001foreign Cooper here superintendent of Clearwater schools with a brief video update we are 25 of the way through the school year already it doesn't seem possible but it is the end of the first quarter today and with that comes parent teacher conferences next week so next week on Thursday from 4 to 7 P.M we'll have parent-teacher conferences that evening and then on Friday there's no school for students on Friday October 21st and parent conferences will run from 7 30 a.m to 11 30 a.m so please come see us and we'll have a conversation about some of the great things going on with your kiddos here at school with that it reminds me of our strategic plan and one of our goals I'll be high tech here and pull it up is develop deep relationships and
002engagement so this fits right into parent-teacher conferences we want to build strong positive relationships with folks and one of our bullets under that goal is that we develop Partnerships with parents and Guardians through ongoing two-way dialogue folks focused on the success of your students so that's a big part of what we want to be able to do during parent conferences is have that two-way dialogue and focus on the success of students so lots of things going on this fall the cooler weather is finally nice of course Fall Festival this weekend I got to enjoy that last year see everybody out and about and look forward to that again this year I know tonight we have our little cheer clinic at the home football game at the high school with Wamego coming all the way down
003to play us tonight as I said tons of activities uh seems like there's it's always a busy time of year but I wanted to send out a reminder that we will be having parent conferences next week the only other thing I have is I just want to give a shout out for staff is we're at this uh 25 of the way through school year already um it's been a pleasure to to work with uh staff this year and see them uh in a year where we haven't had to talk about covet or any of those things and I just want to let the community know uh how fortunate we are to have the dedicated staff that we have coming and working with children every day not only do they work hard they have a love
004for kids and a passion to see them be successful so I just want to give a shout out to our staff it's a difficult task sometimes to come and keep a good attitude but that they do it and they do it for kids and they do it for our community so even though this is my third year here I feel like I'm still the new guy and I feel very blessed to to get to work with such dedicated and caring staff members so um just wanted to to share that with everybody like very short today that's all I have for today really this is Mr Cooper signing off work hard have fun and be your best self
