by Mr. Gaziski. Is there any discussion? All those in favor, please signify by saying I. >> I. >> Anyone opposed? And that motion carries. >> Okay, moving on. Under building reports, uh the building reports for December are attached. Again, please take some time, review some of the great work that's happening in the buildings. Uh the students and staff are very busy uh providing exceptional education for our students and uh doing a lot of fun activities as well. So, uh that is there for your viewing pleasure. Any questions about that? >> Okay, moving on to business uh management. Mrs. Tammy Smell. >> I am requesting approval of items 26B through 26E. >> So moved. >> Second. >> Have a

motion by Mrs. Surface, seconded by Mr. Gazyski. Is there any discussion? >> Hearing of none. All those in favor, please signify by saying I. >> I. >> Anyone opposed? >> And that motion carries. >> Thank you. I am also requesting approval of item 27B and 27 C. So moved. >> Second. >> I have a motion by Mr. Burgerer, seconded by Mrs. Hopeley. Is there any discussion? >> Just under contracts. If you could uh for the audience or for the community about the Burks one contract with their purposes, >> the Burke one contract is um a contract basically with Burkheimimer for the act 80 at the end of every year. Um the act 80 report comes out and I'll just give an example. Um, if you live here in Pleasant Valley, but you work in the

Lehigh Valley, the 1% tax that's withheld in your check is supposed to make its way back to your township. Sometimes it the it goes to the township that the employer is at. This report helps us decipher that and get that money if it wasn't returned to any of our townships. >> Thank you. >> You're welcome. >> Let me ask a follow-up question on that. So, some years, um, this is beneficial. Some money gets returned Yes. more than other years. Is it always more beneficial to pay the money for >> we get more than that $700 that we're gonna pay? Yes. >> Make sure >> can >> anyone >> maybe I missed it. Where does that come from? The money. >> Sorry. >> The money. Um it comes from the 1% that's withheld on your paycheck.

Oh, the paycheck. That's right. >> Yeah, your paycheck. >> Thank you. >> Anyone else? All those in favor, please signify by saying I. >> I. >> Anyone opposed? And that motion carries. Uh, Mr. Fitzgerald, >> there is no new business this evening. >> Okay. Thank you. Uh, Pleasant Valley citizens, at this time, is there anyone that would like to address the board on any topic? So, please come to podium, state your name, township you reside in, and there is a threeminut limit. >> Just please come to the podium. again state >> I don't state your the name your name and the township sir >> afterwards maybe >> well it's about sunshine they told me I can't talk so I wanted to ask you solicit >> you can ask you mentioned the sunshine act earlier >>

one afterwards I'll talk to you >> afterwards after >> I was at last night there's school district. They let people that don't live in that district speak. >> Anyone else? >> Definitely not here. >> All right. Uh Pleasant Valley School Directors, does anyone have anything this evening? >> I have a quick uh correction to my cheer competition. It's not 2026 of December 10. It is December 10th, 2025 of this year as I was corrected from the audience. >> All right. >> Um, Mr. Van Rehees, are you ready to do the show and tell? >> Do are we allowed to have one question? >> Yeah, we'll go back. I just want I just have to think of that. >> Sure. >> Yeah, absolutely. Sorry about that. So, we the question earlier was where do the community

questions go to at this point in time? If you go to the website of pvbears.org. Actually, I'll do something even better here cuz we're fancy like that now. Um, I will push it over so the stream can see our computer screen. All right. So, if you go to pvbears.org, which is the homepage, um, and you come up to community, scroll over to community questions and click on it. Right there they are. So, it's under the community tab under our homepage. Thank you. >> Thank you very much. >> Also, that can go back to the homepage just to go back to what Mr. Burger was talking about before. Um to the right hand side you see the high school traffic. So that's where the change updates will be posted >> for the community to see. >>

All right. Pleas school directors. Anyone else? >> Denise. >> I just have one. I heard you say that the Mr. Oh, sorry. Dr. You have your PhD now, correct? >> EDT. Oh, sorry. Oh. Um, so the data are they collecting data for their EDS and are you doing a PhD? What are you doing? >> EDDD as well. >> Ed as well. >> Mhm. >> Okay. So, you're collecting data from the club? >> Uh, I'm actually collecting data from a different school district. Uh, in most cases, it's recommended you do not do data for your own district. >> So, I thought and yours is all done from a different district also. Okay. Will you use any of the data from competitions, Mach or whatever? >> Not from this district. No. >> Okay. I didn't know. So,

