001Having this type of conference, it's getting the board members to be in the know. So, I think it just gets them to realize that it's a big job that we have. Remember, you've got to keep your boots on the ground. Be solid about what you do and what you decide for the kids, but keep your eyes on what's coming up. Be in the know. That's what this was all about. It was about letting board members know that what they decide in a boardroom, it really impacts kids. The ripple effect from coming here and sharing ideas with each other is that we can take it back to the school districts and to learn from other school districts. Like Dr. King says, we want every school district to be an a school district. As superintendents, we need to do our part. And if we're doing good things, we need to share it with other schools. >> I'm thankful for region one that's bringing us together. It allows us to network with other schoolboard members. But not only that, it also brings us the newest up-to-date information in order to move our school forward. This is time for us to continue our education and know as to what we can take back to our school district. This is great for newly elected board members to know that it's the team effort that's going to drive our community. It's going to drive our school district and I believe that it takes a whole district and in this case a region. So, we're all in this together and for the same purpose of getting our kids ready for life.
