001hello chris cooper here superintendent of clearwater schools with a brief update one of my main purposes for this update today is to tell you about some changes coming for mass requirements on our buses we've been under a federal order uh to wear a mask on our all school transportation uh as of friday uh the cdc has said they will no longer enforce that and that mass will be optional on school transportation for k-12 schools so that'll be also attached in this email but starting tomorrow morning mass will be optional on our school transportation while i'm doing an update i also want to just remind you uh we do have the end of our third quarter coming up this friday so we're already uh three-fourths the way through school and then next week march 10th and
00211th we'll have parent-teacher conferences and um students don't have school on friday march 11th that'll be the beginning of spring break lots of activities going on our spring sports practices actually start today yeah and we're still playing some basketball so our girls high school girls play tomorrow night and tuesday and the boys on wednesday in some sub state playoff games so lots of things going on our high school also just had successful completion of the spring play where they put on the production clue and did a fabulous job on saturday and sunday the other thing some people have asked me about is are we making up snow days at this point we are still just okay so um unless we have some more inclement weather come through we should be okay on our number of