I was just asking. Thank you. >> Anyone else? >> Yeah. I just have a couple things. One, probably Dr. Howard could probably answer this. Uh the Pennsylvania State National Civic B essay grade 608 um that opened up. Is that something that we're having our middle school? >> I believe so, but I can't answer that concretely to I would have to check with Miss Fo. >> Okay. Yeah. And I'm just because this is stuff we're reading on the uh stuff that PSBA says and the uh statement of financial interest that's posted on our web page that they're suggesting >> from PSBA. >> All the board members do that every year. I I'll be getting them out to you, >> right? >> Administrators and board members, we have to do it every year. >> Okay. But I'm

just saying it's it's stating there now that it's tried to have it on the web page so it avoids right to know requests and stuff like that. That was in the PSBA. >> That's personal information. I don't want my curious John. John, did PSBA say that? >> I I'll look it up when I get back, but that's where I got I took the stuff off there. That's what I was just looking at. >> And then also, what about our high school counselors? Um, I know we said this before and just for everyone that they do present other career paths for our people besides just a college. Some of these people think it's just a college thing, but no, they do otherwise. >> We start talking about career paths, the counselors in the middle school, >>

so they start talking about so kids can be thinking about what they want to do as they get to high school, >> right? And it's not just college. That's >> Correct. Okay. Thank you. And uh just want to make sure everyone enjoys their I enjoyed the Christmas uh carol that was at the high school. That was a nice play. Very much. And uh happy holidays and a healthy Christmas to everyone and happy new year. Thank you. >> I just want to say welcome to the two new members. I'm excited to to sit here and argue with you for two more years. Um but no, I know that you guys are just as passionate about this the students in the progress of the district because I've seen the two of you here at almost every single

meeting for the last two years. So I appreciate you both on that aspect. Right. Um and I look forward to what we're going to be doing together. >> Thank you. >> It's our pleasure to Oh, sorry. mind. I won't speak for somebody. >> Anyone else? >> Thank you, Mr. Walters, for saying that and thank you for the people that did come tonight to support us and we hope that you will share with the people who are not here that they are welcome to come and continue the dialogue so that we can make PV great because that's always been what we've been aspiring to do. And I remember when first Dr. Conrad came here and we were still in Zoom mode and I remember my words where there's hope yet and that's when we need to

continue is that we we become the best that we all can be for the youth of our community and the young adults of this community who are still searching desperately for homes and jobs right now. So we're here for everyone. Thank you. >> And and remember the u on the front of your packet you have the the voting meetings for next year for 2026. Remember there is also a working session meeting earlier uh in the month each month except for the summer and December. >> Great. Anyone else? Um I would like to congratulate Dr. I'll try to remember to do that. Um and then I would just like to say merry Christmas to all. We are so grateful for our students, families, staff, and neighbors who make our community so special. Wishing you happiness, health,

and togetherness this holiday season. Our community shines brightest when we come together. Here's to a bright new year ahead. Thank you, >> Dr. Gr. >> It's hard to top that and you know, a lot of the comments uh made this evening uh I definitely echo. I definitely look forward to working with Jan and Denise. you know, congratulations and uh you know, I definitely uh look forward to the progress that we'll continue to make and you know, as uh Mr. Jis Jyski and and others have uh said, you know, really wish uh everyone a wonderful holiday season. Um you know, really take the time, you know, to recharge, spend some time with family. It's really important, you know, for for all of us that we we have that togetherness. And, you know, as we look forward,

as as uh Mrs. Kresny said, for a new year, there's always a bright future here. And you know it starts with all of us working together um having some really good discussions. You know sometimes we don't always agree and that's okay but I think you know the level of respect and the decorum that we've communicated and articulated our thoughts and feelings has been very beneficial because it's very important to understand where other people are coming from. So I just wish everyone you know a wonderful holiday season you know and a really happy you know and healthy new year um in the next couple of weeks. So but um that's it. Go Bears. Bears. >> Could I have a meeting to to adjurnn? >> Somebody's got to pick up. >> All right, we are we are

journ. >> Thanks. >> Are you going to get there?
